I want to love love it, but the UI is bizarre. I really want to love this app. There’s a lot of great features and has so much going for it. My biggest problem is with the photo editing menu (adjust, transform, color, etc). It drive me nuts when I’m trying to adjust an object and I’m using the options in the menu on the bottom and the top half shrinks to allow the menu to expand. That’s fine and all, but WHY doesn’t the photo expand back when an object is being adjusted, or filtered? It’s microscopic, how can I possibly tell if the angle rotation is correct when the object is the size of a penny? Sometimes the photo does re-expand, but I’ve noticed when there’s more than one object, the sizing isn’t automatic. PLEASE keep the menu and photos STATIC. I want to scroll through the menu, the resizing is SO bizarre and unnecessary.

The best mobile and desktop app I’ve ever had. This is seriously the best app overall that I’ve worked with that allows me no bg temova limitations, or any limits when subscribed to pro. The pro subscription is well worth the small cost they charge. A few suggestions that might help - Add an easy way to zoom into the image you’re editing the cutout of. I have to currently go on my computer and zoom in using the computers zoom in now. The browser zoom doesn’t work. - add a button to allow you to get into the magic studio without having to reup load an image. Currently I don’t see an easy way to navigate to the magic studio anywhere except the main page. - add a function for auto lighting correction - add an artifact remover function - Add an image enhancer function that renders an images visual quality in hd

Slow. Idk what happened but I’ve been using this app, the pro version I pay for, and it has been slow and glitchy. I’ve been using this professionally for my online business for almost 2 years. I’m getting frustrated with this and about ready to find another app. The past couple months it has caused me nothing but problems. It keeps losing my saved fonts and only displaying recommended ones. I’ve had to go and re-save( I know that’s not a word but I’m using it anyways) fonts multiple times. That is really time consuming. I’ll be in the middle of using this app and it’ll disconnect and I end up losing my work. I’ve tried everything to try to rule out whether it’s the app or something else. My internet connection is fine, my devices are fine and everything current on software/app updates. It does this on my phone, iPad and laptop. It takes me twice as much work than it use too. The whole idea of the subscription is to save me valuable time and lately it has not. If this continues for the next week I’m finding another app.

Great App. Really easy to use. the free versions auto background removal is pretty accurate if the photo you’re editing has a solid background, hit or miss otherwise and you can’t adjust the cut without paying. Ive been so happy with it, I was just about to buy the free version (and I never buy apps), until I saw the price.... and that it’s monthly. I would have been ok with a $10 one time purchase but add the word monthly and I’ve immediately checked out. There should be another buying option for those who don’t need thousands of templates and aren’t using the app daily.

Was better a month ago... Overall this still works better than eBay and other editing apps, even after the last round of disastrous updates. I would’ve given 5 stars a month ago, hands down! But now it’s unresponsive to the back arrow at times, is taking 2X longer to scan very simple images (straight lines on a contrasting background) and now EVERY little touch is recognized as a erase or add (red/green functions), even when I’m just pinch-zooming with BOTH fingers. And it totally slows the process. It absolutely did not do that before. It was precise and did not cause me to hit the undo button several times for one photo just for moving it around. Figure out these issues, and I’ll certainly update back to a 5! Thanks!

New update is bad and seems to cause my app to crash. Since your new update, I cannot as easily batch edit my photos. I’ve tried many apps and this one has been the best but I don’t understand why the format for batch editing needed to change. Before I would edit the picture and apply to many and background too would carry over to all and now you have to select a background to the photos twice and it is slower and not as intuitive. Also It works with maybe 8-10 photos and now the app crashes if you select more. Essentially adding time to what used to be simple job. This company needs to remember that when they offer a paid app, a small business has invested money for the extra ease and has built it into their business model and relies on it but when the ease goes away it is a huge wrench put into your workflow. PhotoRoom, I look forward to you improving so I don’t have to leave you. Thanks

Love the app. This is great for removing backgrounds. I like the different features it provides. However, there is one little caveat that I dislike about the scanning. Obviously lighting is very key to the scanning process but if your product has a shadow underneath (or maybe it doesn’t) it will remove it. For example, I tried to scan a car. There is enough lighting foe the product to show up all its features including its legs. However, when the app scans, it will leave out one leg or not scan them at all. I’ve read the articles and I don’t see mention of this issue. Unless of course you buy their PRO. Maybe in the near future I may do that, but for now - the features they provide for free are more than enough for what I need. It saves me so much time in removing backgrounds and if it scans and leaves something out then I go to another app to adjust it and come back to this one to remove the rest. Highly recommend this app!

Latest update kills usefulness for CDs and DVDs. Until recently, I loved this app. However, recent changes are forcing me to consider abandoning it. It seems to want to remove everything around a person, which for some types of product is not a good thing. I sell a lot of media online and with CDs almost every one has people on it. In the last few weeks, following their updates, havoc has been wreaked upon my product photos.I cringe when I see a CD that has a person on a somewhat white background anymore, something that never happened. In fact, I cringe every time I see a person at all. Whatever recent changes occurred have not been for the better for my product needs. It’s frustrating because I know what the app used to do but I’m left now with what it does currently, which is: causing me to take multiple photographs to finally get one that takes, or sometimes not photograph an inventory item at all because no matter how many times I try to photograph it it won’t take. Very disheartening. If not fixed soon I will be canceling my subscription, which is not something I planned to do. This was my go to app and now it’s virtually unusable.

It’s perfect. Saw the ad for it on TikTok. Figured when I was going to start selling stuff again I would use it. Sure enough, I tried it out and it’s everything I had thought and more. I’m very picky about editing apps and this is perfect. It’s simple, fast, efficient, and has all the right tools. It’s very clean. Most cropping apps take a minute to crop and then you always have to go in and do a lot of fine tuning. This app does is it super quickly and gets it done the first time. It’s easy to make adjustments if you need to. It’s also easy to build collages, they have awesome glitch effects, you can make things move, they have a lot of good background options and templates … It’s great. I know this review was worded horribly, but the app is great. So yeah, if you’re looking to sell clothes (or other things) this app is definitely worth it. The only downside is the $10 a month that you have to pay for the pro version. I have the trial right now but it also seems like there is a lot you can do with the free version if you don’t want to pay. Which is nice. But also this will definitely increase your sales so I’m sure it’s worth it. (Maybe a longer free trial to give people the chance to get selling would be nice) The other thing is that they do offer a LIFETIME PURCHASE OPTION which I honestly REALLY APPRECIATE. There are a lot of apps that I just deleted right away because they have expensive monthly fees and no option to buy it outright. No phone app is worth that cr@p.

the only app i pay for lol. i just got done editing a photo and felt so good about it i had to write a review. i’ve had the app for YEARS and always loved it but i just got the free trial of pro last night and it’s a frickin game changer. this thing can cut out anything you want and the SHADOW FEATURE IS INSANE!!!! that alone is worth it. i took a horrible photo that i hated and now it’s my favorite picture of myself (i really wish i could upload before and after pics because it’s crazy good). the only thing i will say that’s annoying is that you can’t zoom in on a photo, so when i’m adding tiny objects i have to guesstimate where to put it because i can’t enlarge the photo itself. it makes sense but i wish there was an option for this! or at least like a magnifying glass or something. overall AMAZING app, just know that it will decrease your photo quality without pro (just figured this out)

Love Love Love 💕. This is a lifesaver if you have an online business! It has everything you need to make your photos the way you want them, without all the hassle of setting different scenes up on your own! The best thing about it is, it’s simple to use, whereas a lot of apps are a pain in the *#%, to use! If your like me and you just don’t like to take all the photos of you product, because it takes half of your day up… you need this app! I actually look forward to taking the pictures and editing them now! I 100 percent recommend this app! It’s great even if you don’t have a business. It’s fun to play around with it, and give your photos a new look!!

No customer service and a scam. I paid the $9.99 for the pro subscription. I tried to use the app and it said I hadn’t paid. I looked at my bank statement and the charge is on there. I contacted their help center and I sent photos of my charge. They told me I was never charged lol… clearly I was…I sent the photos and it says on my iPad that I have the subscription but I can not use the app it keeps asking me to sign up for pro again. After I sent the photos I received no response after making two separate conversations with their “help agents”. No phone number nothing to call they just get my $ and I am screwed. Waiting for apple to send me a refund which will probably take 5-10 business days. Not worth it you can find apps out here that are actually free with no subscriptions look up BG eraser. Save yourself the money and hassle!

Wish I knew about this earlier!. I’m really only beginning to learn about how fast and easy this app truly is, but I’m 100% happy with it and I’m considering going to the pro upgrade! That said, I have been able to do a very reasonable amount of fancy photo upgrades on the free platform, so it’s really made for everybody in that you can for sure get tons of use out of it in just the free version. The pro upgrade lets you do things faster like upload and edit the background of large batches of photos. In the free version, you just do it one photo at a time. I dabble in online selling and this is PERFECT for adding cool backgrounds to my images or cutting out background clutter that would have made my photos look unprofessional without this as an option! Developers: THANK YOU for your free features and for your hard work in this build! I don’t usually write much for a review but I’m so excited that I really sat down and learned about what I could do with your program. Thanks again 😀

This is a great app but.... I really like this app. It quickly became my 3rd most daily used app. Unfortunately I had to cancel my subscription. Not for the cost, even tho it isn’t cheap. When your putting together an image the layers tool is totally in the way and can’t be minimized, moved or customized to a different side place so it when it cover the spot your working on it becomes a pain. Having the layer title always up saying “object” beside the highlighted layer tab Is totally in the way. Then having to begin the process of sending it to get that preview screen just to have to go back and adjust it (With the layer bar still in the way) trying to manipulate it where you want. Having to adjust it and preview again. Totally ruined the experience and adds a layer of difficulty to something that’s already tedious. I’ll still be using the app because it makes my store look great. For anything besides making the background of a single individual item white I’ll have to go elsewhere.

Seller’s Dream App!. I am so excited about this app!! I’ve tried sooo many different apps to get a clean white background and most of them are time consuming. Not this app! Plus it even has templates for certain selling apps like Poshmark and Depop and I think some others. But, hands down this is the BEST app for seller’s to make their photos look professional in no time flat. No more constantly tweeking photos for half the day!! Way to go! I hope the good stuff keeps coming! Love love love!! Happy customer here. The only thing, I will probably upgrade to Pro because it does leave their logo in the bottom corner. You can go to mark up on your iPhone to wipe it off tho. But that’s another step.

I am amazed !!!! Super super Easy & Professional. I just started and have only done about 20 images! I am amazed at how fast and easy this app literally is! I have tried several different ones and stopped right away! This app is designed for ease and to help your photos look extra professional. I found out about it from a reseller friend and decided to give it a try! It has completely inspired me to list so much more with this app! Highly highly recommend - You deserve it and it takes away so much editing time! Woohoo!

Too slow to keep up with me. PhotoRoom was a great app when I was first starting out reselling on eBay. It was a great help in making my pictures look good. Now that I’ve been doing this for about a year I’ve improved my processes and I just don’t have time to wait for PhotoRoom anymore. It has become slower over time… from bringing up the app to waiting for it to remove the background, to then going to the create screen and waiting for it to load. I waste a tremendous amount of time now just waiting for the app. Sometimes it will continue to scan for 30-45 seconds trying to determine the edges… why can’t I just stop the scan process and manually mark the areas? While it really helped in the beginning, I’m now going to build my own photography area with a white screen so I can take quick pics and move on.

Download it!. I never give reviews but I’ve been looking for an app to remove and replace backgrounds, I have downloaded over 15 and none of them have been able to complete this simple task. This is the first and only app I have found that does exactly what I need it to. It’s so easy to use, it also has its section of filters and effects but this app also provides its own shadows as well as numerous layers (again, it’s SO easy to use) that you can change and make look better, there’s also more simple things like blurring and cropping, this app has almost everything I have been looking for. I 100% recommend you download it

Animal Shelter’s Dream!. In an attempt to help the local shelter, I’ve been taking pictures of the dogs for them. I get some great shots using squeekie toys, cheese and whistles, but my backgrounds consist of chain link fences, trash cans, kennels and all sorts of other clutter. This app has been a literal lifesaver for some of these pups. The theme for February was Romance Novels and the way I was able to get those furry faces onto interesting and eye catching “book covers” really made the difference in our adoption rates. The click counts on the website and FB pages went through the roof. The app is very easy to use, so versatile and the creative possibilities are endless.

Rev. to Previous Review Buyer Beware. I use a background removing tool daily for my eBay store. I had been using Pixelcut, but went in search of an alternative as I was tired of manually erasing missed background items in my pictures. PhotoRoom was one of the apps I tried and WOW! It is a game changer in removing backgrounds, HOWEVER, if you want to use the photo editing feature like ‘touch-up,’ beware. The developers use AI assisted tools to heal pics but they have included - no, forced on us - these nifty little tools which one cannot turn OFF. Consequently, trying to resize the pic by pinching often causes activation of one of these tools and it wipes out everything in its path. I am continually hitting undo as I try to resize again and again and again and again. I’m trying to decide which app I waste more time with.

In our 20 years doing photography and eCommerce and product sales this simple app is absolutely the best app we ever found. It’s incredible how clean the edges are when you crop out product images. People or any objects too. FAST, professional, now you can export in .jpg or .png format. At the low price it is, IT IS A MUST HAVE APP. Endless Possibilities. Pleasantly surprised by this app. What you get for a fair price, is a very accurate background eraser and a whole bunch of tools to help you create any layout you desire. The interface is super easy to navigate and within seconds, I had removed the backgrounds from 15 pictures and ended up creating a new facebook profile picture and modified several pictures using their ebay picture tool that made my ebay listings look instantly much more professional. This is such a great app compared to three other background remover apps I tried before this one. First time in a while I feel like I m getting more than expected from an app that can actually really do what it says it can. TRY IT.

Phenomenal !!!. I don’t write reviews often if ever. I think I can count on maybe one hand how many I have written but I DO read them every time I consider downloading an app. They DO make a difference in my decision process. Why I decided to download this app escapes my memory to be honest. I have 10+ other apps similar to what this one claims and frankly I need another like a hole in my head. However after using it for less that 5 mins I was not only ecstatic but amazed as well at the user friendly and intuitive functions and pleasantly surprised how many options and features it has. I am really excited to use it more and possibly update my review with what I find. Until then I highly recommend it and will tell everyone I know about it. Staple in my Business. I use PhotoRoom and Oneshop Daily for my Online Fashion Jewelry Store. I can perform basic edits,Change my background, delete my background add extras and even add my own watermarks all within a few minutes in Batch mode. The developers definitely take requests and listen to us when we need any kind of assistance. Recently I wrote to them complaining about there last update how in removed my favorite template of keep background the same and now it is fixed! Thanks again for such an amazing and useful app will definitely be a forever premium subscriber!

Best App Ever!. I’ve tried for 4 years now to find an app that will allow me to easily remove the background for my Poshmark closet listings and this app takes just seconds to the job and even has a number of free additional features that I will use frequently that are amazing! I’ve only used this for 2 days now and I’m going to go ahead and subscribe for the PRO edition, not because the free version doesn’t do most everything I need it for, but there’s so many additional features I’d love to use that the $10 monthly fee is more than worth it! I have about 1,000 listings in my Poshmark closet and at least 1,500 more to list and I’m going to update all of my photos this week to finally give me closet a cleaner and more uniform look. It’s completely changed the look of my listings and I can’twait to update the rest of my closet!!

3 day free trial costs you.. I can’t speak for the usage of the app itself because as soon as I downloaded it I decided to try the pro out like I do with all my paid apps. Might as well try the free trial to see if it’s something I’ll actually use, then keep it or not depending on my experience and how useful the app is to me. However even though the terms say you will not be charged until the 3 day free trial is over, my card was instantly charged $12 and some change to cover the first month. If the app was useful and abided by their own policies I wouldn’t have had any issues paying for it. However they can’t even get their own policy set properly, how do we know their network security is stable? I have canceled the subscription and hopefully if you choose to try it out you don’t have this issue.

I can't believe you ruined it. You know, up until this past week, PhotoRoom was my favorite app. It was one of only 2 apps that I've ever paid for. I've used free ones most of my career. But this one WAS perfect, so I felt like it was actually worth my money. But they changed the entire way we can erase/change the background in it with what I can only assume was an "update". Well thanks for ruining a fantastic app. I went from being able to do 10 pictures in 20 minutes to it now taking 20 minutes per photo. It's complete garbage now! I will no longer be paying to use this useless app. I will move to a different app because ur product is now worse than ANY free app I've ever used & ive used a lot. I'm extremely disappointed. U should roll back the update and go back to the PhotoRoom it was 2 weeks ago.

BEST APP EVER. I have NEVER wrote a review for an app partly because I don’t really care about these things but this app is AMAZING. I have used SO many apps in the past to try and get a white background and this app BLOWS my mind. I’m literally screaming inside right now because I’m so happy with this app. I am a seller and I take pictures of my items and post them online and it’s so hard to get a professional looking white background(this app has MANY different backgrounds but I needed white). This app is so easy to use. Literally I upload the picture and it takes a quick scan of the picture and automatically clears the background for me and gives me other options but I always choose white. This app is actually amazing. You can pay for a premium membership but even the FREE membership is AMAZING. I am so so happy right now because all my pictures look soo professional props to this app!!

Best I’ve found for easy white background swap!. I don’t bother writing reviews for apps. Seriously, I think this might be my first ever. Needed a tool to give products plain white background. That’s it...you’d think that would be easy to find a good tool for this application but most were either very complicated or the auto object detection was so poor that it took forever to manually clean it up. At that point I might as well just use photoshop. This tool usually does a pretty good job on the auto detection but most of my images require a little finessing however it’s pretty easy. Sometimes it NAILS it immediately and I do a silent cheer in my head. The only improvement I might suggest (it may already be possible but my tech challenged self hasn’t found it) would be the ability to adjust the degree of opacity when filling in areas that should be filled. Fantastic tool for me and I am looking at whether the Pro version would offer any significant benefits for the types of editing I am doing. The sub price is much more economical for me than other apps that charge a per photo fee.

Professional Feel with Amateur Quality. I’m a content creator and fell in love with this app when I got it. It’s a quick way to isolate objects & people to create fun pieces for my work. However, I noticed that the image quality is horrible on export. The biggest issue is how the text degrades. I could look past the original image, but the text is awful to look at on a computer or iPad screen. Would’ve given 5 stars but image quality is crucial these days, we’re not on Blackberries and Nokias anymore. The app also requires good internet connection which isn’t a major issue, but can be a setback if you’re trying to get something done in bad signal areas. This also means that sometimes I can’t find the layout I want/plan to use because they’re populated per upload. I’d love to give this 5 stars, or even 4. But I need better quality 😭

Easy and free!. I rarely write a review on apps. But it’s really imoressive and I think it’s somehow better than popular ones. I googled which photo edit app is good the crop the object and replace a background. I tried almoat 7-8 recommended apps. Some require we have to cut the edge of the object which is very difficult and doesn’t result clean cut(as you can imagine). On the other hand, once you upload your photo, this app cuts clean of objects automatically. Also some apps are free to download but costs you to save the final photos. This is absolutely free!! I strongly recommend this. Especially someone like me, not tech savvt, not good at using complicated function. Whoever developed this, they did a good job👍👍

Absolutely Love It!!. I don’t think I’ve ever wrote a review for any apps before and I had to do it for this one. I sell online and I have downloaded probably 10 or more apps because I was looking to edit my photos and really didn’t like any of them. I happen to come across this app from a YouTuber so I decided to try it out. What a game changer! I was so happy that I bought the Pro Version because this company deserves it! It’s absolutely Amazing! Gives a white background right away or you can add a different background like brick, color, design. Contrast the picture and then contrast the background separately. You can start your picture from square for Poshmark, Instagram size, FB ad size pictures. If too much of the picture was whitened you can paint that back in the picture or erase parts that you want whitened. If you sell online you MUST have this app!!

Mixed Feelings. 25 June 2022 Despite PhotoRoom having a learning curve and somewhat awkward UI, I like the results of the things done during the user trial of the app. What I do not care for is the editing and background removal functionality being split between two very expensive annual subscriptions, $69/year for the pro photo editor, $69/year for the pro background removal for a total of $138/year for both pro functionalities without even a discount for subscribing to both. I am not a business. So really, both subscription rates are extremely costly for a hobbiest who makes nothing off of photography. I also dislike combining two apps into one just to trap people into having to pay for two subscriptions. When it comes down to it, PhotoRoom is more expensive than Adobe products which I absolutely will not buy/subscribe to. All in all, the ROI on the app is terrible and it demonstrates how subscriptions are just getting way out of hand. It is a shame when greediness exceeds the true cost for R&D on an app like this.

Was very doubtful. Saw this app on an ad Instagram and was very skeptical of whether or not it worked. However, I thought I’d try it out, and I am glad I did. This app is great! With a new baby it’s hard get time to go to my computer and spend time editing photos and removing backgrounds. This app makes it super easy to do and all from the comfort of your phone wherever you are. I wish it were cheaper per month without having to commit to a year long subscription but from initial testing of what it can do without much training/practice I have no doubt it’s worth the price.

App doesn’t work half the time and worst customer service. I have been using this app for months and if there isn’t perfect service or wifi it doesn’t work about half the time. Moreover, I have a paid account with this app and I don’t have access to my features!!! One day I just logged into the app and all of a sudden my features are gone even though my subscription is valid and I paid. I also can’t use the desktop app with my paid subscription - their backend doesn’t recognize me. I have reached out to customer service for days attempting to fix this issue and there’s no response. I am Now going to challenge the charge on my credit card and attempt to get my money back that way. Use Adobe Express. It does all the same things but without the absolute disaster of a customer service regime that doesn’t respond. Terrible app.

There is no Free Version Anymore?. I am still considering paying for this app, but it’s not b/c I want to. Yesterday, I opened the app and it said that I’ve used my free 66 photos and now most are locked and the most recent ones have a countdown timer to when they will become locked, too. It feels manipulative, I thought the free version gave you the 2 basic backgrounds. Nope, they give you the 2 free basic background for your first 66 photo projects. Then, without warning- they take access and demand that you put in a credit card number before you can access your photos again. Pretty sneaky, if you ask me…. People that download you app and use it for business would probably be willing to pay for a monthly subscription, but don’t pretend that they can just use the basic free version and get by- because, you can’t. It’s a good app, but seems shady that suddenly they are demanding payment. Is the company running into legal or financial trouble, I wonder? Should we all find a new photo app b/c this one is going down with the ship? Hmm..

Something happened. This app is perfect for what I need to do when photographing items for resale. But it has issues and there seems to be no way to contact support. I’ve been using PhotoRoom Pro for over 2 years and have always had issues with the color of my item not matching the photo taken and uploaded by PhotoRoom. It usually requires a great amount of editing to make the color match with the actual item. This uses a lot of my valuable time! I use the camera within the app and have also tried selecting the photo from my photos…same issue…colors don’t match when uploaded to PhotoRoom. Just recently, the app lags between steps or freezes and then shuts down. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled, updated, restarted my phone (apple 12 pro max)…no improvement. Please help …

New Batch Update issues. Updated the app but prefer the old batch mode look. Where I'm editing one and I can still see all the other photos above and can scroll through them instead of having to exit out of my editing and see a full page of photos. The large "apply to others" banner also gets in the way of clicking the other photos when you exit the editing. Also being able to export indivial photos from the batch was great from the previous batch mode layout too. Used the new batch update and finished editing multiple photo. The app exports most of them to my photo gallery but not all. The ones not exported show an empty X square next to the checked list of exported photos at the end. (Ex: I edit a batch of 30 photos. Click export to gallery and only 25 show up even though the app shows that all have been exported .)

Why do you keep changing things??. I was a huge fan of this app and gladly paid for a year subscription, but then there have been tweaks and changes that began to frustrate me, and now you’ve made changes today that have made this once a simplistic tool I was happy to use into something ridiculous, WHY did you change the format?! Why can I no longer edit my background horizontal vertical levels anymore and WHY did you replace these tools with animated glitches?? This is NOT I paid for, these silly things are useless for the everyday seller, if it’s something people use for social media then make it separate, don’t take away and change the format, plus the layout is now odd and it’s adding my QR code’s automatically and I don’t need or want it…ughhhh! Please change it back so I can use this again! I rarely write reviews and funny enough I had to seek you out unsolicited to leave a review because I’m so pleased! I am using the pro version and so far it’s worth every penny as I use it daily for editing pictures of things I sell online and just for fun creative projects! There are a few quirks here and there but for the most part this is by far the most simplistic (user friendly for all) yet highly capable photo app editor in it’s category so far, keep adding more features and make a desktop version 😁

Fantastic app for product photos! However, I wish it didn’t crash every 2 seconds.. I absolutely adore this app. What would usually take hours gets cut down to just minutes. It recognizes items extremely well, so you don’t need to go through the tedious process of editing the background and item for a white background. I use this app almost every day for work. I work for a small business shoe company and I have to take photos and put them in a product line sheet for our company. This app is a true life saver (and time saver). I would highly recommend this app. This app worked flawlessly for months but is now crashing a lot after a recent update. Hopefully that gets fixed soon. Your draft is saved, so you can come back to wherever you were when it crashes.

Great for outfit planning and interior design. I absolutely love this app! I use the free version, which leaves a small white logo on the final image that doesn’t bother me - if I ever share the images, I’m happy for others to see that I used this app. I currently use it for adding clothes to Stylebook for inventory and outfit planning (this app is SO much better than the background remover built into Stylebook) and for adding furniture and decor to my personal Morpholio room designs (so handy when buying second hand). It’s so fast and more often than not, finds the outline of the item perfectly; but if it doesn’t, the “refine” option works really well and much faster than another background remover app I’ve tried.

Easy to use. I have the free version, and so far it’s working well for me. I’ve used other cutting tools, and this is so much easier. I don’t really mind the watermark on the free version, and since I’m just looking to get rid of some stuff, I don’t need the other features. I can see where batch feature would come in handy for a business owner. I do wish it gave me an obvious warning before attempting to batch that it’s a pro feature, but instead it let me upload a batch that I can’t access. Not sure, but I think this process zeroed out my phone battery in minutes. Otherwise, so far so good.

Privacy concerns! App itself is amazing.. I love this app for its simplicity and its functionality. The AI is really good about figuring out what is the subject and cutting it out properly. Really, really good. HOWEVER, a few times now when I’ve opened the app I get the iOS warning “photo room has pasted from clipboard.” If you have copy/pasted a password or credit card number recently, PhotoRoom now has that text! This was the entire reason that Apple added that pop up. Because apps would skim your clipboard in hopes of getting something worthwhile. This is definitely something that I will report. If you continue to use this, make sure you copy something benign to your clipboard before you open the app so that they get nothing useful.

Backgrounds switching & auto cut. I absolutely LOVEEE THIS APP!! It has auto cut out where it can pretty much get it right 98% of the time without me doing anything at all! For example, it will take the person I want out of the photo so none of the background is there anymore just the person or ppl or item etc I want is outlined by the smart technology & removed from whatever else is in said photo! I love this because doing it on my own I would always miss stuff or get stuff I didn’t want to get so it wasn’t good cut outs when I did it on my own.. even when I do have to do touch ups, the smart technology makes it SO simple to get what I want fixed.. & for changing the background it’s so easy & flawless. This is all without paying for the app, if I had the money I’d do the paid version bc they have such great features on the free version I can only imagine for a paid version! :)

Latest Update Needs Updating. I love this app and use it constantly. The latest update, however, has a few annoying bugs. I mainly use it to remove backgrounds, and since the update, it leaves large streaks as soon as I put my stylus down. Not every time, but very often. Then I have to go back and fill it in. It’s a nuisance. Also, pls keep the orientation the same when the iPad is flipped. It used to be like that and I could easily work from both sides of an image. Now I have to work from the same side regardless of how I turn my iPad, and being right-handed, erasing on the left is a real pain. If you could pls fix these two things, I’d happily upgrade my rating to 5 stars.

Life changing. So I've always HATED how my product photos would come out and I offer so many different items of different sizes so a light box has never been an option and I saw a commercial on Tiktok for this app and I'm obsessed!!! I upgraded to the PRO version and I'm so happy I did! Now when im getting ready to launch a new website all my photos will look the same and be sooo amazing! Plus it's great to use some of the bonus features and backgrounds to make Instagram photos too! I will forever share this app with my followers!!!

Bait-and-switch like new marketing tacit. Permanent watermark all over the images. I loved the app and would have given it 5 flying stars and a very positive review. However yesterday I found all of my images covered with a permanent net-like PhotoRoom logo watermark, making it completely useless. The app offed me to remove the watermark if I subscribed to Pro version. I wish i would have known about these marketing imposed limits on the usage of the free version so I could plan ahead, count my exports or simply opt out for another alternative. Now I have no idea what to do... will the watermarks disappear one day as they appeared? Or should I abandon the app for good? I understand that this is one of your marketing tactics to make people signup for a pro version. However, it is done poorly, as this information on limits is not present anywhere leaving users shocked and frustrated, feeling like bait and switch. If your strategy is to become an exclusive-paid subscription only app - you should be clear about it up front. Transparency is a form of respect towards your users and lack of it will cost your app those precious rating stars. I hope your marketing team will figure a less destructive way to increase sales.

Ehhhh. What makes me really angry is that the good features you want to use are basically all premium and the ones that are left don’t work that well. The retouching just makes it look super weird! Also whenever you are done with your photo the water mark is there. And OF COURSE to delete it it’s going to be premium I can’t express how much i hate premium services because not all people are going to want download an app for fun and be reminded that you need to have premium in order to have “fun.” Anyways, the water mark it makes my photos look trashy and when I actually got a photo I liked I had to crop of the whole entire bottom because of that water mark. Overall not a great app buy if you want to blur something out but otherwise don’t waste your time.

FINALLY! photo app that ACTUALLY WORKS!. FREE to download, FREE to use! The Pro add on is worth it but not required to use. I know nobody ever believes someone when they say something ACTUALLY WORKS and they still don’t believe when you say “I know they’ll never believe me” but this APP is a the real MaCoy, a true GAME CHANGER! Its brought new life to my once dingy photos. I even have new profile photos! Advanced algorithms get a perfect 1st edit and if there should be something you want to take out or add back in it’s so simple with the easy to use interface. TONS of picture options, including free ones. Buying the Pro add on is NOT required or necessary to use the app but it does open up loads more backgrounds and layouts.

Great app. Great app. A few things to point out. If you don’t know this you can gave thousands of pictures saved that you may not wants. It will eat up a lot of phone space. I’ve spent weeks deleting my online selling photos. They said there is no way to mass delete which is a function that really needs to be added. The other issue is some of the backgrounds on the create mode aren’t available on the batch mode. Would be awesome for the instant backgrounds to be added. But overall it’s an incredible app. With fantastic backgrounds.

Cool. This is amazing but there is a pro thing that cost money and I really want to get it but I can’t I think it is a good thing to play when you are board and you don’t just have to take pictures of you, you can take it of other people and you can use some from your galley

Good for shop owners. I’ve only just become a pro member and already I’m loving it! We have a shop, so it’s been great showcasing our products. I initially bought the app for photographing our furniture as we don’t have a nice staging area. My only gripe is I wish the automatic editor when it’s scanning the furniture would be a little more advanced. For background staging it usually misses off the legs etc. I know this can be done manually but I mess it up & don’t have the time, which is why I bought this in the 1st place. When I have removed an item from the photo, I’m also left with a grey & white checked area - when I would prefer it to mimic the surrounding colour (such as removing a a photo frame from the picture, I’m left with a gaping hole when it would be nice if you could cut and paste another part of the sideboard to fill the gap in the same colour/texture)

Multiple select is finally here. The photo limit is now 250 photos, still not enough for some of us but hey not everything can be perfect. The devs are quite flexible to the critical reviews, thanks for the response. The guided cut-out is still a little flawed but hey, not everything can be perfect and it’s good enough. Easy Peasy to use with great results. Enjoying this app immensely . The next day after downloading and using free app I up graded to pro as I could tell it was going to make a big difference to my sales . Incredibly fast and so simple to use .

Simple and easy. Wish I had found this earlier on. It is simple and easy to use the only down side is It sometimes picks up some of the back ground or wipes out my fames. But it is great for for a quick and easy way to put paintings up online.

Best app by far!. Tried 3 other apps before this one and it is by far the best. Easy to work out and quick to remove background.

Easy background removal. With an intuitive GUI, removing & replacing backgrounds is super easy. When the auto removal goes a little too far, simply use the ‘refine edges’ tool. I love this app!

Review. Have just had a quick trial play with 20 saves. So far a really good app. There’s a couple of glitches sometimes when it can’t differentiate between the background and the object but otherwise it works really well.

Internet connection?. Was just about to buy the app - it actually works really well. Then did a test. Turned off my internet connection. App won’t work :-( Is the processing performed locally or in-cloud? If local, why is an internet connection required? If In-cloud, regardless of your privacy policy, I don’t want my images to leave my device. Happy to remove/edit this review if I’m wrong.

Disappointing. I was charge a full 12 months subscription after a trial. I wanted to pay monthly - there should be an option as contact details for customer service are hard to find. Having said that the chat feature solved my problem overnight and I am happy with their resolution. The app is quite good. Options for movies/ reels would be an improvement as would improving the AI feature that sometimes gets it wrong when generating images. Labels are wrong and other features of the image appear in the wrong place such as a product in the ocean or beach as opposed to on a rock where it has been placed. Overall not a bad product but I need to pay for a month to really see how it works.

Makes my life 10x easier. I am technologically challenged however this app is simple and easy to use. It is great for me as a beginner and I imagine has the capacity to provide more comprehensive tools for more advanced users.

Great too, but….. Most recent update seems to make the cutout tool significantly worse! Usually it will find the edges perfectly however now it’s missing heaps and the edit cutout tool leaves a lot to be desired as it only makes it worse when trying to correct. Otherwise brilliant app!

Trial Run Recommended. A simple photo corrector solution to bring your reselling pictures to life. They are polished with a great finish and enables you to take photos anywhere. The app does all the hard work to make the pesky background details disappear. The app also gives you precious time and working space back and quite possibly your sanity.

Great but over-priced subscription. I will not subscribe to most apps. If I did I would be paying thousands of dollars each year and not getting value. For example, I would use Photoroom a few times a month. So I can't get value from a fairly expensive subscription. This obviously excludes me from it's full use. I wish app developers would realise that Adobe has brought a curse by introducing subscription based usage, unless it was very, very reasonably priced.

Well worth the money. I never write reviews or pay a lot for apps but this one works so well, after trying other apps that do a crappy job of removing the background. It saves me so much time, I don’t have to stop and use Photoshop on my PC.

Good grief, it’s magic!. Having spent years of my life carefully creating masks for object cut outs via the big programs, this small app is ridiculously simple, and well worth the money. If only it had been around 20 years ago… Looking forward to future updates, more background options would be great, they all follow a certain theme and variation would make a huge difference. Consider opening it to user contributions, i.e. a user gallery where people can put their background creations as an accessible download for others to use.

Tried heaps for free this was the best. Honestly, I have no benefit from writing this review but this is the one you want. Based on how good the free version is (best of maybe 7 I tried) I’m getting pro. You don’t need pro that’s just how good the free version is.

Endless loop after editing photos. I recently downloaded this app to edit photos and remove some objects from the background. Once I’m finished, the app seems to be on an endless loop of trying to load the photo and never actually finishes. I get that it might take time for it to process (a long time), but it doesn’t give any indication of what percentage it’s up to. Maybe the app is bugged or something for me. Using an iPhone 14 Pro so the issue isn’t with the phone itself.

Great app. This app is useful however it is way to expensive. $54. 99 a year is a lot and I don’t think you should be charged that straight away. I wasn’t offered a monthly subscription, so I have had to cancel the yearly subscription that has been deducted from my account and I would like a refund as I wasn’t warned that the money was being deducted from my account. Apart from this the app itself is solid and useful.

Impressed!. I don’t ever write reviews, but this app is defiantly worth the time. I’m currently only using the free version, but plan on buying the pro. What you have to use in the free version is basic, but still impressive, with access to many different templates & background options. The apps ability to scan an item out of a photo is top notch. I’m currently doing it with photos of jewellery I’ve taken & it’s doing it with very little issues, the outlines are clear & rarely are details cut off or missed. If this does happen though you can correct it manually, which although can be a little fiddly it’s also a life saver. I highly recommend this app to people who sell products & need to up their game when it comes to presentation. Even the free version won’t disappoint!

Pretty impressive. Been using it for a few months now and overall very Impressed. The Cut out feature could be a little more detailed, especially when it comes to recognising reflections in mirror images or on water. I like the seasonal updates of theme options that make marketing shot cleanups pretty smooth. Though there seems to be currently a glitch in the app I hope will be attended to soon. The app has been shutting down when moving from cut out to edit for most of today.

A friend recommended and I thought oh yeah sure, another photo app, are you kidding me ?!?! I think if I hadn’t had a recommendation there’s no way I would have downloaded it. Game changer. Excellent app with loads of capabilities. I use this to style items for sale on Marketplace and Gumtree. It also adds a professional touch to social media posts for our local sporting club. Caution: I decided to upgrade to the Pro version and have been billed for it, but for some reason I cannot access it and I cannot work out how to contact the app creator. If you are reading this, please get in contact.

Works well but subscription adds up. It’s always sad to see such great apps go the way of the subscription model, it’s just too much when you already have a few apps on top of the other bills coming in. Then some charge an extortion to be able to own it outright. I vote for these these with my wallet, ie I don’t buy into it. I had enough of that malarkey with a well known photo editing company However, the app works really well, if you have the cash and want to save some time cutting people from their backgrounds then this is a great bit of software. Or, use the money saved and get some lessons on doing it yourself with the many photo editors out there. Edit: The devs response that the paid version allows a higher quality (read normal) output and the removal of their logo shows how crippled the free version is and why you’re forced to pay if you want anything decent to come out of the app. If there was a reasonable priced pay to own option it would be ok. To be honest, I wish apple would make all apps show the subscription model and price up front on the store so the buyer can decide to download in the first instance. I’ve read countless reports of people being sucked in with 3 day trials and their money taken. Subscription is killing this industry, just as Adobe is losing favour with many from it. Again, vote with your wallet. Thanks

Feels like a Scam…. I tried the free trial thinking I’d be billed monthly, since it stated how much per month… and could cancel if I didn’t want it. Then my card was charged 90$! So now I have a “subscription” for a year but there are BARELY any pro features and literally the only thing the app does is change the background with a very limited selection. Not impressed and definitely not worth NINTEY DOLLARS. I want the money back.

Useful, fun + easy to use. I’m using it to create consistent backgrounds for my small business’ e-commerce site and the “batch” mode is really helpful for this. I also put a photo of my dog and I on different backgrounds for fun lol. Also easy to use.

AMAAAZING!. Such a High Value app even for just the free version! 👏🏽🙌🏽😍🤩 Erasing/Cutting images out for a YouTube thumbnail used to take forever. You’d just go around your subject, hoping you wouldn’t mess up, and especially if it was an intricate image, it’s tedious enough already. But if you did mess up it’ll take minutes to even just redo a spot.😭🔫 I love this app saves me time, and it’s quite accurate with the A.I. background eraser. 🤩🤩🤩

Charged for a subscription out of nowhere?!. UPDATE: if I could change it to zero stars I would. Customer service offered no solutions, and Apple also claims it is not responsible to provide a refund. What a colossal waste of money and time. This is insane - I was charged $60 for a subscription that I never signed up for. I want to be reimbursed - the app is not worth that insane annual rate even if I did want to pay for it.

Amazing !!!. This thing is amazing ! No more sending hours setting up for a photo shoot. Just take a photo and select a new background… I LOVE IT ! Well worth the money .

Error. I used this app before and it was awesome how the new update made everything difficult i can’t edit the pics tried a lot even re installing but didn’t work can’t up load pic now and the app crashes and becomes a black screen very disappointed now

not working at all, save option disappeared. i pay for a monthly subscription. For the past month the remove background is not working , it just says check your connection when i am connected without issue everywhere else. Then, if it does remove it, the save to files option is no longer there. can't save at all, no place anywhere. it has been going from bad to worse. Cancelled now, too bad as thought it was great at first

Not working properly. Images are not shown while editing. You only see blue and white boxes. When the image is saved you see the edit. This is prob. A bug that needs to be fixed.

paid app behind a free label. the feature the app does it really cool but i feel like what they do is pretty much a scam. the app is free in the app store but when you install they give you 3 days free and ask you to pay for a subscription after that. if you want to charge, create a pro version or make it paid straight in the app store. making me download and install it to discover it’s paid makes me feel scammed.

Access to all my photos???. I like the idea of this app supposedly removing the back grounds in 3 secs but I don’t like the set up. The app asks to have access to all my photos and does not give me the option to share only certain ones. No! I will not allow you to have access to all my photos right off the hop! Deleting the app right away.

This app is amazing!!. I own a small party supply business. I wanted to have my items looking more professional but I didn’t haha the budget for a professional photographer. I upgraded to the PRO edition of this app - well worth it!!!!!

This app took my business images to another level. This app is freaky amazing. It removes the background from everything I’ve edited so far. It even gets those little small spaces. I use it for my clothes that I sell and when I tell you it takes the clarity of the items to a whole other level, I’m not kidding. Love this app so much seriously. I am amazed !!!! Super super Easy & Professional. I just started and have only done about 20 images! I am amazed at how fast and easy this app literally is! Washed out & fuzzy photos. I got this app after having a bad (almost identical) experience with the Pixelcut App. It does the background change really well, but once you enlarge the photo, the color is completely different, and the quality of the image is poor…it looks “fuzzy”…I’ve tried it with camera photos, phone photos, I’ve tried everything. Super bummed because I’m really needing something to have my photos looking better. It might work for larger items or landscape photos from a distance, but from my experience, it’s not good for jewelry items.

Love the free version of it. Thank you lots for making the free version of it so accessible, been using it for my clothes page on Instagram and it has worked well. I also include the watermark in the posts because it makes it look pretty unique Will plan on switching to paid version in the future if there are updates where the free version I get rn turns into premium only

Love it!. This app rocks!!! So much easier to use than the other apps I’ve tried and still couldn’t get the results I wanted. The AI technology is pretty spot on with the background erase tool! A huge plus in my book since I don’t have the time or patience to learn graphic design programs. I’m so glad I took the YouTubers recommendations. Thank you for making this app simple to use for people like me that are complete dummies when it comes to photo editing:)

Just neeeds an iPad App. One of the easiest photo cut out apps to use by far. The auto cut usually does pretty good, but if there are some details missing you can get them by using the manual cut of the HD cut (requires the pro version of the app). The monthly subscription price is a little steep if you are only going to be using it a few times a month. Biggest issue is there isn’t an iPad app. Photo Room would be fantastic to use the Apple Pencil with. Dev - is there an iPad app in the works?

Wow this is so cool!. I was looking for a nice app to change the background on my photos and then I found this! I found amazing backgrounds for my photos, and even if you don’t buy the premium version it still has great templates! There are different background shapes and looks(It makes more sense when you get it) and you can do all kind of your photos! My only advice for this app is to add in more fonts for the text on your photos. Thanks!

Amazing App!!. I absolutely love this app!! It’s so much fun to see everything you can do with your pictures you’ve taken. I Have No More Photo Editing Issues. I can’t believe I used to edit photos without PhotoRoom. The app has made such an impact on how my photos look and how people interpret them. I would definitely recommend PhotoRoom to any phone photographer that needs an upgrade. The only problem I have with PhotoRoom is that sometimes, not always, PhotoRoom will also include another random object that the original photo focused in on. I know you can remove those kind of things but it’s painstaking to do.

Perfect but a little expensive. I got this app so I could easily cut out white backgrounds from objects. Does it perfectly. I didn’t expect it to do so well as every other attempt I’ve made with other apps generally don’t work well but this did so well. I’m not sure if it might have more issues in other situations but I can say it is perfect when cutting out a white background. It’s a big expensive for me personally unfortunately but I guess it deserves that for the quality.

One Terrible Feature…. The app works great at removing backgrounds but they have the most awful feature where after 250 exports in a month, they put a logo ALL OVER the photo, rendering the app useless. Not everyone who uses the app frequently can afford an $80 pro subscription or even a $10 monthly subscription. I’ve used free versions of several apps and have never seen something like this implemented. There are other ways to create revenue from a free version (like enabling ads) instead of begging and almost forcing people into paying for the pro version. Very tacky!!!

Easy to use. I have the free version, and so far it’s working well for me. I’ve used other cutting tools, and this is so much easier. I don’t really mind the watermark on the free version, and since I’m just looking to get rid of some stuff, I don’t need the other features. I can see where batch feature would come in handy for a business owner. I do wish it gave me an obvious warning before attempting to batch that it’s a pro feature, but instead it let me upload a batch that I can’t access. Not sure, but I think this process zeroed out my phone battery in minutes. Otherwise, so far so good.

Pretty amazing. I will say I’m only a few days into trial and I’m very impressed…I never knew there was a app that could make my pics look so professional and polished. I haven’t gotten the hang of it completely but already I’m extreemly pleased with my product pics and I imagine anything you wanted to work with on here you could achieve with beauty. You will love it prob background eraser /picture edit /type of app their is on App Store. I’m really enjoying and am considering paying for pro. Which I never do. It’s that good

Blew me away. Okay so first off I’m always for that trial then cancel with these editing apps lol but seriously this one blew my mind, from the automatic background remover saving so much time since I’m a graphic designer some pics are just a challenge but not with this app, they also have so many backgrounds and pre made layouts also saving lots of time, perfect for product advertising to boost them sales! I could go on and on needless to say I will be becoming a pro member after my trial!

I ❤️ This App!. Not sure what everyone is complaining about. I haven’t even started the free trial & was able already do 5 pix removing the backgrounds & w TONS of background replacements that aren’t Pro! And I got to select a TON of favorite fonts — none marked Pro. I’m going to keep playing w it but so far it looks like a winner & keeper. I may even go Pro! Only thing I’d add (and it may be in the Pro version), is a way to remove extra people. But it takes out backgrounds (even on B&W pix), I’d say 90% perfectly. Very intuitive. I’ve been using PhotoShop since 1990, so maybe it’s because I’m a pro graphics software user but I find this app to be excellent & to do just what it says it does. FYI, I’ve tried other apps like this & they just can’t compare. Wish you had a desktop version!

AI generated backdrops. Overall this app is pretty great. especially if you are using casually. However if you want to use it to make polished and beautiful images say for selling your handmade goods, this may not be the one. All of the backdrops are clearly AI generated. This means if you look closely (such as full size image, rather than thumbnail) you're going to see the weird stuff that AI generated images always have. Something is always 'off' about it. For this reason I don't think I'll be using the pro features for my product images.

Batch mode: Where is my saved folder?. I have a saved folder of my favorite backgrounds but when I run a batch mode, sometimes that folder shows up so I can choose which background I want but most of the time it is not there. The only folder that is showing up is my recently used, which now will only save three maximum. Every once in a while after running a batch mode, I will see my favorite folder there but the majority of time it doesn’t show up which then makes me scroll all the way through to find the background I want. Is this some sort of a bug or am I missing something?

Perfect until upgrade. This app worked perfect for listing items online for sale, edit multiple photos by doing the first one then every other one would follow that pattern. No it tries to edit them all at once, it starts with white background automatically instead of letting you pick one for the batch so you have to adjust it and anything over 40 photos it crashes. Batch is not quicker by any means, it was a lot quicker and easier in previous versions. Major pain now. Plus o don’t see any options for “use previous settings”. So disappointed…

FINALLY. I have been looking for an app that would easily and intuitively remove backgrounds. I have an iPhone 12 Pro and figured the LiDAR sensor was beyond the capabilities of current photo editing apps. PhotoRoom proved me wrong. This is THE best app I have found for removing backgrounds. It’s easy and very intuitive in cutting out only the items you want. I used the regular version for a few days and then upgraded to PRO. Totally worth it, I ended up deleting a number of apps that were subpar. Thanks, creators of PhotoRoom!

💜Love, Love, Love💜. I have tried so many different Photoshop type apps and have been sorely disappointed. This is the first app I have found that makes editing photos extremely simple. I am 43 and I sell my own products on Etsy. Being older sometimes abs can be harder to navigate this one was extremely easy to use with lots of free beautiful templates to choose from. I highly recommend.

Good app but there are bugs. I use the app everyday to remove the background for my e-commerce business. I’ve recently done a few large batches of background removal 150 plus images at a time. The process was fairly easy except that images sometimes get resized and I have to resize and align instead of just clicking onto the next picture. Also the photos saved all out of order which is costing me a lot of time. Please fix this!

Decent. I use this app all day every day for work. Literally. I swear by this app and absolutely love it. Until they updated their app and changed a few things. And now I want to scream at the phone every day. I have never been so frustrated in my life. It’s the “Refine Edges” selection. It was so easy to use and I could edit any image within seconds. Now, with the most frustrating update, it’s a whole new process and I HATE it. I have to retake each picture now instead of editing it, because the new method is so aggravating and hard to use. Please change it back. Or give us the option of which method we want to Refine the edges with.

Makes my life better. I spend a lot of time cropping and processing my photos to share on social social media and my website. PhotoRoom makes this whole process a whole lot easier, plus I can put my name on my photos as well. PhotoRoom makes everything so easy, and it wasn’t long before I decided to go pro. Now it’s even easier and I have so many more options for backgrounds. I am a fan!

Revert image back to original. This app is great. Would get 5 stars if one thing was fixed: when editing up close images, for example a clothing tag, it automatically thinks you want to remove anything around the tag. You have to select, highlight the area, and even then it doesn’t revert the image back to the original. I need images in order, there should be a button that just skips any editing and keeps that image in order with rest of the photos when editing batches.

Amazing!. This app is one of my go-to apps now. I’m very selective on photo apps because they need to do what I need and do it well. This app goes above and beyond. Even with just the free version, I’m able to add these amazing backgrounds for anything I’m selling. I wish I had an Apple Pencil for my phone to do some fine markings, but apple isn’t there yet! I just love how quick and easy it is to use. It’s my top two of all 4 pages of apps!

So good, so quick. The background removal is instant and seamless! I spend way too much time putting my vacuum cleaner I want to sell in space with all the fancy options available. I always end up going with a blurred background because some of these settings make my picture look too good, like I’m using stock photography. A fantastic little free app that does exactly what it promises and more with 2 clicks of a button. Amazing.

This program is easy to use, even for me. I have a small business and I truly don’t understand how to do the computer stuff 😩. I have tried 3 other photo programs and I simply couldn’t figure them out. Then I tried this one and I’m so impressed! I’m able to take a simple photo and make it into a beautiful layout for my online business. I 100% recommend this program for anyone.

Perfect for online selling. This app is so easy to use. Makes editing out surrounding objects super easy. Perfect for someone who doesn’t have the tools or the space for a full set up. I can take photos in a cluttered space or on the floor and no one would ever know because it takes out the background so seamlessly with most photos. And for those that it misses a spot here and there, it’s not too difficult to correct manually.

Amazing FREE background removal. It has a lot of features that I don’t need so the free version works for me. Only draw back is the logo but it’s a fair trade for free. It does take quite a few steps to go from snapping the picture to choosing the format/background and then save to camera roll. I’d like to be able to move the eBay background option closer to the top so I don’t have to scroll looking for it - those extra seconds make a difference.

I swear you’ll love this app. This app is so freakin handy! I love it. I sell on eBay and let me tell you it’s tricky to get your pictures just the right way with no crazy stuff in the background. It’s a headache. But with this app it’s not. I just take a picture and open the app select the pic and it immediately gets rid of the background to any color I chose or whatever background I want. It’s very helpful not time consuming like my picture editing used to be. I love it

Glitch in the Pro Subscription. I have Pro membership but every time I try to access a Pro feature I get the pop up screen for purchasing the Pro subscription. And I can’t purchase it because it says I already have the subscription. It’s a glitch loop. I can’t get in contact with anyone who can help me resolve this problem. Improved Cutout This Year!. I’ve had Photoroom for over a year. Last year, the cutout function was good, but I had to spend at least 30 mins fine-tuning the edges of each shot. Whoever updated the app this year deserves a raise! Now the cutout immediately catches all the nooks and crannies, saving me SO much time. I know the subscription is steep, but if you have a lot of products to edit, this is more than worth the plunge.

This app is truly amazing.. Its integration with whatever AI server it uses is seamless. It generates multiple versions in seconds. Lets you resize and modify etc. Highly recommended. I wish AI would let you input how large the subject item is so that it would look the proper size compared to other AI generated things. I also wish it was easier to go back yo the prompts once you generate an image to add delete something instead it seems like you have to start over. Anyhow, highly recommended. Best app I purchased in a long long time.

Misleading billing. I really like this app and I’ve been a long time user, but these days it seems like the only way to get customer support to actually help you is by writing a negative review. I recently decided to resubscribe to the app and selected an option that literally said “billed monthly.” See to me, billed monthly means every month you are billed. To them, billed monthly means we are going to charge you the entire total for the whole year. Apple is refusing to refund me and saying I have to contact the vendor. I contacted PhotoRoom support and they said I have to contact apple. Total Diffusion of responsibility. No help. To be honest it feels like a bit of a scam. Anyways, I appreciate the help PhotoRoom.

THE VERY BEST!. I don’t know how I have missed this app but thank goodness I found it. I needed a background remover and have or had 3 different ones to get backgrounds removed without wrecking the image. With this app it is so very easy and looks amazing. There are so many other features I haven’t even tried yet but I am sure they are equally amazing. If you don’t have this app get it it will make your life so much easier.

Slow. Idk what happened but I’ve been using this app, the pro version I pay for, and it has been slow and glitchy. I’ve been using this professionally for my online business for almost 2 years. I’m getting frustrated with this and about ready to find another app. The past couple months it has caused me nothing but problems. It keeps losing my saved fonts and only displaying recommended ones. I’ve had to go and re-save( I know that’s not a word but I’m using it anyways) fonts multiple times. That is really time consuming. I’ll be in the middle of using this app and it’ll disconnect and I end up losing my work. I’ve tried everything to try to rule out whether it’s the app or something else. My internet connection is fine, my devices are fine and everything current on software/app updates. It does this on my phone, iPad and laptop. It takes me twice as much work than it use too. The whole idea of the subscription is to save me valuable time and lately it has not. If this continues for the next week I’m finding another app.

*Crying with JOY* Finally an eraser app that works!. Been using Magic Eraser for years which is SO time consuming and annoying that often I don’t even bother, especially with clear crystal photographs. Can NOT believe how easy and accurate this is! Immediately paid the 9.99/month for this incredible business tool, and now sitting back and watching the scanner do all the work for me! Thank you thank you thank you for making this app!

Not able to access PRO features after paying. I paid for the Pro subscription in May, the app worked great on my iPhone until I tried to install it on my iPad which logged me out and after logging back in with my Apple ID I did not have the Pro features anymore. The customer service team is nice but unfortunately incompetent since they haven’t been able to help me and it’s been now three days. The charge appears on my credit card which I will be disputing if I don’t hear back from PhotoRoom by the end of the day today June 16th, 2022. This has been a very frustrating experience and the escalation team has yet to reach out.

Great when it works. This App is very frustrating! I choose a photo, it works perfectly! I choose a second photo, it takes forever to scan, and I get a connection error message. I have to close out of the App and go back in to choose the same photo. Works perfectly…try a second photo, same thing, takes forever to scan, gives an error message, I close out again and so on…over and over! 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️ If it wasn’t for the fact, this is the only app I’ve found to clean up my pictures for Poshmark, I would’ve given up a long time ago.

Perfect White Background Everytime. I’ve been a veteran eBay seller for many years and have recently struggled trying to get he perfect white background I’ve tried expensive cameras high end light boxes you name it. To my surprise this app has completely eliminated the need for the professional photography equipment. I opted for the yearly subscription which breaks down to a few bucks a month and take photos with my 11 pro max that look absolutely stunning! This app is a game changer and best of all its extremely easy to use and navigate!

Wow. Ok, so I used this app a couple years ago and it was ok, there were still some things at that point that needed help so I sort of drifted away from using it towards other options. Recently I picked it back up to do a couple projects and wow, kudos to the team for not only fixing the things that had previously frustrated me but improving a ton of things making it even easier and faster to use and end up with a beautiful result! Will be upgrading to pro soon.

THIS IS THE GREATEST PHOTO APP!. I’ve tried several different photo apps. This app has amaze me. It’s well worth the money and I can use it for so many different things. I still am learning more about everything it can do but so far from what I already have done I will give it an A+++. Thank you for finally making an app that actually does what it says it can do. Keeps crashing asking me to sign up WHEN I ALREADY HAVE SN ACCOUNT. Loved this app up until yesterday when it has literally been rendered useless. I have a pro account which I pay for monthly but every time I try to do a batch upload and manually edit my photos, I am getting promoted to “sign up for pro account” which I already have! When I click on free trial the screen freezes and I have to delete the entire app and start over (still is not functioning how it should even after a delete and reinstall).This is EXTREMELY annoying and I can’t find a phone number to talk to anyone. PLEASE look into a fix for this.

Helpful app, worth getting!. First of all, the service with this app is top notch. I have “messaged” the team and the response is immediate. Life changing. So I've always HATED how my product photos would come out and I offer so many different items of different sizes so a light box has never been an option and I saw a commercial on Tiktok for this app and I'm obsessed!!! I upgraded to the PRO version and I'm so happy I did! Now when im getting ready to launch a new website all my photos will look the same and be sooo amazing! Plus it's great to use some of the bonus features and backgrounds to make Instagram photos too! I will forever share this app with my followers!!!

I always get “how did u make that?” when I show ppl pics I made on this app. This app is so easy to use and it makes the coolest profile pictures! I wish it was a little bit less expensive or else I would buy it. Definitely sign up for the three day free trial. I can’t say enough about how great this app is. I mention price because I think most photo apps are too pricey. They should be $30/year OR $60 and you can use it forever.

Overall it’s good, not sure if I’ll keep pro. Like I said, it’s pretty good, and I was really impressed at first, but now I feel like it’s missing key tools or features that I’d like to see, such as the ability to fine tune rotate an object (or auto straighten), the ability to see an overlay of the previous item/image (so sizing is consistent), the ability to hide an object from the scene without deleting it, more/custom fonts, auto color correct and auto shadow (or shadow presets). There’s also an issue with outlining text (turns into zebra looking pattern unless you change font and then change it back)

High Quality App!. There are so many apps (across all different categories) in the app store that are true junk, but this one is a refreshing exception! It does what it’s supposed to do, without glitches, 99% of the time. Their customer service is top-notch also. If you message them through the app with questions, they get back to you ASAP with an answer. Right now, I am using the free version, but when I have the extra cash in my budget one day, I will probably become a subscriber. Keep up the great work, PhotoRoom!

The easiest background removal plus so many features. I love this PhotoRoom❤️ This app provides the easiest background removal tool I have found without having to pay for upgrades. I love that it offers a huge variety of stock backgrounds in the free version as well as the ability to use your own pictures as backgrounds.
