Old app was better. For a big company that should put out cool stuff, this fails in so many ways. Last years app was better

Major downgrade over old version. This new app is a huge step backwards over the old sugarbush app. There are way too many clicks to access simple things (it was one tap to see all temps on one page on the old app for example). The new app is also buggy. I’ve seen several times where the app seems to show me data for a different resort (for example earlier it showed 10/27 lifts open or something like that which obviously isn’t sugarbush data). It is also extremely annoying that the app keeps prompting me to sign up and login. The map in the app is also completely useless. Did anyone from sugarbush actually test this out before it was released?

Skier. Liked the old website much better

Major downgrade. The app is very glitchy. On first opening, I get “information unavailable” so I have to close and reopen. Very hard to find what you need. There was nothing wrong with the old app. Go back to original UI and make upgrades from there. Also, is there really no groom report anymore??

Not very good!. The previous Sugarbush App was much better, easier to use, more user friendly, less clunky and provided better information.

What’s the deal with the trail map?!. So this app may be good for ordering food or getting resort info but it’s worthless for looking at the trail map. Please fix the map feature.

New app is terrible. Hard to navigate and doesn’t have the info you need when you’re at the mountain. Weather forecast is awful, trails from both mountains are mixed into one list, lift times aren’t listed, event times are wrong. App is basically useless.

Trail reports are useless. There is no connection with the open trails to the trail map. The open and closed trails are listed in alphabetical order on one page while the map is on a different page. It would also be helpful to have the condition reports written by someone who has skied on the mountain.

So bad. Glitchy and terrible. Why is killington app so good and sugarbush so bad. This app feels like it was made 15 years ago.

Information. The actual weather information is marginal At best used to be able to see weather a few days out and snow predictions . Trail report does not show groomed trails . Overall the new App is far more less informative than old website and harder to navigate. Not a fan

New website is big step backwards. It’s gone from 3 temp readings to 1 3 snow readings to 1 Requires you to dig through info to guest services to menu to conditions to simply find which trials have been groomed and/or have snow making in progress!! Also keeps asking you to sign in for personalized experience… I was concerned about the Alterra takeover and this website combined with the Egan & quad pack debacles makes me even more pessimistic on the future of Sugarbush

App is awful. Alpha list of trails is not helpful. Can’t see what was groomed.

Not useful, especially compared to old app. As many have noted, the live map is of not much use when open/closed and groomed/ungroomed trails cannot be seen. Having a list is relatively useless if you do not know where these trails live on the hill. If there is a way to see what trails are groomed in the app, I have yet to figure this out. Weather data and hill stats are also limited compared to old app. That being said, if you are a tourist who wants to know where to shop and eat, but doesn’t care much about mountain stats and trail information, then this app is for you.

Pointless app. This is just an awful app. Literally all I want is a trail map….

Poor. The current app functionality does not flow easily. Tough to get to what I’m interested in. Why have both hills been combined by trail and lift? Does not make sense! If I could give 0 stars as a grade, I would. I have no need for booking a room or buying something. I want to ski and the app provides little help on this front

Overly complicated.. Too much going on. I would like to have the basics on an app. This is just a diet website. Trails, lifts, conditions, web cams… the info I need quick.

Terrible. This new app is the worst. The layout is Terrible. The webcams are clunky and the trails are organized in alphabetical order. Anyone who knows anything about this mountain would know how dumb that is. Plus i have to sign in 2x to make it work.

Improvement suggestion. It would be nice to list all the open trails first, before the closed trails. It would also be nice to update the trail map daily to show only the open trails.

I miss the old app. At least there was detailed information about trails. Considering this is a ski resort seems to me this is one detail that should not be missed. Get it together!!

poor. Did not upgrade from last app just like how the new management here got awful, no wonder so many people who have been going to sugarbush for years are finding different mountains to go to, everything at sugarbush has got worse.

Pointless App. This new app is just not useful. I deleted it and will just go to the webpage for the info since this app is only as good as carrying a paper map with me. I'll upload it when it's more useful and better.

Old app better. Old app had better functionality for the basics.

Can’t sign in. It won’t allow me to sign in and there is no number to call for assistance. It won’t even email me a new password.

Sugarbush app upgrade. Disappointed! Upgraded app is less functional than previous version. Too many trails and lifts to memorize where they are when looking at what is open.

Old site was better. Need more accurate web cams, more current content. Event calendar to be at a glance. WE MISS WIN!!!

A step backwards…. The new app has greatly reduced the amount of info shared (one temp vs three, one snow vs three). The cams load properly half the time for me. The snow report half the time reflects totally incorrect data. I am surprised to see a request for feedback as those in charge must know how sadly this app performs. Sorry for the direct feedback but after 16 pass holder years I expect better. What’s the phrase.. be better here?

Annoying. Tough to navigate and find what you want. Very annoying

Old vs new. There is absolutely no comparison with the old app. I know Alterra wants to promote its own brand, but this is a huge step backwards. For example, the old trail map showed open, groomed and snowmaking. It seems Alterra feels its skiers are not interested in this info. Safety also dovetails into this. Also, previously could see video feeds of lift in real time. Very basic for planning where on the mountain you should ski, especially during busy times. Please switch back!!

Glitchy downgrade from the previous version. I miss the old app! Running iPhone 12 and latest IOS and this app needs to be closed and reopened exactly twice every time in order to be able to see current conditions and Webcams. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, and it hasn’t fixed the issue. The app constantly asks to be signed into and to turn on notifications and location services.

Review. The app and website are not as good as they used to be. Conditions reports leave much to be desired. Do love Sugarbush though!

Missing info. Where is the snow information and overall conditions? I also don’t see that my runs from the past year which I used to see?

In progress, I hope.. Miss being able to see open/closed trails on a map. An a alphabetical list doesn’t help much. Some parts are improved from the Old app but needs more work.

Horrible. The old app was bad but the new app is terrible. Wrong info, prices, to many layers to find things. It's hard to find anything good about it.

A step backward. The new app is a step backward from the previous app. The front page doesn’t load half the time. The old app had a visual presentation of the open trails. Having given this app some time to get used to, it doesn’t present the information you want easily and simply. I give it an F+

Bring back features of old app. This new version of the app is terrible and doesn’t have even close to the amount of important information as the old app. The trail report should list which trails are groomed and open. We should be able to see mid mountain and peak temps, to browse events you have to go day by day instead of looking at a monthly calendar. There aren’t any Ellen events on the app. Completely unreliable after being formerly being my most used app in the winter.

Wow what a disappointment! Old app is much better. This app freezes frequently and has way too many menus to get to the functions (and many functions don’t seem to work?) so far I luck prefer the old one. Hoping the old version still works because I will use it instead of this.

Worst app on my phone. Worst app on my phone! Slow, unresponsive, not user friendly. Same with the website that they just changed. Old website way better and this app just isn’t up to snuff. Just disappointing all around from my home hill.

Sugarbush loyalist. Please bring back your old app! The new one isn’t user friendly and has loads of glitches.

Complete garbage. I don’t know how this is even rated above 3?! The old app was vastly better. Difficult to navigate, lack of information, buggy, and does not provide any helpful information. Also, if you look you see there are a lot of 5 star reviews, but if you filter “most favorable” the highest ratings are 2 stars. So a crummy app and they have folks going in a hitting 5 stars to make it look better, which is also disingenuous. Extremely frustrated and disappointed.

Terrible app. The old one also was optimized for tablets. Not this one. Big downgrade from last app. Can I give this zero stars?

Horrible app. The “new” Sugarbush app is horrible. Should go back to the previous much more informative and user friendly version. A classic example of changing something that is performing great for the sake of proving something new and different. Parent company should know better and fire the idiot who approved the new app.

Bring back map markings for closed trails. Please bring back the map markings for which trails are open and closed.

Useless. Bring back the old app. This one is terrible. I deleted it and will use the website. Very disappointing.

Map view?. I Hope that there will be an update that shows which trails are open on the map. The open lifts status is great but an alphabetical list of open trails is clearly a usability downgrade from the former app. Will continue to check for an update and change my review if one appears.

Meh. Agree with others. No comparison to the old app. It was much easier to check the trail status when the trails were separated by Lincoln Peak and Ellen. Now you have to scroll through a long list to see the trails you want. It just has a different feel to it. Kind of boring and … corporate?

Bad upgrade. The information on the app is incomplete, not up to date, and it operates sporadically. NOT a good upgrade from previous app. Completely unreliable.

The new sugarbush app is not accurate. The hours say 6 am- 2pm, when the hours are really 8am-4pm, it says there was 0” new snow in the stats when in your description it says you got 15”, the lifts that are open are not by mountain so it’s really confusing to see what’s actually running. I am logged in when using the app. The old app was easier to use and used to show the weather, and snow stats, and now when you log in you see an interactive map, and information on lodging and dining. Give the people the info they want! Accurate info on what’s spinning, and how’s the snow - all the other stuff not as important.

What a downgrade. This app is terrible, the old app wasn’t five star - but it worked.
