No Clue. No clue how good it works or doesn’t; the ability to close out of pop ups is broken on the iPhone XS and 11 so the app essentially locks up indefinitely when you try to use it.

Expensive. Software is nice!.. I like it but I believe it is pretty expensive for a monthly subscription.

Wonderful for photographers!1. I’ve been using the App Store since it came out in the original iPhone. I’ve only left one other review in over 12 years. I feel this particular piece of software deserves all the phrase that’s lavished on it. I’ve taken professional photos from my hard drive and played around with the settings and tweet the AI art and the results are nothing short of phenomenal. There is so many options, ways of painting, pastels, pencils, etc. This is really an amazing way to see your photos again.

Charges you over $5 when you use a free trial. I accepted a free three day trial and was charged for a month within a few hours of the trial starting. Do not download, and do not do their trial.

Scam.. Don’t even bother. Free to download but won’t work unless you pay a monthly fee.

Terrible. Same picture shows up for different photos. Complete waste of money.

Neat app paid version to expensive. I can’t imagine too many people wanting to pay a monthly subscription for this app. It might be worth a onetime fee of $5. Most people would get tired off it.

Van Gogh and such. I actually thoroughly enjoy this app! I have no complaints, I enjoy playing around with photos and this app is fun and perfect for that!!

Shaky. Constant “Face not found” alerts. In one case it was with a phot that had worked earlier. Woukd gladly have mase the IAP if it worked reliably.

It works. It’s cool.. Nifty little app that probably sends your likeness to the Russians and they’re now making a super spy clone of you.

This app is AMAZING. So I’ve tried using those fake “Portraits to cartoons” apps, there as bad as they sound. I wanted to change my user photo on Steam so for some reason instead of just drawing my own photo (again), I decided to try one of these apps (again), I searched up “Portrait to Drawing” in the search bar and one of the first ones that I saw was this one. I thought “uuughhh why am I doing this again” and tapped on it, then I proceeded to download it, I was extremely surprised when I opened it, because it works amazing! I currently have drawing of myself for my Steam profile. Thanks Alportraits!

Eh. I only signed up for the Renaissance paintings and there are not any. The options are basically nonexistent. Don’t bother!

A joke as far as free version is concerned. The number of ads on every click and the ads themselves have no X button that works most of the time. Even for some of effects it just puts your face on the sample picture doesn’t matter what gender you are. Very poor.

Cute app but not for a subscription fee. I’d gladly pay under $10 to get the full version but not a monthly subscription fee for it. But it works fairly well. Some of the filters make everything way too dark but definitely different and interesting filters on there.

Good app with a glitch. The glitch for me that i am unable to choose many photos. It just throws me out

Buyer beware. First, awful app. Second, advertised “free for 3 days’. Cancelled within minutes, and I was still charged for a month. Complete scam. And it does not deliver what it promises.

Not that good. Monthly payment (automatically) - no way. And only few thorps looks good. But idea is not bad and easy to use

AIPortraits. This app was overadvertised as an extremely useful and fun app. It has no value and I would like a refund.

How can i get a REFUND?. Purchased this useless app and had no idea how to cancel my subscription now it’s charged me and i’m worried it’ll charge me again next month even though i had already deleted it. Customer service was just as useless. Don’t even bother wasting time with this app it makes your pictures look CHEESEY and the opposite of “artistic” 👎🏼

App won’t load. When I open the app it sits at a window with colored circles.. after a while it says there’s an error and nothing loads. 1 star… especially for that absurd, instructive subscription pop up. Restoring in-app purchases does nothing as well…

Not great. The filters are not adjustable or customizable and some don’t work. This app is okay, but not worth a monthly subscription. Kind of disappointing.

Go Pro. Free app is neat but only 4 or 5 background for men. What do you get for $4.99 with Go Pro? The app doesn’t tell you!

It user friendly. I couldn’t even use the link they provide to ask for help. If someone can steer me to directions on how to use this app, I would be grateful!

Too much fun. I am a part-time photographer and I love it. It can take a blah iPhone photo into a work of art. Only bad thing about this, it’s addictive

Buggy - cannot open to bring in new pictures. Should be easy and should be a menu item.. Much too difficult to add more pictures to edit. Should be a lot simpler.

Well, it’s darn entertaining.. It’s a pretty fun app! I even paid for pro, and while I don’t regret it, I feel like there could be improvements. The options are still pretty limited, and there’s no real organization for the filters or anything as far as I can tell.

Art?!?. After reading a Vox article on the app, I was expecting a decent collection of portraits from the canon of Western art, but it’s mostly just trash that looks more at home on the walls of a Best Western.

Wonderful Variety of Options!. It is a fun option for cards or a creative memory to frame and share! It is an easy app to figure out! Fast results!

Neat effects but has major issues. Impossible to use any image other than the very first image upload. Stuck with live camera only afterwards.

Really like but having problems. I love this program but I’m having trouble. I have a couple of favorites I like to use and they sometimes show up and sometimes disappear plus I have trouble loading my photos into the app. Sometimes I can access my photos and sometimes I can’t. Can’t figure out why it is so inconsistent

Ads as far as the eye can see and ears can hear. Too many ads. Uninstalled after five minutes because of noisy pop up ads. Leaving this review to warn others that the ads are obnoxious. I get that the free version is free, but they don’t have to make the ads so invasive.

Not worth it. So amateur and disappointing.. App has very little to offer. Waste of $5.00 and my time. It does not do as advertised. How can I get a refund.

Beware: Cannot cancel monthly Subscription. Free app was okay. But once you subscribe, the $5 monthly re-curring fee is impossible to cancel. Like most legit apps, this makes it impossible to cancel subscription. Shady in my opinion.

Good but pricey for its limitations. I think this app is great for some fun portrait designs but the $5 per month price is far too much for what it offers

Cost vs output. I very much like this little app but there are two issues I have. 1. Even though there are some great filters this app is not worth near $5 monthly subscription costs. At best a one time charge of no more than $25. Also needs a clean up brush to paint in or out wanted/unwanted areas in the processed photo. 2. I know you call this a portrait art app but I would like to see it applied to any photos and in particular pet photos. It seems all these apps want to concentration on human subjects and even then it’s geared to the female side of the spectrum. Step up your game a couple of notches and you will have one of the best apps out there for the phone photo people out there.

Made me look like Freddy Krueger - terrible. Most free portraits make you look like freddy krueger with slashed face. Absolutely AWFULLY

Poor selection of pictures. This app does not do a good job of doing what it says it should. You don’t have many selections of “classic paintings” to use, and as much as I hate to admit, apps like Snapchat and Facebook do a much better job with face filters than this app does. And that’s all it is, filters for your pictures for a monthly subscription.
