Complete garbage. Needed it to run lights behind my TV. No response no instructions no link for help. Does not work. Such a disappointment and waste of money as now I have a set of lights with no functioning remote I want my money back.!!!!!

Music. The biggest let down was the music feature

Needs updating. Worked fine 6 months ago and light is now unresponsive. App needs to be updated. I have tried disconnecting, deleting app, re-doing light, etc. Nothing works.

Doesn’t work.. I was in awe of the light bulb when I first got it because I loved being able to control it from my phone. However, I haven’t even used it more than five times and it no longer works. When I turn the light switch on it lights up then turns off immediately and won’t turn back on when i use the app.

$5 light. For a $5 light bulb it’s doing everything I wanted. I just downloaded this app and the two o bought works great. They aren’t super bright but they definitely have a lot of colors and functions to play with. It looks good in the dome of my living room fan! Wanted to try the one with a speaker but you have to know going in it’s not gonna be a great speaker at $5

I like it but please change the name of the app. It’s confusing

DOES NOT WORK. i bought the product in marshalls and this is the only app it provides it doesnt work at all its stuck to one color, and says its connected to my bluetooth. so disappointing

Lights did not connect. I got theese lights for Christmas and I put it in the wall with everything, I downloaded the app and the lights did not connect me and my brother tried changing the usb port and it did not work either. product was bad.

Music feature. I was very excited when I bought this project thinking it could sync to my phone for music the box and the app claims there is a music app and it even gives you a Bluetooth option but I was very disappointed when it didn’t work. Other then that the light is pretty good could be brighter but I will definitely be getting more

Ugh and Ahh. Only reason why I rated it 2 stars is because the app really doesn’t work. The app and the remote that it came with does work perfectly fine so I can use those by itself. It was a shame though because I was looking forward to the music and the lights

it’s ight would’ve been better with music feature. I wish they fixed the music feature because that’s the whole reason i downloaded the app. They are false advertising which is not right at all.

It is what it is. Bang for buck is how it got 5 stars. Think about it. Free app for cheap bulb. It does mostly what its supposed to do.

I need help. I can’t get to turn them off I got them to connect and it shows h that it’s connect but it does turn on

No instructions. It doesn’t tell you how to use the music feature it just says that it’s there.

App issues. I don’t know how else to contact the app but there has been a bug for a bit almost a month now. I can’t connect to my light out turn the off/ change the color. I just keep getting kicked out of the app when i try to do anything. Please fix this!!!!

App is out of date & doesn’t allow you to connect to the bulb. The lightbulb itself isn’t great, but for $5 it’s a decent buy. It definitely has potential. The remote it comes with is iffy, but works ok. The app unfortunately doesn’t connect. I can connect to the light bulb via Bluetooth, but the app doesn’t connect to it from there. I tried it with an older iPhone that’s not on a new iOS, but it still didn’t connect on there.

Good but not the best. Did not work for more that 10 minutes after got out of the box and broke after putting back together

Trash. The lights did not work at all. Brand new box I had bought to use with my monitors and plugged it in, connected them via the app and Bluetooth and they didn’t even work. Waste of money, complete garbage lights. You’re better off going with Govee’s app and lights.

Stopped working. They worked through app for like 2 weeks and just stopped working. I have the latest iPhone so it can’t be because of my phone

Confused…. I was very excited to find this app, what it claims to do would be great, but… I could not get my phone connected. The connect device page is blank. I have Bluetooth enabled, but nothing shows on the connect page. Any help would be great! Oh, and the “app support link comes up blank too! What am I doing wrong ? I have an iPhone 12 model, I wonder if that could be causing my problems.

Music option doesn’t work. Need to fix the music option because app just crashes when you click that. And most of the time the app just crashes in general too. Also lights aren’t that bright but I paid $5 for mine. Lol.

Horrible! Avoid!. This app is almost impossible to use. It worked for a short while, then became completely unresponsive. I’ve worked in IT for years, and never seen a worse app. I even tried turning it off and on again. No improvement.

Not worth it.. Too easy to plug in incorrectly because connector doesn’t indicate which way it has to go. Try both ways. Music feature is appalling: it lists all songs with no way to sort or use playlists. Microphone mode stops working after screen turns off. False advertising: the box shows the strip displaying multiple colors at the same time but that is impossible to do.

2 colors only. Took it out the box and only blue & green works🤷‍♂️ blue work’s halfway down the string and the green fully functional but I can use any other colors; red, purple, yellow white ..

Cool I guess. Bought it at 5 below I always wanted to buy a color changing light and 5 bucks was cheap enough for me the app itself is not flawless but still worth the buy

Doesn’t even work. My mother got my this lightbulb because she knows i love color changing lights, but got tired of having ugly led strips all over my walls. Was super excited to try this light out only for the remote to not work, and the app to be completely unfunctional. In the instructions the app gives you, it tells me to click the upper left corner to connect to the lightbulb… However when I do so, only a blank screen pops up. I literally don’t have the option to connect the app to anything, even with my bluetooth on. The lightbulb itself works at least, but what’s the point in having a color changing lightbulb, if i can’t even change the colors?

Only works when they want too. I bought these from Ross knowing there not gonna be the best but they worked at first now only work when they want and tried everything. :( kinda disappointed 😐

Rip off alert. What kind of person just rips someone off I got these to put on the back of my computer but they don’t work at all it won’t turn on when I try to, worst thing ever who ever made this is an idiot

False labeling. Bought the product not expecting much but it actually works so for that I have it a 1 star as credit for that but I was extremely disappointed when the music feature didn’t work and there was no tv feature either. Product package had a label claiming this product had both music and tv feature but they lied. Fix these issues pls

This app doesn’t work!!!. I bought this for my son and he loves the light so I saw on the box that there is an app. I downloaded the app on his tablet and he came to me saying it does not work. A disappointment to both him and me

Cool concept but the music feature needs work.. So let’s start off by stating I only paid $5 for this so I wasn’t expecting the best quality. The light itself is very cool. The app is better for controlling the bulb than the remote because, you have to be right next to it for the remote to work. The bulb is small and the light not that bright which was shocking but again; it was only $5. I wish the music feature actually loaded music instead of podcasts. It’s an ok product glad I tried it and now I’ll look for a better quality one that might cost a bit more.

It’s okay for something non expensive. It’s fine, lights up part of my room but the music feature doesn’t work at all. Can it be fixed?

Not Zoomed mode compatible. If your phone display is set to Zoomed mode you can’t use the speed slider. And there’s no way (that I can tell) to contact customer service to let them know. Otherwise it’s very cool. Lots of potential.

Here is how to connect it to Bluetooth. Go into settings and scroll to the bottom it should show all your apps click on the mirror app and then it should show Bluetooth, microphone, and media and click Bluetooth and you should be all set to turn on the LED strip This is for iPhone at least

Music Feature. I agree with the other person I was excited but i just knew it was to go to be true the music feature don’t work when I click on it , The app closes like wow wish y’all fix this please .. other then that good app .

Piece of crap. The app doesn’t work when trying to add a device. No remote in the package. I have a string of lights with no way to turn them on. Don’t buy this product.

Bang for your buck. For five dollars, this light bulb is amazing. I got the bulb at 5 and below. The app lets you put the light to any color imaginable. The app is easy enough to use. It is not as bright as it can be, but the bulb still lights my whole room on its own well enough. Definitely worth it.

Ok. First I love the light quality but when me and my brother got some of these lights we were about three feet thick of wall and my phone kept connecting to both lights so if I want blue and he wants red we have to agree on one so I give this a two out of five

Doesn’t give proper instructions. I followed the ONE installation instruction listed in the app and connected my Bluetooth to the bulb, but literally nothing happens when I use the app to do anything to control it. It’s still stuck on the random color funtion it was on when I first turned it on 👎🏼👎🏼

Works how it should. This works great for me. For a $5 lightbulb? Actually super impressed

Music feature. I really was looking forward to using the app and all the incredible features and although it is a great app unfortunately a really big let down for me would be the music feature soo that’s why I’m giving it two stars

More customization would be good. There looks to be an option to create your own custom way to have the bulb flash, but that doesn’t look like it works. Would be perfect if you could pick which colors it flashes through under “Style”

Solution. I see a lot of people talk about the brightness of the bulb but on the remote there are two buttons near the top that let you adjust the brightness and it gets pretty bright

DO NOT BUY THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. Bought these lights because they were cheap… that was a mistake because they don’t even work. Tried to look up a customer service number but found that there’s no way to even contact them. Waste of time and money. Need to be fix. I have a set of those types of led light and so do my sister anyways with the Bluetooth thing it keep connecting on mine and my sister lights and my set won’t just connect to my phone it connect to both our sets of light. This have to be fix and for now it will be a 2 star.

Garbage product. I can’t disconnect the bluetooth. I can’t change the colors. I can only turn it off, but I can’t turn it on back again. Send the update fix the bugs.

Bluetooth not working to listen to music. I try everything and I can seem to listen to music thru Bluetooth the Bluetooth headphone doesn’t show.

Not worth a penny. No app support. Light disconnected from app and is no longer controllable. Complete rip-off. Don’t fall for it like I did. Spend a couple more dollars and get something real and useful.

Horrible product. I bought this for $14.99 when it's usually $4.99, but that was no crisis, what was a crisis was the fact that it didn't work at all! I put it on my wall to find out it was half the size I thought it would be. In the picture on the packaging the LED strip covered all of the walls in the room, but when I put it on it only covered one wall of the room, and the room is average-sized, no bigger or small than the one on the picture. Then I tried to turn it on, and the remote didn't work. So instead I tried to use the app. The app is outdated and won't connect, leaving me to the conclusion that this product is a big waste of money!

The manual and bulb. So I’m trying to connect to my light bulb but I don’t know how to do it and I feel like you guys should put how in your manuals

worked for 2 days. i was using it for a day or two when the lights disconnected i tried my best and even called my uncle who is a professional but no matter what it could not connect back

Garbage. The app is absolutely garbage. Got the HYPE GLOW LED light strip and you have to use the app to work the light. I can’t connect to the strip whatsoever. There’s a connect choice but it does nothing
