Fun but has a lot of bugs on mobile. This game definitely scratches the itch for a great town builder game. However I would like to provide some feedback to the developers: 1 - The interface does not fit on the iPad Mini (Latest Gen). The interface also has problems with pinch zoom and rotate gestures, along with being unable to bring up tooltips reliably. 2 - Certain port-to-mobile aspects were overlooked, such as “Press F to change style” text on houses. My iPad does not have an “F” key. 3 - Certain bugs are interesting, such as when placing a Forester’s Hut, the simulation of cut trees does not disappear unless you toggle the “Tree View” button off and on with a different building. It’s definitely incomplete and has unique frustrating parts of the mobile version, but I’m very hopeful the developers will work hard to eliminate the bugs. Would be 5 stars.

Double charged.. I logged in about 10 hours of game play. About a week into the game it deleted all my progress and recharged me for the whole game. I payed twice for a game I already payed for. I wouldn’t get this app this seems like a good game but it’s a scam. No other way to think tbh

Not signing up for whatever TapTap is.. Getting a refund immediately.

LOVED IT UNTIL IT CRASHED. I really thought I found my building a village from the ground up type mobile games. Finally found one that wasn’t a cheesy farming type idle game. I was so excited when I began to play it because it is very rare for a diamond like this to exist in the dirt of the mobile game world. HOWEVER!…. I couldn’t go 10 to 15 minutes without it crashing every single time, no matter how I tweaked with the settings. And this is the latest iPhone and iOS version of apple so it must be on the developmental side of the game. Shame 😔

No way they tested before porting to App Store. To start off with, this game has a good concept to play with. However, the developer was super lazy with this port that it’s not worth buying. When loading up the game, it’s all in Chinese. Why in the world would you launch a game with that? That’s the first sign they didn’t test the game before launching. Secondly, the UI/buttons and pop ups all over lap with each other. Making it extremely difficult to even navigate the in game screen. I’ve also experienced multiple hard crashes that resulted in my game save being completely wiped. It’s extremely frustrating when you sink a few hours in, and save and then the game says nope no more fun for you. And lastly, why in the world is this game an online only game? It’s a single player game with no multiplayer function. So why does it need to be online? Only reason I can think of is to track the user. Be smart and don’t buy this game. Also the developer won’t respond to any issues unless it’s about the language at the start up. If I’m Apple, I’d be removing this game from the App Store as it is an embarrassment to the store.

Runs smooth. Runs perfect, I’m on a iPhone X. The controls were a little wonky to figure out but other than that it’s a great game.

Great game. Great game guys , now i get game like that in the few days can get some low reviews but i have been waiting for such extensive settlement game for a while plus with an IPad this game is great . Problems i see while played by now are : Weird zoom in zoom out and rotate . Resources bar on the left doesn’t show the Actual resource count from the storage yard . Translations here there . When you go the the factions menu and double click on someone it crashes the window Make the mission windows lil bit smaller or just resizable if can .

This is honestly an amazing game! Worth a try and no pay to win!. Let me start by saying yes the game does have a few crashing bugs etc but as far as that goes it’s not too bad I’ve logged almost 80k hours by now haha. I love how the game is super in depth when it comes to resources. Want to make a pie? Well you need an orchard or two and a sugar farm and a sugar processing plant lol. Stuff like that that actually makes sense makes this game a 5/5 for me. I’ve hit pop 400 on my biggest one so far and I can’t put it down 😂 if you like civilization etc plz give it a try these guys need more support and I wanna see more updates!!! EDIT: game constantly crashes on multiple saves after u hit around 400-500 pop. Really disappointed I finally made it to the end game stuff and now every 3 minutes or so it crashes… plz fix your game devs it could be really good. Also making pastures for animals causes it to crash for some reason so theirs definitely a bug their.

Too many bugs. Had too many bugs I only played for a hr and then it froze and erased everything I built so I deleted it. If they can fix it, it would be a fun game.

Loved the game. Loved the game until I finished the tutorial and then my progress got deleted. I’ve had to restart 3 times due to this issue.

Pc to mobile. Love the game on PC. The handling is a bit choppy. Too much squeezed into one screen. But! The game overall is still a great game. In English, didn’t have any issues with that.

Fix camera rotating on zoom. I can’t play it because it’s too annoying.

Good game, similar to Banished.. It needs some translation updates but other than that it runs well and is pretty easy to figure out. It seems pretty in depth, I hope you keep updating the ui as well, a search function would be awesome as there are a ton of things to scroll through sometimes. I hope you remove the email requirement as well.

Unplayable. This game could be so good, but it’s practically unplayable on iPad due to such frequent crashing.

Great game, my thoughts.. Love this game! I’ve watched YouTube let’s plays in the past and was very interested in it, and now I can play on mobile! Thoughts on the game: Pros: - Compatible on Mobile - Mild battery drainage (may vary depending on Graphic Quality, FPS, phone type) - Controls are great, could be improved. Cons: - When placing anything, there is a X/Rotate/Confirm buttons that tend to be in the way. An improvement would be when moving buildings, the buttons disappear and reappear after not moving the building. - A TapTap account is required (why?). If you’re concerned about making an account, use an email that is not your personal email. - Have an option to increased font size on text. Very small (like around 5 - 8 point) to read on IOS SE 2nd Generation.

Can’t play!! Game is in Chinese!!!. Just purchased this game and it’s in Chinese. Im in America and read and speak English! Why is Apple selling games to the American public in Chinese? This makes no sense to me! What a waste of $4.99. How do I get my money back? When I click on app support it takes me to a website that is also in Chinese. Lesson learned! Don’t buy games on Apple devices!!!

Extremely lazy port. Released on the US Apple store with a default Chinese UI. A buggy, convoluted UI with no tutorial found. Maybe check back in 3-6 months to see whether these material issues have all been addressed.

Unplayable with Chinese language and mandatory 3rd party account. Game is in Chinese when I launch it and has some kind of pop up with buttons I can’t read, presumably a EULA agreement. Sorry not going to click on anything I can’t understand, so right now this game is unplayable. I’ve also read it requires a TapTap account. I’m not signing up for some random account just to play a game, and this also means it probably won’t be available for offline play. Super disappointing and will be asking for a refund immediately.

Bugs.. There are still bugs. None of the bonus spots show up on new maps.

So close….. The gameplay is there, but the UI makes it very difficult to enjoy. So much wasted potential! I will happily rate 5 stars once some design changes are made for iOS (iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPad Pro 12.9). Many of the buttons are halfway off screen or covered by the dynamic island or Home Screen indicator. The UI looks good but takes up too much of the screen with no way to minimize most elements Also - there is no cross-save support between iPhone and iPad

Recent Updates. Update 6/5/2023: I have recently noticed several graphical bugs. Some of the trees I select to have cut down remain visible even after the villagers fell them and I can no longer select those trees but if I reload the app and load my save they are gone. I have also noticed that all of the graves in my graveyard are no longer visible even though the menu shows them as filled. The other thing I have noticed is that the interface item which shows the next event will sometimes show in Chinese and so will pre-loaded/initial text in the search field for the search menu. There also seems to be an issue with roofs not showing snow on them when you zoom out. The recent updates have resolved most, if not all, of the issues brought up in other reviews, at least for me. The language settings no longer cause issues and the game does not force you to create/use a Tap Tap account. It also does not ask you to login (either as a guest or with an account) after the first time. I have not had any issues with the menus, they seem to have been cleaned up since the game initially launched but since I have not played previous versions I am only going off what I have seen others say in their reviews. Overall I am really enjoying this game.

Terrible port of a PC game. Love the Pc game, but this is crap. Even with the fix for Chinese, I still see multiple translations missing. Game hard crashes every 5-10 minutes. Horrible Ui as people said -from placement icons showing up right on your cursor to nigh impossible road building. I got no weather effects after 4 years in game - always got snow during winter in the pc game, why is the temp shown in the UI vs the month. Month is more important. This tap tap crap still bugs out. Was at the airport and game crashed and had to go authorize tap tap again. No begin game options (like extra ore or animals).

Horrible - stay away. This game has so many bugs, crashes all the time, and lost my save game.

Game is fun but keeps crashing. I really like the game and haven’t found a city building game quite like this one. However it gets extremely frustrating when it continues to crash when I’m trying to build pastures or trying to save. I then lose all of the progress I’ve made and continues to crash each time I try to continue.

Cool game. Nice game but please make it fit screen better. Some of the buttons are hard to hit due to being off the screen. I use 13 pro max and building button is almost not on screen. Please bring all edges in more to fit or make it so the user can adjust parameters.

This is the City Building game I've been waiting for.. So, I'm a half hour in and my initial thoughts. All menus are loaded in English. I did not need to create a TapTap account as there is a Guest Login option. The UI seems totally functional, but I would like to be able to minimize the Task Goal prompt. Runs great with no crashes on my iPad pro. This game looks to be amazingly deep, with none of the phony glitz of the thousands of city-building games that don't really allow much open-world freedom.

Amazing. Devs active and resolve game issues asap 5/5

Outstanding, but a bit buggy. Edit: I stand by this game being excellent for a mobile game, but it crashes so often after about 500 population that it’s pretty unsustainable to play after a certain point, and the devs seem to have given up updating. I’m talking every 5 minutes. I hate to give this game up for performance issues but I really have no choice. For any Banished fans - get this game. It’s got very similar mechanics, but more detailed buildings, processes, etc. which keep you interested, as well as added aspects like area bonuses and crime that force you to be more strategic. There are some issues - placing roads is pretty difficult on the small screen, and there is an occasional crash (usually on auto save) and bugs such as being are stuck on the help/info tooltip and not being able to select anything, but all in all it’s a pretty solid experience and one I’ll enjoy for many hours and playthroughs to come. Hopefully the devs keep actively updating.

I lost my saved game. Since update I lost my saved game.I’m getting my money back

Crashes On Start. While I believe this game will be awesome, I’m unfortunately unable to play the game. I can login and start a new game but every time I create a new settlement the game crashes and nothing saves. This has happened consistently for about 5 tries now so therefore it’s game breaking. I have an iPhone 8 which states it’s compatible with but doesn’t seem to want to. For a game with a $10 price tag, it’s a disappointing start. Once I can actually play the game without crashes I’m sure it’ll be good but until then, I can’t rate this game well, waste of money sadly

Crashing. I love this game but I can barely play past 300 population because of crashing, Please fix I’d love to continue playing

Some improvements. The language has been fixed, and TapTap is no longer required to play. The game itself looks like it offers some in-depth settlement management mechanics, and there is a tutorial in-game, but the tutorial could be refined.

Crash. Game is fantastic. However after some point it keep crashing after some minutes of game play

I love it BUT. The build bar disappears at random moments; selecting save closes the program without saving, losing the town / progress; other random bugs. The concept and gameplay are fun. The glitches, however, make this game unplayable.

Has weird bugs. Can’t get past a bug that freezes the build bar. Impossible to play. Has great mechanics from what I’ve been able to see so far though.
