Buggy. The app is incredibly slow, it placed my order at a different location, and sent me 26 emails about the order. There isn’t a way, a clear way at least, to add a coupon to an online order.

Great place!. I went for the very first time and I loved it. The food is amazing and the place is a whole different experience, and omg the little robot serving water, adorable 👏. My server was José, and was super nice, helpful and patience. Looking forward to coming back🤗!

The new app has less functionality than the old app. Be aware if you have used the previous app and have had two people or devices connected to the same account that this configuration is no longer permitted. The downgraded functionality means my wife and I can’t use the same account in the app. While it may be harsh to downgrade the app for disabling useful features, this one seems particularly short-sighted on the part of the product team. It means we’ll only use the app when we are going together and not when I am going to lunch with co-workers. It feels like the product team have no idea how people actually use technology as a family. Boo. Fix this.

Really Slow. I cannot order or even look at the menu from the app because it’s really slow. When I scroll it will not move till full minute or longer. I also feel like they do not update the menu as often. Items will show out of stock but they have it at the restaurant.

App is horribly slow. This app is honestly so slow. It took me about 30 minutes to put my order in. I had given up in previous attempts but I wanted to see how long it would actually take this third time. Please fix this. I feel like I’m waiting for a MySpace page to load in 2005.

New app issues. I just downloaded the new app and it’s not sending me the verification email despite email being correct and requesting it at least 5 times. I also don’t see any way to join waitlist. Maybe some new release bugs?

Order online. Order online is very lagging.

the app is so laggy. i love kura sushi and i have many rewards points. but when i go to the menu for takeout or delivery, there are so many issues with scrolling that my app will freeze entirely until i reset it. this app would be an easy 5 stars if the menu tab worked. unfortunately, this is not the case, i really hope to see this improve in future releases.

Fun and dine. Great place for kids and adults to enjoy healthy meals. Staffs are kind, attentive and friendly.

Old app worked better. This app, while pretty, makes it nearly impossible to actually place a pickup order. It takes forever to load the menu, then it’s extremely slow to scroll - then it just stops functioning all together. Please fix this

Kira Revolving Sushi Bar. It’s only my second time there, but I feel right at home. The servers are extremely nice and helpful. Our servers were Mariz and Yeilanis she was so happy and loving her job and it showed. We tried different things than last time and the fresh crab sushi plates were delicious and I can’t believe I didn’t see them last time I was there. We went in the middle of Summer and maybe a different menu for the Fall I tried all new things. The crispy squid was so tasty and I loved the sauce on these, and the texture was so amazing not too chewy just right. I tried the the crab meat sushi wrapped in seaweed it was good and loaded with crab meat. Free refills for the lemonade which was perfectly sweet and tangy. I’m just in Love with the little robot that brings your drinks he’s even sweet! My favorite thing was, after the like The crab plates was the dessert. I wish I took a picture it was that delish. A small bowl of ice cream with a big baked pastry fish, but inside was red beans and sauce. It was enough for two people who just shared 15 plates of food. The plates are just like Tapas but enough to share and try new stuff. I’m already planning my next trip back. It’s so convenient to get to in South Bay right across from Olive Garden, in Dorchester. We will be back!

Unable to save up points. The app automatically converted all my points into coupons that would expire within a few weeks. If you’re not planning on eating here every couple weeks then it’s not worth the hassle.

Online ordering and menu not functional. Can’t scroll thru the menu without the app freezing

TERRIBLE performance. App hangs on scrolling, takes forever to load images and drains the battery. IPhone 14 Pro max user and I don't face this kinda problem with any other app in it.

Snail speed!. This app is impossible to order takeout on. It literally goes at the speed of old school dial up. I don’t understand how anyone is able to use this app. Its so frustrating! Hope they fix this bug bc i love ordering take out here!!

Done as fried chicken.. Took 15 minutes to download, no WI-FI in Plano store. If you're so forward thinking why no customer WI-FI? At first use no transfer of previous purchases or ability to scan bill (Try Later) Maybe I try later to pay. New and improved Really? Lost a good customer over this poor attempt to upgrade.

Great food but this new app is complete garbage. I had 400+ points under my old account. When I Migrated to this new app it brought over those points but with the first receipt I scanned my points went to 17. What why?? On top of that I made a mistake and didn’t update the year on my birthday and now it says it is going to delete my account because I’m in violation of their TOS and I can’t fix it in the app. My only recourse is to file a complaint. This app is garbage, I’ll be calling the restaurant tomorrow to see what I can do to fix this.

Quick and helpful!. I love eating here, especially how every couple of months they change the theme and prizes. I especially love the quick response when I emailed them through the Kura website about my reward points question!

Boston South Bay location. Maria was my server and she checked on me a few times to make sure my table was clear and was attentive!

Ordering is a chore!. Trying to place an order is a giant pain. Scrolling through the menu is difficult. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t!

Love the restaurant hate the app. App will not scroll through the menu So I’m not able to order for hand rolls, gunkan, noodles etc. it used to be so easy. Hate this new version.

App does not allow to earn rewards. Why would you advertise for people to download app but every time at the restaurant your scan for bar code or input bar does not work. I should sue your company for false advertising.

Love the restaurant, hate the app. The new app doesn’t work at all for me. I can no longer log in even after resetting my password, I just get error messages. Before this issue the app always ran very slow. I hope they fix it because the restaurant really is super fun to go to their app just isn’t functional

Fix your app!!!!. Your app has a problem. Fix it!

Painfully slow. Trying to place a pickup order is nearly impossible. It is very slow on loading and scrolling half a centimeter at a time makes ordering unbearable. The app may also be inaccurate. Many items are listed as Out Of Stock on the app. But while dining in, I started a mock pick up order. The items that were “out of stock” were on the conveyer belt and I was also able to order it on the touch screen and it was sent to my table. There much room for improvement with the app. I how the devs see this review.

Servers don’t Understand how to redeem coupons. Very frustrating to actually redeem coupons from severs. I had an issue with Russell at the Irvine location in which he refused to scan coupons on a split bill, despite us asking before hand to bill us separately

Our First time. We absolutely loved all the food. Such a fun place. Definitely recommend!!!

Ordering to go on the app it always crashes and have to reload. It’s super slow on my old phone and even my new phone even with the fastest connection please fix this app

Fun and Easier to Use. Migrated my account with no problem. Love the rewards and the improved location search feature. Nice to see these enhancements.

App bugs / not usable. The restaurant is fantastic. This app, not so much. Constantly reloads, can look at the menu before it bugs and sends you back to the main page. The old app wasn’t great either, but was at least usable. Hopefully some updates will help in the future.

App is useless for online ordering. After 20 min trying to order online I just gave up because the app would move at a GLACIAL pace. Great restaurant but good luck if you want to order o line.

Cher & Mike. A little pricey, I liked the conveyer belt. They had good choices but most were on the menu not many came around on the belt.

Why?. Why have they not fixed this app yet? Your business model has to be pretty backwards to think a nonfunctioning app is acceptable in today’s age. Customers want to give you business with online orders! Fix the app puuulease!

Your points expire right after you get them. Very easy to earn rewards but then they expire within twenty days. The app should let you keep your points until you are ready to redeem them.

Tampered with my phone. Downloading the new app and using my email somehow caused my device be recognized as an unknown device by Google gmail. I use my email daily on my device and have never been prompted to have to recover my email because gmail doesn’t recognize my device. I am now unable to access my gmail on my device all together. This app tampered with my phone!

Reward points. Reward points didn’t transfer after the app upgrade.

Please bring back Apple Wallet support. It was great that the old all allowed you to add your scan code to Apple Wallet. It’s a shame that this functionality was taken away. Please bring it back.

Great sushi “train” place. This was our first time eating at Kura sushi. All of the sushi tasted great. Our daughter loved the salmon nigiri and had 4 plates of it! Everything that we did order came out fast. Highly recommend the ice cream dessert with the “fish” doughnut that has a bean paste inside! It was so delicious! We really liked this place and plan on going back to try the ramen. Only con: long wait. We didn’t wait too long since we got on the wait list before 5 pm. But when we left around 6:15, the estimated wait was 145-175 mins!

Please bring back Apple Wallet support. It was great that the old all allowed you to add your scan code to Apple Wallet. It’s a shame that this functionality was taken away. Please bring it back.
