Price. I think a subscription that is weekly is ridiculous, but the free version of the app works fine.

Why would I want another bill just to take notes. It has become increasingly harder to find a free app. I get it. But every month? For real? Wow. Why do I have to download these to find that out. Thank you

I really wanted to love this app. This app has great potential, but it falls short because it doesn't always function as it should. The layout is excellent, and the design is very user-friendly. However, the app has a major flaw: it doesn't consistently save your notes. I'll write something, save it, but when I return to the note, it has mysteriously vanished. This is incredibly frustrating, especially since I rely on these notes to remember important things. I've purchased this app twice. The first time, it worked well for a few months before the issues started. After some time away, I let my subscription lapse, but I decided to give it another try, hoping the problems had been fixed. Unfortunately, it seems the bugs are still there. I'm disappointed with my purchase, especially since I opted for the yearly subscription twice 🙈 and I really want this app to work as intended.

Needs some serious work. Not even slightly user friendly. Also IMO, false advertising. You don't "write notes on lock screen," you write them in the app, save the note (and your wallpaper) as a picture, and set that as your wallpaper. And you can't have the same note on your wallpaper and widget, you have to manually recreate it. 🙄

No free option. Seems like a good app what for what I needed but did not have a free option (only a 3 day free trial). I don’t need another subscription, especially not for a sticky note app.

You can’t do anything without a subscription. I don’t mind paying for an app if it’s a one time thing, but $20 a year for a little sticky note app? Heck no. I just want it so I can have the widget and see my notes on my Home Screen. The app itself is free, but you can only make one note before it makes you sign up for their ridiculous subscription. And it also takes more effort than I was hoping for to edit a note. I was hoping to just be able to edit the note on the Home Screen, but with this app, you click on the note and it makes you go into their app to make any changes. This app will be deleted! Definitely do NOT recommend. Update: found a better app. I recommend the app “Sticky Widgets”.

Must purchase subscription. Gives a 3 day trail then charges a $30 yearly fee. This is not written anywhere prior to downloading. You can not go into the app to view unless you agree to the trail/subscription. Pro: 3 day trail CON: Not worth a yearly fee if I can not see it first bc everyone forgets subscriptions and for the cost I can get a well known, highly rated and established program from numerous other companies. -I would re-evaluate if like other pay to use apps I was able to use some functions to see if I liked it and then pay the fee to eliminate the ads. Three days is not long enough to try and see if this is worth the time, effort and price.

Takes a while to update the widget. Pros: The app comes with a lot of text customization option. Support for iOS 14 widgets is great. Cons: It takes a while for the widget to be updated after modifying it in the app. I have to click the widget and open the note in the app multiple times before any changes take place in the widget. Hopefully the devs will fix it. Edit: The issue seems to have been fixed. Changed my rating. I’ll come back and confirm after a few days.

Would be a 5 if it didn’t suddenly stop working. I paid the yearly rate a few weeks ago & LOVED this app! It helped keep everything I needed to do in my face. My love was short lived when the widget went white and never game back. It’s not even in my widget option list any more. Ive reached out 4 times now. The first time I got a response saying to restart my phone. (That didn’t work) the last 3 have went unanswered and I’m out $20 for an app that CAN NOT BE USED. Super disappointed!!

Everything is subscription based now. I can totally see myself plunking down $20 on an app if it’s a one time thing. For example, I paid $10 for notability, $6 for GTASA, and $10+ for each ebook I downloaded. You done goofed. I’ll grumble and use the widget only, but you’re not getting higher than 2/5 for the dirty trick. Edit down to 1/5 within returning to app from review: wow. Dumbfounded by the greed. Can’t even make any new notes without paying.

Makes no sense. Very hard to get past the subscription page and I can’t make more than one widget, even if I delete the first one.

Must subscribe to use at all. I added two notes, then deleted them because I wanted a different size. Then, it wouldn’t let me create ANY note without subscribing. I didn’t even get a chance to see if I like it before deciding to pay for it. I’ll just look for a competitor then.

Looks good. Looks good in App Store. I downloaded the app to try. The most important part to me was to get the notes on the wallpaper. Problem was that there are no directions.

Can’t get past the paywall. I don’t want to be forced into a 3 day trial, because then if I get busy and forget to cancel then I’m charged automatically. Complete waste of my time to install and now I have to uninstall the app.

Bad rating. I like this sticky note app because I can keep stuff in order but I tried to make another one it tried to make me pay I’m rating this a 2

So helpful!. As someone who has ADHD this is great because it’s right there and a big note so I can’t forget about it!

GREEDY GREEDY GREEDY. For what this app is supposed to do it’s a bit greedy to have a subscription to something that should be a product and not a subscription. However, if there’s something about your product which is continually evolving such as Evernote A subscription would be appropriate. But right now your app doesn’t have enough bells and whistle‘s to justify that

Immediately asks for a subscription after downloaded.. This is pretty much a scam, once you download there is a paywall to use the app itself. It’s 20$. For a notes app. It doesn’t have a “premium” vs “unpaid” it is quite literally a 20$ notes app.

Best sticky note app. This is one of the best sticky notes app in the whole world because it so easy to make your sticky notes and import it into the Home Screen I highly recommend this app it is really good!

SaaS vs. Perpetual License Woes. Hi Devs. As a web developer, I have a lot of respect for the effort it takes to create and modify an app for release on the App Store. However, charging a $20/yr subscription for a sticky notes widget/app comes off as a bit bizarre. I would pay $20 or $25 for a ONE-TIME perpetual license, but now I have to move on and seek out a different sticky note app that hasn’t sold their soul to greedy SaaS practices. If that fails, the regular Notes app has a widget that works well enough. Additionally, the top/left side of the default yellow sticky note widget was visually cut-off but unfortunately, I was hit with a paywall before I was able to see if customizing it would have resolved it.

Gives you one note only. I previously downloaded this app. It was free. I had multiple notes. I even paid for a skinny note pen ???? $3.24 by the way, which I don’t remember doing. I accidentally deleted it off of my iPad. Re-downloaded it and now I am only able to write one note !!!!! money wasted!!!! definitely deleting and will never download it again that’s crazy to ask for a subscription for a sticky note.

Yikes. Well I got the year long subscription, I’ll stick with actually putting paper notes on my phone. YOU CANNOT MAKE A WIDGET 🔥 I put that in customary ragey capitals not because I expect anything could change but to warn others as this is time from your life that you don’t get back.

Junk. Lost everything when you attempt to open the previous saved notes they are blank but you can clearly see part of the saved stuff I just lost everything hope this app fails miserably because it cost me 10k dollars

Can’t use the app. Cannot use the app because there is not exit option out of the pop up for the + version of the app. How am I supposed to know if I want to spend money on this app in the first place if I can’t even use the app! I am tired of apps doing this. Reopened the app multiple times and same thing. Tried to not click next which leads to the pop up, no exit option from the next pop up also. 🙄

Loving this app for 5 years but it suddenly stopped working. I love this app, especially the simplicity of it, that’s why I chose it over many other I downloaded and tried. I’ve been using it for 5 years but suddenly the widget feature of the app stopped working? The widget became black and it didn’t go back to normal so I removed it to add it again but there is no option to add a widget for this app anymore, all my other widgets are working. I’ve been waiting for a couple weeks hoping that it would get fixed, so I’m leaving this review in hopes that they’ll see it.

Good app. I use this app and like it. It is what it says it is. There are two thing however that bug me a bit. It does crash, occasionally but luckily saves the progress before doing so. Another thing is the lack of alpha option on the backgrounds of the notes. I think it would be so much better looking if we could choose the opacity for the background notes. Please consider for your next update! 🤞🏼

Perfect for what i need. I got this app because I don’t like the look of the notes app widget. It’s very easy to navigate and edit the note pads and I like the customization options in color and font. My only problem with it is when you make a checklist the dots don’t like up with the words at all and it really bugs me. I hope that can be fixed in a future update but all and all the apps nice.

Help. I cannot make it add more than one sticky note to my homescreen. I can create multiple stickies in the app. But I can’t add more than one at a time to Home Screen as it shows in picture. Not lockscreen, homescreen.

Don’t do it!. The app is very basic. Not what I expected. As soon as I made a note, my card was charged $20. To the developer …. Let people try out the app first before taking money .. especially $20 right away. Personally I don’t think it’s worth it because it doesn’t have enough options. No disrespect to you, however please refund me.

Not a true widget.. I downloaded this app because I wanted notes as a widget on my phone. This is NOT a true widget. And it should not be advertised as such. It also runs quite slow and takes a while to load.

$20 well spent. Yah you have to pay for it. Put it in perspective vs how much actual sticky notes cost and this is less of a carbon footprint I can’t really complain!

What about the purchase?. After downloading this app I was ready to use but then it said I needed a plan! This is really annoying and I wish they had said that before.

Solid but unusable at the moment. Was good for what it is nothing more nothing less. But the recent updates have made it unusable for me. I make different notes on the app but when I try to add the widgets only one comes up and even if I add other widgets they all just come out as the same one instead of the different ones I’ve made. Besides that it’s a 5 star for me but for now no just cause I can’t use it as intended atm.

Could have been great. I was so excited for this and willing to pay for it because I love the lock screen option with photos of my own. I made a few different lists and they do not save into my photos for me to add on as a wallpaper. It just saves as a black screen. When I click “contact us” the app just crashes. Maybe it’s a temporary issue? But I’m not paying just to find out.

By far the most useful app.. Its useful, great price. Lags when typing.

Good way to remember things. So far so good. This is a handy tool to write text on wallpaper. I can see my notes all the time.

Weekly subscriptions are the sign of a bad app. I refuse to pay for any app with a weekly subscription. They are always junk of low quality and few features. $2.99/week is not worth it for sticky notes.

Lock Screen Function is Fake. It just generates a screenshot that you then have to set as wallpaper… not an actual Lock Screen widget. For $20 per year this is not even remotely worth it

Subscription Required. The app only lets you make two sticky notes and then won’t let you do anything further without paying for a subscription.

Started great but went to crap. I was so excited to use this app as it was genuinely helping me during the day and then it all went awry. Random blank note “strips” were showing over my actual notes and there was no way for me to get them to go away. So I paid for this to successfully use it for less than a day

Not upfront. I must’ve been given a trial because it worked fine but now I have to pay. I read the description and that was not put across very well. Thumbs down

Not Functional Anymore on iOS 16. This was such a good app, but the past month it’s been glitching or the note shows as a black screen. I can still open the app, but I can’t add it as a widget anymore as it’s not even showing up.

Great app I’m in LOVE. This app is wonderful it helps me remember all the tasks I need to do! The even better part is that it’s free. It’s nice you can add inspirational texts, lists, and reminders. Anyways I haven’t had a problem with this app at all! So yea it’s a great app I would consider recommending to a family member or friend. In fact I recommended this app to my friend and she loves it!

Not worth it in my opinion.. Very pricy for what it is - $20 a year? That’ll be a no from me. Colors are all very bright. Lots of fonts but most of them are basic boring type fonts. Blah.

Not good. I made a Lock Screen sticky note and saved it and it worked. Then I decided to change wallpaper. After that any time I saved it to my camera roll it would just be white photos. The wallpaper with the sticky note wasn’t even there. This app has too many issues

It’s pretty unusable. You can make some notes but you’re constantly notified to pay money for some generic purposes that don’t need premium price tags. I think it used to be good but I could barely get some notes on my phone without being hounded for money.

Absolute garbage. What a ridiculous amount of money for basic sticky notes?! Seriously developers. I deleted this rubbish app instantly as soon as I opened it and saw your subscription fee. Fk off.

WOW! A winner. With the App Store being bombarded by ‘widgets’ at the moment, this one really stands out. It’s super easy to use. Has all the editing I need, including font style & size, background & text color. Plus, as a bonus, it even has iCloud sync. All for free. No advertising either.

The worst thing ever.... It’s buggy, doesn’t save your lists...impossible to edit. I spend hours compiling lists and notes to have them disappear on me for no reason. By far the worst thing I’ve ever downloaded, let alone paid for. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

Don’t download if you don’t plan to buy. Good app Ask for payment. No option to exit and had to shutdown app and reopen to bypass. Later asked me to rate app as the only option. So here I am. Will be deleting app now

👍🏼options 👎🏼EXPENSIVE! (WILL find better). $27/yr is RIDICULOUS for anything, let alone a WIDGET. Lower ur fee to $3/yr & I’d happily pay that + raise my rating. Basic monthly needs are too costly as is, so no way I’m payin $30extra for STICKY NOTES! I’d be better off using REAL sticky notes! Honest review; thus far it has the widest array of options BUT I WILL find (or create my own app) w/ just as good of options for less the price (maybe even free).

Not much to it. It's a nice app being that it can be a widget that can easily be viewed on the home page but other than that there is nothing much to it. I would like to be able to have my bullet notes different colours or ever something as simple as being able to change a few texts to a different colour without having to change all the words

$3.99 a WEEK?. Seems a little steep for sticky notes. I wouldn’t have bothered to leave a review, except that the “Subscribe Now” page is set on a timer... I get that you want me to spend $16 a month to get notes on my Lock Screen, but let me use the damn app. Don’t make the user wait 5 seconds to USE your app as you tell them to pay. I still can’t get over the $16/month. That’s $192 a year, for sticky notes. I have a lot of software subscriptions, but this is higher than any of them.

Drawing not showing on widget. Cool concept but when I draw on a sticky by hand, it doesn’t show on the widget at all when I’ve fully saved my scribble. Not sure what’s going on. If the drawing showed on the widget it’d be perfect

It’s OK. I like how it’s a widget, you can make check list, you can choose different sizes of the notes. However, i think the colour option is slightly limited. Also, I think since it was updated for iOS 14, I can’t tick off my to do list right on the spot. Instead, it directs me back to the actual app before I can tick it off, which can be annoying. Hopefully the developer can fix this. :)

Won’t work.. The widgets work perfectly, but I can’t get it to work because of a stupid advertisement for Sticky Notes+. Please fix this.

It’s not free. Don’t have it in the App Store as free just to have me waste my time downloading it and have it open and ask me for 26 dollars a month for a sticky note. I’ll buy a pack of paper ones. Thanks for nothing.

Ipad 2024. This is exactly what I was looking for but cant seem to figure out how to display multiple notes on my ipad. Not easy to figure out and no tutorial.

Ripped off. I bought this app when it was a 1 time charge now they want a subscription and won’t let me use the app. Sounds like theft and fraud to me
