RadioApp - A Simple Radio App App Reviews

App is extremely glitchy and must be constantly refreshed. This RadioApp is extremely glitchy. It constantly loses the station and goes “station unavailable” or buffers even when I have 3-4 bars. I have it linked to a car radio and many times I have to stop and force close the app on my phone to play a station at all. It comes through clear when it does but that’s when it works. Also it gave up on the location and only plays PSA ads like Highway safety and adopt a teen ads instead of the radio station’s own ads so you miss out on any local events that are frequently advertised by the station. It’s not just a playlist but the same songs at the exact same time as the real radio station, with different ads thrown in. Previously, it played some local ads for the area I was in like advertising local events in Toronto when I drove there.

This radio app is great !. This radio app is great because it has great music and you can log on a certain channel so you don’t lose it says I’m able to get great music plus follow my favorite baseball team home and away. A must have for the Braves fans everywhere. I’m not sure but I bet all radio app work for all stations so you can keep locking it on your station and your team well almost all the stations and maybe some exceptions I don’t know, but was great for me. That’s why I say thanks too whoever made this App !!

Very good, but why no Chicago radio?. I really appreciate this radio app. I've used it a lot, It's simple and easy. But for some reason, Chicago isn't an option? I moved here and was interested in checking out some of the stations. It's just a little strange that such a large city isn't an option. Still, I really love this app, and you get radio stations from all over the world. Try it out guys! It's great.

Love the details. This is definitely the cleanest looking radio app I’ve seen. Generally, when thinking of radio apps, I think many imagine an app that’s filled with square icons and clutter. Not this app. It’s nothing more than a simple station slider for your local stations. Maybe my favorite thing about it is the fake “buffering” sounds that play when the stream is loading. They really do sound like what an analog tuner would sound like.

Best Radio App, hands down!. This is one of my top 5 favorite apps! Great and reliable. I can't believe it's free and without annoying ads. I particularly love the selection of international radio stations, and the ability to tune into different radio stations that happen to have the same frequency. Super easy to use. Don't change!!

Best Thing to Happen to the App Store!. Just stumbled (literally just downloaded) upon this app after years of very few options for free radio apps. And it is the best thing to happen to the music world since the iPod! The app features a charming tuner that appeals to fans of all things retro like myself, and a simple interface to customize the app to satisfy even the most obscure tastes. Best of all, you can listen to all your favorite stations static-free, even in other states or countries through the app’s list of the planet’s nations with radio stations. And name a country that doesn’t have radio or a spot on this app. Never been more excited about another app than the RadioApp!

Radio Stations Stopped Working. Some years ago playback was smooth across any station I wanted to listen to. I don’t know what changed, but since a few years ago the app almost never works. It just sits at Buffering or Unavailable for all those stations which used to work. I’ll get 10-20 seconds or so of playback between multiple minutes of waiting and annoyingly, most of that playtime seems to come from ads rather than the radio music. In other words, the app is completely useless. I wish it provided more details so I could look into what’s wrong. How about showing the streaming url so I can check if it’s the station or the app that’s broken? An example of a broken station: MAGIC 106.7 in near Boston, MA.

Not worth your time. Unless you want to just listen to repetitive ads over and over, this app is awful. It used to be that it was better than the other radio apps and would allow you to listen to the music on the station you wanted. Now I can’t even get to the music (if it still actually plays the music) because I can’t wade through 12 or more ads. I just shut it off because I can’t stand the second and third time through the same ads. Total waste of time.

One of the best apps I have EVER used!. I am an international studies major studying German and this has become one my best studying tools for international language exposure! Having the world’s radio at my fingertips has given me a feeling of belonging anywhere I want to listen to. The subscription is very economical and highly worth it if you pay for the whole year! I use this app for several hours a day and absolutely adore it!

If possible: add pause and delay for sports sync. I would absolutely LOVE to sync sports radio broadcast to TV broadcast. While I can pause the radio stream, I can’t figure out how to sync to tv. Not sure if you could add a buffer or allow rewind for a few minutes. However, this is the exact app I’ve been looking for. It unifies radio and car play experience. My fear is Apple will integrate it into its own iOS update.

Perfect. I was trying to find an app that didn’t have alot of ads every time I changed a channel or have ads even though I paid for the subscription like Tune-In for an example their app is horrible it don’t work half the time and still had ads even with a paid subscription so I cancelled them QUICK And I FINALLY found this app and I love it!! Even thought they’re still working on adding more channels they have most of the channels that I listen to and that’s a win for me. I’m willing to stick it out with this app as they continue to progress and as far as paying for the premium subscription I wouldn’t mind and it isn’t that much. Thank you Radio App !!

Simple but functional. For those looking for a simple radio app without a cluttered interface and is elegant in its minimalist approach, I would suggest this app. One of my favorite features is the sound effect of a traditional radio tuning as the app establishes a connection. This little detail is not just a quaint nod to the traditional radio but more importantly, acts as a status indicator letting you know the app is connecting. Contrast this with other radio apps that when they stop transmitting, it is difficult to tell wether it is the app that stopped working or if it is the radio station.

Pretty neat app!. This app has a pretty simple interface, with a huge amount of radio stations to enjoy! I like the tuner sound, as it is a replica of the old school radio dial. Even without purchasing in the app, you get a grand selection of stations, with every genre. The only thing I would like to see, is a seek feature, so I can scan stations. Thanks!

Essential for Radio Lovers. Been using it for a day and I must say I love the app! All functions works as expected and payed the lifetime support for multiple countries. And I adore this feature that allows you to listen to radio around the world! But that is where I have a little bone to pick. After I added most of the countries to my radio app. I noticed some lag, and later the app will just crash / not run. Hope this can be fixed. If this can be fixed, this will be a five star application in my book!!!

Decent app to explore stations around the world. Overall, I like this app. I like your plays sound effects whenever you tune, a different stations, kind of like a real radio. I just wish there were more stations available, especially in countries outside of the US! But overall, this is a decent app if you want to explore stations and feel like you’re using a real radio! Kudos to the developers for thinking of something unique.

Want to keep. I like the simplicity of this app and would probably pay the yearly subscription, but every time there’s a commercial break on my stations the stream stops and gives an error stating the connection is not available. I wish to be able to set a station have it play continuously without assistance. Is there a fix for this issue?

Best Station Ever!!! I Never Turn It Off. Everybody on the station is unbelievable and are more helpful than you would ever believe. If you ever have any doubts about putting your trust in Jesus Jesus Christ The Holy Spirit Almighty Lord God or are going through a situation in your life that you have no idea how you can get through or get past or you are just looking for a safe place to go and confess your sins without judgement only LOVE this is it. Radio app. Awesome selection, well thought out and especially a nostalgic visit that is awesome for the holidays, a timeless emotion that seems to be attacked and accused of being an escape from reality. Maybe for the times we are in. We going through a storm that spoiled boring people should wake up to when times are trying people start trying to help one another

Couldnt ask for a better radio app!!. I rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to write this one. Well, while searching for a radio app, I had tried a few others before stumbling upon this one...What I did not like about the other various radio apps was that they seemed too complicataed. As if they were trying too hard. I realized that what I needed/wanted was just a simple player. And I begin immediatley searching for just that!! Found your app and so far have had no issues upon downloading nor finding the stations i needed. Literally the best music app on the store. In an age where phones no longer have FM receivers, alarm clock radios on our nightstands are missing, and an industry that has you convinced you need algorithmically driven “recommendations” spoon fed to you, sometimes there’s nothing better than just scanning through your local radio stations. The music starts, you either like it, or you switch stations. This app scratches my itch for a nostalgic, authentic radio experience that isn’t bloated and is well put together. Amazing for being reminded about bands from your childhood you forgot about, hearing local news, appreciating non profit radio, and pushing you out of your genre comfort zones.

Great. I literally had it for ten seconds and it is amazing I love the Siri feature and the fact that it is so responsive it has fm and am witch I usually don’t listen to am but for football games that I am somewhere else it is perfect it has never taken more than 5 seconds to get rid of the static and if there is one thing I think that you should be able to use dark mode without premium but it’s fine really and besides that nothing is bad great app good work

song ID is so helpful. Great interface, loving this app generally. I especially like the fact that it identifies the song that’s playing and gives you a quick shortcut to save it to your Apple Music library. The one thing I think is lacking is the interface for the CarPlay version of the app. It’s pretty bare bones and I think it could be better.

Love the Radio App. First found this app when I was listening to an Amazing Christian radio station that really impacted my Heart , and my family members heart. While driving in the car . And I thought I really want to listen longer , it would be nice if I can still listen but shut off the car and I found this app. Definitely a Blessing Jesus loves you all !!!! God Bless :)

Needs improved badly if you are going to ask payment for it!. I was all in and set to pay for a whole year. I cancelled the trial. Too many not available stations that I can get easily from Tune In/iHeartRadio or any other app! The idea for the app is incredible! The user interface is awesome! The retro feel is awesome! The not available stations are a deal breaker! I have 0 time as I’m sure is the case with most folks to fumble around to try to fine alternative stations to preset! I would try it again in the future but you have to figure a way to get the non available content fixed. The stations from several major markets come up n/a. It’s just odd that you would ask money for this if it’s seemingly not ready fully to be released to the public.

My Thoughts and Opinions. I’m a fan of this app - it’s easy to use and has pretty consistent connection to your favourite stations. Would definitely recommend this app, especially for someone that likes to listen to music without thinking about what to listen to the entire time.

Awesome. I sleep with this app. There are many others but, I can plug in my Bluetooth speaker and my dogs and I listen to Iowa Public Radio on classical music for our sleep journey. I enjoy that I can also listen to different radio stations in different countries. I, personally, listen to Mexican radio while I’m working. Thank you for this app. Rate 5-Star!!

Great Radio. I was just looking for a simple radio that I could put on my phone so I could listen to public stations. It’s exceeded my expectations, I’ve been listening to public stations from around the world. As a free platform it has everything you need to listen and enjoy radio. Thank you!!

Does not honor purchases. I got this app a long time on my phone, and I I upgraded to the Pro version on my phone. I can steam any radio in the country and even international. However, I tried to download the app on iPad, and it does NOT restore my previous purchase and it wants me to get a whole new subscription. Why???? I have gotten other apps and it has been as simple as clicking the “restore purchases”, but not with this app. I don’t wanna pay $15 a year for something I already paid for long time ago. So disappointed!!!!!!

Need to put back Artist!. I loved this app because it gave me the song and artist when the song was playing. There was an update and now the artist doesn’t appear anymore. This makes me not want to use this app anymore because the song name and artist being listed was what I was specifically looking for in a radio app. I guess I’ll keep searching for other radio apps now. Such a shame.

The App Is Broken. None of the stations are available after trying everything from turning off my data and turning it back on, then deleting and reinstalling the app, nothing has worked and I paid for this subscription. All of my other apps are working fine, and this is a brand new iPhone.

Remember me the Oldies Days (in the good way). I’m only 24 years old, I grown up by the radio before I got an iPod and/or iPhone, we got so lucky to search an song, artist or an genre on our finger tips with no ads or searching an good signal to get an radio station...,but I live this app!! Recommend people who love listening to the radio, to get this RadioApp, because this app is really simple to ALL AGE!!!

Awesome radio app with room to get better. Great service for the most part! However, there’s plenty of room for improvement. For example: Some stations are not available via the app. Sometimes, stations are offline on the app even though they are streaming through other apps or websites. Every now and then my customized settings disappear. All that said, I love the app and use it daily. Thank you!

Great radio app. Makes me feel like I’m really listening to a wonderful Walkman rather than being on the phone you get the real music experience feeling like you could pick up as many faraway stations as possible I will eventually expand past listening to stations from Florida Texas Hawaii and Louisiana

Major improvement in 3years. A lot better UI and works a lot better. Not to mention I didn’t have to pay a whole lot for it and most features are free I would definitely pay a little bit for this app my favorite app now! I recommend it to all!

Worked great for years, now crashes at commercial breaks. Have been using this app with no issues for years. Now, as of late April 2025, once a stream switches to commercial brakes, the app freezes, requiring force close and restart to get streaming to work again. I don’t know if it has to do with iOS upgrade or something lower level, but needs to be fixed ASAP or I will be looking for a different app. That’s too annoying of a bug to manually overcome in daily use. Please fix!

Great radio app. This very app is great and can be very addictive finding radio stations.I really like the analog feel of finding am fm stations up and down the dial. I really feel this app can even become a better app by having a website for subscribers to add and edit radio stations at the database. Also would be great to record radio stations to listen to at another time. In conclusion I would highly recommend this app.

4 1/2 Stars…….Love almost everything. I love almost everything about this app. I also subscribed… for now. After I mentioned that I couldn’t find a search function to quickly find a particular station, the developer kindly sent me a helpful reply: one can swipe down on the app and open a search field, and enter a station name, or frequency and it will go find it. Also, I would like to be able to change country and then scroll all of that country’s stations in this same, simple way. It exists sort of kinda, but it is not a good or convenient way as it functions now. I was told this is in the works and will be added soon. May I also suggest a complete help file explaining all that this app can do and how to do it! Those are my wishes for a considerable improvement. If this gets done, I’ll stick with this app as a paid subscriber AND a full fifth star!

Not happy with. after saving three of my fav stations, it wouldn’t allow more unless i subscribe to 7 day free version and supplying my card numbers. Not happening! Allow to use app period. I am not paying a penny to hear a radio. I have car radios, home radios, portable radios and to pay to have access on a device that cost over a thousand dollars is just insane. Will not happen regardless what is offered with it, which is nothing. Cant take outside for instance to hear while riding a bike or hiking because it REQUIRES INTERNET CONNECTION. Sorry but i cant rate any better than two stars. Looked up several stations in philadelphia and the most popular ones are not even available Good try guys, but this one is a flop.

Good App to have. The free version is great! I think I will invest in pro, if for no other reason than to support this channel of media. I love being able to tune in to current content, live from all over the world. It could be a life saver in an emergency. And meanwhile I’m able to listen to what people in distant places are listening to, talking about and doing. I only wish that more stations would make their content available.

Simple great app. I have the version before they upgraded and the older version is just wonderful! It works. Period. No major frills, nothing to distract you from listening to radio, nothing to pop up and mess it all up. Thank you and please do not make things worse.

Please add static. for local stations that aren’t being occupied, keeping the static that would play in that station would be the best. I have a microphone that connects to radios by finding an empty station on both the mic and radio. I wanted to see if I could connect my mic to a radio app as well but i can’t check because there is no empty stations. If there is no station available on that number you don’t play anything. So please, keep the static of empty stations!! Thank you. If you did that you’d be 5 stars

Doesn’t work at drive-en movie theaters, won’t let me unsubscribe. I wanted to end the free trial as soon as I got it, because originally downloaded it for a movie (our radio is broken). All of the stations were absolutely fine and clear, so I was going to keep it; but when I got to the station we needed to tune into...there was nothing. Not even static, and it actually said ‘’Movie” and then “Station not available.” Now they have my credit card on file and I can’t find a way to unsubscribe, even in my settings. They have no contact information. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS APP unless you are willing to pay afterwards.

I love this App… but it could be so much better. I am a lifetime subscriber. The app is that good. The app offers stations from all over the world but they are listed by country. I might like to listen to music from Nigeria but talk radio — not so much. What if users could search for stations by content: talk, music type / genre / period etc.? This could be an auditory world tour app. What is classical Lao music like? Popular Brazilian? You get the picture. I be users would like to opportunity to apply key words to stations they like.

Terrible - worst radio app I’ve tried.. Apparently this app wants to force you to listen to religious stations. Because that’s all I could seem to tune in to. None of my favorite stations I like to listen to online were available. It couldn’t even find my local stations. I have experimented with a number of free radio apps - some work pretty well but the long video ads are annoying. But this one is the worst. I installed it, played with it, then deleted it. I would rather deal with ads on an app that has stations.

Easy to see retro radio app. I had relied on TuneIn Radio but found the files more difficult to read as the years went by. I discovered RadioApp yesterday. The fonts are easy to read. I enjoy searching for radio stations in in various states. It is easy to add favorites. It is lots of fun to discover new stations. I recognize that this is a newer app so many stations found on TuneIn and other services have not been added yet. I am very patient and will encourage the developer to work with radio providers to continuously add stations. this is the best radio app I have ever found and will continue to enjoy it and watch for New stations. keep up the good work!

By far the best radio app. I am an OG user and currently use the other app (not available for download as of now, RadioApp Pro). I wish I could use this app (mostly for the updates), but all my stations would be erased. A recommendation I would love to see, the ability to add radio stations by URL. Anyway, this is the best radio app for iOS.

No way to search categories. First the things I liked. The UI is pleasing. Very simple and easy to navigate the “dial”. The sound quality was quite good. And that’s about all I liked. The problem with this app is trying to find radio stations that you are not familiar with. I’m in the USA and I was interested in finding news or talk stations in the UK, Russia, Poland and a couple other countries where I understand the language. Sadly there’s no way to do that. You can add UK but then all you can do is use the scan button to go station to station which is ridiculous when there may be hundreds of stations you’d have to go through. Imagine doing that for every country you’d like to listen to. It’s simply impractical. I tried using the search feature by entering “News” and only got one hit for the UK. I tried “Talk” and got a number of results called talkSport. So the short of it is...if you know the radio station call letters or numbers you’ll find what you want. If not...fagettaboutit!!!

Simple and Effective. Just tried opening the app and got beta expired. Checked App Store and it looks like it was never installed. I really like this app when my favorite radio stations actually work. Developer did add the station I requested but it doesn’t always work and I’m not sure why.

Watch where your money goes!. Premium subscription will not prevent local-targeted infomercials in addition t on the regular commercial breaks of the station you choose. The advantage of premium service lays on the number of stations you can save. That’s it! I feel that subscribers are just making the developer richer for being a hub of radio broadcasts that ultimately are completely free. I do not recommend this app.

My radio-obsessed childhood dreams can finally live on with my iPhone - I love this app!. This was an accidental find while searching for apps that stream loungecore & retro beautiful music. I’m so glad I found it! Local stations are available as well as a truckload of cool new stuff from around the world. I haven’t even mentioned the design of the app! It’s beautiful and simple. Feels like you’re using a Braun T1000 or TP1!

No good. The last update make this radio unusable for a few stations , searching for ever for a 693 local Melbourne station, please fix it.

#radio is awesome and cool. Incredible radio app brings all of my favourite radio stations together. It’s so easy to use. The old-school frequency bar lighting up your station and track playing looks so cool in black, white and green. I love this app and push the sound to my HomePod. I don’t often rate apps, but this is one is worth it

If only .... If only it was a no gapped digital HF/VHF band reciever covering say , 100khz - 200mhz and APCO 25 phase 1&2 🤪

The tuner app I am looking for. Not like the radios with stocked stations, you can actually tune this one. Best case scenario, the bad bad virus that rhymes with Korona becomes apocalyptic, you now have a radio tuner to find a rescue team.

Nice App. Struggling to justify $63 (AUD) for premium though, so I’ll stick to the free version. Would be good if there was an alarm feature (starts low volume, gradually getting louder) so it doesn’t wake me up too sudden in the morning - I’d upgrade for that!

Not a real FM tuner!. Be warned- it's made to look like a real FM tuner but it just uses the internet to find stations. Very deceptive. Not recommended.

Local. Why can I not get my local stations

Beautiful, simple, works!. I’ve tried a bunch of radio apps and found them all to have cluttered design and poor usability. This app is minimal but gives you everything you need. Tune the dial, save your favourites, easy! When an app is done as well as this, you don’t need to spend 15 minutes “learning” how to use it, because it just works.

Feature request. Could you add an option to start playing automatically when you open the app?

Spotify Compatible?. easy to use but maybe make it compatible with spotify?

Local radio stations. Doesn’t pick up the local stations which is disappointing it picked up 1 local which is a good station but doesn’t get 92.5 star fm mossman fnq or 102.7 fm star fm cairns

love it. there is a rly cool feature for using earbuds. depending on which ear faces the device, thats where the sound comes from. also works when ur phone is off. amazing!!

Doesn’t work as a FM receiver. Tried to pick up a local station and it Kelly saying that the program was not broadcasting when the person next to me was getting it fine with a little pocket radio

Great App. I’ve had this app before. They are good if you need a big change in your life. Good vibes on every channel it seems!

Alarm feature needs improvement. Great radio app. Probably my favourite. BUT, they need to seriously improve their alarm. The app has to running for alarm to work, and if your phone even falls asleep, or you’re browsing the internet, the alarm becomes an annoying beeper instead of the station you chose. Major flaw. Please fix. This is why I downloaded the app.. for a radio alarm.

Great app. I was able to get my favorite radio stations from the United States. In fact, it is definitely feeling like I am at home. Great app!

radio App. Is a good app However there are several radio stations across the geographic landscape which may use the SAME numeric placement in the global radio waves network - WHY does the app NOT stay locked on a user’s Preferred choice for a specific station?? - OR give the option to set as user’s default choice

Used to be my favourite. But something happened about 2/3 months ago and hasn’t worked properly since. I thought they had fixed it a few weeks ago but says station is unavailable again and just keeps buffering

The best global radio app. Absolutely love this app, if you love radio then this one is great. Feels like I expect a radio to feel. Simple but has all the exact features you need in a modern day app. Big thanks to the people who made it, great job!

Idiotic user interface. Uncertain if it is possible to make finding a radio station harder than this app. Search bar is hidden. You must enable a city before you get any results. Try finding Bloomberg. You should just punch in the search term into the search bar, right? But where is it? Through random chance, you stumble upon search bar. Enter Bloomberg. Nothing shows up. You need to enable a city. So you leave the app, to find the originating city, and go back to app and enable city, reenter search terms. Feels like programmers don’t want you to find your station. Maybe trying to highlight how good premium version is. But based on this, no way I would investigate premium version (or anything else from these programmers)

J’m radio. Très pratique et simple d’utilisation

User interface is not user friendly. The user interface is not user friendly, plus it’s really a expensive subscription… I can not even find some international radio stations found on other radio apps like Simple radio, TuneIn radio or Tuner radio. If you want to make your app subscription based make it worth it, there is no value in return as its now.

Radio. Great work on this project, and to all of you I also thank you. I am analog and use my phone for just that. But will be using this app, and will subscribe when I can. Just having trouble getting 89.1 in my own town Orillia Ontario. It is called Max FM.

Best Radio App I’ve Found. This is such a simple interface. It makes for one of the best and easiest interaction vs other radio apps. Highly recommend. I’ve not purchased the premium yet but may in the future as it offers additional benefits.

Great app, but unfortunately no support. UPDATE Got a response from the developer, and he is looking into the issue. This got the app back to 5 stars This is my favourite radio app, and I would put five stars, but unfortunately there’s no support. My favourite radio station stopped working on this app(it work in the TuneIn Radio), and I’ve sent an email about it to support. Got zero response in three weeks

Good app but too expensive purchase price. Easy-to-use application, ergonomic interface but big marketing error. Price too expensive compared to the free deal. A lifetime price of $6 would have allowed the developer to sell his app to millions of copies.

Been using this for years. I have logged hundreds (literally) of hours using this app while I walk my dog or drive my motorcycle Pros: - It found most of my local radio stations (CBC Radio 2 confuses it) - Can control from iPhone Lock Screen or earbuds controller - Simple interface reduces confusion - Saves having to switch between specific apps for each radio station (my favourite feature of this app) Cons: - Handoff from wifi to cellular can be jarring and occasionally fails - “Station currently unavailable” happens too often - need to change channel then change back to tune back in

Don’t click on this app. I clicked on the 7 day free app and was immediately charged an entire year subscription. I have tried and cannot get my money back and Apple is unwilling to do anything about this. This should be illegal!!!

Used to be excellent. This app used to be excellent but has gone downhill. Quite regularly now I find that stations that were previously available no longer are. Repeated attempts to contact support have gone unanswered. Quite disappointing. Given the lack of station reliability I usually try to find a different way to listen.

Wrong station.. What plays on this app was NOT what was on the actual radio station at the time. Useless for sports.

Always shows station unavailable. It literally just says that the radio station is unavailable. Also very bad quality

Not responding to bug. Hi, I have been using this app for 3 years! Great ! However, there are couples of issues. There is always a channel 91.5 stays in the station list, it won’t be able to removed. I have been send emails through ‘help’ and no responses at all. Recently there is one station not working in my iPhone, but works in iPad. Not sure if that’s related to the recent update. I need to use iPad to listen to that station, I hope the issue can be resolved soon. Overall, I love this app.

Didn’t work for stations in India. I was excited to come across this app and how it worked flawlessly for local stations in US. So I thought of getting the premium so that I could listen to stations from India, but unfortunately it said station unavailable to almost all of them. Not sure if other countries worked fine

At last, an FM radio on my phone. I just wanted to be able to listen to my local public radio station on my phone, without wifi, and this app enables that very well. It does a lot more, I know.

Great app!. Great app! I’ve been looking for a simple FM station app forever. I love that you can change between different stations from different parts of the country. I’ve been going to the drive in movies a lot lately and it’s great that I can just use this app, pop in my ear buds and drown everyone in the car out

Best radio app. This RadioApp works so good. and it worked so well. I like the way that you can search up any state and almost any single radio channel. and it’s free. you can’t rename the channels that you save that’s the only bad thing but still really good app

Earn the last star by. Anytime any sound comes through the app stops, I have an alarm in the morning and when my alarm sounds the app stops and I have to go back in and hit play. So annoying cause then I miss part of the show I’m listening to and since I’m retuning in and an ad then plays cause me to miss a chunk of what they’re talking about

Great app!. Just downloaded it and the didn’t have my station I tapped the options button and was able to request it and moments later I was able to listen to it so far no problems and satisfied with it.

Updates bugs?. I really like this app before the several updates recently it doesn’t lose connection or buffer too much and when i switch off the screen offmy iphone it doesn’t stop the app but now it does.

Look out TuneIn. Been looking for an app that could replace TuneIn and this is it. Yes, some stations aren’t available, but if you look it up some stations have many different frequencies and some of those work. I’m on the free version so far, but may buy the lifetime version.

Clean, simple, effective. I love this app. You have your top five stations a touch away, and it’s easy to find new radio stations in any state or country! The interface is great where you can scrub a tuning dial to get back and forth to find stations.

Station not available. This radio app is the best ever! the only thing that should be fixed is the “station not available” message that appears on certain stations every now and then. Other than that awesome app!

Love this app!!. Been using TuneIn for years now, and haven’t been too happy with the changes they’ve made since. But I found this app today and so far I’m loving it. Simple and easy to use!! And all the stations I listen to on a regular basis are working great on here. Love it!!!

From the car to the house. I love this app, very simple. I don’t have to sit in the car to finish listening to my favorite songs or news stories, I just switch to my phone and keep on moving.

Almost ready for prime time. Difficult, non-intuitive interface. Specifically lacks a search function for stations in a given region, be it a State in the US or a small country. If it had an easier interface and a means to search out stations in different regions with descriptions of the station that would be great

Very good app. I love listening to the radio because it gives you random selection of songs,So I wanted to download this app and when I say this is a very good app I really mean it I was a little disappointed that it didn’t have one of my favorite stations 99.1 KGGI but hopefully we get it soon. Beware - don’t buy annual. Don’t buy annual as the developer may remove app from store at any moment and upload an app with new name. My RadioApp Pro was removed from phone, and so the developer may do with this new app to offer you another subscription. If it would be not a will to charge Pro users - you could simple set a price for Pro version $99 and then offer existing Pro users to move to new app subscription, but deleting app for existing paid users by removing from store is a bad move

Better than other radio apps !. Much better than other apps I don’t have to search 30 stations give me local results and tap on the radio station to get more options that use same channel nearby I love it

Streaming is not consistent. It's amazing how many times I listen to a station and moments later it's gone. Sometimes the next day it seems to be available again, but this repeats daily. I really like the app, but when I search for the same stream in other apps, it works normally. If they don't fix this, they shouldn't call it premium anymore.

Changes stations automatically. Picking a station is in my opinion basic functionality and there’s a bug where one of my stations has changed to a different one with the same frequency and there’s nothing I can do about it. I’ve already said this to the developer they have said there’s nothing I can do about it (the solution they suggested lasted me a couple of days) so maybe this will encourage them to fix the app.

Too many commercials. Not cool when you have to listen to 5 minutes of commercials just to listen to a radio station. You also play commercials while DJs are talking or while songs are still playing. If you go between stations, you have to listen to commercials again. Most times the same commercials you just heard. Not worth going premium for FREE radio. If you pay for this app, you’re an idiot.

fewer stations. the app wanted me to pay money and i’m not really sure why. i had the subscription during the first year i had this app, but didn’t renew it because i was receiving FEWER stations with the subscription. too many stations are said to be unavailable whereas at one time they were available.

Finally a good radio app. I’m so happy that this thing actually works because I love listening to 97.5 and 94.1 because I love the eagles. But I could only listen to it in my car. But now I can listen to those channels and more! In short this is the best thing in the world.

RadioApp Review. I love being able to listen to radio stations from all over the world, including FM Onomichi 79.4 (my new favourite radio station of all time), which I am currently listening to as I write this review! This app makes it easy to tune in without having to actually go to Japan!

Could be great. I love the interface, graphics, and the fact that every song title and artist get displayed clearly. Unfortunately, at least every few minutes the station playing needs to rebuffer, and continues to do so until I hit pause then play again. I’m holding out hope this can be corrected in the next update.

Great Radio App. I had been looking for a stand alone internet ready radio, but they are not inexpensive. However, I came across this app and I am extremely pleased with it. The radio station selection is not huge, but the radio stations it does carry fulfill my music fix desire.

Outdated stations status. Love being able to get clear reception on stations with otherwise weak antenna signals but find many of the stations on this app are outdated and no longer reflect current programming format changes. I haven’t been able to correct and update modifications through this app.

Me love the radio. Ok I'm a radio person and i love this app! I can do other things on my phone while still listening to the radio! My boom box does not let me use the certain radio station i love because it needs an antenna. I have to use Bluetooth to use the radio app lol

Awesome radio app. I enjoy this app very much. I can go practically to any station that I want at any time. It’s very easy. I really didn’t know there were so many radio stations out there. This makes it so much easier to find them. Thank you.

Simple radio. Most of the time other radio apps want you to pay to listen to radio. This app is mostly free, there are some things that aren’t though. I really love this app and even if it doesn’t work as well as a car radio it is pretty good. Love it!

Unreliable. Froze and eventually crashed upon opening the app for the very first time. The alarm clock feature doesn’t actually play your chosen station unless your device is under very specific circumstances. After playing with the app for a couple of minutes, it crashed, and each time I tried to reopen the app it just crashed again and again, no matter what I did. Deleted.

Signed Up for Premium. Thank you for fixing the Premium signup copy/paste. 👍 It’s a great App, and the Developer has a good Privacy Policy if privacy is important to you. Why would it not be these days? It’s FREE if you want, but their subscription is a great deal with added features and worth it!

It’s okay. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t have the real radio stations from where you actually live it just has radio stations from all around the state you live in and they glitch so you then have to search the name of the radio station that you want to listen to

Wow. To be able to listen to a station from my state from jut about anywhere has been really nice. I can even pick up a smaller local station with this app that Incan not from the radio in my vehicle so I use my phone & this app via Bluetooth & that makes this app for me all the way.

Not working right. I rarely write a review, but needed to address a problem. I paid for the premium subscription, but the app won’t let me add more than 10 favorites. The app keeps telling me I need to have the full version to add more favorites and can’t seem to make it add more even though I have the premium version. Any suggestion on how to fix this problem? I even deleted everything and reinstalled it, but it still won’t work right. Not happy!!

Didn’t actually pick up any local stations. I wanted to use this at the drive inn for an extra audio source. The app didn’t actually play any of my local stations and couldn’t tune in to the transmission at the drive inn. I give it two stars because it did scan the radio for stations, but not actual stations in my area. Yes, my location was turned on in the app.

Nice Radio App. This app works great 75% of the time. Have been having some buffering issues of late. Decent amount of channels, especially world wide. Not as many US stations in larger cities as I would have hoped but I’m guessing that is licensing issues.

Old Country Favorites. Luv. Luv Luv. Can you play more Statler Bros. And what about Charlie Pride. I love the COUNTRY CLASSICS. My cell phone and Car radios are both set on 97.1. Called a friend and that’s all she listens to. Also occasionally turn cell phone to BULL RADIO to see what’s playing but always return to 97.1! 😍💕

Best FM/AM!. the international channels are always clear as day. The save song feature is incredibly useful and the album covers are a delight. It works in the background and drains little battery, a must-have for someone who loves tuning to live broadcasts on IOS.

Can’t Suggest Streams Anonymously. I used to suggest streams for my local stations and is pretty much required if no streams are available for your local stations. I no longer do so because the form to do so now requires you to enter some personal information which is rather suspicious. You should not be required to enter your personal information to suggest a stream for a radio station.

Scam. This is purely a scam. Tried it for Drive-In theater and didn’t work. No easy way to end free trial. Clicked unsubscribe button in my original email and got a bunch of words in paragraph that clearly appears to be a money grab. Developers I know you’re reading this. My name is Lauro Trevino. I’m asking you nicely this one and only time. Please cancel my free trial and subsequent subscription immediately and please accompany it with confirmation email just as quickly as you did when I clicked free trial.

Ma great FM radio app.. I have been looking for an FM radio for months since the previous app I used (NextRadio) has been taken off the App Store. I just now found this app and so far it works well. But a few of the stations where I live (Ohio) are unavailable or have the wrong names that show up in the RDS tags. Fix these issues and it’d be perfect.

Help.. I love this app, but it starts playing on its own all the time. And it’s not even running in the background. It is completely closed. I shut off my iPhone and rebooted it and it just keeps coming on again. Any fix? It’s embarrassing when I’m in a meeting. I part

Simple and works. It’s simple and easy to use and navigate. Some other radio apps have a unnecessarily difficult user interface and it’s weird and this one’s easy and it does exactly what it says it does.

Best radio app ever!. I absolutely love this radio app. I’ve been looking for some radio apps for my phone but didn’t see to have any luck. Until I found this app. Really fantastic app and I HIGHLY recommend downloading this if your bored listening to music videos or whatnot

When it works, very good. Simple, straightforward, which is great. Last few months there are days on end when all I get is “station unavailable” Wish I could get far away stations.

No good at drive in theatres. I downloaded hoping to use at a drive-in theater that broadcasts the movie via fm radio. Even with my region set to the correct area, the app just would not connect to the station I needed. Someone had even saved the station as the name of the theater, but it said ‘station not available’ the entire time the movie played. Even when I went back and manually adjusted to the exact frequency, it played a different station.

Terrible. This app is terrible, it barely offers any local stations but the ones it does offer are very scratchy and will completely stop playing for minutes at a time. It offers a very wide variety of stations around the nation but how does that help me if it doesn’t offer a single local channel. There are plenty of other radio apps that do a much better job and offer stations that I would actually listen too, instead of small stations located 100s of miles away from me
