Doesn’t work if phone is hacked. Thai is a waste of money and time my phone says it works perfectly and I’m a software developer and my phones been compromised! Worst service ever ever !

What happened to safe web??. I really like the app easy to use, but I upgraded my phone from an iPhone 5s to a 7 and the safe web (VPN) is gone. It’s still available on the 5s but not on the new 7 phone. If the app doesn’t have the safe web (VPN), I’m wondering if it’s worth keeping.

Seriously?. I have mcafee on two computers. Why isn’t there a log in option? I shouldn’t have to create a separate account for my phone!

A fake. After each scan, this app always shows that everything looks good even when your device has a virus or has been hacked. This app is not reliable.

Bugs?. I’d give a 5 star but one of my devices seems to not respond when trying to activate “get safe browsing “

Safe browsing. What’s safe about it? It never works. Doesn’t turn on . Is it broken ? Try getting in-touch with customer support that’s another issue is that broken too.

Free add on from metropcs. Like I said it’s free so you can’t expect to get gold for free. I’ve just felt like they need to keep up with spyware and malware that’s is being sold at a lot of these apps or websites that use it for different applications. But all have the same purpose and that is to invade your privacy. I think that this app helps in one way or another to assist in getting info. But like I said it’s free. You end up paying for anything that was free because it just wasn’t worth it. Your still going to pay somehow. Like they say you end up spending double when you buy some cheap or used. I still think they should at least try to do a little more. Maybe this will motivate the right person to do something about it!! Thanks and hope to see new better upgrades that truly work efficiently.

Media vault garbage. I like every thing except for the fact that I added tons of pics to the media vault only to have them all disappear and I can't add anymore pictures to it either. Lost a lot of personal stuff. Pretty upset.

Needs to be more user friendly!😫. Need more help with instructions for people with little knowledge of computer world.

Media vault eats pics. You’ll never get your pics back! Don’t use it. The app obviously has a useless developer. They built it and let it go just hoping all would work. And as for metro pcs, they don’t care about there current or long time customers. They only care about getting more but once your on board, screw you shut up and don’t complain. If you want some advice, port your number over to another service once a year to get a new phone cause metro only gives deals to people who port there number over from another service. Long time customers get nothing but grief.

4 Stars. Reason for 4 Stars i don’t see any VPN options like the original app. The only difference this application have is send messages when your phone lost thru the web and to sound and lock your device. Other security apps no longer have that feature due to iOS 14 security implementation! Other then that this app is crap it just doesn’t feel packed with all features! (“But it’s free “)Thru metro PCs hurray enjoy !

Horrible!!!!!. Paying for this service thru MetroPCS and can’t even get passed the number verification. Talking to McAfee customer service is pointless as they just continue to say they are working on the issue as it is not working for all customers. That’s crazy when I’m PAYING for the service. Get it together McAfee!

He said / she said game. When I set up this app I did not have my glasses on and I got my email account wrong so I contact Mcafee to fix it and they say they can’t only T-Mobile can... and T-Mobile says they can’t. My biggest question is why can’t I change it in the settings part of the app!!!!!! I have to say this is really frustrating!!

I don’t get what this is. I really have no idea what this is supposed to do or help me in any type of way it just kind of runs all kinds of test and doesn’t fix anything.

Media X-Files. I'm giving it three star for now. I'd like to try it first before I gave into to all the hype. This is the first I have used this type of online personal security monitoring. As a first time subscriber, it would be on best interest to experience the service myself, besides getting help from the previous and recent members. The idea is to get the full benefits and experience. On how when they preach Safety is the main concern here, . I will follow up in couple of months.

Made me login to remove devices and there’s no logout option. Before I could activate web security just tried to make me sign in on browser again like i havent been signed in and didnt just remove like 8 devices also it wouldnt load homepage til i started screen record + scan then everything came back up also makes my phone run like its 1998

Already have app from the McAfee Total protection. I already have this app on my phone because I have McAfee total protection now it’s on my phone twice a PCS Metro is charging me a monthly fee for its use Bith McAfee and PCS Metro are claiming it’s each company to fix this double fee. So I am going to quit using both next month what are terrible rip off from both companies. Do not use!!!!. Buyer beware. I had to switch to this program because metro dropped the lookout program for their phone insurance. At first I was impressed, However over time I found issue. The VPN shuts itself off without warning. It doesn’t actually scan your phone for issues, just your WiFi. It eats up your data running the location all the time. It doesn’t always warn you that your phone software isn’t up to date. It only backs up your contacts, NOT your secured files in the “vault” !!!!!IT DELETED ALL MY PROTECTED FILES WITHOUT WARNING!!!!!!!! And all they said was, sorry. It basically doesn’t do near anything it says. It checks your WiFi and tells you your WiFi is safe..... randomly at 3 in the morning!

Does nothing I know I have a virus. App is completely fake does nothing I know I have a virus and it says that it scanned it and nothing is found so this is a complete bull$@:? app

This is all wrong. It’s saying I have 10 breach’s of online fraud and I haven’t used any of them and want me to change passwords and I never used those apps or pages online

Need email spelled correctly iCloud not iCloud. I have asked several times to fix my email address the iCloud is spelled wrong so I can’t get a new pin and how are you protecting my phone if you don’t have the correct email address. I sent a email and chat into the app several weeks ago and still same issue. What a waist.

Glitches. Crap app doesn’t let me go back when I needed to fix a small mistake.

McAfee Mobile Security for Metro. Works great! Never had any problems with this VPN. I forget that it’s even working because it stays out of the way. I only remembered that I was using it because of the scheduled update that I just got a notification to perform.

Great reliability. I have used your apps for many years on my computers and phone and thank you for the piece of mind it has given me. I wish I still had the income during this cancer battle to keep my apps and the security of them but with little to no income for the last year I can not afford it any longer with the $123.66 a month long term disability is giving me and my Social Security Disability doesn’t help me after paying the mortgage and utilities to be able to afford and still be able to afford groceries and transportation costs for my cancer treatments. Do NOT WASTE your money!!. My network is hacked and I have been harassed by a group of Asians for quite some time. I purchased the McAfee app hoping it would go a away. That is not the case. These gaming freaks still are Ddosing me at will and corrupting my devices. I have valuable information about the exploits in Apple phones, Chrome, Safari, you name it. Fails. When opened the app, it fails to load because of Error code.

Hacked. There’s a pirate network in my settings that prevents me from getting on my home network ever! Your security is horrible.

The best in cell phone security!!. Last month I no lost my Android device and neither Android or Googles device locator even gave me an approximate location to where my phone was bc the battery died. McAfee’s app lets you choose how often your phone’s location gets updated whether a low battery or not! Installing this app could have saved me HUNDREDS of dollars! Wish I found it sooner!!

Some features for mobile devices are being removed. Anti-Theft protection and media vault are being removed for both iOS and Android. Also the representative I talked with after finding out some old personal information years back bad been a part of a data breach years ago and still haven't found out what information was taken other than email, password and old address along with phone number that's no longer used. Which was from the alert I received and not the rep. Also scam shield still sending robocalls of car warranty scams especially when I haven't owned a car in over 16-17 years. The protection is only for calls and there's nothing for protection from text scams
