Jbl fire. The jbl sound is immaculate especially when it comes to their Bluetooth speakers they definitely deliver crisp sound and just right bass

Nice to have adjustments, but connection is sketchy. I purchased 2 310 speakers to have the ability to link together. However, linking the two makes the app confused at times, not allowing me to enter the dashboard, even if both speakers are connected via link and both connected to my phone via Bluetooth. Aside from that, the dashboard is great in allowing so many adjustments.

JBL PartyBox App. Up until about a month ago the JbL PartyBox app worked well on my iPhone and iPad Pro. Then, it stopped working on my iPad. What happened? Will the JBL app work on iPads? Before I would have both the JBL App and Apple Music open on screen on my iPad but can no longer do that.

Great sound speaker. I’ve been wanted to by the product for quite a while, I decided to take the hit an bought one, I don’t regret it, the unit is outstanding, great base and highs are just well calibrated, they work in unison. Buy the product if you can, you won’t regret it

The App is completely broken on iPad mini. The latest update completely broke the app, I have 2 party boxes and after the update the app goes through the blue ring of detecting the party boxes and once they show up lined up to be selected it does not allow me to select the speaker; I can scroll through the speakers but I am not able to select either one to adjust the volume, TWS or lighting features. Hope this gets fixed soon, as the app is a big part of the value proposition.

Great but. If your going to spend money, the JBL party box is worth it. Easy to hook up to either blue tooth of hard wire. Excellent sound and very durable and functional. Great buy!

Power on/off feature. Please bring it back! I just upgraded to the 310. I have it on a speaker stand so for me to reach up there is a hassle.

310 party box. I love this speaker so much only thing is I need another one two stands two mics a screen for words to sing along. One of the best purchases of my life

No connection. I have tried everything they suggested and can not get my part box device connected with the app. The app keeps searching and never finds the device…I even reinstalled the app multiple times but nothing works.. not sure how to make this thing work anymore

Buy two. Last update improved sound quality a lot. Thanks for that. Would love to see more than three adjustable bands on the EQ though. Loving the punch but the sound quality is limited. Three bands can’t tune much✌️

More Light Options. The strobe lights are great but I would love to be able to turn on the lights without flashing, just a solid color would be a great simple option. That as well as having the lights just goin a slow pattern unsynced with the music. Please consider adding these options the the app, besides that the app is great!

Needs EQ. This app works as intended pretty well, I’ve only had a couple minor hiccups where it lost connection to my partybox mid song. However, it is imperative that JBL update this app to include an EQ. Most of the competitors have it, and I like to use the partybox as a budget portable PA speaker for small events. A good EQ would make all the difference in the world to bring these devices into a bigger audience. Another feature that would be huge would to have the option to adjust microphone volume from the app, but that may require some hardware modification on the speakers.

Must have. I love this speaker. I use it to run trivia and karaoke nights at a local bar as well as personal use. I highly recommend.

PartyBox App. I purchased the 110 to add extra bass to my 2 Bose S1 pro setup. I would love an Equalizer and crossover capability. I really need to fine tune the 110 for specific applications. That being said. I really think the 110 sounds great and looks perfect. It would be helpful if future generations could bring the weight down to 15 lbs. I don’t want to sacrifice the power and bass to go with EON speaker which is lighter.

JBL PB encore speaker app. Works perfectly.. only change I see possible is when you on the app it should show what song is playing

I love this app!. This app is amazing! I love how you can adjust the treble and bass to get the perfect sound. I also love how I can control the lights from my phone with so many options. Each setting a different mood. Great app.

Incredible Machine. Awesome power small enough to take anywhere but power enough to light it up!!!

Lack of options. Why can’t I simply turn the strobe flashers or the general light show off from the app? Why isn’t there a “chill” light show? Maybe just have the light go as it does when music isn’t playing. When playing music other than Rap or EDM you’d want something to just be subtle. Seems like a missed opportunity.

Like the app, but!!!. I am a huge JBL fan. I have just about every Bluetooth speaker imaginable with JBL. The issue that I’m having with the app is that, it’s not picking up my JBL party box 310s. It picks up all the other ones, my JBL 710s and my JBL party box essentials. the only way that it picks up my 310s, is it I had to get up and literally turn them both on, and wait for them to connect. Other issues that I’m having, is that I am visually impaired. So the app does not allow me to see all the other speakers on the screen. I wish that they could come up with something, to where I can feel down the screen and choose the speaker that I want to use. It also does not allow me to be able to turn off the speakers either. It doesn’t even show up at the top of the screen, where it usually says turn off speaker.

Features. On every Blu tooth speaker I have ever owned you can use the app to power the device on. It is to the point of me returning the product due to it not remote powering on and linking. It’s also a pain you have to press the link button every time. Good quality speaker though that’s why I’ll give 3 stars instead of 1

Jbl partybox. I think I this app got a better upgrade then the last one. As well for the jbl it’s the best sound system I ever own . I own the flip 5 but then bought the boombox jbl partybox 310 and I also partybox 1000.. the bass on these systems are amazing to own.. Thank you jbl for your quality of sound

Need to add an equalizer badly !!!. The app is ok but they definitely needs an equalizer and maybe let you customize the lights more to your liking. It should also let you know if your speaker is up to date instead of just telling what version it’s on. the reason I said it need an equalizer is because this speaker can sound muffled at times and that eq that’s on the speaker and the app is only for karaoke and not for anything else so please enable those equalizer for regular music listening too it would help out a lot.

Perfect. Works how it should wish there were more controls for color or quality of sounds but connects easily on my PartyBox 310 so it works how it should

Jbl speaker. The best speaker I’ve ever had in my entire life when it’s all the way up I can hear it like 5 houses down 🤯

I wish the lights didn’t move. The party settings are fine but why not provide a setting where you could just have the lights be lights without all the flashes and moving around? I realize I can turn the strobe flashes off but even the bass lights are all wacky. Please halp.

Compatibility. I’m not normally one to make angry reviews but when I bought a pair of JBL Partybox 100s($300 dollar speaker). I expected to find a JBL app to pair both of them together with. I was shocked to find out that not only does this app not support the 100 not a single JBL official app support it. Frustrating to spend 600 dollars and a company is to lazy to make all the Partybox speakers compatible in the Partybox app.

Good but could be better. I really wish this app had more options for the tone settings. It would be better if there were different options for what type of music your listening to.

Awful App. I have 2 PB710s. Speakers are great. App support is beyond horrible. Due to app bugs, it is impossible for me to select the speaker (penalized for having 2) and cannot customize as a result. I’ve been communicating with customer support for over a week and have only received generic recommendations to fix.

Fix the app. Honestly it’s a good app but recently I got the JBL 300 and I just want you guys to make it compatible with it because a 110 can be paired(an old model) but a newer version of the party box can not? I’m confused but please fix this

iPhone 13 Pro Max issues??. My iPhone thirteen promax never successfully loads the app. I never see the “Getting ready” screen. It only connects as an audio source. No control over lights or karaoke or DJ functions. All my other Apple devices and old phones have no problem running the app. What gives?? 🙁

Party box 310. Got the 310 for pool parties it’s more than enough to rock the party. This app makes it super fun with dj effects and light controls. If u have a box get this app.

Absolutely amazing. The sounds quality is absolutely amazing WOW. Super clear, crisp, and high quality definition when playing any type of music. Recently used it for my living room entertainment and I have to say I felt like we was in a IMAX theater. Recently purchased the JBL Wireless Microphones for party nights at my house. Best Mics ever. JBL speaker on its way. Would recommend to anyone.

Great service. The app won’t connect to my JBL partybox 110 after the new IOS 16 update. Fix this plz!!! Update: they fixed the problem thank you JBL I knew I could count on you guy to get right on it 5 stars :)

Excellent sound as expected by JBL. Only one shocking thing is , that I could not connect my party box on the go to the party box encore not even by cable thru the AUX

Awesomeness. All JBL’s products sound really really good. Also they are well integrated with the apps for optimal sound and control. Kinda pricey but you get what you pay for. Great quality and outstanding performance 👍

Stopped pairing with speakers in app after iOS 16 update…. This app was working flawlessly before iOS 16 came out, now my iPhone 14 (with iOS 16) can’t find the speakers on the app, even though they are paired with Bluetooth on the phone. I have called JBL several times, but they are not helpful at all. Their fix is to replace the speakers, which I don’t believe is the problem…this issue is also happening on my JBL Flip 6 speakers. The app needs to be fixed to work with iOS 16!

Connection problem. I have a JBL party-box 710 and it awesome but I can’t connect it to the JBL party-box app. All it say is connect Bluetooth and I’m allready connected. I’ve restarted my device, re installed the app and reset the speaker. When I tried it on a different device it connected to the app. I don’t understand what’s wrong. Oh and can there be an equalizer. Thanks

Good but not great. This app is good I do like it andI think it could be better. If you take the equalizer control from the JBL Headphone app and apply it to the music controls for this speaker and then also add a second equalizer control for the microphone inputs this could sound as good if not better than most professional karaoke set ups. That control on the headphone app has made the JBL earbuds the best as far as sound quality and volume level I returned my Bose earbuds after using that app and finding the abilities which are available because of that equalizer control. Please do add that exact equalizer sound control to this app. I believe that if you do I will be-able to replace my Sonos 5 (Play5) with these JBL speakers.

Perfect. This app is perfect and very smooth but I suggest for you guys to add to both PARTYBOX and Connect app that u add a turn off feature especially when using connect a multi shut off or single speaker

EQ controls are missing. This app is good and user friendly but it is definitely missing something and that is equalizer controls . JBL needs to do something about that ASAP since it’s one the most important things when considering buying a new speaker .

App doesn’t connect to the speaker. Why have a app created when it doesn’t connect to the Bluetooth Jbl Encore, I deleted the app 2x and downloaded it again to see if that would’ve fixed the issue. Y’all have to do better. $200 plus speaker without a working app 🤦🏽‍♂️. It plays bt music from my phone, just doesn’t allow me to access the JBL app to control the Eq.

The Connoisseur. Everything is just fine but I wish it could turn the 310 on and off by the JBL app. Through your phone.

Suggestion:. You know, it would be nice if the JBL Partybox 1000 would have app support, EQ, Etc. Especially at this price point, I think it would be nice if it had app support some point in the future. By the way, the partybox 710 will sometimes not connect to bluetooth when I turn it on from the app and I have to manually go in my bluetooth to connect it. Please fix, urgently and thanks. Another issue: When I’m using TWS between my JBL encore essential and my Partybox 710, if I turn up my essential, it will randomly make my Partybox 710 volume jump up, it’s very annoying, please fix soon and I want to be able to control the volume individually, without it effecting the other speaker. This needs to be addressed as soon as possible, please and thanks. Also, the JBL encore essential does the same thing as the JBL Partybox 710, where it would not connect to bluetooth automatically when turning jt on from app.

Issues connecting to Bluetooth through app. Issues connecting to Bluetooth through app. I connected fine with my iPhone 12 Pro Max when I first got the JBL party box 310. Downloaded the app and everything connected fine. When I exited the app and went back into it, it ask me to pair again then gave me an error message. I would I have exit the app and re-pair again through Bluetooth, not through the app. Kept trying with the app but still having the same issue. Hopefully it gets fixed soon because although the sound sounds great, would love to have a working app for this high end high priced sound speaker.

JBL PartyBox 710. The PartyBox 710 is a beast. I wish I could lower the bass even more on the app. Even at the lowest settings, the bass is too much before my neighbors start complaining. Please get rid of the start up and shut sound. That's annoying. Also, stop the 1 second pause in sound when going all the way to full volume. Besides that, this thing is great.

IOS16 broke the Partybox App. Please update your app. App is not able to locate the Partybox 310 -times out on search. Bluetooth still works just not able to use the application. Thx!

Super awesome sound. I love music. But only if I can get the best of suspension on sound at multiple levels on volume. I’m heading soon for the next one so I can play Stereo with them. 😁🤙🏾 good job JBL. Congrats

Not Keeping the connection. I have a JBL Party Encore and whenever i try to go into the app it keeps telling my to find my speaker every single time I use this app. I would say to update this app where it saves your speaker. Plus I was able to increase the bass to max which sounds really nice.

Could be much better. The app works fine for me. Always connects. My main problem is that I don’t feel it’s feature rich enough. If there was more light customization, which I know they could do, I would rate it way higher. The speaker is great. But this needs more lighting features for sure. Like, why can I not just have the light ring just one solid color instead of flashing?

On the go speaker. When will there be an app for the on the go party speaker??

Not the best app. The volume control is crazy. Half the times does not respond to touch and you need to get it exactly right and it vibrates just to change volume. Not great

Decent. Please update this app with more customisability over the light features. This is the one downfall of this product!!!

App update. Should update the app and include more facilities like turn speaker on and off from the app, faster connection to speaker rather then waiting so long for it to connect, eq adjustment, more like the UE MEGA BOOM app as this speaker range is so expensive especially since JBL is a better brand then Logitech the app quality and facilities should be better as well… pick up your game JBL expected better. I’ve been a customer for years and wanted to try out your party box range. Not to say I’ve purchased 2 party box 1000s and were impressed with the sound but again app support is not even existent for those…

Love it. I think the features on the app are really, really good. I would like to add one recommendation though, in terms of when the lights move I feel like it would be amazing if you could add bias as to when the lights move around and pause. For instance make it so that on the lower notes or bassy parts ut focuses on the bass more than anything else and say the lights spin around then instead of the other times

JBL 310 Arty box. This thing absolutely cranks my tunes so hard my ears bleed orgasmicly.

PARTYBOX NOT CONNECTING TO ENCORE ESSENTIAL. My Partybox app is not connecting to my encore essential in my phone. Restarted my phone, redownloaded the app, reconnected the bluetooth speaker still not connecting in the app. Tried it on another phone it worked. Not sure why its not working on my 13 promax

JBL 1000. I bought the JBL 1000 and thought that at the price of it surely there would be a compatible app with it. But I am left to see it only supports a small quantity of the JBL partyboxes, this is very disappointing.

Only supports 310. For a huge company to create an app that only supports ONE version and it's not even the newest version? Unbelievable! I've bought a JBL Partybox 1000 and I can't even use the app and need to physically go to the speaker even to change the volume. JBL WAKE UP AND INCLUDE SUPPORT TO YOUR BEST PRODUCTS!

PartyBox 310. Great sound and battery life. Looks great and strong build. The app needs to be updated allowing users to see tracks being played from USB and continuous dj mix when playing from USB.

Call it the 310 ONLY app.. So the JBL partybox app isn’t for the partybox’s they have sold us but only the updated one we can’t have yet. By not make an app for the people that have bought the existing ones?? I’ve got two partybox 1000’s and hoped I’d be able to at least turn off that RIDICULOUS start up sound and even worse the TWS sound that comes on at full volume and wakes the dead... IT HAS LIGHTS. App does not work. Have a party box 710. App will not get past the “go to settings” page to connect / pair the speaker. It is already connected! So frustrating. Absolutely useless and can’t use any features. So disappointing. Running IOS 16.3.1

Ios16. Please create a patch to fix connectivity issue with iPhone ios16. PartyBox app will not work as it currently exists. I had to use my old iPhone with older operating system to use my 710 with the app.

recurrong firmware update failure. The Party Box speaker itself is good. This application - required to make firmware updates is complete junk - have tried multiple times and it fails persistently. DID I MENTION THAT FIRMWARE UPDATES FAIL REPEATEDLY?

Connecting problem. Wont connect to partybox 300 :(

Need support for Partybox 1000!. The app is useful for the older models but we need app support for the partybox 1000. Need to be able to adjust the EQ as the bass/mids /highs can be too much at times, especially at high volumes. Two bass settings is not enough. There is no good middle ground. Cannot play music at high volumes too to the high tones sounding too sharp with no way to control them. Spending $1500 on a Bluetooth speaker with no adjustment/app functionality is ridiculous. That’s the one thing I hate about JBL party boxes. There is only a button for two bass settings which both sound terrible. It needs both the punchyness and lows of each setting to sound decent. Not one or the other. A lot of other Bluetooth speakers have buttons/knobs to adjust bass/mids/treble. If you are considering the partybox 1000, look elsewhere as there is no way to adjust the EQ.

Worked Before - Not Anymore. This app worked great with my 710’s until I tried to update the app. Now it can’t connect. Super frustrating. The app works great with my 310’s that are in another facility.

No Partybox 1000 support, what a shame. It’s such a shame that this doesn’t support their flagship Partybox 1000. I own 2 of them and hate how I always have to manually choose the light show colour that I want by pressing and holding the button for a few seconds which always fails if you hold it too long or too short. Also would be nice to adjust the bass boost via this app. But nope. Jbl doesn’t care enough. Guess I will always have to stand up and walk over to it. Just can’t believe they wouldn’t support their most expensive and best Partybox this app is designed to control. What a small-minded shame. The app even says “always adding more Partybox device support” - what a lie.

App can’t seem to detect that im connected. The speaker is very good , nothing bad to say about it, the bass is strong and the mids are very clear, it does get very loud (party box 310) My problem is with this app, it does not seem to realize that im connected to my party box 310, it wont get pass the “ connection page”

JBL PartyBox 310. Soooo happy with this purchase. I love music! This unit is just simply amazing! Awesome sound! Not a big fan of the lighting, but i usually turn it off. No big deal. Would have been better is lighting actually pulsated with the beat of the music. Great bass response and overal sound.

Great app with one missing feature. The only thing bringing the score down is the inability to turn off the JBL chime when turning on/off the speaker and connecting to Bluetooth. With a large speaker like the 310, it makes it nearly impossible to turn it on late at night for low-volume listening. It’s possible with the Boombox 3, so why not the Partybox? 🤔

Awesome Speaker !!. What’s not to Love about the JBL PartyBox 310 !! From its portability with its big wheels & the awesome “suitcase” handle to the incredible 18 hour battery !! To the amazing Base that you can literally feel in your bones !!! Or maybe the downloadable App to control pretty much everything it can do. If you haven’t done it already GET ONE NOW !! You won’t be disappointed. It may be a little more expensive than some others, but your paying for quality. This speaker is built to last !! I Absolutely Love my JBL PartyBox 310 !!

Version 3.4.24 feedback tone update NOT WORKING. I recently returned my Jbl PartyBox 110 AND 310 because I could not stand the on/off sound. It is way too loud and shakes the floor that it wakes my baby every time I turn it on/off. I was pleased to see the updated it so you can disable the tones. BUT IT DOES NOT WORK. So disappointed ☹️. Just purchased the 300 series and expected this App to work with it. I agree with earlier review. Why launch an App for the 310 series when it’s not out yet and why doesn’t the 300 series work with the app. I paid $500 for a speaker and have no remote control functionality? ☹️

Dashboard no longer available on iPad. The JBL PartyBox app use to work on my iPad Pro. However, it no longer shows the “Enter Dashboard” button. As a result, I cannot enter Dashboard. I even tried uninstalling app and reinstalling app. NOTE: JBL PartyBox app works fine on iPhone Pro.

Massive booms. The JBL partybox delivered the crunching bass and sweet visuals I was looking to add to my home gym. Definitely recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing!

App won’t recognize Bluetooth connection. I have tried this app on 4 devices and it won’t connect to my Party Box 310. I can play music through Bluetooth, but the app won’t connect.

Pointless app. The jbl partybox 310 has not came out yet so why have an app for the new speaker and not have one for the 300 which is the same speaker just a little less power and no wheels. If I could give 0 stars I would 1 star is to many for this app.

JBL 110 Party Box. Whether on the deck, on the golf cart, or inside of the house, this unit is unbelievable. Perfect for every condition we use it.

It's cool but I feel lackluster. They should really update it with some cool new features but it does a superb job with the EQ so major props no complaints just feels outdated for some reason to me

Ridiculous. Why do you not have compatibility for the 100 and others. This a complete foul on JBL and needs to be addressed. I’m probably gonna return it and get something with an app. Crazy to think a $300 speaker has no app. Heck the 1000 doesn’t either. JBL do better!!

Totally disappointed. I expected the app of being capable to connect to my jbl party box 100, but unfortunately it isn’t available. In my opinion I think this app should be available for every party box speaker.

App is completely unusable on iPad. On iPad the app runs in some small container that is shaped like a smaller phone screen. Problem is the bottom of the app is cut off so you can’t “Enter Dashboard” on any speakers. So the app is currently useless on iPad. It was not broken like this a month or two ago

More Options!!!. This app needs to have more PARTYBOX models that can actually work. It doesn’t sync up to the PARTYBOX 100 nor the party 1000, this seems like a cool app but it really needs to have more accessibility towards other models. Other than that this app would be great.

App not connecting to speaker. I have tried resetting the speaker. Deleting the app. Resting my phone. JBL online support says the app is having issues. Speaker is too expensive to have these issues.

What the heck. Sometimes it just won’t connect. I have to turn it on 3-4 times and wait 3-5 minutes for it to connect

Not compatible with Partybox 300. I have the Partybox 300 and this app seems really cool for it but I saw in the description that it’s only compatible with the other versions of the partybox and not mine. I’m a little confused why they didn’t include the 300

Terrible. Stuck on connect blue tooth. It is connected but the jbl app is rubbish. Works perfectly as long as you don’t use the app. Why the connection process was created this way is ridiculous.

JBLPARTYBOX. PartyBox is the best sounding Bluetooth speakers I’ve ever had! Used it for Pool/ Engagement party this weekend and everyone loves it! Can’t praise it enough! Great purchase!

Needs to be better. My biggest complaint is that when I try to change the color of the lights it flashes that color for a second then goes back to cycling through all the colors. LAME! And I bet they won’t ever update this app either.

Money wasted!!!. $700 for two Partybox On The Go. Only for this app to not control these expensive units. Don’t get me wrong, they sound amazing. App not working. Bought the PartyBox 110, downloaded app and gets stuck on “go to settings and come back” screen. I’ve deleted and re-installed app and nothing.(app is on iPhone 14 promax).

App did not open the controls. My iphone 12 was able to connect to the devoce but app did not open the controls. It just keep sayong “ go back to setting once blue tooth is connected. It connected bit when I go back to the app still nothing happened. This could be a deal breaker since there is no remote . I rely on the app to control remotely. Thanks.

App was amazing until…. Until they removed the option to turn the speaker on/off via the app instead of the speaker. I wish it would come back, it is super helpful.

App Does Not Work. I've tried countless times to get the app to work but apparently IOS 16 is the cause. It's just stuck on sync Bluetooth in settings. I'm connected but the app does nothing.

Can’t turn 310 on and off with the app. I can’t turn on the 310 on and off with the app, everything else works. No problem turning off and on my 110 or 710 but the button to turn off and on the 310 simply aren’t there in the app.

Karaoke. Everything is fine but please make a karaoke button in app to remove vocal

Petty boomers. In order for the app to work you must have the JBL party box 310. Some people just don’t know how firmware works. App does exactly what you want it to do. Simple.

Awful App. I have 2 PB710s. Speakers are great. App support is beyond horrible. Due to app bugs, it is impossible for me to select the speaker (penalized for having 2) and cannot customize as a result. I’ve been communicating with customer support for over a week and have only received generic recommendations to fix.

No longer connects to PBs. The app no longer connects to or is able to manage the two PBs I have. They show on the panel but they cannot be managed….. nothing happens when you tap

Issues with the app. I’ve paired my new PARTYBOX 310 by Bluetooth which was perfect but then whenever I launch the app it keeps saying that it can’t find the speaker. I even unpaired the speaker to try to pair it again but still the same issue .
