Finally Facebook that works and nice zoom. It was hard to wait for this update, but I am glad to have it now. Since the previous version's facebook interface broke after a change to the Facebook API. The main way I share videos is e-mail and Facebook, without the Facebook upload I was a bit irritated... but now am very happy. Give it 5 Stars. I've not yet tried the effects, but they look pretty neat. If you want to increase the framerate you need to go into the settings and change the resolution settings, by default they are set to Low.

So I'm glad I can record video on my 3g but if you've ever seen one of those horrible quality unclear Internet videos that you turned off because it was so bad- that's the qualty you will get unless your filming flowers or in animate objects. I have no use for effects when the recording quality is on .99 worth. I've used it twice. Once to see how it worked and a second time to give it another chance. Sure it's .99 but that's all it's worth. My 6 year old Sony 5.1 pixel still camera records 1000x better quality video. Your call to spend the change but be warned you are getting video quality on worth a few coins.

For a $1, I can get video 2 Facebook. The other reviews are right, low frame rate but not bad for a $1. I tried exporting video by email and by syncing my iPhone with iPhoto. In both cases QuickTime plays audio fine but the video is a green screen. It did not work. I exported to Facebook with no problem. So this is good. I don't use the other methods of exporting so I don't know about them. It is worth it, but any improvements will be great. Oh yeah, you only get 30 seconds or more of video. That is all. To all you reviewers who say it is junk, please remember it is only 99 cents. Relax! What do you expect... a $300 HD Camcorder! Smile and have a nice day.

Love this . I love all of the special effects on this little video app. This app definitely works well all across the board with all model iPhones. In my household, we have all 3 types and this surprisingly works well on the 2g. This is the video app that I use instead of the native one on the 3gs. It's cool how there are already 8 free video lenses with interesting special effects. I like how you can sneak a peek at the 2 video packs for sale before buying them as well. It's really fun to play around on  This is definitely the apex of all video apps out there and I highly recommend it. 

Doesn't work with iPhone 4. IVideo worked just fine with 3GS but with iPhone 4 you'll get all your videos rendered with a blue tint. I have written to iVideo customer support but have yet to hear back from them. iVideo developers have failed to inform we, the purchasing public, that their app doesn't accommodate the iPhone 4. It seems iVideo customer services have their hands too full to respond to such queries. It is only common sense that if Lann Labs fails to release such a simple statement, their long-term business relationships can only suffer. iVideo developers certainly have a in-box stuffed with these same complaints. Until Lann Labs comes clean, I remain put-off by their arrogance and will simply avoid their products. Stay away. They have demonstrated that they simply don't care to take the high road of honesty and respectfully inform their prospective clients that–if it is a fact that Lann Labs is indeed working on a revision–they owe we, their customers, a modicum of honest disclosure. Until Lann Labs does so, my iVideo app remains in the dark room. I suspect you'll never see this review. Why? It's truthful.

Awsome App. I was very upset when the 3GS came out because of the video capability. Then I downloaded the original iVideo app and was somewhat pleased even thigh it was only 3 frames per second. Then the update came out with an adjustment capability which improved the vidio quality so much. 3GP isn't bad but it's a small sized video & isn't perfect. The updated version of iVideo is bigger and personally I prefer it to 3GP for reasons already mentioned. If you want video for your iPhone 3G 2nd generation this is a MUST HAVE! I absolutely love it. Buy this now before the price goes up and even then it'll still be worth it.

Too Sweet. YOU NEED a Video Recorder....YOU NEED this ONE! I tried 2 others and they were beat. I bought this last month and used it a few times partially frustrated that I didn't just get the 3GS to begin with, I figured this was it. Well today I updated and it ROCKS! The new features and frame rate alone make this the best bet. Serious....don't even wast the time looking for another APP...This is the one and I am giving it a 5 star. Ohh and WiFi tooo....I just tried it and was able to play the video right on my desktop! GREAT JOB Laan Labs!

Great app. More than worth the price.. Does exactly what it says. After seeing the demos of the 3GS, I just assumed the 3G was incapable of video recording - I am proven wrong by this app. Another thing I was pleased to discover is that the video editing features Apple showed in the 3GS demos are part of the updated iPhone OS. So, as ling as you're running a current OS, and u save the video you take with this app to the picture roll, u can edit it just like on the 3GS. Framerate might be better on 3GS, but this app gets the job done for the older phones. Latest update substantially improved framerates. You see 100,000 "Find Restaurant," "Calculate Tip" and crappy game apps in the app store, and u wish you could come across an app that's actually more than just a gimmick. Here ya go.

Doesn't record as long as advertised. The description says it records video for about 1 minute. I was only able to get 10 seconds before it reached its size limit. This discrepancy is unacceptable. If the description says "1 minute" it needs to at least...at the very least hit the 40 second mark. At 3-5 frames per second... 10 seconds is not much better than simply recording some audio and playing it back while staring at a static photo. While I am glad that there is some hope of getting video recording on the 3G, this application in it's current state is not the solution. This is basically a slideshow of pictures set to real-time audio.

Awesome for 3G, BUT.... This app is great, and I love all the features! I love it so I can make videos because I just have a 3G. I think the only problem that I saw was that sometimes, when you play back videos, there's, like, some sort of layer of green, pink, and blue tiny squares all over the screen. I reopen the app and it works fine, but thats kind of annoying. Also, please please PLEASE improve the quality. There are a few things wrong with this app, but I'm giving you 5 's because I know you didn't intend on doing that and I don't know what kind of trouble you have to go to to change an app. Thanks so much!!

Great but no MobileMe support. This is an excellent video recorder and editor for those of us that don't have an iPhone 3GS. It has great options like quality choice, sound, ability to publish to popular video sites, FTP and share right over wifi. The thing I like the most is being able to export directly to the camera roll on my iPhone. After this, I can trim the video and when I sync with my Mac, I just launch up Image Capture and copy the vid to my desktop. Really nice. One thing I have noticed that is missing is the ability to publish videos to Apple's MobileMe service. This is not only missing from this app, it seems that no video recorders here on the App Store have it! I would really really appreciate this option being added and am willing to pay extra for it via am app add on. Please add this!

A Must-Have for the 3G. My youngest daughter was married yesterday in a small civil ceremony. IVideoCamera captured every mornent and sound perfectly using my 3G when I needed it most. Would have only had still photos otherwise. WiFi transfer easily copied the file to my computer for storage and sharing with family & friends. Many thanks to the programmers of this little wonder app from a very grateful father, who never took the time to write an app review until now.

Talk about perfect timing. I couldn't sleep one night and decided to look at some apps meanwhile, and I came across this one so I decided to look at the reviews hoping it would put me to sleep and was amazed at all the great reviews and was wondering could this be true. I was skeptical and thought they probably got a bunch of family and friends to write all these lies but oh well it's only a buck I'll be losing so I downloaded it and to my surprise it works and very nice I might add especially the effects, and about the perfect timing in exactly 2 weeks from now I was gonna upgrade to the "S" just for the video cuz I was tired of everyone in my life showing me vids from their damm phones and here I have one of the greatest phones of all time and no damm video, how can that be anyways thank you so much you saved me 200$ for the upgrade and I now do own the greatest phone ever invented. Now it's bedtime for me with a  on my face. P.S. If I could I'd guve u 10 stars fir this one.

Three words: Oh My Gosh!. I was completely jealous of my sister because she got the 3gs before I was able to because of my contract, but I'm not anymore!! I've compared her videos to mine taken with this app and this app is wayyyyyy better! I wouldn't have believed it had I not seen it with my own eyes! The 3gs video was choppy and blurry, mine was clearer and just plain better. Hats off to the developer! The only thing they do have on you guys is mms support, which I'm sure you geniuses are working on now! With that, it will be a 5 star app! I would have paid $10 for this app!!! You guys deserve it! Thanks 

Decent update, but Facebook broke. Was happy to hear facebook link was fixed only to find out it's not fixed at all. I have a 3G 16gig and still can't get videos to facebook through this app. BUT I figured out a workaround until they do fix it. Facebook now gives users their own personal email address to post straight to their wall using only email. I used this app to send video via email to that address and worked fine. But wish the app worked as described. Needs higher framerate for sure, would jump to a 5-star for me if they could just fix the facebook issue and increase framerate. Other than that nice app, no crashing issues here.

No AppStore Refunds & doesn't work with iPhone 4. Don't take this review as bad, if you own an iPhone 4 then DON'T BUY this app!!! The developer doesn't appear to be in any hurry too fix it, probably can't afford a new iPhone 4 with all the money they made off this app or Apple took too much from it and it's not worth the hassle. But if you own a 3G/3GS THIS IS AN AWESOME app and I do recommend buying it! And to all the people complaining for a refund, DREAM ON. No such thing as a refund with AppStore purchases. Apple wants the money more than the developer and that's the truth, if a developer comes out with a great product and they make good money they do make sure the app is updated usually. Apple on the other hands only seems to care about, "Show me the money!" - line from the movie Jerry Maguire...If you take a look at all the recent new computers and that's all of them you will find out Apple is building computers out of, (like airplanes are built) out if the cheapest parts! I have used Apple products since they started with an awesome computer like my old Lisa and still an Apple warranty/service repairman for over 20 years now and the junk they're selling people is costing you the customer more than these $1 to $5 apps. So stop your complaining and get Apple to start building the kind of product they use too, and continue supporting the little guys, like the developers of this app and many others. Just my two cents and I hope you listen...

False Advertisement. Gimme my dollar back. This camera is a piece of crap and doesn't connect to facebook like it falsely advertises. I give it one star because I can't give it zero stars. I want my dollar back. I installed this app because I needed a camera quickly and didn't have time to read reviews and just looked at the star rating. I give zero stars to all you idiots that wrote a bad review but still put 4 stars. Morons. It's amazing you even figured out how to turn your phone on, let alone install apps. Please don't reproduce and multiply your stupidity exponentially. Furthermore, I give the iTunes store zero stars for allowing companies to produce garbage and lie about what the application does. I'm gonna create a Time Travel app that promises to teleport you through time and have all my friends 5-star it.

Explanations:. I bought this app just to explain how it works and why half of you will NEVER get what you ask for. Please read: The resolution is where it is for a reason, the highest maximum resolution is the screen resolution of the iPhone, this is because this app does not record video from your camera, it opens your camera for what your iphone thinks is a picture and then records your screen(which is also what cycorder does). you will not see this with mms support because it does not save the videos to the iPhone local memory, but inside the app's allocated storage, the iPhone 3G software is as yet, not configured for storing video. And as for frame rate, your iPhone's picture mode has a very low refresh rate, so even if they made the frame rate higher, you would get multiple frames of blurry stuff. Hope this clears things up, I will try and answer more questions as i see them.

Great app for the price. To all the haters, consider the cost for what this brings to the table. 99 cents for a decent video camera that Apple should have provided with the phone. Sure it's not a high end video camera, but in a pinch it's been a lifesaver for me. This is a core feature that should have been. I would have paid $6.99 for this honestly even for the most basic of video apps with audio. Okay the Fb issue needs to get resolved, but you can export to your camera roll and do that manually - relax people.

False advertising. Well this app claims to allow you to upload videos to Facebook but it really doesn't. If you go to the app web page the creators claim to have a fix that they will send to your iphone if you send them a request but, I did and they didn't. They also claim to have a upgrade in the works but, based on the other clame about the patch I have little faith in the programers of this program. It records a quicktme video which is not compatable with Facebook so first you will need to change the video format, on your pc/mac, the upload it from your pc. I knwo only 99 cents but, how many 99 cents do you take from people before you have to live up to your claims?

Really Great. This release of this great app addressed my one and only MAJOR concern with this app. The devs did a great job and went above and beyond the expectations. This finally persuaded me to get this app for my 3gs, while my wife used it for her 3g. THIS IS THE ONLY VIDEOCAMERA APP ON THE APP STORE TO MY KNOWLEDGE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO ZOOM MID-VIDEO. ALL OTHERS MAKE YOU ZOOM BEFORE YOU START THE VIDEO AND LOCK THAT POSITION IN FOR THE WHOLE VIDEO. Not so with this!!!!! I took multiple videos to test this, and time after time it certainly did work. Nice job Laan Labs! The only thing left that other video apps have over this one is the 15 fps frame rate. Maybe you could up this limit and exceed our expectations even more. I read what was written in the descriptions so I'm not pressing if you're working on it. For all those whiners with a 3g who want 3gs quality video, hate to burst your bubble but you're not gonna get it. To achieve high frame rates with smooth motion and fluid transitions you need a lens which supports video. Just be happy that this app is only $0.99 and allows you to take incredibly high resolution video given the cruddy cameras included with the iPhone.

1.5 improvement but needs 24fps. Version 1.5 definitely an improvement. 1. The recording button when OFF is red, and when recording ON is a subtle glowing red. The difference is too small to notice. Please change this to make it clear when the record button is ON and is OFF to improve the UX or HCI of the product 2. Though the video recording is improved. I'm looking for 320x240 video at 24fps. Larger i.e. 320x426 video at slower fps is nice but I'm looking for 24fps at 320x240 which is one quarter of 'TV video' quality. The hardware should be able to accomplish this from other examples I've seen on the iPhone (not on the App Store) With version 1.5 I am still not getting 15fps. Maybe 10 fps at the lower resolution. Room for improvement. The video effects are nice, but I rather the company focus on framerate improvement and changing that recording button to make it obvious when it is or is not recording.

Finally a  for my  3G!!!!!. I got this app a few days ago, and I really like it. Although the frame rate is really low, I'm sure an update will boost it up soon. The only thing that I don't like is the fact that I can't send the videos I take in a MMS to friends and family.  I really hope they add this option in the next update. Also, please work on the mic too. Seems that it's not picking up as much sound as it should be. Over all, it's great! And for ONLY .99, everyone that doesn't have a 3GS should buy this app! worth $0.99 for iPhone 2G. Maybe my expectations are low. I spend $3+ on a hot drink that's gone in 15 minutes at the local Starbucks a couple times a week. I spent $0.99 on this app - the first ever to offer video capture for iPhone 2G (original). Yes, the frame rate is low, yes the app should store and organize like Photo does for pictures. I was able to record about 23-25 seconds before it stopped. The main disappoint I have is as Novice4 noted, once the video is exported to iPhoto (haven't tried other options), the video doesn't play but the audio does. Playback on the iPhone is OK. Need to be able to save and reply on another device - hope it's fixed in next version.

Video Junkie. I love this idea!! Since I only had a 3g phone I got this right away! Only problems are frame rate (but hey, it's still better than what all of us with the 3g had.. no vid at all!) My only gripe is that 1 minute record time is promised, but I was only able to record for ten seconds when it says 'recording limit reached'. I've got plenty of space, and even after a full phone restart it still gave less then 10 sec. Not worth your time (or 99 cents) until this issue is fixed - take my advice and check the reviews and wait for the update before you buy, or you'll be waiting with an app you can't use.. til then I'm stuck waiting for the update

Unbelievable!. I installed this app earlier today and cannot believe that l can now record video. I was very surprised at the video quality. The only thing I would change is to add stability control... it can be a little tricky to hold the camera still, but the built in camera has a problem with this also. I recorded my dog running and it looked great. She is usually just a blur when I use the standard Apple camera. Wi-Fi sharing worked perfectly. Great price for a great app.

Fix the facebook connect login screen. I've used other iPhone 3G video recording apps recently, but I like this one better. Mainly because you can specifically choose where to share your videos and not just upload to one main place and share a link to the others, Only problem is that the facebook connect does not work. I cannot even type my login info in. It is impossible. That's the only negative IMO. Update: To the people giving negative reviews for the facebook connect issues, they're apparently working on a fix.. but it's been a month already.

iViedoCamera. As a pro photographer, about all I can say is...WOW!! The video on the regular iPhone camera is "so-so" and disappointing, but this is awesome! I love the zoom feature and the quality of the video is wonderful. I haven't even "adventured" into the special effects, but am sure they'll be a ton of fun. I'm tempted to take it along to wedding shoots to add some fun to the vdeos of people sayng, "Hi to the newly-weds" and tweaking it to make it "special" and unusual. Thanks for adding something new to an old dog's tricks...VERY well thought out and created by someone who knows their stuff. Does exactly what it says it does.... Forgive my French, but F&#k Apple for not providing us with video capability on the normal (non 3Gs) iPhone... I love my iphone but I always hated that specific aspect of it. Well now we have an inexpensive solution, it is not perfect- video is OK res, sometimes a bit choppy and sound is kind of OK.. but it fixes the gap! Especially the latest version works a lot better- major improvement - and allows us to share on most of the popular sites... thanks for the good work! I am very glad I purchased your software.

Three For Three. I'm shocked to see this wash up on the app store shores. Never did I think a video recording app would see the light of day here. I was puzzled but at the same time excited when downloading this, as I didn't know what exactly to expect. My hopes were not high, and after some time I'm glad that they weren't. However, my future hopes for this app are bright, as there is plenty of potential for this app. The share feature is quite nice, and the overall "feel" for this app is well polished; squeeky clean. Even the icon is flawless! Hopefully this next update will spiffy up the quality of the recorded video as well as the recording length. Jailbroken video recording apps have pretty reasonable quality, and seeing how they run on my 3G I see NO reason as to why this app can't climb to that level. Looking forward to that update!!

I was so excited at first!. I'm giving it a five because I hate bashers. But I must ask this to the devs . Is Apple going to let you alter the frm rates or are you just leading us on. It's apparent that the only way you got this to pass the App store was by limiting FPS and video length to a dissapointing 10 sec. So what's going to change? Surely, this app at first, had all the tools for a successful 3g video app before Apple shredded any hopes of acceptance by 3g owners. Although I have given you 5 stars for pure effort, I am skeptical about the future of this app. I think I just blew a dollar on a stuttering video that lasts seconds. Good one.

Awesome app for a buck. The way (for now until they fix it) that I found to share vids on facebook is to email them to yourself and then get on your computer and put them on facebook from there. It's the first time I've been able to put vids on facebook so I'm pretty stoked! I'm sure the framerate will eventually get up to the max that the camera will alliw through app updates. The first update came within weeks of the release of the app. I'm really happy to finally be able to record video with my 3g and to only have had to pay a dollar to do it is super sweet! I'd definitely have paid more for this.

Love it!!!. Finally...I have a video recorder on my 3G! I have no complaints. I think the developer(s) did an awesome job and put a lot into this app. The effect packs are all totally worth the ! I purchased them as soon as I opened my app the first time after using it for only about 5 minutes. I wanted all this app had to offer. I strongly suggest purchasing this app! Especially if your device didn't have a recorder in the first place like mine. I've had my iPhone 3G for just over a year and to finally be able to record with it makes it feel like a new device! Thank you so much!

Great App. In my opinion, this Video Camera is a great app for the IPhone 3G and 2G. I currently have an IPhone 3G and this app works fine. I have a few suggestions though: -I would like to see an ability to send videos through texts. (If that is even possible with a 3G) -Increase the recording time for high resolution videos. -The Facebook sharing option to work Other than that this app is great. Great sound quality and okay recording quality. I can't wait for the next update.

It's a great App for iPhone 3G (Especially for a buck!). If you don't get too technical, and just appreciate this App for what it is - a great, easy fix to add video to the pre-camcorder iPhones - you'll be totally happy! Does best in daylight filming, and was pleasantly surprised at the adequate audio quality. Also liked the option of choosing high- or low- res recording, depending on whether I planned to share it with friends. The only complaint I've had re my iPhone has been the camera and lack of video recording capability, so this at least adds the recording feature (still does'nt have flash, but this will do for now!) :O)

Great application/ don't need a 3gs!. The application works flawless and it feels like it has been intergraded with the phone from the start. It currently supports only 10fps which looks better than before. Theirs two draw back with this product which are actually minor. The first is that 10fps could actually be higher, a jailbroken phone and get up to 15 fps hopefully the creator will be able to get 15 on this too. Also it would be nice if it took pictures too therefore we would only use this application for photos and video instead of one for video and one for the photos.

Omg thanks.. Dude..who ever made This.. Thanks.. Ya know it's just one of those things our iPhones should do.. Even the 1st one.. We all know this..not having it.. Well life goes on.. The phone and everything else that goes with it is great..but no video .. Uhg..then however months later..3gs.. I felt so taken ya know.. It's just one of those things I hate to complain about.. There's a war and other things going on in the world that are more important Than my new phone/computer not having video record option.. Then every once in awhile I'd really like to rec. A moment.. Oh I can't cause apple f&$@'d me..it does everything else.. Now when my buddies do somethings stupid in the studio.. I can rec. Thanks to the developers.. U did something that apple said it couldn't do.. Ur the man or women or both.. I love you.. Whom ever you are.. It's simple things like this that makes me happy... Oh yea.. The app works great my iPhone friends.. It does what it says.. Of course it's not HD .. But if u want to rec. Something .. U can..

Probably about as good as you can get on the 3G. I feel a little guilty leaving a 4-star review, the application itself is pretty flawless. Two thumbs up to the developer. The real issue is more about the limitations of the OS and the device. It really is barely passible as a video camera. Compared to the Nano or 3GS (or even the base model Flip that I own), it's pretty horrible. No fault to the developer though. They've truly made lemonade from lemons here. If they could somehow find a way to increase the frame rate for both modes I think this might actually become a reasonable alternative for non-3GS phones. One suggestion for the developers: If you added camera support to the app, it would find a place in my dock, where I have never put a 3rd party app before. Bottom line is that it's totally worth the purchase price (in fact I might even suggest that it's about 1/3 of the price it should be). Just don't buy this with unreasonable expectations.

Almost Good / Almost There. Tried using on a 1st Generation iPhone 16Gb. Works pretty well on the phone, considering that this is a first generation iPhone. However, for some reason when trying to view the video on my Mac (Snow Leopard), the audio is clear, but there is no video (file was imported into iPhoto, and played with Quicktime). Not sure if the issue is on my mac, or it is bug when the video was sent out of the first generation iPhone. File format is .mov. I also tried to email the file, but again no video, just audio (used Gmail service). This application is very promising. I think my 1st Generation iPhone still has some life in it! Thanks for the application.

Great effort. Considering this camera was never meant to record video, and the memory limitations, I was expecting much worse. This is actually quite good. And definitely has further potential. I would say, it should be possible to run a thread that offloads pictures from main memory to the app's sandbox and then stitches them together once recording is finished. Although I'm not sure how fast the images can be stored in the sandbox considering it's probably much slower than main memory. I would look into dumping the images unto the SQLite blob format, should be faster than encoding them as nsdata objects Either way, great effort, but something definitely needs to be done to increase recording length. Currently it's really dependent on the amount of available ram. Still it's impressive, especially considering how you managed to sync audio with video.

3GS Owner. I'm only giving 4 stars cause it's a good app overall, nice effects (infinite zoom is cool) and the ability to zoom while recording is nice, not the best quality but good enough for what I need it for. 99 cents is a good steal, the other apps cost 2.99 for there vintage video and black and white. The reason I only gave four stars is because the default camera is poor quality. If I choose to have no effect then the quality is not as good as if I just used the default video cam. I hope they change that at some point. But, as said before, not bad and at .99 its a no brainer.

Great. Well worth .99 cents. You can edit and trim the video. Export the video to your camera roll and at the top you will see a timeline that you can scan through and edit. Yes it takes multiple pictures and records audio. That's what video is. Just a serious of pictures one right after the other. I'm happy with just the low quality recording. Works perfectly fine to record something and post it. There is a work around for the facebook problem. (which seems easy enough for the developers to fix). Log on FB on your computer go to settings. Go to mobile. Go to your mobile page. In the middle it will give you a email address to send videos to. Save that in your contacts. And just send the videos to that. It'll post right to your wall. Easy.

Great app but one thing would make it perfect!!. This app is amazing for the price but I would love it if it was able to record while the screen was off. As of right now if you are recording and put your screen on standby... The video stops rolling the starts when you turn your screen back on. This would be an amazing update! There also needs to be some type of zoom please!!! Please please make zooming in possible in the next update that would make this amazing!

Pleasantly Surprised. I thought this app would be weak cuz I read the review about the previous version, but I got curious and downloaded the updated one, and all I can say is wow. The videos aren't amazing, but cmon it's a phone. It's for capturing those surprise moments, and tjonk of it this way, at least you got it on video. If you want higher quality video for pre-planned stuff, break out your camcorder, but for impromptu stuff this app is great. I love how you can export to the photo album and trim just like on the 3gs (I have a 3g).

Not great-very unimpressive. We know with the 3g we don't have video like the 3gs, but this was presented as a bridge for that gap. The presentation is INACCURATE. This app takes continuous pictures and streams them together as a video. When you play the video back, it appears unbelievable choppy and distorted. It does not allow for zooming and the quality is terrible. I won't argue that you could find much better with a different app-face it, 3g doesn't do video. But this app is no bridge for the absence of video, so I would hold out for the time when someone much smarter than me or the developers of this app to come along with a real solution. In the mean time, just take continuous pictures and stream them together yourself. You could probably do a better job that this app does.

Finally !!!!. iPhone.....so far ahead, yet so far behind !!! My flip phone from 6 years ago had a camera just like this. Now if they can make an app with spell check and 4-6 word perdictive text with smart phone features to learn my lingo and whole phrases then yippppppy !!!!!!!!!!!! I wish they'd make life easier and start with the practical stuff I use 90% of the time and create those things to be top notch. I'd give the whole phone 5 stars; instead I rely on apps I have to close in and out of. Pain in the....... Whatever...Done ranting...this is worth 99 cents for sure !!!!! Les xo Ps. I was 9 days to late past the 30 day take back policy to get the 3gs so I'm a little soar as well. Wish I had a clue !

Destined to be Number 1 App.... I have downloaded 50+ apps and never left a review, after downloading and using this app for the first time I had to sing it's praises. Video capture was truly the biggest gap between the 3g and 3gs and this app closes that gap. The interface is terrific. It looks like a built in firmware app from Apple. Havent tried the sharing features yet, but just being able to record video on my 3g has me completely siked. The price point for something this good gives me faith that there are still people out there that aren't driven by greed. THE BEST APP IN THE APP STORE.

Great invention. lol I've had this app the whole time since before the update, when ratings were trashing it because it didnt link to facebook correctly...I could care less about facebook so it never bothered me..Those who knocked it went with Qik camera (which has mysteriously disappeared from the app store??...hmmm) Now this one is back on like #4 out of 50. It does what it says it does so I'm happy, I'm not picky for .99. Plus I'm sure there will be more updates just like the publisher has said many times in response to peoples comments.

vs jailbroken cycorder. I've jailbroken my phone before. And using cycorder. I'll be honest that the video and sound quality is better in the jailbroken cycorder program. However after getting tired of my phone crashing several times a day, I restored and unjailbroke my phone and went looking for apps in the app store. This is the first video program I've used. At high quality, the videos seem almost as good, but not quite, as cycorder. At low quality you can definitely tell cycorder is a lot better. However, trying to transfer videos on and off the computer with cycorder was always a pain, and it isn't so bad with this program. using the Wifi to transfer is incredibly easy. And i can watch the videos using VLC. The sound on VLC is great, but you can tell the video frames aren't the best. I give the app a 4. It loses some because its sound is great, the video is better than most of the other apps out there, (even though the frame rate seems jittery due to the 10 frames per second) but it makes it up with the ease of use with the email/wireless transfers. Like i said i haven't tested the facebook transfers.. but its easy enough once i put it onto my computer to upload.

Worth every 99 pennies. This app for vid recording is worth a quick 99 cents. It's better than $300 for a 3g S that's for sure. If your worried about "quality or sound" like most of the complaints are then go buy a real camcorder and stop your whining! This is a video phone recorder people. You get what you pay for, exactly that. I also purchased Qik video for 1.99, not worth it. This ap loads much faster in about 2 secs to quickly take a video, whereas Qik sometimes takes 5 secs or longer. No probs uploading via facebook or mms for me, Mine works perfect!

Facebook Problems. For all iPhone 3G users, this is fantastic...BUT...there is currently a problem with the Facebook login interface. Watching the video on playback is a little 'jumpy' if filmed in high qlty mode, but all in all it's a great app. Please fix the Facebook login issue with the next update and I'll review my current  rating up to 

YOU DONT NEED 3GS!!!. I currently have an iPhone 3G, and after downloading this app, i dont need to worry about not having a video camera on my phone, and its very simple to use! Maybe later on they could improve on the frames, but trust me its worth $10 instead of the low price. ITS WORTH IT!

Wow this is soooo good i have the iPhone 2g so dont worry it works on it and really well actually it records landscape and portrait with either high or low quality and includes sound... ive been looking for a movie recording app for ages and i finally found a good one but be careful when recording to not move the camera too fast from places or it blurrs the produced video glad i could help anyone if i did!

Can't sign in to facebook. Works very well but I have a problem uploading to Facebook. The screen where you login don't work it's like two screens are crashing and it won't accept input, it's fine otherwise

THE best video recorder for 3g. I've been using this app with the update for a couple of days now and it clearly wins for ease of use, playback and exporting options. Even my wife uses it with ease...(big win for me). Y do all of the other apps make u watch playbacks in landscape when not recorded in that mode? I have bought 6 other video recording apps and they will now ALL get deleted bar ivideocamera. Gr8 work guys....

Best App for it's price. For $1.54, this is the best app for it's price! Few suggestions to improve it even better. 1. - allow to record & save for at least 10 min. 2 - change "record" red icon to "pause" while recording. 3 - let video to stream seamlesly like a real video camera. 4 - allow to label each recording while exporting. I will pay more for these improvements.

Very impressive updates. glad i bought this app! wasnt sure at first cause i kinda felt like maybe apple will introduce a video recorder for my 3g in a future update. But im glad i did well worth the $1.19 the wifi FTP sharing to the computer is great and the High Quality mode look very nice. cant wait to see more updates. so until our apple 3g iphones come with a recorder (hopefully one day), this app does a fantastic job!

Works. Works as stated. It does save video as frames and can be jumpy and sound doesn't always sync up - but great for getting vid's you can't get unless you had a 3gs :)

AMAZING!!!. It's great for people who had their phones before the 3Gs came out. Only small problem is that it lags but it is still worth it. Hopefully that is fixed in the next update. Please increase frame rate. I defintly should buy this app.

Great camera, need to fix facebook upload. Facebook upload doesn't work. The screen where you log in won't allow you to do so. Bit of a bummer. Otherwise the camera is fab.

Wow!. So awesome! Now my snobby 3GS friends have nothing on me! Ha! Love the option to save to Camera roll -don't use any of the others, but it's nice to know they're there if I need them. What would be great is a noise that sounds when you start/stop recording - like the camera shutter sound? Currently when videotaping oneself with friends it's hard to tell if you've pressed the button or not and a small sound would be great. :)

Importing. I have already written a review, and this app is fantastic, however there is a problem with importing. When uploading videos onto iPhoto, videos cannot be viewed unless their file extension is changed from .mov to .avi. Even when changed, they can only be viewed on the computer outside iPhoto - they remain only as an image in iPhoto.

3G is now a keeper. Since the release of the 3GS I've been even more annoyed about the lack of a video recorder on the 3G iPhone. That is until now. The app lives up to it's description and functions great. As stated the frame rate and picture resolution are low and is my only critisism. Thanks heaps, I'm happy with my iPhone now:-)

Awesomeeeee. Very good for 3G owners, it does everything you want it to and it can be exported to your camera roll, looks like a 3GS video when you export it. VERY GOOD get this app!!!

Very Nice. I recently had the iPhone 1st gen and ovibously it does not have a video camera until, now this app has made my iPhone very useful now. But now I got an iPhone 3GS and now this app is very useless to me. Things to change: Make it a still and video cam Delete camera roll item in the app

Video is excellent. Seriously people. This is the best. We have all wanted it. Well now it's here. At this price u cannot complain. It is excellent. Great work people. Amazed at how well it works. Keep up the good apps. Have I said excellent. 

It's about time. Given the limitations which the developers have said they're working on, this app does its job very well. Recording is easy, lets you trim afterwards, love the built in share functions. Could do with larger resolutions like in other apps although that does translate to larger files. Unfortunately upon exporting it to the Mac (10.6.2), the video files are unreadable unless you have Perian plugin installed. For whatever reason, the .mov file would not play back video (audio only) on quicklook, on Finder preview, and on QuickTime X. QuickTIme 7 and VLC with the Perian plug in play the files as expected. It uses .mov but won't play natively on QuickTime. Very strange. Other than that, it's pretty good.

Help. Can somebody tell which is better this app all the Qik videocamera...........no matter the frame rate there doesn't seem to be much difference as got them both

Well worth it!. This app is pretty good value for money. Not as good quality as 3gs recordings but definately takes away the sting of disappointment all those original iPhone owners felt when 3gs came out with video recording. The update has made a dramatic improvement on the quality. Keep the updates coming is all I can say.

Brilliant!. Well designed and easy to use. I like the inclusion of special effects, but dislike the fact that you must buy others if you want them all. Fast app load and good features such as upload to various sites, and saving to camera roll. If you want a video camera for the 3g then get this one!

Awesome. Great app, shaky on the playback but still great quality! Instead of uploading directly to Facebook you can use your Facebook mobile upload email address you use to send pictures to and that will upload the video too :)

Nothing short of a miracle. I figured it would be long before someone worked out how to capture video on a 3G. This is a brilliant bit of software engineering and understanding of the iPhone 3G hardware. Can't wait to see how the updates improve this.

FINALLY!!. It's takin sooooo long or a vid cam on the iPhone! It's not a bad app for $1.19 but you definetly need a better frame rate for the app. Is it possible for the iPhone to take screen captures of what it is seeing out of the camera for a faster frame rate instead of it taking slow pictures? Save video to iPhone Camera Roll. THIS APP ROCKS. Can save files to Camera Roll so that can be sync'd with your iTunes Library without need to WiFi it. Frame rate a little low BUT well worth the price! a Definite buy for all 3G phone users.

Great video camera!. This is an awesome app which I never have any problems with! I was just thinking, you should make a feature where you'd be able to trim the video. Cause i have this video and it goes for 5 minutes taking up a LOT of memory. I realised half of this is just nothing and i wanted to shorten it but i had no way how... Just a feature that would let us trim it would be great! Apart from this one feature that should be added, the app is great! I hope you update it!

Ok..ish. Doesn't work quite good.... well it's ok, but like.. If you use special effects the quality ain't great. Also, when you record normally it's not that great, the framerate isn't that good, it'll lag abit, but still.. Out of the other video cameras this one beats them all. It has a long way to go, but hey.. It's got potential ;)

seriously people. iv got this app after having a look at the reviews, seriously....... I did a bit of testing with my iphone and a mates iPhone that has the new 3gs. there is NO way my phone even come slightly close to a good result in compare video footage. bottom line I can not wait for my contract to run out so I can upgrade to the new 3gs video.

Good stuff. I was quite skeptical before I got this, but was quite surprised by how good it was! It's really smooth, and you can record for ages depending on amount of space. It's worth the money tbh :D

Wow, worth the wait.... Definitely a superb addition to the iPhone 3G, I was pleasantly surprised to see how good 10 frames per second look. And somehow didn't even expect sound to the movies but hey it's there. Also when you look at your video's through the standard iPhone photo app, it lets you edit the movie. A must buy....

Video That works. Well done to the developers, excellent app with a very affordable price tag. Now I have a video recorder on my iPhone 3 G. If your thinking the video recorder can't be any good like me you will be surprised. Brilliant. Would like to be able to send video via email directly from the app itself but at this stage it not intergrated with the video software. Highly recommend this App! 

At last!. Finally i can record and upload recorded videos from my 3G!! Besides the pathetic framerate, which needs to be upgraded!! It is brilliant! If it gets a much better framerate! I will give it 5 stars. But at the moment its only worth 3.

Alright. The face detection box comes up during recording. Some of the recordings aren't sized properly and only show a part of the screen/video on other media players and apps. The video is of low quality and audio is NOT in sync. Eg. Talking doesn't match the person's lips, it's delayed. There needs to be an option to switch between cameras - photo, video, front and back cameras. MORE work is needed to improve this app. There hasn't bn an update in a very long time, but there's plenty of similar apps - produced by the same developer.

Great job. Great app :) when u export to camera roll, you can actually edit, trim the video like in the 3Gs now the only drawback is the low framerate for recording but they announced an update to fix that. Msg to developpers " do like CYDIA's CYCORDER, 15-18 fps"

Read this if you are having trouble. I was having some trouble with app fir iPhone 4 like I can't record for over ten seconds or the app crashes! So what I did I held the power button on my iPhone4 and hit slid to power off then turned my phone back on AND IT WORKS! Amazing app I love the effects quality I recorded a 6min video without any issues ^_^ :)

Great but doubt for update. I love this app and the pause feature makes it more better than most videocamera apps. I like effects there very good and frame rate isn't bad but it needs improvements if it wants to beat it's counter parts. I'm beginning to wonder if u are even makeing an update. It's been quite a long time since last update. Please start or finish the promased update.

Blue Hue After Recording. I would give this a higher 5  rating, but as others have mentioned there is a blue hue on the screen after recording on 4G iPod Touches and 4G iPhones. Since it was 0.99 cents I figured I would get it anyway so they could fix the problem later and then I will change my review.

Need update!!!. The video files are not recognized by the photo album since the last update. Right before the last update I was able to see a frames window at the top of the screen but since the update, it disappeared. Was great until os4 was released.

surprisingly cool. Ive bought this app when i had iphone 3g and it didnt make videos, now i instaled in my iphone 4 and i found it is amazing even with a hd camera as it has, the effects are really cool specially the one with the breaking news subtitles!

Poor frame rate compared to Qik. On my iPhone 3G I've been looking for a good video app. I bought this app and was disappointed with the slow fame rate. The other settings are good, bit Qik shoots far better video, and your videos are shared by http, not FTP, which is easier. Qik's framerate is also much better.

It is not working. i tried recording a video and it stops by itslef in 1 or 2 seconds only! i paid for this and it is basically useless right now, somebody please help me!!

Worth at least $5. For a long time, you could only do video recording on an iPhone 3G if you jailbroke it. Also, the video capture is faster than even the default Camera app; there must be really tight code in this app.

1.1 update is awesome. This current update adds so many additional features that were missing before. The interface is much better and the ease of swithing between low and high quality are excellent. You can view your videos from within the app or have the choice to export to camera roll which is great. The video quality is much improved and is one of the best I've seen out of some of the other top video apps for 3G. I'm not sure if it is possible to improve the frame even better but this is still a must have for the 2G or 3G iPhones.

I love it!!!. Great App!! I was going to get the 3GS, but now I am happy with the addition of this video app. I just downloaded it and I am using wifi. The videos are very clear. I prefer the low quality setting over the hi setting because it doesn't break the picture up in frames as much. It works better in a well lit room. I think the video length is sufficient. The special effects are nice, but not a big deal. I will not buy any additional special effects.

Facebook Uploads Don't work & Frame Rate too low. While the feature to upload to facebook is bulit in, the option doesn't work. The screen that allows you to enter your credential's (FB Account/Password) to upload specifically to FB does not bring up the keyboard and locks up. (3G with firmware 3.1.2) The recording frame rate is also a little low. Cycorder does better. It is very nice in that it adds the video's to the Photo Roll, and you are able to crop them. Once FB upload is fixed, I would recommend it for ease of use and capabilities. If you don't do FB uploads, you might like it now.

It's okay.. Cannot connect to facebook to upload video. The facebook pop up is all bunched up and I cannot click the field to type in anything. User fields and the the picture icon thing are bunched up. I have to exit the program and go back into it to do anything else. Tried uninstall and reinstall. That didn't help. Bad programming if you ask me. iCamcorder seems to work better and has all of the same features now including 15fps. And the facebook upload actually works. I'm using it now. I think I will be sticking with that one for the time being.

Pretty cool. For 99 cents this app is something ppl have been waiting for. IPhone 3g users wanted video without having to spend $400 on a new phone with just a few new features. Yes this app needs some improvements but for such a low price it does show that our cameras can b upgraded to do videos. Lg phones have projectors and video and apple is showing they can create apps that do the same thing. Give them time to improve. It will come soon enough.

Great for what it is. I have to assume that this works by lowering the resolution of the photos the camera takes therefore giving the ability to fire more in rapid succession. The time limit probably comes from using up the 3G's available memory. So, I'm not sure it is possible to improve frame rate without sacrificing size even further, and the time limit is probably fixed. Anyway, it works great for what it is, and is definitely worth a buck. Thanks!

Why this app is really good. This app if by far the best video app I have ever had for the iPhone 3g. The quaility of the camcorder is just amazing. If you purchase this app, you will also get a few effects with it. The only problem is that you don't get all of the effects that there is. I think if your going to purchase this app you should be able to get all of the effects. either then that, this app is a five star.

Must have for 3G owners. I had never heard of this app until it showed up at the top of the top 25 paid apps list. It is definitely worth spending 99 cents to add decent video recording functionality that was sorely missing on non-3GS phones. Seems to work well so far on the low setting and it's easy to use too. It is a great feature to have when you need it. I look forward to future updates that, hopefully, make it even better like MMS capabilities.

Great app but could be amazing!. This is really cool. From what I understand a better fps rate is possible so it would be a nice upgrade to record at that speed, but considering it wasn't possible to record anything without a 3GS, great compromise. FB linking doesn't work, and you can't trim the video in the app (and no way to share from the photo library - the saved videos disappear when you hit the share button!). Fixing these elements would clearly make this a 5 star app in my view.

Awesome!. I don't know how they did this, or if it will even last on iTunes, because this basically gives the 3G the same basic functionality as the 3GS! Record video + audio, then export to Camera Roll. When you are playing from the camera roll, it gives you the same TRIM functions I think you get in the 3GS. This is great, and only .99! Super job guys.

Unbelievable.. Like some people below, I also have the problem of the rainbow lines and if the video doesn't have rainbow lines it plays in a slideshow-like form instead. However, another problem came to my attention and I was wondering if other ppl had the same problem as me. Whenever I try to upload a video to facebook, every time it says "video upload failed. Reason: video upload fail.". Come on. That's just ridiculous, because I've recorded multiple videos and now I am unable to share them. If you fix that I would give you a star, but right now this app is useless crap.

Nice!. I have never written a review but I had to say off all the apps I've downloaded, and I've downloaded tons (free and paid ones) this is by far the best. It's intutive, it does what it says and best of all it actually works! Not to mention the easiest transfer/sharing options I have seen on any application iPhone or otherwise; there I mentioned it :-))! Great! Awsome! Fantabulous! Get it! Now! Go ahead it's 99 cents for yikes sake!

Wonderful App!. After seeing it on CNET I just got this app for my iPhone 2G (16MB) and it works flawlessly. I'm not sure what the negative reviewers are talking about (although sometimes differnt iPhones act different). However, the app is a pleausre, the video is smooth, the audio syncs up perfectly and I can finally take video with my 2G iPhone! Big deal you have to view playback in the landscape mode - it's fine. This is definitely worth $0.99!

exceeds expectations. I tried another one but this works better on my 3G. It is almost as good as what I imagine it would be like if video was included in the first place. Just the frame rate is a bit slower but it's still worth it. The great part is that you don't have to wait for it to render, and the export allows you to include in the camera role for easy syncing. You can even trim the videos using the Apple tools. Best 99 cents I've spent on an app.

Great!. I have the 3GS and use this application for the effects! Very fun to use! So far I like it better than qik because I prefer the effects of ivideocamera. I will continue to keep both, however. And to the fool who says you can't pause! Read the DIRECTIONS! You can pause while recording! Stop being lazy and leaving negative reviews just because you can't figure something out.

Everything is great except the frame rate. The is going to be the absolutely must have app for the 2G and 3G iPhones. Finally the best feature of the 3GS is available to all. There seems to be few if any bugs in the initial release. No crashes so far, and even the ability to save to my camera roll. No idea why apple didn't make this software standard with the 3.0 software upgrade. Frame rate needs some work, and the features need to be ironed out properly. Access to my camera roll from within the app would be nice.

Love the update, But..... Nice how you can trim the video. Nice, but choppy at the start of recording, need to get the sound louder. Still got to give it 3 stars, it's like a race to find the best video application out there for my 2G iPhone, this seems to be to me #2 for now,.Not so much the best yet. If this application gets better I will change it from 3 stars to 5 stars. About the new update still choppy, even on low and I just got a 3G iPhone. I was all excited about the update, but a let down, sorry. I will keep my other video application on my front page. I thought this would be my number one.

Still perfect 4 me!. Been using this app for months now and it's still great. I don't know what some are talking about "bad video quality" I have recorded plenty and it looks great. Don't care about effects, I got this to record on my 3g. I did not get it as a toy. I love everything about this. Low cost, works and is easy to use. If you don't have a camera on your phone get this!

Wow. Finally!!. This app is truly amazing. I finally have a video camera on my iPhone 3G....WITHOUT JAILBREAKING!! This is an epic win for all non-3GS iPhone owners. The video quality is decent and audio is OK too. Save vids to camera roll and share vids on social network sites. This app ROCKS!! It is so totally worth a dollar. IMO, it's worth more, so thanks to the developer for keeping the price low. Buy this app now, before it goes up in price! Even tho it's still way worth it at $2. I love my new video camera!!

20% battery remaining. The update is beautifulll. Love it. I was using it while running low on battery and the "20% battery remaining" message came up, when watching the video I noticed the message had been recorded as well, it kind of ruined the video, I know this is not so likely to happen since that message only comes up once, but it might be something you'd wanna check out, once again JOB WELL DONE. Thanks and I'll be waiting for that 15fps update(:

Works perfectly.. Maybe it's not working for some others because they don't have the latest software update (3.1) but I haven't had any problems with it. Loads smoothly and I can email a video right when I'm finished making it. I love that I can also save it to the camera roll, from where I can trim it. I am pleasantly surprised that they are generous enough to only charge 99cents. :)

Great start. Works very well, just had to clear some room on the iPhone so I have enough time to record. Works easily, exports quickly and took good quality videos even in some low light and mixed lighting conditions. The only thing missing right away is a zoom function up to about 3x, and I've noticed others have some effects you can apply to videos. So far, though, very happy with this app!

Nice v1.0. A steal at this price... This is the only video app at the moment, and for the a first cut, its well worth the $.99. A few fixes, a few of the enhancements alreay requested elsewhere and yet to be asked for, and this is easily a $5-$10 app. A hint; for more recording time and avoiding freezes... use one of the apps which frees up memory ($2.99 buys you a really good one) just before you start using this, and you get longer recording times and avoid freezes.

Still needs enhanced FPS. DEVELOPERS!!!!!!, FIX COMPRESSION OF VIDEO!!! A 5 SECOND VIDEO ON QiK VIDEO RECORDER = 490 KB, A 5 SECOND VIDEO ON IVIDEO RECORDER= 1.3MB. ( Emailing VIdeo takes too long with your app.) Please enhance the FPS in the next update. The 10 FPS is not bad in low quality mode but you guys need to go to the maximum FPS allowed by apple!!! At least 20 FPS for both high/ low quality would probably suffice. Please update the app page like you did prior to last update to advise us if you will further enhance the FPS. The high quality mode picture is better but the video is way too laggy with the audio. Please fix.

Not bad, could use some more fine tuning though. For those of us still using the old 3G phone, this app is a nice addition to the phone. While it's not full on video, it does the job...sort of. Video is quite choppy and does freeze from time to time but I see that these guys are working on an update that will hopefully fix that. Until you can get a 3GS or whatever new iphone is coming out, this app should hold you over until that time for your video recording needs.

Take great videos, but don't share them. It has a lot of effects, filters, etc., BUT when you want to share your videos to the many different websites, it gives the ever so helpful error: "Video failed to upload. Reason: Video upload fail." Seriously, what kind of error message is that. Obviously it failed to upload, but why would be nice to know. Honestly, I was excited about all the things this camera could do and now I am just disappointed. I guess it's still nice to have when you can show someone the videos in person...

Finally. Perfectly usuable for 2G/3G iPhones. Of course the 3G S is much better, but if your not ready to buy a 3G S, and your longing for video recording for your old 2G/3G, this is the must get APP for 2010. UPDATE: Facebook addicts need to stop the low rating of this app. You get to record video with audio for .99 cents. The quality is amazing for a 2G/3G phone. So please stop the childish complaining. Perhaps the author should just remove Facebook upload directly from the app to shut these babies up.

Worth Every Penny...!. ...all ninety-nine of them. This app does not have the speed or quality of the 3GS video camera. However, your 2G/3G phone also doesn't have the processor, memory or camera to handle that quality anyway. Which, is why there was no video camera to begin with. These folks have created an excellent retrofit for our phones (even better than the jailbroken apps I've tried). If you want a very functional video camera app for your "older" iPhone: buy this.

vs qikvideo. i tried both of them and make a lot of tests (sound, video, time, cappabilities).... this app is better at size, frame rate and share plus it has landscape and portrait the only thing that qik is better its that it saves the vids faster but who cares if ur vids look like a laggy videogame.... my final choise after both is this one so dont waste money on Qik video buy this one its definnetely better.... please make more updates maybe more frame rate, zoom, or effects thx

Whaaaaat. pple actually let this through? I can't beleive it. They usually don't allow open minded options like this. Next we just need an app that can delete all text msgs at once like every other cell made in the last ten yrs, instead of 1 at a time! Pretty sad that the 1st 2 most advanced phones on earth didn't come w/video. I'm completly shocked & wouldnt be surprised if they remove it later but I hope not!

This app is Great!. It's a great video recorder w/sound. And they're practically giving it away at <$1. I would pay much more. The Facebook thing is a small problem that I'm sure will get fixed but the mms thing is an Apple problem. Write Apple and tell them to release an update that allows 3G users to send saved videos. I'm giving it 5 stars even with the Facebook problem because the price is soooo right. Get it!

Come on guys UPDATE!!!. I've just bought the iCamcorder today just to try it out and see what all the hype was about and now I see what they meant, it's far better and has excellent quality and also nice effects which looks beautiful on video, this videorecorder comes no where near that and as a customer of this  i got to say it but y'all have your work cut out for you to compete with them Good Luck  Your goining to need it

Great app!!! V1.1. I used this app for a few hours and instantly once I played the video back I knew this was it! I like that u can save the video to ur iPhone picture roll and veiwing the video in there with the same video scrolling the iPhone uses for the 3Gs. This app literally changed my iPhone 3G into a 3GS for only 99 cents. What it needs is slightly smoother landscape mode video playback. Landscape mode makes video choppy. It would be nice if the quality was similar to portrait mode.

Exceptional Video. I will agree with those who are complaining about the facebook thing. Although, that does not sway my vote. There is ways around getting your video to Facebook. I have managed to do it, others can too. I think that people who are just here to be critics should have just upgraded to the 3GS and paid $99 more than us who just paided $.99. So I thank the creator of this video app. Well done. Thanks

WAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY BETTTER!!!. This update made me unhack my iPhone 3G! Cycorder still has 5fps more but this allows easy sharing and choice of video recording options. I also have "Camcorder" which I was testing to see which app would turn out the best and after this update it makes "Camcorder" look terrible. Way to go! Keep the fps improvements coming! I never wanted a 3GS especially now! Saving my upgrade for the 4G in Spring.

Great but severely broken. This app makes my 3g into a webcam-quality video recorder. It has lots of export options as well so I can use my videos where and when I want instead of how apple decides. Good stuff. The only hinderance is that an advertized feature that many find absolutely important is broken. That would be facebook sharing. The process probably works in and upon itself, but nobody can get past the Facebook Connect screen. The popup cannot be clicked, and you instead click behind it. If this app can get a fixed login screen for Facebook, I'd gladly raise my rating to 4 or 5 stars. It's actually worth it.

Best value add 2g iPhone app. Yes I'm still on a 2G iPhone. I allow my wife to have our 3G because my main thing are PCs. So I use mine for checking email, surfin, calls, some pics and a mix of fun apps for the kids and some utilities for me like remote PC control or webcam monitoring. This iVidcam is the best application so far because it adds functionality to my device that otherwise I'd have to have another device for. It run smooth and hasn't crashed. If I can figure out how to use it to act as a webcam then I'll give it 5 stars.

Wooo Hooo!!. Video recording on my 3G! Sure, it's a bit choppy..and I wish it was more "frames per second". But it's capability is fine for catching stuff on the fly. I like that I can choose a higher resolution. The simple and immediate ability to export to your camera roll is great. Nice, clean UI and a perfect icon. Yeah. This will do fine. I can wait on the 3GS becoming a $99 phone when Apple pulls it's next "upgrade" stunt. As for the silly compass - sorry Apple, that was never much of an enticement. (Nor is "improved speed" via a lame network.)

More fps and update!. Needs more fps so that it's not so choppy. Would like to be able to zoom in and out too. But all in all this is well worth the price. Update... Well I would figure there would be an update on the app by now to keep up with the other video apps. Where is the higher frames per second? And effects? Come on guys I am about to buy another app and delete this one to get the other stuff. Please dont let that happen.

Awesome update!. The update was awhile in getting here, but worth the wait. More features than I expected. Uploads to Facebook without a hitch. Quality of video better than I expected on my 3G. Haven't tried on my wife's original iPhone yet. Turn your iPhone into a video camera for a buck?Why wouldn't you buy this? This app will soon be back at the top of the charts! Thank you Laan Labs!

Totally Awesome!!!. I have been looking for a long time for a video camera app for the iPhone, and I finally decided to buy this one to check it out because hey, what's $1? Best $1 I ever spent on an app! The ability to upload the videos to Facebook is a great feature that everyone will enjoy! If something happens and you wish you would have had a video camera, then I sugesst you buy this app!

Love itt!!. I love this app and the people that are having problems with it stopping recording after 3 seconds that was happening to me too..this is what I did..ok so first see what resolution you are on..high or low..and then you switch to the opposite one and that worked for me. Cuz that used to happen to me and then I changed the resolution and problem solved!  hopefully this works and if it doesn't I'm sorry! 

I don't get the complaints.... I got this app because a friend had it. I have a 3GS iPhone. I recorded a few videos while on a trip with my boys. I was able to send the shorter one to my wife via email and I posted a minute long video on my FaceBook account (yes it took several minutes to upload). The video & sound quality is acceptable for a phone and a 99 cent app. It would be nice to have a pause button but if I want better quality, I will carry a video camera around with me everywhere I go.

Waited so long on that!. I have many applications, and never wrote any review before. I was waiting on that video recording since I remember!!! So happy to have it! And it was only a dollar :-) I'm sure updates will come soon, one thing I would like to see updated is option to see all my movies saved in application, they are saved in camera roll but no option to send them to others :-/ besides that great job guys! I love your stuff! You rock!

Best app I ever bought since I got my iPhone. Never felt like reviewing any apps I bought I felt like they were crappy and I didn't wanted to waste my time but this app is way past greatness I'll give it 5 stars if I could I would give it 100 stars this app has no problems at all... Why buy a 3gs if u can get the same for 99cents...... I wouldve paid 10$ for this Great app and a great deal I'm a happy customer = >

Getting much better.... I bought this app, since I don't have 3GS, to record video clips. Started at 3 fps, and short record time. Now it's so much better both quality and time. But I have one major gripe. If the movies I record approach 1 min or more I have no sound. Don't know what's up with that but it's disappointing. The share feature is nice since it doesnt require wifi but can run slow as a result. Major improvements, definitely worth the .99 to buy, but fix that sound issue please and my rating will be much better!

Camera for 3G. Will capture video and audio and allow save to camera roll. 24 seconds is about 5 Mg in file size so emailing takes a moment or two to send over WiFi. After email, the MOV file doesn't play in iTunes or Quicktime, just the audio does. I don't upload to the other options or services so can't speak for them. Would like to have the email problem fixed so I can export (via email) to other friends. Plays well on iPhone for both picture and sound. Still worth the price to get a video recorder on the 3G ~

Ehh.... I used qikvideo for awhile but I found it wouldn't let me send or post my videos and decided to look and see if there was something better out there. Came across ivideo camera which allowed me to send my videos. I like everything about it except for the fact that it won't allow more then 12 seconds even on low quality. Qikvideo recently updated its product to where I can send my videos now. Qikvideo allows much more video recording time. I now prefer to use qikvideo but ivideo isn't bad for .99 cents.

Wow!. This app was so-so before the update, but now absolutely incredible. There is no advantage to using high quality because of the lowered frame rate. But the 10fps low quality mode is great. I've had other phones with "video cameras" and this app puts out the same, if not better quality video, with easy sharing and the trimming features of the 3.0 update. Keep the updates coming!

Great app. It's so easy to make and share videos. Perfect for youtubers and anyone who loves to videorecord memorable events. The video quality is good and the app is only 0.99$. There is no limit on record time in low res which looks just fine for most usages. The only drawback is the sound doesn't always come through clearly. The app is not perfect but it is highly recommended to anyone undecided-you won't regret it.
