Quit it APP. This is an excellent tool specifically for individuals who like to see progress. Turning to check an app for the amount of time you haven't smoked instead of reaching for another cigarette is quite a feeling. I highly recommend this app for anyone who has even thought of quitting smoking, you know for when you're ready to quit.
Fantastic. Wish this app had been available years ago. Maybe I would have quit then instead of 10+ attempts later. Especially enjoy the health info snippets & the count of days as non smoker. This is Motivating.. This really worked for me. The fact that I quit cold turkey was stressful for the first week. Checking this app and seeing the progress I was making daily was very motivating to me. It helped with the sticky points and it am enjoying seeing my changes and savings.

Terrific tool!. Great app to help quit smoking. Adjustable goals are super helpful. The addition of "slipping " is great as you're not thoroughly penalized for one cigarette. Love the app. Quitting has been a grind but this has definitely made it easier.
It did help me finally quit. I had tried this app along with a few different smoking cessation methods over the last three years. I don’t think I could have quit with just this app, but it definitely helped me along the way. I’m 24 days smoke free, which is the longest I’ve been without a cigarette in about 23 years.
3 months in. I’m 3 months quit but I still get the urges. I come to the app to see how many I have not smoked and how much money I’ve saved.

#1 helper for me to quit smoking. Every time I got an urge to smoke, even now 6 weeks later, I would look at this app see my progress, relate to how much better I feel as a non smoker and in that timeframe my urges would go away. After day 4 it started to get a lot easier and with this app by my side and a glass of pineapple juice in the morning I was able to do it. 6 weeks in and I purchased the full version today just because the makers of this app deserves the money for saving my life and money. Thank you Quit It!!!!
One small change. This app is really well thought out and runs very smoothly. It has been an incredible support through an extraordinarily tough life change. With that being said, there is one thing that doesn't seem to make sense. In the goals section each item is listed affordable based upon how much is saved by not buying cigarettes. However, it does not take in to consideration the cost of each goal. Which will make a difference as to when each goal will actually be affordable. For example, let's say I'm saving $5 a day from not smoking. Let's say my first two goals cost $15 and $30 respectively. After three days I will be able to afford the $15 goal. It will take an ADDITIONAL six days (a total of nine days) to afford the second goal. I like that it is organized by cost. One step at a time, small goals first, building to bigger goals. But there must be a way to make it more realistic based upon not just the money saved by not smoking, but also taking into account the saved money SPENT on each goal item. Thank you for you time and consideration. More importantly thank you for creating this incredibly supportive app.
Excellent App. I finally did it! I am smoke and nicotine free for a month after many years of being addicted. I love this app as it gives great info and keeps track of how much bad stuff you are no longer introducing into your body and lets you know the health benefits of not smoking. Love the $$$ tally too!
This app is an amazing motivator!. I started smoking at age 40 and smoked for 20 years. And the problem with quitting was I loved to smoke. But, I realized for my health - I HAD TO STOP. After many failed attempts, I decided this had to be it. So, I determined my quit date to be one that I could easily remember, and celebrate - July 4th. Great app.. Really good tool to motivate and help keep track of the horrible process of quitting smoking. Every little bit of motivation helps. I've been quit for a year and a half, and have tracked my progress the entire time on this app. I've save over $3,000 so far by not smoking.
Latest update reset the app. To be fair, this app was awesome and helped me see the benefits because I was a heavy smoker. It has been a 5 Star app until the most recent update completely wiped my 4 years of not smoking and benefits which helped me help others quit and great to show my doctors. A reset app means I delete this off my phone, that’s really unfortunate.

Love the Additional Info. I appreciate this app since it lets you choose how you see the time passed, how many cigs you’ve not smoked, and how much money you save. My favorite feature? The health benefits as you get further and further away from your last cigarette. It’s nice that this app doesn’t just count time and cigarettes. I don’t use the Goals feature, but I think that could be beneficial to some people. No ads? No cost? Fantastic!

Perspective is everything. Quit It provides the perspective you need to create tangible positive results from quitting smoking in the form of data. The data becomes a motivator to continue down the path of remaining a non-smoker. Alcohol has the twelve step program... well smoking has the Quit It app.

I Quit!. I have attempted smoking cessation for 50 years. I downloaded this app with very little faith that it could help me quit. However, the information it provides is positive, let’s me view what health stage I am at and offers positive support by informing me how much time has lapsed since my last cigarette. Great App. So helpful to actually see progress, money saved and especially the number of cigarettes NOT smoked. It's a different perspective when you realize 7 cigarettes a day (not that bad, right?) is actually 60 (!) in under 9 days!!! The money savings is pretty powerful too. Monthly cost adds up to a massage membership which is a lot better for me than smoking! (I smoked American Spirits, organic-super pricy).

Best quitting smoking app. Honestly had tried quitting smoking with vaping and other methods. This app teamed with true determination and for the first time in my life I’ve actually been able to say I’m cigarette and nicotine free completely. Great incentive. For me the visual aspect of this app has really reinforced the quit for me! After many failed attempts with quitting smoking cigarettes and NRT’s I had to change my outlook and obsession. A friend used this app and she posted the results on Facebook at her 1 year. Nice and simple. Its a nice and simple tracking app. Although I have one minor technical code suggestion. In Settings make ‘Slipped’ timestamp (which fetches current timestamp) sync to ‘Date’ rather than making user to manually set date.

Tracking how much $ I’ve saved is a big incentive for me personally. Good app to help you quit. I love the status it gives you for health, money saved, cigs not smoked. The only thing I would add is daily reports of the changes your body is going through. It does give you some and it's great. Or a daily motivation would be really helpful.
Good luck!. My boyfriend was a pack a day, Marlboro red smoker since the age of 15 (he'll be turning 40 at the end of September). Thanksgiving of 2014 I downloaded this app and he's a smoked since!! It's encouraging and exciting to see the money saved and the positive effects it's doing to your health. Absolutely Love Quitit. I started using this app last year when I quit smoking for 7 months and 2 days. The money saved and the days quit were great to see as time moved on. I am currently at 2 months and 8 days, WooHoo!!! Quit it-stop smoking. I'm really happy with the app. I have smoked for 40 years and this is the first time I've really not chipped or cheated. Fantastic reminder. This app has really come a long way since its first versions. It allows you to gain prospective on your tobacco use and the metrics it provides really paints a deep picture on the negative aspects of using tobacco but at the same time encourages you quit and stay quit by highlighting all the benefits from stopping including money, amount of cigs not smoked, tar, nicotine, and carbon monoxide as well as health benefits you are re-gaining in your life everyday you don't smoke. I highly recommend it.

My urges to smoke are gone, completely. Seriously. This was by far the best thing I've ever done for myself. Quit today because one year from now, you'll wish had.
Really helpful. I'm a smoker for 5 years. Tried to quit and found this app. I love it. I'm only on day 2 but it's so much easier because I have progress I can see any time I want. I can just watch the clock if I want to. I don't fully understand the goals section that I just paid $0.99 for. Also, a little craving button would be nice for extra support. If you upgrade it's easy to adjust your progress so it has accurate time.
Motivational information. Enjoy the health information, little motivational messages, goals and accomplishments. You have to want to quit first for anything to help but once your committed this is just another little tool that will motivate you too stay away from cigarettes. The Apple Watch feature is added bonus

Only dislike is the big easy "start over" button in the app, should put it in a less accessible place so it's not staring you in the face. Otherwise wouldn't change a thing! Thanks to the dev(s)!
9 days away from a year smoke free!. I just want to thank the developers for creating such an amazing product. I've been smoking since I was 16. I'm turning 30 next month. I have always wanted to quit but nothing worked. Turns out, I needed some sort of visual motivation. That's exactly what this app did for me. Seeing the days turn into months, and months turn into a year has been the single most motivating thing to keep me smoke free. Love Love Love this app!

Much needed app!. I'm 33 years old and have been smoking since I was 15. I only stopped during pregnancy/nursing my two children and started right back up again. American spirit menthol lights were my guilty pleasure. I hated that I was smoker but actually loved to smoke. I've quit now for a week and feel like I have moments that my head in going to spin around twice. Then other moments I basque in the glory of feeling healthier when I breathe. And feeling less winded to run up a flight of stairs. Keep up the will power, it gets easier with everyday. I promise :)
Great App!!. I found this app to be very motivating once I had made the decision to quit. I don't think it would be as helpful if I had needed help choosing to quit smoking or if I wanted to cut back slowly instead of cold turkey. I do wish there were more frequent and a greater variety of achievement levels. I'd also like more stats on how my health is improving.
Very helpful. I used patches to quit. However, as a tool to keep you motivated after that, it is amazing. I have made it a little over a month and when it gets tough and I craving I just open this app and remind myself how bad it is for me and how much my health has improved so far! Love it!
good app. it's a really good app and very informative. I just wish it was an app for those of us who aren't quitting cold turkey. I don't like that it makes you start all over if you mess up and have one cigarette. also wish it would let you put in the times you smoke. so that it has a more accurate count thoughout the day of how many cigarettes and how much money you have saved at that exact moment. all in all I can see how it would help.

Great App!. I love this app! I downloaded it last year with my first quit attempt. After falling back into my habit I kind if forgot about the app. I opened it one day and saw how many cigarettes I would have Not smoked and said OMG! I quit 15 days ago and watch the health part start to add up. My money add up and so far the 374 cigarettes I did NOT smoke! Great app and worth the upgrade to calculate your goals
Quit It app has kept me motivated!. This is a simple app that is easy to use. In real time, you are able to monitor your progress and set $ goals with the money you save by not smoking. Found this especially useful in the first weeks after quitting, when I needed to be reminded the benefits of quitting.
It's a positive note during an arduous task. Quitting is in no way fun at all. This app at least gives you positive reinforcement and lets you realistically see the fruits of your labor. For those serious about quitting I highly recommend this app. 3 months 21 days and counting. By far the longest I've gone and saved over $1,700 bucks! (Yeah the app told me that :-P)
Good app. Allows you to calculate exactly how much you are saving based on price per pack, amount of cigs per pack (useful for clove smokers I suppose) and amount usually smoked per day. Also, the health tidbits are informative. Only wish the Facebook integration actually worked. Oh well. Still, pretty useful when having a craving to look and see "Oh, I've saved $156 dollars in just two weeks... Hmmmm... Bet I could go longer." Just another tool to add to the non-smokers tool box I suppose?
Love Quitit!!!. I love love love this app!! I even upgraded! I'm currently on day 10 of quitting, I had smoked for the past 8or9 years) and I find this app is awesome for motivation, if I ever get a craving I just look at my time and I get so proud, that feeling will quash any craving anytime!! The health benefits and goals are also really great to keep you motivated! I can honestly say I will not be smoking again!!
I love this app!. I even upgraded it is so good! I like watching the days and money add up. The health goals are good and make me feel better along the way! I have another app that also counts seconds, it helps to watch those tick by, especially during cravings!
Great for the start, fun in the long run. This app is a great tool at the start. It gives constant reminders of the healing your body goes through during the detox process. On top of the notices of milestones, the preset financial savings from quitting really get me going. The only thing I don't like about it is that all the perks and milestones fade out quickly after 5 days. More health perks, notices of number of cigarettes not smoked (or even better, change it to packs after 200 and cartons after 1000), and milestone notices of flat dollars saved would be awesome.
Great app after quitting. This has been a great app after quitting. There are some good looking apps out there that help you quit, and this one helps you stay off. (I didn't use one, myself, but when I found this I found another app that would have been great! I couldn't do patches of vaping, so I opted to cut back progressively for a few months before quitting on my 30th birthday, and I saw an app designed for that.) This app, however, was absolutely worth the purchase. I bought it with the weight tracker. To the dev: I'd recommend more stuff. Maybe articles/links to articles? I go to this app whenever I get a craving, but more information would always help pass the craving time.
Quit It. This app absolutely got me through the first day until today. I decided to buy the app because it tells me more, but the best is time wasted smoking and number of cigarettes smoked. 2 years next month and thousands of cigarettes NOT smoked! Get this app!
Pretty Good. I like that the app keeps track of length one has quit smoking, money saved & cigarettes not smoked. It gives very general information about health improvements as they are supposed to happen but I would like to see the goals/rewards section improved upon. It's not user friendly and does not track how much or many rewards you can use. As you attain certain benchmarks you should know what you can reward yourself with and when you do you should have a sort of "total remaining" points or cash to know what you're working towards next. Overall pretty good app.
Great buddy to quit with!. This app is a wonderful buddy that reinforces my motivation to keep smoke free. I love seeing the amount of money I've saved and especially the health benefits. I would recommend it to anyone who is trying to quit. I'm already past the two month achievement with very little stress. I would feel like I'm failing my "buddy".
How free do you want to be?!?. Super grateful! I've been sober from drugs and alcahol for years, but cigerettes were the hardest to give up. I found checking my progress instead of smoking was helpful in those first 36 hours. Also, keeping busy, telling other people I was quitting, and exercising were really helpful. In the really tough moments, if ask myself "how free do I want to be?" The longer I don't smoke, the more freedom I have from the obsession, craving, and life limiting effects of a really powerful addiction. My sincerest good luck to you! How free do YOU want to be?!
Very Helpful. I quit smoking a week ago cold turkey and this app has helped me maintain my sanity just by keeping track of how much money I've saved. I was around 2 packs a day and I've already saved over $125. It is very encouraging to watch as the savings pile up. If your serious about quitting smoking this app is well worth having in your toolbox.
Great app!!. This app is great, love all that it does!! I wish it would maybe go more in depth about the health benefits on a daily basis, maybe even tell you you are going to feel disconnected and maybe when that will end, that sort of thing etc...
Great App. So far this app is perfect for me. Whenever I feel like giving in I take a look at how far I've come and it really helps strengthen my will. I can see how big the benefits really are. Id have never thought about it as 100 cigs a week until I saw how many cigarettes I've missed out on so far. I would like to see more health updates though.
Nice reaper stopper. Ok, I've made it 10 days. Great app for money saved. Just with the accomplishments would come sooner. A larger health benefits library is a must. Waiting 10 days for a change is kind of self defeating. Add "time added to life" and other little health things. There is plenty!!! Loads more. Do it for us struggling people that are at 10 days!! Great App. I really like this app. It has helped motivate me with its different trackers and goals. It also helps me keep track of how long I've quit, the amount of money I've saved and the amount of cigarettes not smoked. I love the health benefits and sometimes when I really want to smoke I will open the app and see how far I have come. I used the free version for over a year and then upgraded to the full version. I've never had it crash, delete my information, or not work! Great app!
Worked like a charm. I used this app in conjunction with the Alan Carr book and stopped nearly two months ago. No supplements replacements, etc. When the occasional pang crept up, I just pulled up the app and saw how far I'd come in just a short time. One suggestion: make the sharing option a little more robust - I'd like to be able to share specific benefits like health progress, etc.

I love this app!. I quit 25 days ago after way too many years of smoking. I look at the app multiple times a day to keep me motivated. I especially love getting 100% on the health milestones! I highly recommend it! I think it works better than any pill or patch I've tried.

Helpful "scoreboard" for progress. Man, I love cigarettes. Unfortunately, after smoking for half of my 31 years, they're not loving me back and it's time to move on. The health benefits are pretty well-documented, but this app covers your financial incentives as well. Think of it as giving yourself a nice raise. Definitely helpful during intense cravings to remind you how far you've come. Three of my friends used this app to quit, and it's helping me so far.
Just Quit. After smoking for many years I found it almost impossible to quit smoking. 2 weeks ago I found this app and started trying to quit, I would see the health percentage on how my lungs started to recuperate and it maid me want to just do better. I have not smoked for the past 4 days and I feel great.
3 and a half years strong. This app is a large part of the reason I am smoke free three and a half years after putting down my last cigarette. Regular encouragement and a clear visual of how long I've gone without smoking, what is happening with my body as it continues to heal, and how much money I've saved all worked to keep me from picking up another cigarette when a craving hit. I highly recommend this app for anyone serious about quitting smoking and staying quit.
This is a great app!. It's really working to help me stop smoking cigarettes! Every time I smoke one I go into the app and start over. every time I start smoking again, it makes me feel terrible but as I see the accomplishments like my nerve endings being restored to balance, it gets harder for me to want to start smoking again because I can literally see how much tar and poison I'm not putting in my body and how much money I'm saving. It's crazy. Love this app!!!
Good App to Help You Quit. Quit it helps you keep track of when you quit smoking, how much money you are saving, and what health benefits you are gaining. It is a fairly simple app, but provides good motivational support for you to stop smoking. It is also a plus that it has Apple Watch support!
Needs some extra. Overall it is a very helpful app. When I paid for the full version it only lets you set $ goals. It would be helpful if in the health section it had how long it would take to get to 100%. A help button or crave button would be helpful. Every time you want one to give some words to help u not smoke or facts. Overall I like the app but I feel that there are better ones out there.
Love It. Great app ! When I was ready to quit it helped me get over the tough bits. Now after 4 months when I have flashes of wanting a cigarette I turn to quit it and it helps me stay quit ! And now I return after 3 years and I have no more desire to smoke and it all started with a decision which I kept in part with the help of this wonderful app.
Worth the 2 bucks. This is a great tool to mark your progress! I love video games and seeing achievements and my progress is a great reminder on why I wanted to quit. Have been 3 weeks smoke free! This app saved me more than once. Spend the money it's worth it!
Too confusing. This app adds cigarettes to your values without knowing if you smoked or not despite using another counting app by the same developer (the apps don't appear to communicate with each other. It also acts like this app isn't useful until you completely quit meaning the values change but you can't do anything except watch. If you smoke nothing on the app changes because it doesn't allow you to tell it that you smoked. I wish I tried the free version before spending money. This app 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Finally a quitter. I started smoking when I was 13 years old. My smoking habits ranged wildly, at times I smoked a couple a day, sometimes even none, and other times I would smoke more than one pack in a 24 hour period. I used Alan Carr's Easy way to Quit before, even though I found it to be really helpful, it didn't stick. A few months ago one of my friends from college who I used to share my smoke breaks with shared his success with this app on Facebook. I figured I would give it a try. I have now gone more than three months without smoking a single cigarette, and am confident that this time it is forever. On the rare occasion that I have the desire to smoke I look at my app. I take a look at all the healthy milestones I have reached, and the far off ones that I have yet to achieve. That helps me remember that smoking even one resets the clock. Congratulations on taking the first step to change your life for the good!
Very Useful and Informative. Really enjoy this app. Every time I think I want a cigarette, I open the app and look at the progress I have accomplished. Love the fact that it gives you the ability to change the preset goals and make them your own. I like knowing how much money I saved and how many cigarettes I haven't smoked thus far. Great app!!
Good app. When I decided to quit smoking, I looked for an app to help with it. To keep me motivated. This app is just what I was looking for. It kept up with how long I've been quit. It gave me health benefits as I reached them. I've since upgraded to the pay version. It adds to the success I've had so far. I tried another paid app and the free version of this one when I first quit. This one is more informative and more accurate and easier to use. I would highly recommend it!
