New Tactacam Connect App. I find this app to be a huge upgrade over the old. Much easier to use and the overall design and function is much improved and easy to follow. Love how fast you can add new cameras, connect to WiFi, and organize your footage. A+

HORRIBLE. No live preview, just a black screen. Nonstop connection errors which cause my camera to freeze and have to remove the battery to get it unfroze. Thought I’d try this app because the Tactacam Wifi app won’t delete videos. A person absolutely should not need two apps to control one camera but with Tactacam you do. smh

YEAH BABY!. Easy! Controls my POV like a CHAMP! Crystal clear image, like I expected anything less, lol never disappointed with any of my Tactacam POV’s!

Tactacam connect app (Jacob). I love this app a lot better then that tactacam wifi app. It don’t freeze everything is clear and you can do a lot more in this app vs tactacam wifi. Now off to share with family, friends, and social media!

Keeps disconnecting. I have the newest iPhone an updates along with the newest update for the 6.0. When I go into the settings and go back out to save the changes it erases the custom name I added and the 60hz never saves. When I’m controlling the camera with my phone if I push the button on the bottom right to go to video then back to camera an even zooming in and out it freezes up. When I push the button on the phone to record videos it looks like it’s working but when you hit the stop button nothing is saved. Only way it does work is if I have the setting on to record on start up. Video quality is great but… the app needs much improvement.

connection issues. Tactacam app will not connect to the tactacam solo extreme. It pops up the connecting screen but never connects.

Can’t Connect My $300 Camera. I bought the Tactacam 6.0 and when I try to connect the camera to this app, the little wheel that says “Connecting” spins and spins, but it never connects. Really hurts to know that I can’t customize any of the settings on a camera I just spent a hard day’s worth of work on.

Love the new app. Loaded all my 5.0 an 4.0 all in no time. Loving the new app an features.

Hit a homerun with this app. I love how you can select each camera type that you want to connect : I can’t wait to get my hands on the 6.0 and solo extreme on Aug 1St . I can’t wait to share this well done Tactacam

Keeps getting better!. This new app is better and somehow more user friendly than the previous version. It makes it so easy to choose which camera (5.0, solo, 6.0, etc.) to connect to and save the videos directly to your phone photo library. The original app was great, but they continue to improve not only the cameras, but the software and apps as well to make it more user friendly, more efficient, and more configurable. I had no complaints about the last app, but now with Connect, it’s addressing things I didn’t think about. Constantly improving and it keeps getting better!

App won’t connect. The App is very disappointing. The app will not connect to my solo Hunter or my 5.0. Bought them earlier this year before Turkey season only to discover they wouldn’t connect. Figured the app would be fixed by the time bow season came around. That is in 6 days, so highly doubtful.

6.0 issues. App will not connect phone to camera but the old Tactacam app does. Makes no sense.

LOVE. I love the upgrade to the Tactacam app! It’s so easy to use and shows step by step on how to set up cameras. I love it! Great, user friendly!

Best cameras out there !!!. Easy to down load the app connecting cameras are easy. Simply the best out there great video easy to use and you can use your phn or remote or even just hit the button. Tactacam goes above and beyond to take care of their customers and make sure they are satisfied with the cameras!!!

Well designed app. The app appears to be well designed. Making it easier to connect your Tactacam cameras to your phone and manage their settings. Great outdoor cameras with all functions adjustable through the app on your phone and start recording at the push of a button.

Poor service. False Advertising, the 6.0 doesn’t connect to 14 max plus . Company knows of this is for a year now! They do not care to fix or let people know of this issue! Would not have wasted my money if I known, they suggested me get a different phone , can’t when under a contract, also to take lap top with me hunting ! Unreal!!!

Tactacam solo xtreme. This app does not work at all. Called customer service and said they are working on the problem. They have no idea how long before the app will work. I can use the Tactacam wifi app only to watch the videos, nothing else.

Cam won’t load to app. Phone connects to camera but app won’t connect to cam. I tried several times and watched video.

Tactacam Connect APP. Disappointed to hear that there is a problem with the app connecting to the TACTACAM Ultra HD 6.0 Camera. And per their support team they are not sure when the update to app will be available but at least they are working on it.

Sleek, Simple, the Tactacam Design Feel. The old app had much to be desired. Seeing as i was a BIG Reveal Cam guy, i was hoping the old app would look and feel the same. It didn’t. So back to the drawing board they went and now….FINALLY, it’s like the Reveal and the Footage cams came together to form one great looking and easy to use App to produce the Tactacam Connect. It looks good, it’s easy, it reminds me of the consistency of the Tactacam Brand. I love this company and this app!!

GREAT APP!. Pros ~ Great app, and reliable which is a huge plus out in the field. The company is always working to improve on a great product which is something every good company should do. The app is user friendly, easy to connect with cameras and download videos or pictures. It makes it easy to share videos or photos with friends and family consistently. Cons ~ none.

Solo extreme will not connect. I tried everything on troubleshooting and still don't work. Latest iOS iPhone 14, Solo Extreme. old app still working but not at 100%

Black screen of death. Solo extreme connects to the app, the app can’t see the battery, and when you click control it looks up the Camaro and gives a black screen on the app and locks up the app. No way to control the camera or use it unless you use Tactacam WiFi app and don’t want to use all the functions of the camera. This shouldn’t be so hard to use

Nice updates! Easy to navigate. I really like the updates from the old app. Easy to navigate, easy to see the status of the camera and the media and storage on the camera. Awesome!

Great new app. I’ve had my Tactacam cameras for many years now. I have used many generations of cameras with the same software on my phone. With the newer cameras you could see some stalling. HOWEVER, you no longer have to worry about that with the Tactacam Connect app! It took me about 30 seconds within downloading that app too connect my camera. It was incredible to see the ease of use with the new app. You can change the settings with a touch of a button, change the camera name to find the correct one. Zooming in and out on objects is so much easier. It even has a display saying how much record time and battery life is left on your camera!!! This is going to change the entire game on Tactacam’s, in the best way possible!! Great work Tactacam, y’all crushed it!

Fantastic App for all my cameras.. This APP, along with the best POV cameras available and best service in the industry is what makes Tactacam NUMBER 1!!! This app is so easy to use, i can literally download and review footage from a hunt, from the cameras within my reach to my phone within a couple minutes after a shot. The ease of use makes it simple for this old man. Thank you Tactacam for always making things better and easier to use!

Truly amazing. Just when I thought this company couldn’t get any better they did. This app makes it so easy to see all my cameras, play videos back, and download them to my phone so I can send them to my buddies.

Trash this app. The app isn’t what it is to be first off! Yea I can connect to the cam but when I click control it shows a black screen that’s it I can’t do anything with it at all it’s a waste of my time

Tactacam going big!. This app is a lot easier to navigate compared to the original WiFi app. Tactacam listens to their customers! Adjust camera setting easily. This is just one more awesome improvement to the tactacm line up!

App won’t connect. The 6.0 won’t connect to the Connect app on my iOS 16.6. It appears the team still doesn’t have the app fixed. Hangs up at the ‘connecting’ step and won’t do anything. The camera does work for recording videos, but watching them on the tiny screen is almost impossible.
