Confusing app. And customer service rep.. I got the Go Prepaid card to send money to my mom a few years ago. Since I down loaded this app to send monthly allowances it has worked 3 times. Every other time I spend a good 30 min troubleshooting before I give up and call the customer service center, I tell them my issue and every time they can’t fix it but say it will be resolved in the near future, like I mentioned before it has not been solved in almost 3 years later. What a nightmare. It always ends up with me asking the rep to make the transfer for me. What is the point of this app.

No technical issues as of yet, but lack of necessary features. When I chose to use prepaid cards, it was partially due to the marketing from Navy Federal to use it as a “bucket” system. This was perfect for me, as I was looking for a way to control my spending and revamp the Envelope System. This app makes that hard. The option to add multiple cards to the app is hard to find, but there is an option to do so. The problem is that all the cards have the same name, the name of whoever the cardholder is. If you are using the cards for different people, it is easier, as each card in the app will be named after the person the card is assigned to. If you are using the cards for yourself as buckets, each card is named after you, making it hard to tell which card is which. The cards are color coded, but the option to simply label each card makes more sense imo, instead of having to remember which utility is which color. There’s also no option to switch the colors or personalize them. This is especially frustrating because when you initially set up your GO cards, you can choose to make them different colors so you can tell the difference, but those colors are not the same in the app. This means if my “groceries and essentials” card is the orange one, it may be green in the app. Not a huge deal, but odd since the online banking on the actual NF website allows for card labeling and even changing the order they are listed. Also, the design of the app def needs work. It is not very intuitive and when you open the app, instead of opening to a basic overview of each card you have, along with available balances, it opens to one particular card. Most users want to be able to open an app, see a grid or list view summary of each account/card and be able to select an item to view that particular card/account…kind of like how the NF banking app is set up. There really needs to be a beta process or app for this that uses user input to improve the actual product. An app that someone needs to use on the fly should be much more intuitive and user friendly.

Can’t Load Money. I had the first App and it worked great. Now this new app has no use. I can’t add an external account to transfer money and there is no option to load money. There is an option to request money but how do I request money from an email, phone, or an app if I can’t link them to a money account? This app doesn't make sense! Bring back the old App!!

Do better NFCU. A disservice to life long customers. You replaced an App that worked with an App that has been faulty from the start. Between GO and Buxx, I’m no longer confident my children’s balances are accurate and accessible. Why replace an app that worked with an app that doesn’t. Even worse, deny access to the app that works before determining the issues with the app that doesn’t.

Good but… not. This app is good for kids that are starting for a debit card. However the wait time for something’s are absurdly long. Just know that you might have to wait a while for a e-mail confirmation.

The Worst. Absolutely the worst financial app or card I have ever used. No customer service assistance and clunky interface that is not user friendly. Do not recommend.

Me. This is the Adage fixing something that was not broken. Now we have this crappy app that does not work. If the goal was to have people stop using this card then I guess success is assured

Password prompt. Too often you have to enter password even after having app remember password or use face recognition/biometrics.. the point it for app to use security in place not still make you enter passwords :-( !!

Fix it NFCU. The app doesn’t work.. I want an app that works! Would you want Marines in battle that don’t function properly? Didn’t think so.

Can’t confirm my information. Been trying for an hour to confirm my email address. Kinda hard to do when there’s no confirmation link being sent. Lol The app has never performed well, so I’m not that surprised. The regular Navy Federal app works very well, but this one?? Who developed this thing?

Can’t Use It!. I can’t even access the app. It worked fine when I got the card and for a couple of months afterwards, but now I can’t access the app, even when I reset the password (again and again). What good is the card if you can’t put any money onto it because the app is pretty much useless.

Would give it 0 stars if I could. I…can…never…login using this app. I would give it zero stars if I could. My credentials never work. I always have to use the website. The app is useless and needs an update. It is obvious that they don’t read these comments otherwise, they would have updated the app. I am going to close this account and just use my Amex Serve. Even though I run the risk of some companies not taking Amex, at least their app works.

One of the worst apps to ever exist. I would honestly rather go back to trading bear pelts than to use this app. It is simply non-functioning and pointless. I can’t believe this is a NFCU product.

Worst prepaid card ever. NFCU constantly blocks the transfer of funds to the card. Hours on the phone to resolve every single time and even then, some never get resolved. Ridiculous to promote this card through the credit union. Save time and effort and get Greenlight.

Log in. Tried many times to log in on app never lets me app tells me wrong info. I can only view my account from laptop.

Love NavyFed Hate this App. This app is absolutely terrible. I’ve lost count how many times I have tried to log in to add funds, and receive an incorrect password message. The password constantly has to be reset only to be told the new password is also incorrect. I had hoped when the app changed to GOPrepaid it would improve, but it hasn’t. Customer service is no help either.

Go App needs work. I can not access my accounts. It says, unable to log in. So, I tried the website. It logs in. It shows the account, but then when I go to add funds it asks for my login again. After I verify my log in and select add funds to a cards listed, it asks for my log in again and just keeps circling around.

Stuck in a Log-in/Log-Out Loop. Navy Federal should be embarrassed by this app. App is poor quality, at best. However, it is now completely unusable. Loading money from my Red Navy Fed check card fails every time. Credentials correct. Phone and app up to date. Internet connection is good. App is just garbage.

Nothing works. The issue of even being able to login is beyond frustrating. And the only reason I tried do use the app was because the webpage is also trash. Put some actual effort into these things. Or I’m going to look elsewhere to hold my money.

Garbage excuse of an app. I agree with everyone else about this stupid app, I think after a certain amount of times you log in to the app it just gives up on you and doesn’t let you log in anymore. What is the point of making a separate app for a prepaid card if the developers are just gonna stop updating it at a certain point. Whoever made this app should get fired and also go back to school and relearn comp sci because they can’t do a bug fix which could possibly be the easiest fix ever.

Same review as others-doesn’t work. Now that they migrated from the navy federal prepaid app I have been unable to load money on the card. Help desk escalated my issue twice but no action. It appears they can’t fix or help. As soon as we get thru one issue another stops us. I give up. If anyone has a contact at navy federal who can make a change for the better pls post. Ridiculous.

Unacceptable. This app is useless no help from customer service always a problem

Can’t login anymore. Keeps prompting for login credentials. Just reset my password and it loads the account page for 1 second then goes back to the login screen. Useless.

Customer service reps don’t even know. The customer service reps don’t even know what is going on anymore. I have been calling in for months, since the initial release in March, and have gotten zero help or answers. This last time I called, I finally got an honest rep who literally said “None of us know what is going on, they won’t tell us anything, we learn about all the issues when the customers call in. There is no timeframe for fixing anything.” I am furious. Navy Federal marketed this program as a BUDGETING TOOL. So that’s what we use it as! And now we are screwed because we can’t budget properly anymore, and I’m about to switch back to good hard CASH because this entire program is just one giant joke on all of us to get us to abandon ship and use credit cards instead so the bank makes more money off of it. After 8 months of ZERO FIXES since the release, I’m convinced that’s what they want - for us to stop using this program so they can make more money off of credit usage. Screw you, Navy Federal.

App is garbage. Just got the app and can't even get past the enrollment process to create an account. It says "sent a text to verify your number" and tried this multiple times and never received a text. App is unusable

Unable to login. App will not allow me to login even after resetting password. Only way to add funds/manage card is through the website.

Ok now. Let me say I was having the same issues as everyone else. However I figured the issue out. Even though you already set up an account prior to receiving your card, after I activated my card I had to recreate a mobile account. Now the app works great and I was able to set up Face ID and a passcode.

APP is useless. Can’t even login to this thing. Have to utilize the website for anything to do with the GO prepaid card. Must be different developers for the NFCU APP. Maybe you should contact them to figure it out.

This app is horrible. It constantly goes down. The swipe to load money… instead of just a simple submit button. When you swipe to load money, sometimes you scroll to another screen

Face ID. I’m so over the Face ID expiring and having to reset it all the time. My bank app for Navy Fed doesn’t do this, so why does the Go Prepaid do this?

Can’t add multiple cards. The old app I could have multiple cards this new app is not user friendly and I can’t add more than one card to it.

Awful App. Every time I try to log in, I have to create a new password. Then after creating the new password it says my information is incorrect. I’m now completely locked out and can not even log in. The customer service is useless and could not help. I am a huge fan of Navy Federal and this is really sad they put their name on this product. If anyone reads this review and is able to help, please let me know.

Cannot comprehend how an app can be this problematic. Worked passably well for a while but now just gave up and keeps sending me back to the login screen. Of course, no info on this from NFCU or any reliable ways to get around this bug, so there’s effectively no way to manage the card at all. How fun!

Mobile App not working. Horrible App. They need to read the reviews, listen to feedback from customer calls and make some changes with the service and team members. When trying to log into the app, I kept getting kicked out to the main screen to either create an account or activate my card. I called and was transferred to someone in the “apps” department. Juan had NO CLUE on what to do or say. After explaining my issue, his next response was to ask for my card number and name on card. I asked him why, and he responded that he was going to tell me my current balance and recent transactions. I DIDNT CALL YOU FOR THAT!!! I wanted to know what was going on my access to the app, the main purpose of having the app was for convenience of not having to call someone. He then responded that he didn’t know, he will submit a ticket to have someone reach out in 3-5 days. WHAT?!?! Soooo who are you again Juan, what department is this again?!?! Make it make sense Navy Federal…

Not allowing login. 17 Sept 2023, cannot login via app. Enter password, starts showing details, then immediately goes back to requiring the password.

Doesn’t work. Besides the inconvenience of having to add money with my navy credit card (which I only use for this purpose), logging in is a horrible experience. I reset my password (going through the hoops) twice in 15 minutes and it still didn’t work! My kid can’t see how much money he has on there, I can’t see how much money is on there.

Crap App. This garbage app doesn’t work properly and continually kicks back to the main screen when trying to log in.

PERFECT GARBAGE CARD & CUSTOMER SERVICE!. These people are in capable of customer service skills. Nobody’s on the same page they’re in capable of even holding accountability to each department. Everybody wants to point fingers in the air and use an automated service by saying I’m sorry you feel this way I’m so sorry but there’s no accountability behind their statement, my experience as a loyal consumer is, I’m paying these people to keep my money but then when I’m asking to transfer money from the gold card to my checking account of sudden, I have no access to the app and I have to troubleshoot the app myself! So then what am I paying you to keep my money for so I can do everything myself I close the account today I will never do business with this garbage card. If you need stress in your life and you’re angry, do business with these people, but if you’d like peace in your life, in a smooth transition, where if you need to move money out from the garbage go, kart, do not do business with these people. They’re very incapable of even doing the simplest thing which is customer service skills and communication and listening.

App crashes often. Love the idea of keeping funds separate on prepaid cards to manage spending and cash flow each month. I do NOT love the app crashing or not logging into my account. Renders everything useless if you can’t check your accounts and manage everything when you need to. PLEASE FIX BUGS AND APP CRASHING or I’ll have to find another way to manage money. PLEASE!

App is worthless at times. There doesn’t seem to be any support for the app. It constantly fails to allow login. I turned off Face ID and the pin did not work. Attempted the password and received a flash of the app logging in before it returned to the log in screen. Great idea but I will be looking for a new card I can manage easier and receives support.

Facial recognition. It makes no since that I repeatedly have to continue to set up my facial recognition, my face doesn’t change. Imagine developers if every few weeks you had to do this with your iPhone. Get better. Go back to tech school and learn how to make a better app. This technology can’t be that tough literally 80% of my apps use facial recognition. I agree with other reviewers, this is an underwhelming product for the power-house NFCU. But I bet the CEOs have no clue how bad a product they represent.

Terrible…. Terrible app that is slow and barely functional. There is not much you can do with this app and it doesn’t even coincide with the website. I’m closing this account and switching to Bluebird. I can’t even add myself as a card holder so that I can set up alerts even though the account is in my name!

Crashes. So the developers need to do better. I know my pin and my facial recognition definitely is supposed to work but the app will not authenticate me. Removed it and will re-install it to see if it resolves my issue but this should not be happening.

Unable to Login. This app is absolutely useless. I’ve changed my password multiple times. Still can’t log in to my account. Just use the web page and run far away from this app. It’s a waste of your time.

App doesn’t work. The app is useless. It doesn’t work for mobile registration and there are no answers to the problems the app has in a FAQs section.

Bad customer service and shipping. Paid for expedited shipping. Received no tracking number and instead of 2-3 business days, it takes 4-5 for the extra $10 they charge. I hope the card works when I finally get it since they took the money immediately but can’t tell me when it will get here. Don’t waste your money and they don’t have the tracking either. They can’t tell you that. Never had a problem with the bank. This is really bringing their service down. Customer service was absolutely useless.

Not the Navy Federal Experience. This app is not the quality experience I’ve come to know and enjoy with Navy Federal. The fact that the app won’t even let me log in is really dismal.

Terrible App. This app is horrible. If you need to ensure you can load money on your card or to other people on your card timely, this is not a card for you. The app doesn’t always operate correctly so you will need to call customer service to load money. Before loading the money for you, customer service will always ask you the same questions like you’re a first-time user and do not know how to use the app. Hopefully you will get an experienced representative who will load the funds for you with five minutes. If not, you may spend 30 minutes with a representative who will then need the help of a supervisor who will load the money in two minutes. If tech support to determine why the app is not working properly, be prepared to wait 3-5 days for tech support to get back with you.

Slow, and sometimes never connects. This new app version is slow to load and connect. When trying to load funds, sometimes it never gets to the card screen to add them, just spins indefinitely. The old app was better. This one needs help.

Total Confusion. Does not work properly trying to put it nicely.

Still not working. This app has been a headache since the first time I tried using it. I cannot log into this to activate the Buxx turned GO. I cannot set up a new account. And when I call customer service, they cannot help with the app. Cannot wait to get the money out and shut this down.

Much Improved Since Initial Release.. Login credentials including Face ID are now working consistently. Previously I had to remove and reload the app then then set up a new mobile account for the card. As others have said, we really need to be able to manage multiple card accounts with the app on a single mobile device. I manage 3 accounts and just have the one phone (and one phone number). I can do it with a browser but it would be nice to be able to switch accounts using the mobile app. I’ve started a discussion thread on the bogleheads forum to discuss the new Go Card. I’m not sure I can link to it but a search for NFCU Go Card and bogleheads should get you there.

Cannot create mobile account with App. App keeps on kicking back to first screen when I am trying to create a mobile account. Have emailed customer service and they emailed step by step instructions. Those do not help. Each time I get to step 3, accept terms agreement I get kicked back to the first screen. Very frustrating experience.

Missing Multiple card feature. New app requires that a mobile account be setup using my phone number/email address. This is ok but makes it impossible to add multiple cards. When trying to add a second card it tells me the phone number is already in use the multi card feature could be added inside the mobile login account on the screen where you go to select the card you want to fund. This way all the cards are in the same place. And also please add the nickname feature. It makes it easier to identify the cards. Needs a fix soon. Thanks.

App. I really did expect better from NF. This app is trash. You put your number in it tells you it isn’t valid. You try and transfer money it tells unable to transfer. You call customer service they place a ticket and you don’t get a call back. I might as well keep my money. Don’t waste your time they where better off partnering with Square.

Got it working but had to use a different email. First I would like to say that once you have it working it seems to work well. I don’t have multiple cards so I can’t comment on that experience. But it is much better than the previous app, that I had to close before using, or else it would crash. If your email has a dash in the domain forget about trying to verify it, because it strips them out and sends it to an address without the dashes. Even though I told them that two weeks ago, they told me it was fixed. It wasn’t. Luckily after they deleted my account I was able to enter a different email and continue the process. If they went through bug testing at all, they need another team. It is far superior than using the website on mobile, but that is only if you can get in.

Absolute worst app EVER!!!. The app is completely useless. You can never login to it. Even after resetting your password, you can’t login. Delete the app and reinstall, and it wants you to activate a card you’ve already activated. Whoever developed the GO card and app needs to be dragged out into the street and burned at the stake!

Not good. This app is in need of work. My husband and I each have our own cards but we can’t use the same email address for the account, and currently the app is treating him like a child. It won’t let him “load funds” - only “request funds.” I was on the phone with customer service and they were friendly, but didn’t solve the problem and then the system hung up on me. There are also several layers of logging in when setting up the account that just seem unnecessary. Kind of don’t want to keep using this until it’s improved.

Useless App. Old App is way more better. Keep calling to resolve my issue and keep telling me the only way to resolve is put an escalation ticket and wait 5 days. after 5 days past and try to call again still the same issue. I did it for like 3 times so about 3 weeks of waiting. Until now no luck with the app. I have to log in to reload my card. Useless hopefully Navy Fed resolve this issue.

If you have further questions or concerns, please let us know. I think this message should be seen by the highest levels of management at NFCU. Subject app has been a disaster since it was deployed 9 months ago. There have been 3 revisions since then. Each one gives an update history that includes work done which was not done. And does not include work that should have been done. The features for use, for the most part do not exist. Adding a card is not easy. Creating a user name and password is not easy. The rating in apple app store is 1.5 out of 5. Almost all the reviews are negative. The old app worked just fine except that it did not have a chip reader. Furthermore, the web site is almost as bad with login/password/activation issues. The only thing its good for is adding/requesting funds, a functionality that the mobile app does not have. My wife's card was denied to day when she used the chip reader. i will try again tomorrow. i love everything about NFCU except for this issue. New app needs some improvement. While the updates have fixed many of the things wrong. It still lacks some of the features that would make it perfect. Lack of support for notifications. Showing the status of transactions if they have cleared. Still receiving duplicates SMS messages for every notification, but it works.

Thanks Navy Fed. Thank you navy federal for screwing up a system that was actually working fine. This new go prepaid fiasco you implemented does not work. Why do I have to create new accounts? We attempt to create new accounts it tells us it’s already created. Then when we attempt to log in, it tells us we are unsuccessful. Then when we select forgot user name/pw it tells us we are not found. Of course the phone support was useless too.

Just terrible. I cannot even make a mobile account. The app asks for the card number, whether I’m the acct holder or card holder, asks me to agree to the policy, asks for my phone/email and password, then takes me right back to the start page where I originally clicked on make mobile account. It’s a continuous loop. I can’t set up the mobile account and therefore cannot load funds onto this card.

If u have multiple cards ur screwed. We love the go prepaid cards because we use the “envelope method.” This allows us to place money on cards for certain things and not interfere with our regular account. When the new cards came out, we were no longer able to use more than one card. It messed us up. U can add one card to the app, but u have to call in to the automated system to do anything with the other cards. Please fix this NFCU.

Trash app. The app keeps going in and out when you log in.

Doesn’t work. New app will not allow me to fund my kids card…old app was way easier.

Needs Work. It’s new so hopefully things will improve. Here are my observations. 1) The app doesn’t display correctly in zoom mode. Critical things are covered over or are shifted off screen making it hard to enter text. 2) Face ID not is working and or login credentials aren’t being memorized on my iPhone 13 pro (fingerprint id works on the 5S though). Whatever it is, I’m forced to always enter my password. The 6 digit passcode doesn’t seem to work either. 3) I set up the app for a card holder and it works but the greeting under “My Updates” says “Good Evening, (Account-Owner’s-Name)!” Instead of the card holder’s name. (minor problem). 4) Seems there’s No longer a way to login with more then one account owner cards on a single phone. The old app allowed selecting from multiple accounts prior to login. I manage 3 SNTrust accounts and have 3 account owner cards. I can’t set them all up on a single phone as I did with the old app.

Very disappointed and frustrated. This new app is absolutely useless! Neither myself or my son can gain access to our accounts (as the notification boasted about us being able to use our old login information for the new app). Every time we try to “create a member account” if takes us through the same prompts, only to return us to the main page with no successful outcome. I have now been on hold for 30 minutes and still waiting for a rep to get on the line to help me.

Flaws. If NFCU would have worked out the kinks before rolling out the new app it would be great. However, they apparently didn’t ask those of us that use it on a regular basis. PLEASE FIX THE APP as we are unable to add more than one card to the account because it will not allow the mobile number to be used more than once.

It’s Great When It Works. It’s can take some time to log in. Always has issue or ask to update/ have to change passcode. When it works, it’s a quick log in to check balance and transfer money onto cards.

Terrible App. Not user-friendly. Too complicated to log into. I already have an account that I set up using a browser but why do I need a mobile account? I should be able to login with the mobile number/email address and password tied to the account. I don’t understand why a separate mobile account is necessary when the information is the same. Doesn’t make any sense!

Too complicated - useless for me. I have 4 NFCU prepaid cards. We used one account with 2 cards to share the funding for Gas now we can’t do that. We have 2 separate cards and 2 separate accounts and can’t share the funding I add to it. I gave both my teens a Buxx card to deposit their allowance and the app requires me to make a new account. This is so complicated. I would like to use one account with multiple cards. I’ve closed 2 cards and might just need to close the other 2 if this doesn’t get fixed.

Frustrated with Face ID. Although there is much improvement from the original app for NFCU GO Prepaid, I’ve been waiting for Face ID to be fixed. It was working initially, but now it’s at the point where it just loops. I’ve tried logging in and out, turning off the Face ID feature and turning it on, and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Please fix this!

Worse than the previous app!. I’m perplexed how NFCU could launch a “new & improved” Go Prepaid card and app and there be so many hiccups in the transition. After many emails and texts explaining when and how the transition was supposed to work, when it came time for the old card to be replaced the old card took forever to be zeroed out and after successfully downloading the new app, activating the new card and funding it, the app said my PIN/Password had expired after two weeks and have been unable to get into it since. Hope they are able to fix this.

Signed up and doesn’t recognize me. Loaded app and went through all the prompts, established passcode and finger identification. Went to load funds and got the endless spinning wheel-decided to go out of app. Tried to go back in and now it doesn’t recognize passcode or fingerprint! Very frustrated! Wanted to use this card and can’t.

Cannot add multiple cards. Would rate a zero if I could. I hate this app. With the old app I was to add multiple cards. If you try to add your new cards to the old app, it will put you under BUXX. You can not load money that way. You have to "request" money. Call to get help. Rep didn't know how to fix the problem and tried to get a supervisor to help. Waited 45 minutes to no avail. I hung up. I can't put money on my second card. Highly disappointed with the app. Would rate it a zero if I could.

Horrible. The old app was MUCH better. The app allows me to register the card, create an account then once I do that it constantly takes me back to the beginning screen basically getting NOWHERE. I spent two hours with two reps all to still get no help and no where at the time I was told there have been no reports of trouble with the app all for me to receive a call 3 days later from NFCU stating there is issues with it and they don’t have a timeframe when it will be fixed. What? Isn’t the transition date to switch over March 15. That’s around the corner this was just a bad move for NFCU in my opinion

It’s March 17th still can’t sign into the app. I was Visa Buxx card customer and just like the other reviewers I can’t create a Go prepaid mobile account as an account owner or card holder. I keep getting kicked back to the main screen. I am able to log in from the website but no luck with mobile app. I have called support twice and still no resolution. I have been a NFCU member for a long time and I have never had this type of experience for any of my banking needs.

Worst app I have!. I would give it “0” stars if I could - if you don’t have to get this card, Don’t!!! I have been asking for assistance with my app issues since April to be able to use the app and no one can help me. Some have tried, I have spent hours trying to get it to work, but no one knows how to fix the problem. I keep getting told I will get assistance all the times I call in and it never happens. I will continue to give the poor rating the company deserves on this and will encourage others to do the same. They need to fix this quickly and do right by their customers! Stop with the excuses and unfulfilled promises to fix.

Very frustrated. I have no idea how well the app works because I cannot login. I spent 30 mins last night trying this and was able to activate the card on the website and login to the website, but not the app. I spent 35 mins on the phone with customer service to no avail. He transferred me to the app people and I have been listening to the hold music for almost 20 mins. There’s no announcement of how long the wait is. Going to give up in five more mins. This is awful.

Awful for navy federal.. I can’t load 2 cards, before updated app I could ???

Class listen up. For me this app reflect navy federal strong commitment to great customer service 5 stars great job on this App, I followed instructions register follow directions then done no problems for me.

Go Prepaid. I have two (2) of the new NFCU go prepaid cards. I have added one of them to the mobile app. However, I have noticed that the app won’t let you add another card to it. Help me solve this issue. Thanks.

Should have left well enough alone!. Old app and associated Go Card worked flawlessly before NFCU decided to change provider. With this “improved” one I was able to access only once and had to go through setup a second time to activate biometrics. Now, once again “logon credentials incorrect” error occurs repeatedly. “Contact Us” on website failed as well, with “access prohibited” error!

Sad. Doesn’t work on the new iPhone. Been waiting for 3 weeks.

Frustrating App. This new app needs lots of help. I spent 40 minutes on customer service, with two reps who could not help. I was able to create a log in as an account holder to load funds, but my 14 year old was not able to create an app account as a card holder because she was not 18. Isn’t the Go Prepaid card for teens? Thy should be able to use an app to check their balance. The old app for BUXX was so much easier for us both to use. I expected so much more from NFCU. Also, Face ID does not work on iPhone 12. I hope they fix these issues soon.

Not up to NFCU service standards. This app looks like it was a rush job by an inexperienced developer. The login is balky, does not support multiple cards or accounts and uses a different login than the Visa-Go web interface, which is a different login from the NFCU web interface. Text displays overlap and some entry fields are invisible on small screens like the iPhone SE. This app has turned a once-slick and much appreciated service line into a cumbersome mess.

Love the update!!. I love using the Navy Federal Go Prepaid app!! It’s very user friendly! I know others are complaining about the update, but I haven’t had not one issue yet! So far the app runs smoothly!

Amateur Hour. Wondering if the NFCU app developers have ever used any other banking apps. Setting up user permissions on this app (even after having existing logins for the related website) is a futile exercise. It’s bad enough that I need a separate app (from the NFCU banking app) to load an NFCU prepaid card. But, now I need a complete set of new/different login credentials? Waste of time.

Useless App -Does Not Work. Terrible app. Simply does not work. Cannot even login. Used to work. Broken junk, now.

Already annoyed…. Why have me go through Face ID and pin set up (for log in) if I can’t use these feature on a brand new iPhone 13 pro max!? I will say that the app itself does look more appealing than the previous app, which looked like a 2001 PC video game. I love you Nfcu, but please do better and fix some issues!

Horrible. What was a simple and working app has been turned into garbage.

Worst app. Can’t even use my card anymore because the app doesn’t work. Every time I log on to add funds the app immediately logs me off and back to the sign on before I can do anything. I get a quick glimpse of my balance and then kicked off that’s it. I never had a problem with the old app, such a shame because I used this card for all my online ordering, guess I’ll have to look for something new.

Not up to NFCU Standards. Why would NFCU allow such a poor app to be released without fixing the problems. You can not add multiple cards or get text notifications about daily balance, card activity…ect. Not getting notified about card activity is a deal breaker. If it is not corrected soon I will cancel this unacceptable card. Somebody should be called on the carpet for this inferior product.

App not working. Is this app taken down or changed? It is not working for Apple iPhone.

Mobile App Issues. I must say I am thoroughly disappointed with this new app. I am still waiting on them to help me with my mobile app issues. Also when you call, there is not an option to load funds on your card like the old way. I’ve highly recommend Navy Go card to so many people. With all the issues I’ve been having, I honestly regret it. I hope you all SERIOUSLY get these errors worked out, very frustrating and a great inconvenience.

New Look Is Nice, But I amiss Old Functionality. The largest concern I have right now is that my family has several cards, and under the previous app we used to be able to choose which account we wanted to login for. The update looks pretty but forces me to only associate the mobile account with one card. If they could bring back multi-card functionality back, this would probably be the perfect app. Hope they listen.
