Probably the best pac man game I ever seen. Ok me and my dad got it and it was so funnn! You can eat other pac men also can you add all 4 ghost in a round? THIS WAS A MISTAKE. it’s not inappropriate i payed 78:99 dollars just for my kid to enjoy but it was inappropriate because the yellow thing was eating and dovouring the little gohsts and it was killing them and he was going around and eating balls and that makes me feel uncomfortable for me and my family idk but do you think i should get a hamburger in tuesday ? because i think i’m going to get hungry anyways idk why i should have to write this review on sunday may 14 at 8:12 and i need to know who made that song it’s so loud and my naighburs came and threw my fone on the ground and it shattered the screen and i had to go to the store and get a new one and re buy the game just to write this riview not acceptable-love me

Tip move too quick. I love this game! Lots of fun and interesting boards. The only problem is, when I start a new game and a tip shows up, it comes and goes so fast that I cannot read it. As a result I think my game suffers because I don’t know what yo look out for or what to do to optimize my game. I have tried to take a screen shot, I have tried to pause the game, but nothing works. The tip simply moves way too fast. I hope with an update they slow that down so it’s readable. Or at least store some helpful tips someplace for future reference. The ones offered online are not the same as the tips that top up at the start of a new game. So again, I hope this problem can be resolved with a future update.

Not responsive. This could be a fun game in adventure mode but the swipe control is just not responsive enough.

It’s good but it could use some more. PAC man party Royale is a good game but I feel like it could use some more 1. I wish you could add skins to make you character look better for an example with the dragon set you could also get a bonus red scale skin ti make it look more like a dragon 2. There needs to be a way to get Xp/Exp faster the weekly quests are good but once your level 10 you can only get like one level 3. This is the last one I think you should add a way to add more quests like add a gem system so every win you get 1 gem and play 3 games per day to get a bonus gem like after you do a quest it would cost 10 gems for another quest for weekly quests it would be 50 gems 4. That’s all the recommended thing I would like you to add and I love your game and that’s all

Please fix bugs. I think this has potential to be a really cool game, but there are a lot of bugs in it. For starters, a certain part of level one is impossible to win even if you get a perfect score it still says try again. Level two is fine and then somewhere in level3 I think the last stage again it’s impossible to win. And then for the character customizer I don’t know if I’m doing it wrong, but I can’t turn the Pac-Man blue

Bugs Fixes. When U click quick play it starts the game with no Pac-Man, and just Blinky. if you click the arrow, it’s no maze and then I’ll glitch you out

Please fix Quick Play, and teams would be nice (please read developers). Remember how, before the recent update, we could play as green, pink and blue? We could also have one on ones or one on twos in Quick Play, right? Not now. We no longer have those buttons underneath the PAC-MEN meaning we cannot switch characters or have a specific amount of characters in a match. It’s always: you’re yellow, four players, that’s it! Please bring back those buttons so Quick Play can have variety again. For Party mode and Quick Play, can we have teams? Like two versus twos or one versus twos, and one team can be humans playing and the other team can be CPUs. This is a suggestion, so I’m not forcing you to do it. It would be incredibly nice if you did it though. Extremely good update without the Quick Play thing!

Best game in Apple Arcade!. Ok, first of all, this game is fun. It gets fun with modes and etc, but, there can be more improvements and features that will really make it fun. When I play this game with somebody else, sometimes it randomly disconnects them. Even though they never pressed the pause button, which gets kinda annoying when you have to wait for the host just to play it again. Can there be a thing where you don’t just wait for the host? Like, the person who paused it AND the host can unpause it? That would be cool. Another thing is when you are ghost and you touch a pac you become a pac again. That is really nice. But, one day I was playing with somebody and when I was a ghost, I touched the pac, and it did nothing. They didn’t have the super pallet, they did not get touched by Itchy, just a normal pac! I went to go and touch another pac, and suddenly it worked. It was not that big of a problem, but if you can fix that, awesome. And can you add more modes and levels? It would be fun. Thanks for reading this, it would really make the game more fun and addictive than it actually is. Thanks!

I Just Can’t…. I’ve played this game since its release, but the last few updates—especially the most recent—have made the game TERRIBLY worse. For starters, I’m encountering even MORE server disconnection issues than usual (which is a complaint almost everyone in the reviews is having). The game has also become EXTREMELY more glitchy; there were a few bugs—when playing online—but now it’s to the point that no matter where you are on the screen when someone uses the ‘air strike’ power-up, you automatically die. Additionally, the controls are even worse than usual; the “delayed” turn “feature” was already horrible to begin with, but this last update has made it even more preposterous. Also, even after you complete a seasonal challenge—anytime you re-load the game—it’s says “you still have unclaimed rewards” even though there’s nothing to claim. And, one bug that STILL hasn’t been fixed from day: EVERY TIME you open the game it asks you to turn on notifications… even if you have them turned on (which is the reason I turned them off). All these issues occur on all my devices: tv, iPad, and iPhone. The one thing I feel is a nice “addition” is that the game FINALLY saves your previously saved outfit when you re-open the game. Other than that, there are A LOT of bugs and server issues that need to be rectified to make this game playable again.

Too many bug and issues - lost all progress. Error with data corruption in slot 1. Although you can start over with another slot you lose you progress. Given others reporting the issue without remediation would recommend not playing this game until developers address bugs and stability issues.

Great at the beginning!. Loved the game at first, but now it’s becoming a little monotonous. It has great potential! Just feel it could use a little more. I’ve made it to rank legendary 7 and this is where it has become monotonous. The length of time it takes to achieve the next legendary rank only grows longer as it seems there is no “final rank” since it appears you’re getting close to an “end rank” when only another legendary level appears that takes even longer to achieve with no bonuses to be had. And there are frequent glitches. I’ve lost all of my dressing room items twice now. So I’m at legendary rank 7 with one hat, that’s A LOT of repetitive games for no reward. I think a great idea would be to allow faster achievement of dressing room items as you further your rank. And of course repair of the glitches such as repeated loss of dressing room items, freezing up during mid-game and the electric field option I’ve noticed recently takes more than one time of touching another Pac-Man before it actually takes them out. Some larger and varied mazes would be great too! It seems repetitive with the same few mazes when you’re having to play 75+ games to reach the next legendary level.

Not classic. They ruin a perfectly good classic game ! Apple Arcade is just plain boring!

Improving scoring system.. Love this game as it takes you back to a long gone era. Some issues that can easily be resolved: First, there are people somehow cheating on the scoring. I have picture proof of this. Ok so maybe they don’t cheat and it is a glitch but I can assure you that there’s something fishy going on. Beyond that, the scoring is linear. You get 5 points for a win and one for a loss. No additional reward for winning streaks. So the person playing the most will always be higher ranked. That makes it difficult to compete if your time is limited. Rewarding streaks, and also the speed of victory and a few other items such as winning with the fewest pellets eaten or not using magic pellet and winning would enhance the experience and increase player participation. As things are now, there are 2-3 players that consistently win every week, not because of their skills but because of spending more time than anyone else playing. As a result most people don’t bother playing when they have no shot of placing. Player participation would be much higher if these issues are addressed.

Achievements glitchy an reward glitch. A couple of achievement glitches I can’t get the weekly goal achievements even though I do them everytime it auto claims it and gives it to u at the end of the week I think the fact I can’t click the claim button is the problem fix this I plan on being the best

Bug, glitches, and crashes galore!. Before the season 2 update (or timing?) it was a pretty fun game to play. Now you’re frequently kicked out of the game lobby, network issues during game play lead to players not being synced up, and tasks aren’t logged properly. As of right now, I can’t even get into the game, as the game crashes right after the title screen and closes the app. Fun times! I’m pretty sure this is related to the task, usually when there’s network issues, you don’t get marks for tasks, but the last time I played it said I completed it (eat 8 power pellets), I thought maybe I had miscounted and hit claim. After that I couldn’t get back into the season section, it would just crash instead. The next day, I couldn’t get into the game at all. So a warning for all to be wary about the game’s count of your task completion.

Glitchy (character). I personally love the character glitchy/glitch I think in custom match you should be able to put glitchy inside your match and you can also customize some stuff about glitchy such as how fast he moves and maybe you could even have a pac man skin that looks like glitchy

So fun but... PAC man party is so fun but maybe you can make a sequel of this it will still have multiplayer and have different worlds and levels power ups and 8 bosses, 8 worlds and bosses and maybe have new ghost and a mode called arcade mode it will be the original Pac-Man but party royale style instead of 8 bits, the original colored ghosts the energizer as original and a another mode called 256 mode, the mode of hipster whale Pac-Man 256 but party royale style same things in and the power ups the ghosts and that’s all of it so promise me you will make this on June, okay Apple Arcade? Please so byeeee and the color does not work

My Save Slot Got Corrupted. The game play is very good when the bugs get squashed enough to play. My save slot got corrupted, so I have to start at the beginning with the first level and no rewards. This would be a five star game if it didn’t crash and corrupt my save slot.

Potentially fun, but needs work. This game runs on a solid concept for a quick-play, multiplayer Pac-man, and is already helped a lot by a cute art-style and appropriately energetic music. But there are two major problems holding this game back from being a fun as it could be. The first and most obvious problem is the lack of matchmaking. An app that bets its value on multiplayer loses a lot of that value when it relies on you to have three friends that have (1) an iOS device, (2) an Apple Arcade subscription, (3) the game and (4) an availability and desire to play with you. I understand the goal is to add a matchmaking feature, but we don’t know when. The second major problem: the controls are not responsive enough. When compared to the other popular Pac-Man game on this App Store, 256, it’s particularly noticeable that Pac-Man doesn’t change directions as fast as you may want him too. This may be deliberate (each match starts at a slow pace before speeding up), but the delay between swipe and movement kinda makes the game feel like it’s fighting against you on a functional level. This game has the potential to be a fun staple in Arcade’s lineup, so here’s hoping future updates will get it there. For now, though, Pac-Man fans may want to get their fix elsewhere.

It’s fun but…. I think that a match is a bit too short but otherwise fun to play with friends also it crashes sometimes

My save file is corrupted , literally unplayable!. My save file says it’s corrupted! Please send help! And my save file is inaccessible, I can’t delete it, and it sometimes crashes when starting up the game! It says please play another save file until the developers fix this issue.

Too many connection problems and crashes. Fails to connect to Battle Arena about a third of the time. Other times it will lose connection in the middle of a game for several seconds or longer then just come back to life. And recently it has just been crashing out of the app completely. That’s what I’ve noticed having played this game for a while and really grinding at it 30–60 minutes a day for about a month. It’d be nice if they expanded the maps with larger “mega-maps” with areas that scroll out of view or some maps with open, free-roaming(-ish) areas. Otherwise it’s starting to feel a little monotonous.

Why they should change the age rating. A pretty fun game but it should be a higher age rating for multiplayer because in multiplayer you play with people yo don’t know or you can create a party and invite your friend but they could not have it so yea it’s still fun and all

This needs more updates. I don’t want new seasons to happen when you already got the stuff from the season, and it always takes the stuff that you got from the other season. It takes it away.😭😭

Good game but needs work. (DEVELOPERS PLEASE READ). I love this game. The graphics, art style, and UI all look modern and the gameplay is super addictive! The only problem I have with the game is the battle arena mode. You have leagues which is cool and this game is perfect for it, but it gets ruined when about a quarter of the time you’re fighting robots. You see, you get to see the player name before you enter the map. The names I keep seeing say JOEL4EVER and FREEEAGLE. I thought they were real people but they aren’t. You know once a player eats Itchy (the green phantom looking ghost.) once it shows what power down that player gets next to it it shows the a Pac bot icon instead of the normal pac man icon. This makes fighting battles less rewarding. You will find real people to battle, but very rarely. The AI makes it super easy to super frustrating quickly. Meaning that the game is adverting you fight real people but in reality you aren’t. False advertising. This game isn’t bad, I just wish they could fix this experience destroying problem.

Needs more content.. This game is phenomenal. The visuals and controls are great. The only problem is the fact that there’s nothing to do. You can only play Party Mode with your friends that have Apple Arcade and are nearby. There’s a Quick Play mode that pitches you up against AI, but it’s not rewarding in the slightest. There are no collectibles or costumes of sorts. I feel like this game needs more single player content, unlockables, and please, random online multiplayer! It’s not common for someone to have multiple friends paying for Apple Arcade that are close by. Let us join parties from around the world. I have nothing to do in the game, aside from repeatedly playing Quick Play for nothing. Maybe there could be a trophy system? Gain trophies for online wins and go up the ladder? Player levels that could be raised from winning online? This game has an immense amount of potential. I hope we can see more reasons to hop back into the game in the near future!

i hate this. world 2 mission 3 is literally impossible. i keep trying over and over again and i always get to 40. don’t think about getting 3 stars in that one.

It’s not fun when you can’t even win against hard AIs. i hope you’re okay with playing this game for hours to beat one level, some of these levels are rigged, it’ll take a lot of luck, not skills to beat a level and basically a miracle to get 3 stars, if that isn’t bad, i hope you’re okay with glitchy and downright unplayable controls at times

Glitch. I got up to the Diamond III level and the game restarts whenever I turn into a ghost! If you don’t want your players to reach the final level, just say that. Frustrating! Notification says to wait for developers to fix the error. There must be a backlog because it has been glitching like this for the past 24 hours!

Repetitive, unable to listen to music while playing. Gameplay is repetitive with little variety in powerups. Most frustrating is that the game force pauses music apps, only allowing you to listen to the game music or silence.

Great game but. The one down side to this is that you have to pay 5 dollars a month to play i like this game but im not willing to pay 5 bucks a month for apple arcade only for a few games it honestly would have been a good idea if it costed 5 dollars upfront thats just an opinion not a fact

Polished yet buggy. Looks great. Feels great. Sounds great. Otherwise, it has some annoying bugs, such as not saving settings like turning off music, no saving emotes settings, resetting season progress with no warning.

it’s fun for a minute. i play this game on an iPhone 11. every other game i play on this phone runs absolutely fine. THIS one in particular seems to have an outstanding amount of issues though. my games constantly glitch and freeze, a lot of times to the point where the entire game crashes. this happens in the MIDDLE of my games! sometimes i don’t even get to start playing before the game freezes up and crashes on me. i checked to see if i needed an update and i did. so i updated the app 5 minutes ago in hopes that it would run better and solve the issues and it didn’t. my game is still lagging, still freezing, and still crashing. it honestly makes it no fun at all.

Terrible. Pac-man is such a simple game, I wouldn’t have thought it was possible to mess it up so badly. Unfun and almost unplayable. Instead of a snappy directional response when flicking the direction you want to go you get a painfully slow and doughy meander that sometimes goes the direction you wanted. A few times I’m trying to quickly go one way to avoid death only for my character to literally go the other way. Why even let the character move diagonally in this game? You can never actually go anywhere on a diagonal. So you try and go right and now you’re walking into a wall instead of away from the ghost. It could be fine if it was at all responsive, and had diagonal movement disabled. But unless that happens just download Pac-Man classic and save yourself some wasted time

Who needs a tutorial for Pac-Man?!. Why is this mandatory?

It needs more to the game. I would like it if u made it so u could equip different Pac-Mans or do it so u can unlock variety’s of Pac-Man. U could add it so we could unlock maps as well just like the normal Pac-Man. Maybe add a bit more game modes maybe like where someone is a ghost and they have to get all the Pac-Man before time runs out. This game is kinda meh not bad but not the best just add more things to it like what I said and the game could be better! So add it so u can unlock HUGE variety’s of Pac-mans like robot pac man maybe water or fire Pac-Man just or BIO Pac-Man or u could customise ur Pac-Man with costumes.

Great game really recommend. I think this game get way to much bad reviews, but I really recommend it especially because. It’s fun to play when you are bored, fun to play with family and friends and it is fun in general.

Very fun, but needs more. Love it... very fun gameplay. Had most fun with the game in couch co-op on Apple TV! But I think you could keep people engaged if you add the following: - Online multiplayer matches! Please!!!! - Ability to unlock PAC skins - A more extensive single-player mode Performance is great across my iPhone XR, iPad Pro, Apple TV 4K, and 13” MacBook Pro. Well done! :)

Flakey multiplayer. Seemed like a fun concept the one or two times we got multiplayer to work but mostly it just errors out. Not sure how this made it into  Arcade.

New update coming up?. I love playing this game, but ever since I try connecting to battle arena it glitches after 2 games or at random sometimes. This doesn’t happen when I’m playing adventure game mode. I hope someone fixes the glitches cause I really enjoy playing this game.

Battle Royale is buggy. Battle Royale could be so awesome. Firstly, the game doesn’t keep the screen alive, so it often falls asleep if I’m waiting 1 minute or more to match. The amount of time it takes to match with 3 other players seems almost an eternity. Perhaps there aren’t enough people playing yet? I’m constantly dealing with battles that fail or network errors. Don’t swipe down from the top by mistake because the game will not resume and you’ll be kicked off with a connection error. I expect some bugs, but this is a little excessive. Looking forward to future updates.

Meh. It’s a cute game and I like the idea but there are a bunch of irritating issues. The biggest one has to be the lack of matchmaking for multiplayer. Additionally the controls are very laggy. PacMan should be able to turn on a dime, but instead he feels kind of drunk or something.

Local multiplayer requires multiple devices. The game is ok, but my main gripe is that local multiplayer requires multiple devices (with different Game Center accounts!). I don’t understand why single-device multiplayer wasn’t implemented. Graphics are ‘ok’ but not more. Controls with an Xbox controller is ‘ok’, albeit often difficult to turn. Overall, unfortunately, it’s a disappointing game. Hopefully they’ll improve it over time?

This game is terrible.. I had high hopes for this game because it was number two on the arcade download list... I’m so disappointed! This game is awful. I have kept it for much longer than I should have, always returning, hopeful that there was a glitch and it would run smoothly the next time around. It never does improve. I simply can not make my Pac-Man go the way that I want it to. I’ve tried all sorts of techniques and yet I still get turned around and I end up dying. It’s ridiculous and I’m deleting it now. I wouldn’t suggest downloading this game!

Update moves me back in levels. I played and won about 100 times and when this new update happened I had to go back to the bronze even though I was at gold.

Really fun game. Needs online though.. I love playing bots in most online enabled games before I jump into the fray and play people who most likely will destroy me but it’s still a good laugh. Maybe it’s just me but I can’t find the online menu other then some friend code kinda thing and I don’t have any friends..I have a hot wife but no friends..go figure. This game starts out slow but once the glitch kicks in and the speed is cranked up..that’s where this game shines. I wish there was a way for the gameplay to start up in a faster mode because it feels sluggish after playing in the cranked up glitch part. But other then that..great game. Quick bursts of fun.

It’s good but. I do love the game but it’s getting a little annoying with how much the game crashes or has network issues. It glitches and freezes and has a hard time connecting you to other players and when it does sometimes everyone is glitching all over the place or no one gets to move. Needs some work. Could be a really awesome game if these issues got worked out.

Good but could be better. Having only one mode essentially is kinda boring, there needs to be more to do or play, bigger maps even more players, different abilities, new modes, casual mode without having to invite people, and energizer needs a nerf, it’s essentially the best power up and while laser and missile you can dodge and strategically avoid, energizer is almost a guranteed win for anyone who gets it especially early game, also allow people to use coins or something to unlock clothing quicker

Super buggy, crashes. Tried to play this game with my kids and ended up giving up. I have a phone and iPad so I have one device to one of my kids to play, and it wouldn’t let us play together because they share the same Game Center account? Pretty lame. Also installed it on other devices and experienced multiple crashes which prevented us from playing with more than 2 players in party mode.

Great game, but…. I love this game so much, and I play it a lot. There is 1 problem that affects the game. When I try to change the color of my PAC-MAN, I go to a game and I’m still the same color as before. And the color only changes if someone I’m doing a multiplayer party with creates the party first. I don’t know if it’s a glitch or a problem with my device? Please try to fix, thanks!

Review. This is my review about pac man party royale: Positives: - decent graphics - quick play mode is good for offline play - no micro transactions or adds, like any other Apple Arcade games. - loading times are short - good customization options - multiple maps Negatives: - this game is unfaithful to the pac man series. Instead of power pellets, it’s a piece of candy. Instead of give you points, the cherry gives you invisibility ( although it’s better then getting points ). - pac man when not in ball form looks weird In conclusion: Pac man PR is a great game with its unique gameplay and graphics but its unfaithful to its source material. Grade: B/great

Best Local Multiplayer on Apple TV. This is probably the best local multiplayer game on Apple Arcade. We play it on Apple TV with two PS4 controllers and it runs really well. The game is easy/quick to setup for local multiplayer (Apple Arcade needs more games that are quick and easy to setup for local multiplayer). Plus the game is actually pretty fun.

Download if you want to add stress to your life. While I enjoy Pac-man I do not enjoy this app. It crashes all the time, it glitches frequently, there are cheaters, I’ve worked hard to earn progress that is erased. And support is cumbersome. there are other Pac-Man versions to explore but this app has ruined even the love of pac-man. I doubt enjoy could last pass 10minutes before the aforementioned long standing problems impedes your fun.

All right. This game is great really know that entertaining it’s all right I guess it’s fun to play with sometimes I get bored you give me a so so so so so so so so frustrating really. I guess it’s really fun but not too fun. like if you got it and you didn’t like it that much I would still keep it it’s still fun to play. I haven’t seen much of the game so I don’t really think there’s any ads. there’s not much of the game. you’re not much to say. that’s why I live at three stars.

Really has potential. My wife and I play this together using Game Center. We enjoy it a good bit, however we both agree it would be great if each player had a score. Also add in the cherries and other little charms for point bonuses. And finally if we get all the dots we should progress to a new level. Bots. I think they should try to make the bots be a little more easier because I keep losing and it makes me rage no offense to any pros but I just think they should either make the bots easier or an easy game mode (for starters) well without that I would say the game is pretty much great like I can’t stop playing it.

Crashes / Bugs. I used to have fun with this game but lately it seems to have so many glitches and bugs. For the last week or so, I can’t even play it (the entire app just crashes both on iPhone and Apple TV). Before that, for about a month I would just randomly die even if a missile didn’t hit me, and a number of other bugs. Hoping they are fixing it but for now it’s not possible to even play it.

Developers - please read 🙏. I have ideas and a complaint I want to say. Ideas: We need more fruits than just the cherry. I have a couple of ideas: - The Strawberry: lets you pass through other pacmen without bumping into them. - The Peach: lets you freely eat other ghosts. (Like the inverse of the bait effect) - The Apple: makes you immune to damage, except from Itchy, who targets anyone that has this effect The complaint I have though: PLEASE FIX AIR STRIKE ON LAGGY MATCHES!!! The collision on these just doesn’t work right, and there have been so many unfair losses because someone dies to a mine that was nowhere near them or seemingly despawned already. Please find a way to fix this or maybe temporarily remove it because the powerup is beyond broken at this point :( Anyway i love this game ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Parental controls ruin the game. It seems my three kids can’t enjoy this game either because of the poorly implemented controls. They love the game, but like nearly every other game, they can’t easily jump in and play with each other. I want to prevent them from accessing the App Store without losing the ability to simply play multiplayer.

Good game but could improve. I like this game and it is very fun but I would add a few things to make it better. First of all you should add a brawl/multiplayer mode where you can play with other people without inviting each other to a party. Secondly, I think that you should be able to choose in quick play mode (at least) which ghosts chase you, meaning any combination of the 5 ghosts in pac-man. Other than that this is a pretty good game.

Funnest game. Just tons of bugs. I love playing this with my kids. Just really tire of it glitching. Not like the game supposed to. It lets Pac-Man go into walls sometimes. Sometimes you can turn. Also when you connect controllers. Sometimes they works. Sometime they don’t. It’s not the Apple TV because the controller works there. Just when you go into the game. The controller just doesn’t work. Especially if you touch the Apple TV remote!

Good game, very glitchy. I really enjoy this game and think it is a lot of fun to play. However, there are a lot of glitches that make gameplay rather difficult. I often have to wait for several minutes in order to get a game to work and in many cases it takes several attempts at getting the game to start. Once it gets going, it is a lot of fun.

Need something. First of all it’s a great game but if you can add a shop to buy pac man skins like for example for skins you can add a blue pac man stuff like that and get pac coins for winning quick play in each round second of all why in quick you have to be the regular pac man cause it’s getting old why can’t you just choose what pac man you want to be?Last is why are the AI in the game easy to beat why can’t you just make it harder oh by the way try to add multiplayer if you can.

One star intill they had public rooms. I would love to play this with friends but I would also love to play this with anyone esle too. Playing with bots is pointless as they don’t even make smart moves. This game need to add public rooms or just have a world mode that allows random players to play. Not having anyone online right now makes this game pointless. Don’t know how they dropped the ball like this. I mean when is the last time four of your friends were in the same place and wanted to play a game on the phone. The PS4 would be out. Lol. Step it up and make this a social game not a “halo” LAN party game.

Fun, BUT…. I had a fun time playing this game however, I needed to play with AI. This is supposed to be a party game but Apple Arcade limits this. It is rare to find multiple people at a party with Apple Arcade, so you can’t play with each other. I wish there was a free version where there was a host with Apple Arcade and others could join a room. Or, at least have a game mode where you can play with people online so you don’t have to play against AI.

Good game but.... You guys should definitely do like a split screen like half the screen is one of the controls and the other is other players controll but I say you should also add like a team setting or something like that but any ways it’s a great game I recommend you should play it

Responsiveness. This game could be great but the controls are so delayed and non responsive. If I swipe up you see the actual arrow on Pac-Man pointing up but he still goes straight.... or I swipe a direction and there is a delay in when he moves. It got really annoying to try to play so I uninstalled it. I’ll reinstall once the controls have been properly calibrated. 2 stars because I really wanted to love it and because I see the potential.

Great fun with friends. Super fast matchmaking. Easy & fun gameplay. Yes, you currently need to have friends rather than play against strangers but that was exactly what I was looking for, so 🤷🏻‍♂️. One star off because it needs edge protection turned on so I don’t constantly pause the game by accidentally swiping down Notification Center.

Yes finally!. Finally arena mode was added! This was the main thing missing from the game, and I’m glad it was put in. The only thing that I think should be put in is just maps and modes, really just more content to play. Otherwise, this game really improved and is in my opinion an enjoyable game.

Great Game but doesn’t connect online. This is a great game and one of the most fun arcade games on Apple Arcade. However, it has some real issues when trying to connect with friends online. It seems to work over a local WiFi but trying to play with my friends over distances has been impossible and an exercise in frustration. I wrote a support email and didn’t get a reply. So I’m posting this review push the developers to fix this problem. UPDATE: we’re all on the newest version of the game. The issue is with long distance connections. I can connect with people close to me. It doesn’t work with friends in a different country.

Fun to Play, But Has a Few Issues / Suggested Improvements. Very fun, frenetic gameplay with local friends! However, it regularly glitches out in location / placement updates of the characters during multiplayer. Sometimes a player will jump through a ghost or bumping two players together will bump one player somewhere unpredictable. Would love to see the following improvements, too: 1. Cherries and other fruit - where are they? 2. The power pills start in the same place on each map, which means that people can lurk / predict - why not make it completely random? 3. If you become a ghost early on in the game, you have no chance of speeding up and catching the other players, who are all getting faster by eating the pellets - why not have a way for a ghost player to also get faster? 4. The swipe controls definitely still need improvements - why not add a virtual joystick option? 5. In single player mode, why can I not change the name of my PAC-MAN to something other than “You”? Hard to play with controller. Why does the PAC Man character ever angle to 45 degrees? There are only 4 directions the character should ever face. When I try to use a controller, sometimes he misses the turn because he’s faced at an angle to where I want to go. Otherwise it’s a great game, way better than original Pac man.

Online mode please!!. It’s a really good game and concept and I like to play it with my family and friends but developers if your listening please add an online mode. It’s a really addicting game but u get bored after a while so I think if you could play with other players that are real it would be awesome! And maybe you could even add upgrades or something new but if you don’t that’s ok it’s just that I want something new.

Latest Update is Phenominal. I’ll be the first to say that I was very critical of this game when it was first released. I re-downloaded this game with its latest update. This update fixes everything wrong with this game and now it is very enjoyable! Thank you for improving this application!

Amazing game! Needs multiplayer though.. It’s a very fun easy but yet challenging game to play that will entertain you for sure. Especially with all the fun colors there are, who wouldn’t love the game. Although they need to have an opinion to playing with random people online worldwide. That’s the reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars. Besides that, it’s a very entertaining game to play on your free time. 🌈

Good game but one problem. Me and my family got this game on the TV and on my iPad but on the TV whenever I try to connect to play with somebody on the TV like one of my family members it doesn’t do it it says error when it tries to connect to my iPad so when I host but when I joined it it never connects with me either can you please fix this problem have a nice day (oh and I love the game)

Incredibly Fun, Controls Aren’t That Bad. People are complaining a lot about the controls but they really aren’t that bad. It’s similar to the original PacMan games where you have to swipe in the direction you want to go BEFORE you get to the turn. Think of it as drifting around the board and it will feel more natural. My friends and I had a blast playing this, but of course I would like to see some online multiplayer.

Getting worse. This game was great at launch, just buggy. Since then, updates have added battle arena, which has always been extremely buggy and cursed, and then more and more habit-forming incentives to play Battle Arena. Now you can lose and still slowly progress. yay. Meanwhile, features added to the gameplay include Itchy (excellent) and Fruits (good, but incomplete — there’s only one so far). The game is still incredibly buggy, and I now think it will never receive the attention it deserves as the developers continue to push players to play for longer in a month and then come back the next. I’m sick of this. I’m relegating this game to “play vs bots” or “play with friends” as Battle Arena is too broken to enjoy competitively, and I now think I’ve seen enough of the entertaining things that happen.

Promise, but Please Improve Control Responsiveness. This game has alot of potential, but I find the swipe controls to be nowhere near responsive enough for reasonable gameplay. Swiping up, down, left, and right often does not change the direction of Pac-Man quickly enough, and as the game speeds up, its near-impossible to nimbly control it, making this game far too frustrating to play on a regular basis. Please fix this ASAP! Also, why not allow iPad players to use the arrow keys on connected keyboards?

Glitches when you play online. When I play the challenges it works great but when you try to play the “seasons” you have to play online but every time I try to play the first game works great to play a second game online I have to force lose the app and relaunch it to play. The challenges I never have any issue it would be nice to have the seasons connected to the challenges too.

It’s a great game but it’s missing features.. As far as gameplay goes, this is an imaginative new twist on a familiar classic and it’s super fun. Graphically it’s actually a gorgeous game as well. The problem starts with the fact that matchmaking leaves you feeling like there isn’t enough to do. Matchmaking works well, although it’s slow to match you and drops connection at random during matches at times. The only real reward you get for winning party matches is points that place you higher on the leaderboard. You should be able to unlock different “pac men” or customise them with options. The points would be better served as in game currency than what they are now, which is essentially worthless. It’s a fun idea to link up with your friends and play although I haven’t tried this feature. All in all I’ll give it 4 stars because of the potential this has to be an amazing game.

App Crashes-Useless. This app is very glitchy! As it opens and it says ‘press to start’, it crashes and closes. I have deleted it and reinstalled, and the crash continues. I have shut down my device and restarted it, the app still crashes. It is very unfortunate because when you get the chance to play, it is a fun game! Hopefully they will update and fix this issue. For now, I would not recommend getting too excited if you are able to somehow play it because it will not be long before you will run into this same issue that I’m encountering and many others are encountering.

No local multiplayer.... Bandai Namco has taken one of the best single-screen multiplayer arcade party games (Pac-Man Battle Royale), jazzed up the graphics, and removed the entire point of the game by forcing everybody to play on their own devices. Apple TV supports four controllers. This game supports one, for a four-player game. Also, swipe-to-move control is used even if you’re on a controller, which is not how controllers work. An absolute failure at the two most basic requirements for a game like this.

Pacman Fanatic. I’ve always loved Pacman games. This game just added another piece to that puzzle. Only one issue that I have. Could you guys add matchmaking? I love the Party play that allows you to play with family/friends, but I don't have many family/friends that have an iPhone also Apple Arcade. If you guys could do that, that'll be Awesome! Keep up the Great Work!!!! Awesome Game!!!! 10 Stars

So Good; Where’s Non-local Net Play?!. This game is so much fun! I LOVE how PAC-Man continues to evolve over all the decades from the very first arcade days. Going to have a TON of fun with my family with this one, but I wish there was non-local net play. That’s really the only thing missing here. Could use the mic for voice-chat will playing, could play with friends and relatives out-of-town/-state and overseas. Please add these capabilities, at the very least, non-local net play.

Good game buggy u/I. Good game but the user interface is full of bugs. Challenges are marked as complete even when they’re ongoing. Same for seasons. Also exclamation marks signaling to click on something are there even when there’s nothing to click on. Etc etc. Super buggy. All said still very fun. Also the hint text is super long and shown for approx one second. Keep showing it during the wait for a match so I can actually read it please!

Shop. Hello! I gotta say, i love the game. But i feel like it would be cool if there was a shop where you could buy skins for your pac! For example, you could buy a rainbow pac. And also there could be Pac-Coins that you get for winning and for eating other pacs and ghosts. I know this was short, but i feel like a shop would be epic.

Why can’t I play with random’s. This is a fun game has many good mechanics. The game is fun but when I don’t have any friends around(AKA most of the time) i’m not able to hit a button to be automatically signed up with a random party

Good but one thing. If you see this please make it so whenever a season end if you haven’t got all of the things from the season you can buy them with the pac dots you’ve collected please but I gotta say this game is fun thank you.

More fruit. I love the game and the gameplay, but it needs more fruit! Like a strawberry that makes you go faster than the max speed, an orange that can gives you a magnet power, or an apple that can give you a one hit shield. This one change can make the game so much better

Was great but it lags and kicks me off. Now after season 2 the connection is horrible my internet is good and on Wi-Fi but it still disconnects me and it literally crashes during game play I jus played a game and the time ran out it was me and another player he was just moving straight the map disappeared for about 1 min and we was still there then it popped up with more pellets and I eventually ate the power pellet and won

Good but some suggestions. I ok with the game but there is some things to make it better 1. Make it where you can change your color Pac-Man like in one of the updates 2. I know there is local and online multiplayer modes and single player but there isn’t local multiplayer with no password so can you add that please. 3. Make there be a new mode like endless mode to survive the longest. Please add these because they are good suggestions

Game play good, need multiplayer without Different Game Center ID. Played with my wife and two kids last night (8 & 4 yo). We loved it. What we didn’t love: kids wanting to play and sitting watching me create Apple IDs for them, then going into settings, logging out of my game center ID on the Apple TV and iPad. Logging in with theirs. All the while they’re asking: Can we play yet? Then because I want my game saves on my game center ID and some of my son’s saves on his games on the family iPad are on my Game Center ID I must after playing log back into my Game Center ID. Please allow multiplayer WITHOUT Game Center ID’s. We don’t care about achievements, just want to play in the short amount of time we have.

Great Game!. It’s a very fun game and I like how short the online rounds are. I love the free cosmetics that you get with the season. I am a new player but I think the matchmaking system and rankings are cool. Pac-Man Party Royal could use a few more maps/items to keep it fresh. I hope there are Halloween themed items soon!
