Disappointing. * games are way too short * on line players are likely bots * coin based system to play * win coins by playing solitaire (or money) * Doesn’t even follow the rules of the original I grew up playing Skip-Bo and I was expecting a similar experience. The official Skip-Bo games doesn’t follow the card games rules. Each player starts off with 5 cards in their stockpile on-line. Not 30. Then you can graduate to “high stakes” with 10 cards. It might change after that I don’t know as I’ve decided to uninstall the game. Also, the player with the lowest card on their stockpile game goes first, including a Skip-Bo card; not like the card game where highest card goes first and Skip-Bo cards doesn’t count for determining who goes first. The on-line players are likely bots. They play consistently fast for one thing. I’ve played card games on-line a plenty. No one moves that fast and that consistently. Then there are the coins. You need coins to play the game. The 5 card on line game cost you 1,000 coins with equal amount won. The night stakes I believe is double and that will cost you 2,000. How do you get coins? By playing Skip-Bo solitaire like games. That is where you automatically lose 2 stars from the review. If I wanted to play solitaire I’d download a solitaire game. I don’t mind the advertisements. The gameplay isn’t fun.

Fun but sometimes not easy. So this one is fun to me but is not without flaw. The online costs 2000 coins but so does a level. You get coins for every one level an hour which I think should be more frequent. The levels sometimes don’t ever give you the cards you need if you save them in the correct order to use them. It’s unpredictable of course but the coin set up can make levels take days sometimes. I do feel though because of the kind of the type of game this is, it is to be expected the way the win/lose is set up. I feel it’s consistent for the most part in how it’s set up but you will get stuck on levels for days sometimes. The coin thing is meant to be a money grab, no doubt about that one, but if you can collect the coins almost every hour and save them you can do a few rounds at once. The little mini games it does when you play the levels is fun too. You don’t have to beat the levels to play them. Like the food truck one, you didn’t have to beat the levels to get ingredients. Just had to collect a certain number of bags if I remember correctly. You can be stuck on one level for 5 days and still advance in the mini game. It gets frustrating at times but, unless you spend money, you are forced to take long breaks so you don’t really get too frustrated.

Nostalgia. I am almost 30 years old now, and when I was younger my Grandma and I used to play this game all the time. This game is near and dear to me and I am happy to have this game available to me to play on my phone. It even encouraged me to buy the actual card game again and taught my husband how to play it and it’s been really nice. To be honest because I miss my Grandma so much I didn’t want to download this, but I’m glad I did. With any app I feel like some things should be changed, playing offline you should still be able to earn some gold(money in the game) and be able to challenge friends. If Grandma was still around it’d be fun to have taught her how to do this so I can play her from home. (If this is a setting I just haven’t discovered it yet.)

Coins. Literally love this game except 1 thing- why do you drain these coins from us? I’ve seen multiple reviews on here saying the same thing, yet your responses (from a year+ ago) all day you’re “working on improving the game. Thanks for the helpful feedback” phase 10 is more fair and it’s by the same company so what is up with this? The issue here is you’re not listening to the people playing this game. I will ply for maybe 5-6 minutes before running out of coin to do anything productive in this game. I then proceed to close the app, forget about the free coins every hour (cause you lost them all and you HAVE to open the app to click a button, just reward them over time? It’s dumb.) and then the cycle repeats. I paid the money to go ad free and figured that would be helpful to the success in game/adventure mode- I was wrong. Don’t waste the money, cause all they want is for you to pay more for coins/lives that should be free to begin with. Like using a set amount of lives etc. Fix it already.

Need to adjust to be like Skip-Bo Pro. Need to make this game like the old Skip-Bo Pro. I had millions of points in that game, and never had to use up my points to continue playing. Crazy that you need so many points to play the game. Also, we could have 20-30 cards in our pile to play the game. Much more like the real Skip-Bo game. Someone needs to look back at how Skip-Bo Pro worked. I think I truly had the most points on that game. I do like the backgrounds on the new game. However, the background changed at first, which was fun. Then it just stayed the same. Please take away the need to buy points. What is that about?? You should have an easy way to earn points… like winning, or watching an ad, if needed. Please look at the Skip Solitaire App. You can play all you want without needing to buy points. They just have tiny adds at the bottom. You also can choose your number of cards in your stack- up to 30 points. Will continue to play that game until your playing style changes. Thank you

Great game. I absolutely love this game. This game has been our family game for over 20 years, at every family function we have and also at home. All three of my kids were raised playing this game and still play it and now the grandkids are learning. Playing this app brings back so many fun memories of family functions. The only thing I wish was different was the amount of coins it takes to play actual people. I prefer playing actual people across the world than playing the computer. I play it so much I have noticed a pattern of who wins with the computer players. When you play actual players for me it’s more fun so that I don’t know why it’s so many coins to play live games. I totally recommend playing this game it’s alot of fun

Like it but I purchased no ads and am getting them. I love skip Bo but I paid for no ads. For months I have not gotten one but lately it’s tried to make me watch an ad before starting a round. I paid for no ads for that reason so I’m not sure why it’s trying to make me watch an ad before starting. Edited because I can’t find a way to contact skip Bo from app settings as told to do. I wish I could post a photo of what i mean but I will play a round then the next round it is trying to force me to watch an ad before starting the next round. I have to close out of the app completely for it to go away. Just for it to try to force me to watch an ad the next game. It’s annoying when I paid for no ads and they still try to force ads. Edited to reply because I couldn’t find where I was able to contact skip Bo through game settings like I was told. I can play a round then the next one the start button will be blue and try to force me to watch an ad and I have to completely exit and refresh the app just to play a round without watching an ad then the next round the same thing. It’s aggravating that I spent money on this app TO GET NO ADS then be forced to watch them. I know there is an option whether to watch for an extra skip Bo card but there’s not an option when trying to start another round.

Really unhappy with the changes.. I have been playing Skip-Bo for well over a year and absolutely love it! It’s my go to game to just lose myself in something and forget about my day to day stuff. Recently, the app does not let me do what I want! If there’s a game or special event going on, I cannot get past that to play online with friends. That stupid little hand at the bottom keeps prompting me to open a game I do not want to play. I have also had problems with the screen freezing, and none of the other choices work. Today I deleted the app completely, and then reinstalled it to see if that would help. Now it’s way worse! I can’t seem to get out of a tutorial! I played several games to get past the newbie level, even though it asked me if I had played before, and I chose yes. So now when I’m thinking what to do. That stupid little hand comes up and is trying to tell me what to do. sorry but I am done with Skip-Bo

All about taking your money and wasting it. -3 stars for me. Don’t play. So not fun. Total money grab and completely rigged. Honestly best bet is to download delete download delete everytime you run out of coins which will probably be after 5 games. Doesn’t even matter if you’re good at the game, it makes sure you only win every 5-6 games and only gives you 3000 coins to start and 1000 a day. Games of 5 are 1000 and typically give someone’s deck a skip,2,3,6,8 in that order so they win within a round if not the fist round. High stakes are 2000 to play but I’ve yet to win one. Everytime I get down to 1 card, it gives me the exact opposite of the cards I need to win the game or like 3 of the same card and the other 2 cards are cards I already have In my discard piles. Basically makes sure you don’t ever win or get enough money to keep playing… then the kicker is that the only way to get more coin is to buy it but you’ll spend them in 5 minutes on 2 games maybeeeee 3 if you get lucky. And the offline version is so unfun it’s not even worth play. Other reviews say the same thing so surprised on how it has 4 stars.

You Screwed The app with the last update. Idk what you all decided to do, but the app was tolerable until today. I use to get 2000+ every couple of hours and would be able to play 2-3 games in story mode. I pull the app up today, suddenly each game in story mode cost 1450 coins, which is fine, until you only give me 1500 coins. So what use to be 2-3 games, which if I’m doing well can become 4-5 games, I suddenly get 1 game and only 1 game. Even if I don’t do well in that one game, I don’t have enough for a second game. Why would you change that? Are you all that broke after requiring me to watch an ad after every game. I’ve known the game you’ve been trying to play to get people to pay to remove ads or for coins, but who would buy coins to lose them in 2 games. Other reviews have mentioned that they paid to remove ads, yet that lasted for a brief moment in time. How could you all decide to screw things up horribly in one week. I’d be shocked if anyone keeps playing this as you have flown to close to the sun. Also? Take a page out of candy crush’s play book, let people play the story/levels for free and have the ability to play multiple levels. Why reduce the amount of coins I get back for passing the levels, in some cases so drastically if it’s 1 star or 2 star when it’s been obvious to me that the game I was playing had no real solution with the cards I’m dealt.

Has Potential. After giving Skip-Bo another try, here are my favorite and not so favorite things about the game. I love that the game has many different modes in game play. From adventure, online and offline play and play with friends. My complaint about adventure mode is that most of the time it cost more to play a game than the coins you win back when getting 3 stars. Sometimes when you get 3 stars you get back the same amount of coins that you spent to play. When playing online mode, again it costs more to play and only the 1st place winner gets coins as while 2nd and 3rd place don't. You pay 1,000 coins each to play easy online mode and yet only first place gets coins. It would make sense if 2nd place got coins as well. Offline mode is fun but no coins. I love the 1,000 coins each hour but the other ways of earning coins have potential as well. We are missing avatars and frames for our profiles. I love playing games from mattel, and I play Uno all the time to the point I am a VIP 5 and spend actual money on the game. This game has so much potential but it is missing so much. If this game had what they have done for UNO, I would definitely not lose interest. I am excited that we currently have an event ongoing and is the only reason I am giving this Skip-bo another try.

Annoying. First off I love Skip Bo which is what made me download the app, but this app brings me more frustration than joy because of the coin situation. The levels need to be life based. If you lose a level, you lose a life. If you win a level, you get x amount of coins depending on how well you did and you keep that life. The free coins every hour needs to stay because your odds of winning an online match are slim to none. I have seen WAY too many people go out in one turn in the regular and high steaks game. I literally just left a high steaks game where 6 of the cards were skip bos and every other card followed perfectly. They were the first to start the game and the only to play. Also, you need to charge less for the online games because I can maybe only play one, get cheated out on it because someone typically goes out on their first play since all the cards miraculously fit. Because of this, I can’t play anything else for the next hour. Forcing people to buy coins to play is just dirty. Why not give players the option to watch one video to to knock 30 mins off of the hour wait for free coins if you won’t change anything? I’ve seen many, MANY complaints about the coin problem and there has yet to be a solution.

Very unreal experience. I have played thousands of Skip-Bo games, and this app is way too predictable. Never in a million years would the deck of 10 cards be so good that a player goes out in less than one round of play. I have had many games recently where this has happened. The cards in the draw pile were always Skip-Bo or the following card number sequence. I didn’t even get a chance to play one card. I have also noticed WAY too many cards of the same number present in the game. For instance, I counted 13 number 11 cards in one game that were visible to all players. In another game, I counted 12 number 3 cards. NEVER in any real Skip-Bo game would there be that many specific number cards floating around. I do enjoy playing the game when I do not feel like I am playing against bots or the winner is already predetermined before a game has even finished its first round. My husband is a software developer and knows that this game can be improved upon to better the user experience. It’s a decent pastime, nonetheless, but I will never spend money on a game that is so predictable or unreal that anything with the ability to tap a card could win. A monkey could win with no problem…. I wish this game would be better. Algorithms or not, it is a very one-sided experience. Maybe the algorithms are too simple and need to be rewritten. I digress…

Fun Game, Fremium Structure REQUIRES You To Pay. So here’s the deal, this game is really fun and I enjoy the adventure structure. I would play it for hours if I could. However, the fremium set up is very extreme compared to other similar apps. The app does give you free coins every hour, though there may be a glitch in mine right now because the free coins section is now showing 8 hours, which infuriated me. The free coins you receive are just enough for one game. If you don’t pass that level, you have to wait another hour to play (or 8 according to mine right now). The chest rewards for collecting stars aren’t helpful because they give you less than one round of coins, so you still have to wait to play. I was pretty mad when I paid $5 for a chest and I only played 5 rounds because I lost all of them. Seems more of a scam than anything. I don’t usually leave reviews but if you want to play this game you’ll likely be forking over your monthly paycheck. I don’t mind paying small amount here or there but the value just isn’t there. Find another app that gives you a fair amount of plays before asking you to pay up.

It’s skip bo. It’s a fun but scaled against you. Or for you.. This is a fun game. If you like the skip Bo card game this is it. Love it. But it’s not really like playing the game. Or if it is then the bot is TERRRRRRIBBBLELEEE at shuffling. I’ve played a few dozen games now and whether I win or loose it’s always by emptying about 3 hands of cards in one turn. If I loose I watch as the other player empties 3 or so hands of cards in the same turn. Every single game. I win plenty I loose plenty. It’s just kinda boring when that’s how it works. You don’t need any strategy here. Just wait for the cards to fall and see if you’re dropping 8 of your 10 in 1 shot or not. 1 player in every match will also get NOTHING but 12s and 10s. Seems very one sided. But sometime in your favor sometimes in another. My wife and I play this in real life and neither of has this kind of luck so I’m guessing it’s because this is electronic and the RNG is just not balanced properly. So all in all it’s fun but not like the real thing. I burned out on in in the same day I downloaded it. Oh well.

What are the rules for this version?. I’ve enjoyed the card game but am totally confused by this version. What’s the purpose of buying coins and why do I keep running out when I’m just trying to learn how it works. I can’t figure out the single player version. How do I get back to having an opponent? It’s no fun playing when I keep running into game changes (rules) I don’t understand. Please help! I want to write a review with 4 or 5 stars! I tried playing again tonight but ran into an impossible situation: My playing pile had a 6 on top so I needed a 7. An 8 was on the top of my available pile. Cards 1, 9, 10, and 12 were available on the board. My holding cards were 10, 11, and 12. When I tried to draw from my available cards “This card looks useful” was displayed. Then I tried all the other cards but nothing worked! What was I doing wrong?

Locked in tutorials. About once a week your hit with tutorial that your force to play I understand it’s to show me what that week’s event is but I’m a casual player that plays with friends and the minutes it takes wasting on that just makes me not really want to play after and I tend to find myself clicking off and just getting a different group game instead I know it’s not the biggest issue, but for me, it just leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Also only being able to play a ten card deck is annoying, in person I usually play with 20-30 card deck so it definitely feels like I’m play a seed round instead of actually play. The last thing is id rather pay 3 bucks then have to play side games to make coins just to play I don’t know that’s just me tho if the tutorial thing became an optional I think I could move up the star rating but for now it’s saying out of one just because that’s what really irks me it makes me not want to play and I click off repeatedly

Never enough coins. I’m not paying for coins when I barely had time to play. Why is Skip-Bo feel like a casino game and I have to keep spending money? I like to play a lot and then invest in a purchase when I feel like the game provides so many opportunities to play and win without spending money beforehand. Like Royal Match for instance. I’ve been playing and playing without a purchase, but I invested in a purchase not because I was trapped but because the purchase seemed like I would be getting a lot of fun cool stuff I wanted to try. This game is just about coins that you run out of fast. What idiot would pay $100 for enough coins to play for a week on a game that is mostly about chance. I would be more than willing to pay a one time fee to purchase the app altogether if I didn’t need to HAVE to constantly make in app purchases unless it was something to enhance the game, like different themes or something like that. I will pay for that. Like the monopoly app. Otherwise I’ve only been able to play this game for 30min to an hour before I lost all my coins. I’m not going to sit around everyday for hours for coins to regenerate. It’s just not fun…

Bummer. I was so excited to see this game! It’s a family favorite, and with my kids older now, it’s harder to convince them to sit down and play with me! Yay! Problem solved! Or not. When you sit down to play, plan on only getting to stay in the app for a game or two unless you’re willing to pay. Just applying the basic rules of probability … it costs 1000 coins to play basic. You win 2000. You have two opponents. The app gives you 1050 coins. If you lose your first game, you’re done. If you win, you could play maybe another, but be prepared to the game to cut you short if it’s going long by giving you or your opponent a string of cards to win and wrap up the game. Suddenly out of nowhere, someone flips a 2, then a 3, then a Skip-Bo, then a 4. Game over. If it happened once in a while like real life, cool. But it’s nearly every game, the winner will go out with an unlikely, unbelievable run. Just let us play the game for crying out loud.

SORRY, HAVE TO UNINSTALL. UPDATE: The Developer wrote back that they don’t force you to use other games but give them as options, but as I recall, one has to do the other games to get enough points to resume playing Skipbo. I probably don’t understand the system because I never want to play for points or treasures or anything like that, I just play for the strategy. Skipbo is a fast fun game that I love playing in the real world with friends, and it’s neat having an online version too when you can’t do the real thing. PREVIOUS REVIEW: The game is great for a while and then it begins forcing you off into other games you don’t want and then you get stuck in them and are unable to get back to Skipbo. Because I refuse to be forced into playing games I didn’t sign up for and don’t want and weren’t what I downloaded, I have to uninstall. Skipbo itself is terrific when they let you play it!

Love this game but... I played the actual card game first, told my aunty about it and she told me there was a mobile game for it, so of course I downloaded it. It is very fun, and I could play it for hours BUT its hard to play when you have to pay to challenge people, and if you don’t get first place you don’t win anything at all. Also for the levels, you pay more to play the level but don’t win back enough to cover what you paid unless you get three stars, which is easy at first but then it gets more difficult. So now im stuck between waiting the hour for coins, then challenging people to try and win (with the chance of losing everything) or wasting the coins on levels. I hope this can be worked on, the game would be much more enjoyable if I didn’t have to keep waiting an hour just to possibly lose it after one round and then wait another hour.

Super disappointed.. I have been waiting for a Skip-Bo app since my first I anything. It is my all time favorite game and there have been other apps that did way better than this. First and foremost I should not have to pay to play a computer or play a person a game of Skip-Bo. It is ridiculous. I get it for the leveling but not for playing and actual game of Skip-Bo. I agree with a lot of your other reviews that the game is with 20 card piles. The 5 and 10 pile is a why bother. Even more of a why bother when I have to pay to play even a computer! I just want to pass some time and play my game. It really shouldn’t be that hard. Clearly the makers of this game did not spend any time actually playing the real game. The only reason I gave it any stars is the leveling is fun. I do enjoy the challenges each level brings. But even with that your pay outs need to be higher or a no pay to replay. I foresee this whole coin system getting old very quick and I will delete this app. Any true Skip-Bo fan isn’t interested in this. Spite and Malice does a way better Skip-Bo. Also don’t advertise that you can play with friends and then when you get in app it says coming soon. When you can play with friends advertise it. Until then that is just false promises. Really off the mark.

Purchases..BEWARE. I have been playing this game for months as I enjoy it. There are certain aspects that are frustrating like an 8 hour wait for new coins when they have decided you have collected enough for the day and some of the bonuses features that are supposed to help you actually take away cards you need but I was still enjoying the game. I buy a star pass for each chapter that I reach to get the extra bonuses. Last week out of nowhere my star pass disappears. I contact the game, gave them my apple receipt and all of the information they asked for and they told me it would be 3 days to receive a resolution. I waited three day’s and nothing so I contacted them again and was told they would put an urgent marker on my request. It is now going on 7 days and I have heard nothing from them except when I have reached out to them. I’ve played other games and if a glitch happens they have it fixed in a day. This game doesn’t seem to care. All I want is what I paid for!

It’s fun but could be better. This game is fun, and despite its flaws I find myself still playing it. However I mostly play offline. There are not very many opportunities to win coins and each level when played online costs so many of your coins at once. All it takes is one loss and you have no choice but to play offline until your next set of free coins. I’ve never played another game with such a sort lifespan. This game also gives you some room for strategy but at the end of the day you could spend your coins to play online and still get a crappy hand and lose. In other words strategy may get you further but it will not help you win. The way the cards are drawn at random means the outcome is unpredictable. If I had a chance to make the game better I would allow one round playing online to cost less of your coins. That way if you are dealt a rough round you’re not completely out and can keep playing.

Favorite game. I don’t just like Skip-Bo, I absolutely love this game. Several , several years ago when my children were in middle school my neighbor and good friend introduced me to this game and I fell in love with it. We would set for hours playing this card game till our bottoms were so numb. Lol, we would get up and walk outside for a bit and walk our dogs till the feeling returned in our bottoms. We played this game almost every day. Her and I would play till it was my girl’s bedtime. We even taught them how to play. My girls are 27 and 30 now and I am still playing this game. I like playing it with the actual cards better because you are with your friends and you sit and have coffee and chat as you play. When whomever won it was very exciting and we were all very competitive when we played to. Now when I play it on my phone I think back about those memories and I smile. I love games that make great memories so u can think about your friends and the great times we had. She still plays but we are in different states now and when I go back home I’m going to get her to download the game so we can play together again. Thanks for making such great games and helping ppl to make wonderful memories. Thanks again, Christine D.

Hard to enjoy playing. I find the game to be kind of odd. I recently got into Skip-Bo in general and I downloaded the game so I could enjoy the new experiences with friend(s). However, the games more technical mechanics has caused me to not enjoy the app. It is surprisingly difficult to get three stars in the story missions without using coins. Sometimes the game seems to just give you unsolvable decks. I played a level without spending any coins to give you a Skip-Bo card(s) and I did all the right moves and I still lost. Even friends who played the app that I consulted this have pretty much all said that the game does it to them too. I causes you to waste a good bit of your coins. Also, if you don’t beat the level, you just lose a sum of coins. It’s frustrating to try and get three-stars on every level whenever you fail, lose coins, fail again, and eventually find yourself low on coins and have only progressed a few levels. I suppose you could just not care about get a perfect three stars on the level but who really wants to do that? Pft Skip-Bo is a great game in general but I wouldn’t tell any of my friends to download this app to experience it.

Deceptive Advertising for Ad Removal. I love the Skip-Bo card game but this app just frustrates me. I paid to have the ads removed, yet several times during each game it reminds me I can watch ads for powerups. If I paid for no ads, please stop giving me ads to watch ads. This just pisses me off to the point I don’t want to play any longer. Then adventure mode is clearly rigged to make you fail. I expected a puzzle game where there was logic behind it. In practice though, I find that without powerups, levels are impossible to win until their algorithm sees you’ve played long enough and makes it easy. The first several times you play a level, it’s clear that all the cards needed to win are not even in the deck, meaning the hand was never possible. What is the point in playing this when it’s clear that the makers of this game rig this in their favor. On top of all this, they keep sending me messages to share my data with them. Absolutely not! I said no, stop asking me! I’ve wasted enough time on this crap. I expected a lot more from a well known brand like this.

It’s fun but can be super annoying. Skip Bo is a really fun game but the issue with the app is that it makes it very obvious that when you play online mode they pick a specific player they want to win and make it easy for them to do so. I went trough 10+ games in a row where one player got an easy win because their entire deck was in order or they had a bigger amount of skip bo cards in the deck than they would have if it was really by chance. Also with the fact that we have to have coins in order to play online. We can't just play with other people and have fun. We have to pay to play an actual game. Adventure mode doesn't give you enough coins to accumulate to play online so you're quite literally forced to pay for more coins if you want to play online. There should at least be an option to get coins if you win offline mode games but you just play with a computer and win nothing. Not even getting to play against really people. It definitely seems certain “offline” players are favored. Some days I win win win plenty of times in a row But today and yesterday it’s been nonstop like one person gets all the card a they need to win like their cards aren’t shuffled accordingly

Ridiculously rigged…. The game could be fun… it starts off with a fair algorithm to get you hooked then quickly spirals into a highly rigged game with low to no chance of beating the bots in the “live” game. It’s basically you against a team of three bots who will do moves no human player would ever do to let the next bot win. You’ll have one card left, and one of the bots will discard a card the other bot needs, bot two will then miraculously have 5 skip Bo cards and then will immediately go out. This happens about 90% of the time. So frustrating because the game could be amazing but the algorithm is set so ridiculously that you can actually tell from round one which bots are the setters and which bot will beat you (and also can tell you have zero chance that round). The adventure game is quite similar - starts out with realistic odds - then spirals into levels that are impossible to beat unless you buy an upgrade - you can’t start a pile if you there are no cards numbered 1 in the pile… The ads aren’t as bad as I’ve seen in the other reviews though - normal amount for any game in my opinion. Fix your game developers!! You could have a treasure but you created trash! I would not recommend downloading this game unless you enjoy the feeling of wanting to throw your phone across the room.

Love it, but some things don’t add up. I love Skip-Bo, to be honest I play every day. But, I have noticed that when playing the “online” games, the other two/three players seem to be teaming up against me. For example, when I played the smaller game, if there is Player1 and Player2 and they both have a 4 on top of their stock pile, Player1 will put down 1,2, and 3, then they won’t put down their 4 card?? So then Player2 ends up winning because they got to put down their 4 card. It makes me wonder if it is actually an online game or not. This has happened a lot in the past couple days, but didn’t happen when I first started playing! It just makes no sense to me, because if they were other real players like me, they would want themselves to win, not the other player next to them! If someone could get back to me with this issue it would be great!

Decent. The game is fun. I mostly do the adventure mode because playing offline is boring and very repetitive. Most of the bots just get card after card after card to win. It’s geared towards them, which I don’t even understand why, as we don’t win coins or anything playing that way. Adventure mode is more fun anyways, but one big dislike, are the ads. I am a-ok with watching ads because I refuse to invest money in a mobile game, BUT one ad shouldn’t need to be clicked 4-5 times just to get out of it. You click once to move on and it brings up another video ad for five seconds, click again and some other thing pops up, repeat. Then they have the audacity to have a pop up telling you to Pay .99 cents and get rid of them. The challenges are a little boring, though I am new to downloading this and have only been around for the tail end of the cooking one and now the floral one. I did enjoy the meals one a bit more. Overall, not a bad game, though they do need a better way to get coins. The hourly free coins are cool and all, but more options BESIDES just buying them would be nice.

Please read before downloading. Ok so I have been playing this game for a full week and when I play offline it seems like the AI’s have an unfair advantage. Like does this sound normal to you?: You’re playing Skip-Bo and the AI’s get the PERFECT set up and you end up losing. Personally that’s not normal thing for me. Also I don’t like the idea of making you waste your coins to play online. Maybe make it cost less because it’s kind of a waste of coins. Like a full thousand coins!? In my opinion that’s WAYY more than it should be. If any of the creators are reading this think about those things please. Another thing is the earning coins. So, if you run out of coins you have to wait a full hour to get more to be able to play and you only get more if you win. Now, I think that winning offline against the A.Is should give you a few coins. Like maybe 50 to 100, because waiting a full hour to be able to play is kind of ridiculous. Also another idea is just making you have to wait like five minutes to be able to get more coins. Five to thirty minutes would be more acceptable and just make the game lots better. It’s just a shame that you have to wait so long to play. Another thing that is about the coins is that the places that you win in maybe you could earn coins depending on if you got first, second, or third place. Like maybe if you got third place you could get 100, second place 200, and first place however much you’re supposed to get. - Emerson. F

Ads even during offline mode. I was really enjoying this game and still would. However, if I’m playing the “offline mode” why am I getting ads? It’s gotten so bad that it is after every round. Everyone hates ads and I’m one that I will quickly delete an app if ads come up after every round of a game. I thought that maybe something had changed because it didn’t do this at first. The only thing that I had done differently was try out the story mode. Well I deleted the app and downloaded it again and it started me all over, which is what I wanted. Well after you play so many rounds now it forces you into going into story mode as it says “new something unlocked” where it takes you to the reward present. You cannot close out of this whatsoever even if you close out of the app. Please fix this as offline mode should truly be offline. Another frustrating thing I have noticed is when playing the offline mode the players seem to have an abundance of Skip-Bo cards, in all reality one deck wouldn’t even have that many. It does get frustrating when you’re playing and the “people” your playing against have an obvious advantage.

Not worth it. I love playing this game and the way the app is set up is easy to understand and use. The downside is that every thing cost so much to do except to play offline. You get 1200 coins every hour (that’s if you get on the app every single hour to collect your coins) and that’s not even enough coins to play online with real people which costs 2000. The adventure is the worst part of the app. Its fun and addicting however, some of the levels are not possible to beat the first couple of times you play them, meaning you must keep spending coins faster than you’re earning them. I played the same level 3 times and each time was not offered a certain card that was required to complete the level, making it physically impossible to win. How can you expect players to spend 700 coins on a level without giving them a fair chance to win? It’s like the creators want you to spend real money on their coins just to do anything. And yes sometimes they offer ads but its usually 2 different ads in one, and then you get one measly skip bo card that doesn’t even aid in you passing the level. Overall fun game but only if you want to play offline.

Noisy ads and devs don’t care. This was a fun game. At some point, the ads in this game no longer honored the mute setting within the game configuration nor does it honor having the phone in silent mode. I play games to pass time; usually in a public setting. Having to manually adjust the volume for a game is ridiculous. I reported this to the developers and they assured me it would be fixed. It still hasn’t been corrected in the month since it was reported. None of the other games I play exhibit this behavior and ads are played honoring either the game mute setting or the phone in silent mode. I’m deleting this game as there seems to be no interest in fixing this bug. Instead of getting ad revenue, these developers now get nothing. In response to the developers, this game is the only one I played that has this issue. Perhaps you need a better third party ad provider. Or even better, work with your ad provider. Passing the buck to a third party is a cop out. Turning down my volume to play a game is not an acceptable solution. I’ve deleted the game and hopefully this review reaches prospective players and encourages them to pass on this download.

Several issues. Needs improvement. I have several issues with this game 1. The card stack size is limited to either 5 or 10 in offline mode (and only 5 in online!). Why? Playing the card game, we would always start with at least 20 cards in the stack. Part of the fun for me is trying to be strategic, but your strategies don’t have a chance to make a difference when an opponent gets a lucky run and blows through half of their cards. 2. Coins. If I just want to play the game solo, by myself, why do I have to pay coins to play? You very quickly run out of coins and then you have to either wait or buy some. I understand doing this to force people to pay, but it ruins the game. Show me a 30 second ad after each game if that’s what it takes, but let me actually play the game! I don’t mind paying to remove ads permanently, but I’m not going to pay for coins, which will soon run out again. 3. No multiplayer with friends. Yes, it says this feature is coming soon, but to me this is the most important feature. And when this feature finally does get released, will it still have the same two issues I already discussed? My mom and I love Skip-Bo and would probably spend hours playing against each other. But if we can only play with 5 or 10 card stacks, it’s not going to be fun for either of us. And if we have to pay coins to play each other like you currently do either online play, we won’t be able to play for long.

Game is A Casino. The nature of Skip-Bo is based on luck. You will get very bad hands and will lose all your coins very quickly. Coins are used to play classic Skip-Bo with real players (although sometimes they feel like AI). The only “free” way to obtain coins is being allowed to occasionally watch an AD, rewards, or by playing the mini game. Unfortunately, the mini-game requires coins to play and even if you do well you profit very little. The mini-game is also based on luck and they riddle it with items to increase your chance of getting a good score, but don’t increase your earnings, so regardless you still make really little coins. The App is overall terrible and is only fun if you play the offline mode. The AI is better than most players anyways and it doesn’t cost any coins. Don’t waste your money on this horrible game. They have somehow found a way to ruin Skip-Bo. +1 star for being functional. +1 star for having a fun offline mode. -3 stars for everything else.

Online mode is basically all bots. There are many things I do like about the game. They give out coins every hour which is pretty decent compared to most apps. They also have pretty cheap options to buy some coins which also means you won’t have to watch random ads, although there are still ads to watch to earn extra coins, skip cards, or other perks. My main complaint is that when playing “online” it’s very obvious that you’re playing with bots. You can tell by the lack of human error, and when adjusting the page slightly the game speeds through the computerized moves. That would be way too fast if it were real people. The profile pictures are all stock photos, never any real pictures of anyone. So basically it’s the same as playing offline except you lose coins if you lose. Takes the fun out of it. I’d like to actually play against real people if I’m paying to play “online”.

Could be better. Skip Bo is a really fun game but the issue with the app is that it makes it very obvious that when you play online mode they pick a specific player they want to win and make it easy for them to do so. I went trough 5 games in a row where one player got an easy win because their entire deck was in order or they had a bigger amount of skip bo cards in the deck than they would have if it was really by chance. Also with the fact that we have to have coins in order to play online. We can’t just play with other people and have fun. We have to pay to play an actual game. Adventure mode doesn’t give you enough coins to accumulate to play online so you’re quite literally forced to pay for more coins if you want to play online. There should at least be an option to get coins if you win offline mode games but you just play with a computer and win nothing. Not even getting to play against really people.

Love the game but the app needs improvement on one thing.. Love playing Skip-Bo one of my favorite card games as a child and to this day. The game play on the mobile version is the exact same as the original game except one thing… the amount of cards in the deck. Playing with friends the fun of the game was how it was a longer game that no one knew until the very end who was going to win and time would pass without even knowing it. 10 cards being the maximum per deck playing with friends on a game night is WAY too short. I recommend keeping those options for players who do not want a long game but for players who are used to playing with 25-35 cards in a players deck it is too short. I find myself leaving the game with friends and not playing any longer just because every 5 minutes we need to start a new game. I will change this review to a 5 star review if this one change is made, but without it the play of the game just isn’t the same.

Unfair algorithm. I downloaded this game because of an add I saw I like card games so I downloaded it. When I started playing it was fun but the algorithm is ridiculous. When I first started playing I played offline and it was fine the first few games but then I could never win and I played several game online and offline; but no matter what game mode the other players card where always in a row and/or they had many of the skip cards. At first I thought it was just my frustration of loosing that I was getting so distracted and not playing to the full extent but no when I came to play the game the next day it was still the same. So it’s not uncommon or just a coincidence every game on or offline it is almost impossible to win because of the card distribution. It’s more annoying than frustrating. I think that the game developers should change something so it’s actually a fun game to play.

Disappointed. I love the card game, but the app is very clearly so desperate for money that the game is not enjoyable. There’s so little payoff for beating a level that you’re never able to save coins- lose 2-3 times, and you’re out. You end up only playing one level an hour, if that, so it doesn’t feel worth it to play. I also can’t imagine spending real money for more coins, since the game is clearly intent on draining them from you. Maybe if the coins would actually last, but it wouldn’t even be worth spending the money for how little you’d end up playing. Also, they definitely set you up to lose. I’ll go back to play an easier level and earn all 3 stars, but it’s physically impossible to even start. I’ve saved every card in the deck to confirm the game just will not give you the right numbers to reach the first card needed of the level. Another reason to not waste your money, since they will literally eat it up for nothing. Very disappointing bc this app could’ve been very fun.

Decent. The best quality in my opinion is the online play option. The “arcade” or “solitaire” aspect of the game I am not too fond of. However I do feel that the rewards you win after either the high stakes or lower stakes isn’t fair or adequate. For example, the only way to acquire tokens is through the “solitaire” aspect. However when you play high stakes it cost 2000 tokens with 4 players. However if you win you only get up to 5000 tokens. If each player is paying 2000 tokens to ply that equals to 8000 tokens not 5000. If I were to receive up to 5000 tokens after a win then there should be constellation prizes for 2nd and 3rd place. Also more cards should be added to the low stakes and maybe up them by 5 for high stakes and low stakes. But besides that if it weren’t for that issue then I would assume the app is a cash grab or gimmick. However I do enjoy the game and was glad to finally see a skip Bo app.

Love/Hate relationship. Let me start by saying.. I love this game! It truly is so much fun and very addicting. I started without signing into Facebook/apple at first. It drove me crazy that I couldn’t change my player name, so I eventually logged in. I hate ads so I had no problem with paying a fee to remove them. I played through the maze of challenges and didn’t see where I “won” coins/points etc but my overall tally seemed up so I was pleased. After awhile, I urged my husband to download the game too so we could try the “play with friends”. We have the physical Skip Bo game at home but it’s a fun twist of the game when we only have a short time to play and don’t feel like physically shuffling cards. After awhile of “creating a room” my husband realized he didn’t have enough coins to play. I was extremely confused by this but again.. hadn’t really paid any attention to the prizes won during my time of playing. I had over 10,000 coins so I started creating the rooms for us. That quickly fizzled out as my coins started running low within an hour and I realized neither of us gained anything by playing each other. No coins are awarded, yet you must “pay” to play. This is so frustrating that we must pay 800 coins to play a 2 player, 10 stack game but don’t earn any coins in return if we win. Doesn’t really add up🤔. Wish this option was free or had better winnings for games played with friends so we can continue.

Taking way more coins than supposed to. I absolutely adore this game. I started playing the physical version about 12 years ago and when I found the online version a few weeks ago, it brought back fond memories. I’ve noticed for weeks now that my coins were going way too fast, even though I was winning and should have been making up more than I was loosing. Specifically in the adventure map section. A few days ago I started paying attention to my coin count as I started a match, after I won, and then when I played another round. I have screenshots upon screenshots as well as screen recordings to prove what is happening. I have submitted multiple reports through the app itself with no word back from the technical support team. Not even the bot. I just submitted yet another one and noticed the other reports are now nowhere to be found. So I made sure to screenshot this one. I’m pretty upset that the money I’ve spent on the game has been wasted now that I know that this has been happening… every single time. And it’s never the same amount. One time it was supposed to charge 900 coins and it charged 1009. The next time (both tonight) it was again supposed to charge 900 and charged 1906. So the money that I work hard for and then spend on this game to unwind after work is literally just a waste of money. I loveeee this game but if something doesn’t change it’s going to force me to believe that it’s ran by crooks.

Unplayable now after updates. After I complained on here about the bots cheating, it has actually gotten worse. Instead of fixing it, they ramped it up. Whoever responded to my previous review (which is now missing btw, guess they delete the bad ones) basically admitted the game is rigged and they only care about the money. I have been playing this card game since I was a child. I am very good, almost unbeatable. On this game’s offline version where you play against a bot, I can hardly ever win now. I used to win at least several times in a row. Being frustrated by a game is not my idea of relaxing or fun. The map part is an absolute joke with how little coins you earn and then the cards needed to win a round are not even available, so the game isn’t winnable until they decide to let you have the cards needed. Could take 2 rounds, could take 10, who knows! That makes no sense at all. You won’t have to worry about me complaining anymore because I quit! I’m deleting this joke of a game. There’s no way this game really has 4.9 stars, no way!

expensive. i am a skip bo newbie i loved the game i was so obsessed during the first 10 levels which made the game seem as if it was similar to the candy crush concept with how you can easily move thru the levels. however, once you become seasoned, it gets more and more expensive to play each level. it’s the craziest thing to me having to pay to play each level but if you lose, which will happen regardless because some levels just don’t come with every card you need, you’ve now spent all of the coins you waited an hour to get. when you are out of coins, you can’t do anything except play the offline mode with zero reward and who wants to play with the fake computer players all day. it seems like so many people have had the same complaint about coins and costs for over a year now so it’s unfortunate that it is still the same issue. it’s as if the developers force you to pay for coins and xtra cards. and another thing, the game extras inside the level are just as expensive to buy you literally have no choice but to wait multiple hours to make enough coins to spend them all again inside of one level to finally win. i’ve never had an option to watch ads to earn extra coins or any opportunities to make more coins while waiting which i think development of that would be beneficial.

Lives instead of coins. Skip-Bo is one of my very favorite card games. So of course when I found out it was an app I was all over it! I really enjoy the online aspect of earning more coins. It’s really fun to be able to play with others but why does it cost so much? Seriously I don’t understand. Why can’t we create a room for like 100 coins? It just seems so silly. We don’t win anything. It’s just for fun but can’t do it for very long. You could do a timer option for every room you create if you don’t want people just only player their friends all day. It’s just way over priced when it’s so difficult to win coins. Which brings me to adventure mode. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I don’t get creators, why are you making us pay sooooo much for each level?!?!? It takes one loss and that’s it. You can’t play again until your free coins. But this also means you can do anything else in the game either except play offline. So what is the point? You earn 1,000 coins and then decide where to play, 1 loss and your out. Are you all really that money hungry? What about all the other games that give you 5 lives with a timer to earn more. I mean it’s perfect. Other stuff cost coins sure but lives are a much better option especially for the adventure mode. This game is barley fun if you can only play for a short time. I hated to give it 3 stars because of my love for the game, but I feel let down with the ridiculous prices to play.

Good Classic Game … with flaws. I love SkipBo. My fiancée and I play it nearly every day and we make up extra rules for fun. So I love having the chance to play it in app form. I have some issues with how coins are distributed/earned. In the map levels, the only way you can earn back the coins you spent is if you get three stars and earning one star gets you a fraction of the coins spent. It makes it difficult to progress and I’m going to quickly lose interest in this app if I’m only able to play one level at a time due to coin shortage. In the home page, I’ve noticed that you only “earn” coins if you are the “winner” when you compete against other players. I find this a little frustrating because, for example, you stake 1,000 coins in a three person game and the winner gets 2,000 coins. Where do the other 1,000 coins that were staked go? Same for the four player. In all, 8,000 coins are staked and only the “winner” receives a payout of 5,000 coins. I think there should be a system in place where 2nd/3rd/4th split the remaining coins based on their placement. Again, love the game… but the coin system needs to be significantly tweaked in my opinion. I think that individual levels on the map page should maybe cost an amount to “unlock” them and then be either free/significantly reduced coin price to “retry” them.

Unacceptable. I use to play uno but noticed Skip-Bo coming up as an ad a lot. Looked fun so I downloaded it. It was great but I realized I lost money so fast on the game. So I would play offline which get boring pretty fast. Anyway when I play in adventure mode it cost 1055 to play the round then another 1800 if you run out of cards. And then another 2000 if those cards still aren’t enough. By the time I done winning the level. I don’t even win half of my money back that I’ve invested to beat the level. Every time I run out of cards I buy more just for it to still not have that one card I’m looking for. Today I started off with 30,000 coins. Ive played 2 rounds and now only have 25,000. SMH, I just don’t understand why do it cost so much to play the game and you barley even win anything ?? 1800 to get more 4 cards that’s not even the one you’re missing? It just make me want to delete the app and keep playing Uno. If you guys could explain why is it that it so much money to play and little to win then I could probably understand it.

love but poor rewarding system. It seems like this has been an issue for awhile now, and it only seems to get worse! Even when the reviews get replies on saying it’s going to get fixed. You get nothing for coming second now, and the coins to play are still high.. and even higher with no reward back for second or third for that matter. 1500 per person on a 3x player game, only 3000 getting rewarded back. What’s going on with that extra coin? Every couple of hours you get 2020 coins but that’s one game for a couple of hours if you lose. I’m starting to lose interest due to the fact you guys aren’t listening to us players. Please do something, not say you will and not hold your word for it..

Fantastic!. Great game, lots of variations, can even play offline, or with a friend, the problem is that you can not change your profile picture unless you log in with Facebook, and for some people that is not applicable. And isn’t always clear what you are meant to do next.

Love this game. Feeling frustrated. I have a problem. I loved this game but it deteriorated since playing it. Need to work on fixing these problems. Otherwise I will go and leave this game. Now I am not getting treasure maps to get some extra coins each day. Please fix it or I am gone. I can’t afford to buy coins. Seam like that what you want. So we can get extra coins. Bye bye if this keeps happening. Because it is unfair for the people in these difficult who can’t afford to buy the coins. At least with treasure maps once a day you could get some extra coins

To the Developers. Love this game …it’s my go to game….that is up until today… the last update today is awful!!…. The only player that wins now is whoever is on the right hand side….I have played 15 games and only the right side person wins in the 3 player 10 card game….it’s no fun….let’s face it everyone likes to win from time to time Very disappointing now…..can something be done about this?

NEED MORE COINS!. Who on earth is giving this app 5 stars??? It takes waaaaaay toooooo looooong to earn coins so each time you log in you can only play 2-3 hands, which is super frustrating - especially when the cards needed to finish the hand aren’t ever provided!! Was really looking forward to the release of this game after all the hype but have been left EXTREMELY disappointed. Get better quickly or the app is going to the big bin in the sky (or cloud... whatever!)

Poor coding removes ‘random’ nature of real life game. It is becoming almost too easy to predict how an online game will go at this point, someone with 8 cards remaining in their stack will miraculously go on a run and win in one turn. This can happen in real life of course, but when that run happens almost every single online game you start to think that maybe the cards are predetermined or worse, put there as opportunities. Just completed two online games where in the first round a player was able to get their stack to 3 or less (starting at 10). On top of this, it is always a very common occurrence to pick up a complete chain to surprisingly get you to exactly where you need to be. Coding completely random sequences is practically impossible, however it is starting to impact my enjoyment of the app and am likely to stick to the real world game.

Extra coins going where?. Don’t get me wrong, this game is really fun and the format is great but I have a question. Why is it you have to “bet” 1000 coins on a single game where there is 3 of us in total who hav ever that much and yet the reward for winning is only 2000 coins? Same with the high stakes game. There will be 4 of us who have each put in 2000 coins to play the match so the reward SHOULD be 8000 coins if you win, but it’s a measly 5000? Not really fair since if you lose, you get none of those coins back.

Unbeatable levels. I’ve been playing this game a reasonable amount but it’s been very frustrating at times. I really enjoy playing it except for the times that I play an unbeatable level. For example, I have played level 49 in the third chapter three times now and it is impossible to beat, even with buying extra cards as the card I would like doesn’t turn up. This is one example of the many times this has happened. I think it’s very unfair to make players buy extras to pass a level. And even when they do, the required card is not there. Very bad programming.

Dumb and Frustrating. I love love love this game but the setup of the coins system is terrible. You get limited game time when playing online and I literally just played a game with 5 cards and didn’t even get a turn because the other player used all their cards in one go. To wait an hour to get enough coins to play one online game only to not even get a turn is really unexciting. I then tried the adventure game and that system upset me even more. The number of coins you get back if you complete the game but don’t get a high enough score is also terribly designed. I have since deleted the game I can’t deal with this emotional disruption in my day anymore.

Rocky road dog. Do whom I may concern I love this game I want to give five stars but it needs have 10,15,20;25 and 30 from the stock pile and I think you need to have play with friends online it needs to no coins or you get coins but I will give five stars if you make to stock pile up to 30 cards Thanks

Very confusing. Why is a card game so expensive, because I’m learning I can only play one game a day and then it’s 2000 for online? Never heard of a simple card game being so expensive … why would I want to spend money on a game that gives you nothing … it appears the same development response is given … so must be automated as nothing changes… shame would have been a great game ..now in the bin

accidentally clicked an ad then safari opened porn??. i touched the ad banner at the bottom of screen, a pop up appeared for solitaire. Annoyed i clicked out and resume playing then safari opens up (i only use chrome to browse) and the web url is changing then it loads a porn site.. This happened once before but my internet was too slow to properly load the jumble of urls.

So fun, So expensive. This game is great. A few different game options but WOW - the cost of each game is ridiculous and when you do win a hand, the coins you win are almost the same amount as the cost to play that game. So you are never able to amass a nest egg from winning so you can keep playing. Its very unfair in that department. 60% of the hands you are dealt never win so you lose your coins quickly. I’ve analyzed each game to see how or why I lost that hand, but with the hand dealt, it was never achievable to win. It’s designed to get you addicted and pay for more coins.

Worth it if you pay the $1.99 for no Ads. Love this game but found it impossible to play the “free” version as the constant ads between games killed it for me. $1.99 not too bad a one off price to pay though.

Relive your childhood conquests. Invite the siblings and friends you played with as child and reconnect if you’ve lost contact or as I did just rejoice in the chance to beat your sister after she did you the huge favour of not only telling me about this app but taking me to hospital and picking me up after a day op.

great but…. my grandparents taught me to play when I was a kid, it’s a big favourite in my family. would love to have more cards so the games aren’t as quick. like many others have mentioned… give us more coins or stop charging us so much for one game. and please get rid of those stupid emoticons that were just added, they’re not funny or cute, it just shows you if you’re playing against a sore winner/loser.

How I like it. It is a grate game I have played it for years and I have only just new there was an app and I have already one 165 games it a grate game to play with friends and family I would definitely recommend it I don’t like most cards games on your phone iPad tablet ect but this one I am I love with It I have been playing it for 5 days now it is so fun definitely recommend

SKIP -BO. Skip-Bo is the way to get coins and you can win the levels for coins I love this game so much because it has free coins every hour and you have to pay coins to play levels I give this game five stars for its great game and if you want to get the game you have to download the Skip-Bo game if you want to play it(it might have a panda in it!)

Still haven’t fixed reward system. Great game but I can’t stand it any more. You literally can not play this game without having to spend actual money. It is impossible to win and when you do eventually win the reward is that small you can’t continue to play. Very disappointing from the developers. It clearly has been a problem for a long time with this game and they refuse to fix it. It is a shame. This game had so much potential.

Rip off. I have been struggling to even finish a game this past few days without app crashing and taking my coins. Terrible issue and so disappointing when it already hard to play to many games without buying coins. I found the adds started and now not seeing them just black screen and app closes itself.

Poor playing system. 2000 coins to play ONE online skipbo game, no rewards to win in offline mode & you only have the potential to earn 1/4 of that in the dumb ‘adventure’ games to get you the coins that almost cost as much as you get back for playing it 🤦🏻‍♀️ you end up playing one game of Skip-Bo a day— pointless app. Would prefer to earn less and be able to play Skip-Bo more… it is after all why we downloaded the app, not to play some stupid ‘adventure’ game with the cards

Too easy to win too easy to lose. It’s too easy to win and too easy to lose, you get no money to play with unless you win and there should be a bigger game with 21 cards

Coin System?. The coin system doesn’t make any sense? Charges 600 coins on an adventure level and if you finish it perfectly you just get those 600 coins back? So insanely illogical. Why wouldn’t you win more coins than what you put in? I could’ve not played a round at all and ended up with the same outcome. Deleted this app and downloaded a knock off because this app is so out of touch and money hungry. Should be ashamed.

Lost interest. Lost interest after trying to play online games to try win over 5k to play for the map games, can never get over to 4k. I just played the 2k online game & we barely got around, the 1 player got to win in his 2nd turn 😒 Can barely get all 3 stars for map game, gotta try 4 times & end up losing all your coins and then waiting for the 1 hour to play again Love the game but you need better ways to get coins instead of the 1 hour wait, or the kong treasure thing. Deleted the app & hope there will be changes made.

Not bad not great. Thoroughly enjoy playing Skip-Bo. However with the most recent update they’ve put ad’s into the game and added a message feature that cannot be used.. as of yet (assuming they’re getting the game ready for the friend feature that will soon available)

Nice game to play but with few bugs. It went all pretty well. Nice set up with the game you can take on adventure or play online with others or play with friends. I have been playing this game for couple weeks now but the past couple days was really annoying me that the ad of take a Skip Bo only worked once. Most of time just black screen and wouldn’t go back to the game and sometimes when the ad finished then the game restarted but took my $800 with no skip bo bonus card!!😣 The ad of free $1000 money only work sometimes either. Please fix the bug🙏

Skip bo. Skip bo is one of the best game it’s get your Bain working and it is great for long car trip. I think this game is good for kid over the age of 8. I have play this game for a long time and I haven’t got bored of it and I get bored very easy which make this a great game. 5 star u should play

Love the game but hard to get coins. This game is so fun and addicting! The bonus side is that there are no ads. It is somewhat like the UNO app, except skip Bo doesn’t reward second place winners so you will need to wait 1 hour if you run out of coins, or, of course, buy them. Because of this, I rate it 3/5. Another suggestion is to have the option to watch ads to get coins, or again, make the second place winner win something like half the money (ie. first place wins 2k and second wins 1k). You can also introduce surveys if people are really desperate to get some coins. Overall, a great concept. Love how there is a feature to play with friends too :)

Love the game. I love this game as I love to play the cards have been playing this game since I was little now it’s on phone so awesome and less mess lol but I’ve finished the adventure ones and all it says is coming soon but not sure how soon is as it’s been saying that ages now so I’m kinda getting bored with the game as with the other parts u should add more cards as with 5 sometimes we don’t even get a go as sometimes it finishes it’s hole deck first go and it annoying as it’s a lot of coins to play when u don’t even get a go at it I think it needs more cards make it more funnier

Disappointing. I love Skip-Bo and was so excited when I saw it on the App Store. Once you get past the initial tutorial type sections you get to a point where you have to wait an hour to get enough coins to play one level, and you have to completely pass that level to get enough coins to continue. If you fail it and want to try again, you have to wait the hour to get more coins. So when you get to the more difficult levels you may get to point you can only try once an hour to beat a level. Lots of potential but the amount of play time is not enough unless you pay (which is very expensive for how little coins you get).

OK since latest update. A few days ago, I submitted a review and gave it 1 star. I would like to think that my concerns have been taken on board. Since the last update the games seem to be more realistic, I win some and I lose some an there are not as many runs, which is how I feel it should be. The only reason I did not give the 5 stars is, I don’t agree with the 8 hour break after approximately 10 hourly bonuses. It’s OK for me as I am retired, but not for players players that need to go to work. It would be so frustrating to sit down and relax after a days work, open Skip-bo only to find that they may only collect that 1 hourly bonus and find they cannot play again for the next 8 hours. In todays economic climate, the developers need to think about how so many people are doing it hard and not try getting funds from them so many times just so they can play their (most likely) favourite card game. If that problem is rectified, it would definitely be a 5 star review.

Used to be better. Is really frustrating that you now get frequent ads when you previously didn’t, also no longer two coins going after one another, expecting people to go in every hour to get coins rather than every two. It isn’t worth playing at the moment. Also rewards for stars have gotten worse it seems.

Hoping for an update on the coins soon!. Love love love the game, but having trouble staying motivated to play with the coin issue that everyone else has mentioned. There isn’t even a way to watch ads for “free” coins. We play the real card game most nights before bed, but would love to play with our phones together too! Thanks for reading. Ally

Loved the game stops working tho. My husband and I love a good game of Skip-Bo but for couple weeks now it’s not loading when we go to join a game with each other. We have to uninstall the game go through the tutorials again and hope it works! This issue is at the point we don’t want to play and wouldn’t recommend it to our friends or family if they were willing to have a joint game.

Completely unfair shuffles. Whenever you play the games the cards that you have to get rid in order to win are never random. Every time someone plays 1 card the other cards end up in order. I’ve had 1 game where on the 2nd round a player went from 10 cards to 0 and won in one go. All cards were in order aswell as having 3 Skip-Bo cards. There shouldn’t be any Skip-Bo cards in that 10 deck of cards

Engaging.. Engaging quick game - however when the “purchase ad free version” box comes up - there is no way to decline - the only way past it is select to purchase! So shut down and deleting app. Shame - really enjoyed concept and speed of games.

Love BUT coins are a hassle!. I don’t know why, in the map section of the game, the levels are so “expensive” to play. The sheer amount of coins you have to use just to play one game is horrendous and even so, if you don’t pass you have to wait an hour for just enough to try again one time. It’s actually quite frustrating. I love the app and the idea, but I think careful considering should go into cutting down the coin cost in these levels, at least give people a chance to enjoy binge-playing it like we did with candy crush. Almost want to delete it at this point but I’ll wait a bit.

Frustrating!. This is the most frustrating game ever! It costs 1500 coins for one game and some games last for 10 seconds! The reward for winning is only 3000 coins and if you come second you get only 375 and nothing for 3rd. It’s a game of chance so it’s not possible to win more than once every 3-4 games so you quickly run out of coins. Just trying to get you to buy them but why would you when they run out so quickly? This game is not fun, it’s frustrating stressful and makes me annoyed most of the time. Fix the game because everyone seems to feel the same way.

Coin feature and shuffling is frustrating. Coins are way too hard to earn - I guess that’s a way to get people to pay which I certainly won’t be doing. Also, I’ve never known a game to seriously struggle with the shuffle feature. I would say about 80% of the games I’ve played are over in the first round because someone gets a tonne of consecutive cards. The game has the potential to be really good but I’m getting really frustrated! Also - if this company doesn’t sort the coin feature like basically every single review is complaining about then they genuinely don’t care if you enjoy it or not.

Coins. Great game, but logging to collect coins every hour just so you can at least play for more than 5 mins at a time is getting boring. Why pay so much for one game and win so little? Watch an ad and get 500 coins, doesn’t even get you a game. More likely to spend money if that’s not all they want you to do.

Love the game BUT…. I love Skip Bo and reminds me of when I was a teenager sitting at the table playing it with family until all hours of the morning. I like playing the online part but find that it’s a bit unfair at times- whether it’s to do with the coding of the game or what I don’t know but sometimes you find an opponent or yourself gets a huge run of luck with the cards and it’s game over. Then you lose coins and have to wait to be able to play again with online opponents. Beside from that I love it and will probably continue playing it for a while. 🌸🌸

Love it, but needs some options. I love Skip-Bo, have for a long time. The online play is great with everyone on a timer so you’re not having to wait for turns. What IS really frustrating is only having 5 cards in your stack. The number of games I’ve started, only for the game to be over on the first turn because whoever started first clears their deck, is ridiculous. To pay 1500 coins a match, and get 180 in return and not even get to play? Really not fun. A lobby style game where you can host a game for people to join, and able to set your own rules would be great. Like how many cards in the deck, the timer, ect. Because it’s super upsetting, getting to only play once every two hours and not even getting a turn. UPDATED REVIEW! You now get less coins for coming second! There’s literally no point to paying 3000 coins for a chance at 6000. Why risk playing once when I can play twice for the same amount? And on top of that, the rewards for coming second in the 1500 match was halved? It was already so little! Love the game but jeeeez the rewards system is pathetic.

Trash. I’m literally brand new at this game and not even coming close to winning a game. The game can literally just start and someone is already on their last card and I’m still on 5 cards and it hadn’t been the first round. Money system in this game is absolutely terrible, you loose all of your money playing online in just 3 games. Not happy and will highly recommend not playing

Too hard to build rewards. Basically can’t play online, more than one loss in a row will wipe out your coins and it takes too long to build them up again in other areas of the game. Only section I have been able to play regularly is the offline play against Bots, but this does not earn you any coins to build towards playing online or even in the adventure section. Too frustrating, I’ll be deleting

Disgusted by the need to connect to Facebook. I loved this game until I tried to get the Star Pass only to get a pop-up to connect to Facebook. Then tried to request support, Facebook pop-up again. I don’t do Facebook so it seems I can’t get any of the bonuses (even when I’m willing to pay for them) and I’m not worthy of support. Not a big believer in conspiracies but seriously?? Why does any developer need access to another app that could have personal information on it just so I can play their game? There is no technical reason for this to be required, and I don’t play online….. Will delete this game if this is not resolved.

Just so disturbing. Update Reinstalled and gave it another go and it’s actually worse. Even tried buying and that seems to have made it more of an incentive for you to make sure your players lose! Only get free coins every hour, no allowance for two lots of coins to be collected as it used to be and all of this (including the amount of coins dropping from 1300 on the hour to 1050), just why? People wouldn’t actually mind paying small amounts of it was fair, but it just isn’t. ———————————- This game makes me so annoyed. The consistent losing streaks are driving me mad and it makes the game very unenjoyable! It isn’t luck, it’s by design and for that it’s a hard pass. Buh bye

Worse than Gambling. I deleted both of these games on all of my devices just now. The monetary model implemented within Skip-Bo is worse than gambling. I didn’t buy coins to play, so I effectively had to wait for free coins every hour. At the level I was at (chapter 5) you basically needed a golden skip-bo card to get through each level. In real monetary terms, you pay the equivalent of AUD $1.45 just play a game and then $3.00 for a golden skip-bo. All that for a game that takes 2-3 minutes. That’s about $90 per hour. At least with gambling, there’s a slim chance you might get a return on your money. With Skip-bo, the only way to play it (as you would with any other fun/leisure game) is relaxing an playing for half an hour or so. This means you have to buy coins if you want to play it like that. There’s no chance of a return on your money.

Great game. I have been playing this card game for years. It would be great if the following features were added: = Add more card amount options to online game- 10, 15 cards = Add option to play in teams online 2 against 2. You can take cards from each other’s stock piles

Coins coins coins. It’s all about the coins. To play online, you need a *lot* of coins, which are earned through the dumb Solitaire games or the chest every hour. The Solitaire games don’t earn you coins, just get back what you “paid” to play. The offline games earn zero coins, and the bots always get a run on their stock pile so while you have 9-10 cards left, the bots have 1-2 and inevitably win. Stick to the real card game, don’t bother with this.

Loved this game growing up but.. You should listen to the abundance of reviews…. Loved this game growing up but.. you can’t even really play on this app. Loved it the first while but once I ran out of coins it sucked. Depending on where you are at on the adventure, you get money every day but you even need money to play that. A regular game between three people online and when the goal is only 5 for 1000 coins per game is ridiculous, one good streak of cards and the game is over before you can even play a lot of the time so just a wasted. The high stakes is rather reasonable but you need more options to play online and you need more options to gain money without purchasing coins. You need more rewards then a daily log in. Also perhaps lower game online cost. You need better events. You need more rewards. At this point, it’s just frustrating to play as you can’t really play. As someone who works long hours everyday and would love to be able to jump on quickly make a few thousands of coins in a few minutes and be able to play a good few rounds without running out of money before I actually get a chance to play. I would of given a 5 star review if easier to play. Maybe have a ranking system of some sort that give players more money the more they win. Or another option other than the adventure to also make more money such as a mini game or something. You should listen to the abundance of reviews pretty much saying the same thing.

Comment. I love playing Skip-Bo but I am really annoyed over the side feature. Let’s just , for once, have true game without all the other features.

Too many ads. Anything you do in this game requires you to watch an ad. It is extremely annoying.

Needs 1 teeny fix…. Why only 5 cards ?!!! 😥 The game is over way too fast!

If you want to play you have to pay. It sucks because you get free coins for an hour and you’re not even guaranteed to win a game because even if you play correctly sometimes the deck doesn’t have the right cards in order for you to have x amount of stars. The update sucks, it just sucks I hate it.

The coin system is ridiculous. You used to be able to play this game without needing coins and you could have way more cards in the deck. Now they just want to spend money. You can play for 15mins and then have to stop because you run out of coins. And the games are so short because they only allow 10 cards in the stock. The upgrades for this games were not so n it’s best interests.

Not random at all!. The game is well made but it is definitively «fixed», meaning that the card are not passed randomly like in real skip-bo. I taught that I could use this game to practice but it is not the case at all!

Best card game app. I’m so pro

Money Grab. Really disappointing game. The story mode is actually very good, however the reward system is setup for the player to lose. It very quickly drains you of all coins which are needed to actually play the game. As well, I paid for no ads only to be greeted by more ads for power ups. The developers seem to be on some kind of hallucinogenic, insisting the game is balanced. If you enjoy playing the main game for a few minutes then saving and playing mini games for the next few days then this is the game for you. Otherwise Id pass.

Burns through coins.. Love the game but it takes too many coins to play one hand and so few in return when you complete a level. Forces people to buy coins but I wouldn’t bother because the game will burn through them just as fast. So much for simple inexpensive enjoyment.

It was good. Then they added ads out of nowhere. I used to be able to watch ads if I wanted for certain “boosts” or energy or whatever and now I have to watch them during gameplay … REALLY ANNOYING

Fun but not ready!. The app isn’t ready to be out yet. It needs a lot of work and development.

Don’t even bother. This game is so annoying, and it’s not skill whatsoever. It’s pure luck, which is never on your side.

Terrible returns when you win. Waste of time, poorly designed…when you do win and play well…reward is too little to play again.

Plus de carte!!. J’aimerais que le jeu permette d’avoir plus que juste 10 cartes, mais des parties de 20-25.

Sucks. This game is awful. Game always seems to be rigged to one players favour (sometimes it’s me, sometimes it’s another player) coin system is awful as well. Only having 10 cards in the stock pile doesn’t even confirm to Skip-Bo original rules (should be 30) overall, avoid.

Almost good. You almost had a good game. The story mode is fun, but you barely give us any incentive to play. Pay 800 coins to play the level, if you win you get your 800 coins back plus a bonus 60ish coins (8%) winnings. The only reason to install this app during the pandemic was to play with friends. But you can’t because for 3 months now it’s been coming soon and the feature isnt ready. Unfinished game. Big disapointment.

Classic money grab game. They pretty much make it to where you have to spend money to buy coins in order to play the game… so sad because I really enjoy playing Skip-Bo…

Love. I literally live this game it’s my before bedtime game and i’m the best

Rigged and No Longer Fun. Adventure mode is impossible to complete levels without spending extra coins on 80-90% of the levels. Then you don’t win enough coins to compensate. It started out fun but after five days its not fun when the deck is clearly stacked against you and all you’re trying to do is collect coins every hour.

dumb. why do I have to play this event instead of the actual game ?

Comment. It would be nice to have more than 5 cards in the stock pile. Also it would be nice to play against friends.

Algorithm cheats so obviously. Be prepared that when you play against the “computer”, that it very obviously cheats.

Unfair. Not sure if this is what everyone thinks but each “puzzle” should have a solution not a bunch of random cards that may or may not play out properly. Not sure why it’s set up this way as it sure is frustrating to not even have the correct selection of cards in the stack, the hand or the pile up top to finish the puzzle. When playing Skip-Bo with a real deck with real people random is part of the game. But puzzles need a solution not a try again with a different random selection of cards that not turn out good either give us more money to fail again. Bad game.

Not enough coins. There are not many options for coin resets. $1,000 coins per hour gets you one round, you lose, you’re done for an hour. Not engaging enough.

Mattel Skip Bo has very SEXISY ADS!. The game is OK but what is it with Mattel’s sexiest ads: women in dire straits, women on toilets, women needing serious makeovers - yet all the men are strong and handsome. Who runs this company? Very disturbing!!!

Need power ups to make it. Some levels there is no way to make it unless you use/buy power ups. I am currently playing free mode but will not buy coins because the return on winning is terrible and definitely not worth it. Too bad because it’s a fun game It would be worth spending a little money on if it was more fair play.

Great game except the Adventure mode. I don’t normally write reviews but I really like this game and the online play. However, the adventure mode sucks and I never feel inclined to play it because you lose coins so fast. I would play the adventure mode if I could actually gain coins from it or at least break even…but instead you lose coins playing it. I don’t understand why it costs 800 or more coins to play a level when you can’t even get that amount back most of the time. The adventure mode should be free to play or much less coins so people actually have incentive to complete those levels. Online play is great but adventure sucks.

Ads. I’m about 2 seconds away from deleting this app. Ad for a skip bo card, ad for 4 more cards, ad when you pass a level, about 4 minutes worth of ads for the treasure chest. It is so beyond annoying. The ads are now 90 seconds then you hit X for another 5 second countdown and then 3 more seconds for good measure to resume play, seriously?

HORRIBLE. Absolutely garbage of a game. Totally rigged to force to pay if you wanna play more then one game an hour. Absolutely trash!!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD

Don’t get enough coins. When you play online or the journey mode you don’t even get back enough coins could only play the game once then out of coins

Game set up sucks. Even if I pass a level I don’t earn back what it cost to enter the level. Costs 1050 at the levels I’m at and unless you get three stars (which has proven to be difficult), you only make back 100-300 coins. I feel if you pass a level at least make back what it cost to enter the level. I get the app may need money but if the game isn’t enjoyable free who’s going to pay to play? Especially once you realize how easy it is to drain the coin account. Additionally, it would benefit the game to allow user to adjust the online play settings for the 10 card pile instead of 5.

Just sucks!!!. Old version you could play with friends. We played for hours. Mattel decided it could not be played anymore because this makes more money. I even paid for the old game and it just disappeared with no refund. I want the same game game we all play in person. Have lots of fun. This version just ruins a classic game.

Meh…. At the begging it was fun but the cost to Play games costs too much for the chances of winning. Also WAY too many ads…

Love it !. It’s a little frustrating in the beginning when you run out of coins but as you get better, it’s easier to get 3 stars! Also throughout the day, refresh your rewards so you’re all loaded when you want to play! Great game 😻 sadly finished chapter 4, excite for new levels

5 card deck…. It would be nice to have more than 5 card decks… games are too quick

Adds. First there was the coins issue.. now you added a bunch of adds and ask to pay for no adds, this game can’t get more ridiculous..

Skip-Bo. Great way to kill time.. love this game

Easy to play. Doesn’t take to long for a quick game….

U NEED TO CHANGE THIS NOW. There should NOT be allowed skip bo’s in the 5 card deck 10 card or 7 card deck. Especially when your playing online and the other person gets three in a row and win right away. And the card deck should be a normal card deck so you can’t get 3-4 of the same numbers at once..

Terrible Experience!!. I love Skip Bo but this version is just terrible. The gameplay is awkward. The screen orientation is disorienting. The cards are too small. If you want to see an app version of Skip Bo DONE RIGHT go look at a version of Skip Bo that a company called Magmic had a few years ago. It was a great game with a fairly simple layout, but the game play was awesome and quick for a card game. I would play that game for hours at a time. You could have stacks of 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 cards. It was a great variety. The only problem was that game was a SCAM. They took people’s money and then the game disappeared and was useless on people’s devices. People didn’t get their money back. Terrible Scam! But it was technically superior gameplay compared to this version of the game that we see here. Why anyone would create a game that is WORSE than a previous version it beyond me.

Dont play the bots. Don’t play the bots, unless you love to lose a lot!!!

:/. Sucks how many coins u have to spend to play with a friend but u don’t win coins playing against them

“they’ll gladly take your money”. There used to be another company that made this game available and they did an awesome job. You could play offline or online with friends. No point system required. It was fun and very enjoyable until they had to remove it due to copyright restrictions. This version is complete garbage. Once you start playing you’ll notice that you’ll eventually start losing more and more on offline play. I choose offline play because I find it ridiculous you have to have coins to play a simple old card game. But offline play requires less coins to play. The game does give you free coins once in a while but only enough for a few games, but don’t worry, if you wish to continue they’ll gladly take your money to continue playing.

Please change so you can wager with friends!. I love this game but I think it would be so fun if I was able to play against my friends for coins! We always talk about how fun that would be!

Rigged games. I’m not just a sore loser. Me and my sister tested the game for an hour and I was not able to win a single game. The game is not randomized. It seems to pick one player and gives them all of the cards needed to win. She was able to put down ten cards at a time every game, while I was stuck with doubles and triples of the same cards. Again, we tested this for an hour… not just one or two games. That’s a huge glitch.

Not worth it. It’s an obvious money grab. At least games like candy crush are playable without spending money. It would be a good game if there was more playability.

Not sure if I will buy this game. I always like to try a game for a while before I purchase it. Unfortunately, I am unable to determine if I like this game because it is constantly running long ads so I get frustrated and leave. I see your comments that you are working on some of the complaints yet I see no effort on your part to deal with them.

Dumb people. Would be nice to play with people that know how play, I said what I said

It’s rigged. Everytime I play against the robot (bc that’s all I can afford) it keeps on giving the robot ppl all of the cards needed to win🙄 game sucks

Stop the coins…. Is there an app where you can just play the card game? I remove and re-install when it starts the coin thing…

It’s okay. I was excited to see this game go mobile. This is one of my favorite games to play with the family and I was excited to play online. However, you can’t play for more than a few minutes. It costs so many coins to play. I don’t even play online because if you lose once, you’re done playing. I started playing the adventure to try and stockpile coins so that I could play online, but that drains your coins as well. Even if you win a level in the adventure you don’t get enough coins to play another level. So, if you get one star on a level it’s only 300 or so coins. It costs 850 coins to play a level. I would be fine watching ads for extra coins, but that’s not even an option. I wish they would update their coin system.

Fun game. Fun game, but like others, it’s frustrating to have to pay coins for each level in the adventure, especially as the cost keeps going up and up as you get into higher levels. I also wish it wouldn’t automatically turn on bonuses when you replay a level that you haven’t won yet. I’ve wasted so many bonuses because I don’t notice they’re turned on when I don’t want to use them. Also, if you use them for one level, they stay on for the next level. I should have to manually turn them on any time I want to use them (like every other game that has something similar). At the very least, a pop up that asks if I want to use them, but don’t just turn them on for me.

Nice game ruined by sloppy monetization attempt. This is really three games in one—a solitaire game, a multiplayer game (traditional Skip-Bo) with a building metagame, and a game against AI players, which all work differently. The first two require coins to do anything, which replenish at a rate of enough to play just one game every hour. You can play solitaire repeatedly until you lose, but then you’re done. There are a variety of special bonuses that you can achieve every so often, but each of them gives you a fraction of the coins for a single game, so they’re barely worth paying attention to. The third game is free but boring, essentially just playing out a long string of railroaded moves to see whether you get lucky or not. Either Skip-Bo or the solitaire game could be a lot of fun if they weren’t limited by the coins, but they are, so there’s no fun to be had here.

Pathetic. I’m not sure where to even begin. First off, it’s rigged so bad. In adventure mode you spend way more than you make so you never get ahead on coins. You can do the best possible and you will still only get 1 star sometimes. Some adventure levels are literally impossible unless you spend coins on gold cards. I’m online play, your opponents will have 3 Skip-Bo cards in their deck and 2 in their hand while you have 4-5 of the same number and have to forfeit numerous turns before you can get even play one card. This game has the potential to be fun but the creators are too money hungry to make it that way. I don’t mind spending money on a game when it is fair but this game is definitely not it. Sadly, I’ll have to delete because supporting creators like this is something I refuse to do.

Like it—but would like to change avatar. I’ve played the Skip Bo card game for 45 years—when the cards had boats on them. Our family keeps decks around and enjoy the card game. As far as this app goes, I enjoy the regular card game part—don’t care for anything else, which seems a distraction. What really bothers me is that there is no way to change the image or name without linking to FB, which I will not do. I would not my want my profile pic linked to this game. I’m not sure who is a bot and who is real in the regular card game. It’s so frustrating. Mattel has plenty of resources to make customer-centric changes. There’s no reason we can’t change our usernames and images.

Disappointed. I’ve been playing skip Bo for years so I was super excited for there to be an app! This game is terrible. The adventure mode is boring and has nothing to do with traditional skip Bo. If you want to play online you have to use 1000 coins ??? And offline mode it seems the bots get every single card they need and never block the other bots from using the card on their stack but seem to block every card you have. While they get every card they need to run out of their stack, the real player is stuck with many cards left bc you get a terrible hand and you are continuously blocked while no one else is. Don’t waste your time getting this game you’d be better off playing any other game this developer has on the App Store. I’ve tried many times to give this game a try and they really just missed on everything.

Single player mode is just meh. My daughter and I love the multiplayer mode and she has recruited several in our family to get in on that fun. The single-player mode, though, is not that great. And it’s waaaay too hard to get three stars in order to actually improve your coin count. This strikes as an Ill-disguised method to get the user to buy coins. But that gambit is no good if I am playing levels the best way possible given the cards dealt and only earning one or two stars. This happens repeatedly. Just now I played a level in the best way possible where the cards couldn’t be cleared any faster than they were and I only earned one star. So I got 293 coins for spending 900 to play the level. Not rewarding in the least.

Can’t even play because it costs too many coins. Unfortunately I can’t even play because it costs so many coins. Unless you spend $5 you can’t get anymore by watching ads or anything. I just want to play skip-Bo but in the map area it’s a whole different game. The map section of the game should require energy to play it instead of coins. I wish I could play but I’ve only been able to play like one game every time I get the 1000 free coins once an hour. And I definitely can’t let that be one game in the map section because then I’ll have to pay another 1000 coins for an extra 4 cards or something, which aren’t even guaranteed to have the last ones you need. Overall, it’s a rip off because they basically are forcing you to pay for coins or else you just can’t play.

It’s wayyyy over priced. Im sorry for this , but you really need to fix the game. Its so hard to win coins . It dont matter if you play online or in adventure mode . Both of them require coins to play, and more then half the time you dont get even close to the coins you put in!! And u never win online god forbid they let you! U win a fee times at frist and never again. They just hand winning cards to anyone but you. I truly only like playing with friend bur guess you have to spend coins to do that! And get none back.. Maybe try lives for adventure mode. U literally get once chance every hour. Bc they give u 1000 coins and that’s how much it takes to play online or one game in adventure mode . Fix ur game . It’s annoying.

Iffy. I truly love the overall idea of this. The adventure mode is fun and addicting, however anytime I play online, the person in the top right wins EVERY single time. Every time. Now, I’m not complaining that I lose, it’s the fact that it’s whoever is in the top right is always the winner. No matter what. They’ll be losing terribly then all of a sudden their next base cards are 1, 2, 3, skip bo and they win. Super frustrating especially given how much it cost to play an online game. Also the fact that you have to pay for the bonus column of chests in every single chapter of the adventure mode rather than the one time $4.99 is pretty frustrating. A one time $4.99 should unlock the bonus column in all of the chapters. If these 2 things were fixed, I’d be getting allot more friends and family to download it.

Overran by bots. Update: deleting the app. It’s rigged. Your opponents set up the other players by playing cards that give them moves. Bots are running this thing. I’ve finally had enough. Over it. I have been playing SkipBo for a while now but lately I have noticed more and lore bits playing which makes this game super frustrating. Boys are playing weird cards and setting up the bot who’s turn is next. Some of the plays are obvious because no real person would make plays that sacrifice their win. I have noticed bots playing their wildcards in moves that make no sense and I’ve also seen bots not play their lead card when they could have. It is super frustrating for real players and I’m in the verge of deleting the app altogether. SkipBo, fix the bugs and if you are going to allow bots, fix their programming to not make it so obvious.

Money Hungry. I am so disappointed in this game. I used to love it but they continue to create updates that make it overwhelmingly transparent that they have designed a game with the sole intent to make money. For starters, they lure you in with easy wins only to increase the difficulty exponentially causing you to lose all of your coins within minutes. Additional “free” Boosters (available by watching an ad) are only available for the first few games of the day. They make you believe these free boosters will help you win but it has more to do with the ease of the game early on. You don’t know this, though, so you use all your boosters to try to win the nearly impossible games. The latest update has put me over the edge. The game used to provide coins every hour. With the new update, coins are initially provided every hour for the first few collection, but then after maybe 3 collections, it takes 8 hours to get more coins. The coins already only allowed you enough to play one game that lasts about 2 minutes. So if you want to play the game within the next 8 hours there is literally no other way than purchasing coins/plays. Really bummed to see such a great game completely turn over from making a good profit and providing joy to many to caring solely about making people pay money to experience joy. How sad!

Asks For Purchases Far Too Many Times. I wanted a truly random Skip-Bo game. This one is ‘free’ with in-app purchase opportunities. The off-line traditional Skip-Bo game option is okay, but the cards don’t feel random. On the other hand, ‘Solitaire-like’ game option really feels like gambling. There are so many requests for payment to buy extra cards and other features that allow one to win. Given that the cards aren’t dealt randomly, this seems clearly designed to get the player to spend money on a daily basis. After some fairly boring teaching rounds, obviously designed to allow one to win, it has become impossible to continue playing more than a few minutes a day without purchasing stuff. The constant need to make purchases in order to play, when the game controls whether you get the cards you need is just ridiculous! Unfortunately , I can’t recommend this one.

I love this game I love the creator who made this game good job. I would like to say this game is so good and I would recommend it to all these people out here bc I think it’s fun for everyone out there I mean it great I give full credit to the maker of this game I mean that’s how good it is I mean it’s really good I think you should tell everyone out there about this game everyone on here that see this please tell all your friends about this this game should get a ten out of ten and to all the haters out there you are rude you know how hard it was to make this porbly hard and I’m only 13 teen years old and I think you should be nice to the ceartor of this game goodbye please text me back one of the biggest fan of Skip-Bo huskygammer

Terrible algorithm. If you like playing stupid quests they added in them this game is perfect for you. If you are going to download this for Skip-Bo specifically then don’t waste your time… every time I play this game I’m left frustrated with people letting other people win. There’s only 2 options for skip Bo. One game with 5 cards to get rid of and one with 10 cards. When I play the 5 cards game usually somebody wins on their first turn, not even giving you a chance. When I play the 10 card game people will literally have a 12 in their discard and they put down up to 11 when the next person needs to play a 12 to get out. I cannot play this game anymore I will be deleting it. Huge waste of time if people won’t play correctly and the algorithm gives them cards to go out in one hand.

Mids. Skip-Bo is one of the most fun deck of card games there is. This app has the opportunity to be super fun and enjoyable for all users, although it lacks a lot of things. The notion that one round of Adventure Mode costs 2100 coins is absurd. This essentially means you have one chance to win within an hour, or your coins result to 0. If you win, you basically still have only one more shot. There are opportunities to win coins, but it’s minimal. The chests gives you one shot at another round, only to win within 2,000-3,500 coins from it (every 24rs). Between chapters 1-13 the price per round increases every latter. Please do better with the funds you ingest from in-app purchases and put that into your operations and game development. Customer feedback is important.

Money scam?. It seems like this was just created as a way for the owner to try and get money from people. I just want to play the game but I have no coins and I can only play 1 game an hour and then lose all of my coins because it’s rigged and makes me lose hoping that I’ll buy coins. No, I’m not gambling on a mobile game… I would never spend money on a game where I’m guaranteed to lose everything I bought. This game is so boring. I just want to be able to play online with people and enjoy the game but it’s just a gambling game and not how it should have been made. I’m very disappointed. We should be able to play without having to spend money. Ts won’t make me spend money it’ll just make me delete the trash game👍 Fix you game and make it so people can play as much as they want without spending money otherwise no one will play:)🤷🏼‍♀️

This was my go to before bed game. For a few years I’ve been playing this in the evenings before going to bed. It’s become almost a ritual. For the last week or so,I’ve noticed that the ads that used to be around 30 seconds, are now 67 seconds plus two 5 second counters on top of those. When an ad comes up that is that long, I just quit playing. I know I could pay to get rid of them…although I did that once when I first started playing and it didn’t do anything other than take my 2.99. I just don’t want to wait that long just to get an extra card…so I’m over it. It’s too bad too because I really did enjoy it.

Potential. This game really does have a lot of potential but honestly it’s wasting my time! After i played for a little bit i noticed things like to play the “solitaire” part it costs 800 coins but if i win i only get 860 back and if i lose i can’t play again or even play online because the game is made for you to HAVE to spend money to play. I get 1000 coins every hour but to check back every hour just to accumulate enough coins to enjoy the game is excessive. I am able to play literally one round of one game and if i lose I’m out of luck and i haven’t played the game long enough or enjoyed it enough to want to spend my money on any coins because they go SO fast!!! Pls change that. Other than that i like the idea of the game it’s fun to play just better hope you win or you won’t be playing long at all. Might delete the app

Waste of time !. I love Skip-Bo, so when I saw this app, I was ecstatic. However, you might as well just buy the actual card game and play at home.. First of all, you never play against any real people, it’s all computers. Which wouldn't be a big deal if the game wasn’t so clearly rigged for you to lose your money. Which makes sense, they can’t make money off this game unless you’re buying coins, and you’ll have to buy coins if you want to continue to play the game. Otherwise, you get maybe one game in a day and lose all of your money because oddly enough all the computers you’re against are dealt (1,2,3,4,5) Which is just ridiculous, they don’t even try to hide the fact that they rig the game for you to lose. So all in all, it’s a waste of time, energy, and money(if you’re naive enough to spend money on this joke of a game).

Disappointing. When I downloaded this app a couple of weeks ago, I didn’t even look at the reviews because I enjoy playing Skip-Bo. However, it didn’t take long for me to become very disillusioned. I won’t pay to remove ads and normally that’s not a problem. However, after playing this for a short period of time, the ads are coming nearly every other turn. On top of that the ads will often load more than one at a time and then they won’t clear. I cannot delete them and often have to come out of the app just for it to reload so I can go back in. This becomes a big issue on the adventure mode because I lose the money I have paid for that level. It’s not worth playing, unless something is done about how you process your ads. I am not against a developer putting ads, but this is way more and much more difficult to deal with than any other app I play.

Bots need work. I always loved playing Skip-Bo so I am so glad to see that this app came back, however it is increasingly frustrating watching how the bots play their hands. I know they’re not human, and can’t play with strategy, however the game seems to be rigged in their favor. I noticed that sometimes they will play cards from their discard pile before they actually play the card in the stack that they need to get rid of, yet they still win. They win because they have all the cards needed & several Skip-bo cards to go out quickly. The bots also lay down cards that the next player needs to play on. Please try to work on the skill level all of these bots so it becomes more fun and not frustrating to play. I would consider paying to get rid of the ads if it was better developed.

Rigged. At first I got addicted to the game, then I felt feverishly angry with every minute of playing. I feel that most games have to have a level of difficulty which is fair. This game however, rigged the game in favor of themselves where you need to constantly buy coins. You must bet a good deal of your money to play anything except against bots. With little to no chance of getting the coins back. You are betting 600 coins just to play a level of solitaire that has no cards for you to play it ie. if you need a 5 it will give you every card except 5 and you automatically lose 600 coins. Even if you win you must get 3 stars to get all coins from that level so what's the point? You also lose coins playing online because you have to bet a minimum of 1000 coins which after maybe 4 levels with the odds they give you, you will be completely out of coins. It's rigged don't play.

Not enough coins. The game itself is enjoyable. I like playing the adventure mode but unfortunately you get to a point where the amount of coins you earn every hour only gives you enough to play one level. If you don’t pass that level, you have to wait another hour just to play again. I would like to see more ways to earn coins (or more coins earned per hour). I don’t mind watching ads for coins, but it only allows you to do that like once a day and only gives you enough ads to watch for the price of one level. There are a few other ways to earn coins, but the payout isn’t enough. This means I don’t get to play nearly as much as I would like to.

Very addictive. I saw an ad for this while playing a different game and I thought I might give it a shot considering I like to play solitaire or any type of car games and I didn’t expect it to be so addictive I absolutely love it It’s the perfect game for me to just kill time before I have to go do some thing or just to sit down and relax No the game isn’t perfect though I do think it could improve I have a love-hate relationship with not being able to play certain things without the proper amount of coins I do wish it was more along the lines of lives like in other games but other than that I think it’s really fun

My mother. Dear developer of this electronic version of Skip-Bo. I can’t thank you enough. My mother and I used to play this game regularly. She’s been gone now since 2006 and even though I don’t have her here anymore I often imagine that she’s the one sitting across from me. I haven’t written a review because I couldn’t do it without tears in my eyes. You gave me something none of the other developers have given to people. You allowed us to play off-line at no charge. To say that that is a rare thing in today’s world is an understatement. My deepest thanks to each of you that developed this electronic version. I wish more would take your lead again thank you sincerely one of your biggest fans.

Frustrating. This game frustrates me beyond belief. Each games ends after very few rounds with the winner being the one that gets 5 or 6 Skip Bo cards. How can that be when each deck contains 162 cards? When you play the adventure portion it’s rare to get Skip Bo cards. Usually you have to watch an ad to get 1. For these reasons I have come to conclusion that they want you to play as many games as possible as fast as possible. It’s set up just to make you spend money. I constantly tell myself I won’t play anymore bc I don’t think I have a fair chance but I then I play whenever I’m bored. I don’t mind spending money to play games that I enjoy but I won’t pay a dime to play this game unless there are changes.

Good fun game. This is a good fun game that I play only as a filler game. I never have enough coins to play more than a few games on the trail line and I lose more than I win there. But I enjoy it when I can play. It would be nice to be able to play more than just a few games at a time. I do get on when I can throughout the day to grab my 1,100 coins and I just save up until I have enough to play a few rounds. Then it’s back to just collecting coins. I gave a 4 star because when I can play, I enjoy it. I would have given 5 stars but since I only have enough coins ever to play for 10 to 15 minutes at a time, you only get a 4 star. Hope you can fix this issue for me. Thanks

Could be a lot better. The basic game is fun and the premise is good, but the implementation leaves much to be desired. 1. Exactly what is the scoring system for the solitaire part of the app? I have no way of knowing why I earned two stars instead of three, and there’s no FAQ or help section to learn how and why the app is assigning stars. 2. I echo the reviews that bemoan the lack of a 20-card option. 3. I’ll never understand why developers don’t get this simple concept: If I’m not on your app, you have zero chance of earning money from me. The cost of playing each game costs so many coins that I stop playing after about 10 minutes. I then leave to go play a game on another app. Better choices: Play ads after each game. Offer a one-time fee to allow the user to pay to play without ads. Offer frequent “sales” to purchase coins at screaming deals (I play another game that offers these huge deals every 2-3 weeks and they generally earn a little money from me each month. That adds up with a greater volume of people purchasing). So much potential—not meeting it yet.

Rigged game. I love this game but I’m deleting it cause you clearly just want people to buy coins. The offline game is ridiculously fixed and not fun at all. At least make it to where you can win coins…even if it’s a smaller amount than online. This whole “gift” every hour so you turn around and play ONE rigged online game for them to be gone again is dumb! I can almost predict how every online game go and what cards will turn over for the others vs. mine. When I never hardly get a Skip-Bo but the fake players have them all in order and several Skip-Bos. At least don’t make it so dang obvious!!!! How about give 1st 2nd and 3rd…4th place winners coins instead of just one winner! So many things you could tweak to make this game better to keep people playing often, but the developers do nothing. I’ve been reading the same complaints for a year and nothing has changed.

very disappointed in a game i love. i love playing skip bo but my favorite part about the game is the adventure map . i normally don’t have any issues with game play but during this last challenge (baking ) every time i complete it i’m awarded coins but the game freezes the 1st time it did it i reluctantly uninstalled it after waiting 2 days for it to start back working . i reinstalled it and unfortunately had to start EVERYTHING OVER which was frustrating because i had finally gotten far . but anyways i completed the challenge again and the game froze AGAIN . i am not looking forward to starting over and currently not enjoying the game like i used to because my favorite part is malfunctioning. fix it please

Stacks and Coins. I am a avid skip bo player taught by my grandparents and I was so excited to download this app - especially that it can now bring my aunt in Colorado, me in southern Ohio, and my grandparents in Central Ohio together to one virtual card table. HOWEVER now that I have seen that it cost around 800 coins to start a game with friends that is only a stack of 10 cards is pretty disappointing. When we’ve played a game of Skip Bo with partners or solo in person, we would would make our Skip Bo piles 30 cards! Leaves room for strategy. 10 cards is WAY too short of a game time especially when the system “shuffles and deals” out huge runs as often as it does. Still a fan of the game but want to see more appeal towards a balance between quick fix and long play players of the game.

Story Mode Issues. I’ve been playing this app for months, it’s a lot of fun. I really enjoy story mode and playing the mini games to collect extra coins, characters, and other free in game items. My complaint is that when playing story mode each level should be able to be completed if you use your cards properly. Some levels you have to play 6,7,8 or more times before you can beat it because the game doesn’t give you the right cards in order to move on even if your smart on how you stack your extras to use correctly. I understand Skip-Bo is random cards in a deck when playing against the computer or with friends but in story mode the computer should provide you with proper cards that you need to use in the right sequence and be able to move to the next level so long as you stack them correctly in your stash pile. Replaying the same level multiple times and paying coins each time is unfair and makes it not entertaining. That’s really the only complaint I have, if that can be fixed I’d be more than willing to raise my stars

Great game, but can only play for a few minutes before coins run out.. I really want to give this a better review because the game itself is amazingly fun. The app itself is beautiful. Let me also clarify that I don’t mind paying a fair price for an app. I don’t agree with people who think every app should be free without ads. But Skip Bo has taken the tactic of “pay to play” to a new level. If you want to play the journey like most folks do, you’re going to have to spend a lot of money buying coins along the way. You can spend $9.99 to get roughly 18,000 coins, but they’ll literally be gone after fifteen minutes of gameplay regardless of how skilled you are. They’ll give you around 1200 coins every 60 minutes, but that gets you only a few rounds because the amount of coins it costs to play a single round in the journey is 1150 coins by level 3. It gets even more frustrating when you realize many rounds are not winnable without buying “power ups” (that cost thousands of coins each) because you’re not dealt the needed cards to have cleared the board regardless of what moves you make. I hope Mattel will bring their gameplay costs more in line with other apps with a similar “journey through the levels” format.

Stupid. You have to pay real money to redeem the coins that you earned in the game?!?? That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. You’re not getting any of my money. Update: the developers responded to my original comment. Yes the piggy bank takes all your coins from all the mini games in the app and you have to buy them to get them out of it, after you’ve earned them. That’s what I said. Also they are required to play the game because you need coins to play all types of the game except for offline. So eventually you’ll run out of coins and be forced to buy out your piggy bank. Our only play the offline game. It’s the worst design I’ve ever seen. You shouldn’t need to spend money on it just to play the game, this isn’t Vegas.

Game preview. This game is somewhat fun. Most of the time you don’t even get the cards you need. I can fail at a level because I need a certain card and it was never in the deck. If I take a break while waiting for coins, I play the offline version. It’s a joke. I always get a duplicate number of cards while your ig players always have cards they need. And the worst part is they will actually help each other just so you can’t go. It’s a strategy I know. I love when then they actually screw up. Anyway, work on the game. It shouldn’t be one where people have to spend a lot of money. Your events are really hard to attain and I’m one to never give up and it’s still hard. Not everything should be about money to get to a goal especially in a game. I’m probably going to delete the game and move on.

This game is rigged to try to empty your pockets. I love skip-bo, I’ve been playing the physical version since I was a kid. So it’s unfortunate the mobile version of the game is ran by crooks. The game is rigged to make you lose once you earn a certain amount of coins without spending money. The cards your opponents draw are NOT random, unlike when you play the physical version because they’ve been shuffled. The game chooses when it wants you to win and lose. This way you lose all your coins, so for those that want to binge the game will have to spend money to do so. Pretty smart tactic because a majority of people can’t see through the scheme. The players you play against when you play “online” are not real players. My advice, stick to the physical version of the game. The owners of the app don’t have your best interest in mind, they just want your money.

Is the game rigged?. I play Skip-Bo the old-fashioned way with my family and on this app all the time. It’s become one of my favorite games but I have noticed that this app seems a bit rigged. Nine times out of 10 one of the computer’s digital characters will have runs of their decks that are just way too good to be true, going through 8-9 cards in their deck of 10 in one round PLUS smoking through their deck of cards and having to draw more. Obviously the computer characters win waaaaaaaaay more often than seems coincidental. I very rarely get a run of my deck more than 3-4 if I’m lucky. When I play with my family, with real cards, these issues never happen and we play a lot. Seems like the game is rigged to favor the computer is an extremely biased way.

Honest feedback. The game is fun but to play but it makes it so hard to get coins and playing online is the best feature of this game. When I run out of coins I will probably delete the app because it just is not the same playing without them. The main frustration I have is when you play online you can make 2000 coins (even tho u pay 1000 coins to play) but you play against two other people. So where does the other 1000 coins go? You should be making 3000 coins because you only have a 1/3 chance at winning and a 2/3 chance at losing but instead tou only make 1000 extra for winning. Thus pretty much everyone is losing coins while playing this game even if your really good it’s likely you won’t make a lot in coins from playing online which so the best part of the game.

Shameful excuse for a Skip Bo app. I grew up playing Skip Bo with my family. My partner’s family also did, so we play it a lot in our house. It’s one of my favorite games. My partner and I used to play the old Skip Bo app together for hours and hours, it was perfect, we paid for the premium edition and it was amazing. Then, it went away and we were really bummed. Then, this came out, so we gave it a try, but we’re very underwhelmed… only options are 5 or 10 stock cards?! WEAK. Micro transactions? ULTRA WEAK. So we deleted the app. It’s worthless to us. I just downloaded the app again after a long time to see if they updated it to make it better, at least give us the option to have bigger stock card piles… Nope. So I’m deleting it again. If you like Skip Bo and don’t wanna be limited in the number of stock cards you have or be hoodwinked into spending money on stupid coins, just download Skip Solitaire- it’s free, simple, easy to play online with friends and family, and you can also choose to have up to 30 stock cards. It does Skip Bo much better than the official app. If I could give this app zero stars, I would. Sincerely, a 30 year old Skip Bo player who has been playing the game as long as he can remember.

Fun game. I love skip-bo and was happy it is available here. The online play is quick and times out if someone takes too long which is great. I do find that sometimes the cards seemed stacked and a player could have a run of plays back to back which seems unfair and suspicious. The map games aren’t my favorite. I’m a pretty good card player and it’s difficult to get 3 stars. The coins earned are very low when it costs over 800 coins to actually play. I like how I earn coins every hour so that’s helpful to play online play. Overall love it but just wish the map play was a little more fair with the points earned/coins won.

Absolutely Obsessed. I started playing this game while I was pregnant with my son. I soon got very obsessed with it. I finished chapter after chapter then ran out of chapters so I went back and got 3 stars on every level. While getting 3 starts they came out with the egg hunt and another couple chapters. It took me 10 days to get all the eggs. I play it while my son is eating and sleeping. I love that you get coins every hour it’s probably the best thing about the whole game. I mean I have definitely spent my fair share of coins on it to get no adds and some money here and there. I have currently finished every episode with 3 stars I wish there was more chapters to play. Other then that I love this game!!

Mini Games. Please STOP FORCING us to go through the introductions of your lame, boring, and mind numbingly stupid mini games!!! If someone is so inclined to play the mini games, they can click it on it. From there they can get the tutorial of how to play it. I absolutely HATE this new development of being FORCED to go through the tutorial of your lame brained mini games before being able to actually play the game I downloaded that I wanted to play, which is Skip-Bo, not STUPID mini side games!! Knock it off and put it back to optional!!!!! It’s bad enough that your game cheats, but now we have to put up with FORCED tutorials before we can even play the actual game!!!! DISGUSTING TO THE MAX!!!! No, your response doesn’t help!! It’s the stupid review of your mini games that is killing the fun!! STOP FORCING us to go through the review!! Previously we weren’t forced to go through the review, now we do!! It’s absolutely AWFUL! STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!!

I LIVE THIS GAME!!. I love this game so much it’s so much fun. I play it with my family all the time. Sometimes the even get tiered playing it with me. But how we play is it’s all the same besides a few things. 1. the stacks we have to get rid of to win it has 30 cards. 2. two of the stacks are 1 to 12 then the other 2 stacks are 12 to 1. Then 3. My last one. Skip-Bo’s can not be used as 7 it’s ok if u want to screenshot this and try this way with your family. I achally want u to do this with your family. I think it better this way then it’s achally played. I will tell u that it does take longer to play this way. But that and a few others make it fun.

Thieves. I bought the ad free version of this game and up until a couple weeks ago all was well. Now all of a sudden I have to watch ads to play the offline version even though I have paid for the ad free version. I reached out to customer service about this but all they did was give me the run around about how they are testing some new features for the offline game and blah blah blah. Did not address the fact that I shouldn’t have to watch the ads since I paid full price for the game. My advice, if you download the game don’t waste your money to avoid the ads because it doesn’t matter, you’ll still have to watch the ads to play. I’m not talking about the ads they offer you for extra boosters. This is specifically ads to PLAY the game. I requested my money back but they won’t refund me. They are thieves.

Great but needs new levels!. I was so excited to find that this app exists shortly after discovering the card game. I love it and appreciate seeing that developers have added ways to earn coins after receiving comments about how difficult it used to be to earn coins. I’ve become so addicted to this game that I speed through the adventure levels. The new update says that it comes with the squirrel home event as well as new levels; I have gotten the home event but no additional levels, still at the end of Chapter 11. I’d love if new levels could be added so I can continue playing to actually earn acorns for this event.

Scammy App. I realized I had 900 coins so I went to the levels page and played a game and realized i was still at 900. I thought to myself that’s weird but played another level giving me 100. I then realized it had started me at 800, reducing my true coin count by 100. I ignored it and tried playing the next which would give me 600 coins. Still being at 900, I thought no way i wouldn’t have enough coins after this but, i started the game, and on the top right my coin count was 300. After that I closed the game, deleted it, and came to write this review. To force players to buy coins as their only alternative to the money they receive by gifts is unfair and is frankly not a good business strategy. To intrigue your players to spend real money after they have unfairly had 800 coins taken away from them is not the smartest solution.

Waste of space on phone. Skip-Bo is a lot of fun and I love that game but the app is trash. You can only play if you have enough coins and are barely paid out if you win. Many times you run out of coins and unless you feel like paying for coins you can’t play. So the free app is not free if you actually want to use it. You have to spend 700 coins in adventure mode to maybe win 723 - so risk 700 coins to maybe win 20? Or you can play online and risk 1000 each (3 players or 3000 pot) and only the winner gets coins and 2000 so the app makers are taking a 1/3 rake and that’s how they get your money - I’m sure people do buy coins but at this rate you will always lose and need to buy more coins. Oh and I have to watch ads that are long and require multiple fake arrows and x’s to close or pay .99 cents to remove ads - It’s a Racquet but I’ll spend my time on another app. Deleting today.

Good but…. Skip-Bo is one of my favorite card games, so I was very happy to find this app! However, the “adventure” mode (where you move up the path, achieve new levels, and earn fun rewards to use in the mini-games) is NOT a traditional game of Skip-Bo. It’s a Skip-Bo-like game where you’re playing solo and attempting to clear the board. It’s kind of a mix of Solitaire and Mah Jong, frankly. You can play the traditional Skip-Bo game - the part I LOOOVE - only in “play offline” mode. This mode simply consists of play a round, win/lose, repeat. There are no stakes and no rewards. I wish the traditional gameplay were available in “adventure” mode, like in the Phase 10 app. Oh well. I love the traditional gameplay, so I’ll continue to “play offline”. I hope it doesn’t get boring without the fun of risk, earning, and mini-games.

Used to Love It. I’ve always loved Skip Bo and was excited to find this app. I’ve had it for over a year and played practically daily. You can choose to play online against others or offline against the computer. Within the last few weeks, something has changed with the opponents while playing online. They are making stupid moves like wasting wild cards, putting out cards the next person needs as if to help their opponent and missing opportunities to win. I don’t feel like I’m playing against humans anymore. Even when I’ve played offline against the computer, these types of errors didn’t occur. It’s like I’m playing against some strange AI instead of people now. It’s unsettling.
