Don’t hesitate, buy it now!!. I’ve been using the web version of Reddit ever since the app fiasco, but it’s been a pain having to switch to old Reddit manually when a web search takes me there. I found this while looking for something like old Reddit redirect for mobile. Was initially disappointed to have to pay for something so simple, but once I gave in and did I realized that this is so so so much more than just a redirect, making the mobile experience significantly better by rearranging and resizing elements to actually be usable!! This makes the website what it should have been all along!!

Works Great!. Would love to still have each subreddit's custom header while "Remove Subreddit Styles" is active, but otherwise, it works as expected!

Saved Reddit. This makes Reddit on mobile usable again without their awful app.

Better than expected. Was using privacy redirect and kept getting “old hat” image issues. Instead of spending time trying to fix it (and likely not getting it knowing me), I spent $3 for this upgrade. Better than expected due to the built in quality of life improvements: zoomed in at the perfect level, skip and forward options, ad removal. Simpler and better than having a dedicated Reddit app for a casual user like myself. Would certainly recommend if you’re looking to use old Reddit through Safari.

Works as advertised. Just had to follow the instructions to make sure the app had permissions in the settings.

Perfect. Any improvements would only be extra love on top.. Absolutely one of my favorite Safari utilities. Apple makes getting to its Setting page unnecessarily laborious, but once you’ve set it up the way you like, you’ll have tons of quality of life improvement on mobile. I would love even more options like hiding votes to reclaim horizontal space, but that would just be extra gravy. Worth it. Go get it. Thank you, creator!

WOW!!. Edit 4/22/24: Not even 2 weeks after my original review, the developer added the feature I requested- and unsurprisingly it works flawlessly! If anyone needs me, I will be singing this app’s praises from the hilltops. Original review 4/10/24 (5 stars): It’s WILD how much this has improved my reddit experience. Does what it says, does it well, and offers a good amount of customization options. I would love to be able to skip back to the top level parent comment as opposed to just the child-level comment’s previous child-level parent; currently it seems like you just have to keep tapping “parent” until you reach the top level comment, although I may be missing something? Regardless, I wholeheartedly recommend this app, it is a freaking godsend!

Not updated. This hasn’t been updated in 6 months and does not work anymore. Don’t buy this thinking you can use it after Apollo’s shutdown.

You are in good hands :). Dev is incredibly fast at fixing bugs. I reported an issue where on specific Reddit posts, the format is off, and he replied back and fixed the bug within a week.

Replacement for Apollo. I am using this extension as a replacement for Apollo and it is working well. It is not a perfect solution but it gets the job done. I just bookmark r/all and put it on my Home Screen to use. It removes all the annoying pop-ups that the mobile web version of Reddit shows. It hides some extra section of the website to make the website more readable on a phone. It adds dark mode. It also remove those fake Reddit post that’s actually ads. I encountered a bug and contacted the developer with the feedback email and got a response right away. This app is worth it and doesn’t cost much for the convenience

Old Reddit layout with dark mode and more. I like the old Reddit layout, but I also wanted dark mode support. This extension provided that and much more. - Converts URLs that don't include the 'old' prefix to the old layout. - Makes navigating comments really easy. - offers some nice mobile options All that and a very responsive dev. I loved it on my iPad, but had an issue on my Mac. Sent the dev and received a reply same-day, including troubleshooting steps which straightened out the problem. Great experience!

Perfection. This extension is a must-have if you loved Apollo and have been searching for the cleanest Reddit browsing experience. Well done!

Amazing extension and even more amazing developer. The easiest way to browse Reddit in safari. The developer is also extremely responsive if you have questions or suggestions.

Better than the official website and app. This is a much better way to use Reddit now that third party apps have been shut down. I’d like to see more tweaks just to make browsing a bit easier to use and look at. Otherwise this is great as it is.

Works for now. Sometimes you wonder to yourself “why someone doesn’t do something eg create a way to format old Reddit to be readable on mobile?” Then you find out it exists! Nice job. The quality of Reddit will not be improved by this app unfortunately, and I question how long they allow old.Reddit to exist, but for a one time fee this is just what I needed for however long we have left.

Just perfect. Does everything I wanted and a bunch I didn't even know I wanted to improve the old Reddit site on mobile. Dark theme, moblie friendly aspect ratio, easier to see comment levels. And a bunch of settings to get it exactly the way you want it. Just perfect. Thanks so much!

reddit never should’ve needed an app. reddit is a basic website that links to other websites. it shouldn’t take forever to load, it should try to force a weird bad UI on you, it shouldn’t be begging you to install its app. this addon fixes all that !

Great extension went missing with update to 17.4. This extension rocks. Somehow it disappeared from my device when I upgraded to iOS 17.4 and I had to go back to my purchase history to remember the name of it and redownload it.

Makes Old Reddit Usable on Mobile. This extension is exactly what I have been looking for when browsing Old Reddit on mobile through Safari. The old layout can be tricky to navigate on smaller screens, but Yesterday for Old Reddit makes it smooth and functional. If you prefer the classic layout and want a better mobile experience, this is a must-have! The dev is also responsive and swift to implementing suggestions. All around great experience so far.

Old reddit shines in safari with this extension. With the loss of Apollo I did quit Reddit for a long time but it has a lot of useful information for nearly any subject. This extension makes Reddit useable reducing the modern UIs attempts to make the website inaccessible via mobile browsers.

Reddit is unusable without this. This extension makes reddit actually usable on ios safari. Without it, it’s one of the most buggy web apps I’ve used.

Makes Reddit usable again. Does exactly what is says, and only requires permission to operate on reddit.com. The updated styling for mobile is a lovely bonus I didn’t even know I needed! The simple tweaks wrap comments so threads can be easily scrolled & read. Now I can browse the web without having to choose between a sub-par mobile experience or being kicked into an app constantly.

Great on iPad. I actually only use this on my iPad because the official app is so bad and the web versions are even worse. This helps make the font size much easier on the eyes and gets rid of a ton of the junk on the site. Highly recommend. The developer is also very responsive.
