Amazing app for putting visuals to your music!. I was very impressed by this app! Not only does it have great visuals, but it is laid out in a logical way so it's easy to master quickly.

Full buy. this music visualization truly is amazing but you really should offer a full purchase option even if the price is huge.i never will be a fan of subscriptions

Good but…. If a movable visualizer get too close to the edge of the screen, it just stops being movable. I’m having to delete and reinstall to reset the shapes to the center.

No Way for Me to Get My Song on the App. I’ve been at this for 2 hours— trying to get a song that I made on here. Ugh. This is so frustrating. I’m happy I didn’t subscribe.

Simply Awesome!. This is an essential party app if you want synchronized patterns following a beat. It is both fun and extremely easy to use, and breathtakingly beautiful!

Great app only…. This is a great app the I yo complaint I have is that I wish you could use longer songs, I have a 1 hour mix that I want to use but it the app will not let me actually play it wish I could, I would love to use when I go to family parties or parties in general.

Good VJ app but needs more features. This is a good app with some very cool visuals but it needs some kind of a sequencer to time it to music. I am trying to create a music video and some way to change visuals to the beat with no fades would be stellar. As it stands now, it’s not useful for someone like me.

Amazing. Do you think you could allow videos; stored on my iPad, to be used as backgrounds? The photo option is great but allowing videos; which could be synced to the tempo would trip this baby out. Fading back and forth from the background to the fx would be cool with filters like in the app “Fuzed”. Congratulations on a stellar effort! Amazing Visualizer!!. Marvin nd JR did an amazing job developing this app! Marvin definitely took it to another level! I can’t wait to see what else comes out of him! Excellent Visualizer. I appreciate Marvin Krueger for being able to preview his app before purchasing. As a composer I wanted a visualizer for my music and Vythm has all the features I have been looking for. There is a complimentary mode that you can try out, but I purchased all the modes once I saw the quality of Marvin's work. They are resonably priced! I also appreciate Marvin for his prompt replies to my questions and even implementing a suggestion I had for his Mac OS version of this outstanding app. This is a developer that should be supported!

Decent app but no one time purchase. Works great, functional with a good U.I. If you could air play this app to smart t.v’s, projectors, or other devices it would be more useful. If you could do this, you could create visuals live from your phone in real time to live music. I’ll rate 3 stars for functionality, -2 for not having a decent one time purchase.

Bug. It started today but whenever I input my music it glitches out and cuts my music randomly, I’m not sure what’s wrong, so if it could be fixed, It would be nice. But besides that, I love your app.

Not bad. So far I like it. It could be a little bit more user friendly, bigger buttons for instance. But other than that, I like it.

I mean... an effort was made. I think this was developed with good intentions, and it's definitely not bad for someone's first or second app they built. I look forward to seeing the intricacies he'll come up with after 10-20 years of experience. Yet to see any product remotely come close to G-Force Platinum... but, that's a passion project.

Please fix this. I have had the app for months and I really love it. I have been purchasing the packs separately because I don’t want another subscription and in the recent updates you took the option to purchase separate effects away and made it to where we can only buy a subscription. please switch it back I already own like 9 of them and it’s a big bummer I now have to pay monthly or yearly just to get the other ones I don’t own yet. Still an amazing app. It’s the best visualizer I have found in the App Store and I have checked out a ton. Keep up the good work and hopefully we get that purchase option back

LOVE it!. Beautiful visualizer for our iTunes music! Colors and shapes whirl and pop in time with music. IAP's for styles are definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

This App has changed my life!. First of all I want to say that Marvin has been an awesome person to work with and he has been amazing at helping to troubleshoot any challenges. Thank you so much! I just started making my own music in this past year and Vythm has been an integral part of making this a reality! I use Vythm on my IPad and IPhone. It is fun when it vibrates on your phone. I love being able to use AirPlay to stream Vythm to the TV and having dance parties for my kids. I really enjoy all of the features and parameters that can be changed and even though I’ve been using it for several months I am always finding new ways to create and make the music come alive! Vythm is the closest thing to having Synthesthesia for me and it gives a visual dimension to the music I make that actually makes the music better. This app has really been therapy for me and has made a huge difference in my mental health. It’s easy enough for beginners to have fun with and I appreciate the tutorials and other facets such as being able to incorporate your own pictures and video and the updates just keep getting better! Keep up the great work and thank you to anyone and everyone who has had a hand in developing this sweet app!

Gorgeous visuals with some bad choices for users. I was excited to find this visualizer with such great performance and a video background, but ultimately am disappointed by some upsell choices by developer which make it undesirable. The app includes a “random” feature which cycles through FX and colors and is just what I was looking for, but as it cycles, it strangely includes settings that you haven’t purchased yet. These settings are at a lower resolution and labeled as PREVIEW so it really ruins the flow of the visuals. This dark pattern is a way to force you into buying more settings, and the developer should instead have a toggle that skips unpurchased settings in the random loop. Even if you purchase ALL the settings, the app still shows advertisements for the developer’s other apps, and again ruins the flow of the visuals. It’s almost like the developer doesn’t want you to enjoy all the hard work they’ve done. It’s a shame the developer has made these choices because the visuals are awesome. Hopefully they have enough success to consider fixing these issues.

Really cool, excellent support. I ran this on OSX, and it's got the vibe of an iOS app. With that said, it ran really well, performance was excellent, and the video tutorials are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - like I said, it feels like an iOS app and that makes it a little bit of a fish-out-of-water on OSX. Do NOT let that make you think this app doesn't absolutely rock - it is fantastic, highly customisable, generates really cool imagery based on the audio. I couldn't ask for more, it does EXACTLY what I wanted it to and what it says on the tin.

It’s cheap and easy. Title says it all. No subscription. You pay 5 bucks or whatever and you have an amazing music visualizer. Do it.

Nostalgic. Awesome, just like the music player on my pc in the early 2k w/ more features obviously. I play songs on here for my daughter and she loves the visuals.

Music selection. By allowing to connect to Apple Music, does not have a huge selection of my music… 100/3,000 Why can’t I add more… great visuals!

Video of 2013 song on Armor of God. I love the crafting of this software. I was able to bring in a song I sang in 2013, add the audio waveform and show that with the (Starwars) lyrics flying over the Audio movement. Love your Visualizer!!! Great visuals and customization. I do not normally leave reviews on apps I download, but I thought this one deserves it. I have very much enjoyed this app and its awesome customization. This is one of the few apps that i know of that have such an in depth customization for free without purchasing anything. Recently I had an issue with audio going to my Bluetooth speakers being very grainy and slow, reached out to Marvin and got everything sorted out. He was very quick to respond and address the issue for me. Can’t say it enough, this app is great!

Fantastic Visualizer. I have been a fan of audio visulizers since the original Geiss screensaver/Winamp plugin. This is by far the best one that I've come across since Milkdrop. Certainly the best one on iOS or MacOS. There are a ton of options available for customization. This would be a great tool to use in an audio/visual show.

Best Visualizer out there!!! (Purchase full version?). Is there anyway you can add an option to purchase all features for lifetime without a monthly subscription or buying each one individually? Thanks in advance!

Clumsy UI, possibly broken?. This app was great but something weird is happening with the UI. The playback (pause/stop) disappeared from the bottom of the screen. Even when you enable the “Keep Player” option in the menu, the buttons are unresponsive, and the slider for the timeline is also unresponsive.

This app is a piece of crap. It took over my Mac in a way I've never seen anything do in my life. Covered the whole screen with no way out. Had to get on my phone to fine a way to shut down my computer. It would then flash to the shutdown screen for .5 seconds and then revert to this app. Don't know what was going on, but it certainly did NOT play well with my computer.

I wanted to like it ….. …and then it started crashing. Can’t even get past the title screen. I’m on an ipad 2018. It worked fine when I first opened it. Made a video recorded and loved it. Came back to buy the iaps and now It’s constantly crashing. I want to like it….but I can’t.

Nice program!. This is a wonderful program. There are a few things tho… On my iPad Pro the external audio in ceases to work when I plug in an HDMI adapter. Midi control works great although I cannot find a way to get it out of Omni mode. Lastly if using a sequencer playing sounds and midi opening this app shuts off the audio, but the midi keeps playing. Lastly can we also choose which algorithm to play with midi? I really want to work with this app live but not quite yet it seems.

Fantastic way to create art.. My name is Ryan in a 27 year old man who loves to find new ways to create things. This has been an out standing way to create a psychedelic visual to my music.

Great for sharing original music!. I use this for creating psychedelic videos to go with my original music and it is so easy and versatile to use. So many parameters and options, along with the ability to set effects to the beat makes it super customizable. I’ve bought a few in-app purchases and was not disappointed with the add on packs. Works great on both iOS and MacOS. I wish the in app purchases were cross platform, but I don’t mind having one on my phone and a different one on the Mac. I won’t be double-buying them, but I do think the packs are a reasonable price considering the work this developer puts into the app. He even has his own Discord for support.

Great app!. I think the best iOS music visualizer I’ve used so far, love the camera background that is impacted by the effects, tons of creative potential there. A couple things that I think would be cool to add since it seems the dev is listening: Would love an option for the random sync that was in numbers of beats instead of seconds, or maybe just number of LFO cycles, could make it simple to set up more in sync transitions. Sort of related would be a tap tempo mode, where the LFO tempo could be controlled in real time by tapping the screen. Put both together and I could run my whole video rig from my iPhone while I’m playing music. Anyway, super cool app already! Thanks for all the work that’s gone into it!

No Music. I love this app but I don’t no why it won’t let me play or upload music from my ITunes account.

Great app, amazing developer!!. It’s an amazing app I use it for all my beats and really enjoy the different options. There are however a few things that could make this a lot better. It would be nice if there were an option to turn off auto repeat. It’s very difficult to stop the music right at the moment the track ends and because of this it requires trimming the video before I can upload. If this is a feature you can implement I’d be eternally grateful. This last one is just a personal bummer for me. I can never use the really cool triangle background from the space category. (The big semi transparent triangle.) both options only allow me to use the small triangles that flow out in all directions. This is probably due to a simple issue with my phone not being able to differentiate between the two. Keep up the good work and thanks for Vythm!! Edit: The storage issue was fixed so I removed that from the review. I’ll also add that this is a pretty amazing developer who actually cares about the people using the product and making it more useful to them. Rarely do I see developers engage this much with people leaving reviews and then actually implement suggested changes. Thanks MK

One of the best music visualzer apps around. Has a wide range of settings available to modify the existing visualizations. Love that it has both mic and music library support. Fantastic support if needed.

A hidden treasure. Pros Stunning. Smmmokin'. Brilliant. Actually records personally loaded audio in movie recording. Cons Can't enter a name in the field to initiate a saved preset ... yet? Need to rename settings to less technical (more childish) adverbs: fluffy, glowy, pixelly, kaleidoscopy; dreamy, sparky ... pet dog names. Too many effect choices and most are too angly (another dog name) wheras Milkdrop (Geiss) needs to be more prominent. It gets lost in the mix and not being able to save the setting (yet) is a bummer. All settings that centre the effects to the middle with (for example) a single colour background should be in one place so people can make videos for bluescreen overlays or for placing behind objects in animations in Keynote/Powerpoint etc. Creating your own static gradient background. Maybe it's there but haven't figured it out yet.

Toodlidge. I thought this was a good app for 3 seconds then the app(s) wouldn’t play my iTunes playlists and I say apps because all the apps like this one are the ripoff’s, artist it’s in the name! Petey boy wrecked my music

Inexpensive VJ/Visualizer for iOS. This works really well on my iPad Pro M1, even dialed up to the highest output settings. It tends to crash randomly on my Macbook Pro M1 however, although it's not technically rated for that OS. I'd gladly pay for the entire package of modular effects if it had full Mac OS support and higher resolution output! Using it for visual fx with original music on YouTube.

Nice app but issue with saved videos. Cool app, but videos it records play at a slower rate after 10 seconds or so.

Vythm. Nice software. I can see myself using it to produce YouTube vids. One big drawback though ... the app opens full screen and there is no way to exit the program except via the power button. Bummer!

Great for a DJ livestream. I recently started using this with my green screen setup for my DJ streams. I run this on my DJ computer with the audio directly from the DJ software. I run the feed from Vythm over NDI to my streaming machine and send it with my cameras and other stuff overtop. Its so easy to use and has great looking visualizations. Would recomend trying.

Great app. I love the app. I Use it to cast effects to my TV while listening to Spotify on my phone. One weird issue, when I streaming audio to wireless speaker, the sound level is lower than supposed to be.

absolutely wonderful: versatile and easy to learn and use. I use Vythm to create music sensitive videos of my music, both original piano and electronic compositions and playing piano covers. It allows me to reflect the content and emotion of the pieces I’m creating videos for. It’s incredibly versatile in the offerings of visualizations to use and customize. You have the ability to practice what visualizations you want to use because the app is instantaneously responsive to touch selections. I have waited years for something like this to come along. It has enabled me to finally post my own music on my YouTube channel.

crashes. Crashes everytime I try to load a wav file. this app appears to be more work than it is worth.
