Maybe not for me. I’ve used the app for about an hour or so. It’s obviously not meant to be a traditional “game” as the creators have said. It feels as though after the first 30 minutes I was going through the motions of getting new icons instead of being fascinated with the art style (which is very good). The repetitions of each animation cycle were starting grate on my nerves—but maybe I’m just in the wrong frame of mind for a “toy” like this. Time will tell. I’ll keep playing and I hope my experience improves.

Expect the unexpected. Look, I don’t know what I was expecting but I can definitely say, not this. You will never know what’s coming next and you will never predict it in a million years. That’s why I love this app so much. Truly a masterpiece. Genius.

Love this game. I wasn’t sure what I expected at first but then I kept going and it turned into a fantastic game I hope you have more coming it would be nice to have another board or more boards after the first one thank you

Seed game. I thought this game was weird like really weird and I loved it it was very amusing to see each path that you could grow with a seed also it was one of the strangest games I’ve seen in a while

Love this game!. This is such an amazing game. There are so many different outcomes and you get to try all of them. I do think that the age rating is correct, because it is a little bit grotesque. I love the animation styles and the way some of the animals look. Again, I love this game!

Best free game!!!!!!!. This 30 minute game was more than I thought it was. It was a funny and great game for anyone bored! Although some parts are gross like the brain smoothie or the animal parts egg. Some parts where you have the rubber duck. You choose the person holding a knife. And you mistake a knife for a bird! If there were ten stars I would choose all of them!

I’m Still Laughing. Mitoza app is an example of “Good things come in small packages”. Every choice results in a different outcome and those outcomes are hilarious! If you need a good laugh, download this app; it was created by a talented team of creative, imaginative people with great senses of humor.

A cornucopia of binary choice. Install or don't? A pot or chick to germinate the seedling start? Carrot pointing up or down? Delete sooner or later? A game or a toy? A modern nickelodeon minus the 5 cent charge. I have no feedback as far as technical or art; it's very well executed technical art that rewards curiosity with humorous events based on pathway choices. But that's it. Some of the events come across like they have a satirical comments being made about the object or humanity; some come across as purely lol random xd humor because a solid idea didn't blossom from the set up preceding the new event. I'm only left wondering if I've played a low-level game mostly focused on being an impressive business card or a top-tier interactive art piece that serves as a a cheeky piece to a résumé and like Mitoza itself the answer to this binary choice posed is yes; but how subjectively impactful is the next event?

It’s cool I finished it can you update it. Your game is so good I loved it I love strategy games but I already finished it so quickly can you please update it for more wacky stuff

Next?. This game kept me intrigued. But when I finished, I was hoping to be brought to the next level. But to my surprise, there was no next level. Not quite sure what the point is? 15 minutes and you’re done.

Great game, surreal toy.. This game is great! It's really the embodiment of unexpectedness. It gives you two buttons with not much info. You explore the weird objects and the consequences your actions will make. I firstly thought, like, how could a seed, a dark room full of emptiness and two buttons make me have a fun experience... Oh boy I was wrong! This is a surreal experience where you need to expect the unexpected or think that 'how DID the creators think about this?'. A thank you from my heart to the creators for making this and a final message to the people who didn't play it yet: Be careful, you don't know what you are going into ;)

Wonderful Surprises!. So taken in by the unexpected vignettes at every turn, I often lost my way. Meaning I’d go down some paths over and over, forgetting I’d been there before. Isn’t that what a good maze does? Endless paths not required. Endlessly entertaining short journeys worth traveling again are even better.

A making. Not sure how to give an adequate explanation of this game. Besides saying that I am just having a wonderful time with this and all of the different things and directions this can go.

what the heck is this?. I chose the bird then the little egg then the up-facing carrots and the the elephant, Didn’t expect to see two flying elephants. I chose up and they just wrapped a rope around the carrot. And also I got A rose which I put a box over and drew over it and I chose a beehive and then I made it crush the house and bees showed up and one tub A little animation played and then I was back to the beginning. Pretty weird huh? Does it feel like weirdcore or dream core or just straight up weird?

Not my cup of seed. This reminds me of something that would be the equivalent of a fidgit spinner; There's no purpose whatsoever, but it could be a decent distraction for those that get restless or unfocused easily. It was slightly charming the first 10 minutes or so, but then it became tedious and unsatisfying. The animations and "stories" were creative, but I kept having this feeling of unfulfillment. Like I needed something to happen.

Very clever & funny. What a wonderfully bizarre little art game. I really like the combo of realistic and cartoonish animation. Not a ton of replay value, but some games make sense as a one-off experience. Not as long/infinite as your usual phone game either, but much longer than indie game jam things I’d put vaguely in this genre which was nice. One or two of the things were a little too gross/freaky for me but that’s preference not criticism. I was just thinking the only thing that could improve this was a way to keep track of the paths you’ve taken, but then I checked the menu and they even thought of that! Great way to kill half an hour. I’d be v interested in a bigger project from this team.

Options!. You make choices, that lead to others, and eventual outcomes. Then do it again with other choices. How do you know when you’re done? Simple good fun. But is there more?

Intriguing, but elicited strong emotional reactions. I love the concept with this. It’s like a non-verbal Choose Your Own Adventure Book. I loved the surprises and unexpected outcomes. I laughed a lot. Spoiler: Maybe I’m just sensitive, but the poo, mucus, animal made of mystery meat, brains in a blender, and dentistry made me absolutely want to hurl. I had a nauseous and queasy visceral feeling-cringeworthy in the worst way. I played until I got every single ending, but it became tedious to watch over and over to finally get the last one. The 4 stars are for the fantastic concept and the laughs. Overall, very good! Amazing artistry!

Really Clever and Creative!. Very funny and clever; reminiscent of Terry Gilliam’s animations for Monty Python, but you get to make selections that change what happens. For example: “What if I’d chosen the chicken instead of the bowling ball?” Not a game. And not a puzzle. A toy, yes, but also a (seemingly) infinitely-branching story. At each “frame” of the “story” you get to make a simple choice between two alternatives, and you get to see what new, clever, and funny animated consequence is presented. You can run through an entire sequence in an enjoyable 15 seconds, but then you end up starting it over again, because you want to see how changing just one of your choices would’ve created something entirely new and brilliant.

SO FUN LOL. This game is so addicting for no reason. It’s so fun seeing all the ways you can do this, and if you do get the game (which you should) don’t watch any walkthroughs! It spoils everything, but if you do don’t say you weren’t warned! Anyways it’s a little frustrating when I get the same thing every time but it’s so fun, also you can go back and can go forward. 10/10 RECOMMEND

Amazing game! (Experience). Sometimes creepy, sometimes morbid, sometimes unsettling, yet always beautiful! I loved this very artsy experience. Absolutely love the art and the multiple endings! An amazing ride all-around

5/5!. this game is so cool and interesting, I had so much fun trying to find out new endings and tricks I wish we had more games like this, it’s so unique with odd characters and situations I just really glad this little seed has made it so far… my silly little seedling 🫠

Multiple choices and no ads? I love it. Free game with no obnoxious ads and is multiple choices? I love it! Each choices are interesting and unexpected in their own way! It’s a game in a realistic style with some disgusting but amusing choices, random like a strange dream.

Drove me nuts!. The problem with this game is that you always have to start from the beginning again, & it drove me nuts! The disappointing part of the game is that when you have found all the items the game is over and there are no more levels or screens. You are done and can either go thru all the repetition again or delete the game. Very creative game, but when it is over, it is really over!

More levels (love the game). Hello Developers, This game was so fun to play and just let the randomness play out. Could there please be more levels? I have no idea what’s happening. I have been playing for maybe a minute, which is to say that I have been playing for 30 seconds and spending the other 30 seconds going “Wait, what?” … It’s pretty fun!

Very interesting game, a little beat weird.. It’s not for everyone, but i like it very much. The artwork is magnificent, there is a super professional who executed the images and animations. The guy who made the story, however, has to be a little crazy; but in a good way.

Surprise! It’s a seed.. This is a great time killer. I am determined to see all the animations. It gives enough choices to not get too annoying with the repetition, especially when the next choice is completely unexpected. I hope to see more like this.

Amazing and unique!. So, I’ve been looking for these art projects just unique and fun apps to play, as it says “ it’s not a game, it’s a toy. “ which I very correct! I think this game is wonderful for those with a big imagination, such as myself!

I love this SO MUCH.. Fun little choose-your-own-adventure thing in which you get to decide what happens to a seed. Clever, cute, occasionally grotesque, and made me bust out laughing several times (totally lost it over the flies summoning a ghost). Even got a little surprise for finding all the endings. And it's free!! What more could you want (except more apps from this developer)? 👍👍👍❤️🍰

I was caught off guard!. I lOVE this game it’s very weird and the endings I get are always great and when you think you know how some things will end this game will always surprise you and I think my most favorite part that caught me off guard was the one where you pick the Big egg button and then the angel button and the thing that I saw was very funny and shocking. The developers did an amazing job on this and thanks for making my day 😁

Unique and funny. This was super fun and cute. The artwork and choices were nothing you would expect and the consequences were bizarre and hilarious. I enjoyed going down each path, trying to find the one in which I could go on forever. But, alas, everything comes to an end. The option to double tap through already seen scenarios was a definite bonus, especially when trying to get that last one. The list of possible outcomes was also very helpful. Overall, I found this “toy” very enjoyable. Nice job! I will look for other games by this company for sure.

Cool but.... It’s quite entertaining and tests one’s memory. But there was no finale. I think when I completed the final sequence there should have been a payoff, like the seed turns into a teddy bear or something like that. Many thanks for putting it out there for free!

Such A Uniquely Fun Experience. This app was nothing like I expected and turned out to be uniquely amazing I thought. I'm having a blast going through all the different options and scenarios of growing the seed. Some of them are sweet, some bizarrely hilarious, some bizarrely creepy and hilarious, some just odd and all of them a great time I've found. I really appreciate all of the time and clever creativity put into building this app by the developer. The artwork, animations and sound design is superb I think. I cannot really think of any other App Store program I've come across that rivals the unique fun to be found here. Many thanks to the developer of this app for all of the time and hard work no doubt put into building, refining, updating and maintaining this application. I'm grateful for all of that dedication, thank you and God bless. P.S. I also am grateful for the cool list that you can access by clicking the upper right icon. Which lets you see the progress you've made in the app of all the choices you've selected thus far. Very cool I believe, thank you, again.

The Perfect Ratio of Fun to Weird to Puzzle. I was looking for something to hold me over while I wait for the next Rusty Lake game is released and this was IT! They found such a fun, weird way to keep a puzzle game engaging :)

Fun idea, but not the best. Some of the weirdest animation clips you could imagine... kind of entertaining, would have been more fun if I wasn’t stuck on the goal of going through everything in order. Ie I just clicked through systematically (basically traced the tree structure if that makes sense to anyone) until I was done which meant I repeated the same clips back to back. But I also didn’t want to forget and have to repeat the exact same endings. Cake reference was the best part

Original. This has to be one of the more original of games I’ve seen in a long time. A good spin on the make your own adventure books.

Not like anything else. This game is so cool and funny and there are literally NO glitches or lags. It’s so weird and not like anything else I’ve played on my phone! The options you pick turn out to be nothing of what you expect and I’m definitely recommending to my friends!! Sincerely, ???

Short, weird, and outstanding.. This is a game with pretty good (and weird) graphics, a unique type of gameplay, and no adverts! I think parts of it’s charm is the fact that I not once predicted what would happen! The only bad thing is that it’s pretty short. If you want a short but awesome game, be sure to download.

Was not expecting this. The creativity and imagination that went into this is amazing. Some choices made me laugh, others were worrisome but that made it even more enjoyable! The choices were unpredictable after the first two or three choices and that made me curious to press on. Really cool.

What?. What just happened? I can’t even describe this game. I spent 45 minutes just seeing what happened next. This is highly entertaining. I can honestly say that it’s so much fun if you just want to waste some time just to find out what’s next. Give it a try.

Creative Fun. I love fun, creative, weird things and this is definitely checking all three boxes. Choice games are always fun, and I love how everything was set up and the art itself was so weird and funky! It’s also versatile with gameplay length. You could play a little at a time if you wanted or you could quickly sit down and go through it all in about 20 minutes.

Super funny and random. I really liked this the animations were super cute/creepy sometimes and It was fun not knowing where your choices would lead. The endings are super creative

Quirky. Nice graphics, but very short lived. Made it through the entire “game” in under thirty mins, so I agree with the statement that it’s more of a toy than a game.. That being said, it was definitely an enjoyable 30 minutes worth of a sort of “choose your own adventure” type. I think I would of liked it more if each time you made a choice as to what to do next, there was a different, random outcome, or at least a couple different things that could happen. The game would last much longer then, and there would be some unpredictability in it. Has pretty good graphics, some sort of weird and quirky, though . All in all was a good way to zone out and kill half an hour.

Absolutely Amazing (in the weirdest possible way)!. Not many words can describe how weird but beautiful this game is. I love the surreal aura of it all; it almost feels like a fever dream! Original game!. I downloaded this app because rusty lake recommended it, and I’m glad i did! Like the app makers said, it’s not a game, it’s a toy. That’s what it felt like as I played it over the course of 2 days. It’s a simple and unique idea that held my interest through the end! (And my competitive/ocpd streak that couldnt stand to leave any logos undiscovered). It’s much slower than most apps these days, but for me, that’s preferable. I loved the art style and the bizarreness of it all. A fun quick & simple game!!

AMAZING. so i usually don’t write reviews but oml, i loved it so much! it was so much fun seeing all the animations for every decision. it got a little frustrating trying to figure out which one you missed but at the end i was able to find them all! i really recommend it!

I wish there were more!. This is a wonderfully weird game and my only complaint is that I wish there was more. That being said, everything else is wonderful. This game is a seamless choose your own adventure. The menu system is sleek and easy to use. The game play is simple and the game itself trusts you to play. You can really tell how much effort was put into it’s development. Would definitely recommend this to friends. What a fun find. ☺️

Love it but ends too fast. I truly love this game but i’m kind of sad that there’s not more endings once you finish all of them. The grotesque art of this game is so intriguing and i love how many endings you could possibly get though i wish there were more once you finish all of the endings. 10/10 would recommend that you play

Very good. I love all the choices you have and how they are all different. I did not think this would be any good, but I was definitely surprised and this was worth testing out. I find this very addictive specially to do all the different options. Keep up the good work!

Definitely not a game. I was thrilled to see Second Maze bring out a new game. Mitoza does not disappoint in its beautiful graphics and weird and unexpected sequences of play. If you can appreciate the incredible minds behind the design, Mitoza will amuse and fascinate you. For that, I have given it 5 stars. I wanted to give it four stars, only to indicate my disappointment that it really is not a game, nor an adventure in the usual sense of the word. However, that is clearly stated in the description, so it seemed unfair. Once I got past that, I just sat back and enjoyed the ride...and what a ride it is! Well done developers👍🏻

Cute. Cute but redundant. I laughed for a few minutes but it never went anywhere. It just went back to the basic seed and the same options every time. The art is amazing but the game is extremely slow and quite boring.

Fantastic. The makers of this game have wild brains! I spent the whole game with a big smile on my face - except for the few times when I was actively grossed out or, with the dentist drill, squeezing my eyes shut and shouting Nooooo.

conflicted. rusty lake/ cube escape is the only game series i’ve ever followed and I love it unconditionally but I don’t know how to feel about this game they’re trying something new and I love that it’s definitely off brand though

Art-type puzzle. I just completed Mitoza. I’ll post it on my puzzle app blog gottasolveit at blogspot dot com next week. The animation/graphics/art is fantastic. The puzzle is to keep track of all the paths and go down each one to see every single graphic. This is actually an old game that was no longer available. Congratulations to the Rusty Lake team for bringing it back. Note to the Rusty Lake Team: my blog is filled with fantastic puzzles that are sadly no longer available. I hope you bring back more great puzzle apps.

Crazy good entertainment. This little amusement is pure eye candy. Even on a bad day, I feel a grin cracking my face after a few rounds.

Surrealist and absurd in the best way. It’s a short game, but genuinely entertaining with some good moments that make me laugh. It was fun to try for all the outcomes and I was always genuinely curious for the outcomes.

I’m confused. Who made this? Well, whoever made this... thank you for making my DREAMS come true I’ve always wanted to get stabbed by a carrot in the tongue and become an eggman if you know what I mean.

Very Monty Python. Kind of a “choose your own adventure” style - but without any story or plot. Random, weird, and whimsical, with a side of gross, that’s the game. It was an amusing 20 minutes and since it was free, I was fine with the simple and short gameplay.

I love it!. As a mother myself, my children love to play this! And my husband has been taking along too. It’s cute, fun, creative, and can be time consuming.I must warn you that ages 8+ is advised.

Incredibly entertaining!. I wanted to dislike this app, but I can’t. It is so incredibly entertaining. It both humorous and a bit grotesque at times! I highly recommend it!

So goofy and awesome. It’s such a goofy game, like I never know what’s coming next and I love it. I do wish there were more levels. But other than that I LOVE this game 😁

Fun and addictive. This is not a game. It’s a phone toy. The more you play with it, the more you get out of it. It’s really cute and quite addictive.

Interesting imagery. I liked it, definitely stuff I wouldn’t expect from just the icon.

It all LITERALLY starts with a seed. Love the graphics! Was able to complete all the achievements for it in a short amount of time and had a lot of fun doing so!! Highly recommend playing it 😊👍

OMG! This genius game is on my iPad now!. I love this game, since the time it was an old “flash” game. This is pure genius and I’m so happy! Thank you for adapting it to the 21st century (even though it was actually created IN the 21st century 🤓)
