This app is horrible. It constantly goes down. The swipe to load money… instead of just a simple submit button. When you swipe to load money, sometimes you scroll to another screen

Doesn’t work. Besides the inconvenience of having to add money with my navy credit card (which I only use for this purpose), logging in is a horrible experience. I reset my password (going through the hoops) twice in 15 minutes and it still didn’t work! My kid can’t see how much money he has on there, I can’t see how much money is on there.

Terrible App. This app is horrible. If you need to ensure you can load money on your card or to other people on your card timely, this is not a card for you. The app doesn’t always operate correctly so you will need to call customer service to load money. Before loading the money for you, customer service will always ask you the same questions like you’re a first-time user and do not know how to use the app. Hopefully you will get an experienced representative who will load the funds for you with five minutes. If not, you may spend 30 minutes with a representative who will then need the help of a supervisor who will load the money in two minutes. If tech support to determine why the app is not working properly, be prepared to wait 3-5 days for tech support to get back with you.

Awful App. Every time I try to log in, I have to create a new password. Then after creating the new password it says my information is incorrect. I’m now completely locked out and can not even log in. The customer service is useless and could not help. I am a huge fan of Navy Federal and this is really sad they put their name on this product. If anyone reads this review and is able to help, please let me know.

Password prompt. Too often you have to enter password even after having app remember password or use face recognition/biometrics.. the point it for app to use security in place not still make you enter passwords :-( !!

Go App needs work. I can not access my accounts. It says, unable to log in. So, I tried the website. It logs in. It shows the account, but then when I go to add funds it asks for my login again. After I verify my log in and select add funds to a cards listed, it asks for my log in again and just keeps circling around.

APP is useless. Can’t even login to this thing. Have to utilize the website for anything to do with the GO prepaid card. Must be different developers for the NFCU APP. Maybe you should contact them to figure it out.

Stuck in a Log-in/Log-Out Loop. Navy Federal should be embarrassed by this app. App is poor quality, at best. However, it is now completely unusable. Loading money from my Red Navy Fed check card fails every time. Credentials correct. Phone and app up to date. Internet connection is good. App is just garbage.

Ok now. Let me say I was having the same issues as everyone else. However I figured the issue out. Even though you already set up an account prior to receiving your card, after I activated my card I had to recreate a mobile account. Now the app works great and I was able to set up Face ID and a passcode.

Good but… not. This app is good for kids that are starting for a debit card. However the wait time for something’s are absurdly long. Just know that you might have to wait a while for a e-mail confirmation.

Facial recognition. It makes no since that I repeatedly have to continue to set up my facial recognition, my face doesn’t change. Imagine developers if every few weeks you had to do this with your iPhone. Get better. Go back to tech school and learn how to make a better app. This technology can’t be that tough literally 80% of my apps use facial recognition. I agree with other reviewers, this is an underwhelming product for the power-house NFCU. But I bet the CEOs have no clue how bad a product they represent.

Me. This is the Adage fixing something that was not broken. Now we have this crappy app that does not work. If the goal was to have people stop using this card then I guess success is assured

Zero. Giving this 1 star falsely elevates its rating. Cant even sign in. Doesn’t acknowledge my email or phone, both of which are embedded in the site already. Can access on laptop but this app is worthless.

The app is garbage. How can my password work on the desktop site and not on the app? Literally the same information is being entered and the app is telling me that my credentials are not correct. Love the idea of this program but hate the app.

Log in. Tried many times to log in on app never lets me app tells me wrong info. I can only view my account from laptop.

Can’t Load Money. I had the first App and it worked great. Now this new app has no use. I can’t add an external account to transfer money and there is no option to load money. There is an option to request money but how do I request money from an email, phone, or an app if I can’t link them to a money account? This app doesn't make sense! Bring back the old App!!

Slow, and sometimes never connects. This new app version is slow to load and connect. When trying to load funds, sometimes it never gets to the card screen to add them, just spins indefinitely. The old app was better. This one needs help.

Unable to login. App will not allow me to login even after resetting password. Only way to add funds/manage card is through the website.

Can’t confirm my information. Been trying for an hour to confirm my email address. Kinda hard to do when there’s no confirmation link being sent. Lol The app has never performed well, so I’m not that surprised. The regular Navy Federal app works very well, but this one?? Who developed this thing?

Terrible…. Terrible app that is slow and barely functional. There is not much you can do with this app and it doesn’t even coincide with the website. I’m closing this account and switching to Bluebird. I can’t even add myself as a card holder so that I can set up alerts even though the account is in my name!

Crap App. This garbage app doesn’t work properly and continually kicks back to the main screen when trying to log in.

Can’t Use It!. I can’t even access the app. It worked fine when I got the card and for a couple of months afterwards, but now I can’t access the app, even when I reset the password (again and again). What good is the card if you can’t put any money onto it because the app is pretty much useless.

Can’t add multiple cards. The old app I could have multiple cards this new app is not user friendly and I can’t add more than one card to it.

Unable to Login. This app is absolutely useless. I’ve changed my password multiple times. Still can’t log in to my account. Just use the web page and run far away from this app. It’s a waste of your time.

Same review as others-doesn’t work. Now that they migrated from the navy federal prepaid app I have been unable to load money on the card. Help desk escalated my issue twice but no action. It appears they can’t fix or help. As soon as we get thru one issue another stops us. I give up. If anyone has a contact at navy federal who can make a change for the better pls post. Ridiculous.

Doesn’t Work. Better off using the web browser. This app doesn’t work and customer service is no help. Delete and use the web browser.

Cannot comprehend how an app can be this problematic. Worked passably well for a while but now just gave up and keeps sending me back to the login screen. Of course, no info on this from NFCU or any reliable ways to get around this bug, so there’s effectively no way to manage the card at all. How fun!

Love NavyFed Hate this App. This app is absolutely terrible. I’ve lost count how many times I have tried to log in to add funds, and receive an incorrect password message. The password constantly has to be reset only to be told the new password is also incorrect. I had hoped when the app changed to GOPrepaid it would improve, but it hasn’t. Customer service is no help either.

Bad customer service and shipping. Paid for expedited shipping. Received no tracking number and instead of 2-3 business days, it takes 4-5 for the extra $10 they charge. I hope the card works when I finally get it since they took the money immediately but can’t tell me when it will get here. Don’t waste your money and they don’t have the tracking either. They can’t tell you that. Never had a problem with the bank. This is really bringing their service down. Customer service was absolutely useless.

This is a horrible excuse for an app. Now and then for an unknown reason the app will not open on my phone. I check my account on the computer and all good. I bite the bullet and call customer service. They say all is well and to change password and user name??? Then try reloading app. Must be their standard script! I check app on another phone in family and theirs works. After not trying my app for 3 hours, suddenly all is well. Not what I need awY from home and need to load money. NEEDS WORK AND ANYONE CAN SAY REDO EVERYTHING AND START OVER! Not reliable!

Worst prepaid card ever. NFCU constantly blocks the transfer of funds to the card. Hours on the phone to resolve every single time and even then, some never get resolved. Ridiculous to promote this card through the credit union. Save time and effort and get Greenlight.

Would give it 0 stars if I could. I…can…never…login using this app. I would give it zero stars if I could. My credentials never work. I always have to use the website. The app is useless and needs an update. It is obvious that they don’t read these comments otherwise, they would have updated the app. I am going to close this account and just use my Amex Serve. Even though I run the risk of some companies not taking Amex, at least their app works.

Slow Login and Won't Accept Password. It's all fun and games until this app takes so long to get me to the login page and won't even accept my password that has been NEVER changed since I started using it. It's been working in the past but suddenly it's all out of the loop. Call me paranoid but if this stays like this the entire day, I'm switching to something else. I want to see my finances, thanks.

Crashes. So the developers need to do better. I know my pin and my facial recognition definitely is supposed to work but the app will not authenticate me. Removed it and will re-install it to see if it resolves my issue but this should not be happening.

The Worst. Absolutely the worst financial app or card I have ever used. No customer service assistance and clunky interface that is not user friendly. Do not recommend.

Nothing works. The issue of even being able to login is beyond frustrating. And the only reason I tried do use the app was because the webpage is also trash. Put some actual effort into these things. Or I’m going to look elsewhere to hold my money.

Can’t login anymore. Keeps prompting for login credentials. Just reset my password and it loads the account page for 1 second then goes back to the login screen. Useless.

Do better NFCU. A disservice to life long customers. You replaced an App that worked with an App that has been faulty from the start. Between GO and Buxx, I’m no longer confident my children’s balances are accurate and accessible. Why replace an app that worked with an app that doesn’t. Even worse, deny access to the app that works before determining the issues with the app that doesn’t.

Designed by drunken monkeys. This has to be the worst app ever designed. It is not easy to use. It is not intuitive. It is barely functional! It makes ZERO sense! The biometric login function is useless, because it constantly expires, requiring you to enter your password. THEN! …when you do get logged in, and go to reenable biometric login, it requires your password a second time! WHY????? It I was able to login to the app, using the password, what benefit is there to making me enter it again, to turn on biometrics????? Do you seriously think I hacked the password the first time, then forgot what it was???? On top of that, the app is bot convenient, in the least. Even if you save a credit or debit card, to recharge the GO card, you ALWAYS have to enter the CVV to add money to the card. That means EVERY stinkin’ time, you have to get your card, to reload money!!! Again, WHY???????. What is the point of saving the card information if I have to grab the card EVERY STINKING TIME, to get the CVV. To say that the morons who designed this app are drunken monkeys is a kindness and a gross understatement!

Do Not Waste Your Time. This is the single worst banking product I’ve ever used in my life. I wish I would have read the reviews before getting it. Everything about this program is more difficult than it needs to be and the “ease” of use they tout when you sign up is nowhere to be found. The customer service is completely worthless, if you could even say it exists, which would be stretch. The whole reason I got this account was so I could get multiple cards in my family’s names and I can’t even do that. This product is absolutely pathetic, please please please do not waste your time and sanity with navy fed go prepaid. Worthless.

Confusing app. And customer service rep.. I got the Go Prepaid card to send money to my mom a few years ago. Since I down loaded this app to send monthly allowances it has worked 3 times. Every other time I spend a good 30 min troubleshooting before I give up and call the customer service center, I tell them my issue and every time they can’t fix it but say it will be resolved in the near future, like I mentioned before it has not been solved in almost 3 years later. What a nightmare. It always ends up with me asking the rep to make the transfer for me. What is the point of this app.

Invalid app and card. Unable to view information on app, reps do not know why i can’t log into app using phone or email. Reset password and still unable to log into app. Rep doesn’t know what the app should look like but tries to explain the name and GO. This card doesn’t work at times when using at stores which is embarrassing. Fix it or discontinue the pre paid card. Why is this card not linked to bank account to regulate. I have funds on the card.

App is worthless at times. There doesn’t seem to be any support for the app. It constantly fails to allow login. I turned off Face ID and the pin did not work. Attempted the password and received a flash of the app logging in before it returned to the log in screen. Great idea but I will be looking for a new card I can manage easier and receives support.

Customer service reps don’t even know. The customer service reps don’t even know what is going on anymore. I have been calling in for months, since the initial release in March, and have gotten zero help or answers. This last time I called, I finally got an honest rep who literally said “None of us know what is going on, they won’t tell us anything, we learn about all the issues when the customers call in. There is no timeframe for fixing anything.” I am furious. Navy Federal marketed this program as a BUDGETING TOOL. So that’s what we use it as! And now we are screwed because we can’t budget properly anymore, and I’m about to switch back to good hard CASH because this entire program is just one giant joke on all of us to get us to abandon ship and use credit cards instead so the bank makes more money off of it. After 8 months of ZERO FIXES since the release, I’m convinced that’s what they want - for us to stop using this program so they can make more money off of credit usage. Screw you, Navy Federal.

App crashes often. Love the idea of keeping funds separate on prepaid cards to manage spending and cash flow each month. I do NOT love the app crashing or not logging into my account. Renders everything useless if you can’t check your accounts and manage everything when you need to. PLEASE FIX BUGS AND APP CRASHING or I’ll have to find another way to manage money. PLEASE!

Garbage excuse of an app. I agree with everyone else about this stupid app, I think after a certain amount of times you log in to the app it just gives up on you and doesn’t let you log in anymore. What is the point of making a separate app for a prepaid card if the developers are just gonna stop updating it at a certain point. Whoever made this app should get fired and also go back to school and relearn comp sci because they can’t do a bug fix which could possibly be the easiest fix ever.

Mobile App not working. Horrible App. They need to read the reviews, listen to feedback from customer calls and make some changes with the service and team members. When trying to log into the app, I kept getting kicked out to the main screen to either create an account or activate my card. I called and was transferred to someone in the “apps” department. Juan had NO CLUE on what to do or say. After explaining my issue, his next response was to ask for my card number and name on card. I asked him why, and he responded that he was going to tell me my current balance and recent transactions. I DIDNT CALL YOU FOR THAT!!! I wanted to know what was going on my access to the app, the main purpose of having the app was for convenience of not having to call someone. He then responded that he didn’t know, he will submit a ticket to have someone reach out in 3-5 days. WHAT?!?! Soooo who are you again Juan, what department is this again?!?! Make it make sense Navy Federal…

Don’t work. i just spent 30 minutes trying to set up the mobile account….after i agree to terms it takes me back to the beginning——an endless continuous loop…pleeease fix…never had issues with buxx..smh

Can’t create account. I have always had issues with the prepaid apps. It won’t allow me to activate my child’s card via the app and it won’t let me create an account for the app. The app is basically pointless. Very frustrating!

Class listen up. For me this app reflect navy federal strong commitment to great customer service 5 stars great job on this App, I followed instructions register follow directions then done no problems for me.

Useless App. Old App is way more better. Keep calling to resolve my issue and keep telling me the only way to resolve is put an escalation ticket and wait 5 days. after 5 days past and try to call again still the same issue. I did it for like 3 times so about 3 weeks of waiting. Until now no luck with the app. I have to log in to reload my card. Useless hopefully Navy Fed resolve this issue.

Cannot create mobile account with App. App keeps on kicking back to first screen when I am trying to create a mobile account. Have emailed customer service and they emailed step by step instructions. Those do not help. Each time I get to step 3, accept terms agreement I get kicked back to the first screen. Very frustrating experience.

App wont allow sign in. When I call the customer service number, they transfer me to Mobile App. Mobile App doesn’t know how go-prepaid works, they cant ‘see’ my account or help me reset the account to allow log on.

Flaws. If NFCU would have worked out the kinks before rolling out the new app it would be great. However, they apparently didn’t ask those of us that use it on a regular basis. Already annoyed…. Why have me go through Face ID and pin set up (for log in) if I can’t use these feature on a brand new iPhone 13 pro max!? I will say that the app itself does look more appealing than the previous app, which looked like a 2001 PC video game. I love you Nfcu, but please do better and fix some issues!

The app update makes the app unusable. When the app was updated it now says unable to log in like my password is wrong. I changed my password then it says my new password is wrong. It’s ridiculous. Please hire an app designer who actually knows what they are doing cause they f’ed this up.

Not up to NFCU Standards. Why would NFCU allow such a poor app to be released without fixing the problems. You can not add multiple cards or get text notifications about daily balance, card activity…ect. Not getting notified about card activity is a deal breaker. If it is not corrected soon I will cancel this unacceptable card. Somebody should be called on the carpet for this inferior product.

Go Prepaid. I have two (2) of the new NFCU go prepaid cards. I have added one of them to the mobile app. However, I have noticed that the app won’t let you add another card to it. Help me solve this issue. Thanks.

Still not right. I was told I would be able to see all my cards after March 15. I still can only see the one. With the old one I was able to access all of my cards even if was with individual logins but now I have to go to the website for three out of four

Endless Loop. Try to create mobile account, enter card info then takes me back to the Home Screen. Try to activate card, enter card info then takes me back to the Home Screen. Have new card for my teen and not getting anywhere with anything to do with this card.

Multiple card feature gone. It is very important that they bring back the multiple card feature. I have 4 cards and I can’t use 3 of them because I can’t use my phone number more than once to set up my other cards.

It’s Great When It Works. It’s can take some time to log in. Always has issue or ask to update/ have to change passcode. When it works, it’s a quick log in to check balance and transfer money onto cards.

Not Working. The app is not letting me log in or create an account. I can still log into the old app and see my information. So it’s like nothing transferred over. I have called the help desk a couple times and still nothing. This app is terrible, come on Navy Fed you can do better than this!

Why is it so complicated compared to the old one. The new app is NOT user friendly! It’s complicated and takes several tries to load funds. Hard to use to add money to Apple Pay. Log in Defective. Every time I try to log in, my password will not work and I have to reset my password. Fingerprint feature does not work either. Needs a fix immediately in order for the app to be feasibly useful! Very annoying to have to reset password each time!

Love the update!!. I love using the Navy Federal Go Prepaid app!! It’s very user friendly! I know others are complaining about the update, but I haven’t had not one issue yet! So far the app runs smoothly!

Crashes. So the developers need to do better. I know my pin and my facial recognition definitely is supposed to work but the app will not authenticate me. Removed it and will re-install it to see if it resolves my issue but this should not be happening.

Terrible…. Terrible app that is slow and barely functional. There is not much you can do with this app and it doesn’t even coincide with the website. I’m closing this account and switching to Bluebird. I can’t even add myself as a card holder so that I can set up alerts even though the account is in my name!

Still not working. This app has been a headache since the first time I tried using it. I cannot log into this to activate the Buxx turned GO. I cannot set up a new account. And when I call customer service, they cannot help with the app. Cannot wait to get the money out and shut this down.

Doesn’t work. Besides the inconvenience of having to add money with my navy credit card (which I only use for this purpose), logging in is a horrible experience. I reset my password (going through the hoops) twice in 15 minutes and it still didn’t work! My kid can’t see how much money he has on there, I can’t see how much money is on there.

Not Functional. I’ve installed this twice with same non-function. It would not permit logon with correct credentials. The help line was no help as I waited 15 minutes and no one picked up. Very disappointed as I regularly utilized the previous GO app with seamless ease.

Saying information does not match. I keep trying to login after changing my password multiple times and it says my information does not match ? I hate having to use explorer for things apps make it more convenient and quick.

Can’t Load Money. I had the first App and it worked great. Now this new app has no use. I can’t add an external account to transfer money and there is no option to load money. There is an option to request money but how do I request money from an email, phone, or an app if I can’t link them to a money account? This app doesn't make sense! Bring back the old App!!

Amateur Hour. Wondering if the NFCU app developers have ever used any other banking apps. Setting up user permissions on this app (even after having existing logins for the related website) is a futile exercise. It’s bad enough that I need a separate app (from the NFCU banking app) to load an NFCU prepaid card. But, now I need a complete set of new/different login credentials? Waste of time.
