Simple Refresh for Safari App Reviews

Just what I was looking for.. Simple to use and works as described. I needed to refresh a web page periodicly and this does the trick.

Awesome just what Safari needed!. Saves me clicking and or hitting keyboard shortcut! Future update request please if possible... 1.Have to red notification bubble that shows time countdown. 2. A way to quickly type in time wanted in addition to the slider. Thanks awesome work.

Does not work on mutiple tabs. Cannot auto refresh multiple tabs simultaneously. If you have multiple tabs you would like to auto refresh, you are out of luck.

Not working. I enabled the extension but see no way to set the frequency.

Where is the slider located to charge the interval for iPhones 13 pro. Can’t find the slider

Does not function. I would give this zero stars if I could. It does not function on my Macbook air M1 with Big Sur operating system.

works ok some bugs. first time using it workted flawlessly updated to mac os 10.15.7 and immediately noticed when i set a refresh time on a tab it would refresh once then it would somehow automatically disable the refresh after the first time anyone else experiencing this side affect? other than that i wouldn't complain

Simple and Functional. Easy install, and works. Refreshes tabs as advertised, time is configurable and can be used on multiple tabs with different time settings for each. The hardest part was finding the little icon on the toolbar the first time - it’s right there just didn’t notice it at first.

Works as advertised and even in the background!. I love the simplicity of this extension; it just does what it says. A couple feature requests though 😉: 1. I’d love a toggle to disable/pause the refresh timer when a tab is focused. It can be annoying when you’re reading something and all of a sudden the page reloads. 2. Another reviewer suggested and I will +1 to add the ability to type in the timer duration. Thank you for the extension!

Crapped out. Worked at first. After reinstalling the OS (Big Sur), it doesn't work anymore. The "support" link on the App store page is useless. Avoid this extension.

A M A Z I N G. This is exactly what I was looking for! Though what would be really great is to be able to choose refresh interval because as a web designer this is a super handy tool and to be able to set different timers for refresh would be really cool! Thank you for making this app <3

Very nice misisng one feature. This does the job. One thing I wish it had is a keyboard shortcut to start/stop it (for start, have a default interval.).

Definitely a worth while AR. So ever since the implimentations of extensions for Safari I was looking for a really good Auto Refresher to use on Safari instead of chrome since Chrome sort of wasnt too optimized for somewhat older Macs and cuasing slight bottle neck concerns however this one definitely fits the bill only thing stoping it from getting that 5th star from me is the fact that it doesnt have an option for 3sec intervals which i'd like to hope they can update eventually however definitely enjoying it otherwise

Amazing!. I absolutely love this app! It really helps with my workflow as I am constantly needing to refresh webpages for communication and scheduling. This is the perfect extension if you need to refresh webpages every so often.

Fail. For 5 dollars I was expecting a flawless app. Admittedly, it is simple to use, however I think it is a bit too simple. I want the page to remember where it is scrolled down to when it refreshed. Given, it does this for a majority of the time but after a while it stops remembering and then inevitbilly will stop responding completely.

It does what it says. I wish that it would refresh by URL, so I could make changes and use the same tab. There's a free version in Chrome that refreshes by tab and I was hoping that this paid version would have some customizability. I would give a full 5 stars if it would refresh by URL instead of the whole tab page.

Great app. Hi William, Love the app. Simple and thin. Would love to see a countdown timer to see how much is left before the next refresh, as well as an option to clear the tab cache when it reloads. Keep up the great work! Thanks 😊

Fine, but missing key feature. The auto refresh part of this app works great as far as I can tell. It's missing the ability to play a sound when the page changes, though, meaning you have to manually keep checking instead of it alerting you.

This is awesome!!. Works great on iPhone. Just one request if it’s possible and that’s to add the ability to input time intervals via keyboard as it’s hard to pinpoint the exact timing wanted using the slider button. Either way, great add-on. Thanks.

It doesn't work. It doesn't work, the second I change tabs it disconnects.

Helped me get an order in to Amazon Delivery. During the social distancing, this app helped me get an order in to Amazon delivery for today. Due to high-risk family member, we were trying to avoid the grocery store. Yet, we had a handful of items that we needed but Amazon didn't have any delivery slots available. It did say they were releasing slots through the day. So...I set safari and this extension on a second monitor and set the refresh. Every time it flickered, I glanced. Flicker...glance. Flicker...glance. BOOM! Got a slot after only about 10 minutes of waiting. (Missed it the first time because it refreshed while placing my order. Second time, I turned off refresh before placing the order.) Thanks to this app and Amazon, we will have milk for breakfast tomorrow.

Scam. Claims the app extension settings can be adjusted but after purchase no settings option and no refund or support.

Stops working. I have this running on a MacBook Air in two Safari windows and it's exactly what I need to overcome some dumb web software I'm working with. The problem is it turns itself off, for no apparent reason. Fix that and it's five stars.

Does what it says. I was finally able to get a limited item on a web site that goes as soon as they are posted. I did have to camp on the website to watch the majical refreshes happen and then, bam! the item I was wanted showed availabe :) Too bad Apple limits develpers and does not alow push notifications in apps like this so I did'nt have to camp on the site but this beat the alternative of having to keep clicking. Thanks guys!

Perfect for one page!. Simple and I like that you can choose a custom interval. Would be 5 star perfect if you could utilize on multiple windows at once. Would happily pay a dollar or two to upgrade for that feature!

Great developer. Had an issue with the extension, i emailed the developer. Within a week an update was out fixing the issue! He is great! Would recommend to fellow coders!

Doesn't work on iOS 17. Ever since iOS 17 released, this no longer works.

Seems to work as advertised - i wish there was a countdown tracker. Just got this to try and keep on top of PS5 stock. Seems simple and works well, runs nicely in the background. I do wish there was a counter until next refresh, the badge numbers do not count down and just show the interval.

Dangerous permissions. There is no way a n extension that simply refreshes the page should be granted permission to access all of the content of all webpages. I'd like a refund.

Does not work. M1 mini Safari 15. Wish I would have seen the other reports about this extension not working. It doesn't for me either, Up to date Big Sur with Safari 15.

Useless for Outlook Web Access (OWA). Safari has worked fine with my OWA. Wanted this for refresh to watch for new email. It constantly logs me out and I have to close Safari, reopen it so I can log back in. This is with two different OWA accounts I have, so developer... Don't go blaming it on the OWA implementation

Not compatible with Safari 14. The extension stopped working after updating to Safari 14 but the developer quickly fixed the issue. Works as intended.

Great addition to Safari. Great addition to Safari. Though it would be nice if you could just type in the refresh rate instead of toggle. It would be faster in some cases. Thank you! Yes I would have given 5 stars if it had that feature :)

An Update to a Poor Review. I originally gave this 1 star simply because I couldn't get it working. However, William graciously gave me a step-by-step guide on how to get it working, and it now does exactly what it says it should. Can’t get working on Safari. I’ve enabled the extension in Settings and have turned it on in Safari for 15 second refreshes. But, it isn’t refreshing the tab. I’m hoping you can help me. Cheers
