Love it, but a few suggestions. I love this game, but a some ideas that make sense. (1) If I purchase the package that removes the ads and gives me 25 hints, when I get 3 misses it basically resumes the level you were on and you don’t go through those tedious ads, but why not remove the ‘*bullseyes’ you’ve found starting you with a blank level. Otherwise, you have no penalty for those misses and you can use then haphazardly. (2) You need to program the app so that if you’re in the middle of a level and need to close the app, for whatever reason, when you open the app to continue the level is where it was when you left. I think these ideas would increase the enjoyment.

Pretty good minor bugs. Game has good visuals and is some what easy to navigate. However, when I complete a level it kicks me off the game back to my homepage. I can start the next level like it didn’t kick me out but I have to wait for the game to reload. Also there is a glitch with some purple pattern on some objects that I believe is just a coding error. Otherwise pretty solid game and addicted.

One Suggestion. I like this game a lot. A great unwind, end of day game to play. It’s not your traditional spot-the-difference game with cutout pictures of objects pasted over other objects. There’s creativity and thought behind this. Well done. Here’s my only issue: that there’s no way to change the layout. What I mean is, if there was an option to put the windows side-by-side instead of one above the other. Looking back and forth is more comfortable for some, ok, for me (that’s why I suggested it be an option, not a change). Anyway, keep up the good work!

Great game but… Huh?. I screenshotted the levels beforehand because I was suspicious that the game would only generate the final differences after watching an ad… And wow, i was correct. Differences in the levels were only generated AFTER watching the advertisement for the “hint”. Thats crazy… What a sneaky trick. My screenshot clearly shows that the leg of the chair is not missing, after watching the advertisement, my “hint” points out that the leg of the chair is missing.

Can’t play. I don’t know what is wrong I get in and I see one picture at the top and a big like white half circle at the bottom and that’s it I think there I suppose to be a start button but there is not so I can’t play I’m on iPhone 13 I don’t know if anyone else is having this problem but I am.

Minor bug. Every time when I re-open the app, it starts from level 53, even though I have completed the level and have completed all the way to level 80+. Every single time

Enjoyable. Beautiful and enjoyable. Some differences are challenging to find. Don’t mind the ads since the developers have to earn some money somehow!

Great Game, small bugs. I love this game! It’s relaxing, looks great, and the audio is amazing. The only down side is every time I tap on the last difference in a level, the app crashes. If this gets fixed I’ll like it even more!

Coincidence or Slimy Tactic?. I was enjoying the game for the first few levels, so when I got a pop-up asking for a rating of the game, I gave it 5 stars. It’s a good-looking, enjoyable, casual game, so why not. Then immediately after giving my review, I started getting ads between every level. It just seems a little shady that I wasn’t getting ads until immediately after I had submitted a rating. It’s like they know that ads will negatively influence the player’s perception of the game, so they make sure you’ve enjoyed it and rated it well before giving you the real experience of the game, which in this case means having to watch an ad every minute and a half. Just an observation.

Crashes during the tutorial. Others may enjoy playing the same small section of the tutorial over and over before the entire app crashes and you have to start over, but it’s not my cup of tea

Love it so far. I haven’t gone too far in the game, but so far, game’s been great. Love the challenges, the aesthetic, the music.

Huge Problem. This game is great, and especially for free, it plays really well. I just have one problem: the game crashes frequently. Not only on the tutorial but on a lot of levels, the game crashes instantly after spotting the last difference, forcing you to play the level again. Fix this and your game is perfect.

Beautiful, but…. This game is absolutely beautiful. I find myself holding back on completing levels because I enjoy the atmospheric music so much. I honestly wish there was a way I could purchase the soundtrack. That said, there are occasional ads that completely interrupt and ruin the feel, and you have to pay $5 to get rid of those. Regardless, I’m giving only three stars purely because I don’t understand why the app needs to track the data that it does, including my location. That makes zero sense for a puzzle game…

Relaxing. I'm really enjoying the game. The only reason I have it 4 out of 5 stars because the music and sfx can't be turned off even though it shows its crossed out. Please fix? Thanks!

Keeps crashing. I just got this game for the first time and I go through the tutorial and it crashes after I find the 3rd thing during the tutorial. Very annoying. The tutorial itself is very unresponsive too.

Attached to this game in every way. I don’t even know if I ever written a review for a game. Hideaway has me completely attached In Every way. The art design. And especially the music. I love how when you find something, the sound you get is in key with the music, actually sounds like part of the song. It’s very relaxing. And I truly feel myself calm down while I play. Looks like I’ll need to purchase the full version because the sounds of the ads definitely ruin the vibe.

Fun but an AD fest. The game started really fun but then broke down in a constant barrage of ads. If you upgrade its suppose to remove the ads but it’s $5 for a very basic game. The songs in the background are very calming and the puzzles themselves are excellent but the ads got me.

This is the only game I play. One weird issue though.. This is a very low-stress game, suitable for any time of day or just before bed. It’s simple and streamlined. Not too many moving parts. Just find differences. For some reason, every time I open the app, it shows me level 14. I am on level 46 or something so I have to scroll and scroll and scroll to get to my current level. This is annoying and it’ll become a hassle when I get to the higher levels.

Interesting game but bug prevents further play. Fun game to play and was able to get pretty far. However at some point the app crashes after selecting the final difference and restarting looses all progress. Can not continue. Hopefully it gets fixed.

Love it!. Great way to bring the mind to logical thinking when wanting to hop out of emotional thinking for a bit. Fun too!

Fun while it lasted. I truly enjoyed finding the differences in this app. But I have now done all of the levels. Not sure when or if levels will be added.

It’s free??. I love this game! So fun to just relax and play. The shocking thing to me was after playing like 15 levels I was waiting for the free version to end or the levels to run out but there are so many unique levels- like over 100. Thats awesome for a free game. People love to complain about ads but they complain about paying for an app too. Can’t have it both ways, one 15 second ad between a level that takes about five minutes usually is very good for a mobile game. Definitely keep adding levels!!

Can’t get past intro screen. For some reason, after the developer intro screens, the top portion of the first puzzle comes up with a white half circle on the bottom of the screen that says “welcome to hideaways.” There are no prompts and nothing is clickable, just some zen background music and the slightly pulsing white semi circle. (It seems others have this exact issue as well) I’m running this app on an iPhone 8 with iOS 14.7.1.

Outstanding. Outstanding game of hide and seek. They hide the differences, and you seek out ways to avoid the ads. Pay for the ad-killer and it’s a 9 out of 10. Try to play without paying and prepare to be annoyed.

Loving this game. This game is beautiful, sounds amazing and relaxing. Also did I say fun!!! The puzzle are challenging but not extreme and it is always a delight to finish a level. I really recommend this game.

wow. This game is so aesthetically pleasing. I enjoy the graphics and the melodies played in the background. This game is slow and calming. Love it!

So relaxing. The music and soundscape of this app is beautiful, not to mention that it’s fun. The developers seem to know how to make an app an experience and not just a game. Even the the sound effect for when you find a difference is always in the same key as the song for each level. It’s just so beautifully detailed and I love it.

I need help. I just downloaded the the game but it won’t let me get past the second part of the tutorial, any tips?

Obvious differences that doesn’t count. I enjoy this game. So far, it’s my favorite find-the-difference game. Every level is beautiful and interestingly challenging enough. But I wish that the game would save in mid game. You had to complete a level or you would lose the progress of that level if you close the app which you would start from beginning. Also, there are too many flaws in the designs that I thought were differences but didn’t count. For instance, on level 22 Mayrhoffen, the shade of the largest green tree have an obvious difference in which there is an orangish tint on the shade of the tree when the duplicate tree doesn’t. I clicked it many times but it didn’t count as a find and I wasted all hearts. Seems it’s just a design flaw. I would have given 5 stars if there is a better save feature and all design flaws are fixed.

Glitch. Love the app, it’s challenging, just enough to keep going and not give up. But…On the first “ Basketball court” scene there is clearly a difference in the upper left corner. I’ve restarted over and over, and watched more ads that I care to count. I’m not buying hints for something I can clearly see!!

The sound!. Like this game it’s pretty relaxing and aesthetically pleasing but please add a button to mute or at least turn down the music, super annoying

Boring?. This game is pretty tedious and boring. I love “spot the difference” puzzles, but the CGI “zen” aspect of the art means that the actual puzzles are blatantly obvious in the ways in which they are different. I tore through the game spending roughly 30-45 seconds per puzzle. I could almost click differences like a metronome. Once I realized it wasn’t going to get any different, I quit. I know that some casual people LIKE games that require no mental effort, but that’s just not me. Brain dead activity feels like a waste of a time.

The Difference Here Is High Quality. I’m enjoying, Hideaways, a whole bunch so far. Spot The Difference games have always been some of my favorite types of games and this one is beautiful, very engaging and fun and has quite a refined aesthetic to it I believe. I also found the music to be very relaxing, calming and perfect for everything else in this title. And when I noticed that I could get rid of the advertisements permanently I jumped at the chance to make the in-app purchase. The price of $4.99 seemed very reasonable considering the quality present here and well worth the expense in my opinion. Many thanks to the developer for creating such a high caliber Spot The Difference video game in, Hideaways. I very much appreciate all of the time, hard work and passion that was no doubt put into building, maintaining and updating this title. Lovely. Great and relaxing game. The music is top notch - I sometimes don’t want to finish levels so I could listen to the music. It would be fantastic if we could purchase the soundtrack or find the initial source to look into them more!

Tutorial is broken. Could not get passed the tutorial no matter how much I zoomed in and out. I zoomed in as close as it would go and I zoomed out as far as it would go several timea and it refused to go to the next step of the tutorial. Forceclosed and tried it again and it didn't work.

Lovely game, would love an option to disable hints. The hint dialog boxes pop me out of my happy mental space and I always click “no thanks” because I want to try to complete every level without assistance.

More ads than play time.. The ads, which appear after each level, last 2 or 3 times as long as it takes to play each level. I know it’s free, but how many times can you stand to watch the king trapped in the tower? Excruciating!

Consistently crashes at the end of the tutorial.. Three attempts to play; each attempt ends with a game crash when selecting the third and final difference in the scene. iPhone 12 Pro Max running 16.6.1 on fresh download of game (Sep 9, 2023)

Game doesn’t fit phone screen. Like many others, I cannot get past the start screen that only says “Welcome to Hideaways.” After a little digging, it appears that the game image is longer than my phone screen, but doesn’t shrink to fit. So the bottom part of the game image is simply cut off, including the “START” icon located at the bottom of the screen. Therefore, I can’t even begin the tutorial.

MUSIC! And Gamplay. The game play is great and keeps me hooked. But the music really does steal the show. It's caml ethereal vibes really transcend you to another place. I wish they credited the composer, I'd love to delve into their other works ( if developer is reading, don't hesitate to respond with some info) Keep up the good work👍🏻

Would love to play. Would love to play this game. Beautiful scenes and music. After the first level, the game just shuts down and closes. Go back and you’re forced to start all over.

Just a Tiny Bug. I absolutely LOVE this game it relieves my stress, but one thing that doesn’t is when there is a difference but it isn’t counted as one, for example the basketball court level in 10 differences. Up in the upper corner of the map on the stairs looks like a shadow. However when I went to click on this shadow it was wrong. I’ve encountered this bug a few times in this game, one time I was clueless and ending up having to watch a video to get my lives back because I lost them clicking on this so called shadow. I’m asking that you fix it so other players don’t get confused. Other than that tiny fix this game is amazing keep up the great work!

Fun and easy.. I’m not sure I’m playing this right but it is a slick trick by trying to view this sideways and using the cross eyed method that you would used to view stereograms (that were popular years ago) the differences jump out at you like an eye strain! Happy hunting! ;)

This game is so well done. I love find the differences games and this is the best one I’ve played in years. It’s just so well done. The differences sometimes are very subtle and that’s what makes this game so good. The differences are there but can be very hard to find at times, and to me that translates to a very well done game in this category. I was more than happy to pay the in app purchase to this developer, and I’m excited to see what they come up with in the future.

Doesn’t function. Same problem others are having. Game opens, half a puzzle shows, game freezes. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Boring after a while. The game has great graphics and finding half of the differences is fine. It is the remaining half which are always spot the difference between shadows that bring this game down. Not a true classic spot the difference game.

Fun to play. This game is fun to play when I bored but I’ve been stuck on level 36 for ages, there is only 10 difference but I could only find 9 and I’ve checked everywhere for ages.

Can’t get past tutorial!. Re-downloaded this game about 8 times thinking it’s a problem with the download and internet connection, but now I don’t think it is. Basically can’t get past the ‘Pinch to Zoom in and Out’ as there is literally no ‘next’ button to press on my screen. No matter what I do, I can’t get past the tutorial because the interface is stupid. On iPhone 14 Pro - IOS V16.1.1

Never able to start the game. Freeze right at the beginning

Soothing music crackles. On both my AirPods Pros and Max, the music while being very good and relaxing crackles often and it’s persistent enough that it bothers me during gameplay. Any chance the crackling music can get addressed?

It is, very easy for me. Beautiful graphics though!. I’ve loved search / comparison games since I were an older child, in the early70’s. Artist all of my life, specializing in small details, in drawing as well as sound sculpting. Beautifully done game though and it is fun to search. I don’t need hints or anything.

Game manipulation. Great game until you figure out that some levels are manipulated to make you watch ads. When you get down to the last difference and watch an ad to get a clue, it shows you a difference that wasn’t there before. I thought I was imagining things at first but then I started to take screen shots to verify my suspicions. Pretty disappointing to find out that the game is set up this way.

Stuck. Can’t get passed the Tutorial since I’m stuck at “welcome to hideaways”.

Can’t get past title screen.. Would love to play the game as it has very good reviews, but I can’t get around the “pinch to zoom” screen. Please let me know how to get past this and I’ll rate it properly. EDIT: I figured it out. There is supposed to be a “Next” button, but it is cut off. Obviously this game is not designed to work on an iPhone. Please fix this.

Enjoyable challenge. This spot the difference puzzle is a fun challenge. The only issue I have with it is the hints. The game decides when to offer a hint (for the “price” of watching an ad), but there doesn’t seem to be a way to request one any other time. I rarely want a hint at the time when it’s being offered, but once in a while would like one when I choose.

Stuck. Trying to start the tutorial seems to lock me into the text box, I can’t get passed “welcome to hideaways”.

App crashes during tutorial. The game crashes in the tutorial can’t even get to play. iPhone 14 promax latest 17.02 iOS. Tutorial gets to where it shows your the hint on the third item and when you tap it the game blows you back to the Home Screen tried re booting phone tried uninstalling and re installing.. still won’t work.

Beautiful <3. I love the aesthetic of this game, and the soundtrack is so good. I wish there was a playlist of these songs on Spotify; I’m a big fan of the song on the level with the Jeep on a beach. So beautiful
