Well done!. Easily the simplest way to add/drop color/greyscale from a photo. TIP: once you've taken out the grey/color you want, make sure to mess wth the other options (Shadows, brightness..etc.) for infinite different looks and feels to your photo!

Does EXACTLY what I was looking to do. I'm very happy to have found this app. It's easy to figure out and use. The short, five-screen tutorial tells you everything you need to know to get started right away. You have complete control over every step you take, and the zoom allows you to make very finely detailed changes. I highly recommend it!

The Best!!! Seriously.. I was so pleased with Juxtaposer’s simple yet powerfully amazing UI that buying Color Splash was and still is a no-brainer! The only difference between the two apps is that this one uses the same UI to color or “uncolor”, so to speak, instead of erasing and “unerasing”. Like Juxtaposer, you can zoom in to edit pictures pixel by pixel rendering professional quality images that’ll have your friends and family begging for copies! You’ll be glad to know you saved an arm and leg by purchasing this app because there is nothing better. I’ve spent the money and I regret not having Color Splash and Juxtaposer in my previous repertoire. I will be following these developers indefinitely as I am eager to see what ways they can apply the same ingenuity to other photo editing angles/aspects in the future. Thank you Pocket Pixel Inc. once again! You are the best!

This is a great photo editing app!. Overall it is a fantastic app! I use it with all of my landscape pictures using the gray and color features of the app! I recommend getting this app if you do photography, even if you don't I would still recommend this app to you! I would rate it 10/10 if I could!

More of a coloring book. I wanted my picture to be in black and white which this app did do that. But, I wanted red lips. You basically have to color in the red lips. I looked like a clown trying to do this. It’s impossible and it doesn’t look natural. Don’t recommend this app if you are going fir a black and white photo with a pop of color on your face. One star for me.

The One.... I really love this app. I've used it for years. During that time, other photo editing and enhancement apps have come and gone from my phone, but Color Splash has been the one that I've held on to consistently. Plus, I love the timely updates to the most recent phone formats. It's nice to see a developer showing love to their users long after we've purchased the product. It's rare in today's app store.

Makes me believe in creative apps on the iPhone. This app is incredibly intuitive at the one task it is meant to. It's all manual but the controls are incredibly simple with zero learning curve and it makes the task almost meditative

Color splash. Been using this app for about 5+ years now. For someone that doesn’t have Photoshop, this app works wonders. I absolutely love it. Easy to use and understand, it’s a must have for photographers

Simple, easy, with depth of expression. One need not pay for flamboyant apps when color splash will do all that you need done!

Not as shown. When you look at it before buying, it looks as if you can just tap to change colors, but this is not the case! It’s like trying to color, and it comes out like a four year old and looks terrible. I’m hoping I’m just doing something wrong, but I’ve looked at everything.

THE BEST. The best and always has been. I’ve used this for years along with others for a while but I deleted all of the others. The red overlay is so cool and makes it super easy to see where you’re brushing. One tab adds color in, the other brings thing back to black and white in case you made a mistake. Zoom in for precision work. What more can you want.??? Get it.

THE BEST! PERIOD!. I have been using this app for years. Whether it be for a quick, 30 second image for my family or a detailed, professional image for a project I am working on, this app delivers every time! I have tried over the years different apps but this one continues to be the easiest and best looking out there. I only wish I could submit examples of images I have created to show anyone can replicate them for a profound effect!

Amazing!!. I was surprised at how easy this app is, especially compared to the end result. I've used this site several times and friends love it. In fact, they are surprised that I am such an ace at photoshopping. Ha! Now they are using it as well! Good job!

Great app. Easy to use. Does exactly what it says. The only thing I wish this had were other photo editing features. Like smoothing out blemishes or liquifying pixels or curve and light because you still have to use other apps in addition to this. Oh well.

Fantastic app. This does exactly what it says it does – and is very easy to use. In addition to being able to single out items on a photo in color, there are decent photo editing tools to make the picture more dramatic. What takes it to five stars IMO is the fantastic video you get on first use of the app. So easy to understand, and a great overview of how to use the app. Well done.

Easy to use. I just switch red mode on and off for precision editing and turn on the brush in settings and easily edit pictures 😀 Great app for low price.

Dynamite App. Thoroughly taken with the ease of operation and capacity of this App. Down loaded it, followed the tutorial (though it's so user friendly I probably could have worked without that), splashed a photo I had been holding onto for awhile, and posted it to Instagram (where it has been well received), all in about an hour. Can't beat results like that!

Very nice and simple. Makes color splash easy down to intricate detail. Wondering though what happened to your app BlurFX. Loved that app but it’s no longer on the App Store and won’t open anymore saying it needs an update for the new iOS. Can we get one more update? That app worked just as well as this one, easy, clean and very detailed. Disappointed to see that go. ETA: nevermind about the other app. Thanks for the reply.

Spectacular!. The app is very easy to use, no complications. The features in the app is of course fantastic; I would certainly recommend this app for taking amazing shots and share them on social media.

Old features missing. Missed the old UI. It was so much better and easier where i can select an area of color n it would color in the rest of the picture with the color i selected. This new UI makes u work harder to color in smaller details like peddle of roses 🌹.

Incredible.. Once you get the hang of this (which does not take long, and is fun to learn), it's astoundingly easy to use and so many fun pictures come out of it!

One of my all time favorite apps. I bought this app about 10 years ago when the App Store first launched. Even when I left iOS a few years ago I couldn’t find another app that worked so effortlessly as this one. I love this app. All I ask is that you develop an iPad version. Edit: Wait, I’m just now seeing that. Instant buy.

Best app ever. Terrific fun with amazing results. Well worth the small price. The only thing I can think of that would make it better would be the addition of a very thin brush to use around tight edges that may exist even when the picture is "blown up" to its maximum size. But otherwise Color Splash is excellent.

ColorSplash is still a delight to use!. ColorSplash for iPhone is awesome. It is simple to use after you watch the introductory videos that come with it. ColorSplash for iPhone will work on an iPad too, but I highly recommend buying ColorSplash for iPad to use on an iPad. Its dedicated interface is easier to use. If you have an iPad with no camera I recommend using the PhotoSync app to transfer photos among your iPhone, iPad and Windows or Mac computer. Get the iPhone AND iPad ColorSplash apps. You'll love them!

One of my favorite apps for years. Couldn't be more pleased with the results. Definitely a favorite. I'm been asked many times what app I used. I’ve done hundreds of these over the years. Love them all.

Amazing. It’s one of those apps that I don’t want to share with anyone. I’ve created some amazing photos using this app. I’ve had it for a while but now that I have a better phone the photos are coming out even better.

Awesome. This is awesome app the best cheap app on the app store. Just a pointer to everyone out there if you want full resolution photos then just email them to your iPhone and save the photo to your images. So when you connect back to iTunes the photo is great.

Worth every cent. After just a small amount if playing with this app you end up with great results. I import pics to play with and the results are brilliant. Crop function would be handy in future update but the low price and brilliant results deserve the 5 stars. Look forward to updates making this app 6 stars.

Wow! Great app!!. What a great little app! I've had some very cool results :) I recommend changing the settings so the brush is visible and the brush slider is on, that way you can get the small brush for around the edges and delicate work. Some people pay pros to do this to their photos, not anymore! 5 stars from me.

Better than photoshop (sort of)!. This app has to be the best one I have. Even out of all the games and other apps I easily use this one the most. It's endless fun for editing pictures. Better than other photo editing apps. Being able to use your finger makes it so awesome. The only thing I could suggest is adding a few more features like sepia tone and blur or something. Otherwise the best app I've gotten yet. So worth the money, I'd even pay $20 for this coz its just that good.

Simplicity and poetry for photo effects. I just love it. I have some further ideas: perhaps a second screen (after the initial coloring) which allows for the background image to be aliased into a second photo.

Easy to use!!!!!. Did all it said it would. So easy to use I'm left wanting more when I'm done. This app rocks! I did notice when I used the red select feature that if I colored different parts in on seperate places on a photo that the colors kind of mixed! Example: I had a photo of my daugter who was wearing a pink shirt. I colorized the pink part, her hat and some other small items. When I switched to tv actual color mode everything had a pink glow! And since i've noticed the same effect on other photos. It is not in the original photo! I gave this a five. The complains I have are minor compared to the ease if use and results you get with this app. Worth it every step of the way!!

Best Photography App in a While. I've been using this app for the past week and the artwork you can make is beyond imagination, I suggest getting this app if you like to brighten up your pictures or just to decorate them. It's not a waste of money, and is real cheap for an app with such talent.

Really great app. Have a opption to the remove the pop up to continue your session cus I like to start new ones and I guess others do aswell I suggest make a promotional video on your other application like what it does and how to use it. Cus people would buy it if they know what's it about

Just great. This is one off the best aps out there well worth the price the free one you can't zoom this you can. Also the videos on how to use the app amazing I think my blind dog could use this ap with videos like that. Keep up the good work just a great ap

Great App. This app is excellent, once you watch the tutorial vids and get a feel for the pinch zoom and other features its incredibly easy to use. Its actually alot of fun editing your pics. Would highly recommend this app to anyone, well worth the small cost.

Value for money. Watch the tutorial videos, he has made it really easy to understand and use. Having lots of fun, haven't tried uploading to Facebook or emails yet.

BRILLIANT. At the end of the day when all the kids are in bed I'll sit down and mess around with color splash and often post the final product on FB which attract many positive comments, I'm looking forward to putting some of my hi res DSLR pics on my iPhone and seeing what I can do with them. Amazing. I was reluctant to buy this app because I've had some pretty crappy photo apps, but colorsplash doesn't follow suit. For starters the tutorial makes it so easy to get started, and is In video making it quick and they are easy to follow as well. Within 5 minutes I felt confidient with using the app to it's full potential and coming out with some pretty good looking pics. I highly recommend this app to anyone. It Is awesome

Work of art!. So simple but looks like a professional photo! My secret from all my friends! The effects are amazing! Doesn't need anymore features but yeah it would be cool if there were. BUY IT

Easy as. Great app for the price. Easy to use with great looking results. Also does a great job on pics which may have been heading for the bin. The info videos are real helpful to novices like myself, as we are not all "expert" photo buffs.

Excellent. Love this App, have this since 2007, have used this on all my iPhones 3G, 3GS, 4G, 4GS and tried this with iPad and iPad 2 too and it's excellent, now that I have The new iPad, will be installing this too, just hope you also have this App for iPad. That's the only disadvantage of this App, it is small and I have to press the X2 to make screen big enough to fit. Awesome!!!

Best and Easiest App. I've always wanted to use programs such as photoshop but i could never get it right because they are so hard to use. But Colour Splash is so simple to use and it does exactly what i want to make some parts colour and some in grey, EASY!

Simple and effective. There's a million complicated photo apps around but this is just easy to use and gives you a great effect.

Love it! But it can be a bit of a pain in the a$&!. I think the app is great. The pictures look amazing when you finish. Actually completing the pictures isn't the easiest and it can be a bit annoying. Especially when your a perfectionist and there are lil' bits of the picture that you don't want to be color. Maybe you could create a pen that we can buy to use for the app? We could use the pen for the edges and the tight spots. Otherwise this app is great. I love it! Worth the $1....

Awesome. The best photo editing app out there. Anything is possible cause of the zoom. Also every situation is covered with the ability to change the picture to red and white. The controls are also great. Good work guys

What a great little app!!. To those reviewers who found it hard to use; you must be stupid cos this only requires some 'playing' with to learn how to use it. Failing that there are heaps of tutorials built in so if you have trouble using it, it's your own fault. I used it on some dslr pics in my iPhone and it did a great job. Prefer to use a stylus to make things easier but works equally well without one. For the money it's a great little app that is fun and easy to use with very nice results.

amazing app. I come across this app by accident (while using AppSniper). It is really stable and well coded app. Before tempting to start straight away, just spend a minute or two watching the tutorial video, esp the first one. Well done. Good to see some well price, well design and stable app amongst the so many junk app.

Awesome!!!. I love this ap, it is so easy to use once you get the hang of it and it only takes a couple of minutes to make something that looks really professional. I colour splashed some photos and uploaded them to facebook and got so many positive coments about them, this is definately the best photography ap I have brought!

Love this program ... I have been doing a red rose photo of my granddaughter every year around her birthday since she was a toddler. All colour gone except for the big red rose. She turned 15 last week and we have a fabulous set of photos showing her growing up. Thank you

The bar has been raised. Awesome!! Apple should Just pay you guys a quadzillion dollars and include this app with every iPhone they sell!! Worth every cent. 6 stars if I could! Results are adobe photoshop standard. Here's one minor issue ( no, I don't care for cropping, I do that before or after importing my pics ). My problem is with the stupid auto rotate. You zoom right down to the pixel to fine tune the edges, turn your iPhone around as you're happily fingering away....and whoosh!!! The image rotates and screws up your orientation. At that zoom level, it's kinds hard to tell where you are and have to zoom out again. Please set an option for turning auto rotation on/off. But as I said, hugely understated and underpriced app.

Easy & Fun. After taking the tutorial, I was able to understand the App's full capability & ease of use...I love the overall outcome of the colour contrast effect...I would recommend this App to anyone who enjoys hobby photography, but wants an effect that looks like it would have taken a 'professional' hours on the computer to produce! Outstanding. This application is truly awesome. Simple yet comprehensive. Packed with smart features and works with ease. The tutorials help greatly in explaining things that might not be so obvious or to clear up any queries. Watch the videos. They're perfect. The developer obviously takes pride in his work and it shows in this app. It does exactly what it says and is brilliant. If you're hesitant about buying, try the other colour apps here (free). You'll quickly see that they are very limited and the ads don't help. Rather disappointing really. I hesitated at first and tried the free ones but was ultimately disappointed. I bought this app and it's fantastic. Seriously worth the $ as the developer spends time making it an app worth downloading. Go on, join in the Colorsplash family. It's seriously good value and heaps of fun. Congrats to the developer. Good work -keep it up!!!

Fantastic app. The concept is simple, yet the results can be absolutely beautiful. This app is very easy to use, particularly after watching the three quick tutorials. Really good!!!. really fun and easy to use, my pictures look great, but could you possibly add an update that allows you to change the colour of the thing you keep coloured, eg. if I had the option to be able to change a blue jumper I am wearing to another colour like yellow or orange? that would be really good, but it is a great app. thanks

Best app ever. For those of yoi thinking you can color any object a different colour...wrong...it is so that you can change the background and pop a certain object out with color...when you color it in red that is just to see where you have colored... You can only use the colors that were on the orginal pic...u can't change the objects color....the app icon shows a GREEN apple because that was the color of the apple in real life...they just black and white the background

Buy twice??. I purchased this on my iPhone not realizing that the iPad app is the same price but has to be bought separately. The app itself works and is very good for what it’s intended for. Developer should allow users to download on all their devices not have to pay again.

Precise on the fly editing!!!. Just download it. It is extremely acurate, easy to use, and efficient. It's not just for black and white or red. The douche that said that obviously never read the instructions. It also allows you to invert color schemes with the push of a button!!!! Perfect...absolutely perfect! Thank you developers.

Amazing. Bought this and was not disappointed. Everything is amazing. But what would make it better in my opinion is if you could change the original colour of the picture. Like when you are colouring it. I love it even without that though, but that what would make it even more amazing.

So easy to use!. 5 Stars - super easy to use and quick to learn. After watching the included tutorial, I was up and running in 5 minutes. Fun to copy photos from my iphoto onto my iphone just to enhance them. And because you use your finger, which is far more precise than a mouse, the iphone is the perfect device to make these changes! Worth when you consider all of the photos you can play with. No bugs found yet.

Great app. This is a great app it's super easy to use and it looks really cool. You just need pictures with bright colours to get the best look. To change the brush setting just go to the main iPhone settings and go down to the coloursplash settings and you'll find everything you need. And for those who can't figure out how to change it from red have some patience before you write an offensive review

Everything need to be done manually. Awful I would hope you could automatically pick the color you want and isolate it but instead you have to color it in with your finger. :(
