Cute but need improvement. Such a cute concept! I enjoy the “text-y” vibe it’s giving. But it’s so incredibly slow to load that most of the time I attempt to go on, I end up just closing out of it. Also, it’s kinda confusing to use. I’m not really sure what to do on the app.

The subscription is too much. I remember getting the app when it first released and how fun it was I feel like they should just keep the photos calendars and livestreams free and the ask for a subscription if you want to text them like in bubble (jyp messenger app thing) bc who’s paying 9 dollars to look at pictures they can get for free in Pinterest or google? I understand wanting extra money but this is a little too much I love newjeans tho 🫶🏾

No. I was so happy when I saw this because I am obsessed with new jeans and when I log in I saw that there was a text calling and stuff but than when me and my cousin tried it it said we had to BUY everything there like what ???? If your gonna make us buy everything might as well make make it cost money just to download it 😐not in a mean way but like it’s not worth buying it

Too much to pay for.. As most people say, there’s many minors who are at their kpop era. Not all minors but most who downloaded this app. There’s so much things to pay for I don’t think some can’t afford to buy on credit or isn’t allowed to pay. I heard even the live needs money to be commenting. Almost everything needs to have money. I like the calendars and all but most things I try to enter need money. This is a cute app for New Jeans because I am a fan of them, but I just don’t like how almost everything has to be payed for. That’s why I’ll give it a 1 star.

Download is free but the whole app is not. I was really excited when I downloaded this app but then I got hit with the subscription. I can’t do anything on the app unless I pay $9 a month which I can’t afford because I’m a minor who doesn’t make much money. I was pretty sad and disappointed. I understand this is a way for them to make money to support the group until they get on their feet, I just hope they will lift the subscription soon for us bunnies who can’t afford the high price. Until then I don’t have enough space on my phone for an app that I can’t use so I will be saying bye and deleting the app. I’m very sorry. Pls let us Bunnie know when the subscription will be lifted because I’ll definitely be redownloading it. Pls think about unlocking some features on the app. I want to support the girls as much as possible but unfortunately I can’t afford the price and it feels silly to spend so much for photos. I luv new jeans but I have no money to spend like that :,( Other then that the app is really well done and has a cute aesthetic to it. Thank you for your time

sigh subscription. i had the app since it released and i loved it but i honestly think the subscription is ridiculous like i get locking the calendar or the 1:1 messages but to lock photos and lives and make you wait to watch was a bit much.. especially since most of newjeans fans are younger/teens including myself we don’t have access to just spend money on subscription and or our parents don’t approve of buy anything. I get the point of adding it it’s just like they wanted to make it similar to bubble but it’s too expensive 😭

Before u download..There’s a subscription!!. I think this app is really cute! lots of content of the girls that i’m sure all over their fans will enjoy BUT to access majority of the content u have to pay a subscription. i personally was not expecting this to be free but i just wanted to let people know that you’re not really gonna get much out of this app if u don’t pay for the subscription. with that being said, if u don’t want to pay for the subscription i don’t think the app is worth downloading but if u don’t mind then definitely download it!!

SO COOL🤩. this app is so much fun!! it’s such a unique concept for a nostalgic young band. it’s like you’re actually texting and calling them, interacting in their daily lives and it’s a totally good time, and the cute older graphics make it stand out and bring back memories 😩 10/10 recommend! NewJeans is the best 🤍🖤💙

Phoning. Ok it good but I don’t like we have to pay for it to text them or something I don’t like it Ik your trying to get mony but what if people don’t got money for that just saying I mean. Cute app, but there are some problems. So this app overall is really cool! But there’s a problem, when I’m at the last step of making my ID card the photo prints but then after that there’s a white screen. I’m not so sure what that means, also when I click on ‘Pick My Outfits’ it doesn’t load at all. Please help me fix this! 💕🐰

Theory. This is a reach but like all my shifters may understand but everything is just so well put together 😭 what if their leader shifted from somewhere else and just found random pretty girls from Pinterest or they may have group shifted!?!?! Idk like I said just a reach because they just come out of no where

Cute App! (room for improvement ). I love this app! What a fun idea for a group! I had so much fun and I can only imagine how much more fun it would've been if I was younger. It's fun to read the messages and so far it seems the button next to each message translates correctly. Also!!! Terms and conditions, instructions, and other important information are IN ENGLISH! (Which is better than I can say for other apps 👀) The little activities are cute like decorating their album or changing their outfits. The ID card doesn't work for me either which is a little disappointing but I'm sure they're working on those things. I wish looking at the photos was a little different. If it was one continuous scroll it would be nicer but leaving one members "album" and entering anothers just to wait for each photo to load isn't worth it. If you could scroll from side to side to each member and then up and down for their individual photos I think it would be a lot more seamless.

Money!. phoning is a little bad now . But don’t get me wrong it’s still a really fun game not really fun though because everything is locked like you can’t see pictures LIKE PICTURES ! It’s reasonable to lock messages with the girls but PICTURES and I can’t even chat on the calendar . It’s just not fair at all! I really want to support all the girls and stuff but like 8 dollars or something each month! I could do it but I will run out really fast and I don’t have that much money and some people don’t even have enough money to buy it so it’s just not fair for anyone because parents also don’t let kids buy it so it just not ok . But I really want them to change it like to 2$ each month maybe or 5 or maybe just free? like the Company already has a lot of money so it’s just not fair ! if you see this, please lower the subscription THANK YOU

Not a fan of the subscription.. I've had this app since it released, its a really fun app but the subscription really got on my nerves. It was fine before but you really had to add a subscription? I really like newjeans but why would you add a subscription ? I have to wait for the Iives to watch them, I can't download photos, I can't even "talk" to them. It's honestly not fair

Well I rate it three stars ✨ because “Do I have to sub to text and 💰 pay?” But I am just saying if the app can change its way and let us text call and comment whenever and wherever we want with out paying and let the company know that we are sick and tired 🥱 of paying. There is a lot of room for improvement like making it less expensive I do get that new jeans is a new group and they’re trying to get on their feet but everything cost money you can’t even look at the messages or a lot of things though downloading is free everything else is not there is room for improvement like I said.

Super cute!. This app is so cute and I love all the effort they’re putting in for the girls. The app can run a little slow at times and not load but no major problems at all!

Cool app. The idea of the app itself is really cool, but the whole subscription thing kinda messed it up for me. I recently got the app and I can’t do much because I am a minor and my parents won’t pay 9$ for the subscription. I know it’s a better way for the company to make more money but it is still a bit sad.

Really fun!!!. It’s a great app! I just wish I could translate to chats to English so I can understand the message part of the app! It feels like I’m missing out on a lot b/c of that. Other than that it’s really fun and a very innovative app and I can’t wait to see what else it grow.

Good Concept But Not Accessible. I really used to love the app however I do not like the new update with the subscription. I used to be able to view everything in the app but I can not afford to now. I liked that the app connected fans to the artists however I feel like the subscriptions really put a rift between fan and artists. I won’t be using it much anymore since the update.

Cute :). I love newjeans, it’s nice to go in and see the events on the calendar. I’m not a subscriber tho, since I’m a minor and don’t make my own money yet. Anyway I agree with the top review that says only chatting should be charged for like 3.99 maybe? Anyway for people who want to see what’s free, you can see official events newjeans will appear on in the calendar, access the newjeans website and get messages from ador, and some other companies. But that’s really it haha. For subscribers you can comment on the events, see the members rants on the calendar, their photos in the albums, their live calls and streams, and talk to them individually. The wait is around 2 days if they want to talk to YOU. From what I’ve heard. Anyway it’s a cute app but not much available for free users.

Subscription only restrictions. I loved phoning when it came out I was on it everyday and everyone was able to look through the pictures posted on the photo albums and were able to go into the calls but since the subscription plans started only people who pay the $10 dollars a month or $90 dollars a year can even access these photo albums and answer the group calls. I think the subscription should only be for messaging the girls back and for answering personal phoning calls for girls instead of restricting people who don’t have the money to pay for something that was free to them not long ago when the app was released I don’t go on the app a lot any more since everything needs to be paid for and I can’t enjoy it anymore casue of all the restrictions. The app now seems to only cater to people who have money when it used to cater to everyone which is very sad and seems very low and money hungry.💀

The subscription…. Love this app to death, but the subscription is just something else. Ik you guys probably need the money from people and everything, and that you can talk to them privately with the subscription but here is what I think you guys should do and can probably give you more money. You should have the photos free or just 3 dollars or less a month. Then, talking to them could still be 9 dollars a month! Since most of the people (including me) are minors that can’t afford that.

The subscription ended my excitement to be honest. I knee the subscription is necessary for the messages but it us definitely not necessary for the photos. Newjeans has many fans who can’t pay every month or every year but they also want to see the photos (Including me) Please dont make up pay for photos because my excitement was ruined and destroyed when I saw that you have to pay for photos, it’s honestly very stupid.

Login issues. I signed up, but everytime I try to log in the app sends me back to the home page. I just want to be on this app bruh😭

Is this like bubble for like JYP. Is this like bubble for JYP like you have to pay a monthly fee to talk to one of the girls or is this just the way that they can talk to us but we can’t talk to them just wondering but so far I really like it.

not worth the money. don’t get me wrong- the apps design is so cute, and matches newjeans’ style so well! i love the girls so much, but it’s wayyy to overpriced! There’s no way I can afford to pay for something like this every month since i’m a minor whos too young to get a job (and no way will my parents pay for it). if you’re a hardcore ot5 stan then go ahead and spend ur money, but i have a bias (dani) and would rather chat with only her for cheaper. most of the people stanning newjns are minors, we can’t pay for this!! plus, you can find everything (like photos and calendar things) online for free and so the only thing you’re paying for is the texting/calling or whatever. Lastly, why should we have to pay to watch NewJeans live when all other HYBE artists lives are free on weverse??? Ador is just trying so steal our money and profit off of NewJeans’ huge popularity. Imo, bubble is a much better app if you want to get your moneys worth. You get discounts there if you want to talk with more than one artist of a group, and most idols are active. NO HATE TO NWJNS JUST SHARING MY OPINION ON PHONING

Love this app!! (But please). Can you please make it easier to translate to English? It’s really tedious to have to press the translate button for every text message. Especially when you miss 3 days of Phoning and you miss over 300+ messages. I have to press translate for every text message. It’s very tiresome. But anyways… Love you, NewJeans!! 💕💕💕😘😘🥰

unneeded update. I recently noticed that they changed it so now only subscribed people can comment? This is so stupid what is the point of watching the live when you can’t comment. If they cared for their fans they would want to engage with them. Like look I know for example bubble does this but the members can go on insta lives so it’s free of charge for others who bc aren’t fortunate enough to be able to overpay for that. This is the only form for fans to engage with them in real time and have a chance to talk with their idols. They should atleast go live on Weverse too if it’s like This. For once I have to say the platforms for literally any other group is better than this. If you actually want to engage with your favs, watch the free skz member lives on insta or txt lives on Weverse as both of them go live very often, for free.

nothing loads!!!. i’m so excited for this group and their concept!!! unfortunately with this app nothing would load for me in the area of the app where you can make an ID, outfit, and the “my album” :( the app would freeze during the loading screen and then crash returning me to my home screen!! i gave it 3 stars as everything else is functioning and i find the app so cute!!!!

Subscription. Hi . Can you pls make of the the things free. I understand that you want to make money but some people can’t manage to pay just to see pictures of there’s idols. And not to mention how all of a sudden everything cost money. Kinda disappointing.

Love the app, but expensive. I have loved interacting with the girls via messages and live streams and everything else. However, the subscription is pretty expensive. $9/mo or $90/yr is way too much! I would understand about $5/mo because a lot of NewJeans fanbase are not adults and don’t have that kind of money! Another thing, it’s a little ridiculous to make people pay for live streams and photos. I understand the messaging and maybe the calendar events but I don’t understand why we should pay such a hefty price for photos. At least lowering the price of this app would improve it heavily. Even back to $7 would be preferable for everyone using it.

Great idea and service! Many nitpicks though!!. This app is an amazing idea and I love its service. However 2 issues I have with the app is whenever I tap on a notification from Phoning, I automatically get logged out and have to log back into the app. It’s very annoying and makes me not want to interact with the app until later on, so I just end up closing it. The other issue I have is the translation feature. Having to tap every single specific message in order to translate it is very tedious, compared to just having a system that automatically translates the messages for you the second one of the members send a message through the chat. It’s a very simple thing I’m sure. And would help the app. Until then these 2 things lower my interaction with the app by vast amounts, I rarely use it once per month because of these 2 issues

How the heck do I login?. So I downloaded this app feeling very excited to be talking to newjeans but then when I did all the steps how do I login because I created a password and then it’s telling me incorrect password truck please check again if anybody can write back to this review just a copy the title, and tell me how to login cause this is so confusing

I love this app but.... This app is amazing, I love how there's their whole schedule planned out and I even love how they get to go live! yet I really don't like how you have to pay 9$ a month/64$ a year just to be able to see photos, see private lives, and use messages. Though Like I said this app is great, but this feels like more of a cash grab because of the subscription more than an actual interactive app you can use to meet your favorite artists.

Newjeans app. I love this app so much!! even though new jeans just debuted they are making a phenomenal job. you can literally get online photo cards and create your own album how cool is that!!!

Love it but what’s the point. I love new jeans so much there music is just amazing love everything about it. But this app however confuses me because what’s the point of it if you just have to pay for everything. Like I get they live and stuff but you can’t do anything else but just listen to the lives.

not a fan of the subscription feature. i’m actually a hugeee fan of newjeans!! love the girls so much, their music, style, personalities, and everything is amazing. i’ve had phoning since it launched, and absolutely LOVED the all! so nice to be able to watch their livestreams, view the messages, and the calendar. my favorite feature by far has been the photo collection for each member and the group as a whole. the whole app feels really genuine and as a fan, i feel connected in a way to the members. recently, phoning adding a subscription feature for $8.49 a month. i knew it was coming, but it still really shocked me. i understand why they did it, but they should have at least let some features be free, for example the calendar or photos. it’s just unfair to lock everything. i want to support the girls as much as i can, and paying that amount per month just to see pictures of them makes me sad. for now, the app is just going to sit in my phone. i really looked forward everyday to seeing the phoning notifications, but w/o the subscription i don’t get any. i don’t have a problem paying for the subscription, but it’s a lot of money overtime and many fans are young with no money to spend on it and parents may not allow them. just wish ADOR figures something out, i don’t think it’ll work out in the long term. hopefully some features get unlocked.

great until it wasn’t. at first phoning was a great and enjoyable app but w the recent update where we have to pay to see the photos i’m very upset and troubled at that. how come we have to pay to see a few freaking photos for almost 9 dollars a month which if you think about it is very stupid and unnecessary, they might as well just had a weverse (which is also ran by hybe) and just be done with it, this the complete opposite of what universe did, universe use to use in app currency so you could download photos, now you don’t, and the fans and public like that way more, so why are y’all doing the opposite by making us pay to see idol content when we once did it free?

App malfunctions. So far I like the app. I can see live streams and such but the biggest thing bothering me right now is that when I press on the members messages. My app instantly crashes. I’ve reset the app and even redownloaded the all multiple times but it keeps crashing. I’m not sure if I would want to pay a monthly subscription of roughly $9 or $84 a year if my app can’t function correctly. Besides that I find everything else pretty leisurely and helpful, however why pay for pictures if they’re just leaked on other fan accounts for free. Thank you for your time.

I love the app but…. Overall the app is very cute, And the new update is an very interesting idea. But i’m so mad that i can’t see the photos or anything anymore( I didn’t pay cuz i’m broke) And considering Bunny’s are in majority Gen Z and mostly are Teens or younger, like i said i’m broke and i’m sure i’m not the only one who can’t afford this.(It’s not like i’m poor but i don’t think my parents would pay it for me lol) So i’m kinda sad i can’t do that anymore, So i think the app is just going to sit there until i decide to delete it 😭

cute very y2k!! but…. The app is super cute, similar to weverse, and a great way to communicate with the girls. So, 10/10. First and foremost, I love the app design and the features. It really appeals to our younger generation. However, the only problem is that it’s slightly unreliable? Some features don’t work from my phone, like creating an ID or the dress up feature, and the app occasionally crashes, so it feels like it doesn’t work how it’s supposed to. :( I think it needs a few updates but that’s all.

Phoning 감사합니다! 🐇💾💚. 포닝 is such a fun, beautiful, interactive, nostalgic, and well designed app. It brings back my childhood of OG windows computers and playing PC web games like Myscene, Pollypocket, and more. While it’s main design is a nod to fan pages in the 90s, it gives me something new to experience as a child of 2000.

Subscription is Ridiculous. Listen, i love NewJeans, i love the girls, their personalities, the content and i just love them so much in general. i was SOOOO excited when this first came out and the app is great! it has the cutest style and i love getting to see the calendar and the photo album but i really don’t like the subscription. i'm a minor who makes money, but my parents would definitely not allow me to spend $9.00+ per month to look at pictures of k-pop girls and interact with them 💀. like i get that Ador/Hybe is trying to get extra money and stuff, but they should at least keep the photos, calendar, and live streams free since we can all of those from an outside source except for the livestreams. all other k-pop groups’ livestreams are free on Weverse so why shouldn’t us Bunnies also get to see the girls interact with us? the private messaging part should definitely have a subscription and stuff but in my whole hearted opinion, everything else should be free and accessible to everyone. a mass portion of k-pop fans are minors and most of them can’t buy the subscription since it’s so expensive or that their parents refuse to buy that for them, i wouldn’t mind if the subscription was less than $5.00 but that’s just me. thank you so much for reading through this semi rant, and NewJeans, if you’re reading this, please at least make the calendar and photos free, i love you girls!

Subscription feature. I’m a huge fan of new jeans, but I think the option to lock almost everything behind a subscription feature when people download it, makes some people annoyed. I get it you have to make money, but maybe in the future, don’t lock almost everything behind a subscription feature. I’m a fan of the app overall, don’t get me wrong. I just don’t think the subscription feature, aka locking, almost everything behind subscription is a good idea.

Good and fun but. The app is pretty nice to looks at, but what made me frustrated the most is it keeps logging me out whenever i check the new message and its just not fine. I hope they have a way to fix this because i keep logging back in every single time there is a new message

Doesn’t function. Hi, I can’t wait for the debut of the girls and got the app to support them but it sends me atleast 100 messages an hour but when I try to access it it just gives me a blank page. Also with the I.d card I’ve made one and it doesn’t come up and just gives me a blank page aswell. I’m assuming it’s because the app is still under work but that was Just some feedback I had

‼️. I don’t know why but I can’t seem to watch their lives anymore even with a good internet connection. Since i am not capable of the subscription I at least do not want to miss their lives at ALL!! My friend has the same issue aswell. I tried deleting the app and then install it again but it just doesn’t work, it just keeps loading. So please help🙏🏻 chaebal

Questionable Functionality. Hi, I absolutely love new jeans so far so Ive decided to give this app a try! However, its not working as well as it should. The purpose of the app isnt fully clear, Im assuming it functions like a second weverse? When i reopen the app after closing, I have to sign in again. Im assuming the app is in early stages so I wont be too overly critical. I just wish it was clear what buttons are for and that things would load properly. Thanks

Not for non-Korean speakers. Although some parts of the app are translated, the messages, videos, and writing seen on some of the photos is not translated. Seems like a really cool app for Korean speaking people but there’s no reason to have the app since you can’t understand the main parts of it.

hyein is a gangster. Sound effects are too loud and it scared me. Other than that I love it, I literally spent an hour making a masterpiece on the album creator.

Good but Needs Improvement and not yet Worth It. They should include at least an english cc. I don’t understand most of what New Jeans are communicating, it gets frustrating since you pay for it and you can’t comprehend anything. Lastly, the messaging doesn’t feel authentic at all. It’s like you’re talking to a bot throwing random senseless messages. It will help if users have the option to show or hide chats of other subscribers that are active on the messaging chat. Oh and one minor issue I constantly encounter is that whenever a New Jeans member video calls I always get logged out. Please fix and make improvements to make the subscription worth it!

glitching/subscription. i don’t have a lot to say but when i tried logging in, it glitches and makes me do it again. except it just doesn’t work no matter how many times it takes. update: u also have to pay for literally everything, all u can do is listen to old calls but the recent ones u need to pay for.

Good app!!. Its really cute and good but recently when they would go live I cant seem to send comments or whenever I rejoin to fix it the message bar goes away and I could only like. Is there any chance for this to be fixed?

Home page needs to be a bit more clear 3.I cant hear videos unless i turn on my ringer (fix it so that i can hear video calls with my ringer off) 4.Add games so the app is a bit more entertaining Overall i think the app is great but still in its developing era and i think it can do way better with more updates.<3

Membership road block. This app was amazing before the new update, the new paid membership blocks all content rendering the app useless unless you pay, really sad noting that the app was perfect before.

One problem. I love it lol there is a translate button on the side in the messages section that I use because I can’t understand Korean however sometimes the button gets covered when the message is too long so I cant translate

Login troubleshooting. I can’t even log into the app, it loads for like 3 seconds then take me back to the login screen, I tried continuously for 5 minutes but it would never load me in so I gave up.
