Love getting news as it happens. I like feeling up to date with what’s happening.

Morning Family. I enjoy the mix of well reported local/national news and the comradely among the DayBreak personalities. I understand why WVEC has been the nearly perpetual recipient of the Murrow Award, the best is always rewarded.

New website. You’re new website is not good. There are too many pop ups and ads that block the news and menu items. I have sporadically been able to vote in daily polls. I liked your old site 100 times better!!!!

Too Busy. The new app is way to busy and difficult to find news stories. They seem more concerned about getting an advertisement out instead of the news.

Best in the area. I always turn to channel 13 news! No sensationalism just good journalism and facts!

Thank You!. You always keep me informed.

Get it!. Weather and news whenever you want it!

Terrible. Was using this app, for a long time. However, for some unknown reason, it will no longer work on my iPad. Works great on the iPhone.

13 ABC News. 13 News is my go to app for all things news. They update their app constantly to deliver accurate news and breaking news. Their weather section is also very accurate, the best forecasters in our area. Finally, their app is very easy to navigate and use.

13newsnow. The breaking news alerts and updates keeps me motivated and interested in reading the posted articles! I’m always interested in the weather alerts!

Disappointed. At the age of 78, I will never understand why good things change. Do people get paid for this unnecessary confusion? I am glad that there are alternative sources for news

Ad videos. I’d loved to see the video ads taken off your videos. I’m not interested ad videos in your news videos when I pull up to watch weather videos or updates on the Coronaviruss . I’m sure I’m not the only one that finds it very annoying having to watch one of them before I can watch the videos that are posted by channel. Ad videos neeed to go.

Review. Channel 13 has always been #1 in my book for news and weather. Thank you Channel 13 for keeping us informed.

Ugh. Ugh! I was a big fan of the old app, but can’t find jack on this one. Time to explore other stations’ apps. Channel 13 is my favorite news channel, but not this app.

Reporting content. In comparison to other local news source, 13 News seem to cover more reports featured on their user friendly app.

Not Happy With Changes. What happened to the user friendly app that this is replacing. I could easily find traffic and weather. Now I have to search for them each time I need them. I personally liked the old traffic map rather than using Waze. I like the quick view of I64 when we get ready to travel. Think this app needs more work.

More work needed.. Change is usually good but the newest WVEC app revision wasn’t for the best. Seems like everything is all over the place and less organized now. I used to be able to quickly navigate to the traffic map (which is now completely different and doesn’t have the quick access jam cams). These changes have me deleting the app and finding a new traffic conditions and news source.

Rating 13 news. It’s the only news station I watch

13 News Now. It allows me to get the latest updates on weather and current events while I am unable to watch on the TV.

It’s home.. They provide the best up to date information in our area.

Why I watch WVEC. The friendliest and uplifting group to wake up to each day. They are informative and non bias. It starts my day off in a good mood. We grew up in Tidewater but now reside in Hertford, NC and it’s good to see familiar faces and places. Judy Owens

Deleted the new app. I just deleted the entire News app. It is difficult to use and Frustrating....totally not user friendly. I tried to return to the old app but it won’t let me. Why make a change when everything was working fine?

Use it all the time. Wish you would add vaccine tracking like channel3. I love your weather. It is the best!

My favorite local news. Gives us the facts of local & National news & always guides us through the storms. Thank you for your honest reporting.

Best info. I love my 13 News app because it keeps me informed, it’s easy to use and I can check the weather any time I need too. I’m a huge Jeff Lawson fan❤️

All stars. In my house, when “turn on the TV, I want to watch the news” is stated, all know that the only news team we watch is WVEC. I like checking the app to confirm what others are telling me is “news.” Keep up the great work!

Mrs. B-Mamie Homes. Thank God foe the 13News app! Now that sports are back on, my husband hogs the family tv 24hrs and I often miss the live airings. With the app, I can grab a cup of coffee and quietly watch it on my phone without interruption.

Extraordinary coverage. I’m grateful to get my healthy dosage of quality factual information.

Horrible. What a horrible new change of the old app. Where is the traffic map I could quickly go to to check for the obstructions on the way to work? I tap on there traffic at all I get our video news stories of what’s going on, not the traffic blockages that I need to know. The weather portion doesn’t give me a quick review of what’s going to happen today which is what I need to know as I go out the door. I’m deleting this app it’s horrible

My primary local news source. Thanks for bringing it every day WVEC! The only local news I regularly consume.

Wouldn’t watch any other!. 13 Local news and weather is the greatest. So is ABC with David.👍

Still needs work. Anytime I get a notification, when I click on it, the app will open and display a page saying I’m not connected to the internet (when I am) and the refresh button does nothing...

Where did it go?. I agree with the other user. This version is NOT user friendly. You have to go through so much junk to find traffic weather and, heaven forbid, you are trying to find the opinion poll. Better luck next time cause this time you missed the ball.

Confusing. It seems harder to navigate than the last app but it looks great.

Love ❤️ 13 news now. This’s the only news channel that I watch.

Notifications Issue. Have only turned on Severe Weather Alerts for Watches and Warnings, but am receiving all your inane notifications. After the recent tornado, weather alerts are important, but this bug will lead to people turning it off. Also, when watching weather segment on the app, turning the phone to landscape causes video to freeze.

13 News. News when I want to see it!

Difficult to use. The other app was easier to use. This one also comes and goes! Each time I go to it the app wants me to go to the new one despite the fact that I had already done that! Please work out the bugs ASAP.

Nikki Curry. I absolutely love having the 13 News Now App at my disposal. I am a big fan of the news team and the heartfelt stories they broadcast everyday.

Only good for notifications. This is a terrible app. The best thing that works for it are the notifications it sends to my phone with a one line description of what is goi no on. Actually opening the app and navigating it is a nightmare. Ads are the worst! They have to slowly load into every page. You can try to scroll while they load in but you will just end up clicking one while it is still loading, thus sending you to the ad’s page. I love Channel 13 News. But this app should be trashed and remade from scratch.

Not much to it. For local weather this is one of the the best apps I’ve tried. I would give it five stars if was only a weather app. But it’s also a news app. For news it gets one star. Its probably the worst news app I’ve seen.

Great app especially for weather alerts. I’ve been a fan of 13 news now for years and years I’m periodically I do channel surf to other stations and I always come back to 13 news now. This team seems to be more professional and yet friendly. I definitely recommend this station!!

Freezes. App also freezes after about 3 minutes. You have to close it and then reopen constantly

Mostly loud annoying video game ads. I like this station the best but the app is too annoying to use. I get an alert on something then go to the app to find the story. I click the story and there is a video that starts but without sound. I stupidly click the video to get sound only to be redirected to a 30 sec very loud annoying ad for a game. Once that ends the video plays but it is not the news alert but something older related to that topic. So after a few minutes of frustration I still never got to see information from the alert.

New App. I haven’t liked it as well! Almost every time I open the App, it tells me I need to download it. I can’t figure out why it keeps doing this, but it’s aggravating!

Stop Pestering me. I was enjoying your site and Google Analytics or whatever you use would tell you that I visited. But no, you insist on pestering me with a review request so I am giving no stars and a unhappy user review. Additionally your idiot system which was obviously designed by your news producers does not know how to identify a user without asking them for an unused nickname.... The more I think about it, the more I think you work for the government.

Terrible from the old app. Not even close to old app. Highly user unfriendly and WAY too many adds and commercials which interfere. I’ve erased it.

Commercials. To many commercials trying to watch news and weather not commercials

Da hell happened?. Took something great and threw it out the window. Why?

Hate it. Why mess with a good thing, wouldn’t load and couldn’t find basic traffic info

Get your news some we’re else. They are a one side news channel not worth it other sources with more credibility

Not as good. No where near as good as the old app. This new app feels like a child designed it.

New but not better. Junk! No organization into topic areas. Opening screen is plain annoying.

Election. You should have pictures by the candidate are running for office.

Not so free. If this was a free app then why was I charged a dollar for Apple services. There was no warning. Not good Apple.

Go back to the old app. Hard to scroll through. Too many ads that open as you scroll. Hate the new traffic map. I loved the old one. Go back to the old one. Guess I will be using Wavy 10!

New format stinks. I enjoyed the old format, especially the divisions by city. The new format seems to be more adds and less content. I’m so disappointed. I’m currently switching to wavy hoping to get more news. I’ve had the 13 news app since it’s launch:(
