Sound not balanced on AirPods. Like the watch app! Great to play SoundCloud ad free from my wrist. One problem thought I was going deaf in right ear or right AirPod was dying. Turns out when playing on AirPods sound is off balance for some reason only with the app. Any other app or use of AirPods works fine. Any suggestions or fix?

Does not show up. I purchased this app since I really wanted to get SoundCloud on my watch. Doesn’t work. Id like to get a refund please here.

Scam. Not only was I charged $5.99 instead of the listed price of $2.99, there is no ability to sign into sound cloud either direct or through a third party such as Facebook, Google or Apple. Complete scam.

Better than nothing. Just got an Apple Watch and was disappointed there isn’t a SoundCloud app. I bought the watch for running and I listen to SoundCloud mixes when I run. Eventually I reluctantly tried DaftCloud. The setup went fairly smoothly. And it works! Sometimes it can take a while for the song to actually start playing. But I am pleased to have a form of SoundCloud on the watch. My suggestions for the developer: Currently the Play icon shows while it is playing, which is actually the opposite of what SoundCloud does. When you are playing a track on SoundCloud it shows the Pause icon. So that is confusing and at first I was waiting and waiting for it to play, when it was paused. Also I would love the ability to click on the “playing track box” and that would show some more info and a “time/status bar” that would show you the time elapsed/remaining and allow you to jump around the timeline. So I’m happy, and there is room for improvement.

Scam App. Like the others below, I was pumped to get my watch and be able to sync it with SoundCloud. Turns out this app is a scam. I ran into the exact same issues as the others below and couldn’t even log in. I literally have everything brand new (phone & watch), so telling me to update to the latest version is nonsense. You keep can my $2.99. I just want to warn others who might fall prey to this garbage.

Awful. Alright so first off, the sign in is a pain the a** and i still have yet to figure this out. i’ll finish this review when i get the option to use the application.

What I was looking for!. Only had this for a short time, but I didn’t have all of the sign-in issues reported below. I used my gmail sign-in and it brought my playlist right up!! #PhoneFreeExercise

Pretty decent. App on Apple Watch runs pretty smooth. There are some bugs that occur sometimes but not enough to be annoying. I had some issues but was able to get them resolved when I emailed support. I was using it for about 6 months and everything is slows getting better. It was alright when I first used it but it’s so much smoother now.

It Works Well. As others have mentioned, logging into SoundCloud is an ordeal. But I believe the developer when they say there’s nothing anyone but SoundCloud can do about it. It is what it is. Aside from that everything works well enough—my playlists played instantly—and it’s wonderful to be able to listen to SoundCloud on my Apple Watch. Worth the three bucks! — Thanks for the app. Four stars bumped to five to make up a bit for the unfair ratings from some others who blamed the dev for things out of their control. — P.S.- You might want to change the description since setting up on a Mac is no longer necessary. I had no problem with Watch & iPhone alone.

Don’t work. What if I don’t own a Mac I have an iPhone an iPad and an Apple Watch. If I can’t use this app on my watch without a Mac device I want my money back it is useless to me

Doesn’t work! Where is support?. Downloaded the app - paid $2.99 and I get a message no user account could be found on icloud with no further direction. The support link takes you to a useless page on the website. UPDATE: Still does not work! - I will upgrade to 2 start just because the developer responded. Received a response from developer suggesting I need to install the mac app and sign into my soundcloud - I did and still the watch app gives me the same error - no account can be found. I even uninstalled the watch app and and reinstalled - hoping it would synch. Still the same error. The “respond to developer” option takes you to a useless website with no way to contact the developer accept for this feedback. Fix it or I want my money back!

The Soundcloud Watch Solution. SoundCloud doesn’t support a stand alone watch app, but this does the trick! Can store all songs linked to your SC account (liked tracks, playlists, the weekly upload, etc) directly on your Apple Watch. Don’t need to be connected to the internet for playback. If I had to list one con it would be that there is no shuffle button. Other than that it’s perfect.

I can’t login. I can’t log into my account or even make a new account (on Apple Watch se ) all it says is check the reCaptcha checkbox and it’s all white

BEST way to stream SoundCloud with Apple Watch. Love this app! I have searched far and wide and DaftCloud (Wrist edition) is THE app to stream SoundCloud on Apple Watch using cellular data (without needing to have your phone on you). It’s really easy to set up...just download the DaftCloud Mac app and be sure iCloud sync is enabled so that the Watch can find your SoundCloud account, and boom you’re in business! It will port over your SoundCloud playlists and stream, and you can even save and repost tracks to your SoundCloud profile. The app developer is also very responsive and helpful!

App isn’t well supported. Don’t buy it yet. I was hopeful that this app would work as advertised. But the UI was clunky and the sound didn’t come out. Very sad it doesn’t work. If it works, I’ll update my review. Until then, you can keep my $2.99 to fix the app.

Updated review- can finally sign in.. See below for initial review. Developer was able to provide a solution for signing in. Update: Happy to have a way to stream my favorite SoundCloud sets, but unfortunately the app is still quite buggy. Loses connection quite a bit, which wouldn’t be so terrible if at least you could continue and pick-up where you left off. After getting “kicked out”, you need to select what you want to hear again (and start from the beginning)- this is not conducive to an enjoyable experience, not to mention that it’s quite an inconvenience when you’re in the middle of a run or bike ride. Hoping the developer can sort this issue as well. Initial review: Can’t sign in on the watch. Keep getting message to “check the reCAPTCHA checkbox”, but so such box exists. Thus, the app is useless. Can I please get my money back?

I like the Idea but…. I cant get past the login because my account is through an email and the CAPTCHA doesn’t show up on my watch so it won’t ever let me get through the login without making a new account through apple :( Otherwise I like the premise of it since SoundCloud doesn’t get support on Apple Watch.

Works for me!. I’m not sure why everyone is so critical. They should be mad at Apple not the developer. Without this app I wouldn’t have access to my SoundCloud account. Of course I was hesitant at first to download the app based on the reviews, but I’ve had no issues so far. Yes the sign-in process is annoying but it’s a one and done deal, not like every time you put your watch on you need to go through it.

Login Issues. I purchased the daftcloud app. However, it doesn’t let me log in. It says you need to check the ReCaptcha box. There is no option for that. How can I fix this error? If it cannot be solved, then how can I get a refund?

It’s alright, could be a bit better. I don’t like the fact you can’t use your iPhone to directly log into the SoundCloud part and it does take a while to load but when everything works perfectly, it’s like your using SoundCloud from your phone. I appreciate having this app to at least enjoy my music directly from my watch but I do kinda wish it was free but overall still good 👏🏾🤝🏾

Can’t sign in. When I hit the login button using Facebook it does nothing waste of money do not buy

Eh… awesome when it works, infuriating when it doesn’t. At first I expected the Apple Watch to connect to the DaftCloud app on my Mac for a seamless experience. I was wrong. To sign in to SoundCloud, it basically makes the Watch run Safari. Terrible idea, tiny buttons made it difficult to navigate and handwriting my password wasn’t convenient in the slightest. However now that I’m in, everything seems to be working well. I’m a big fan of the user interface of this app, but if the setup process was a bit less troublesome, I would definitely recommend this app to anyone using SoundCloud. But even the app isn’t always functional. It’s a 50-50 chance of it wanting to connect with my AirPods automatically or not. When it doesn’t, it’s stuck loading and the only way to fix it is force restarting the watch. This is something that makes me want to steer clear of this app at times. Overall I don’t think this app is worth its asking price. The setup process is unoptimized, and the app doesn’t even work sometimes!

Well. Like the other reviews, signing in is an absolute pain, but the developer doesn’t exactly have any control of that. My big issue is that even after the pain of setting it up and logging in and restarting my watch, music. Will not. Play. All my playlists and favorited songs are there and I can click them. But nothing plays, and I would love to get in contact with the developer to fix this, but after half an hour of clicking all the links on this page and looking through them all, I have no clue how to do that…

HypeMachine on Apple Watch. With the HypeMachine to Soundcloud sync, this is the most affordable way to listen to HypeMachine favorites on an Apple Watch. The other option is Spotify playlist bridge and Spotify Premium subscription, but even a single month subscription supercedes the $8 Mac purchase + $3 Watch purchase. This app works as described, and on-boarding was seamless.

Requires reCAPTCHA That Doesn’t Display. So I’m trying to log in with my SoundCloud account on iWatch 7 but it’s requiring me to check the reCAPTCHA box which doesn’t display on the screen. How do select it if it’s not displaying? Link for app support isn’t working so I thought maybe this review get some attention. 🤷🏻‍♂️

GARBAGE APP. Like others below, I purchased this app thinking I could get my SoundCloud music to synch up to my watch. After I downloaded the app on my watch it told me to sign in on my Mac (which I did) and sync up my iCloud Drive which I did. The App store on my Mac realized this app had already been purchased and allowed me to sign in. However, when go into my app it still says that I have no account - despite doing everything request and the app working on my Mac. This issue seems to be consistent... the developer should either fix the issue or stop offering the app in the watch store. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

Kinda Works. First of all, I’m grateful that this app exists. The fact that SoundCloud doesn’t have their own watch app is pretty ridiculous. Now, as for this app … There simply HAS to be a better way to let people sign in from their phones and connect to the watch for authentication purposes. Forcing people to authenticate in Safari on the watch is … not acceptable. Separately, the app seems flaky. It had trouble connecting to my AirPods until I switched to another watch app and then back again. But, it does kinda work, and now I can go on a run and stream from SoundCloud. If I could authenticate from my phone, I’d give it 4 stars. If it was reliable and not flaky, I’d give it 5.

Not perfect, but it works!. The setup is a bit complicated as other users have pointed out, but once that is done, the app works well and you can stream SoundCloud on your AppleWatch - which really matters! Thanks for creating the app! 👍

Brilliant - a must have for SoundCloud / applewatch users. The lack of a native soundcloud app on the applewatch has been a huge black hole in the apple ecosystem - especially you want to listen to streaming mixes away from your phone. This app plugs that hole and does so elegantly and reliably. A great value add for the apple watch for very good value. Highly recommended

Hoax app. Does not work. Would not recommend. Charged me $21.00 also when I purchased on my Apple Watch.

Zero stars. What a terrible app. Couldn’t log in due to captcha form, tried logging in via Facebook, crashes to blank screen. Followed troubleshooting advice to reinstall and there is no option to reinstall with the buy button on the app greyed out. Give me my money back.

Does let you log in. Downloaded it for my new Apple Watch after multiple attempts to log in I gave up and deleted the app … Facebook you enter your email and password and screen freezes , Apple ID once you’ve entered it there’s no button to click go and enter it to submit it and google only works if your Soundcloud app is linked with a google account

Not working. Downloaded Bluestax emulator on windows pc to access google play store but can’t even find daft cloud on there. Does this app actually work? Can someone please let me know how to contact for support? Thanks

Works great. You have to enable your Soundcloud account for Apple or Google-based sign in and login once on the Watch. Once this is done the app works reliably for browsing your likes and playlists and streaming over cellular. You can also seek within long tracks with the Digital Crown. Recommended!

Downloadable feature needed. Hey man. Glad you brought SoundCloud to Iwatch, but after buying this app I realize it has no use to me. I need to be able to download my playlists on SoundCloud. I can’t stand working with a phone on my pocket, so I keep it in my lunch pale when I cut lawns. However it won’t playback unless I’m in range of my phone which makes this pointless. Oh well , looks like I’ll have to cancel soundcloud and use Apple Music for electronic music radio shows

As good as Official Soundcloud would have been!!. Been using this app for about 2-3 weeks. Very simple and feature rich interface. I can play the latest stream from the artists I follow or just play my favourite playlists or the the tunes I liked. The best part is that you can scrub through the track just like on a phone. Pretty stable with my Series 6 Cellular watch . Now, I can finally utilize my watch data rather than just be dependent on Apple Music or Spotify subscriptions. Kudos to the dev. The only thing I found negative was that the previous & next track buttons aren't that responsive. Many a times have to hit them with a lot of precision. Would be nice if the interface was more sensitive around that area or just those buttons be bigger. Other than the app is perfect for your evening runs😎

Really Nice App With Sign-in Issues. Thanks for creating this app! It’s unfortunate the initial experience with the app, signing-in, is so frustrating. The app itself is well thought out and does what it claims to do. Listening to SoundCloud over cellular without an iPhone, cool! I understand some users may only have the watch, but because the Apple Watch screen is so small, the developer should have other options for users to sign in to their SoundCloud account. Maybe with the Mac app or use the Watch app on iPhone. I literally spent hours trying to sign-in unsuccessfully. Finally I managed to figure it out. The issue is the mini browser won’t allow scrolling to the bottom of webpages to tap necessary buttons . It’s nearly impossible to scroll a whole page to get to “Trust this browser?” when signing in with Apple using two-factor authentication. I wish I could spend more time reviewing the merits of the app, but this is a glaring user experience issue. The developer should try signing in with Apple using 2FA to see the issue for himself. I’m happy to change my review if this issue is resolved. Otherwise, it really is a one-of-a-kind app nicely designed.
