Fun game spoiled by constant ads. I sat down with a stopwatch today while playing this game, and discovered that a random ad plays once every minute and thirty seconds. These ads take about twenty seconds to skip the two screens necessary to get back to the game, which means that even if you ignore the constant prompts to play an ad to triple your offline earnings, double your crane speed, obtain missing materials, spin the wheel, etc, you’ll still be spending almost 20% of the time this game is open watching an ad. It’s really a shame, because the cycle of upgrade equipment/scrap cars/earn money is extremely satisfying, but the actual experience of playing this game is so thoroughly frustrating due to constant ads that I’ll be deleting the app. If it weren’t for this problem, I would be happy to choose to watch ads for tangible benefits in the game, in fact would be very likely to do so, except for the fact that as soon as that ad is done, another is going to play right behind it for nothing. The ad strategy of this game is ridiculous, inexcusable, and predatory, and exposes the fact that this developer has fallen under the same spell as nearly every other mobile app developer - that of raking in all the short-term profits of excessive ads they force on their customers until the customer gets fed up and deletes the game instead of attempting to create a fun and rewarding experience for their players. Shame on them.

Glitching. It’s a nice concept just like the other game idle Army. I run into an issue when after you start an ad it either plays for a few seconds then stop and then kicks you out or the game automatically kicks you out and you lose all of your progress from when you first log in. It’s very frustrating to have to restart from a previous position and lose all momentum. Hopefully it gets fixed but I’m not so sure since it happens in Idle Army exactly the same way. This should be enough information without having to email you more details.

So many ads. Not a bad game play experience, but ads ruin it. Most games you can play without many, but there simply isn’t a way around it here. Even if you ignore the power ups and just play, every so often the game plays you one.

Great Indy game but could use some work. The game is good to pass time but you’ll only make it if you watch ads. I play this at work when the store is empty so it can make for a good pass time but it’s difficult to play straight thru because of the ads. More ads you watch the more money you make

Ads began popping up for no reason. The only reason I put 2 stars instead of one is bc it is a great concept. Two slow too upgrade. And the ads are good if I want to get more cash or unlock special features. But the ads popping up for no reason, I’ll pass. Deleting the app bc the ads make it unplayable

Update. I just updated this game and now it freezes anyways around that I really like this game but when it freezes up it’s irritating

Fun. I personally really like the game it is just that I wish it was more engaging i played for a solid 2-3 weeks but it just got a bit dry after it is still a great game however.

Learning curve for sure. As a mechanic with 45+ years experience, I was immediately interested in this game. Been playing about a week now, and still trying to figure out a few things like why will it say I have no product of a certain item to sell when I can see them in my warehouse and same for raw materials to build them when I can see them in storage. Not super intuitive but that’s been PART of the fun for me. Pun intended. I’ll try to update this in a month or so if i can figure that out. Haven’t really left many reviews before but thought this game deserved a shot.

Went down. The game started out great and was having fun, but since the last update that happened yesterday, now the game keeps freezing up and kicking me out while trying to craft parts. If it gets fixed and possibly add unlockable skins for equipment then I will give 5 stars

Some issues. It’s a great game however I’m running into a lot of issues. Game crashes after watching an ad for a specific vehicle I need and I have no idea how I could possibly upgrade my race car when it’s fully upgraded. Having a vehicle come in that has rubber on it is like one in a million.

Perfection. I don’t write reviews on games I’ve been gaming since the iPod 3 and I have to make an exception for this game . This game is just a masterpiece and I appreciate and admire the dedication that went into this game . This is a genuine fun addicting free game reminds me of the old days of iOS thank you for the nostalgia trip . If you haven’t tried this game I give you my word that it’s a beauty much love to everyone who made this game possible be safe everyone .

Cannot reopen the game. It’s been stuck at the beginning after an update with all of my current game setting and will not go past the beginning scene. Love this game and I’d like to continue playing!!!!

Great but issues. Whenever I try to make a piston or bumper the 2 minutes will go by and just restart without giving me a bumper or piston. Happens many times and ruins the game. I love it other than that. Please fix

Game unresponsive during tutorial. After I remove the rubber from my guest vehicle during the tutorial, the game becomes completely unresponsive. It's not frozen, it just doesn't respond to any screen taps. I've closed the game and restarted it, and when it gets to the same point, the same thing happens. Even a reboot of my iPad doesn't help.

WORST TYCOON EVERRR!!!!!. This game was nothing but torture and Boredom this game took me 2 hours just do very simple upgrades now they suggest a faster way but if you do choose to do the faster way it’s by watching 40 million ads just to get enough money from “investors” to do an upgrade and even with the other upgrades like crane speed, worker speed, 2x delivery and etc. you still have to watch a video for each and it’s not worth it only because it literally gives you basically nothing as well as getting parts to sell it takes 67k just to buy a new blueprint for a build and it would take you a good 2 hours just to get it. I was very disappointed with this game I do not recommend this game to anyone ever maybe if they helped out a little more and lowered pricing it might just be a little better but until then I’ll stick with my decision in never playing this again

Fun to chill out with. This is pretty fun to just kick back and waste some time with. Be prepared to watch a lot of commercials at the beginning if you want to earn in game cash to get you going.

Shady app.. It is a fun game and very addicting, but it’s based off of spend money, or consistently watch ads to bring in Revenue, it could be such an amazing app and a good selling game if it was realistic and based off of the consumers actual enjoyment. Example, you have to upgrade how much your scrap and what not is worth. The part that’s crazy is to upgrade your worth you spend thousands of thousands just to make it 100$ more valuable each time..

It’s ight but…. I finished the game and there’s nothing left to do like the game is more boring now what happened to the mini games with the cars idk but I paid for sum on here for nothing cause it’s nothing left to do

Ads. The pop up ads are slowly killing this game. You already have to watch ads to make any kind of money and then you throw pop ups on top of it.

Crashes. The ads are causing the game to crash. Really annoying- please fix this bug.

Lean economic management. Ads pay for the game, so they pop p as opportunities for in game bonuses. But there is idle bonuses for returning. Plus the whole scrap station growth and crafting is fun.

Solid 4. Needs new update, add another crusher and crane, and everything takes steel but you hardly ever get it! And auto parts has said coming soon for a year?? Keep this game alive!

Short Orders. I feel like it would be best if the orders were more associated with what capabilities you have unlocked. That or just keep declining orders that you would not be able to fill unless you are much further in the game or pay to play (which is understandable but, should not be forced onto the player by giving them no other option)

Bumps in the road. I liked this game for a long time, but the more updates that come have increased the ads and frequency between them. Also I now can’t pass the tutorial that’s been added because the tutorial needs rubber, but my cars all have iron and plastic. I’ve reset like 20 times trying to get a car with rubber, with no luck so the tutorial just stops and I can’t pass to play my game. It’s a shame, at one point I would have paid for it, but now? I wouldnt even recommend playing this free game

Was Fun. Game was fun to sit and manage and try to unlock everything. And then you went in and put more ads in that now stop you in the middle of the game. So I deleted it. Thought it was cool to only have to watch ads when you wanted certain cars or the gifts but now you’ve ruined it for me.

Wow.. i am in love with this game. scrapyard tycoon is my whole life. or atleast it was. for a whole day. until… it happened. i was heartbroken. i opened my scrapyard tycoon gaming app and discovered that my progress. had been. reset.. i was almost back to the beginning of the game and i was a decent chunk in. the toll it took on my life was disastrous. i opened scrapyard tycoon because i was incredibly depressed and knew it would fix it. but it didn’t. i saw what happened and immediately began screaming “it’s not a good day, it’s not a good day.” i think this is due to the fact that the developers only update once every few months… please… i beg of you, pay more attention to this masterpiece. Thank you, pissbabeie.

Very fun. I’m really enjoying this game. I didn’t think I would, but I ended up paying for the ads free version. The developers are very generous and I was happy to support them

Fun but lot of pop ups. This game is fun, you build up a mechanic, salvage yard simulation. I wish all these annoying pop ups stop as they are absurd. Why don’t you update game with a menu where you pull down to do a job rather than pop up on the screen. Furthermore ads are annoying. The investor car is annoying unless you purchase $6.99 to remove ads then no more pop ups. Please add on your update to race more cars as I’m not able to race, I’m the race king. I got the fastest car and it’s already upgraded. Why annoy the player to upgrade it but nothing to upgrade. Also make your ads shorter in time length, many other games ads are 5 seconds but yours are 30-45 seconds which is annoying and time consuming. It’s no reason to keep annoying people with ads and pop ups on the screen. I got my crane to 125% speed, my crusher at 10,500$ per car. My car delivery at 25 seconds, it’s fun but these pop ups on the screen is very annoying!

Boring after a while. This game is fun but, after you have unlocked everything and upgraded everything to max, there is no where else to go. They need to either update and open some of the “coming soon’ buildings or allow things to be upgraded like more storage.

Junky play. Should be a zero star. While I like the concept the game does not allow you to make your own decisions to suffer the benefits or tragedy of your decisions. Example pick a process, the game gives you two choices such as a standard reward or a super duper reward IF you watch a 30 second advert. It you go with the standard reward….you watch a 30 second advertisement. I have no issue of watching SOME ads, and I will even occasionally click on one…(that how I came to this game) but the ads need to be reasonably spaced. I played 3 minutes of the game, I watched 7 minutes of advertisement. NO THANK YOU.

Enjoyable Game. I like this game a lot, I see it taking up a lot of my free time in a good way. I like to check back and see how things are going after a few hours and make sure I keep my supply chain running smoothly. I think I have gotten close to the end of growth though, it seems like I’ve beaten all the drag racers and I wish there were more. I also am curious as to what is coming soon at the store next door. I hope the developers release an update soon with some type of expansion.

Unplayable amount of ads. This is a pretty fun game, scratch that, really fun. The only thing holding this game back is that after the first day there’s a huge uptick in ads. At the current moment I’m experiencing an ad every other action in game. If the ads continue like this I can’t see myself playing this game even though I think it’s really good under the ads.

Shame lost a player. I’ve been playing for two weeks having a blast on downtime, today I log in and now ads are playing automatically. It’s a shame you just made me delete the game. To many ads. Started out great and only had a ad every so often. After playing for about a week and getting a little ways into it, I now have ads popping up about every 2 minutes that I’m playing. Had 2 within a minute and a half of each other. In order to continue playing, you have to watch the whole 30 second to 1:30 ad. Getting really annoying and considering deleting because of it. They give you a option for no ads but want you to pay for it.

Great game, but…. When the prompt appears telling you you can repair cars, there’s no there there. Just an empty grass lawn. Also, the two piles of cars next to the crane do not clear as I unlock stations and other things.

Enjoying it until now.. I was actually enjoying the game! I had unlocked almost all the stations and I liked it a lot. I used to watch the ads to get perks and that was fine, I wanted to watch the ads. Now I am receiving unwanted ads that I have to watch to continue playing. That killed the game for me. Leaving this review and uninstalling the game. It was good while it lasted.

Needs changes but enjoyed as a concept. The game is fun and all but I just have two major issues. Too many forced ads and prompts for ads on the screen and the progression is painfully slow. Took several hours of sitting on the game to unlock only the third level of disassembly with no real benefit to progressing to the next tier. Maybe tweak the income system or make ads actually worth it to watch. Otherwise I like the concept of the game it just needs changes

AWESOME. Listen up if your broke this is not the game for you. The system is perfect just pay 6.99 to get rid of ads and speed times and this easily becomes a good time waster while at work.

Lost all inventory. The game is slow to progress but is entertaining to play. Was getting a good feel for it and just logged back on after the latest update and found out I had lost all items in each of my inventories. Lots of work and time went into filling them and have to admit. I’m pretty disappointed with the game now.

Too high of a price. The game is okay to play through with it just that I get the earning coins from the game play it doesn’t give me much is their a way of doing a upgrade earning coin a lot more at least and to build up a new shop it costs sooo much it took so long to play and getting the coins

Ads. I played this game for about two weeks and I was addicted to it and loved it even watching the adds to progress further often. This is genuinely a good game. This is the first mobile game I have wver truly liked. It’s got a very relaxing soundtrack and all you do is manage a scrapyard. It’s incredibly soothing. This game is definitely worth the mone.

Great little games.. Simple to learn and you don’t need to pay to enjoy the game.

Ad sim, destroys battery. Even though this game is trying to do something different which I appreciate...it’s not idle at all. You have to manage absolutely everything. It drains your battery FAST, and if you aren’t ready to watch ads every few seconds then don’t bother because progression is so slow that you’ll never get anywhere.

Graphics settings. I think implementing a graphics setting where you can change the quality of the textures would be a good idea. As the game being fun and all can take time to progress meaning it’ll burn through a decent bit of battery, and heat up your device to some degree. Also I think implementing a potential second option for scrapping the cars after they’ve been salvaged would be interesting. Like maybe auctioning off the shell of the vehicle to buyers, could be interesting.

Another game that is laden with ads. I started playing as it seemed like a fun game and a good way to pass time but the way you have to watch a 30 second ad every time you want to do something in the game all your doing is passing time watching ads. Deleting the game as it is a waste of time and a big disappointment, money hungry developers such as this one are spoiling game entertainment.

I choose 4 because…. The cars getting crushed are like grey and Random and when it gets crushed it will be only a green square so I would like the crushed square to be the same colour as the car

Scrap Yard. The Budget is tight so you need to stick to your targets & not over capitalise. Once you get the first couple of hurdles out the way it becomes a really cool production wrecking/metal facility. As long as you don’t have a silly billy leading hand with burger buns for brains you should be able to be a safe & confident worker with zero harm & workplace bullying. At days end you can have a nice cool beverage from the scrap yard fridge & enjoy being one with nature shredding & bailing the steel.

Bug and glitches intentionally. I had fun at first then quickly realizes that that game bugs and glitches and steal your material/parts and short changes you. Very frustrating

Advertising tycoon. There’s not really a challenge to the game. As you get more money you can expand your productivity and stuff in the scrapyard, but it’s not like you have any challenges to overcome. The only challenges are the ads. Also, it’s SATURATED with sketchy ads. At first you have to click them to see them, but on the third or fourth day, they just randomly start popping up.

Alright. You pretty much can’t play this game without paying to get rid of the ads. $10 CAD it cost me. Worth it? Enh. After you remove the ads you can effectively beat the game in a day or two. I had fun while it lasted though.

Restore. How do I restore the cars every time I click on the restore it’s not letting me do it so therefore I have to crush the car

Good game , but.... I think this game is great to play , with plenty of features and game play as it advances , but when you have an advertisement for every other action that you take, it gets tedious and not worth the time just to try and play. Disappointing.

Cars just go to the scrapper. Unlocked second circle. When I put a car on it, or the original one, the just get picked up by the forklift and goes to the scrapper, even if I chose to remove the parts. This needs to get fixed.

Car collection. I really love this game! The update is a great addition, but I completed all the cars except the maroon 1988 one. That one will not populate in the car collection. Please fix this bug!

Simple in a good way. Absolutely no money needed to be spent to just mindlessly play. With no competition involved there’s no pay to win. And no excessive payed dlc.

Latest update includes forced ads. Downloaded the game a week ago. Had lots of fun. No forced ads. Got new update and now I get a 30 second ad every other car I move. Not sure why devs decided to ruin the game with constant forced ads.

Guys get stuck. Enjoyed for about 20min. Now the workers get stuck all the time. Have to close and restart. Then watch the ads to get anything done. If they fix, might be worth playing.

Game freezes up. After reloading the game my progress will have to be lost because the game freezes up and you have no choice but to restart it. It used to be fun when it worked.

One issue. It’s not allowing me to purchase another crafting queue slot, making my orders pile up but other than that, it’s pretty seamless so far.

Can’t really play. Game has to many adds to enjoy

Ads. Was great…I could watch an ad to do stuff…now, four or five days in, I’m getting force played ads that I can’t friggin skip….I’m watching ads more than I’m playing the game…

Great game but one recommendation. Great game but it would be nice to be able to que up the crane

Scrap Yard. Just like many others. Great game with way too many adds.

Glitch. I cannot upgrade the crafted materials warehouse.

Ads on ads. You can’t play this game without watching ads for money, if you don’t watch them it will take hours just to upgrade one thing

Where is the idle?. I have to tell the game to recycle parts and craft this and that. The only “idle” I can tell is you get money when offline, but if you leave the game open nothing is happening. Maybe it’s still too early, but so far not a game I’d call ‘idle’.

It’s fun. You should make it so you can buy the cars with money in the magnifying glass in the bottom right.

Cut down on the ads!!. Too many ads!!!!!!

Too many ads. It would’ve been a four star for me but it has way too many ads.

To many. Having to watch to many commercials even when not clicked on to gain extra items. You don’t click on it and it still plays and you get nothing.

I’m so frustrated with this game and it’s literally just ONE thing. I am done playing this game until this is explained to me or fixed. I noticed that I have over 30 glass in my inventory and I saved up 200k to open the glass removal and it says I have no glass. What the heck

Good game, terrible customer support. I sent a message to customer support two weeks ago with a couple questions and never got a response.

Ok game. The game is ok and seamless except that i keep upgrading and unlocking new stuff but the only thing selling in the shop are the tires so what is the point of unlocking new stuff in the yard??

Why the Change?. There are way to many adds now. I watched adds to level up but now they pop up every few moves. I’m going to delete this game if it doesn’t change

Ok game.. This is an ok game. It doesn’t force ads on you. It does require ad to progress. Cost to up grade is to force ad watching or spending money.

Ok. Just downloaded today very glitchy tried to click car and went to grass please fix immediately thank you.

Workshops Freeze. Really enjoyed this game at first, but now the workshops keep freezing when I am crafting items. The times will hit 0 and then automatically restart that same item over and over without putting it into my inventory. Super frustrating.

5 star potential. Would be a 5 star but the adds bog it way down and sometimes even crash and rollbacks

Sneak ads on you. You get far enough into the game to really get invested in it without any ads at all. And then the ads pop up randomly and often and I delete games with ads like that. Bye

Little buggy and grindybut fun. Quite a few bugs and feels too grindy takes too long to progress but fun nonetheless
