LOVE!!!. This app is LITERALLY instrumental in keeping me on track with my working out. I love that all I have to do is simply workout. I don’t have to worry about the “metrics” of things. It does it ALL for me! I pray this app never goes anywhere!

Good push up counter. I like statistics, so this works well for me. How deep and how high the push-up are shows me if I’m cheating myself. The leaderboard glitches and force quits when I try to scroll down to see my score against others. Beside that, it just does what it’s supposed to do.

Simple, yet effective!. I’ve never written a review for an app, nor am I one to purchase “pro” versions of apps. This app is so fantastic I just had to! Everything works great but I’m having a little issue using Siri commands which isn’t too much of a big deal. Highly recommend app!

LOVE THIS APP. me and my friends just got it and what’s there not to love !?!? You can track either each others pushups and it’s motivating to do more. I wish there was a squats one now. Or if you can upgrade the app to also do squats lol but love the app for pushups counting

Goals are Great. This new version has goal tracking - so I can put in goals by time period - yearly, monthly, weekly, daily - and see them as I do my push ups. No more spreadsheet. Great improvement for something I use everyday.

Great app. This app is simple, intuitive, and I love how it syncs to the Apple Health app. The one thing that needs improvement is the face detection/proximity function. I’m finding myself manually having to add reps that weren’t picked up while doing my push ups.

Best app EVERRRRR. This is Truly a Gift to Humanity. The developers that made this app are soooo nice For making this app and making it so cheap that even the homeless can afford it. Developers I would like to add my own picture as my Gamer picture on the app is there any way you could make that happen?

Amazing Accountability. This app has absolutely everything you’d want. So many options. 3 settings to detect your pushups, the front facing camera, motion sensor on the screen, or my favorite tapping the screen. (I use my nose, forces me to go all the way down) You can set goals, reminders, track your progress on the leaderboard with friends or globally, and it links with Apple Health!

No support leader board issues. I have logged a couple issues have never heard back from the developer. The leaderboard doesn’t work between me and my friends. It’s always delayed. Doesn’t seem like it supports current local time zone it’s always off. But it does keep track of push-ups.

Broken proximity detection. It’s been a good app until when I upgraded to iPhone 16 pro max. The proximity sensing is no longer working properly and i even visited Apple Store to confirm that my proximity sensor is working properly. Looks like the app has not updated since the beginning of the year. Has the team stopped supporting the app? Apps generally need to be updated for each major new iOS and phone release and there’s no sign of update over a month after the new phone release.

Definitely worth the cost!. $2 bucks was easy to drop just to give this app a shot, and it was well worth the investment. The face tracker/proximity sensor alone makes this a must-have for tracking my sets. I also love the trend tracking, leaderboards, and simple layout that makes the app a breeze to use.

So worth it! Invest in yourself!!. I almost never buy paid apps, I usually use the free versions but this one is absolutely worth it! Seeing the graphs, calendars and all my stats. Seeing it all just motivates me to do more, at 200 push ups a day for now, moving up soon! 💪🏼 on a side note absolutely love the leaderboard feature, motivates me to pass people and do even more!

What a motivation!. I started with 15 and everyday I add one. The graph and new record graphic are keeping me focused. Everyday I add 1 push-up. Eventually I’ll have to break it into several sessions but I just concentrate on breaking my daily record each day.

Thoroughly impressed!. I went through numerous fitness tracker / workout log Apps for Push Ups before discovering this one. This app keeps things simple. No confusing menus. No overwhelming startup section. No annoying paywall. You want to track your push ups over time? This app does exactly that, in a way that is very straightforward and easy to understand. Also, the face detection works flawlessly for counting your reps. If you tend to look away from the ground at all during your sets, you can use the proximity sensor instead. This also helps to ensure you lower yourself completely for a full rep, down to the very last one! Works for variations like diamonds and staggered as well!

So cool!. I love this app because it does what it says. It counts pushups. You can even put it behind you and do sit-ups to. It would be cool if you could track those separately by a “switch” or something. I love it because I can study or listen to music and not lose count. Great app!!!!!

A must have!. This is my favorite workout app. Love the breakdown of stats. Love how accurately it functions. I never realized I was doing push-ups incorrectly until I got this app. Developer, can you please add average push-ups per minute in the stat screen (where you have the average per day, average per workout, etc.)

It works and integrates with apples fitness app. Easy to use, just put the phone face up on the ground and start do push ups with you face over the phone.

Outstanding app!. Love this app! It does exactly what I was looking for and is an excellent motivator. Being able to track daily, weekly, monthly and annual stats is terrific. The global leaderboard makes it fun to monitor progress against others. The developer is totally engaged, listens to enhancement suggestions and continually updates/improves the app. All that, and a beautiful user interface as well. Extremely well done! Amazing app for tracking. I really enjoy this app for keeping track of my push-ups. The counter is accurate when I start my sets and I love the calendar features to see how I’m doing. Totally worth it!

Crashes Constantly.... C’mon man, this update is worse than it was before. I got this so I can go to complete failure without having to look at it or keep count, it’s crashed a half dozen times in an hour. I’ve been forced to look at it because I want to know what my count actually is so I can add it to another workout app that is more all encompassing and don’t want “credit” for duplicate workouts.

Amazing App. I have no issues with this app, I used the PushFit app for awhile then upgraded to the pro. Perfect app for a counter. No monthly, one time payment then you can support the developer if you’d like. I truly appreciate the developer making this app and hope he/she has more in the future. I’d like for a SquatFit or Sit-upFit to be a thing. If you could make that happen, I’d invest in that app as well. amazing app, 10/10 recommend.

Deletes History. 5 stars when it works. However, on two occasions the app has randomly deleted parts of my history. I can’t tell for sure, but it may be the manual entries that got removed. First time it happened it wasn’t a big deal as I had only used the app for a month or so but second time it happens when I’m on a 2 year streak and all my history is now incorrect. Imaging if Strava or similar apps suddenly deleted and changed your history? Emailed developer but no response. If you want to have a permanent track record, this app is not for you!

Phenomenal Push-Up App. I just started my push-up program. I’m not trying to do a lot of pushups at once just a bunch for the week. After trying the free version I immediately paid the $1.99. This app is great for counting and keeping your trends over time. The developer is also updating and responding to feedback. Highly Recommend. Thanks

I’m so happy this app exists. This app is perfect and it’s beautiful, wouldn’t change a thing (even the settings screen is nice and clean). Just wanted to say thanks to the developer for making it, and I hope you always continue updating it!

Max reps suggestion for developers. Dear developers, I bought this app because of the Calendar feature obviously. The calendar, however, shows only total amount of reps per day. Wouldn’t be nice if in the small circle next to the big circle in the calendar I would see my maximum reps record of the day. You are welcome! PS I’m doing my 30 day challenge, so I want to see this update pretty soon. Thank you.

Great app!. A super motivational tool! One small recommendation: Might it be possible to keep manually entered pushups from being listed as the highest set count? For example, my highest set is listed as 300 because I had to manually enter my daily total (300) on several occasions. Naturally, however, my highest set count is nowhere near 300. If you could look into making this fine-tune adjustment, that would be great. In any case, congratulations on developing an excellent product!

Good app. I like the app a lot but one thing that is very annoying. Most of the time it doesn't sense my push-up. I hope this gets fixed, thank you. P.s. My phone constantly crashes every time I do a rep and I know its not my phone because I've used so much other apps that took a lot of power.

App counts. The app is the best I’ve seen for counting pushups. Really impressed. I first downloaded the free one. But when it was having problems I figured the paid one is probably free of those problems. But unfortunately no. I’m on iOS 17.1. You can’t stop a workout. The button doesn’t work. So aside from counting pushups it doesn’t do anything else. It doesn’t log or keep track of anything. The only way to get it to stop is crash the app. Which of course zeros everything out without logging it. I hope they update it soon to address this. It seems like it’s an amazing app if it would function as it’s meant to.

PushFit Pro = best push up app!. Since I started using, I’ve done more push-ups in one year than I did in the previous 5 years. My brother and children are doing push-ups waaaay more!

Worth it!. I’ve been using PushFit Pro for a couple of years and have gone from 0 to 100 pushups per day. It works great! The stats and calendar visuals are informative and motivational. The counter works like a charm. This app is well worth the price.

In my second year, great app. Great app. Tracked my entire year of pushups for 2024. Now, in 2025, I have to subtract that number from the All Time to know this year’s total. Can you add yearly to the leaderboard choices, please? Update: I see Yearly in in the leaderboard choices! Thanks!

Very ok. It’s cool enough. You can challenge yourself with other people. I’d really like to be able to type in the type of push-up done at each set. I try to go incline, decline,and flat, so would be nice to be able to see that

Wish the Apple Watch app was more optimized. It is cut off at the top on the watch app, then the now playing screen is like cut off and don’t get the full playing screen. And clicking on the workout should open it, but i have to go to calendar to open it. Plus I wish there a hr graph for each workout. Would give 5 star if these were fixed but I like the health kit integration and the social sharing

Exactly what I was looking for. Set reminders. Knock out push ups. App counts them off. Tracks daily and cumulative totals. Interface is outstanding with music and a motivational pic of your choice. If the notification sound was "beat yo' face". That would take it up a notch.

Couldn’t get pause or stop buttons to work. Nice interface. Cool feature that auto tracks push-ups (but missed a few which was annoying). Didn’t sync with watch and couldn’t get pause and stop buttons to work. So stopped using.

Love app need leaderboard improvement. Love the app. Feedback as follows: I would like to be able to hide/block people on leaderboard. Some people like user tinsman44 do thousand of pushups daily with no sets. It is very demotivational to have these fake accounts in the top ranks.

Good app for tracking push-ups. I love this app for tracking my sets, and bonus that it connects to my iPhone health app for tracking calories. The one update that I would like to see is the ability to either set your own goals or have it auto update based on performance. The default goals of 75 per week, 300 per month, and 1000 per year are way too low for even a moderate workout. They’re fine for a beginner, but if you’re paying for the Pro version, this is something that I need to be able to adjust.

Won’t count push-ups. This app is trash. The face detection/proximity sensor doesn’t work at all. You have to physically touch the phone with your nose. There’s no way to change the sensitivity in the settings. You can set it to pause when it doesn’t detect your face (which will cause it to pause the moment you start doing a push-up) or set it for “bar mode” which does nothing. If you change a setting in “face detection” it changes the same setting in “proximity” And “none” (none? There’s a setting for none? None what?) which is obviously a huge development error. It’s like they didn’t even try. I will be seeking a refund. Definitely not worth $5.

The reason this deserves five stars👍🏻. this deserves five stars because it is so useful in tracking how many push-ups and the exercise every day I also love how you can compete with friends globally. I also like the set up and how you can change the picture icon. I love how pro is super cheap. overall I really think that this app has changed the way I am fit. that is why this app is such a great app and I would just like to thank the developers and everybody else who made this app possible.😁

Great App. Love the app. Good for tracking workouts. One change I would suggest. Can you put on option in the Settings to change the default timer for the rest between reps? I would like to change it to 2 min or so, 30 secs is too short and it is annoying to have to change it everytime. Also, it would be nice if the rest timer worked in the background so you could do other stuff on your phone while you wait. As it is, the timer stops if you go to another app. Good app though Thanksp

Simple it works. The best push-up counter in my opinion. It will watch your head and give you credit for each push-up that you do during the session. Stop and come back later; it will accumulate the push ups for that day and eventually you will reach your daily goal. There is a big dial that you push to start the session, and then each push-up will show up as a number in that big dial so you can see what’s going on while you’re doing your push-ups

It does what you want it to!. I’ve been using this app for over a month now and it does exactly what you want to do. It keeps track of your push-up workout and maintains that record for you. It’s simple and easy to use and doesn’t have a bunch of extra bells and whistles that you don’t need. Sometimes the proximity sensor doesn’t always catch it, but you can go in and manually correct any mistakes.

Legit App. It does exactly what you need it too 100%. If there was a spot for notes we could keep a journal of our activity that day like I use the PACER App do a lot of walking with a 35lb vest on my back these things are just fun to log gamify everything you can accomplish anything.

Absolutely incredible. This is the best app I’ve ever bought. It’s 3 dollars or whatever and it tracks all my push-up data forever. And not just the amount of push-ups, but your push-ups per minute, time per set, overall time, and graphs and presentation options galore. There’s no subscription nonsense or 800 trackers built in. Most importantly, it uses your camera to track your push-ups. You just lay it down and it tracks/counts your push-ups AUTOMATICALLY. It’ll count out for you too. Critically, if you don’t go far enough down or far enough up….IT WILL NOT COUNT THE PUSH-UP!! I didn’t realize how many times I was cheating on firm until I got this app. That alone is worth the cost. Plus it has leaderboards to see how you stack up and motivate you (global as well as a circle of friends you invite). It’s just great. Body weight exercises have almost no chance of hurting you, require no equipment and can be done anywhere, and are the best choice IMO for a lifelong fitness journey. Journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Click that buy button and see how far you can go.

Great app. Great app to push you if you like seeing the numbers rise and be a bit competitive in the process of getting more fit.

Great app, but missing a few key things. I’d first like to start off by stating that PushFit does exactly what it says on the box: it tracks your pushups and gives you plenty of data to analyze. The app is not without flaws, however. Firstly, there is not an Apple Watch app. For an app focused on bodily movement you would think an Apple Watch app would be included. Secondly, not every set is properly recorded, but that may be down to user error on my part. Besides those things this app works great!

Goals and more. This was a great app even before the addition of goals. Now it is whatever better than great is. Motivational. Accurate. Simple to use. I’ve never had a glitch. One of the best fitness apps out there.

Great app but new problem showed up. This is a great app and I’ve had it for some time. As of late, auto counting using face detection has been terrible. Starts ok, but after 5+, app starts skipped every other or even more. Tried proximity and it does not work at all. I’m on iPhone 14 Pro. Not sure what happened.

Very Useful. I love this app so much and it is awesome. It records every push-up and it has many features you can customize. Very simple app, very navigational but extremely useful. It also shows you the data of you doing push up, it has lots of statistics and graphs. If you do push-ups often and want to record everything and have it stored forever this is the app for you. Also statistics can show you avg for day and time taken to complete push-ups and MUCH more thoses are only two of the many features. Definitely get this app if you want to upgrade your push-up game. It will seriously graph of your progress instantly and records it. Get this app now you will not regret it.

The best.. Using it for an attempt at 100,000 pushups- essential tracking and very simple to use. Love it

Fails at the basics. To count pushups accurately.. Looks good, but fundamentally flawed as the counter does not keep up with your actual push-ups. Demotivating and I have stoped using it after 3 days.

App keeps crashing constantly. No iCloud. Will not keep your data when you move phones. Sometimes app will lock up and not save progress.

Constantly stops counting. In the middle of a workout it stops responding. Gets stuck in between rest and pause. Cost me over 1000 reps. Looking for an alternative now.

Inaccurate counting. Would benefit from being able to adjust miscalculated totals at the end of workouts. Have switched to all methods of counting as advised in other reviews without any improvement

Great Motivator. I have tried many push up apps. This one is by far the best. I find myself wanting to do better every day. I have only been using it for a week, but I am already seeing a big difference in my progress.

Great app with one flaw. I love this app. It lets me focus on exercising without having to keep count of my reps or sets. There's just one small but surprisingly annoying design flaw—it's impossible to set a standard rest period (e.g. 90 seconds for every rest). Instead, the app seems to select a random rest period (1:40 or whatever) and then you can only adjust the duration by 15-second increments while it's already counting down. I just want it to be 90 seconds (or whatever) every time I hit the rest button without having to muck around. This should be a basic setting: please add it!

Great App. I’ve found this app to be very easy to use. It keeps you motivated throughout the day. You just want to bang out a couple more sets. One thing that would be good is if the calorie counter added up your daily total.

Great little app. Got the app to stay in shape by doing daily pushups. Once I tried the free version, I quickly upgraded to Pro in order to get the stats and workout history. For a couple of bucks the upgrade is definitely worth it. One tip: if using the face detection setting in the app to automatically count your pushups, ensure that you are doing so in a well-lit place - I have discovered that the app does not detect all that well in dim lighting.

Bad. I don’t know why I paid for this. The app can’t track me properly on any setting and I’m using the latest iPhone. I test apps and games for a living and this has slowed down my working out and frustrated me.

Does what it says.. Records pushups and adds them to apple fitness.

Counter is moody. Overall the app does a score and record job. It really fails to reliably count in any of the modes of proximity, touch. Also the push notifications on the app that are supposed to remind you that you w missed a workout are also not reliable. The reminders come randomly rather than any day you miss the workout.

Doesn’t detect pushups. I upgraded to the pro to record my pushups without entering them and it doesn’t work..

Best push-up app I tried. I tried several push-ups apps. None worked reliably. I played with the free version of this one for a couple weeks. Did not freeze and worked every time.

Friend requests not working.. The counter is great. I wanted to add my son and my brothers to my friends list so we can all try to get to 20K push-ups in 2023 together, but when I send them the link, it just takes them to the friends page, but doesn’t add them. I wrote support about a week ago, and I haven’t heard anything back. If we get that figured out, this 3 star review will be a 5 star.

Well worth the money. This app works well, has plenty of features, and is simple to use. Choice of camera or proximity sensor (I use the latter). Set and track daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals. Programmable rest interval between sets. Choice of tone or count for each pushup. Automatically graphs your workout, showing number and pace per set, rest interval and total. Link to Game Centre and see how you compare to others using the app, or compete with friends. Lots of thought and work went into this one. Oh - and it doesn’t require you to give up your privacy and data. 👍

Trash!. All of my pushups had been reset automatically. The support for this app did not add the number of pushups I had done to my account before it was deleted. I’m sure there is a better app out there than this one, that I also PAID for!!!!!

Useful!. I really like how this app keeps track of your highest rep, and I like the timer feature! Overall, very useful app for recording your push-up stats.

It’s great!!!. Works very well. If you miss a few, just tap on the picture to make sure it’s counted.

Inaccurate. It’s a great idea but the counter is inaccurate. Sometimes it counts erratically, adding multiple reps that aren’t performed, and sometimes it doesn’t count at all, skipping one or multiple reps.

Face ID flaky. About half the time the app doesn’t register my push-ups. Even getting my nose close to the screen doesn’t work. Closed and restarted the app doesn’t work either. It just doesn’t work sometimes. I’m using an iPhone XS. Please fix it. I like the app if it would work all the time.

Needs Update (now). It does work for a simple counter to keep track of my push-ups. But this thing badly needs an update. It takes ages to switch between screens. Yes, ages.

Workout tracker not working in bathroom. I was able to get with just manually tracking the workout. Smooth app besides that issue

Simple Yet Effective. What a great app? Getting me motivated to do push-ups everyday. I love the simplicity and design. First month in and I’m averaging 100 push-ups.

Face detection refuses to work some days. In both the paid and free version of this app it simply refuses to work some days. Face detection nor proximity detection will work and there’s nothing I can to do fix it. Very frustrating for a paid app.

Worthless. The only way the app will register my push-ups with any sort of consistency is to literally press the count button with my nose. Prox sensing doesn’t work at all. I have an iPhone 12 Pro, no case to interfere with any sort of sensing.

A great app. With the Adidas suite (Push/Sit/Pull Ups, Squats) no longer available nor supported, this PushFit Pro is a welcome alternative and actually better than the Adidas version: better stats, compare to others and a variety of interesting voices. I’m a big fan of this app and hope the developer will consider expanding this excellent format to SitUp, PullUp and Squats apps as well. A Raving Fan! Walther V

Good app but one minor bug. Occasionally while doing pushups the screen will go black and it won't count pushups. Other than that it's a perfect product.

Push up detection needs work. Does not detect all push ups with face or proximity

Good…. but….. The app is easy to use with a nice interface. However, why is there no way to set goals? Even a simple goal, like a monthly or annual number? Huge oversight.

Inaccurate. Does not count all my push ups.. need I say more? How can I stay focused on my reps when I’m using perfect form and it is skipping random push ups? Very discouraging to know i can’t get an accurate log of my workout.

Try before purchasing. Not a bad app. Proximity reader isn’t that accurate and doesn’t register all pushups. Would be nice if the reminders went more in detail like hourly

I use it every day.. Simple. No gimmicks. Count the pushups, track them daily, wily, monthly. A+. Thanks.

Weird counting. The pro version is weirdly variable in counting proximity. Sometimes it requires actually touching the the screen and other times not. Sometimes double counts.

Face detection < chest detection. Some push ups are not getting counted. I wish the camera did not rely on my face but on my chest falling on top of the camera every time I do a rep. Since my chest is bigger than my face it might be easier target for the camera to count.

Great app. I have had no major problems with the app. I love it as I no longer have to count how many push-ups I do.

Rip off - does not work even for pro version. Very glitchy and only counts 1/2 of the reps. Most times I cannot get the app to close with the end button. Have to manually force close the app. Proximity sensor does not work and the face detection is iffy at best. Using on iPhone 14 pro max.

cool app, but lacks expected features. Creating a group is hard. I invite friends but they do t show upon my leaderboard. No way to browse for them by name.

Works if I put a book under my phone. It good for the tracking etc but doesn’t automatically count the pushups like it claims. I have to manually tap the circle after I finish. Proximity sensor is turned on and works, I checked it. Emailed support but got no response. Edited: got an email back with the suggestion I place a book under my phone to move it closer to my chest and now it works!

Great app.. Great app for tracking your push-ups! Plays music and has a timer too.

Crashes. One a week the app will crash and loose the count. When you add things manually to the calendar it only adds 200 to the leaderboard. If you are setup up such restrictions make sure that you app doesn’t crash and users don’t loose the count. The rest is fine.

Doesn’t let you listen to your own music. When you start a workout, whatever you were listening to gets paused. Otherwise it’s a really good app

Works (sort of). It counts pushups ok using iPhone but doesn’t track calories anywhere near accurately. I did 120 pushups and it said I only burned 12 calories. Should have been more like 80

Motivating and fun. My friends and family love encouraging each other and occasionally compete.

Constant crashes and lost workouts. The app crashes regularly on iOS 17 and the developer hasn’t made any updates in quite some time. Would skip this app in favor of something more stable.
