App update interface. The old interface was better. The new one you can't tell if the system is on or off. All its says its sent to the car. I had the alarm go off three times in one day when I pushed the button to turn it off. Had to call guide point to turn it off completely till the app works again. Please fix the new interface please.

Latest Version "Broken". Car located on computer, no problems. Recent update has broken the app! As in the previous review, deleting, and reinstalling the app does not fix the problem... Please fix ?!?! iPhone 6s (ios 9.3.2)

Old version was better. The new version requires me to log on every time I open the app. And, the new ux is worse. Two giant steps backwards. It almost seems like they tried to create an unusable app, right down to the crappy app icon.

Settings are not obvious. I've been using this service for about two days now and am pretty underwhelmed with how the app functions for certain features. For Valet Mode and VIP, two very important functions, there is no obvious way of knowing if they are active or not. A simple on/off toggle switch is all it would take. As is, the app only pops up a quick message that the selected settings are on or off, but nothing is visible to confirm that once the message disappears.

Doesn't work most of the time.... Most of the time it says the car is at home or somewhere it's not and some selections don't work.

This wont tell you current location of your car... You will not be able to find your car unless your car stays same spot for two days..

Old app better. Can't use with iPhone 4s that well.. I wish I never upgraded! I have to ended user name and password each time. I hope my phone doesn't get stolen when I'm struggling to correctly type them in a not so good neighborhood in the city! Maybe they rather not want you log in all the time to use their service. Hate the new app. Paid to remove from vehicle to the next. Did I waste my money?

Bait and switch. Paid for the lifetime service back in 2014, received a call in 2016 that the hardware was outdated (2G) and that we would have to pay $400 + labor to have a 3G version installed. What? So, we had it upgraded. Come 2022, sorry, need to pay $400 + labor to upgrade to 4G. What? This is on top of them sending you a letter every year stating that you need to call them to confirm account information, and if you don't they deactivate your account. Canceled our service, what a scam. If not a scam, a total bait and switch. Don't sell me a lifetime plan without telling me I'm going to end up spending thousands of dollars to upgrade their hardware over time. If the router your internet provider gave you gets outdated, they send you a new one for free, its included in the service you paid for, as the service doesn't work without the router, same concept with Guidepoint's hardware. I paid for lifetime, but now lose out on that money because I don't want to keep giving them money to upgrade their hardware every few years.

Crappy app - Please fix. This app is really crappy. Everytime I attempt to log in when not using wi-fi (away from home), I get an error message that says "Alert. Login attempt timed out. Please try again." I paid enough money to have guidepoint installed in my new car, yet I can't even access the app when I most need it. Please fix this problem ASAP!!!!!

BUGS BUGS BUGS. FIX THE APP! I PAID $1000 FOR THIS AND I GET A BAD UNRELIABLE APP?!

Login dissabled. Button does not work to log-in.

Great addition to an already great service. Have had a guidepoint equipped vehicle for some time now. Love the service. Now I have quick easy access to my tools from the iPhone. I reccommend to all customers. If you dont have guidepont google them, get it, then get the app. Peace!

Posed. Been using this tracking app for 6 months and I love it. Very easy to use.

Vehicle Security Locator Device/ ios App will never work. Do not invest in Guidepoint's vehicle security device. You can't access on your phone and you have yo call in each time you want to check on your vehicle. This company will keep giving you excuses, on how they are fixing the problem. When in reality the no access to locating your vehicle is their intention all along. This is a case of buyer beware. I will be looking into a new device with another company. Hope this helps.

Bad connection. Can not access the account not going to online app is disappearing Worst app design I will not recommend. Please fix the app for sign in

App Crashes. I just download the App in to my iPhone 4S and it just crashes as soon as I hit log-in. :( I just reported in to GuidePoints website. We'll see

Log-In button disabled. The app has the log in button greyed out. What's going on? What's the point of this app if I can't even log in.

Please undo whatever you just 'fixed'. I have an iPhone 6 so there is no reason this app should not be working! It was locating very slow, then it just stopped locating at all. I uninstalled & reinstalled the app, turned off & on the phone. I looked & just noted the app update. I can't even get into services to see if I can get help. It is working on the computer, so it is the app that has a problem. I'll erase this review if you will fix the app.

Awful app. I am kind of a stickler for design and this app doesn’t do well as far as its functionality nor does it make sense as far as the workflow. It barely can tell me where my car is located and it’s definitely not intuitive. Steer clear away from this product!

Please fix this!. App fails to open. Crashes every time. Used to work good on my previous iPhone.

The app does not work. This app does not load my vehicle location. It just spins trying to locate. It used to work just fine. I now have to use google chrome app and load guidepoint website in order to locate my vehicle. Please fix this issue with an update! Oh yes, i tried with 2 different lPhone 6 plus, no luck.

Search my vehicle not working. After several updates to the app, the search my vehicle option is locating the car in a location I was about 2 months ago. Please fix this, the locator worked previously, but started to be bugged after a couple of updates ago.

Screenshot of app is NOT what you get.. This app was my saleman to encourage me to purchase GuidePoint hardware for my car as well as buying the lifetime renewal. It was dissapointing to see only 2 of the 6 listed fuctions: Locate Vehicle and Assistance. The other 4 were not on my installed version on my iPhone4s. When I called GuidePoint they said MOPAR did not want these 4 to be available to us, yet the app on iTunes shows them still, leading us to believe you are getting them, like me, dissapointing.

Needs work. This app is handy, when it works that is. Sometimes I’ll be busy and want to check up on my vehicles location but the tracker on the app is literally inoperable. It crashes all the time and when I set a radius for when my vehicle departs within that radius, it fails to send me notifications. I love the service but the app needs major work

Very straight forward. Very nice tool. Does exactly what it promises.

Finally added back the save username!!!. They had taken away the ability to save the username so you'd have to type it in every time. Very annoying if you frequently use the VIP feature. But now it's back! Thanks Guidepoint for actually listening to the complaints!

I can't even login. When I put in my username and password I can't even click the login button, it worked the first time I used it but it no longer works. For as much as guide point cost this app should work perfectly.

Poor company. This product very rarely works. And when you call support. They give you all kinds of excuses about how they can see your vehicle. What good is it if you can't see it. Terrible support Terrible company. Look for a better one I'm getting rid of it

New user. Works good so far. Would like to change views in the app. But works well

Doesn't work with iPhone OS 5.0. Great application.... that is until I upgraded my phone OS to 5.0. Now, the application doesn't work at all. Hopefully the tech guys are aware of this and will have a fix soon.

Shaw. App does not work

The system has been working. I have had GuidePoint on my truck for 18 months now. It has always reported location when requested to do so through the app. The system has also tracked my wanderings thru several states and Canadian provinces in great detail. I have not tried the Concierge service, probably should read how to do that. I tested the vibration sensing accidentally by closing a door without turning VIP off. They called me and after going thru the identification process turned it off. Don't try it, it's not a speedy process turning off the horn. This gets me to what I consider to be a major flaw in the app/system. There is no indication in the app that VIP is on. There is no indication that the vehicle has actually received the command and that VIP has actually turned on. The app indicates "Command Successful" but what does that mean? That the app and my iPhone sent out a command via the cell service to GuidePoint? Did GuidePoint get the command? Did my truck get the command? You can see an open loop here. Maybe this feedback loop is well beyond the capabilities of the system. My concern is forgetting that the VIP is on and waking half the neighbors when I close a door or go over a bump. I want my iPhone to continually blink at me when VIP is on and the vehicle is armed. Tracking and location determination have worked very well in my year and a half experience. Update. 12-25-17 I have been using this iOS app and it has been tracking me everywhere. Shows my trips, parked locations, weekly summaries. Easy to use. Of course the app still operates within the scope and confines of the system in how it communicates on arming VIP as described above. Update 03-04-20. The app has been following me and recording trips in US Northeast and up into Canada. Also took it on iPad for exploring Normandy area in France. Worked fine. I don’t have the truck camper so bridge heights are no longer a concern.

Terrible. No support. Never works. What a waste. Run from this

Not worth it!. I am so disappointed with this app and their service. Their system crashes so many times, thus making it impossible to log-in and find my vehicle location. We've only had this service for 6 months, and so far I have had to contact them numerous times, so they can reset their system because it does not provide accurate location of my vehicles. In addition, their app and website always goes down, and deletes all vehicle information and status. So glad we did not pay for this service since it was provided to us for free for one year when we purchased our vehicles. Definitely will not be renewing when our one year VIP service expires.

Supposed to have VIP - don't see all VIP features. I've revised my review - and I'll give the app 3-4 stars, but their customer service 2 stars max. This was a fairly expensive system, comparable to LoJack in price, but the add-ons and their costs make this a very expensive system in the long run. As for the app, once they reset my account (which I had to argue with the CS agent to get them to do it) it does what it says it will do.

Charles. Finally this version of the app corrected many of the previous problems. The app has increasing speed. It no longer required repeated logon. It's attractive. I does exactly what is expected.

Great product. Love it

Cool while it lasted.. Have five units, and six iOS devices that the app stopped loading on. Just fails out after login screen. Brought it to the attention of a readily available phone rep, who verified it worked on an MSPhone, and supposedly alerted some techs. Waiting on a fix. Wondering if I can change the rating later, because the thing looked cool for the three days it worked.

App just hangs. The app just hangs on my iPhone 5s. The browser version works better. Do not release this version if it does not work.

Does not get past sign in screen. I type in my username and password and it takes me to a "Loading..." screen. I've deleted and re-installed the app. My Honda dealership installed a device in my car to use with with app. Such a cheap way to make an extra buck.

Does not work. I'm not able to give it no stars, but if I could I would. When I first got the locator installed on my car the end of April, this app worked fine - it said my car was parked a block from my house (where I've never parked before) when it fact it was 35 miles away at the airport, but it worked nonetheless. Today I get an error message at log-in - even with uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Bunch of crap just like the company itself (and I'm DEFINITELY speaking from experience in dealing with it).

Quits as soon as the app opens. Application keeps crashing, could not even open it and use it for once. Needs some serious debugging.
