Zenless Zone Zero Comments & Reviews 2026
It takes a bit, but it is amazing.. The game starts off slow, but after you play enough, you stop being able to get away with the button-masher play style and are forced to improve. The TV sections feel somewhat straining early on, but it’s mostly just to teach you the intricacies of the TV sections without overwhelming you with all the info at once. As you progress, you unlock more combat centric missions with no TVs (Rallys). The art style and animations are incredible, and the intense level of detail warrants the large download easily. The gameplay involves a more linear and therefore straightforward approach to combat, with exploration typically not being the focus. As a F2P, definite recommendation. (Minor edit: this game is getting review bombed, so that’s why all the most recent reviews tend to consist of “colorist” or “racist” in them. Please ignore them and try the game for yourself.)
People need to calm down. Having this game be 3.9 in the App Store is absolutely absurd people need to calm down This game might be different and new but day one people are being so whiny and spoiled comparing this to other games when this game just needs some time an open mind let me take down some false ideology's -combat is boring and button smashing: I agree, I also disagree because the combat is varied as long as you build and start to understand the system. As for easy parry’s and dodges to keep in mind there are two different sparks that come out of parry’s. One is normal yellow spark which is easy yet not too easy to parry and the red one which requires fast moves and sometimes invisible red parry’s which give the game that extra difficulty. -boring lore: some say that the game doesn’t give you a goal right off the bat but I disagree, the game gives you a discrete goal but that goal will grow throughout the story and the prologue is for players to get a feel for the game. Afterwards you get put to more difficult challenges and more intense struggles which is normal for even HSR and require an open mind One thing I agree with is that the game needs to instead of adding for HP add more attack damage to more difficult entities When playing this game please keep an open mind that this game isn’t as hardcore based
The undeserved hate that this gets is wild. I’ve played this game for several hours and I honestly don’t know why people are already hating on this game. People have been complaining about how the game takes up too much space from the get go, but what can you expect when the graphics and animation are as good as they are. This leads into my next point on how people complain about the art style and animation. The animation in fluid and adds character to each scene, and if you don’t like the style, then why play in the first place (you’ve known what the animation would be like, the trailers and leaks have been out for ages now). And finally, people whine over how most of the game is dialogue and that it gets boring, but how can we say that when we are blessed to even have a skip button (yes, I’m prolly firing shots at hsr and genshin). It’s really no diff from any other hoyoverse game. All in all, this game is exceptional in my eyes, and I just don’t understand why people hate on it already (don’t whine about storage, genshin literally takes up like half ur phone). I would also like to call out the people that say this game is a snooze fest. The game literally has a skip button, so stop complaining about how it’s all talk, no game, when every other hoyo game doesn’t have a skip.
Timed Event Characters. I love this game I’ve played it for longer than I probably should have in the last day I’ve had it downloaded. There are a few things that I don’t like all that much though, one of those things being timed event characters. Now I love this game and I will continue to play and enjoy it but one of the reasons I got the game was because of Ellen Joe, every single ad that I got, that was straight into some story stuff surrounding a character, featured Ellen in some way. Now that I have the game I was wondering how to unlock her character, so I went online only to find out that it wasn’t going to be available for a long time. And other than characters that are in timed events, the only other thing that I don’t really like about the game is the size of it, 25 gigabytes is a lot for a mobile device user. However I will recommend this game to my friends and I will play this game on the regular.
Crashes before the game starts. I wait at least an hour in half for the game to crash after or during intro cutscene. I tried to un install and re installed that didn’t work. Honkai impact 3rd doesn’t have this problem, Genshin doesn’t nor did honkai star rail. Stop having me downloading the demo immediately when it’s the full release of the game I don’t understand that at all. It crashes constantly during the intro cutscene after you select your MC . Plz fix this it feels like I’m wasting my time trying to play this game only for it crash before the tutorial even starts. I have an iPhone 8 and it always crashes after the 2nd cutscene I just want to play the game. What your going to tell me that I have to wait tell Zenless hits 1.1 update to fix this problem so I can actually play the game I downloaded on July 3rd?. I’ll keep it on my phone but I just can’t play the game no matter what I try I’m honestly disappointed.
As Of (1.0) Fun Game To Play Casually. I personally really enjoy the games simplicity. There are some gameplay moments that are really dragged out but overall I enjoy the simple gameplay. This is one of those games for me that is something easy to pickup and play especially when you don’t have a lot of time in the day to invest into a game. I understand there are some who don’t like this game for the TV segments but I really don’t mind it. It’s unique and does a great job at playing a role in the story telling instead of it just being a simple puzzle segment. This will be one of my games to play when I just wanna relax and actually enjoy a game instead of try harding. The animated cutscenes and voice acting really stand out and is amazing. I love the expressiveness in the voices, animation, and the style of the game. The game also gives me some nostalgia of how Honkai Impact 3rd was when it first released. When it first released it was a very simple button mash fighter similar to how this game is now as of (1.0). Maybe it’ll become more complex just like how Honkai Impact 3rd’s gameplay ended up becoming with newer Valkyries and mechanics. Excited to see where this game goes!
I can’t even get into the game. Honestly, there could have been a better way for me to say this instead of writing a review on a game I haven’t even been able to open, but I don’t think I’m willing to figure it out There’s a very likely chance that I would give this a higher rating, if I was able to play it. But I haven’t even logged into the game. I downloaded it as soon as I could, then tried to open the app right away, but it just took me to a black screen. Like it was about to load, but then it would throw me out of the game without me ever even getting to the title screen. I tried deleting it and redownloading it on multiple occasions, I’ve tried restarting my device, I made sure I had enough storage, but so far all I’ve gotten is a black screen for a few seconds before it sends me back to my home screen. I’m not sure if this is a problem with my device or if other people are struggling with it, but I’m not sure what to do.
One of the Best RPGs I’ve Ever Played. When the game released, it was all I could ever play. I played it for hours and hours everyday because of how fun it was. There’s plenty to do in this game, I guarantee you won’t run out of something to do whether delving deep into hollows or doing things for a cat mascot. The fast paced combat can feel so satisfying as you build up combos and switch from character to character. The game may feel easy in the beginning but, trust me, it WILL get harder especially with Hollow Zero. The animation is so good and fluid that it feels like an old cartoon on crack and the comic style cutscenes just hit right. The voice acting is top-tier, no questions asked. Although, there are some flaws as nothing is perfect. If you’re playing on mobile, I wouldn’t bother with the arcade because the controls don’t feel very good and my fat fingers are always pressing the wrong input. The game sometime crashes on me and kicks me right back to home page, no warnings, but that could just be my device. The intermission chapters feel like a slog of nothing, they could try to do something like Dainslief where it talks about lore of the world (really want to know what the hollows are and how they came to be). This game is one of the best I’ve ever played and I could play it for hours, it’s worth any amount of space it takes, trust me.
Refreshing gacha game. I have played Genshin, HSR, and WuWa both on PC and mobile. ZZZ is by far the most enjoyable game especially on mobile. The controls are far easier to streamline on mobile than the competition. This game has pulled me away from other gachas due to its very fluid and satisfying combat. It’s very mobile friendly as well without making any compromises on quality. I can’t say that about other gachas. There are definitely some elements of the game that seem niche and have controversy like the TV storytelling. Personally I can appreciate it since it tells a story in a way that other mechanisms would not be able to but I do feel that it’s relied on too heavily. Overall it’s an unbelievably solid game with incredible combat. It’s worth trying out and giving it a fair shot for yourself before you write it off.
Nah its not fun. you want the real the truth behind this game. take it from someone who has tried all three of their biggest release’s in the last 4 years. that includes genshin, star rail, and now zzz. the real issue is the publisher (hoyoverse, mihoyo) themselfs. they bot views on twitch. they false advertise products. they promise alot of rewards. but those rewards are subpar. zzz is no exception. they promise 180 pulls. but in my two days of playing up until the lockout at level 16. id say i have around 60 pulls. i think the real issue no one talks about is the censorship. nicole and belle. having there models changed after closed beta 2. do you like safety pants ? and white spats ? this is the company for you. do you want a more refined experience, go play wuthering waves from kuro. they know combat way better. and trust me, parrying and dodging in this game is not as fluid as what wuthering has to offer. yeah im done with hoyoverse products. ban me if you want hoyoverse. but its the truth. dont like the truth ? delete my review. i will screencap this just to prove i called you out. if you see a guy named Geoff Keighley advertising these games. its over, what hope you had for a good product goes out the window.
Top Notch. Zenless Zone Zero is an absolute gem in the action RPG genre! From the moment I stepped into the vibrant, post-apocalyptic world of New Eridu, I was hooked. The neon-lit streets and the blend of futuristic tech with remnants of a past civilization create an immersive atmosphere that's hard to pull away from. The gameplay is where Zenless Zone Zero truly shines. The combat system is fast-paced and fluid, offering a perfect balance between accessibility and depth. The diverse roster of characters, each with their unique abilities, makes every battle feel fresh and strategic. I love experimenting with different team compositions and finding the best synergies. The story is another standout feature. It’s filled with twists, emotional moments, and well-developed characters. The beautifully animated cutscenes and top-notch voice acting bring the narrative to life, making me genuinely care about the characters and their journeys. Technically, the game runs smoothly, and I've encountered minimal issues. It’s clear that the developers at miHoYo have put a lot of effort into optimizing the game for various platforms. Overall, Zenless Zone Zero is a must-play for any action RPG fan. Its stunning visuals, engaging gameplay, and captivating story make it a standout title. Kudos to miHoYo for delivering such an incredible gaming experience!
Undercooked Incomplete. The combat is solid but it gets repetitive after a while. There are also things that are missing or unfinished that gets patched in every other update. ie Being able to roam the overworld with a character of your choice is still not in the game. The UI is also terrible. The TVs are good for puzzles but SHOULDN’T interrupt your immersion when doing story/combat missions. The shiyu defense elemental weaknesses is OVERLY tailored towards newer units. After the first update, bugs were introduced that weren’t there previously and they won’t be fixed until the next update cycle (roughly a month & a half later). There’s also no mini town map to navigate areas. Also for the size of the game, you’re pretty restricted with how much you can explore. There’s literally a separate area for the parking lot & sixth street which is only blocked by a gate but the game is 50GB+ on PS5???? This game is severely undercooked and shouldn’t have been released until next year. Its boring and a chore to play after a month of play time. Easily the worst of the recent hoyoverse games.
hoyoverse... great story, graphics, and animations!... but.... the good: like Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact, beautiful graphics and animations. unique story and good voice acting on main quest. combat is fast paced with varied enemies. world is alive, though small. interesting and very unique take on missions. Story progression well done. the bad, common to other hoyoverse titles: very few characters, character progression gets painfully sliw quick, drop rates terrible, most summons filled useless junk, dupes needed and terrible drop rate makes it impractical to own any high tier heroes, "store" offers little and all over priced. no vip system. no incentive reward for supporting developers. the other downside: combat very repetative. some changes to scenery and enemy type, but, overall gets old fast. the unique take on missions has a bad side, can be tedious and boring. unlike Genshin and StarRail, world is tiny, cramped, boring, uninspired. not open world. entire world exist on one street in one very small neighborhood. most locations outside neighborhood amount to only a very small stage that cant be explored. if you like summoning, skip this and all hoyoverse games. if you want open world exploration, skip this title. if you are a whale, like me, nothing worth your money. if you like seeing heroes grow, change, evolve... skip this hard. so, who should play this game? free to play who can focus only on story. you will enjoy it.
Incredible. Running on an iPhone 15 and a new iPad this game runs flawlessly. Which I would hope, but it needs to be said. As far as combat goes, it’s crisp, responsive, fluid and smooth. I’m playing with a controller and it’s really responsive. I think all of the character design is good, and the voice acting is amazing. It’s really an impressive f2p game. And Hoyo is always pretty good about making their games actually f2p. I’be been waiting for this game for a while now and it hasn’t really disappointed me. (Full disclosure: I did sort of hope it was gonna be totally open world like Genshin but I love my little neighborhood) All in all I don’t know how you don’t love this game. (Ps: anyone complaining about the size of this game is going to understand once they play it. They’re also gonna have to get over it bc for games to look and play this well in a digital future(right now) then this is the cost(size).)
Wow!. This game has a lot to love. Snappy, satisfying combat. A punchy UI and art direction. Beautiful animation - sometimes it has intentionally over exaggerated movement - reminds me of DeBlob on the Wii. The character designs are amazing, each has so much personality and style. I know people are miffed about the protagonist not being playable, but honestly, I think it works in the game's favor. The protagonist and their sibling are established characters, with genuine connection to the others. It's a nice change of pace from the usual amnesiac strangers that Genshin and Star Rail have. Finally, it's all wrapped up with the classic Hoyo polish. It's a gacha, at the end of the day, but I've been having so much fun with the freebie characters that I don't really care. Been saving every last Polychrome for a character I might really want, later down the line. I could rave about this game for a while.
Game won’t open.. The game simply will not open on me or my friend's IPhone 7+, Iv tried every day sense the game came out now, and it still won't open, I click it and it goes to a black screen then closes out. If this is because I have an IPhone 7+, then the 00 game should not be available for my phone to download it to begin with. But I hope that's not the case, I figured that it's just a temporary bug, so I hope it will be fixed soon. But besides that, iv played a bit of the game on my console, and it's honestly pretty meh, gameplay is pretty repetitive and boring, there are barely any Male starter characters, and I don't like how the children are dressed and the poses they are put it, mainly Piper Wheel and Lucy. Piper has a crop top that is disturbingly detailed to be tight on her chest along with short shorts, and Lucy has literally BUTTY SHORTS and a crop top as well, not to even mention the poses she’s in when you view the character in game, i am beyond disappointed and disgusting with this game and we’re not even a week in. But hopefully y’all can make some changes to the game and character designs to better improve the game, I think that’s all I have to say for now…
amazing start. combat is smooth and intuitive, and the storytelling is amazing. the cutscene animations are fluid and expressive, while the story sequences are really creative and strike out with its own style instead of sticking with the boring visual novel style of dialogue. the world building and exposition is also very natural, and the way the characters are introduced feel more organic in my opinion than how they are usually introduced in star rail and genshin (i mainly play star rail and no longer play genshin). the world is explained to you through a mix of cutscenes, stories, and worldbuilding—using internet posts from an in-universe social media, and natural interactions with NPCs AND characters yet to be introduced in the main story out and about on the main street. like, the way they introduce the same old concepts from other hoyo and gacha games (like farming for character materials and weekly gamemodes) is just so clean??? you can easily get your first standard S-rank character after playing for about 45 min after getting to level 8. the story at the moment is low stakes and kind of simple, but what does the complexity of the plot matter against its execution? i can already see that this game as a LOT of potential for darker and angsty themes. wayyy more the hsr, this game is definitely hi3 2.0 in a lot of ways. i also REALLY like the pjsk boyband stuff they got going on here lol
Best One So Far. I have played a few Hoyoverse games and I like this one the most. The story is much more clear than their other recent offerings Genshin Impact and Honkai Stsr Rail. The atmosphere feels like Persona 5 and the contained areas are alive with activity. The main characters aren’t some bada** from another world they are down to earth people who are trying to make a living. The hollow navigation mini game activity is not very fun but not too difficult or annoying. At least it stylized and includes interesting dialogue from the characters participating. I like the fighting it is simple but making combinations is fun and requires some skill to pull off. For an experienced player it’s not that difficult. The game is interesting and I can play on my phone and switch off to my Playstation if I want. It also released with Backbone support which was a huge plus. It can be difficult tapping on the touch screen.
New fav game. Had to take my sweet time, I think now I’ve been a week or so into the game, and I can for sure say my genuine opinion about it. It’s been such a refreshing experience to me when it comes to gameplay, atmosphere, characters, even the music and mini games in arcade it all brings back the good old days especially with the Video tapes, discs, and the snake game in the arcade. It brings back the nostalgia and the child within me. Welling to keep playing it, sure it might get harder in the future due to my phone storage space, but really my fav game by far, it’s true due to my short game playing I do find it hard to stay always into play mode, but that’s ok, I’m fine with taking it slow because when a game is this good I feel like I don’t want to finish its current content fast . Additionally, the story is interesting and I like the comic style in storytelling too.
No Signal. For myself, zzz is a delightfully fragmented game. The action based combat is visual treat and exciting to play, but the moments are short lived in comparison to everything else the game asks of you. While enjoyable in their own right, mechanics outside of combat feel disconnected from character collection - which arguably is the foundation of the game. The game compartmentalizes itself between modest exploration, combat, and a ‘mini-game-esque’ mode (the TV system) which is given far too much prominence imo. For all of the effort of acquiring and building characters, there is little return outside of combat. Stronger character integration across game modes may reflect the efforts of player’s investment and time. While I don’t mind the TV system, diversifying the way story exploration is presented and balancing the amount of time it requires compared to other areas of the game would go a long way to increase my enjoyment. As it stands, time with acquired characters is minimal as they have no role outside of combat - and time in combat is gated behind an energy system or the tv system. A stronger focus on combat and city exploration is my hope for the future of an otherwise incredible game.
Huge problems with the size. I’ve been looking forward to Zeneless Zone Zero since it was announced, and I’ve been a big Anby fan since. I play every Hoyoverse game asides from those not available on Global. Naturally, I was excited to download it on my PC as usual, but the space required was ridiculous. Next to nobody has 100gb of free space on their disc, unless they want ZZZ to be the only game they play. That’s crossing the line, and this is just on release, too, the space required will only increase… That doesn’t mean I gave up though, I had to sacrifice a ton of stuff on my phone so I could download it here. Insanely inconvenient. I highly doubt that the quality of the game can make up for this huge issue, despite it looking amazing. I have seen very few people actually be able to play the game, for this reason ALONE. Many people haven’t been able to download regardless of their devices. My rating may change once and IF I am able to play, but for now we’re going with a solid two stars. Hoyoverse, listen to your players for once..
Love the Characters, Love the Worldbuilding, but I don’t like the game design. Hoyoverse is very skilled when it comes to its world building and character designs, and this game doesn’t disappoint in this respect. This game’s design language and characters are beautifully designed, animated, and voiced. If this was an animated series it would get a pass with glowing reviews. However this is a game, and as such it must be fun and easy to understand for the player to interact with its world. Unfortunately I think Hoyoverse fell short in its design for this game. The UI design was my biggest gripe. I felt so lost navigating so many menus and buttons for simple tasks like upgrading characters. There’s just too many buttons and elements that bog it down and it’s just confusing to use. Another problem for me is the gameplay loop. Combat itself is extremely fun, albeit a bit “button mashy”, with your characters using beautifully animated attack sequences and satisfying parry/ combo mechanics. However the TV exploration mode absolutely killed the fun for me. It completely broke immersion after fun and high octane battle gameplay. Don’t get me wrong, this game is beautifully made, designed, and well polished but the gameplay and game design has dragged it down unfortunately. I love hoyoverse’s creativity and their products, but unfortunately this one fell short after so much hype.
Pros and cons <3. I throughly enjoy this game but there are many issues especially with the advertising. The advertising was very misleading especially with the 100 free pulls. To get the free pulls you have to grind and that takes time that some people don’t have. BUT the animations is absolutely breathtaking and the combat is super clean and fun! With the puzzles (aka the tvs) can be challenging and they definitely aren’t for everyone, but be prepared to do a lot of puzzles. I actually do like the puzzles cause it makes you have to think. I think the puzzle mechanics are very cool and the concept is honestly super smart. But like a said before, not everyone is gonna like the puzzles especially if your impatient or easily annoyed. The Gacha system is about the same as honkai star rails so you know what to expect if you play star rail. I like Gacha so this is an immediate pro for me! Anyway if you read this hole thing the dang your persistent but thank you anyway!
My opinion of ZZZ. Overall for me, the gameplay is fun and I love the art style and overall npc’s have like more lifelike in them. Combat is fun and it gave me somewhat of a fighting game back then with its retro style. Environment, very pretty and beautiful, characters/Npc’s love the design and animation they have. I understand some people were expecting ZZZ to have open world mechanic like genshin or somewhat to star rail’s but it’s limited. The story, yes it’s long with quest after quest but that’s the hole lore of it. Sometimes people get impatient or bored because they expecting a top notch game to be popular like genshin when first release because you start a quest then come back to it when you feel like it. But really, it’s a hoyoverse game and your gonna experience a visual novel in any hoyoverse game yet people still try em out. All I can say is people like to bring games down because they was “expecting” more and they get let down. Really you don’t have to play a hoyoverse game if you gonna be disappointed lol.
I have Storage for it!!!. I have enough storage for it but yet it doesn’t let me play the game. It just has me on a black screen for a couple seconds. No music or anything and it just kicked me out of the game. I am downloaded it because it is a waste of storage in my opinion I am playing on it on my iPad. It does not work even though I have the storage for it. It is so frustrating that I can’t get into it. Some people are saying that it isn’t even fully released yet I don’t know that but that’s because I can’t get into the app so please if anyone can help write a review on why there’s a black screen then it kicks me out please and thank you, From someone on the Internet Hello, this is me editing it, and I forgot to mention even Ginshin impact could open for me. It is not as good as The app I previously mentioned Ginshin impact I know I’m probably spelling it wrong, but do not blame me. Please do not. I really would like to play it but I can’t and I am really sad about it. I won’t be downloading this app again, but I will be downloading the app that I previously mentioned. goodbye, from a person on the internet.
Good game-Horrible reviews. So people are complaining about the animation style. It’s..been like that? You KNEW it would be like that? Why’re you complaining???? Then they’re complaining about the gameplay as if it’s not similar to HI3rd. Also the “blackface” people complain about..is a penguin. Not blackface it’s a literal penguin that people claim is blackface bc apparently if you have a penguin and the company is known for racism it’s automatically racist. Also stop review bombing the game just bc you’re being a baby over another game. They are most definitely run by a different team. Genshin and ZZZ r run by different people so it’s just stupid to complain. How about you complain on the official page of Genshin? Why risk a new game’s success because of another game? Just complain about the game with racism. Until there’s actually shown racism in ZZZ, which there hasn’t been yet, don’t review bomb about racism. The gameplay is unique and I love the story/character designs minus all the fanservice.
Why the hate?. I personally was not looking forward to this game when it was first announced solely because it wasn’t open-world, and that’s what I was used to with Hoyoverse’s other game, Genshin Impact.🤔 But I eventually got hooked by the fast-paced combat and different aesthetic.😚 It reminds me of Splatoon, and I’ve heard it’s similar to the world of Persona, though I’ve never played any of the games (I’ve seen clips of gameplay but don’t really know any characters or story details etc). I totally get if you’re more into the fantasy-type arc and whatnot,🙂↕️ but this game is personally a nice change of pace and I don’t get the hate.🤷♀️ Rewards are generous, there’s plenty to do if you don’t rush through the story (y’all 1.1 was released today, you shouldn’t be rushing so much), and the details in the world, cutscenes, animations, etc are so expressive and vibrant I just love it.🤩 So personally, I will continue with the game and will continue to enjoy it. Y’all can have your opinions but if you’re hating just because you hate Hoyoverse or just because it’s not Genshin or HSR, then you need to play the game first. 🤠
Crashing…. The game is so unique and stylizied which I love. Especially the comic book story mechanic and the highly animated characters. But I literally had to redo the first rally commission 4 times because it kept crashing. My graphics settings are relatively low as well so I don’t even know why it’s happening. Hopefully it’ll be fixed considering this is only the first few days of release. Otherwise no problems for me! Awesome game, looking forward to new in-game events. Update: it didn’t get fixed. And comparatively speaking, I’ve played all of Hoyo’s other RPG games including Hi3, Hsr, and GIn and ZZZ feels like a combination between all 3 which isn’t all that bad. however I didn’t feel the same incentive to play zzz as I did the other games (given I dropped Hi3 within months) something in zzz is just missing and I can’t really explain what. The stylized aspects of the game still hold up but aside from the combat the world feels pretty empty and somewhat boring when you aren’t fighting in the hollows. Same thing with incentive I don’t have a reason to keep coming back everyday to play or grind because like the comic book stories zzz feels kind of 2D and flat. Looking forward to improvements!
Surprised by low ratings. This game is so fun!! I’ve been waiting for it since it was announced. I didn’t think I’d enjoy it as much as I do since I didn’t really enjoy punishing gray raven’s playstyle (it’s similar) but it exceeded all expectations. Something about hyv games is that there’s ALWAYS something to do, it never gets boring. The character designs aren’t anything crazy but I actually like that, you get to focus more on the kit/playstyle/what you actually need instead of getting a character for their looks. I’m a fan of genshin, star rail, wuwa, and onmyoji, and this is probably my favorite. There are still things that could be worked on but that goes for every gacha game. I find that obtaining the signals to wish is much much easier compared to my other games. It might take weeks to get a 10 pull in others but in zzz it takes me just a few days. I love this game!!
This game’s style is literally all I have ever asked for in a game. It’s very easy for beginners, there’s many events that give out free pulls. The game’s fighting system is absolutely fantastic and that’s an understatement, it’s so fun to fight in this game. To anyone reading this review, please try this game out, it’s free and is very beginner friendly as I stated before! but be warned though this game is extremely addictive because of how actually fun it is! But I do see a problem which isn’t exactly affecting me but affecting those who just spent their in game currency horribly. The in game currency stacks up a lot at the start of the game to mid game, but at the late game in order to gain money it’s more difficult because of the lack of missions. With the money one can buy items, enhance skills and level up characters meaning it’s very valuable. Just a tip, don’t waist your money and safe it trust me you’ll need it.
Based on what I’ve seen, great game.. I love the style for the game and I play every Hoyoverse game beside Tears of Themesis. I love the characters design and the word play I’ve seen too, atleast in videos. I decided to try it out but I can’t register for some reason. I enter my email, do the Captcha and agree to the Terms of Service. But when I click next it tells me “Too many requests. Please try again later.” In which, I have. I’ve waited to get back on and try again for a while. But it gives me the same exact message every time. I’m not sure what to do about it, searching up anything doesn’t exactly help either. I’ve also made sure I’ve had stable internet too, so I’m going to just wait until tomorrow to see what it says. Besides that fact, the game is amazing and the designs are stellar. I’ve been watching tons of videos on it and my friend showed my some of his gameplay as well. If you’re looking at this to see if you should download it, you should. (Just hopefully don’t get into my situation.) P.S. I apologise for any misspellings! I’m young xd
I honestly expected better from HOYO, although it is a new game…. I have been a HOYO verse game fan for years now my favorite game from them being honkai star rail. That was why I was very excited when they released a new game zzz. But the game was not what I expected at all. The other games, genshin impact and honkai Star rail both have combat mcs while zzz’s mc cannot be played in combat and can only be used to select characters to talk to. Another thing is that in other HOYO games there is usually a bar at the side to click when talking to a character. In zzz, the user has to physical make sure that the arrows are pointing to the character’s name. Then they can select the character to talk to. I find that to be very confusing. It is kind of like playing on a switch. Also, despite the game being new, it already takes up more than 20 gigabytes of storage making it even bigger than withering waves which is already on its 1.1 update. I play lots of multiple games similar to the ones that HOYO makes, so those 20 gigabytes really takes a toll on my storage. I find the characters of zzz to lack personality and uniqueness in designs, especially the male mc. I do understand that this is a new game and it needs time to develop. But for now, I might just stick to hsr and WuWa.
Like the game, but game keeps crashing and I can’t progress. Like the game, but game keeps crashing after the Belobog industries scene where the creature absorbs the machines after the “seal” is broken I’ve attempted skipping and just rewatching multiple times, but it always crashes at that same spot and so I can not progress in the game There are cats, I only just started playing this but there’s a part where you get to pet a little black cat with mittens. 5 stars. The gameplay itself is repetitive for the most part. There are a few story and exploration commissions that are a bit different, but there isn’t too much variety. I don’t really focus on the story, but it’s fine in my opinion. That being said, I enjoy how easy it is and the repetitive nature allows me to actually do the main thing I enjoy doing in the game - fighting and exploring the different playable characters! I joined for Ellen and I really just enjoy seeing how each of the characters move in fighting, regular play, and cutscenes.
soo addicting but randomly crashes. The storyline is interesting and fun, getting S ranks is really easy. The soundtrack is really good, I could fall asleep listening to it, the character designs are so detailed and clean, the gameplay is smooth, and it saves your progress from where you left off so you dont have to restart, I can tell the developers put a lot of effort into ZZZ, and the developers are really generous! Even the loading screen is interesting to watch! I experienced a few bugs though, like my game crashes when I get to the boss fight on a commission, which is annoying so I cant progress. some of the characters clipping through things, like Cori, when she stops moving, her knee goes through her dress, which is unnatural and when Im running around as Belle, theres like cloth on the floor and her legs get clipped into it, these are minor bugs, but I would still appreciate it if you fix this! Thank you ZZZ developers
Iffy start, but stick with it.. I’ll keep this review short for all the zoomers that might see this. This game is pretty dang fun, has absolutely clean animations, some witty dialogue, persona style social simulators, decent puzzles, fun and extremely fluid combat, and a great story. But you have to be patient. You won’t just have access to these features right away, heck I probably played for 6-8 hours before I unlocked the ability to do my dailies and use my energy resource. When you start getting an idea of how the combat system works, it’s incredibly fun to play around with, but you have to just stick with the characters the game gives you for quite a bit of time. As you can see, there’s quite a lot of 1-star reviews, and it’s another movement from the community to cry and soil themselves to try and make a change, probably to boycott another game if I’m being honest. My final tip is also to try to avoid engaging with the community in earnest. Lots of weird internet drama in these groups if you let yourself get sucked up in it. Hope you enjoy the game!
This game is great and no one can tell me otherwise. First of all, I’ve been waiting for ZZZ for a long time, and I also don’t normally write reviews. I was so invested in the game because of how fun it is these past few days that I didn’t realize the amount of backlash it was getting. The main problem I see is not with the game, but rather the criticizing reviewers, who are a bunch of whiny, unsatisfactory kids. Every review I’ve seen so far of ZZZ is either from: Genshin player that didn’t get an open world experience People that hate on the game for no reason People that hate on the game because it doesn’t have “Honkai” in its name People that hate on this game because it’s not WuWa This is absolutely absurd, and if someone out there is reading this, please know that the many bad reviews you see about this game are from people who have played pretty much nothing of it, and didn’t even bother PLAYING the game rather than be “I want the new character”. This is also mainly because people like me, who are enjoying ZZZ, are too busy playing the game rather than writing hypocritical reviews. If you don’t like gacha games, that’s fine, but no reason to scream at others to not play this game, and also complain like a wimp because they have to actually play the GAME to get polychrome for pulling. It’s called a game for a reason.
PLEASE READ BEFORE PLAYING OR DOWNLOAD.. The game is honestly beautiful, but if you haven’t played any other Hoyoverse games like genshin impact, Honkai impact the 3rd, Honkai star rail or any other gacha games with a “gambling” system you might be confused. The designs in the game are overall great for now but one thing that really bothers me about the game is the fact that one of their artists and character designers is a LOLICON artist who likes drawing, making, and promoting loli content. If you are confused, Loli’s are characters who are portrayed as minors or children that are sexualized and are often given extremely inappropriate designs and over exaggerated body parts. A Lolicon is somebody who draws this type of stuff or enjoys it. The gameplay is great but I don’t think I’ll be playing the game if one of their artists likes children and makes inappropriate art of kids. It’s weird! 🥰 Play the game if you want. I don’t care. I highly doubt hoyoverse will listen anyway if people review bomb this app. Hoyoverse doesn’t listen to their fans and only listens to the CN community. I would know since I’m apart of them!.
Very Good game!. The game seems to be a science in balance. Equal parts action and strategy, story and a little exploration, with growth equally attainable by both avid players who grind out resources and the players who would like to pay for quickly obtained resources. I don't actually have that many complaints about this game. However the biggest one that comes to mind is that it seems to make my phone work extremely hard. 20 to 30 minutes of playing is usually enough to make my phone uncomfortably hot in my hands. And this is coming from an iPhone 15 user. I don't claim to know much about technology, but if there is any way that you could configure the game to not make our phones work so hard and overheat from playing it, that would be great. However, please take my criticism with a grain of salt, because again I don't really know much about the inner workings of technology like this.
That’s it for me. I gotta be honest: I wanted to love this game. Hopped on from day 1 and it was just mid right from the start. Characters were all a bunch of lolis and furrybait, like who is this game for Hoyo? PDF files? It’s just weird man… but OK I tried to ignore the weird children characters with scanty clothing, and all the furries, ending up with a crappy team but at least I’m not cringing anymore while playing. But then events come by, I finished chapter 1… 2… some part of 3, and it’s just bad the whole time. I mean the whole time time I’m just waiting for the game to get good. Combat is super simple button mashing dodge spamming with QTEs. The TV exploration is straight up PAINFUL to go through even with fast forward mode turned on. Characters, aside from their super cringy design, are also boring or annoyingly cartoony. The pity for rolls is somehow EVEN WORSE than other Hoyo games? Sorry but I’m not paying for this garbage, and the F2P currency gains are awfully low. I mean good luck rolling a good character unless you pay for this (seek help, friend). I’m tired and frankly, I’m done. Maybe completely done with Hoyo. With Wuthering Waves out with god tier combat and good (and not creepy) character designs, fun exploration, etc this just feels like a waste of time. Uninstalled, peace.
Very great game. Zenless Zone Zero is an absolute masterpiece! From the moment I started playing, I was captivated by its stunning visuals and unique cyberpunk aesthetic. The art direction is top-notch, and the world feels alive with its vibrant colors and futuristic cityscapes. The character designs are equally impressive, with each one brimming with personality. Gameplay-wise, it's incredibly smooth and engaging. The combat system is fast-paced and fluid, with a perfect balance of strategy and action. I love the variety of characters and their unique abilities, which makes every battle feel fresh and exciting. The gacha system feels fair, and I appreciate how generous the game is with rewards and progression. The story is intriguing, blending mystery, action, and a touch of humor. The voice acting and music are superb, adding depth to an already immersive experience. Whether you're a fan of action games or just looking for something visually stunning with great gameplay, Zenless Zone Zero delivers on every front. Overall, it's a must-play for any gamer who enjoys action-packed RPGs with a rich narrative and beautiful design. Highly recommended! Also people are mad down bad for saying gooner game. Do people really do that type of thing?
I Love the game but missing functions should be added. When I first play Zenless zone zero the game is actually amazing and I will say big thanks to everyone involved in creating Zenless zones zero. Speaking of functions missing they were suppose to be a function for multiplayer on the Home Screen where they can be match for 2players match and team match and team missions like the solo missions we are playing right now. We are in a new era Where everyone like to play online games together and get a reward on every mission they completed. That’s why Zenless zone zero is losing more fans and players, the game been played only on iPhone and iPads is causing restrictions to most players because is not everyone that is using iPhone, that’s is one thing you guys should take note of. We as a players of Zenless zones zero hope we will be seeing those functions on the new update of Zenless Zone zero. Thanks you.
Amazing ride, blunted by endgame woes. This game feels incredible to play and runs beautifully on my 5th gen iPad, but once you finish the campaign you run into problems. Even if you pay money, you get to a point where, after 10 minutes of gameplay, you have nothing left to do that rewards you with any resources. The rouge-like mode stops awarding you with anything other than a handful of ancillary currency after you beat it a few times. That is a weekly cap. There are no other game modes that reward you with ANY resources once you beat them for the first time, so you’re forced to quit the game. Essentially, you log in, spend ten minutes spending your battery (an hour, tops, if you’re willing to spend $10 per day), then you quit. And let me be clear: I have spent about $40 on the game so far and I have enjoyed what I’ve played, but I’m at the point where there is nothing for me to do. There is no content I can play that gives me any rewards, so I have to quit the game and wait until tomorrow. This has really soured the experience for me, especially as a paying customer. Be warned: do not pay money for this game expecting it to reward you down the line. You are paying to play less of the game, not more. If I hadn’t paid any money, it would have taken me longer to beat the end-game content and I would have more gameplay to get through right now. Not good.
Great game, misleading marketing. This game is (in my opinion) one of the best gacha games on the market right now. It’s not trying to be anything else, and the story is really well done. I will however point out, the main beats of the marketing is the Gacha aspect; always advertising “Free Pulls when you download from this video” yet that does not happen. I’m not sure how they can get away with the blatantly misleading advertising, as any average consumer will watch an ad and assume “When I download this game from this video I will be able to draw X amount of characters for free.” Which is never the case. This game should be advertising its amazing combat and beautiful art design. I love the advertisements that show off new characters, like the shark maid one that is currently in the rotation for pulls; as the advertisements for this character are exceptionally well made, with great voice acting and animation to boot. I can’t wait to see the future of this game, and I feel if they shift their marketing to try to attract consumers on other platforms such as PC and Console then they will develope a more hardcore player base.
as a mi/hoyoverse fan since HI3… i feel like they flopped.. don’t get me wrong! i love the vision of the game; a neo-setting RPG with expressive characters. one of the first things i noticed was the suuuper smooth animations + 3d/2d art!! but i feel like some of the characters are lacking in “personality”… but only to a certain extent! they’re creative, but some are sort of stereotypical — that’s just my opinion! (I.E., many players would love to see some power moments for our girl nekomata) on a more technical perspective, i think that the actual gameplay resembles that of HI3, but if it were…simpler. “simple” is something that this game is in lurve with!! not in a bad way. i just think that this game doesn’t hold the gameplay mechanic capacity that players need from mobile games. point blank: it’s only an attention grabber with it’s visuals. but that isn’t to say there’s no hope for this game. hoyoverse, you can always update your games. i believe in this game!! but only if you do first, hoyoverse.
WHY IS EVERYTHING PITCH BLACK. I downloaded this game because I wanna try. I thought it’ll be a game like Genshin because I love Genshin Impact was playing then it said oh yeah you also have to delete some games and like OK yeah cause my storage has a lot of things so I don’t need some things and I was perfect to go then guess what the holy tire game turns pitch black I can’t even see the screen, little bit of character design I gonna play this game if it’s fully pitch black, and I can only see the character some green lights from the monster, but I couldn’t even see the whole room for the boss wide. I can’t even see anything in this game, this is the most lowest game I do not suggest but if it does work for you then good but still download the game because you know I don’t really care. Read it if you want to, but still the whole screen is black and when I when I started playing guess what the story mode was black too I didn’t lie about the whole entire but still why the heck is the whole screen black I mean, I can see that I can see the old team the dash the special attack and the fist and that’s all I see but guess what I don’t see a scream, just a black screen, and
Please let me have good things. Five stars if we get an outfit like the one for that one R&B event for that one pretty lady character (black and red hair and a grey green jacket) Anyway, as a loyal player of Hoyoverse games, this is their worst game yet. Like, I’ve played honkai impact, honkai star rail, genshin, and that one otome game (I forgot the name) but, i’ll be honest, it’s trash. the character designs do not look anything like the art. I felt completely robbed when the character I was looking forward to did not even look remotely close to the art that was made of her. All of the designs feel rushed with no actual thought. Like a rip off hatsune miku? Come on. Like, let me have good things in life fr! Animation is 10/10. Love the way they are animated. At the beginning you are thrown into the storyline and it feels so…confusing. It’s hard to explain. The comic panels part is a cool touch but I get real bored of it. It feels like it’s going too slow and needs a little more pace. In all honesty, I made this review because I felt robbed by the character designs and storyline. This game isn’t as cool as their other games. So many characters have so much potential to have good designs yet, they end upwith ones that are completely MID. Fix this 😡
Great game!. For real tho, what is with all of the people who don’t like the game ‘cause it’s not “Perfect” or “It’s Glitchy” It literally came out two days ago!!! (As of writing this) stop ZZZ slander!! Ok, but in all seriousness, this is actually a pretty good game, (my only issue is that there isn’t a lot, but It’s version 1.0, It’ll get updated) I think the battle mechanics are pretty engaging, and the story is also pretty enjoyable, and the characters! They’re like ligit good! I’ve laughed so hard at some lines, and I’ve really grown to like other characters, and the story just ties it all together! All in all, I don’t think it compares to other Hoyoverse masterpieces. But it’s relatively new, give it a chance! (I’m looking at you, ZZZ haters) I think new players will like it once they give it a shot. (Also side note, if you play close attention to a character [Anby] she hums a song in one of her idol animations! 🥹 must protecc)
Anything below a three is crazy ‼️‼️. This game has amazing graphics, tops any other Hoyoverse game in that regard. The gameplay is fun and immersive, the storyline is fun and not crazy complex. It’s retro, it’s fun, it’s beautiful. It has elements that are only events in other Hoyo games. The agents are well designed and fit in the world. It seems more realistic, you can find them around the maps and gain friendship from talking to them. The bouncy animation is so fluid and bubbly, it’s a joy to watch as an artist and I’m always mesmerized by each cutscene. The game is also generous and if you’d think another Hoyo games with gacha is boring, it’s not!! Surprisingly, they keep things interesting in the game with it. It’s not crazy stingy like Genshin, but not crazy generous like HSR where it feels like you aren’t working for it and it gets generic and boring. My honest opinion is this game could be hit or miss with anyone, but to me it’s super fun and worth at least a try. I love it!! 💗
Amazing game!~. I’ve played Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and Wuthering Waves. Zenless Zone Zero has to be my second favorite. People rate this game 1* mainly because they’re mad or something. ZZZ is a very good game overall. When I saw 3.7* as the overall review I was amazed. Like, why? Storage would be the main reason but just play on a different device! The character designs are so pretty! My game runs smoothly so that’s another reason why I love it. I love that there are combos to attacking. Even though Bella nor Wise can fight, that’s not really a problem. Different characters mean different move sets. A lot of people just play for the free pulls. I did too but realized this game was so much more! I don’t pay attention to that stuff at all! To me, it’s an absolutely great game. But you can’t change another person’s point of view. “No matter how hard you try to understand other people’s hearts, people aren’t able to change others. Every time, you have to change yourself.” (If you know the reference you know) If you’re mad about the amount of pulls you don’t get, character designs, gameplay, or any other thing, stay mad. ZZZ is a great game, just like the others. When I first saw the trailer, I was like, “There’s gonna be a new Hoyo game?! Eh… Should I get it?” The only reason why I started to play, because of that one Billy add. Anyways, peace!
Great game! Just a few problems. This game is just amazing, the combat system is really cool and so are the character designs. The areas like Sixth street and Lumina Square looks so good and I love that there’s a lot of challenges/commissions that are given to you to complete as you search around the areas so you can level up more quicker. Overall, this has got to be one the most addicting games I’ve ever played. However, there’s just a few issues. Firstly, the amount of storage this game takes up is insane. My iPad 8th Generation has 256GB while this game takes up about 24.7 GB and it’s only the first version installed. The game just keeps slowing down and crashing and kicks me out every like 30 minutes and sometimes even after I just logged in. I downloaded this on my iPhone 14 and the game just doesn’t run smoothly and instead slows down because of the amount of storage it takes up. I personally don’t think that this is a mobile friendly game.

I don’t really get that much 5 stars on high pity. Hi I love this game it is amazing it catches my attention and I like hoyoverse for that but sometimes when I am on high pity i don’t get a 5 star but on wuthering waves I do so pls hoyo gives us some 5 stars at high pity
Glitches out as soon as i open the game. I really would like to try the game, I’ve been looking forward to it for a while, but no matter how many times I delete the app and redownload it, the same glitch occurs. When I try to open the app, I’m just met with a black screen, then it just crashes. I haven’t even been able to actually play the game.
Awesome. So fun to play You guys should give option to customise the HUD Buttons like all the shooting games
Boring. Character designs and story telling is great, also love the cyber feel to it. Not a fan at how simple and repetitive it is - much prefer wuthering waves. Some find it more interesting, I find it… bland. Strange for me to say this but this is one gatcha game I wouldn’t spend money on.
Great game. Only major problem is the tv gameplay, quite boring but everything else is great. Even in Australia the ping and network speed is great on the America servers. Great combat, great character design, environmental design and has quite the unique character. The quest system is also quite unique, being dependent on game time and structured in a way where you’d never be overwhelmed. Sure the game is quite linear and be quite story driven, but that ask kinda makes it more immersive. Most gameplay mechanics are unlocked by the story quests. Great game, definitely will be playing this in the future.
Unable to open the game (at all). I literally can’t open the game. As soon as I click on it it kicks me out of of the game, just a black screen that I sit in for 2 seconds before getting booted out. My IPad runs every other game that I have, like PGR, Genshin, Star rail, Wuthering Waves, with no issues at all. It seems like other people are having the same issue as well. I’m not sure what’s happening here but I’m sure the game is good, I just have to wait until whatever issue this is gets fixed so that I can experience it myself
Another money grabbing pay to win game.. Another pay to win horrible gacha rate game. The paid and gain ratio is aboslutely disgusting as one 10 pulls costs $15usd and the pity being 90 and to get the S chatacter is only 0.6%. On atop the pity might give you other characters making hard pity 180 for rate up banner which costs $270 to get a 1 copy of a desired character. Let alone for normal banner. The gameplay itself is also repetitive and gets boring after a few hours. Story being mundane and not unique.
This is hella fun. I love this game a lot. The story. The characters. The graphics. How it always different. But it tends to crash even on the lower settings. I’ve checked and my device is able to handle the game tho
my new favourite game!!. I'm someone who usually gets burned out easily by games, but this one is different! The music is amazing, the aesthetics are great, and the story is short and easy to understand. I've been playing almost every day since the release, and I plan to continue doing so.
Perfect ❤️. I LOVE games like Genshin Imapact and Honkai Star Rail. When this game came out I saw ads everywhere about Zzz. The characters and storyline is so interesting and amazing. The visuals in this game is immersive and so unique. There’s a lot of small details that make Zzz such an amazing game. The environment is so interesting and so big that makes me want to explore more in New Eridu. 10/10 recommend this game. If you love RPG and fantasy games then this is the game for you.
PS Layout Controller Support. I really love the game, but it would be better to also have PS layout controller support
This game is amazing. I like this game because it’s a bit like a mix of Genshin impact and Honkai which are two games I like. Some things are a bit annoying like how much tv gameplay there is but otherwise it’s great.
3Star to 4Star. To be honest, it’s getting better. Every single day I just keep on playing till my energy ends & completing every quest as possible. As a dolphin player, I have no regrets haha. I only spend when I want the character, battlepass & daily pass only. I don’t do energy refills unless needed to which I only stop when it says 100poly. Looking forward to the future of this game. Rating went from 3 to 4.2/5.
Fantastic game:). I would like to announce this game is truly amazing and wonderful for 4 reasons, but there are some suggestions. 1. This game has unique features that other games do not have , for example the game mechanics. 2. Zenless zone zero has a very limited area of space which makes this game less tiring and more interesting. 3. Zenless also has unique modes like the arcade which is also known as godfinger which you can play mini games which is very interesting. 4. This game also provides us very unique equipment like the discdrives and the W-engine which improves the agents stats like damage and health, I like the way that the developer uses different tiers like S,A and B which the higher the tier the higher the boosts, the thing I dislike is that the higher the tier the more exp you have to put in the equipment, though this is not a bad reason, it’s just a suggestion, the other suggestion is that the developers could add new chapters starting from chapter 3 and move onto 4 and 5 and possibly 6, if they could also add more levels to the trust levels for the agents and lastly add more levels to your character 'wise’ or 'Belle’ from level 60 the 70 and add more agents to make the game ongoing :)
Great game for a hack and slash genre, but one problem. The gameplay is great, I love the game’s animations and flashy effects with the issue of that it being kinda repetitive, you mainly just put your thumb stick forwards and spam attacks until the enemies attack for a perfect assist.
The game is too good but have some minor issues I face. This game come some unique features that other games doesn’t provide… but some bugs and hitting issues just ruin my gaming experience if next upcoming update fix those issues so this game will more grow… and please that’s my request don’t ruin this game… please fix those issue I faced other wise the game is pretty good and if, if you are added some locations just like genshin impact so, exploration wise the game rise… nd again I said that please fix bug, nd hitting issues…
Wont launch. Crashes 2 seconds immediately after I try get into the app
Very skidibi 😋😋😋😋. This gaem is so good and very fun 👍👍👍👍 you need a good device tho and yall have iPhone 7s I'm sorry but no 😰😰😰 Ignore the comments about Genshin btw this is ZZZ 😭😭😭
The lack of people of colour. Hoyoverse is no for its colorism and racism and appropriation so a game like zzz should have been its chance to do better, especially with how global their audience is now, but they have proven they can’t do it. A game about urban culture and hip hop culture is impossible to enjoy without the presence of black characters
Wishing animation + character design. The wishing animations for this game are incredibly creative with the TV design. The character designs for the wishes are also amazing with all the cyberpunk kind of vibes to it. Each character looks like the developers put some real thought into the design as well which is great!
Von Lyacon, My Pookiebear.. Von Lyacon, my pookiebear, oh where do I begin. The joy you bring me is immeasurable, and your presence is a soft warmth in a cold, unforgiving world. Throughout the bustling streets of New Eridu and the world beyond, you are the only one for me. For no other individual- lupine or otherwise- could possibly steal my heart in the way that you have. Von Lyacon, my pookiebear.
Really Great Value for a free game. The only thing I have against the game is the gatcha mechanics, it could be more generous. Everything else is amazing. Great graphics, audio, art, animation and combat.
LONGEST Review. **Zenless Zone Zero** by miHoYo is a vibrant action RPG set in a futuristic, urban world. The game boasts stunning cyberpunk-anime visuals, bringing the cityscape and its diverse characters to life. #Graphics and Visuals The high-quality graphics and unique art style create an engaging environment that stands out. # Gameplay and Mechanics Combat is fast-paced and fluid, emphasizing skill and strategy. Players can switch between characters, each with distinct abilities, to create dynamic and strategic gameplay. Overall, Zenless Zone Zero offers a fresh and captivating ARPG experience.
10/10 Customer Support. Yesterday, I whinged at Hoyoverse’s Customer Support team that my account is dogsh*t because all my friends got an early 5* and I lost the 50/50 to Grace when I wanted Lycaon. Today, my Ellen came with a Lycaon in the same ten-pull. 10/10 Customer Support - Thank you for quickly fixing my issue of not having Lycaon on my account.
Small bug issue .. It keeps me stuck going back and forth at the beginning of entering the hollow of the bang boo merchant quest where u have to find the bangboos please fix it I’d like to play the game thanks for making it it’s awesome!
Satisfying. This game meets my needs for a hoyoverse game the animations are top notch and the interactions are funny it’s not popular because we need more streamers playing it love it
I love this game. I honestly thought this would be another genshin clone i wouldn’t like but OMG! the combat is AMAZING, it flows super well and makes you feel awesome, the characters and storyline are all soooo good, the graphics are flawless and works perfectly on my ipad air and i have encountered 0 glitches so far even thought it’s only been out for a couple months. Good job devs!! The cutscenes are also amazing, and are so fluid and express so much character. usually i hate cutscenes so this is a step up! same goes for all of drawn comic style segments, they’re super great. The theming of the game is also really awesome, it feels super, like, techy and modern while still being really easy to use. ps: that little social media segment in the start of the game is so hilarious and so real
Love this game, but why is there only ONE black character?. To start this off, there is an extremely racist artwork in-game that depicts an “record case” called “fire lily” that looks like a racist characteristics of black people. I don’t get how this was even allowed? Not to even mention how we only have ONE somewhat black character in-game, nekomata. Every single hoyoverse game seems to have at least ONE token black character, and it’s frustrating how people have to wait so many patches (months) to even get a second black character. I love this game so far, it looks super cool with the new style! But there genuinely needs to be a statement made on all hoyoverse game accounts addressing the racism/colourism allegations.
Animated, addictive and fun!! ✨✨. You can tell a lot of work was put in every detail of this game, the story is interesting, character design is stunning, the farming for materials are effortless, the gacha is fair and it’s just so FUN! I’ve never had an issue with it running on my phone or PC as I play between the two. This is a stellar game. As it’s a live service game, new events and content gets added all the time so I can’t wait to see the game grow!
Love it!. I’ve been a follower of hoyoverse since genshins release and used to love genshin, but got sick of it and Honkai because it felt like I wasn’t able to invest myself into the games, and just ended up grinding sadly. Zzz on the other hand has such unique visuals and art style, and takes a new narrative and thematic path which I’m loving! Its so much more lowkey and gentle, letting you get a cup of coffee in the morning and a scratch ticket from a dog with painted nails, and it has so many refined features from the other games like energy and loot domains which are much improved from their previous releases. The gameplay is fun and dynamic, and the story is simple and immersive. Characters are good (tho hoyo female design strikes again), and I’m loving getting to know the game! Definitely a good game for people who like brighter colours, fun, and games that have effort put in to all their systems.
Would be a five star but the game continues to crash. This game is fun, the graphics the story line everything is great about this game. The only problem is the amount of crashing i experience while playing the game. I’ve tried everything, uninstall and reinstall the game, change all my graphics to low, everything but it continues to crash. The crashing is most noticeable and most annoyingly at the mission Trace To The Source. It’s impossible for me to pass that mission because my game continues to crash at the second stage of the boss fight and it’s just infuriating. Please fix
To combat the negative one star reviews. This game should not get hate just because it’s made by the same creators as Genshin
Still waiting for pre registration rewards. Good graphics, the slowest level up game, the interaction is great not to many glitches, but the rewards are slow as please fix the above issues plus my preregistration reward!
If every free game is like this the world will be a better place. Honestly I don’t know why people rate less than 5 for this game. I get to experience the best stories, graphics, and gameplay without even having to pay anything. And you think it’s bad compared to the rubbish free games out there?
No Ads, Great Gameplay, Minor Issues. The game has pretty unique, technical gameplay and it’s clear the creators tried to go for something different. The game feels on par with something on a console (because it literally is) and has no advertisements. The game has a long story and the characters are bouncy and a lot of fun. The only minor issue I have with this is the fact that the game tends to crash a lot, despite my device (I think?) meeting the requirements. Other players have reported this problem as well, but it seems to be different for everyone and could be a problem on my end. All in all, you should definitely install. There’s a lot to do.
Even though I haven’t played the game yet Ik it’s gonna be super awesome!. Zenless zone zero looks super fun as playing all hoyo games(except the thermis one)i tried it once and it gave me memories of hi3(honkai impact 3rd)it’s a 5 star tier list!
Best gameplay on mobile / Don’t believe all Critical reviews. This game gives you most console-like game experience on mobile phone with great frame rates and graphics. It’s amazing how great it looks while playing so smooth. I love other games as well but this one has most convenient play style mixed with best actions. Don’t trust all critical reviews since some people are just blaming this company in reviews for a different game which is ridiculous.
Loading in. When I’ve tried multiple times to download the resources It says insufficient storage when I have plenty of storage space I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app but it still didn’t work
Issue getting past first cutscene. I’m encountering a problem where I can’t get past the first cutscene with the cunning hates squad, as every time the cutscene ends, the game freezes and then quits on itself. It’s rather annoying, and I’ve tried configuring some of the settings, as well as running diagnostics, but everything seems fine. Is this just because I don’t have the correct system requirements? Or is there a way to get past this?
We have problems.. 1, why is this game not free on PlayStation? 2, why isn’t Sunday playable on hsr yet? 3, thanks for a new game though! 🥰🥰
Love it ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨. This game is AMAZING and everything is so fun, the characters have amazing animations and fun personalities and gameplay and there is so much in the game even tho it just released, not only that but it’s crazy generous and kind to players, the combat is smooth and satisfying and the TV elements that people complain about is still really good there is so much possibilities form the layout to the gameplay. Yes does game does have bugs and sometimes glitches but so what, it just released and it’s never so major that it impacts gameplay, all games have bugs and glitches it’s fine. LOVE THE GAME and do give it a try <:
Need work on the boring TV gampelay. Other than that everything is exciting and great overall
Fix your colourism.. I actually very much enjoy the game play and story. However morally I cannot get past the company’s refusal to represent the people of cultures they take inspiration from. They white wash their few darker skin characters, stereotype them, hints of blackface in some of the street art/posters in game. And it’s a big reason why I will never spend money on this game. Or any of the company’s other games.
Better than Wuthering Waves. I said it and I don’t need to explain it
fun story and great graphics. it’s really different from Genshin and Honkai Star Rail which might be a bit jarring at first, but it’s fun. It’s more comedic, the gameplay is simple, the graphics are great especially when you switch characters during battle and the storyline is entertaining. My only problem is how long the summoning screen is when you wish but you can skip it anyways.
Great game, better graphics. I’ve been playing this game for the past week or so and I’ve grounded all the way to IK 30. My luck has been not so great getting Soldier 11 from the guaranteed 50 starter pity. Then I slowly grinder for 90 pulls and got AN S RANK W-ENGINE. All that for nothing. Got Ellen Joe with 81 pity too so that wasn’t great. Great f2p game graphics are simply amazing, soundtracks are awesome and the characters may have a bit too much jiggle physics.
Good game. The game is good, unfortunately it takes a while to pick up with the TV system being my main gripe as it breaks immersion.
Great Gameplay~ with even more room to grow. Version 1.0 - the release patch has been extremely stable with only 1 bug encountered so far. The combat gameplay is well polished with stylised movement and combos that feel rewarding to execute, the environments are very detailed and I just wish we could spend more time roaming them rather than the 1-3 minutes per combat segment. The TV dungeon element is personally enjoyable but I recognise that it does slow down the action a fair bit? Being disjointed from the combat. hopefully as future versions release we can see a bit more of a balance for players who prefer either game mechanic and as we get more characters added to the game too.
Great Overall. It feels like a PS2 Game and the unique gameplay and storytelling also works for people who just want to play casually. I love the trap+electro music and the funky vibe and the character designs are excellent.
I love your games but…. The start of the game is really good but then it says to download full version and it takes forever it has been like 2 hours and it’s only downloaded 7.96% 😭

aye bru gimme my storage back nga 😭. game legit closes on me when i open it for a second no diddy 👌
Fun game. I think it's great! The game is fun and there's lots to do in the game aside from the main story. Honestly I haven't played on my phone yet, but only on pc lol. I believe the only reason people are complaining is because of phones that don't meet requirements... It's obviously not going to run well on a lower end phone x)
Racist Company and glitchy game. Game constantly crashes and the amount of whitewashing across all hoyoverse games is so frustrating and if they want to cater to a GLOBAL audience then they need to create more diverse casts of characters. Also get rid of that racist poster on the CD store.
Characters. the character designs are so over sexualized specifically the women and there’s just too much fansevice, you can make good characters without skin showing. but other than that I really do like the game play.
Hurry up with fixes!!!!. This game is an absolute mess. It is consistently crashing, especially on the mission “trace the source” and thanks to immersive storytelling I am soft locked I will quit writing these reviews. The moment that you actually pull up some fixes for this game I have tried everything from deleting apps on my main device for more storage for your absolutely massive game. Turning down my visual settings as well as audio settings and uninstalling and reinstalling the game none of these have fixed the problem at least allow me to skip missions by paying in-game currency or allow me to turn off immersive storytelling and not locking rank ups behind story mission completion. things like immersive, storytelling, and locking progression behind completing certain story missions, which may not be possible. Thanks to consistent game crashes is asking for players to be soft locked on your game please add some quality of life changes so I can play your game I will continue writing reviews until they come.
Mihoyo's "Zenless Zone Zero": A Cultural Betrayal?. Mihoyo, the developer behind popular games like Genshin Impact, has recently come under fire for their latest release,Zenless Zone Zero. While the game boasts impressive visuals and gameplay, a closer look reveals a disturbing trend: a blatant disregard for Chinese culture in favor of a "spiritually Japanese" aesthetic. Nowhere is this more evident than in the game's main setting, New Eridu. Specifically, the Janus Quarter within the Sixth Street district is overflowing with Japanese-inspired elements. From the architecture to the narrative details, nearly 70% of the content is either directly or indirectly related to Japanese culture. This leaves a meager 5% or less for Chinese cultural references, most of which are relegated to plain text with little visual impact. This is a far cry from the approach taken by Wuthering Waves, a game that heavily incorporates Chinese culture into its storytelling and character design. The contrast between the two games is stark, raising questions about Mihoyo's motives. By prioritizing Japanese culture over Chinese, Mihoyo is not only neglecting its own heritage but also contributing to a dangerous trend of cultural imperialism. This "soft power" tactic has long been used by Japan to exert influence over other countries, and by supporting Mihoyo, we risk further empowering this harmful practice. Zenless Zone Zeromay be an entertaining game, but its cultural appropriation is a serious issue that cannot be ignored. As consumers, we have a responsibility to support companies that respect and celebrate diverse cultures, not those that exploit them for profit.
Another one of MHY’s trash. I can perfectly say, if this game wasn’t made by MHY, once it dies no one will even know, people need to stop being dogs for mhy, is a company ain’t your master.
First. First review chat
Crashing. It doesn’t even show anything or waste one second before closing down when I open it, waste of gigabytes at this point
Racism. It’s not that hard to give characters dark skins in a game but white washing the new genshin impact characters that are based off off real life dark skinned gods, that is hugely disrespectful and racist, especially when there was no reason for them to be white in the first place and making white characters represent the cultures that don’t belong to white people (and historically white people have been oppressing/destroying said cultures) is insulting to have something used like this for money. Hoyoverse has literally turned black people white… giving white NPC’s dreads and making only enemies black. "Dark skinned characters won’t sell in china" yes because they keep making their kits garbage and even the Chinese players are complaining about the racism in these games so who are you making these games for? The own voice actors of these games and even some developers have been complaining about the racism in these games. Listen to the voices and you still have time to fix all this. Dark skin is beautiful too and don’t let anyone tell you all that it isn’t whoever reads this! All/most of the characters are supposed to represent a cultural figure. It is inappropriate for hoyoverse to make almost all of the characters so pale. The only character that could be considered “dark” is lasan. Even so, she is ashy so it doesn’t truly count. It’s not that hard to NOT be racist.
Huge!!!. Be prepared to delete a lot of stuff. The game is way bigger then 3G I have 5g free space since downloading and still can’t complete the full game download due to insufficient space… I really wish games were more clear about all the space needed.
Irritated beginning.. Make us download 19299 mb in the app after installing so we could play, and tell us after the fact that we can’t play until the fourth.
game just like any other hoyoverse game. (This review was made the first day of release) Like the title said, the game is just like any other hoyoverse game. It is colourist and these developers simply cannot make a character other than lightskinned. They are scared of melanin. Children in this game are sexualised. Gameplay and animation are smooth and fun, decent story. Honestly, the developers are capable of making a better game but just won’t.
Fix Natlan. We don’t care if it comes out, fix your race issue
Won’t even open. Game won’t even open, and when it dose for the second - the screen is black.
Stupid. Who the hell makes a mobile phone game that requires almost 55 gb of storage too play Like I’d give a 0 star if I could but I can’t so you get a 1 for this stupid game
A blast!. Such a fun time! User friendly! A bit of a learning curve but the universe, characters, armosphere and animations drew me in immediately! I love that with ever update I get to increase resolution without having to worry about performance! Thank you for this great game!
Lack of diversity. Most of the women look like children and having a lack of skin tones other than white makes this game gross to me.
Monotonous, hand-holdy movie game. Tldr: Zenless Zone Zero is a simple game with a tutorial rivaling the length of The Godfather I'm just gonna cut to the point. Zenless Zone Zero is a disgustingly simple game with a disgustingly complex tutorial that is unneeded. I know this because I've played games that are far more complex with a very simple tutorial. Now I get to talk about Ultrakill. Now is it unfair to compare the two? Not really. The point here is a game can be complex but not require a tutorial equally as complex. Where Ultrakill has simple tutorials that blends with the gameplay, key word here: Agency. This is my main problem with Hoyo games, they are terrified of giving their players agency. They don't allow the player to figure things out for themselves, am I saying you NEED a tutorial that explains nothing? No. What I'm saying is that a tutorial explaining nothing is better than a tutorial explaining everything. The way I see it, games follow the same 9 minute rule film does, a game has 9 minutes to captivate the player. In a game like Zenless Zone Zero, it is entirely possible to discover everything yourself, completely nullifying the necessity for an obnoxiously long tutorial. Contrast this with again, a game like Ultrakill, where even with how complex the combat can get, it explains very little and allows for experimentation, again that key word: Agency. I use the term "movie game" very sparsely but in a game where gameplay is constantly screeching to a halt, cutscenes are just another annoyance.
Worst miHoYo game so far. Biggest disappointment with its boring gameplay. Enemies spend more time just standing around than attacking you. Literally HP sponges.
Overall a decent game. Pro: Animations, cut scenes, UI, combat, music and all the designs are all amazingly well done. The attention-to-detail in world/character building is what really surprised me. Con: The story so far is just okay. It’s slow progressing & lacks a main plot. The gacha system, however, is straight terrible. It is hard on FTP with the extremely slim drop rate & can be quite expensive if u want to invest in the game. It basically takes lots of pulls to gradually increase ur chances of getting the prized character/weapon. Then when u get to it, the first pity is not even guaranteed, predatory gambling don’t u think?
Remove the blackface. End the racism remove that poster!
Disappointed. A bit boring and takes up way too much space for a mobile game. When I preordered the game is said it required 3GB for the game, but downloading the full version required 19229MB. I had enough space for the game but it told me I had insufficient storage so I had to delete even more apps off my phone even though I had enough storage to download the full game. The UI is also pretty confusing, I had a hard time navigating. The combat is not that fun and difficult to understand. I wanted to progress through the main story (chapter two IIRC) but it has a bunch of tedious side tasks you need to do first. I wasn’t having fun and it kind of felt like a chore with the amount of things this game wants you to do daily so I uninstalled.
First. First
the character roster abysmal. the story and gameplay barely anything to make up for it. aside from the huge colorism issue all your games share, the ratio of female to male characters is abysmal?? not to mention its obvious the focus is on female limited s ranks with one male character sprinkled into each faction, and out of that tiny group one s rank. its an insult to say the least trying to string along the demographic that enjoys male characters you secured from star rail and genshin without making the same investments the two others had. i'd prefer it went the same route as honkai impact than this pathetic mess lol
GAME SUCKS COMPANYBSUCKS. This game is rlly racist and the company is racist for creating their game like this
Need more male characters. Need more male characters
Why is it so much space??. I was genuinely so excited for the release but what is up with that storage space.. I hope it goes down soon so more people can play it but for now it’s way too unrealistic for a mobile game.
A well polished garbage. Can’t believe mihoyo can produce this kind of garbage
Game crashes. Im having the same issue as a lot of people, my phone can run genshin and honkai, it can run witherwaves or whatever its called. Im able to boot up zenless, i have the 19gb full game download, i have plenty of storage, i go through the cutscenes, i get to the cutscene of billy and his friends running away from the police or something. If i let it play and it ends or i skip the cutscene, the game crashes, mind you the cutscenes run fine. Im on an iphone 8 btw
My review. I'm running a 5 yr old xr and it's still holding up, so that sounds like a skill issue ZZZ probably has my favourite combat mechanics in all the hoyoverse games. it oozes with style and pizzazz
Black screen of death. It says it should be compatible with my device but no matter how many times I uninstall/reinstall or restart it won’t load and immediately crashes, sucks I was looking forward to playing;;;
hot daddy male characters that's not a furry when. title :3
Garbage. Garbage!
Needs guy chaeacters. Ik they know people will get characters if the anime waifus ir whatever. but they released 1.2s cgaracters and there are still no guys. but very good game other than that. needs more combo attacks like anby
Mid. Game needs so much data and doesn’t open often The ads are cute though
Literally unplayable. I can’t even open the app, I have the minimum requirements and It won’t open. it’s just a black screen and it crashes.
Address the clear and consistent colourist and racism.. Hoyoverse has created many wonderful games but the fact of the matter is that they all lack diversity in representation of different cultures and races. As a poc gamer I find the best games are the ones that have the most diversity in characters. Disgusting that Hoyoverse lacks this quality while taking from other cultures.
!!!. I was really excited to play this game but it crashes when I open it on mobile.
Mid. Honestly, go play honkai star rail and Genshin. Everything is mid here.
Ultimate Glazing. The character designs and map is amazing.
I love the characters we have so far.. I love the way you designed the characters, for an example, the hair’s colour and cut is unique for each character. Keep going!
Is it just me. It keeps kicking Mr out every time i try to play
Honestly kinda sucks. So first we have barely any male characters in game or any limited ones only limited female characters. And the oversexualization of them especially Ellen Joe.and the game takes up way to much storage to be a mobile game.
The woke crowd 😂😂😂😂. The woke crowd having a fit about this game is comical. As a black person please stop talking for us. You’re all clearly very white.
Cannot get into the game. I cannot get into the game, it’s just a black screen then it just closes itself
Odd cultural experience.. This game is full of hiphop rap and other cultural motifs clearly inspired by Black and Afro-Latino American people yet once again hoyoverse decides to not reflect on the global market it promises to serve. The global market which should include Black and brown people. Just add melanin to characters, cause if you can do wolf, bears, shark, and oni people with blue skin, its not that hard to include Black and brown people in designs.
First impressions. The ball side quest made rage quit this game plus it takes a lot of storage, the combat is good but I dont like these side quest anymore and I dont think its suitable for mobile
Had to stop playing. Too many underage characters that the fanbase (and some would argue the game) are sexualizing. My teen was playing with me until they realized how big a problem this was. They probably should have just stuck with adult characters if this was the intent of the game developers. I’ll stick with Genshin instead.

Just Bringing Balance Back. All the angry Genshin children throwing a hissy fit over their game are now taking it out on the game that actually has some form of representation. But facts getting in the way of feelings have never stopped them before, so what else is new? Between that, angry content creators, WuWa fanboys and people playing the tutorial only before slandering this game, ZZZ has an uphill battle ahead of it, which is a shame because it’s one of their best games in recent memory. Something that’s unique and refreshing in a sea of clones. The combat and animations are smooth and fun and the story is really engaging so far (I'm level 38) so I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next. Don’t listen to the naysayers and crybabies, give it a shot. You won’t regret it.
Zzz. Zenless zone zero is an action based story game which is similar to honkai impact and punishing gray raven, the visuals are beautiful and the character building is great some would call the game “button mashy” but strategy is still involved in play otherwise the enemies would knock you out. The tv 'exploration' can get a bit annoying but i only find it such if your replaying story on several accounts (i play on 3) The characters are great and as with near all gacha games you do get the free pulls,,, just by spending time leveling up and other mini-quests. All things considered when loooking at the general gacha market zenless zone zero so far seems to be one of the most generous out there along with having great gameplay, i'd defiantly recommend checking this out and if you do i hope you enjoy the game💕
MY FAVORITE HOYOVERSE GAME I HAVENT GOTTEN BORED LIKE EVERY OTHER GAME. ZZZ is SO fun and gets so much undeserved hate, like why is it only 4.0 stars rn? It's new and unlike wuthering waves release, yet, I've seen WuWa get mre love. the plot is cool, the character's are cool, and i LOVE inter-knots concept soso much. i also love the proxy job thing (i forgot what its called lol) where u help navigate through tv's, and overall the playstyle is unique and fun like the character switching. character designs are gorgeous and the comic book format is amazing and honestly reminds me of persona outside of gameplay. i've seen some reviews talking about storage and i think that's stupid since it's not the games fault. if you care so much about storage just dont get it? anyways im in love with the fighting mechanics and everything and im rlly excited for the rest of this game :DD
Fun combat. I’ve been having a ton of fun playing this game since launch and really have enjoyed the combat, it reminds me of a cross between the Arkham series, devil may cry, and ultimate alliance blended into on fighting system. I also think a good amount of the character designs are pretty cool as well. Now the game is somewhat large at 20gb but for most phones that aren't ancient have over 120gb of memory anyway so it’s not that much in the grand scheme of things. Plus it is pc/ps5 game also being released on mobile so of course it’s going to be a bit large. All in all I’d highly recommend giving it a try may take a little to download but if your a fan of the combat systems I mentioned earlier I guarantee you’ll have fun with this game.
Don’t play games like this first time. I really don’t understand this game people are giving it bad reviews and good reviews I don’t like it lied in a ad that you get 100 free summons or whatever I got the game and it doesn’t give you that and it will crash I have 5g so I find it really stupid I can’t play it without crashing and some of the reviews are talking about storage people are complaining and I can understand why it’s a mobile game but then there are people acting like you should just buy more storage if you want to play the game or just delete everything some people don’t want to buy more storage to play a game and people don’t want to delete everything on their phone and people think that you just a cry baby because you can’t download the game even though people say they have 70 gb of free storage but still can’t download it to sume this all up I don’t like the game because it crashes lies in there ads and it is 25 gb and is a mobile game so I don’t recommend this and really don’t like how toxic the community is
Avoid this one switch 2. Read they might bring this to switch 2. Games under a 4.0 better off not even going to other platforms. So many bad reviews on crashes and game being to big on phones. Their revenue dropped like around 70% in August. Still making good money though. Thing I’m going to reach out to semi congressman or senator to put limits on gacha games. So many gacha games and with bad rates and other things. Aimed toward kids and if you get kid into gambling then before a certain age then when they are adults they will have a gambling addiction. Need new laws and even a age requirement or a ban. If they have laws for lottery, probably need laws set for other forms of gambling like in gacha. Then, why are there so many complaints about racism’s and it starting to be like a trend last few years and more for movies.
zzZ. ive played like 10 hours of the game and honestly i now understand why they call it zzZ snoozefest honestly. The fighting is alright. More annoying than anything how they force you to switch so often, like id rather they didnt slow my game for wanting to play a certain character with the prompt. And omg how annoying it is when they stop you from moving in the HDD just to say some unimportant line stops you for 5 seconds then says “oh lets scan this area”, like it happens so often 😂 like why dont they just talk while we’re playing. Omg the talk scenes are such a bore like let me playyyy. Its a comic like game why not just add panels to the side while we’re in game or just say it. But instead they just stand there, forcing us to just sit an watch idle images. The whole game is like 80% talking 😂 And honestly if i wanted that id go back to genshin and finish all the story quest. Making people Stop and Wait just for a talk scene over and over and over is not fun
My Very Short Opinion. All I’ve seen about this game were the griping about the excessive GB or how “the only way this game would survive is through its unyielding cult”. I, myself, have played Hoyo games for years, every Hoyo game I have an account for. Now, I’m not some crazy prowler obsessed, but when it comes to combat games or storyline games like this, Hoyo is definitely a journey I’ve been yearning for. I’m praising it because it’s a game perfect for me, not saying it beats other games. Just a game that suits me. Besides the negative aspects, I don’t mind the eating of storage or that this game came from Hoyo. I’m looking for fun, excitement, an entire new game changing experience! Just my opinion and review upon this app, I think it’s being overlooked by the patent troubles than it’s getting positive recognition for.
Fun game with potential to be even better. The swap mechanic is fun and can lead you do many different combos by quick swapping since your characters stay on field for their attack and special animation. It offers for much depth in combat for future characters. Timing is also key in combat in swapping and in certain attacks I like the ingenuity of the tv and how it offers different possibilities for exploration. While there is room for improvement, it’s provides a change of pace and a calm before the storm you will face in the combat, making the combat even more refreshing. The music amazing and I was shocked by how many different beats there were. I can’t wait to see more characters in New Eridu and beyond and hangout with them in game.
Regarding the dumb reviews. I saw all the reviews from a bunch of Karens saying the game is over sexualized, or how there is too much things to do for combat and not laid back type of auto combat like hsr. My complain is, this game isn’t tweaked to your liking, so if you prefer casual games, don’t play. Just as there are millions of non auto battle or casual games out there. Second, it’s an anime game, ofc it will have unrealistic proportions. Guess what? They are animated characters! Y’all never seen anime or cartoons before? If you were to stop playing a game solely based off of the characters wearing tight clothes then you shouldn’t play games or speak your opinion to begin with. Funny how genshin and zzz men are also wearing sexualizing clothes (shirtless with jacket on, tight fit top that shows abs easily, etc) But when it comes to female charas y’all freak out. I swear people who complain about these never play gacha games or watch anime before, and I recommend you guys just to not play any games besides board game AT ALL because you guys can’t handle the little things. I’m a women btw I just hate seeing invalid opinions from Karens. Please rate the game for the gameplay not because you prefer casual games (which this is not) and you don’t like the characters’ clothed.
Genuinely more annoying than fun. I never wrote a review but this game is actually so annoying. The characters keep interrupting me while I’m trying to play the game like the tv’s is the best example I can give for this, if anyone says anything even something that isn’t important at all you get completely stopped and you’re forced to just sit there. When they try to give you advice like “do this do that” even though you already know how to do it yet you’re stuck waiting for them to tell you how to do it with no way to actually skip it you can only speed it up slightly. The combat isn’t even that fun either there’s like no combo’s you just click the attack button and that’s it, you barely need to dodge because the enemies are stupid. And you get almost no freedom? Like I just wanna do something else than the main quest wants me to do but I have to do the main story or else I literally can’t play the game.
Good polished game, interesting story, but not fun to play. Love the character design, music and all the details mijoyo put into this game. But I must say, I didn’t enjoy this game as much as I do in honkai. The UI is hard to recognize and makes it hard to navigate. To unlock the special events, you have to finish the 2nd chapter and be at level 30 at least which is not very friendly for players who just started the game or just wanna play the events. Lastly, this game crushes constantly, I am playing on my iPad 9, genshin and honkai runs smoothly without crashing on this iPad but when it comes to this game, it always crushes between loading and sometimes I missed the story because of that. The game would curbs like 3 times within half an hour of game play. Horrible! Developers please fix this.
Best Hoyoverse Game, But One Major Flaw. I love almost everything about this game. The characters are great, and the animation’s are fantastic. The story is also pretty good so far to the point I’ve gotten to. While the combat isn’t very difficult, I think it’s still really fun. The gacha system is also better than Genshin and Honkai. Although the one major thing that makes this game not 5/5 for me is that there’s to much. The ui isn’t very user friendly in my opinion, there’s so many tabs and things you can open. And normally I think the more the merrier in games, but there is just to much stuff I can do and I can’t remember all of it. Although this could just be a skill issue on my part, it’s just to much. I highly recommend this game though, I’ve had lots of fun playing it. Two thumbs up/Two thumbs that I have to put up.
Colorist Company. This game is developed by the same exact company who use people of colors culture for aesthetics and then make their characters sickly pale. Hoyoverse has gone as far as to take the supreme god of the Yoruba religion, Ọlọrun, rename him to “Ororon”, and whitewash him. We as players understand that the world of your games are fictional, but if you're going to use real world culture, then do it right and respectfully. Genshin isnt even the only problem. Your racism is also evident in Honkai Impact 3rd, Honkai Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero. In HI3, your character Carole has a racial stereotype as her mother and she is written to hate her skin. In HSR, Arlan has racist undertones in his skill names. In ZZZ, there is a small poster outside the music store that has straight up blackface on it. Theres so much more issues I could bring up like the orientalist outfits in both HI3 and Genshin or the way this company treats their dark skinned characters. This is completely unacceptable and I hope that Hoyoverse as a company, listens to their audience.
I might be addicted ngl. Gonna start off by saying that most of the 1 star reviews are angry Genshin Impact players review bombing this game because they’re upset with the developers doing things they don’t like. While I understand their frustrations, review bombing an entirely separate game isn’t going to make the developers change things. Grow up. Anyway… Zenless Zone Zero is the most fun I’ve had playing a video game in a long time. The combat is great and easy to learn, the characters are fun with great voice acting, and the cutscenes are animated beautifully. Most importantly, the gacha system is pretty fair, and the game gives you a good amount of gacha materials, making the game pretty free-to-play friendly, in my opinion. There IS a bit of grinding involved for level-up materials, but it’s not that bad right now since there’s only 15 characters in the game at the moment, and you probably aren’t gonna use all of them anyway. Your best bet would be to start playing now to get a head start on that grind before the number of playable characters doubles.
HI3 -> ZZZ. Okay, here is a serious review to consider. I played Honkai Impact 3rd for years and felt the characters within were so unique and inspired almost cult-like following of fans (Stan’s). With all the new games out, I was hesitant to play this one after playing Genshin for years and finally falling off. I was tired of grinding and still feeling a little behind. The load was too heavy and one you misstep, it is hard to get to the place in which you feel as if you are getting somewhere. Enter ZZZ! The fact that it is more like HI3 and the character development is top tier, I can see investing my effort into this game. If you like flashy action and reasons to get behind a character or team, this is a great stop for your time. Just like Honkai, there is weapon development and more. I hope that there are outfit designs that change the dynamics of that particular character. The music is different and catchy. If you need something different, give it a try. Should you want more of the same as Genshin, there are plenty of others to go for. This one hits differently. Great job guys!
Great game but it won’t open.. I played a little bit of this on my phone and it worked fine and I was really excited for it because it seemed really fun, but I didn’t have the storage space on my phone to play the full version of the game. That was fine, as I have a tablet and could download it there. When I downloaded it on my tablet, however, it wouldn’t open. I restarted my tablet, checked for updates for the device and for the app, and I deleted it and downloaded it again, but nothing helped. Every time I open this game now, it shows a black screen and then quits. I saw another review saying that they experienced the same thing on their device, and it would be really great if this could be fixed. It’s a fun game though!
Needs Work. I’d like to start off by saying the gameplay and visuals are great, game really hit it off in the design department. The characters are gorgeous and all of the models are pleasing to look at with zero flaws. However, the gacha system is outdated and very predatory. Farming for a material to convert it into another material is confusing and not favored by many. There is a reason that Hoyo is widely regarded as the most predatory of all of the gacha game companies. I summoned many times on all of the limited time banners through my own grinding and didn’t get a single ssr, I do not understand how that result is okay in this companies mind but I will not spend money on a game that does not care if I can have fun without it. Games like Dokkan give out tons of dragon stones to allow you to summon and give you many many outlets to farm for stones as well, I have zero problem saving stones in that game because there are outlets for me to farm from. Fix the game please and I’ll give it 5 stars.
Solid game. This game is awesome. My only downside is the UI is a little confusing, but it doesn't take much to get used to. The animation is beautiful and expressive, the combat is very cool and fast, and all the characters look cool. It also starts off a bit slow, but that's to be expected with many games like this one. The lore is interesting, the characters are very expressive, and it's just overall a solid game. 8.8/10 maybe. FOR PEOPLE WITH STORAGE ISSUES, try deleting some photos, apps you never use, and check Settings to see what's taking up the most space! It won't last forever, but it'll help you enjoy the game for a while longer until your storage caps out again!
Best hoyo game. The reason I consider this the best hoyo game is because its an actual game with an actual unique story. This isnt your typical gacha game where the purpose is to grind, its a game with a story, and if you dont like the story, there's always combat missions, exploration missions, and minigames Story wise its a unique concept (dont get me wrong its been done before) but it's overall a unique concept that manages to get multiple parties working together in a singular story and each character has their own personality Gameplay wise its one of the best. You dont need gacha to experience the full game, and despite that the game still gives you so much free stuff. You dont even need codes for a bunch of free spins. The parry and dodge system makes it so its not pay to win and the game requires some basic skill The reason I say all of this is because this game deserves a better review. This is DIFFERENT from hoyo's games, and thats wonderful. Even if you already enjoy hoyo games youll still enjoy this. It just so happens that everyone can enjoy this game, not just gacha grinders
it’s.. a game... personally i have played almost all Hoyo games, i heavily enjoy Genshin and Honkai(both) but this one… eh.. it’s beautiful don’t get me wrong. the characters, animations, voice acting, environment, ect. are all great! it’s honestly just a personal preference of mine that i just don’t really like it. engaging into combat is.. annoying honestly, you have to go through a maze of TVs? i don’t really like how i can’t pick what character i want to run around as. Granted i understand this game is not meant to be the same as other Hoyo games it’s just i was expecting more. I had my hopes up for this game. We all waited for quite some time for this release.. just to get.. this?? it’s personally not my cup of tea, it’s not a bad game but once you’ve played other hoyo games & then you go to Zenless.. eh.. if you’re reading this, try it out for yourself to see if you like it though! like i said.. not a horrible game just not what i was expecting.
Fire game. People be tweaking when they say this game is bad, I love almost all of this game, the story is good, and even if you don’t want to watch it you can skip 90% of it, the other 10% is beautifully animated cutscenes, it’s easy to get the characters you want (I lost my 50/50 at nearly max pity, and still got Ellen while going to max pity again, completely f2p) the combat is good, and as someone with poorer internet, I’m amazed at how smooth the game is able to run, while still looking good, and the combat isn’t to complicated, so you don’t really have to worry about messing it up, unlike games like wuthering or genshin, as a mobile player, this game is definitely one of my favorite games over ever played
It’s pretty mid….. I’ll start of by saying it’s not a bad game just not that great compared to other gachas. Firstly the combat. It’s fun and feels very fluid, although I personally don’t like constantly switching characters mid combat (which the game encourages) the character designs are fun and colorful even though the open area and mission level design is really bland in comparison. Now for the negatives The story is ok I guess but MY GOD is it way 2 dialogue heavy. Thankfully there is a skip button but if u don’t use it u will have to suffer constantly tapping the screen to get past the constant talking. the gameplay while I said the combat it’s self was enjoyable the tv exploration/puzzle sections can go straight to hèll. Like most people have said it takes up to much of the gameplay. Like u will spend 4 minutes doing puzzle in the tv sections and maybe 2 minutes in combat it’s tedious and breaks up gameplay and immersion. It would be better if it was just for one game mode (like I had previously thought). Overall I wish I could say more and give a more detailed review but I just couldn’t get far in the game that’s how un enjoyable it is at the moment. I do hope it improves and I can give hoyo some credit for trying different types of games. But this one just ain’t it. (At least for right now)
Awesome game!. So i’ve never played any games by Hoyoverse, and i’ve been getting a lot of ads by these guys with there 2 most other popular games; Honkai Star Rail and Genshin impact. so when I saw an ad for this one, and was looking for an action packed game, it’s just what I needed. it’s got a great and funny story to it, it’s not like the other games where there’s 10 million ads, or it’s pay to win, or some game mechanic where you have to wait before you can start playing the game again. There’s 2 game modes as you go throughout the game, which is really nice, and it was really easy for me to understand the game. i’m completely addicted to a game that not only has all of that, but an actual account to save your data, and it being just as easy for me to play the game on mobile, or any other device. im addicted! Awesome game!!!
It’s a Gacha game. Nuff said.. Gacha games will always attempt to grab at your wallets and because of that, you won’t get what you want. I’m not wasting my time with characters I could care less about. “But you get guarantees!” YEAH. RANDOM GUARANTEES. This is just a fighting game but you don’t get to choose who you want to play, alongside simple controls and interesting gameplay that will entice you for 10 minutes, just to get to boring map scrollers and when you get the chance to play again, you’ll just realise that the gameplay is just a waste of your time. Play this if you want to waste your money and time, or better yet, just play a different one. When I was in the closed testing, the game let me chose a S tier of my choosing quite early on, but they seemed to have removed that alongside my save data too, which sucked because I had the character I wanted. Also for the love of god if you’re gonna have perk balls in the gacha CAN YOU SPARE US THE FRUSTRATION AND SEPARATE THEM FROM THE THINGS WE ACTUALLY WANT????
One of the best games they’ve made.. There are paid actors and bots hired to trash this game, and it has been proven by comments on Weibo and Bilibili accidentally outputting error messages when trying. And interestingly, these fake comments and reviews praise Wuthering Waves instead. Bottom line is, download this game and make your own decisions because the fake reviews are not representative of it at all. The gameplay starts out quite button-mashy, but this changes. The game actually actively discourages it after a point and on certain characters. The combat is excellent, and some of the best out there on a mobile game. Much, much better than the shallow mechanics in WuWa, so if you were unsatisfied by that, you’ll love this. The UI is absolutely incredible visually, but there are a few screens that I hope are updated soon because navigating them will get much worse as the game expands. Aside from those, it’s excellent. The dailies are among the best out there. You literally log in, open the store, check the news, and get a cup of coffee. It’s very Persona-like, if you liked those games’ social sim aspects and atmosphere, you’ll love this.
An amazing game that gets hate for nothing. This is the first game I’ve done a review for BUT this game is amazing. Now mind you I’ve played a little genshin I got introduced to that game by my fiancés brother and then I saw other games by hoyo and this game let me tell you I can sit there and play for hours and hours and not get bored the dialogues are pretty sweet as well. Just overall the attention to detail and pace of a game where you can take your time you won’t find anything like this. Idk if in the future they will add a multiplayer feature I think that would be cool and let you complete stuff with friends. But other then that I’m really enjoying this game.
It’s fine. Newest game from Hoyo, a mishmash of early 2000s aesthetic mashed with present-future technology. I like the look of it. My biggest issue is the gameplay, specifically the mechanic of combat/progression quests being that navigating sluggishly through a maze of TV screens and fighting mobs that pop up. It gets to be very tedious very quickly, and you are constantly bogged down by the dialogue and incessant chatter from the NPCs in the TV screen slowing down your progress. I will also say that the character designs are same-old, same-old. A glaring lack of male units compared to generic female units, all of them regardless with surface level shonen quality personalities. I suppose that the designs are limited in creativity because this is one of the more grounded installments of hoyoverse games, but they continue to rely on thigh high stockings and tiny shorts far too much. Will anyone give a girl pants and full coverage, or is Jean from Genshin the sole exception of good tailoring? I had tentative hopes for this game but the gameplay itself is immediately lacking in variety. With Genshin Impact you can fight and explore simultaneously. In ZZZ, fighting and exploration of the world is strictly separated. I stopped earnestly pursuing the storyline two days in, and now just log in for dailies out of obligation.
The perfect bridge between casual and hardcore. ZZZ is the perfect bridge between causal and hardcore action game lovers. Don’t expect the likeness of From Software or Street Fighter. It is as advertised, that you will be able to look cool while pulling off combos with mildly low difficulty. Though, don’t think it will be super easy either. As you progress, the fights will become more difficult, requiring better dodges, parry, and team building. And it is during this stage that i find the game to be quite fun. On the other hand, there are a lot of problems with this game that hinder the experience. The progression and unlocking of key mechanisms were extremely slow. Expect 8-20 hours of gameplay before all grind-able elements are unlocked. It is rather frustrating since this is a mobile game and not a single purchase AAA title that does not require daily logins nor an energy cap. While the story is decent, mechanism for story progression and exploration is pretty boring and it does take away your “fun” battle time. Also, don’t expect to run with your gacha characters in the open world. You just simply can’t. They only show up during battle and it’s a bummer for me. Still would recommend ZZZ and it’s a great game. Had a lot of fun despite its problems. As it grows, hope it will improve.
Simple is not always best. After nearly getting to lvl 25 now I can say, they have a LOT of work to keep the game relevant it feels like. But I will say the story is excellent when it is not the side-by-side chat fest. The cutscenes and comic strips are all fantastic to me. As for combat it has a good core but it has a lot missing to be treated “fighting game” worthy to me. But I have no idea if they are going to be willing to bring in more mechanics. I have a couple thoughts that might help but they won't hear is my guess lol. The main thing is how meh each characters playstyle alone is, it can get boring pretty fast playing only one person or focused on one person. Which I know it isn't the focus of the gameplay but a lot of people do just want to focus one character a lot. All the visuals and movements are great to. I hope they do make some adjustments in some way later down the road as long as it doesn't get abandoned.
a-m-a-z-I-n-g. I would give this a 4.5 if I could, but I’m still giving it the 5 stars. First off, the pros, I absolutely love how the character have so much movement and expression during cutscenes. Pro #2 combat is VERY fun, though it is buttonmashey, it’s still super fun. All character have amazingly movement, Ellen being my favorite. The attention to all the buttons makes the combat great! Pro #3 polychrome and boopons are fairly easy to get, if your new choose lycaon as your s agent. This game doesn’t have much cons besides one. The navigation system is hard to use. In the beginning I had to search several tutorials on the system. But that’s mostly it! Definitely a must try.
All Style, No Substance With Bad Pull Rates. Let’s just address the meme first. The animations are bouncy. Not necessarily “peak” or the most creative thing, but it’s unique. But unique cutscene animations for 1/4th of the story aren’t enough to save this. First and foremost, the gacha is horrendous. At worst possible luck, you’ll be dropping $450 on a single character and another $400 on their engine. And with the base rates being less than 1%, there’s a high chance you’ll not have that kind of luck. The game is VERY frontloaded and if you burn through all the free pulls, they dry up like Death Valley. Next, the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. It’s very repetitive. Hope you like really boring “exploration” that amounts to moving a checkers pieces all over the board. With the best part being the combat, you’d think the focus would be there. Missions can take forever too. Theres no quick clear option for previously cleared content. Finally, the install size is absurd. 25-30GB?? For something this limited? My Azur Lane is 12GB and it has had 6 years of development time to get there. Zenless having 2.5 times that at launch means it’s going to get worse as time goes on. PLEASE let us download voices and pre-rendered cutscenes separately or let us delete them once viewed. This could be so much more, but it all these decisions drive me away.
Needs a better gameplay loop.. First off, change the pity system up, 90 pity has been the standard for too long and it’s just not very satisfying anymore knowing that all your pulls until 80 will be worthless junk. Second, the same formula isn’t going to work anymore. The gameplay loop for all of your games are basically the same and this is not very different. WuWa atleast had the balls to add a new system, that being echos. Please innovate a bit more and add more unique parts to your game at least as far as character building goes. In my opinion, you guys have been getting way to comfortable and safe. You release well polished games that come with little to no bugs but they are starting to get stale, my phone only has so much storage and I don’t want to have basically the same three games on my phone.
Racism. I don’t even know where to start. This game has so much potential. I remember playing its beta testing, excited for its release, but dissatisfied with its lack of diversity. It shouldn’t be ok to say that I am not surprised with said lack of diversity given the company the game is made by, however. For years, players of their games have made constructive critiques on characters and other facets of each parts of the games, stating that their cultural appropriation, prejudice and racism is what will ruin this company. Although i’m very glad this issue is becoming exceedingly prevalent than it has been in past years, it’s still sad seeing that this company has been hiding cowardly, hoping it will settle down like it has time, and time again. But it shouldn’t be a problem with wanting to see people who are like you and look like you in media you enjoy. I apologize for the long review, but this had to be said. Hoyoverse. Do better.
Very fun game. I have played every hoyoverse game all the way through (accept tears of Themis and Honkai impact for obvious reasons) and this one is by far the best. I have played it everyday since release and find the combat and exploration to be quite fun. I love the character designs although Hoyovere’s decision to sexualize them more then their other games is certainly questionable. The game itself is not weird or sexually about itself in any way except the character designs except for several mildly edgy jokes. I really hope they continue to work on and update this game. I own every character and have only spent 100$ on it, which was completely my choice and not because of predatory monetization. Overall I would rate this game a 9/10.
4 stars is the lowest this game should be ranked. Its very well Polished and the action/mechanics are super fun. Changing up your team changes how you fight/play and the roster isnt even all that big yet. Ive seen some UI complaints and I honestly dont get it. Yeah its a little busy/cluttered and looks intimidating but I feel like there shouldnt be much confusion with it. Theres simply just a lot of features that they’ll be able to expand on later and at no point did i feel overwhelmed past the first hour or two. I simply rate it 4/5 because of said roster which will expand with time. I’m a f2p player and have zero gripes with the progression so far. Im picky with mobile games and don’t stay very active on a daily basis with most but this feels like a game i look forward to playing daily for an hour or two and applaud the hoyoverse team. Happy hollow exploration proxies 🫡
Na for me but good. I think it’s good and fun but I grind for 60 of those roles and never got the shark lady, and even though I had unboxed S tiers before all the time it wasn’t the shark lady and when I looked at the page and it says it’s a 50% chance to getting her every s tier , I realized I don’t want another game like this where you will grind to get enough to open 10 box’s at once and you have a slight chance of getting what you want and when you finally get the S you think wow I finally got it just to see you got the same s last time, when I realized I got the same S character it made something snap in me , I don’t want a grind app I want a fun one, I don’t want to spend 15 dollars for a chance of getting it, even though it has a system that states you will get a guarantee S it’s like 60 roles to get it and the game is 25 gigs of space
Great first impressions.. First of all, Hoyo once again exceeded expectations with how polished the game is, I’ve encountered no bugs, no crashes, and exceptional quality and performance even on low end devices. The art style and direction is extremely consistent, as well as the voice acting. The tone of the game feels casual, and plays casual, which was intended from the devs, so good job on that. The combat for me is mesmerizing. Parrying is extremely satisfying, combat mechanics are easy to learn and use, and I’m looking forwards for the endgame content in the future. The story is also decent from what I’ve seen, but the personality of characters and their interactions are enjoyable. Also ignore the one star reviews that are talking about Natlan or etc. It’s from another game made by the same company.
People complain too much!. Game runs phenomenal upon release. Fighting is smooth graphics are incredible and story is great so far. I literally NEVER write reviews but here’s the facts. Everyone is complaining about 24GB, get over it. Get a modern device that has 256GB storage and higher or don’t play the game. Whether you play on your phone or on a console it’s the same anywhere. Most console games are HUNDREDS of GBs. The amount of petty complaining is comical. To the Devs, I have been waiting day after day for release and you have not disappointed. I’m hooked right off the get go. The wait was worth it. I don’t care about the size of your game or the future updates, if you keep its running this smooth and with cool content in the future then I’m all for it!
L game. This game is kinda mid ngl and it also uses 50gb but besides that the gameplay is boring and the only fun part about this game which is the combat only happens 30 percent of the time and there’s this tv system that the devs want ppl to do to feel like a real proxy or whatever but it’s honestly just really boring and it feels like real work and not in the good way also you have to level up to progress in the game which takes forever and overall I would give this game 2.5 stars out of five it had a ok idea but the execution was terrible and it feel like your stuck in some tiny city block and it really boring and honestly after the cunning hares part you should just uninstall also I lost my 50/50 at hard pity and got koleda some fatherless orphan who’s like the worst S tier too so um yeaaaah
Please add Google account connections for cross progression. I have made the mistake of connecting my main ZZZ account and progress that I have made on PC to my google account and Gmail. The IOS version does not have the option to link my google account as well so I am not able to play this game on iPhone without starting over on a new save. I was told that I could connect them with my hoyoverse account but my hoyoverse account is already linked to my Gmail and the PC version would not let me do this because there is currently another ZZZ account associated with it (the one on iOS that I don’t use). I have no idea how to unlink it and reconnect it to the PC account that has the Google connection. I think it’s a terrible idea to have google account connections if said connections can’t be utilized on all platforms and players who use it won’t be able to conect their data to other devices. The game itself is fine. Combat is way too brief compared to how much story and dialouge there is but it’s very fun to play.
Best hoyo game. i love this game, and how you need actual skill to progress far into the game. The game just doesnt hand out free things you need to work for it, and thats what makes it special, and the free amount of pulls are extremely generous, i lost my 50/50 but was able to snatch an ellen because the game gives out a whole lot of pulls for the players! Combat is amazing and all the different moves characters have are so unique, the character designs are amazing and the little details really pull it together. Not only that but the different groups they have in the game like pubsec and virtual idol caught my attention because of how unique the characters are designed! the mechanics are cool and it’s not just about button mashing but also strategy.
It was mid. Storage isn’t even an issue. I hate being forced to switch characters. I don’t like the characters. It feels like a bad anime or manga. It is trying to get attention from WUWA and it’s not working. The game crashes for google users (I have both) and there is still too much uninteresting dialogue. Even WUWA has a lot, but does it right and keeps me interested. Heck I play Eversouls and that is like 90% talking and it still is fun. There is too much explaining. I’ve played nearly every game genre in existence. Let me fight! This game was set at a low bar and you guys dropped below that. It’s not the worst game ever but nothing about this game screams greatness. If you want money, make a game worth paying for. I will pay to play a great game. Not a worthless cash grab that isn’t even unique. Genshin, Star Rail and WUWA are the games to play, and I don’t like Star Rail or Genshin. That’s saying something. You guys never learn because you get money from the idiots who only see game and pay money without critical thinking….
God bless Hoyo.. The game ain’t perfect nothing is but people are hating way to much! Pretty much all the 1 star reviews -hate t.vs -didn’t get the char they want -didn’t get all the promised pulls -char race -too many options/ request overwhelmed These are all so petty😭 Like the pulls I get it put giving the game a 1 star because you didn’t get your waifu is insane- it’s a GACHA😱 Look this game ain’t exactly my cup of tea but it’s a PHONE game and compared to the other PHONE games it’s 10x better. And I will be playing it more pretty soon once I get some time! Love the characters btw Give the game a chance stop reading all the negatives reviews don’t be hive minded Go play the game and think for yourself🥹 Thank you hoyo for blessing us yet again.
Finally something different coming Mihoyo. I prefer this game over Genshin impact or star rail because its leaning more into western naming and doesn’t much Chinese influence. The art style are very nice and smooth. Quick time event during combat is refreshing feature. i’m current running medium setting on my Iphone 15 pro max with 125GB of space so i can extend gaming session before my phone get warm. However the in-game economy is wack compare to Genshin and Honkai, it make you feel like you have to spend more to be able to roll for limited time character. However they do give you the option to farm. And the 25 GB is a lot for base game, developer need to allocate or compress the file down so this game would not take a quarter to half of the phone storage in the future update. I would recommend playing this game on laptop or PC.
Amazing Gaming Experience. There seems to be a lot of negativity floating around for this game so I thought I would write my first ever review to try and weigh in. First, the graphics amaze me to no end. It blows my mind how they are able to get a game that is this pretty to run this well on a phone (occasional frame drops aside). Second, the gameplay is super satisfying — it definitely ramps up in complexity as you unlock more of the game and executing those perfect combos is *chefs kiss*. And the cherry on top is how heavily ZZZ leans into early 2000s nostalgia. I grew up playing jet set radio and persona so the aesthetics and style of the game really speak to my heart. Given hoyos track record with Genshin and HSR I’m 100% certain that any minor wrinkles will get ironed out in time and I’m excited to see what they have in store next.
Lots of space, sorta lied about 100 pulls, bad gameplay. -I’ve been playing for a few days and ive been soured by this games experience. First, it takes over 24gb of space which is a lot considering this is the 3-4 game Hoyoverse has made. Second is the so called “obtain 100 free searchers as a gift” thing. While it is sorta true, the creators didn’t give EXACT details. To obtain the 100 searchers, it requires completing EVERYTHING in the event section. That means reaching LEVEL 30, mastering everything, and mass leveling up. So it’s not just ‘you can get 100 pulls’ but more like ‘during the course of this game for a while, you can only obtain 100 pulls and that’s it’. Lastly is the gacha, it has some of the worst features and I almost feel like it’s rigged. Over the course of 3 rerolls for the starting banner, I GOT ALL REDHAIRED LADIES FOR ALL 3. At that moment, I believe that this gacha is rigged and you always get the same character (Note: might just be horrible luck). My hopes for ZZZ are not high and others say the same thing as well. -NikoFortress
I love this game.. So zzz is a VERY addicting game with amazing combat and beautiful characters. The gacha system is made well. The only thing I dislike about the game is how to get to the combat. I feel that the game is a little clunk with the battle modes. I am at the begging right now. I have all Hoyoverse games so sometimes I have to delete some to save storage. I don’t like it that other people a comparing it strictly to Genshin Impact or Honkai: Star Rail. This game is not like those. The characters have their own lovely designs and lore. The only reason this is a 3.7 out of 5 is because people won’t give this game a chance because they are so used to Genshin and Honkai’s ways/ atmosphere. I love this game but please consider a version that you can freely do combat without the whole sliding hacking things.
WHAT??. im so sorry, i know hoyoverse is notorious for making their games have an overwhelmingly amount of storage, BUT 24 GB UPON RELEASE CROSSES THE LINE. i was expecting it to be at least somewhere below 15, since it only just came out, BUT 24? this is horrible. genshin, star rail and honkai impact are both amazing games with amazing graphics but the amount of storage all FOUR games takes up and the storage it WILL take up in the future will have some deadly effect on their future audiences. i’ve been loyal to hoyoverse since before it was even hoyoverse and when it was just Mihoyo, and i’ve had a huge problem with the storage cost. please fix this hoyoverse. you are a great company, but if you truly want to keep your audience, please lower the storage costs, we are all suffering over here. thank you.
Combat and why *5. I will say the combat is a little OK nothing too crazy but I don’t think it’s absolutely horrible. I think the game is very dependent on switching and skills not too complex but I’m sure if you actively pick characters that are then it’s a bit better. I love character, designs, the story in the movement in this game it’s very addicting and I hope to see it thrive in the future. Combat It’s not that bad. I got over it and have played for hours with corin and rin best team lol rin gives corin so much movement just everything visually as well I get this sense this came for younger people but somehow for older people and I hope they get over that though I wouldn’t recommend this game for kids due to hot leaks and mild cussing and feet 🌚
