Solid Solitaire Game. Really have enjoyed this game, solid gameplay and graphics plus the daily challenges keeps me interested. Couple of curious things though while playing in the app: (1) Some of the daily challenges ask you to complete something in under a # of seconds, but the game is measured in minutes? Lacks consistency currently. (2) I now have 200+ coins with nothing else to work towards until the new decks are released, so maybe an adjustment in the rate of coin payout is needed, or additional buy in challenges?

It’s Solitaire, but…. Review #3. Star rating stays the same because you win some and you lose some. New interface is annoying and the categorization is lacking coherency. Also, when you play the daily challenge, it’s cool. Unless you complete a challenge and it puts up a claim now banner that doesn’t do anything. So you go to claim your daily prizes and you get kicked all the way back to the main screen where you have to scroll down, swipe over and reopen, just to go “point” and then you’re booted again. The stories are inane!!! Still!!! The only good thing about the story play is that a) according to you all, every story game can be won (and you’re mostly right…there was one I played 30 times and never got it…and I play this game well) so there’s that knowledge that if you lost it’s because you messed up and not the game being impossible. Also good therapy when you’ve been handed enough losses in a row… And I DO NOT need an update every hand that about my high score of the week or what rank I am. If it changes, fine. Once at the beginning of a session is fine. Still love playing it, but come on…some of these issues should have never come to production.

Update’s led to glitches. I love the basic game of solitaire. Add the story element, and you can’t go wrong. With cute animations and sound, it’s a solid game. Of course, I was excited that a new story has been added with this latest update! But along with the update, the app itself has begun to glitch. It can happen in-game or on the menu page. The game will freeze and next thing I know, I’m losing seconds towards my timed-games and I’ve mistakenly tapped thrice, playing up my hand. It’s really frustrating and I have considered trying the whole uninstall to reinstall- but then I lose all of my progress and I doubt it would be enough to fix it. Just a bit of shame. Would be an easy 5-star otherwise :(

Visual pleasing game with some annoyance. I love the visual and story aspects of the game. The music and themes are on point. These features allow me to repeat the games without being boring. There is one major complain from me. I have been playing this game on my ipad and iphone and have experience multiple cloud data sync issue. Once in a while, after opening the app, it asks me to choose between two versions of the cloud data. I usually pick the newest one and end up losing some of my progresses. This had happened multiple times and gotten me frustrated. Hope this can be fixed soon

Story mode is fine. Quick play is impossible.. Let’s start off with the good. The stories and the animations are very nice. There are also a lot of unlockables, which you can get just by playing. Now the main issue I have is with quick play. I’m not sure if I just won too many games and it ramped up the difficulty or what. I often lose several times in a row and it is often caused by ONE wrong move. You can literally know that you goofed up by flipping over the wrong card. You literally can’t recover and no, I don’t want to press “undo” 20 times to go and choose the other “correct” column. Please fix this. I’m not sure why quick play has to be that difficult. There is no way to set the difficulty on quick play and most of your coins will come from quick play. Yes, I want to open the game and earn my coins for unlockables but honestly, I try to avoid opening this app and more than likely, when my Apple Arcade runs out I won’t be renewing. Devs, please don’t respond by saying that I can change the difficulty of the story mode because that’s not what’s causing the frustration.

What happened???. So this game has been one of my absolute favorites ever since it was launched. Every time new content is added, I’m thrilled as the game play is fun and the stories have been a unique twist to a classic game. However, after this most recent update, the game freezes up quite often. At one point, when I flipped a card from the deck, it stayed on the “?” back so I had no clue what the card was. As I tap cards every few seconds, they will stop and get stuck until the iPad catches up. I have an iPad Pro 11.5 so the game should play (And did prior to this update) smoothly and without any glitches. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. I hope this can be fixed with a future update because right now the game is pretty unplayable for me. Thanks.

Starts Fun then it starts to freezes more and more. I loved the game, the stories are fun, different each time and hooking. I was planning on playing all stories then start doing second and maybe third playthroughs. However I stopped that plan and stopped playing the game altogether. The game started to freeze every now and then. First it started as little unnoticeable freezes but as time goes, the freezes became unbearable and I started to loose interest in the game especially since the game have a timer and rewards you for completing a game quickly. Having said that the game itself is its own demise for me. I shifted to playing regular card games because I wanna wind down not get frustrated by a game continuous freezing. Before someone jumps to conclusion about how ancient my iPhone is, it an iPhone 13 Pro Max, with 256GB storage of which 170GB is free. Yes I also tried restarting the device and closing all other apps in the background. It is not the device, its the game who’s at fault.

Issue with latest release. Have been enjoying this game for several weeks now as it’s a great way to pass the time playing solitaire. The decks are diverse and I like the difficulty settings However, the latest update (either the iOS 15 system update or the update specific to this game) has caused a noticeable glitch when playing. When tapping the deck, sometimes no card turns over, and when I tap it again, two cards quickly turn over, causing me to have to reverse to get to the card that was skipped over. Looks like there’s a bug where the first tap isn’t being registered until I tap the deck again for the next card.

Great solitaire game! But…. This game is creative and colorful, there’s also a competitive edge to it as well. It performs well as far as a mobile game goes and they seem to have a good amount of up-coming ideas for the game, potentially. Fact is, I have a crap ton of coins and nothing to spend them on but I still find myself completing daily challenges regardless. However, since the new IOS update, it seems like this game has become laggy and glitchy. It’s almost like playing with a deck of somewhat sticky cards. You go to draw one card and get two instead, but this is only happening when drawling from the deck. The other thing that happens it just straight up lag when tapping cards or moving cards around. It may not seem like a huge deal except it royally harshes my mellow. When I am speed running these really slow me down. And sometimes I’m just really into the game and am on a roll, but can’t be on a roll because glitches… Anyways, please fix this. I will update stars hopefully soon when it’s fixed.

Very fun and creative, but 1 annoying thing. I’m a long time solitaire player and have tried tons of solitaire apps, usually becoming bored by the same classic styles. So I’ve been thrilled by the really creative themes in this game, and although some are hard to play just because of readability of the cards they’re still fun to try to see the art work. And this game has kept me playing with the new themes added periodically. The “daily challenges” have been something that’s gotten me to play…you guessed it: daily, and has been fun having 3 challenges each day to earn points, even if I don’t care about what the points can do at this point. But for some reason when you redid the menu design you made it harder to get to the daily challenges and harder to do a 2nd or 3rd one in the process. And annoying when you complete more than one at a time and have to go several steps to claim the 2nd one. In the most recent update the “claim” button when you win a challenge doesn’t even work, so for any win you have to go back through the menu to find the challenges area just to claim it. If you don’t want us to play the daily challenges, then just get rid of it. Otherwise please fix it!

Was Great, Now I’m Indifferent. I loved and still love this game, great art styles and stories. It took my love for card games, especially solitaire, to another level. I literally play the game every single day since it’s been released. However, out of no where my game has been lagging. At first I thought it was my device, and I was weary about it because I have the iPhone 13 Pro Max, so I know it can handle any task. After multiple restarting my phone and closing the app, I realized it was the game itself. It really has turned me playing the game everyday to once a week hoping for a update to come through and fix the bugs. I hope you, the developers, can see this review as well as the others that complain about the lags and delays and really get a true fix on it. Thanks.

Wonderful game with some small issues. First off, this is a super solid solitaire game that the devs seem to really care about and put quite a bit of time into. The designs are great, the animations are smooth, it runs well, the stories are cute, and it’s just good solitaire. I’ve run into a few bugs so far, specifically some related to the daily challenge not recording correctly, the auto complete not displaying when it’s supposed to, the undo button lagging significantly, and a few other things here and there. However, the devs seem to be actively updating and some of these issues may be known or fixed. The only other issue I’ve had is with the apps accessibility. Each of the story missions have stylized cards, which all look wonderful and fit the current theme. Unfortunately, a few of these cards either don’t take into account color contrast or include near unreadable fonts. This leads to having to use these difficult and frustrating cards to progress in the story modes. Overall great experience with a few problems here and there.

SOME FLAWS. UPDATE: The latest version seems to make certain aspects of the game worse. As other reviewers here have noted, some of the card designs are really problematic in terms of being clear what the specific card denomination is and even differentiating from another card in the same suit. It's a case of art over function. It's also entirely unclear what the "Iv" score means (does it advance one in a game some way or designate an accomplishment or level)? That' never made clear. The user interface and navigation also quite clunky; it's not very easy to find the story level you are on when returning to a game. Playing the actual game is enjoyable enough--Solitaire is pretty straigtforward. But the developers really seem to rush out updates without addressing the shortcomings players are calling out in the reviews posted here. ========= Are construtively criticl reviews still allowed? Thisis my third attempt to post a review. First, the latest update seems to no longer recognize the levels I have completed, nor show the next levels up. Also the indicated difficulty of a particular level doesn't seem accurate (more random). In the previous version--and I don't know if this has been fixed--some of the card designs make distinguishing between cards difficult. This is especially true of the ski level where the "knitted" cards are hard to read (i.e. the 10 and Queen look too similar).

It seems like something is wrong…. I do pretty good with solitaire, but the frequency in which I fail to clear the deck in this version seems abnormally high. I have a different solitaire game that lets me play “winning hands” only. And I clear about 70% of those without getting stuck on the first try. I’d have to tabulate but in this game I think I’m at a point where I am only clearing about 15%. This doesn’t fit with the fact that 90% of true random shuffled deals should be winnable. This also keeps me from retrying hands because I don’t have any incentive to try again because it there isn’t a clear way to tell if it’s not a winnable hand. I’m not sure if the game try’s to give you harder hands the more you play, but it seems like you are doing something that makes it less winnable that a real deck of cards so I keep going back to the other version. The cads and game story are beautiful, but there is just something about the play that discourages me from coming back. Lately, even worse is the crashes on competitive play (at least with spider). Fix it please.

I’m hooked on this game. Hands down one of my most played games. I love the graphics and the SFX. I dig the stories and all the options from different decks to all the custom settings on the back end. Only one problem I’m stuck on the Trouble on Mt Tubular story. I got to chapter 4 and when I try to play the first game the app glitches and I can’t play. The skip button appears in the top right corner like it’s trying to show me story line slides and I can’t do anything but go play the chapters I’ve already cleared. Still a 5 star game for me though. I’ll give it more stars when I can complete that story lol.

Solitaire Stories. It’s solid solitaire, with satisfying animations and sound design (save for some of the more … grating background loops). Everything feels pretty good to interact with. It’s not buggy. Can’t complain too much, and I’ve put a good bit of time into it. Only thing I’m knocking the rating for is the hints could use some work (e.g. might be nice to know when something becomes impossible to solve). The inevitable “however” bit, I think, comes from my own expectations going into the thing. When I saw the Solitaire Stories title, I imagined a bunch of creative alternate rules to match a story beat, or maybe some tailored minimalist scenarios to puzzle out based on character actions, or a gradual introduction to advanced techniques (if there exist such a thing), and so on. Unfortunately, all of the stories amount to “this thing happened. Now go play two games of solitaire to see the next thing.” Repeat. It would be unfair to ding the overall rating based on something I cooked up in my head, but it does feel like it could really be cool someday.

Same complaint as everyone else. I play solitaire a lot like the character in the first story - every spare moment, I’m playing a game. I downloaded this one for a new challenge. And I got that, I guess. The story games are frequently unwinnable. Where I’m winning most decks in the other solitaire game, this one I struggle to pass even the early story levels. I only played a few hours before getting frustrated and deleting the game. Their algorithm has got to be off. I retried the same deck multiple times, being careful to try different options and still could not beat them. I like the art style and the idea of the game. But rather than being a fun, relaxing game to play in my downtime, it quickly became a source of frustration.

Jan 2021 bug. iPhone 13 Pro Max, sometimes the stack cannot be clicked to pull more cards and I have to kill and restart the app then continue where I left off. The last time it happened an achievement popped up then went away, then I couldn’t click the stack. Overall a nice version of solitaire. I’m not very good so I set the difficulty the lowest and I notice the card shuffle having variable complexity. I will win a couple in a row and think maybe I should up the difficulty then the next couple games give me harder combinations, noticeably more difficult than before. I find this frustrating because it feels like auto scaling and I can’t tell if I’m ready to advance or not. But it’s still pretty fun. I wish there was a “Fable” style deck.

Too hard after chapter 2?. I can say that I am a really good solitaire player. However, the way this game is designed, it is just too hard after chapter 2. I am barely on chapter 3 and there seems to be asbolutely no way to beat chapter 3 at all. I have played it several ways and it always ends up the same with about the same cards hidden that you can't even get to. I absolutely hate games like this. They make it so difficult that it appears unbeatable. This makes these types of game no longer fun and thus I will be deleting this game and no longer playing it. the only, seemingly, way to win is if you use a hint after every move, and I don't like using hints because, like I said, I am a good solitaire player, so I don't need them. This game, however, is not developed with fun or solitaire in mind. Just a horrible game that has a needless "story" that is made too hard. Get rid of the "story" and bring back tranditional solitaire and I may come back.

Fun game, wish there were better themes. I love this game, I play it a lot and luckily haven’t had any of the crashing issues a lot of others seem to be having. The stories are great, some of the artwork is beautiful, but I had to drop it to 4 stars because most of the stories, and all of the new ones, have cartoon-themed decks with characters from the story on them. I just wish there were more “aesthetically pleasing” story deck themes. There are a few that are really gorgeous, but I don’t like the cartoon themes and there’s not enough variety to make me motivated to play as much. I know I can play with my own customizable deck with more options, but I enjoy going through a story too.

Disappointed in Design. The design of the cards and backgrounds make it too difficult to play because mistakes are made from not being able to readily see suite differences. For example in the classical music theme, which I was excited about, the cards are a watercolor spotted effect of dark burgundy and gray/black that look very similar. They’re also on a dark background where you cannot tell if there are more cards underneath the stack still. And then it get worse. A wood background, with cards that are white on wood or wood on white, no black or red or even just two colors that appear in contrast to each other. If this was an assignment in even a mediocre college 101 design class these ideas would have been thrown out week one. I have no idea where Apple is finding these “designers” but the number one job of a designer is clarity in communication. I really expected more. I love listening to classical music when I play, but I cannot play those songs on the normal deck of cards, which is quite sad.

Solid. Not for a quick game.. I’m no solitaire expert, but the game plays well and looks nice from my standpoint. The stories idea never caught on with me, and I just want to play a quick game of solitaire. This doesn’t do that. Between the Apple Arcade intro, the game studio name, an opening loading screen, an animation of cards flipping and swirling … you’re spending 30 seconds just trying to get to the deck of cards. (That’s the nice route if you don’t get any weird iCloud sync issues). I don’t want to ping it too hard for not being quick … the gimmick here is clearly the stories that aren’t for me … but if you just want a nice-looking, quick game of solitaire, I’d look elsewhere.

OBSESSED. i can play this solitaire game all day everyday and i pretty much have since downloading it. So much so that i have unlocked everything from the prize pod and have completed almost all the stories three times with the exception of two stories im trying to wait to unlock and play through until more get added. please keep adding new stories and unlockables in the prize pod! this is by far the best solitaire game i’ve ever played and i have played so many. when i said i could play this game all day long i really mean it!

Not bad, but not great. It’s attractive, the stories are charming, and the story concept itself is really clever. That said, this game just winds up becoming an interminable slog. The first couple levels of each story are very easy, and by the end it’s deal after deal after deal after deal… I gave up at 50 deals for one step. I get that the deals are supposed to get more challenging, and that every deal is technically winnable if you make the one exact set of moves that winds up being correct. But I’d challenge the developers on this: if a deal is mathematically possible but winning is perpetually improbable, what part of that should we find fun? You’ve put lots of work into making the stories engaging, but the core mechanic is just tedious.

Only issue is the pop ups. I want a quick game so I open up the app and then I get a barrage of banners, one after another. None of which are useful, or pertinent to the game. I can’t play until they all stop, and I can swipe them away, mute them of turn them off. Now I’m not having fun, enjoying the game. It’s just added irritation and frustration because I can’t get it to stop. I want a small break from stress to zone out for a few minutes and play a game. I find myself playing less because I know I’ll have to sit through 10x banners one after another that are distracting and frustrating. So today, instead of playing I’m writing this because after the newest update they are worse. Then I’ll quit and probably not bother until I forget how annoying it is that a fun game now just makes me mad.

Great game, but….. I just wanted to say that I think it would be a good idea to after the ‘feeling stuck?’ Thing shows up, if you tap keep playing, you should be able to use a limited (like 30 or so,) amount of hints until the screen pops up again. Because when I use hints, sometimes I don’t see where the sparkles show up and I have to use more, and, it gets kind of annoying when I know I’m not stuck. I just think that’s a good idea, and it’s an overall great game!!

Great game! Small issue.. I really enjoy this app! I’ve played solitaire before, but not a ton. I hated dealing with ads after each game on other solitaire apps and playing with real cards wasn’t convenient . However, playing with this game was much more fun! I enjoy all the different styles of cards and stories to go along with them. In addition, I enjoyed having different difficulties of games to make it more interesting or challenging. The music, sound effects, and animations are all great, and make this game super addicting! I only have one problem with the app, and that’s with the hints. They work fine most of the time, but I’ve noticed that when the game wants you to pull down a card that you’ve already stacked with your aces, it shows that as pulling down a new card from the deal. This can be confusing if the hints are telling you to pull down a new card, but none of them will stack. All in all, it’s a really fun game and I would love to see more content added!

cool game but has issues. I really like a lot about this version of solitaire but have three basic issues/nitpicks. the biggest is that not all of the “solvable” games are actually solvable if you select “3 cards” vs. the “1 card” option. For example, I played 3 card draw with winnable selected. at start of game only 3 moves total were available: two aces each as the top card of a tableau column - I moved these to foundation. Only other move available either on the tableaus or from the stock pile was a three of clubs card which I moved from stock pile to tableau. after moving those cards I received a warning that no further moves were available which I double checked. I restarted multiple times and verified there were no other options available. I’m not new to solitaire and it’s not uncommon for me to replay a single game of 3 card klondike for hours until I’ve solved it on other apps with winnable deals. That deal might have been “winnable” on one card draw but it wasn’t on three card draw… and if one isn’t, that’s not good. second issue is some of the cards and backgrounds are ridiculously over-illustrated to the point it’s challenging to make sense of the visuals. third, at 60fps this game taxes an older ipad which seems very silly for any solitaire game. it’s a minor quibble but annoying. the flashy animated “wins” aren’t worth it and the 30fps is jittery. I know that’s a lot of negatives but it IS a good game. just needs some tweaks to make it perfect.

Fun and charming, needs some improvements. It’s games of Solitaire presented in a level progression package. While it sounds simple, I’ve enjoyed my time with it. It would be nice to see the hint system get some improvements. Most of the time if I’m out of moves it doesn’t tell me and just has me cycle the same cards. I’d rather know I don’t have any moves and start a new deal. Also I feel like I have to restart often. I’ve been playing Solitaire for a while and often it just seems like the cards are not in my favor in this game. Other than that, I’ve enjoyed my time with it.

Slow and freezing. Haven't played in a few weeks. I come back, the game has been updated and it's horribly slow. It lags and soft freezes during gameplay, where the images stop moving but I can still control things and the arrow is visible. After an hour of that it hard froze my 2020 MacBook where my only option was to press the power button to restart. I hate apps that do that. Therefore I deleted the game and I will not come back to trying it again someday. Truthfully the game itself looks very nice. But I dislike the long boring stories and the rigged aspect. Solitare, if real, cannot have difficulty. It's based on how the cards are shuffled. I don't like a solitare game with hard difficulty so I have no choice but to lose several times over. Done with it.

Great game but some bad fonts.. This is a really great game overall. The artwork on the various decks is top quality. The only issue I have is that some of the decks use barely legible fonts for the numbers. This is can cause quite a challenge on the iPhone, but it still isn’t great in the iPad. Additionally, some of the decks use a very low contrast between the red and black cards. Sometimes, the initial deck is quite usable, but the variations are quite illegible. Additionally, the card you see when deciding to purchase a new deck is not always indicative of the entire deck. I really love one of the early decks that I unlocked, but almost every new deck I have unlocked is practically illegible, which makes playing the stories quite a slog.

Fun but has issues. I do enjoy the game but I’ve become annoyed with the way the game displays. I first tried to play with my phone in the normal position but when I would press the card deck for a new card, it wouldn’t do anything. I’d have to press a couple times to get a new card. I then switched to playing with my phone sideways and that worked fine until a couple days ago when everything is like zoomed it. I have tried closing and restarting the app. Sometimes it works. Other than those issues, it’s a pretty fun game.

Battery hog. I’ve been playing digital solitaire ever since Windows 3.1, so I really wanted to like this app. I idea of stories and difficulty progression was a good idea. Is a good idea. But the app itself is insufferable. My iPad is only a few years old and can handle quite a bit still, but it apparently can’t handle this app. I get a black screen every time I try to change the card deck (via the pause menu), forcing me to restart the app and try again. Most recently, deck selection caused my entire iPad to crash and restart. The app has also blown through my battery in comparison to other Arcade apps. I get about 2 hours on this thing from a full charge to 15%. I don’t get it. The main interface is also not great: initially, you get a view of many small decks of cards, many story options. Once you tap a single deck to see more about it, though, you’ll never be brought back to that first, expansive view ever again. You’ll need to — you guessed it! — restart the app.

Changed my opion from 1-star.. I disliked this game initially. Deleted from my Mac and tried other Solitaire options. I even found one that I like. But I came back, and this time I noticed something I hadn't noticed before, even though this app runs on my Mac, the interface was designed for an iOS device with a touch screen. On my Mac, with my keyboard and mouse, I expect pull down menus, etc. I was surprised when I accidently click-and-dragged on the screen. Now, I like the game, especially the classical music. But I stand by my original complaint, the initial card design is fugly.

Latest update fixed my gripes!. Edit: My major complaint originally was that the Apple Pencil didn’t work at all. I’m glad to see that the fixed it and it works very well. I’m finally getting into the game and I’m enjoying it so far. I’ll probably update with a more detailed review once I get further in. Normally I write really long detailed reviews, but I’m so frustrated this time I don’t really want too. I have a newer iPad Pro with the version 2 Apple Pencil which I use for lots of my apps. This app doesn’t support the Apple Pencil. At all. It literally has no response to any tapping, dragging, or anything. I find myself opening up the game, pencil in hand and wonder why it’s not working after several taps, thinking it’s dead, only to remember this is my only app to not support it. I have played it, but I have other solitaire games that work with the pencil and are still solitaire. I admit I don’t see myself playing this one until the pencil works. I don’t normally write harsh reviews, but Im confused on why a card game doesn’t support the pencil. The graphics are nice and so is the gameplay, so I’ll keep it installed in the hopes it updates with pencil support and I’ll re-review it.

Best solitaire on the App Store. This game makes the most out of solitaire and has nice visuals. Overall very good experience. Could use some improvements in user interface: Some story decks are barely readable and yet you’re forced to play with them. I wish the main menus were more organized instead of just random cards everywhere. And i wish there was somewhere you can see past results for daily challenges. If you don’t play on consecutive days you just get nothing and see nothing.

Illogical Story Puzzles. Decent game, except that it claims that all story levels are beatable. Technically that’s true, but the only way to do so is to play through until you reach a block and it prompts you that you’re stuck, then undo every move until you can move a card you didn’t before. The problem is that the moves you’re undoing are completely logical and nobody would ever intentionally not make them, unless you knew what cards were where. For instance, if you have a King blocking 6 cards and an empty slot, you should always put the King in that slot. The only reason not to is because you know, without any way of knowing, what cards are under it. So if you move that King, you’ll eventually run into a block. The “correct” move would be to keep the King there and go through the whole deck again until you find a different King, then put it in the empty slot. So for illogical and unforeseeable outcomes, it gets a 1 star from me.

Rather Enjoyable but could do with improvements. This game is fun, appealing on the eyes, sfx are great, story was cute, voice acted, and entertaining. However there are improvement that can be made. I noticed there are only 3-4 shuffle variations at each chapter/stage of the story mode. If you can’t beat a certain shuffle and select new game and continue to do this on the same chapter/stage eventually it recycles (this could very well be by design). Claiming daily cards screen stalls after pick, it should also navigate back to the list where you claim instead of the main menu or, better yet, just go directly to the next daily challenge claim screen if you already satisfied the requirements. All that being said I’ve played as much as time has allowed since release and completed the story mode. Will go for completionist achievements.

Still laggy after post-iOS 15 update. This was a pretty good game. The stories are corny, but I liked the variety that each theme brought with it. Then came iOS 15, which made for a very laggy experience that’s unresponsive to multiple taps. When it does respond, it gives you multiple cards, depending on how many times you tapped trying to get it to behave. I just installed the latest update, which was supposed to address the lag and responsiveness issues, but there’s still more work to do. It initially seemed more responsive, but I still have to tap multiple times to draw new cards, especially. It seems like there’s a sweet spot on the draw pile, where it’ll react normally. Otherwise, it’ll take multiple tries. The only positive is that it no longer gives you multiple cards when it finally catches up. Now, i recognize that iOS 15 is a bit of a trash fire right now, and I’m seeing lagging performance all throughout the OS, so I don’t want to place all the responsibility on the dev (hence the 3 stars), but anything they can do to get back to pre-iOS 15 performance would be greatly appreciated.

Great version of a classic. Recent update has seemed to resolve all issues. Glad to return to playing the game. Great job fixing these big issues. Can’t wait for more features and updates that could be added. Patch 1.4.2 is makes the touch issue worse. To get a new card it would lag. Now you have to swipe over the deck to have any chance of it working. Now the touch issue has spread to other cards on the main playing area. Please fix. This game was a great take on a basic game but now worth playing. Hopefully will see update but till then will not be playing.

Enjoyable, addicting and really fun Solitaire game!. Solitaire is on of my favorite card games, when I noticed this in the arcade I got excited for it. Looked like it had potential lol. So far I play it for little bit after work to clear my mind and before bed almost every day sense the game come out. I wasn’t sure if it would be like most other Solitaire apps where it get to a point and you can’t win or they get borrowing and have no cool card decks to chose from. Anyway great, fun and relaxing game! Please keep updating, so far the new one is pretty cool!

I keep coming back to play.. This version of the game is a lot of fun. I enjoy the cheesy stories and the daily challenges are the reason I keep playing. It looks great and the mechanics are pretty good. My only issue is there is no great explanation of how the scoring works. It seems that the quicker your are the more points you get but at the same time the more moves you make the more points you get. This seems counterintuitive because the faster you are the fewer moves you are likely to make. Some how there is a way to maximize your score by being fast and making lots of moves but the game does not explain how that scoring works. Other than that it’s really fun.

It’s Klondike solitaire and that’s all. Seems like a waste of effort.. Sure, the visual presentation is more elaborate than in the windows solitaire that has been with us for decades. Sure, the SOME of the music is nice; though I really did not appreciate the clumsy cutting of the first movement of the moonlight sonata. But, the stories add nothing; in fact they can be annoying, depending on the player’s mood. There are no unique game modes. It’s just Klondike solitaire. You’d think, maybe, there’d be puzzles or unique goals. No. It’s just Klondike. If you don’t already have a solitaire app, this one is as good as any. But if you do, it’s not worth the download.

Not at all liking the last update. Before this most recent update, it was so easy to use and see where I was and where I was going, just by swiping. Now, I have to go to the menu to find the daily challenges, and every time I claim one and it goes back, it goes back to the top, rather than the page of daily challenges. I cannot find the story mode I was working on. I see 3 or 4 icons on the top, which are all stories I have completed and don't really want to do again. The rest seem to be below this, however, there seems to be no real way to get to them. I've tried swiping, I've tried every option in the drop down menu, negative. I can get to the row of what appears to be all the stories if I go to the menu, down to the daily challenges and contest, then click on the bottom of one peeking at me from the row above. Again, cannot find the story I had started, and it is a HUGE hassle to get there. Guess I will be looking for a different solitare game.

Amazing. I will need to readjust my parameters for a 5 star rating after this game. I waited to review after I played for 6 mos +. If you are a Solitaire game fan, I recommend this game for you. As always in the Apple Arcade, no commercials or hassle during game play for additional money. One point I would like to highlight is the Music. Each Solitaire adventure and bobble you win brings with it a new melody. It is an amazing and enjoyable experience for the enduring game of Solitaire.

Beautiful solitaire game! +an idea for the developers. I love this game so much and play it literally all the time! It’s seriously a coping mechanism for my ADHD and depression at this point! It’s so calming while also so fun in such a creative way! The only thing I think would make this game better is if there was a way we could interact with other players that also enjoy the game. My idea (which I encourage and give consent for you to steal and use) is to make a part of the app where we can post our custom deck creations maybe in the same way as like Instagram or Pinterest so that it can be used for inspiration for your own deck.

Unbeatable quick-play. Nice game design and animation. I didn’t care much for the story lines, but all story modes are definitely beatable - just keep trying. My biggest problem with this game is that quick-play games will hand you an unbeatable deck sometimes. More often than not I get decks that you can’t clear. I also wish there was an easier way to get to the daily challenges screen without scrolling through a ton of story modes/decks. I’ve noticed that I won’t be able to get daily challenges unless I click the daily challenges screen each day. Kind of annoying, wish it would register on its own.

Great New Twist On A Classic. This game is great and adds some depth to Solitaire. I appreciate the level of detail that you can unlock to customize your deck and the mini stories. A feature I would like to see in the future are Spider Solitaire notifications for when you’re out of moves. I also would like to see the game run a bit snappier. I feel like it may be sluggish in spots like after winning the score takes a bit to pop up at times. I look forward to this being my new go to Solitaire app!

one of the best games on apple arcade. this game is fantastic! everything about it is gorgeous, and the progression system makes it really addictive! my only request is to be able to save multiple custom decks. with all the styles I'm unlocking there are so many potential combinations I want to use! I also don't understand why the prize machine can only really be used once a day... I'd rather it cost 50 every time or something than have to wait. to regardless, this is one of my favorite apple arcade games! ♠️❤️♣️♦️

Great graphics, relaxing gameplay. UPDATE *** Love the new spider solitaire update! Similar to Churchill solitaire but without the alternating suits. It’s great to be able to switch back and forth between spider and traditional, and super nice that they made it a little easier to get to the game play settings! I absolutely love the newest theme, it’s sunny and looks hand drawn, just what I needed. I hope they continue to focus on the artwork, and pretty pls moar prize ball items! ❤️❤️❤️ I love this solitaire game. You can play either a single game or a series of games in a “story” that gets progressively harder. My original complaint was that there weren’t enough stories, and they added more stories! Albeit with some odd choices for celebrity voice actors (Jane lynch was a great choice, but the writing was kinda blah). Honestly I don’t really care about celebrities, I just want more stories to get through AND more items to “win” from the ball machine thing (when you get the game this will make sense). I’ve acquired all of them, and I’d love more, or the option to create my own somehow. And please, just spend the money to pay developers to make more stories. Preferably with animals. It’s a great solitaire game, good graphics and sounds. Would just be nice to have more. We are still in a pandemic and this is one of several apps I use to escape from the anxiety and stress of the dumpster fire that is our world.

Great game. Awesome game so fun to play, love the card design’s

Worth a tap. Solitaire with a pay off is great. Could do with some more playing but enjoyable Update 12/2021 fantastic new cards, can’t get enough

Great game. Little bit glitchy at times but otherwise beautiful game and a wonderful story mode :)

Dizzy. Something about this game makes me dizzy. I don’t have this problem with any other app or game I’ve used, only this one. I have played solitaire my whole life, I love your game, why is it making me dizzy though? I can’t play!

Good game play but terrible animation. The game is great but it does this thing where when you touch a card the image sort of wobbles or waves like water. It is terrible on the eyes and makes you feel a bit sick after awhile.

Fun but buggy. Interesting take on solitaire but rather buggy - freezes up on my iPad and I have to lock / unlock screen to continue, achievements don’t unlock in story mode.

Updates. The latest updates are all glitchy, was working great before this update,,,,

review. 5 star good game relaxing

Delightful and relaxing + Now Supports Apple Pencil. This is a really pleasant and polished game. From cool visuals/designs for decks and overall aesthetic to nice and satisfying audio for card selection & placement. Choice of background music is great, I personally enjoy playing while Beethoven’s piano sonata 14 in C sharp minor is playing. Very relaxing indeed.

Fun easy start increasing difficulty. Normal rules but also a fun story mode that is all winnable but gets increasingly difficult as you progress.

Thank you. A great game. Great look. Great ease of use.

Animations used to be smooth. Play this a lot and in the past two weeks or so it’s become a stuttered janky animated mess. Really disappointed with this change.

😁. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁perfect game

game. I cart cepe playing my story

Love it!. Amazing gameplay very immersive and can’t wait for more levels! Great work!

I love it. No ad. Play everyday.. Fantastic solitaire game😍

Cool stuff. Really good

Looks great!. This game looks great and I'm excited to try it. It works fine on my TV, but on my phone it exits out before it's even finished loading. I think once or twice I got to a menu and then it exited? I've tried restarting phone, force quitting app, delete/reinstall app and no joy. If nothing else the promo videos look very eye catching and I would love to play pretty solitaire soon. :)

Worth playing. It's a slick looking game, with pleasing game play, graphics and music. The navigation trips me up though. Find it difficult to learn and remember how to move between decks / challenges.

Poor performance on M2 MacBook Air. Love this game, but unfortunately seems to run poorly on new M2 devices such as the MacBook Air. Animations and clicks don't seem to register and freeze frequently during games. Please fix this and I will happily increase my rating.

Problem with update. New update now takes up to 6 taps for a new card to be revealed from the deck. So much lagging previous update had no faults

Love Solitaire, but not low vision friendly.. As a person with low vision so many games are unplayable due to graphics. Some of the card decks are just too hard to see. Can you please have an option to make the card faces bolder and easier to read and still have character. Thank you for taking this onboard. Kindest Regards

Best game ever. I love this game so much, me and my partner play it every night before bed.

Times events don’t work. I really like this game but every timed event always says the event has ended even though it’s only just begun. Seems a bit glitchy

Beautiful. Beautifully illustrated with cool animations and a story mode like no other. Best solitaire app out there. Would be great if there were hints available during gameplay, especially when you’re stuck. That’s my only criticism. Love this app!!

Such a fun way to experience solitaire!. The stories make this game engaging in a way that other card games don’t. They are often cute or amusing little stories. What I would love to see is an option for a basic card style. I love the variety of cards and unlocking new deck styles, but sometimes the options available make me a little dizzy. I’d love to be able to switch to ‘my deck’ or a basic style until I unlock the next deck style.

Solitaire fun. Great version of a classic

Very impressed.. Smooth, relaxing and a lot of effort put into variety.

Been loving this game until version 2.0. Sunk quite a few hours into this game. Love the story modes and the competitions. Some of the card styles are a bit hard on the eyes. But most are great. However with version 2.0 it now freezes for a second every few seconds which makes it very frustrating to play. Hope it gets fixed so can keep playing

Fun. Fun

Very refined and smooth game!. Extremely nice to play however I can’t seem to find a way to change between themes that I have unlocked for the individual card packs in story mode?

Looking for a decent Solitaire?. You found it here.

Fun to play, but very janky on a Mac. In-game play is fine, but it's really hard to drive the interface outside of game mode. You can just see some elements off the bottom of the screen, or up off the top, but they are often impossible to access from the trackpad.

This Game Was Great. I loved this game but since the recent update it is terrible. It lags & freezes.

Terrible Quality. so buggy, unstable network, minutes queue online. unacceptable designs.

A little buggy sometimes, but generally good. Sometimes I find after using rewind I can’t move a card that should be a legal move.

Lovely game but events not working. I love this game so much but unfortunately the much advertised events do not load or work. They show up as ‘event ended’ even while the event is supposedly run and the App Store displays the event as happening now. So disappointing. The worst thing is the event shows up every time you log in, so not only can you never play it but it reminds you every time.

Thank you for a small something to do. Playing this game has certainly made a difference for me after work and travelling home

Disapointing. Takes too farr long to load. It should not take over a minute to load, then a minute to load your preference of choice. It crashes on a regular basis. DO NOT RECOMMENDED it is a BAD Choice for ARCADE and makes Apple Look BAD Using Apple M1 Silicone

Probably fun. I enjoy Klondike and a Story Mode one sounds fun. But I’m red/green colourblind and the red is too close to the black in tone on the two default decks. Sure I could save up and buy other decks, but the game is too tiresome to play when the colours are that close. Klondike is something to do while listening to other thinga and shouldn’t require full attention to play

Love game not tutorial. A bit confusing as I have been playing Klondike for years.

Enjoyable mechanics and amusing stories. Enjoyable mechanics and amusing stories

Decorating cookies event. Is just unplayable. That frosting effect in the cards makes it really hard to read number and understand where a stack begins. Please fix this.

Really great for starting out. I’ve grown up with everyone around me playing Solitaire and just never gotten the grasp of it. This game not only gives you everything you need to learn with difficulty settings that actually make a difference but the entire app looks and sounds great. Everything from the stories themselves to the gameplay makes you want to come back everyday. Great game and one of the best quality ones on Arcade. Highly recommend

Bugs. My favourite game ever i play everyday but recently the app hasn’t been loading. not sure if it’s because i updated my phone to ios 17 but i can no longer play the game☹️☹️☹️

I love this game aside from one thing. I absolutely love this game. I never thought I’d appreciate playing solitaire as much as I do now. It’s well balanced, and I thought long and hard to find an issue with this game. I managed to find one though, which is the only reason why I put four stars. I also want the devs to hopefully see my review. I would like for the stories to not restart their progress automatically. Here is what I mean: when you finish a story and get the last chapter, you quit to the main menu. When you come back to that deck, you’re back to square one again, but without the opportunity to update the badge thing. I find that it would be better for the progress to never restart unless you press the button yourself. Because of this, I replayed one deck a bunch of times to get more coins but I missed the opportunity to have the different badges. It’s no big deal, but it is a small detail that could possibly make this game perfect. In my eyes at least. Thank you for taking the time to read my review!

Random lags. Random lags 1-2 secs, multiple times in every minute of playing.

Pls fix bug. Great game!! Game crashes often though and is up to date. Please fix this bug!

Could be a good game,.... Could be a good game, however if you get stuck on a game and ask for a "new game", it's not actually a random new game. It's a repeat game from a small pool of games. And if you get stuck on each game in that pool of games, then you are permanently unable to continue. Why would there be such a small pool of starting postions? Is it bad programming or do the programmers actually want you to be stuck permanently?

Fun Game!. If you like solitaire, you will like this game! It’s just cute. There are many variations of card sets and stories that go along with them. Really, it’s just a fun way to play Solitaire!

Lost the event.. I just updated to the latest version and have completely lost the undergrowth event. It only shows the next event starting on the 30th.

Bugs not fixed yet. Still black screens and doesn’t get past loading screen. Talked to support about it weeks ago. Still no patch fix. Very disappointing. Maybe less events & actually fix your game…

Great game! All time classic!!. Love the game mechanics and controls. So easy to use. Widescreen mode is great too.

Great Looking!. Really polished and fun to play.

Lovely game, but this one achievement. I adore this game. It runs smoothly, the soundtrack is comforting, and the stories remind me a bit of those story books you’d read to children without being repetitive. I only have two complaints. The first being that some of the decks and backgrounds are very harshly colored, and they do cause some issues with eye strain and headaches when playing for long periods of time. My second complaint is this one achievement, tactitian 3. I understand that maybe I’m just not good enough at the game to get it, and if thats the case so be it, but I feel like I’ve tried everything to win a game in under 100 moves. I’ve replayed deals that I can tell come out to a low move count upwards of 10 times trying to beat this achievement and the closest I’ve come to it is 109 moves. It’s frustrating and has left me feeling like it is a non-attainable achievement because again I’ve tried everything short of writing down what cards are in what stack. Other than those two minor complaints, this game is great.

My favourite Solitaire game. I've played several Solitaire games, and this is the one I come back to the most. Great for passing time when I should probably be doing other things. The stories are silly, but a fun addition. The competitions and challenges give you something new to do every day, if you'd like. Lots of deck designs, etc., to collect. It has been fun to see the game evolve over time, with things like the recent Spider Solitaire mode.

Please allow mute button. Hard to think such a simple decent game doesn't allow a user to mute sound and music. I often play simple card games while listening to music and podcasts. Have not found a way to do this with this app.

Gives dead decks. This game was great until it kept giving me dead decks. I used to get one or two once in a while, now it’s every single game. Not fun to play anymore :(

solid solitaire game; stories aren’t for everyone. enjoyable game play. skip the rest.

Always starts at beginning, NOT CONTINUE!. Learn to code. I’m paying for this. Continue means continue from last visit not start from beginning!! Junk

Nice game, but not all games are winnable. Koodos to developers for a nice game. But not all games are winnable. I know in reviews someone has mentioned it and developers replied saying that all games are winnable. I came across a game today where unfortunately I could flip only one card and then the game stuck. Perhaps a bug in algorithms, would be nice if developers could look into it otherwise I’ll just finish the stories mode and switch to another solitaire

Lags for 1-2 seconds. It lags for 1-2 seconds, as you can tell by the timer. It’s horrible and I’ve lost a lot from it because you’ll click twice because it lags and then you lose cards or mess up!!! Ridiculous! Even with 30 or 60 fps :(

Looks great but huge turnoff. The game looks fantastic. I love the artwork and the sound is very nicely done. That’s the only positives I can give it right now. I love solitaire but this ain’t it. I’m on the very last story and it took me probably over 100+ retries to get there. Devs, please read this carefully, nobody wants to play solitaire that is this frustratingly difficult. Your story mode even suggested that you understand this. Solitaire is played to pass the time, not to make you upset that it can’t be solved after 10+ tries. Having played this for hours, I can’t recommend this to people. You need to make the game easier. Also, there are grammar mistakes in the game. 2/5 until you make it easier. Tried it again a few weeks after release and it’s still frustratingly difficult.

Still has issue. Have to tap on some buttons twice to get a response. Enjoy playing except for this bug. My previous review reporting this seems to have been removed. Update: the latest update (1.8) seems to have introduced a flicker during animations, as if the ProMotion feature of the iPad Pro is no longer supported. This is making the game unbearable on my eyes, and I can no longer play it. Please let me know when it’s fixed, so I can try playing it again. I really can’t play it like this. Also, I still have to tap buttons twice.

Nice gameplay, terrible menu. A strange juxtaposition of very polished core gameplay and a really baffling main menu that is so unintuitive to navigate and find different modes.

Broken Scrolling. Can't scroll up/down.

Fun game, super buggy. Trying to change the settings can be buggy and cause a system hang (I have a brand new MacBook so it's not my computer). But other than thann I really enjoy it.

Can’t finish a tripeak game. When you beat the game it sits on the completion animation but no matter what it do it won’t end. Have to kill the app but you lose all progress. New iOS 17 bug?

Competitive Muliplayer Mode. This game is a lot of fun to play and a tad adictive. The multiplayer mode is competitive and challenging, The theme games are interesting. Graphics and sound tracks are amazing. Seems a lot of Developer and Design attention went into this game. The only thing missing is a way to socialize or chat during multiplayer mode i.e. I am curious how some players are able to finish multi-player games so quickly.

Rigged. Rigged multiplayer. You get dead decks or a bot beats you just as you are about to finish. Horrible ux. Annoying notifications that purposely pop up while you play to disrupt gameplay.

Surprisingly good!!. I was skeptical at first because I find Apple Arcade games rate lower than the pay to play game, but this solitaire game is fun! I recommend playing with haptic feedback so you can experience the full effect of clicking on the cards. Cute design, no bugs so far, the menus are a bit confusing but that’s not the main attraction . ☺️ cool rendition on an otherwise common game

Good but there is a bug. There is a story that when it arrives to a chapter 4 first game, when it try to star and make the little intro story it freezes and never gets to the game. so sad, please fix it is the more Pixelated Theme story Thanks

Cool. Fun

Love the stories and deck designs.. Would love to see more stories and deck designs.

Good game. I like them game ; however there’s not too many ‘stories’ yet ; and they just kind of , end? I’d like to be able to use certain decks all the time but you have to go into the story to use them. Please add more stories soon!

Good game!. I like the game as it is played fast, and the ratio to wins to losses is equitable!!

great fun. great way to take your mind of things

Nice 👍🏻. Nice game that I like.

Causing motion sickness. The static pulse when a card is placed on a house pile and the winning graphics are too much and cause motion sickness; which means I can’t play as much as I’d like. I wish there was an option to stop this.

Great game except latest version doesn’t load. Great game except latest version doesn’t load

Nice online play. Spending lots of time playing solitaire and wished I could play against my friends in a private game online. So fun.

love the game but... So my first review the issue got fixed, now it seems i can change cards deck in settings on the mac i can on my iphone but not on the mac when i play. and its also buggy when trying to move through the menus. i really do love this game hope all the bugs gets ironed out.

Buggy. Occasionally cannot move Ace of Spades to second empty home pile.

Alright, but…. For a Solitaire game it does its job well. The stories are somewhat inconsequential and don’t really tie into the game at all, but are a nice enough bonus. The only issue I’ve really had is that if you reach a dead end in a game, it will tell you that all story games are winnable, so I restart the same game and try to play it differently if it should be beatable. After several failed attempts I get frustrated and use the hints to dictate every single move to show me what I’m supposed to do, and it still hits a dead end. So when it says every game is winnable, it’s lying. Some are unbeatable from the get-go no matter what you do.

Glitch. It’s fun but out of the sudden everytime I try to open a puzzle it freezes so now I can’t play.

Great game!. Issues have been fixed, I’m happy. It’s a great game and I love it!

Music. Im so in love with this game, like really in love with it, but the only issue i have is that i want to find the music from the game, but’s not available in any streaming music app. I wish they upload it on apple music, since the game is from apple arcade. Any other than this it’s amazing. 🫶

Glittery. I just started playing today so I don’t have the full picture yet but I find the glitter and starbursts a bit hard on my eyes. I also find some of the decks hard to read.

too simple, lacks features. Lacks a lot of features that other versions of soolidaire have, it is a big buggy and hard to click around.

Undergrowth Event?. I updated the game and completely lost the Undergrowth event. Is this gonna be fixed?? Doesn’t look like I was the only one

Bad version!. Seriously bad version of solitaire. All games end up in a dead end. I started over at the easiest difficulty when the game prompted me I have no moves left for 10 times! 10 times! I play regular solitaire for 15 years at hardest difficulty with no repeats! Fix your game…

I love this game!. I’ve played for a few years now and this is one of my most enjoyed apps. I like playing the stories, doing the daily challenges, events, and completing achievements. With the addition of the chance to do missed past events the game has become complete for me!

Usually super fun, but having a problem. This game is usually my go-to at night to help me relax and unwind. I love the events and all of the options for deck customization, but this new event is almost unplayable for me (Decorating Cookies event). There’s a weird glow to the cards that makes the numbers practically unreadable and I have to guess what’s what on occasion. And it’s not all of them, and it seems to only happen once I click on a card to move or play it, then that entire stack becomes like that. Very upsetting as I haven’t missed playing a single event since I downloaded this.

Almost great. On iPad, this game is lovely to play. I like that I can simply tap on a card and it knows where to go. The designs are beautiful (I do struggle with recognising some of the card numbers when stacked (specifically Queen and 9) On Mac, this game needs A LOT of work when it comes to navigation. I can just scroll using my magic mouse. And trying to find the story I was playing last is tricky. I have to say I do expect better quality and overall more integrated features from an Apple Arcade game. This part is disappointing... Overall I enjoy playing the game but that's because I enjoy playing solitaire. If there was another solitaire game I think I'd be playing that rather. 4 / 5 rating from me I would rate 4-5 if the UX on Mac was better

Useless. The number of popup hints and tips and "hey this button here does the exact same thing it does in every other frigging app you own but we want you to feel supported so we just interrupted your game for the fifteenth time to tell you about it! Aren't we awesome?" bull makes actually playing the game so staggered and stuttering it can't be enjoyed. And this is AFTER the 27 billion screen tutorial that you can not bypass, skip through, or just opt out of, as if you probably had never ever in your life played or seen someone play the single most popular version of solitaire in the world. Apparently we're all idiots to these developers.

Frustrating.... Those who play solitaire games are tipically the "old school". That being said, I am old and wise enough to say when a solitaire game is frustrating. Despite the good graphics and superb music, this games takes the soul out of you because it gets you to dead ends 99% of the time. This is not about difficulty, but a game not well coded. The algorithm does not help you at all, since you can try playing the same game thousand times, you will always get the same result, dead end. Btw, I only use the quick play and not the story mode thing which doesn't make sense to me.

A fun and highly customizable solitaire game. Loved playing this version of Klondike - cute 'mini-stories' keep the game interesting and there are so many things to unlock. You can customize just about every graphic aspect of the game with lots of cool options. Hoping for more stories and other solitaire types (Pyramid, Spider and Free cell seem like obvious choices). This is one of those games that will stay on my phone for a long time to come!

One complaint. I really only have one complaint for this game. Some of the decks make it really hard to focus. Maybe that’s the point? Maybe my eyes are just that bad? But some of them actually hurt my eyes! I had to stop playing one of the stories because it was messing with my eyes so bad! Otherwise, I enjoy this game a lot. I usually play when I need my brain to shut down and not focus on every thing else!

Just like any other Solitaire game. I was hoping this would be more complex than just basic Solitaire with a few backgrounds. The story has absolutely no bearing on anything and can be skipped without consequence. Unfortunately, it isn’t entertaining either. The animation is kind of diverse and interesting, but, again, limited. Solitaire has been done a million times and this does nothing to stand out. Super bummed. I gave it three stars simply because it’s still a functioning solitaire game.

LOVE this game…but it won’t open after 15 update. This is my favorite Solitaire game, by far! The graphics are gorgeous and I really enjoy the pack varieties. However, after this most recent iOS 15 update (15.0.2), the app will not open at all :( I haven’t been able to play in over a week and I was playing every single day :( This app is not the only ARCADE app that I am having issues with after updating to 15.0.2 either. I hope it gets fixed soon because I really miss playing.

Love this game until recently. This is I've of those games I love to play whenever I have some free time. I love the artistic card decks and the competitive play options. With the last update something has happened though which makes it difficult to play... When I'm doing a Quick Play with my custom deck or playing multiplayer, the top part of the cards fade out so it's hard for these old eyes to read the cards. I've tried closing and restarting, I've tried changing decks... nothing seems to resolve it. Makes me sad :(

Great game and graphics… But the game Center pop-up is beyond annoying. There was an update in early September and since then I am receiving interrupting pop-ups about ‘what’s new in game center’ every time the game is opened, or after my screen wakes up. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and I still get these prompts. I’m signed in, I don’t care very much overall about gamecenter, and this is the only app on or off Apple Arcade to be this bothersome. Please fix this so I can go back to hours of gameplay :-)

Addicting new way to play a classic. I love playing this version of a classic game. I play every night before bed. I have one major complaint, and it’s the reason I only gave it theee stars. The graphics are clever, vibrant, and brilliant. And I love the story modes. Unfortunately, some of the card styles and graphics make it difficult for my eyes to focus. The story “Trouble on Mt. Tubular” cards have been especially difficult to focus on and make out the identifiers. I’m a completionist nerd, so I’ll power through, but these graphics need a little more thought put into them.

Bad all around. Illogical deals, glitchy and poorly implemented difficulty levels. Don’t bother with this one. The difficulty levels consist of illogical deals that have nothing to do with skill and are all about ending your moves by throwing up roadblocks that no reasonable person would consider. Technically winnable deals but only if you play without a brain and bypass logically moves. The only way to win one of those deals is by undoing all moves and basically starting over just to switch that one move that no logical person wouldn’t make. The cards glitch and “lag”, your phone gets too hot and it kills your battery life. Save your time.

Great Solitaire (Update). Prettiest solitaire ever, and a rather funny story. That was then… …this is now: One of my favorite games, but should we really have to wait months (minimum 3 months each time) for new levels to be added to an Apple Arcade game? We all PAY $$ for Apple Arcade. My thought was that I’d be able to play a game I really like every day if I want to. Not so with this one, that’s for sure. Shame on the developers for stringing lovers of your game along. And, shame on Apple for letting slackers be part of your PAID app. Disappointing.

Much improved.. At first I had a lot of issues with the game, whether it’s difficulty or seeming lack of decks but they’ve been consistently dedicated to improving and expanding. I think the reward coins are still a bit out of balance in terms of earn rate vs cost but I have faith in the team. I wish them the best and look forward to see what is to come for this app.

Disabled people do in fact deserve to live. Great game as far as gameplay goes but read the stories and after a few you’ll notice how many pot shots the writers like to take at disabled people. I don’t consider myself particularly sensitive or easily offended, but after the first couple of times it becomes pretty apparent that someone on the writing team hates people who are disabled, and seems to like making fun of invisible illnesses to boot. Like if the jokes were funny it’d be one thing, but it feels like some dude venting their frustrations and trying to guide it as a joke. You know the type, the one unfunny dude in the group that keeps saying slightly inflammatory things and nobody wants to be around. It’s disappointing, but what can ya do?

Gorgeous game. I love this version of Solitaire. It’s such a pleasure to get a new deck/story. I appreciate the weekly challenges. I wish there was an option to save some custom decks, and turn off some of the effects—especially the most recent weekly challenge’s powdered sugar effect that makes it almost impossible to play the game because the only identifiers are at the top of the cards and they get obscured by the powdered sugar effect.

Please Fix Bugs. I’m not sure what happened; but, this game has become more than a little frustrating. 1. The lagging animations take away from the experience of a great looking game. 2. What’s the point in having an event if you can’t even play it? How is the event completed 3 days before the displayed last day? I was lucky enough to have it correct itself last night, but here we are on the last day and I can’t do anything.

Great graphics and overall gameplay. It’s mostly pretty intuitive, and I really enjoy playing. I do the multiplayer option a lot and I don’t know how most of the people I’m playing against seem to rack up points so fast. Is it a game lag? Are they somehow cheating? Am I just way, WAY slower at solitaire? It’s a mystery. I also wish you had the option to retry the daily challenge, even if it doesn’t count towards your score. I want to figure it out regardless of the ranking!

Great game, but issue from last update. I like this app and having a blast, but the only issue is that music isn’t playing when not playing a story game. I have try ways to fix it with deleting, redownloading the app, etc., but it’s still not working with the music when playing in quick play mode. I really like some of music and want to hear it, without having to play a story game. Hope there be some kind of update in the future that can fix this small issue.

Stuck. I've played with game for some months now and have not had any issues up till know. After i played a round my screen got stuck on the coin winning and a message popped up on it. Saying that i'm not able to continue with out internet. Everthing else work on my computer and all other games even ones that reques internet access work just fine. So this is the only game saying i dont have internet. I've removed the game from my computer and erased all date on it to retart it. It still comes back on and showes i need internet to play.

Solitaire with solid goals and cute design. This charming story-based solitaire game takes the classic to another level. Play games, earn points, and unlock additional stories that give context to an normally stoic card game. I’ve played hundreds of games so far and I’m still enjoying this arcade download with frequently added story sets. If not for the slightly clunky auto-complete feature and some hard to read card faces, I’d give this game 5 out of 5 stars.

Klondike Storytime Solotaire. The stories that go along with the card game make the experience more fun. I’ve been playing for a couple of weeks now and in the beginning the cards flowed smoothly along with the story. This past week though the game has been “glitching”. I’ve even deleted and re-downloaded the game to see if that would help. It hasn’t. Its actually frozen up a couple of times and the only way to re-start the game was to delete it first and download it again.

Fun game; sometimes glitchy. Hi I love this game and have been playing it for some time. The stories are fun and cheeky. I like playing the spider version most. However lately in multiplayer the game crashes during the tournament. Also the daily challenge hasn’t been loading lately. Fix these few issues and the game will be 5 stars! Also I really like the events and I think getting the backgrounds and effects from the event would be a really nice reward for completing the event.

Well Crafted, Enjoyable and Relaxing. This is a really cool version of solitaire, I enjoy playing this game when it’s time to unwind after a long day of work or when I need to pass the time waiting on something. I would definitely recommend this game version to solitaire enthusiast all over the world. \\ BUT! // I would like to see some updates in the near future, such as; better card graphics, more optional choices for playing card designs Optional choices for graphic backgrounds. Updated music playlist that appeals to all player groups.

Love it for idle time. I enjoy picking up this game whenever I am bored. It’s entertaining for me. I guess that I am confused though. During story play it says you unlock different deck themes, so I’m wondering what they are and how to use them. If the pictures that pop up when you unlock them are anything to go by, I never see them. So what gives? Edit: figured out you can swipe in the pause screen to change deck looks. Not something obvious when you play in landscape mode, which I do. LOL welp.

The music is great!. This apparently needs some tweaking for iOS 15, but I have to say one of the things that has really caught me is the music for the various games. It’s hard not to play this without the sound on! The stories are good, the gameplay is easy. It gets a little laggy at the end of the games or returning to the main menu, but it performs good on iOS 14, so I’m guessing something changed in the OS that the game is having trouble with.

Volume and Data Issues. I’ve really enjoyed this app. The art and stories are really cute. However, I had the app on my iPad and then downloaded it on my phone and lost on my data on both. I had completed all of the stories and several events. I’ve also encountered problems with the volume; I can’t get it to play sound on my phone. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, which caused me to lose some data yet again despite being backed up on iCloud. The music adds a lot to the gameplay so it’s a big bummer.

Great app overall - but wishing for a volume dial!. This is a great app! It has funny stories and great graphics, along with a whole host of other game modes and features. I also like that they allow you to play your own music in the background, and turn off their music! (I’ve used solitaire apps that would turn off my music whenever I opened the app.) I do wish they allowed you to turn down the sound effects - sometimes they’re very loud compared to my music!

Too Much Like Real Cards?. I’m playing story mode, so you’d think the cards would be somewhat stacked in your favor, but they’re not. I don’t have time to play a hand over and over and over to get through a chapter (that’s rated only level 2 difficulty). The rating of a hand makes no sense to me. Might be ok for a one-off game here and there. Can’t recommend buying it for story mode alone. I was expecting a little more from story mode too. Some RPG elements would have been nice and warrant a purchase so you can improve your stats instead of letting luck of the deal take over. Hard pass for me.

Music story makes me cringe. I tried the game hen it first came out, and wasn't thrilled with it, the recent update gave me a chance to try it again. It has broadened a whole lot since the beginning. My one big gripe is the incorrect depictions in the Story about the musician. Minor annoyance: she's teaching herself piano, but carries around a violin. Major annoyance: The stories logo uses a backwards Treble Clef to portray the letter S. I don't know why it bugs me, but every time I see it, I want to delete the game.

bug fixed for IOS15, a everyday go to game. Update: in game slow down bug has been fixed! Thx! There will be a small learning curve on the new flip style, as it is become sweep the card instead of tap the card. It dose slow down the speed of going though the deck a bit. I am sure I will get use to it, just now, a bit silly mind every time when I tap it and the card is not moving. This is sweep take some time to learn. Still have a small delay when the game is complete. Like after all the card up to the 4 slot, the reward dashboard will show in about 3-5 second. But the card flip on the 3 daily challenge is much quicker! Appreciate the update!! Thanks again!

A rather retro game w/ a fancy skin. Klondike and Spider are both classic solitaire games that deeply integrated into my childhood. This game gives it a refreshed look, and make it more immersive. However, there’re some fundamental problems that I must point out. I’ve experienced occasionally stuttering during my gameplay. I tried to kill and restart, but it didn’t help. It’s rather annoying especially when doing time rush. I’m using the latest iPhone model, so I expect this to be a software issue. PLEASE FIX THIS!!

Not all story hands are winnable.. I don't care what the dev states. Not every hand in Story mode is beatable. I'm on the second to last hand on very hard and after 2 hours of restarts, backpedaling etc all roads lead to multiple dead-ends. There are necessary cards buried deep within the last three decks that are impossible to get to no matter the combination. It appears that the algo will deal an unwinnable hand 1/99x. I don't "feel" that it's unbeatable. The hand was statistically impossible to beat.

Favorite game. This is probably my most-played game on my iPhone. I pay for Apple Arcade just for this game. I like the nice graphics, the actual game and the look of the app. But when the heck are you going to update this for the Dynamic Island?? I play often when I’m listening to podcasts and this is the worst thing about the app! Please update asap 🙏🏼😬

Game is pretty, gameplay is aweful. Imagine playing solitaire where the cards are never shuffled. That’s what this is like. I like having all the different color cards and unlocking them and the story is cute, but playing this game is just so infuriating because it’s like every shuffle it is the same cards and you cannot get them all done because you can never match the right ones. Every round I play it’s like it’s all of the same card over and over again. Can’t believe I rage quit on solitaire. They need to fix the RNG shuffling.

one of the best games on apple arcade. this game is fantastic! everything about it is gorgeous, and the progression system makes it really addictive! my only request is to be able to save multiple custom decks. with all the styles I'm unlocking there are so many potential combinations I want to use! I also don't understand why the prize machine can only really be used once a day... I'd rather it cost 50 every time or something than have to wait. to regardless, this is one of my favorite apple arcade games! ♠️❤️♣️♦️

Great Solitaire Game. I have been looking for a good solitaire game that is easy to play and doesn’t make my phone glitch out. I really like the addition of having a story mode, it really gives the one person game more of an interesting experience. I am really happy to play on this app when I’m just trying to pass the time quickly and it keeps my mind occupied for a while. I would definitely recommend this game if you also love solitaire but want something that’s more than just increasing in difficulty!

Great game.. except for one visual detail. I love this game and play it all the time. I just don’t like the foggy white effect that covers some cards. I have poor eyesight and the foggy white effect makes those matches very unpleasant to do. I was looking forward to doing the gingerbread event, until I realized that it has that white effect that covers the cards. I can’t see my cards through it and I’m a bit disappointed now.

Amazing! But…. I think that this game is absolutely amazing! It has great graphics and phenomenal playback quality. This is definitely my favorite game and I have been playing it for several months now. However, I find myself isolating a lot more than before and neglecting certain tasks, it really is just that good of a game! I wish they had added a few more features but other than that amazing game!

Best Solitaire on the App Store. Absolutely great with a wealth of content. My only complaint is that prior to this last update, I would be able to background the app in the middle of a game and come back to it hours later, but now it seems that if I background it for more than five or so minutes, the app closes and I have to restart the current game. Not docking the review for this though, because I’m not sure if the prior situation was intended behavior.

Would love option to change rules to customize my experience. Very fun, good animation, great aesthetic. The thing that would push this to 5 stars is if you could customize the rules for story mode and quick draw. Specifically, the ability to place non-king cards in empty slots and to build either one card above or below as long as it’s an alternating color (like in the old school computer solitaire). However, I can tell they put a lot of care in to creating this game and it’s very enjoyable.

Wish it didn’t throw “beatable” in your face. Like some others have said, I am sure each story mode game is technically “beatable”. Still the way the game touts it sounds like you will never hit a frustrating wall, but that is absolutely not the case. I feel they were so worried about people crying that its not beatable they remind you constantly that the game is “beatable”, so then when you don’t beat it a couple times in a row you wonder what exactly you are not getting.
