Scammed Me & Untrustworthy. I usually never write reviews, but this infuriated me. Any items for bonuses or gives you lots of points, they’re gonna want to review everything! I sent many pictures of what I’ve purchased. Almost all are “under review.” Even smaller items like produce or eggs. I didn’t realize I must keep the packaging for them. 😒 Then I purchased 2 bags of the same things. It’s chips, so I obviously ate one within the day. I sent a picture of one bag, after it “needed more reviewing.” But they wanted to see both together. Obviously, I didn’t keep my empty bag. So I emailed them stating such. My account got deleted!! How petty. All my points accumulated, GONE! Don’t use this app, if you do, you have to take a picture of every single thing you got! Don’t throw anything away, or move products in your own container.

Great Rewards For Buying Better. I’m loving the Merryfield app. I began buying organic or “better for me” products about 10 years ago. This app encourages me to be even more committed to making the best choices. I have been introduced to some new brands that I now love. It’s a huge plus to be able to earn rewards for choosing well! In addition to earning rewards, one of the best features is the Merryfield Customer Service team! Anytime an issue occurs, a dedicated staff member addresses my concern and quickly makes things right. Best customer care team I’ve ever dealt with! I’m looking forward to seeing how this app grows and provides more opportunities to save and earn. Excellent app and company!

Horrible lost almost $400 dollars value in points. I have been using this app for over a year and had a great experience up until now. I had almost a value of $400 worth of points. My account was suspended and shut down, and they are refusing to cash out my points. Absolutely ridiculous that I have spent this much time earning points, and you won’t have the ethical decency to cash out the points and send a gift card. They have a ridiculous process as of recently, where they are constantly asking recently for pictures of stuff saying it's not verified when it's clearly written on the receipt and if you don't want to send the pictures, because by the time I saw the email, I used the product, because it's food!! And if you just say don't add those points, then who cares, then you will be punished by having your account suspended. Which makes no sense. If someone doesn't want to bother with a huge inconvenience, sending pictures of food products and forgo those points for that item, that should be their choice. There is no company that has you constantly emailing and sending pictures to verify a product. So upset over my loss of points I have tried to reach out and get my points cashed out, and they refused to help.

Favorite rebate app. I love using the Merryfield app for the following reasons: 1. Excellent selections of brands making healthy eating so much more affordable 2. Easy to use app and get your rewards pretty instantly 3. Most importantly, although this is new and young app, they have the BEST customer service. They have always responded to my questions really timely and always helped out/fixed my issues super fast. I haven’t had any problems with getting my reward when it had to go thru manual reviews or sometimes if there is a bug, they always fix it quickly. I can’t wait for the app to grow and add more of my favorite brands to their list and keep earning with them.

Going down - DELETED. I used to love this app but now they have changed so many things. They announce new brands but they do not tell us that other brands are not longer available. They used to give enough points for purchases and now they are limited to one only. The promised points were 50 points and now the most popular brands are 10 points. App sometimes doesn’t recognize items so you have to submit a receipt to be credited next day but if you submit on a Friday you’ll have to wait the entire weekend to get your points. They used to give 50 points for each receipt and now they give you 25. It seems like is going to take the whole year to get something decent at the end of the year. If I ever get a response from Merryfield they will say “there are more ways to earn points soon, stay tuned” … I’ve been tuned for a while Merryfield and it keeps getting bad! NEW EDIT: app deleted. This app had a lot of potential because of the brand they WORKED with before they decided to change the amount of points given. The points went drastically down, the offers are not longer attractive, they bring these new brands but mostly are processed foods, expensive and hard to find. Their bundles are the wordy offer ever. They used to have GC for certain stores and now no longer work with them. I just deleted the app. Want to earn fast use IBOTTA!

Reward for good eating choices!. I love the idea of this app! Rewarding people for good choices! And brands I love! I’d like to see more natural or healthy added, and more options to link to other stores soon, but other than those things, I think this is super easy and less work that other coupon or rebate apps. If your Walmart or other account is linked, it automatically gives you the points back if any of the qualifying brands are purchased. EASY!

Being healthy pays off. I started using the app maybe two months ago. It is easy to navigate, upload recipes. You only have 7 days to upload recipes! I can submit corrections for review and customer services is on top of things. The special deals / point boosters are my favorites. I already earned $10. I am as well looking forward to see new brands added to their list. The stores around me does not carry some of the brands from this app or just limited to one item. So it is hard to get the bundle deals. I have many food allergies and sensitivities, but I find most of the brands they carry are covering my needs. On that note, please add more dairy free alternatives.

unannounced changes. Apparently, without telling anyone, they decided to extremely lower how many points you get per paper receipt. It used to be 25; now today it suddenly 10. With how hard times are for people, you really couldn’t let us continue to earn points like we used to? You had to lower the points for each receipt by over half? How horribly rude of you. edit: I’m deleting this app. They just sent out an email on 1/24 trying to vaguely explain that the changes they were making were good… it turns out that you no longer get ANY guaranteed points for a receipt. you will only earn a couple of points here & there if you buy from their special favorite brands. how did this app go so downhill? why do they respond to every review and make it seem like they’re going to care and listen and bring the app back where it used to be when it was good, when that’s clearly more lies? I’m deleting this; it’s not worth it, and they’re running their app into the ground with bad business moves. with how hard things are right now, you would think that there would at least be a couple of places out there that actually care about the well-being of the people who use their services…

Was great, now just meh. I loved this app at first. Most brands I bought had great rewards, but over time the brands have lowered their rewards system. And now you have to play games or take surveys to receive points? Nah. I’ve tried doing the surveys when I can but I don’t have time to sit around for 25 minutes to receive a measly 250 points. I also feel as if the rewards are aiming more and more towards plant based products, which are not things I eat. Meat all the way baby, but of course you’re not being rewarded for eating meat, but instead are being rewarded for plant based deli meats? Gross 😵‍💫 I used to refer people to this app but it’s not worth it anymore. Great idea upon inception but it’s gone down hill over the last couple years.

Great idea - needs search feature. Update: developer has updated the app but still no search feature. I’m unlikely to keep using this app. Love the idea of this and the receipt functionality works well. As a tool to reward choosing healthy options that you’re already familiar with, this app is great, where it falls short is in help consumers actually find these healthier options. It places the burden on the consumer to memorize 50+ healthy brand names, rather than allowing the user to search for what they need. For example: Yesterday in the grocery store, I wanted to get a “better for you” brand of eggs, but standing in front of the egg display, I opened the Merryfield app to see what egg brands are good. But you cannot search for eggs all you can do is browse a list of 50 food brands. Scrolling checking the case, scrolling, trying to guess which healthy brands sell eggs. I recommend adding a search feature where the user can search eggs and see which brands come up. Otherwise it’s quite cumbersome to scroll a list of tons of brands all the time.

Used to love it. Like many others I no longer love Merryfield. They lowered the points earned per dollar on brands I buy and keep sending me special offers for things I don’t buy, alcohol and products with added sugar. The threshold for cashing out has been raised and I don’t know if I’ll ever get enough points as every way to earn has been cut drastically or eliminated. Points earning surveys were added for a short then abruptly discontinued. I used to recommend Merryfield to friends but not anymore. I have to request a review every week for my measly produce points. Customer service is friendly, the only reason I keep hanging in with Merryfield.

Digital receipts. I was really loving this app, and I already bought some of the foods/brands Merryfield supported so it was a no brainer. Now, however if I shop at the retailers online, my “digital” coupons don't synch. It always says “we found receipts …. Hold on while we …” but that never happens. I then have to take pics (sometimes 5-6 of my receipt from my Target or Shaws app) and upload them in an email to Customer Service. This is been happening since February and I keep asking …. Any fix? And the answer has been … we’re working on it. Please fix the Manage Retailers feature. This app is a great concept….but …. No fix for months is getting old :-(

Scam. Requesting pictures of items you purchased that are clearly shown on the receipt does not make sense. They request pictures of items that used to automatically give you the points but now they need to see a picture of the item and the barcode. I took pictures in the store because I knew I was gonna throw away the packaging, but that wasn’t enough either. Then they requested a digital copy of my in store receipt from the grocery stores website. I looked all over the website and no such thing exists. They just look for reasons to not give you the redemption. They raised the Walmart gift card from 5000 points to 15,000 points but then when I reached 15,000 points, they wanted verification for items I submitted, but no longer have the packaging. I wasn’t even awarded points for these items but they’re telling me I need to verify them in order to redeem the $15 Walmart gift card? Don’t even bother with this app. They make you jump through hoops and then just deny you anyways.

Love the idea of this app. I love what this app is trying to do, promote cleaner, healthier options and rewarding you for doing so. However, the rewards program has really gone downhill and I don’t enjoy using the app anymore. I get that things have to evolve and change, but the way the program works now it doesn’t even seem worth it and the special offers are rarely something I am interested in. It’s a bummer, I used to be able to rack up points at a decent pace that seemed totally worth it, but the way the program is now it has taken me months just to get a fraction of the points I need for a $10 gift card.

Loving the product values. I am not on a special diet and I’m not allergic to any foods but some of my friends and family are and having the ability to find products that have the nut free or keto values has been pretty helpful for me. I can’t memorize every diet out there so this has been a great way to get quick info on what they can and can’t have. I do wish the longer values list had more organization because right now it’s a lot to scroll through but it’s cool that they are organizing products like this.

Great reward app. I have quickly fallen in love with this app. It is easy to use, and navigate. You can add special offers to gain rewards quickly. I love the fact that there is a scanner option in the special offer menu so you can check items to make sure they qualify before you buy them. There customer support is top notch. I had a problem with one of the special offers working so I contacted support. They responded quickly and were very helpful in solving the problem. 🤩

Extremely Frustrating. They have changed their program so many times since I started I never know what I’ll get points for. But the biggest frustration is, now that it’s finally better recognizing items correctly, it still doesn’t add them and I have to edit my receipt every single time to get credit for my fresh produce even when it clearly identified it as produce. And you have to do each item individually which takes a long time when all you buy is produce! I don’t think I’ll be using it much longer.

Obsessed with this app. Finally! An app that offers rewards for things I actually want to buy for me and my family. I’m so impressed with how easy it is to earn points on so many of the amazing brands and products I already use every day. It’s super-easy to use this app and I love being able to search by organic or gluten-free. I’ve been using this gorgeous, useful app for about a month and I absolutely love it.

Shopping is fun. I do really enjoy using this app! I feel like they are getting better and better with their choices of products & brands! There are so many great brands out there! It’s time for a change and I keep seeing that they are doing just this! Some of the brands are not me! I still enjoy shopping and spending money though to get my points! I’m an Apple 🍎 gurl so I choose to get gift cards! They always have great customer service & support! Thanks for taking care of ME 🤎

So Many Brands Have Left/ Earning Points Now Takes FOREVER. I really loved Merryfield for a long time. I plans both my purchases and store choices around using it. Then the brands I loved left the app, and the points you can earn with the brands that are still available dramatically increased. I am also not willing to expose myself to the brain rot or data mining of the online games and surveys which now seem to be the only viable way of earning points. I’m SLOWLY crawling to my last gift card before I stop using the app all together. It just doesn’t seem to be worth it anymore.

Bad App, Faulty Receipt Uploads, Deleting soon. This app is buggy, slow and needs a technical overhaul. Every time I have to submit a receipt I need a review to get points. It ridiculous that every receipt needs a review over and over again. It’s not worth the time or hassle to submit a receipt and get the points. It’s frustrating as someone who is striving to eat healthy and choose environmentally friendly food products. I plan on deleting my account this week and switch to another app.

Amazing app!!. So I guess this is my personal experience and not a review, but here we go I’m one of those people that’s super careful with the food and products I buy. I’m always looking into the ingredients and I try to support environment friendly brands and clean-label products, but let’s be honest, it’s super hard to find those products in a grocery store When I started looking at the offers and brands listed in the app, I found a lot of new products that I didn’t know about and I’d love to try now. That only got better when I went to the store yesterday and bought some of those products. Then I scanned the receipt with the app and Boom! I earned many points! It was as simple as that! Getting points and rewards is great, but what I found even better is that the app will help me make better purchase decisions!!

BAD CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I really want to like this app but every single time I scan big point receipts this happens.. I really want to like this app because it’s finally an app where I can receive points on purchases that I particularly want rewards with. I am a typically clean eater in a clean product user so this app was perfect because I was able to choose a lot of organic items and clean items. My issue is that every time I receive a big order point receipt, it has to go through customer service, and then I have to send proof of purchase and proof I have the item in order to get the points. I did this moving forward, but now the agent accused me of taking a photo of inside the store, when it is clearly on my bathroom counter. They are threatening to delete my account because of this. They need to get it together 🤦🏻‍♀️ Update: THEY DELETED MY ACCOUNT. Thieves!

Merryfield is great!. Loving’ Merryfield! Points bought my pot roast at Whole Foods today! So it take a few minutes to upload my receipts, and it takes a while to get a lot if points because I don’t buy a lot of the products but milk alone boosts my account but boy it was so worth it today! At Whole Foods cart ready to go and forgot I didn’t redeem my points and boom - it only took a couple minutes to log in and get the gift card - cashier scanned it and good to go!!! Thank you so much!!! Hope Merryfield is doing great because you sure to have a great product !!! All the best and Happy New Year!

Rewards!. You get rewarded for eating healthier! What is not to love about this app!? Customer service has been super helpful and kind when I’ve reached out and the app is pretty easy to use. My only suggestion would be; to be able to submit screenshots of electronic receipts. While they are able to connect with so many stores there are some not yet connected. Thanks for making this app and system of rewards!

Easy to earn points!. Scanning my receipts with Merryfield is simple. I like that I click the products I use and it continues indefinitely. I like not having to go through huge lists of products to check them before scanning. The bonus list is short enough that it is easy to add without hassle. I love that when I redeem m points, the gift card is released within minutes! It used to give more points for receipts with no participating products, but it’s understandable.

Finally an app that reimburses you for healthy foods!. My primary complaint since I began couponing and using rebate apps this summer is that many of the available rebate offers and coupons have been for highly processed foods. My family and I aim to eat whole and minimally processed foods which can be more expensive due to high quality ingredients. For that reason, I was excited to learn about Merryfield and have been using it now for about 2 months. So far, I have no complaints. My points are awarded right away and the app, in general, is easy to navigate. I’ve interacted with customer service and their response time is quick. I look forward to seeing this app grow and look forward to my other favorite brands being added. Signed—a budget friendly Dietitian :)

Makes it easy to eat clean without putting in too much work. I try to feed my family healthy and clean foods but don’t always want to spend time searching for the best options. I like that Merryfield lists the best brands and makes it easy to know what to buy. I also love that I not only get rewarded for products I was already purchasing (yeah, I had done my research right!) but that they also help me discover new brands that can become staples for us (Right Rice!). The app is also easy to use, which is always a plus.

Great new app. Since my kids were born I've been paying more attention to the products I buy. Pretty easy these days to get overwhelmed and lost when looking for clean and good products and I don't have the time or energy to read every label. That's why I was so happy to find Merryfield, which I have been using for a few weeks. I like how they only showcase clean label products. They also offer an excellent way to get rewards on products I already buy. I don't usually use coupons (I always forget them) but like anyone, I like getting a few dollars back on my purchases, and I've found taking a pic of my receipts after my grocery shopping pretty easy!

It was good, not any more. Signed up with Merryfield a year ago and was thrilled to have a chance to get credit for my organic or healthier options. The other apps tend to offer deals from more mainstream companies and I wasn’t making point progress beyond the daily points. Merry field decided to decrease the points offered per receipt but I figured it was ok since they were not mainstream, it might be harder to get sponsors or whatever. But now, there are no points unless you have a deal by one of the featured items/brands. They do offer produce points but every. Single. Time. I have to correct the receipt because it NEVER registers. It’s beyond frustrating. I have finally got my points to 15,000 so I can get a reward. But once I redeem, I think I’ll be done. I wanted to support them but it takes too much work. If things change, maybe I’ll come back but for now, not worth it.

Started Off Good. We started using this app from the very early stages and it was a pretty good experience but then it became a little less of a positive experience. The scan of a receipt was devalued by half from the early stages and so that is one reason I am not as high on this as I once was. I then recently went to see about cashing in some points for a gift card but alas now the gift card we always redeem points for is no longer available. This is really a deal breaker for me because none of the other redemption rewards are useful to me. Do better Merryfield and go back to your roots and stop worsening the experience with this program.

Nearly Perfect!. This is an amazing app - you get points for purchasing great products and then can redeem them for gift cards. Yes, you have to accumulate a lot of points for a small amount. At the same time, if these are products you already purchase or want to try, you are getting rewarded for doing so. The only thing that would make it perfect is if you didn’t have to activate offers before you use them. I get that they want you looking at the app and checking out deals regularly. It’s just not always convenient. That said, they have very generously given me the bonus for items I have missed the first time. (Not something you can use as an excuse to get points - just when you make a mistake or don’t understand the rules.) The all would be five stars for me if the offers automatically loaded rather than me having to activate them.

Merryfield is worth it to use!. I’ve been using Merryfield for a few years now and it’s a great app to easily submit your receipts or connect certain retail accounts with your purchases. Once you reach a certain number of points you can use them as gift cards and they have a great selection. I have selected many gift cards for grocery and you can also share them as a gift with someone if you want. I highly recommend this app!

Update: Zero points for any receipt now. I’m updating my original review to reflect recent changes to Merryfield. They now have completely taken away points for any receipt. There has to be an offer present to get any points at all. I had no idea about this until I submitted a receipt and got zero for it. Of course they will still use my data from the receipt to their advantage and I get nothing. They are becoming greedy. I remember when I would get 50 points for a random receipt without any offers on it. At least other apps give something for random receipts. This was the main function of this app for me. The overpriced products they offer redemptions for are never worth it for me. I’m pretty much done with this app if the receipt points are permanently gone. Many others are angry as well. Please bring back something for the receipts. You changed the gift card amounts to a reasonable cash out and you increased the amount of receipts per week. All of that is pointless though if we can’t get points for our receipts. Obviously the bulk of your users are scanning for the random points. Why destroy your app?

Works for me!. I appreciate that I can upload receipts from pretty much any grocer to receive points. I would love to see more variety in products and would like more transparency when companies are removed from the app. I would also love to see a link between Merryfield and Thrive Marketplace soon. Points stack up fairly quickly and I typically save my earnings until the end of the year and cash them out to help offset holiday shopping costs. It works for me and I’m glad I have an option that adds even more benefit to making better food choices. Also, please, please add a pickle and sauerkraut brand!

No more points for any receipt?. When I started with MF, every receipt got me minimum 25 points. Then it went to only 10 points, but added rewards for fresh produce (and usually at least half of these on each receipt needs to be added manually as the automated screening misses them). From the latest update- ZERO points for receipt. Only for specific brands and products. What’s the point of making the week maximum 50 receipts if there are so few items that get credit? I’m not sure it’s worth my time anymore.

Does people wrong. First off I want to say I used this app in the beginning when you could put in any Reciept and get 25 points and if you bought something that was special brand to them then they give you bonus points Then they went from 25 point every for every Reciept put in to 10 points and raised the point values to cash out. Oh did I meant you could only put in 10 reciepts and they would count down to where you can put more Reciepts in for 10 point. Now here comes to the big update like they done something so special. They went and started giving you no points for reciepts unless it has a special brand that they get kick back from. Not only that they act like oh they done something great by putting games on there for people to earn points and not only that they act like they done you a big favor by putting surveys on there so you can earn points. If you want the truth the only thing they did was give the people that scans reciepts that don’t buy their special brand that they get a kick back from the shaft. Because think about it this way they partner with the games that you play with every add that is play in the game they are making money and with the survey for each one you take they get money. So if you want a good company that pays for reciepts. I would suggest Reciept hog, frisbee, CoinOut, receipt jar , Swagbucks any of them has to be better than this greedy company. Oh by the way I have to give them one star because if not I can’t post the truth.

Finally, rewards on products I use!. I could not be happier be this app. Other apps give points by the item, Merryfield does it by the dollar. This means it’s MUCH quicker for points to add up to a redeemable value. My family values natural and organic products so other apps weren’t a good fit. All the deals were for products we never bought. I’m finally getting rewarded on the items I’m regularly buying for my family anyway and I’m even more willing to buy these natural products when I know I’m getting some of that money back. The customer service is so quick, friendly, and efficient. Uploading receipts and connecting to your email is a breeze. Definitely check it out!

Love it!. I have been using this app for receipt rewards for a couple years now. Love that it is helping introduce to people so many healthier options and they make getting rewarded so simple! Costumer service is the best and allows receipts without barcodes from neighborhood grocers to be sent via email with the product pic and points will be applied instantly upon approval! Love this app. Honestly, I really do love this app. Not only does it give me points to use towards earning a gift card, but it’s for food I’m already buying. It’s super easy to use, they have great deals and every scan of a receipt gets you 50 points regardless of whether you purchased any foods from their site. Customer service is AMAZING and always quick to help/reply. And the fact that this was a free app just makes it even better!

Best Rewards App. I love Merryfield and that it connects to my Target account and automatically finds the brands that I buy often, like Ripple and Stonyfield, and gives me cash back! Their app is so easy to work with too. I had one issue recently where a big promotion wasn’t showing up on my account and the Merryfield customer service was amazing at verifying my receipts and apply the promo to my account. Their responses were very quick and they were so kind! I highly recommend Merryfield!

Bet nobody can me an even a $5 cash out?. Ask them, even the ones that did make it to $5( handful) ended up getting their account deleted as soon as they tried to cash out. You would think after 6 MONTHs, 10 receipts m a week, almost 8000 points I’d have something to show my now..NOPE! Rules changed and I’m done with this app but I want my 8000 to go to Red Cross (they have a donation also) but guess what you have to have 10,000 to even do that also. Let’s see if y’all can at least do one thing right and DONATE what I earned!!!!!!

Get rewarded for making healthy choices. I stumbled into this app while scrolling on Instagram and decided to give it a shot. I have not been disappointed on how easy it is to use and the multiple rewards you can get for making better choices for your food and household options. I only wish there was a reward for referrals, other than that it is a great rewards app!!

Well…. I get a lot of gift cards from this one. I do. But the app itself just…doesn’t work? It’s more like a tally because syncing doesn’t work at all. Basically, every time I show up, I am emailing them a receipt and on the one off that it does catch it’s not finding anything on it. So. Patience required. Update: I give up. It does not work. Ever. And this past few weeks emails go unanswered or yeah we added points, and there’s nothing. It used to be a great little app. In a short few years, I earned nearly $400 in rewards, a lot compared to other similar apps. But I’m just tired of monitoring it. I’d reconsider if they ever got the kinks worked out again.

Thieves!!. I was very happy with this app. After uploading 3 receipts. I got a message that the account had been closed. Same with must of my friends and family members I referred. The account was closed and I couldn’t get the cash back. Not recommend at all. Update: I contacted customer service and they emailed me saying that my account was closed because I violated the terms. I have referred a lot of friends and family and their accounts has been closed too. My conclusion about this app is “Do not refer anyone if you want to keep your account working” Not a big lost since the app doesn’t have to many offers and must are vegan products that doesn’t taste good.

An app with more problems than chances to earn money. The app used to be good. Now it’s just another receipt scanning app except for you get 0 points for each receipt unless you get a “partnered” item. And half of the time the items on the receipt don’t register which results in you having to manually register each product and have it sent to the company for “approval”. Thing is, sometimes they’ll want you to scan the product 3-5 days after submitting the receipt for “proof of purchase” as if the receipt isn’t enough? Well that happened to me with a product I already ate and discarded the packaging for and guess what, I got my account deleted for “violating” their “terms of service”. What an utter waste of an app

Wonderful when it works. I love the concept, but they still have so many technical problems. A majority of my receipts seem to have items that aren’t properly identified. You have to constantly be on the lookout for brands that either don’t register at all, bonuses that don’t credit, or both. When you manually submit an item, get used to it, as you’ll keep submitting the same one from the same retailer every time you buy it. They never update the system to properly credit you on future purchases. In that respect, this app really is for the hardcore coupon people who are zealous about making sure they get every penny. I would love for it to work better and be suitable for mainstream natural products consumers. Most people will not follow through on credit not received and will likely end up abandoning the app. Lastly, they appear to list their brands based on paid placement rather than alphabetically. It would be very helpful if they offered a comprehensive, concise alphabetical list in a normal font without logos.

Easy to use and nice change to most refund apps. Most refund apps don’t include a lot of these brands of products. It’s a treat to have this opportunity to redeem rewards for these purchases. Any issues I’ve ever had have been resolved super quickly. Their support team is excellent- both effective and very fast. Great variety of gift cards available. The bonus offers help earn points quickly and the points given are worth the time to redeem.

Makes me enjoy shopping a lot more!. Not only does it save me reading labels, but makes shopping a little more fun. Between getting rewards that I can actually use (like REI gift cards) and introducing me to new better brands to look for at the store, I am actually enjoying going for groceries. Also, have to say that it seems like Merryfield has been working really hard to improve the app… a little more streamlined than when I first download… and I rarely give 5 stars.

Refreshing concept for a scanning app. Considering how many of these apps are largely centered around the typical American diet and popular brands that match, it’s so nice to have one that focuses in on the healthier options. The app is a breeze to use and the customer service is fast and efficient whenever there is a problem or you just want to offer feedback. The only downfall currently is that I wish they had more brands offered as there is a plethora of options I see and buy regularly that would work SO well with this app’s concept that are missing but I don’t know exactly what permissions they have to have from the brands themselves so maybe these brands’ absences are not on Merryfield. Either way, I love using it and will happily continue to. Keep up the awesome work!

Going downhill…. I used to LOVE this app (and still do love the premise of it because a buy a lot of healthier brands), but it has gone downhill so much the past 6 months. Connections with stores rarely works, scanned receipts are wrong, and most importantly, points now accrue extremely slowly now compared to how it used to be. I used to get a $15 gift card every month and now I have been struggling for months to even get enough points for that. PLEASE improve these things and make the app like it used to be!

No longer worth my time. I used to LOVE this app because they reward you for choosing better for you brands, but the reduced the points per receipt from 50 to 25 and now to 10. There are very few brands that award bonus points, and even when I buy those brands, it’s not recognized on the receipt so I have to submit a request for review. If they fix these issues, I’d be happy to use it again!

Not worth having the app anymore. Before you could upload 35 receipts a week and get 50 Points per receipt minimum then they lowered the receipts to 10 Per week and 25 points minimum now it’s still 10 receipts per week 10 points minimum. It’s not worth having the app anymore if you continue to lower the points to where you basically get nothing for the receipts then allow more receipts to be entered than 10 per week. Up it back to 20 or 25 receipts compared to The 10 For 10 points each. This app has gone downhill a lot and isn’t worth having anymore.

Great App. It’s a great app. Very easy to use but could use some tweaks. Could use a way to continuously scan without having to always go back to the main screen after every recipet. Also you get 0 credit for receipts submitted via direct store connections. So they take your data for those direct connections and don’t give you anything. At least give us points for the directly connected receipts!

Whole food happy. I like to buy clean foods so I was happy to see this app. The items that are listed with extra points are great because I found some new items. I shopped at sprouts, it’s a chain store so you would think their receipts would be more descriptive. Sadly I had to scan my items when I had already put them away. I was questioning is it more trouble than it’s worth?

Don’t waste your time on this absolute scam. This app was already a scam since it had a terrible conversion rate but now they don’t even give you coins unless it meets super specific criteria. That’s not how a receipt app should work, it should take everything even if it has a terrible conversion rate like Pogo. But I only made like 2 dollars over months of scanning receipts and wouldn’t even be able to cash out anyway. But now, they don’t even give you ANY coins. What a joke, great job developers for making an already terrible app more terrible. As soon as I saw this, I immediately deleted the app. Shame on you developers.

Love Merryfield. Love receiving points for products I use! Helpful in trying new products that Merryfield endorses. The app is easy to use and their customer service is outstanding should you have an issue. The only complaint that I have is ordering online (not from a retail store) such as Thrive Market & not being able to access the points. Hopefully they will rectify this situation in the near future.

Was good but not anymore. I liked this app but now I’m not getting any points. When I started I got 25 points a receipt then it went down to 10. Now I get zero and only get points for produce and even that is only one point per dollar spent. Times are tough and I’m watching my spending, not buying the expensive brands on your app. By the time I get any awards now I’d have to spend thousands of dollars on produce. I’m sad to say this app is no longer worth it, there are so many better apps out there that give rewards on whatever you purchase.

The best customer service!. I have been using Merryfield for almost 3 years, and it is my very favorite of the apps that give points for scanning receipts. The app is easy to use, points are given immediately, and the customer service is unmatched. They respond to emails quickly and are always so nice. I highly recommend downloading Merryfield!

Not what it was. What a shame that something that used to be so great is so awful now. In a time when groceries cost so much I used to love this app until they changed it to make earning points harder and so inconsistent. This is definitely not the same program that I originally signed up for. Everytime I go in and scan a receipt I’m hit with the same disappointment. I gave two stars instead of one because their customer service is fairly ok.

Great concept. This app is easy to use and the customer service is top notch if you have a question or an issue. I wish there were more brands associated with it. Eating healthy is expensive and getting credit for a few more products would make a difference.

Excellent customer service. I’ve been actively using this app for a year and have had great experience with the customer service, ease of using app, and love the bonus offers. My only issue is they need to expand participating products. I highly recommend this app.

Not worth wasting time on this app anymore!. Initially, I loved the idea of this app. We eat organic and there were hardly ever any clean brands options for extra points on other apps. We were happily scanning and moving along. Now, I scan 2 receipts and then I have to wait 3 days to scan more and then by the time I remember to go back and scan the app says that they are too old. Also, extra points are only for highly processed foods. It really is not worth wasting the time on scanning anymore. It used to be my favorite and now it has become a huge disappointment every time that I use it.

Scam! Do not use!. This app used to be so good but not anymore. They changed their points system that makes it take much longer to earn a reward. I uploaded my receipt for a product for 6000 points and it had to be validated and even though it was valid they never gave me my points saying the offer is no longer valid and when I did a bundled offer. I scanned my receipt for the two valid items and it was still saying I needed to purchase one product. I have since deleted my account. Not worth it anymore!

Exceptional program. Easy to use. Rewards are within 12-24 hours not 72 hours like many others. Easy to submit an item that does not register on photo. Cannot say how much I enjoy this app. I tell everyone. The Brands they include are found NO WHERE on other rewards apps.

Waste of time. The support ask me to send them photos of the products I bought after uploading a receipt picture. After that they write that the points were added to my account, but in fact, they don't add anything. After I wrote to them that the points weren't added, they started asking me to send them photos of the products again, and this went on for several days, each time asking for photos of new products and even ones that weren't on my receipt at all. Basically, it's a waste of time.

I Love this app!!. First time user of this app and it’s exactly what I need for all my shopping trips. I was already buying many of the brands. And this app is the perfect companion. What a great way to earn rewards. I’ve already spoke to an incredible customer service rep who provided a explanation for a question I had and even gave me some shopping tips! I was grateful! Used to be amazing. Been using Merryfield from the beginning! It used to be AWESOME. They offered so many more points than they do now. Now it’s nearly impossible to get enough to cash out for a reward. It’s so disappointing, honestly. Just feels like a huge bait & switch. Those of us that have been around for a long time just watched it slowly go downhill & now it’s hardly worth the time to submit. I used to tell everyone to download this app! Now I wouldn’t bother. It’s such a shame because I was honestly such a huge fan previously.

It’s terrible now. A few years back, this was a great app. Then they reduced the receipt rewards from 50 points, to 25 points, and now 10 points. Not to mention that many of the brands vanished that earned you good points. It now takes forever to accumulate any points to get a gift card, assuming the gift card function is working when you go to redeem it. I’ve had it fail and my rewards stuck in the app until they fixed it. It’s not worth your time or the info they’re collecting from you with each receipt.

Used for years but no longer. I have used this since 2023. I earned over $100 but in the past two years earning points is very strict and brands have changed a lot. You used to be able to play games and earn points but not anymore. The app is also the second highest used phone storage on my iPhone at just under 3GB. I don’t find it worth it to use any longer. I have redeemed my last points and will be discontinuing use. It’s been fun.

Great App for Organic Coupons!. This is a neat app if you like to shop organic products. I love that there’s plant based products too. Just wish you had more time than one week to submit the receipts because sometimes I forget about my receipts for a bit and then by the time I remember, I can’t scan them anymore. Would love to see more brands in the app but I know that will just come with time.

Love it. I love having an app that encourages purchasing great products! They also recently started giving bonus points for simply scanning a receipt, which is great. I recently had an issue with a gift card purchased with points and they had great, very helpful customer service as well! Highly recommend.

Great App. Been using Merryfield since they started and it’s a great app. Even better is the customer support. They respond immediately and always show the utmost courtesy in getting your problem fixed. I wish all Apps had people working for them like the staff that works for Merryfield

Worsening. It was very good at the beginning, then they lower the reward from receipt scanned from 50 points to 25. I said it is not too bad. Then the 14 days restrictions, keep saying receipt too old, they improved that. But honestly it is really annoying that they have a receipt limit, you scan a few receipts and they it tells you that you need to wait line 4 days to keep scanning, it is so annoying, you have to keep savings the receipt then they build up! Please fix that!

Easy to use app minus linking accounts. I love the ease of use that this app. Provides. Every single thing is well conceived, developed, and operationally easy for the user except for linking accounts. I have never been able to successfully link my target account to this app. I’ve tried multiple times, and unsure of how else to approach the problem. That is my only complaint as a user. Earning and redeeming rewards have never been easier!

Life made a little easier. I don't always make good product choices because I don't take the time to read labels. That's why I like Whole Foods, generally i can't go wrong there, but I don't always like the price or inconvenience of getting there. A quick search of this app helps me make better decisions for my family wherever I shop. Getting rewards and saving money is a bonus. Clean and $imple.

Love it!!. I have loved using this app! I use a few other point-for-purchase apps, but most sponsor brands I stay away from, so I was really excited when my friend showed me one for the cleaner brands I already use! The customer service has been incredible as well. Highly recommend!

Finally!. I have had this app for several months now and absolutely love it. I am so happy to finally have a shopping program that rewards me for products that I actually buy. I have had to reach out to customer service a few times and they are friendly and quick to respond.

Trader joe’s. I see Trader joe’s on the app advertising pictures but not in the retailer list on the app. I mainly go to that store for my shopping 😞 also Costco doesn’t appear on the list. I am so disappointed ☹️ can’t really enjoy this app as my 2 stores aren’t in it but I love the concept though. Hopefully they’ll add my favorite stores soon 😊

Disappointed. I used to love this app. I received 25 points for most receipts but then went down to 10 and now 0 if I don’t buy products they promote. They do offers points for produce but I’ve had to manually edit my receipts in order to get those points. Recently I’ve tried to submit a receipt and edit points for produce and the produce items showed up as completely different things! It’s as if they’re deliberately avoiding giving those points. I don’t know if I will continue using this app.

Little effort, major rewards!. I have been using Merryfield for over a year and I love it! I linked my retailer accounts from the beginning and I have been reaping the rewards (literally!). I turn my rewards into Starbucks gift cards so I basically have free coffee for buying products that I’d buy anyways!

Not as good as it was. Up until two or three months ago, it was a great app. Now I will scan a receipt and have to manually type in what I should’ve been rewarded automatically. They also removed, suddenly, at least two brands that I purchased most so now it’s hard to earn any points. I was able to earn a gift card every six weeks or so, but now the savings are laughable and whatever incentives they have aren’t worth it to me.

Happy!. I have no complaints with Merryfield! They are a superb app! I do buy some of the products but I also scan ALL my other receipts too! And Merryfield gives me points for them! Thank you Merryfield for your generosity! Times are tough again but thanks to corporations like yours, you willing to help ALL customers. Thank you!

Basically worthless now. I like this app, but they’ve made it useless now. They used to give points for any receipts and now have done away with that completely. Let’s say I buy 2 carrots and numerous other items (no produce) at store, you only get 2 points for that receipt for the carrots. I assume they’ve done this as they can’t afford to pay people out, so they’ve made it extremely hard to earn points now. What is this point?! Upped the receipt limit up to 50 as you’ll be earn 5 points per receipt per week. What a joke.

Suggested by a Nutritionist- love!!. A fellow Nutritionist told me about this app. I love that it allows me to save money and eat healthy at the same time! It takes all of my favorite brands into account, saving me money and allowing me to keep eating the way I want. Thanks Merryfield! So lucky to have a service like this. Still decent, Has gotten worse over time. I’m not going to turn down free money and still use this, but Merryfield was far and away my favorite/most generous app scanner until it recently halved the number of points per receipt. In this it’s just following in the footsteps of peers like Fetch—which is still worse, IMO—so I guess it was inevitable, but it’s still a bummer to 1. have points cut in half and 2. be limited in the number of submissions per week and 3. not be able to use receipts more than one week old, when other apps let you do up to two weeks.

Was good now is a scam.. 18 months ago when I first began using the Merryfield app I used to be able to get $5 a month. Now it’s been almost nine months since I was last able to cash out because it’s 10,000 point minimum and only 10 points per receipt instead of 25 and they make you take out a photo every time you upload a receipt that may have a bonus. Also only 10 receipts per seven days. I have accrued ~9000 points and wonder how long it will take to make it to 10k. They make it difficult to cash out. Complete scam now. Sad!

Wrongfully closed my account. I just tried getting into the app and it said my account has been closed. This is because your system couldn’t verify purchases and I needed to submit pictures of the products and barcodes. I didn’t submit them within 2 days or so after being asked and I got an email saying the requests were closed. I responded with the required pictures and no response from the worker that was helping me. I had a ton of points in there as well and it’s ridiculous they expect a response within a few days when not everyone is able to do that

Merryfield’s Decline: No Longer Worth the Effort. I’ve been an extreme couponer for a while, and during this time, I’ve seen the rise and fall of various rebate apps. They often start strong with great offers, easy reward redemptions, and excellent customer service. But over time, they make it harder to earn points or increase the number of points needed to redeem rewards, making users feel like it’s no longer worth the effort. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened with Merryfield—using the app just isn’t worth it anymore.

Worst app- not worth the trouble. Continually asked to prove I bought items even after scanning my purchase receipts. Not worth the hassle trying to scan every item to get a small amount of points. They ban you from the app if you don’t answer immediately AND when submitting receipts they randomly automatically are submitted into review but they don’t ask you for any more info via email and you hear no follow up and get no points? Why is this so difficult to use? Worst customer service. Save yourself the trouble - there are much better points apps out there (Fetch is a good one)!

Avoid at all costs. When you purchase certain items, they require to you take a picture of the item within a day or two. Even if those items were purchased to be consumed the same day. Not doing so, leads to a violation of their terms and service. Their rewards earning structure has been gradually decreasing as seed money and VC funding is drying up. Essentially, you’re giving up more and more of your data while receiving less. That’s not an equitable trade off. Avoid and consider one their several competitors.

Love this app!. We’re really enjoying this app! Love getting something back for my grocery shopping ~ I’ll admit I’m always considering prices while trying to make the healthiest decisions I can. This makes those choices a bit easier & I love the additional info provided about the food I’m buying and the companies producing it. About to redeem another $5 :) Thank you Merryfield!

Merryfield App. Merryfield is such a great app! You are able to scan receipts on purchases made and receive points for those receipts. Then, check this out… you can receive rewards in the form of gift cards for the points accumulated. And unlike other apps like Fetch, the gift cards look more polished and arrive the same day - there is no waiting period.

Great app!. It’s easy to claim rewards - I’ve claimed and used them in the same day before! - and the points really do add up! They keep adding new brands to their list, too! I was worried that the app would be stagnant and die after a while (like so many reward apps do) but that’s certainly not the case with this one! The customer service team is exceptional, too!

Great app supports great products!. Works well and has a long list of wonderful sustainable, healthy products and companies as partners. My only issue is with linking a couple of stores, which for some reason don’t stay linked. Also would love to see more favorites added, including local and regional companies.

Scammers who don’t make good. Had this app for months and after earning enough points through their system, I tried to redeem a gift card to Target, only for them to shut down my account. When I reached out to their support team, I wasn’t given an explanation as to why (after explaining none of my actions should have violated any term)— and was sent a cookie cutter response of “we shut down accounts that violate our terms of service— thank for reaching out” and that was that. Months and personal info spend on nothing. Scammers, do not download or use.

Walmart. 3 different times this happened to me, it will tell me my receipt is a duplicate and not give me points. I do have my Walmart account hooked up to the app, but that doesn’t matter with a physical receipt from in-store shopping. The few times that I use Walmart+ I did not receive a physical receipt. It gets sent to my phone. When I reach out to customer service, they tell me that it is a duplicate which is aggravating because all they have to do is look at the items and the date and see that it’s not

Sold Its Soul. Once good app to encourage healthier eating by incentivizing better-for-you purchases was sold and under new ownership reduced reward points per dollar spent to where they are now lip service, made scanning receipts just as irrelevant, the only worthwhile feature being the weekly offers are now exclusively products not sold in my state, and wants to offload the user base to inflate players numbers of micro transaction mobile games. Is a soda matching memory game really representative of the Merryfield lifestyle brand? Merryfield was my favorite grocery shopping rewards app. This isn’t Merryfield anymore.

Love saving. I love that I’m getting rewarded for eating well-made foods. My only thing I would love to see added to the app is the ability to connect with Thrive Market online or some how submit their receipts. I purchase a lot of my staples through them and it would be a nice addition to my rewards

Don’t waste your time. I recently cashed in my points for a gift card & deleted the app. It was no longer worth my time as they keep reducing the amount of points per receipt from 50 when I started to 3 points when I left! It takes forever to earn points unless you’re willing to spend more money on what they consider “better for you” products. Translation, spending more money on products I don’t use just to earn points. It takes way too long to earn points & I’m not wasting my time on games. I’ll stick with Fetch. I still receive 25 points per receipt unless I buy a specific product.
