LOVE it so far but curious to see how it develops.. I absolutely love this app so far. It has such a great and eclectic mix of people (especially POC) from a breadth of backgrounds; the conversations I’ve joined and listened to have been genuinely interesting, at all hours; and I like the range of topics. It’s quickly becoming my favorite social platform — and, yes, it is addictive. But I definitely echo some of the other reviews. It would be great to explore topics I didn’t pre-select during sign-up, just to see what else is out there. Being able to at least ‘react’ to conversations would be nice (even with an emoji to show appreciation). And I wonder how bloated it’s going to feel when it’s completely open (it’s already pretty big but the conversations have been on point and pretty respectful vs. Twitter that just gets crazy).

CLUBHOUSE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE SAFETY OF ITS USERS. It is ASTOUNDING to witness time and again Clubhouse’s BLATANT DISREGARD of the SAFETY of ITS USERS, ESPECIALLY FEMALE USERS. From its inception, this app HAS DONE NOTHING EFFECTIVE to KEEP PREDATORS, MISOGYNISTS, INCELS, NARCISSISTS, PSYCHOPATHS, SOCIOPATHS, RAPISTS, SEX TRAFFICKERS, CON ARTISTS, FRAUDS, BULLIES, STALKERS, RACISTS, and ALL OTHER TYPES OF ABUSIVE, MANIPULATIVE, DECEITFUL, THIEVING, DANGEROUS REPEAT OFFENDERS off the app. NOT A SINGLE EFFECTIVE THING. REPEAT OFFENDERS keep COMING BACK under different names, and literally everyone knows that it’s them. Meanwhile, all Clubhouse hq does is HARD SELL HOUSES. That’s ALL YOU SEE IN THE HALLWAYS NOW. Rooms hard selling houses, trying to rebrand the app after Clubhouse hq completely broke what was once a fun app that actually added value to people’s lives. It is now a wasteland, where the bottom feeders are now competing to be “influencers” and app “icons.” The weekly Clubhouse Town Hall rooms have had zero gender diversity for well over a year. It’s been all dudes awkwardly trying to be funny and clever, with the one token female perched on stage for appearances. Clubhouse, you are NOTHING WITHOUT YOUR VALUABLE USERS. I doubt anyone in your organization leadership is able to see that. Your toxic masculinity is just too firmly embedded in your psyche.

Suggestions. I love the application. It is fantastic, but I find it quite difficult to tell who’s speaking, especially if there are many speakers. I try a few tricks where I scroll and check which mics aren't muted and then try to find the bar that outlines their profile when they speak. Still, I feel like it is not very obvious, so half the time I spent either looking at one picture at a time or listened to the name that is mentioned when they start speaking. I would love if the current speaker would be made more obvious and easier to see quickly. Maybe instantly move them to the top of the list rather than keep them in the position they joined or making the outline more noticeable or a speaker icon next to their name.

Great! Needs a few things!. Additional features I’d appreciate: 1.) I’d love to have an “add to calendar” function to save to an itinerary within the app (kinda like apps for academic conferences) so that I can see the things I’m most interested in listed in a separate place from everything in the “Upcoming for You” tab. If this function was added, I’d prefer to be able to be able to “double-book” in the itinerary if at all possible (e.g. so I can peruse a few rooms during one time slot before settling into the best fit for me and so, if my top choice room finishes first, I can jump over to my second choice before it’s over). 2.) I’d also like a way to “favorite”/prioritize certain users and clubs so I see them at the top of the “Upcoming for You” tab. 3.) I’d love to be able to search for room titles (and maybe descriptions?) using keyword search in the “Explore” tab. 4.) I’d like for club meetings to be linked to their page so if I know somethings happening for one club, but it isn’t scheduled in advance or I haven’t saved it in my itinerary, I can quickly search for the club page and enter the room there.

Love the concept hate the execution. This is a really cool app that I have been on for a little while, I really appreciate the concept of being able to talk to people in different rooms, engage in different types of conversations and really get to know your homebase. That being said this app is extremely buggy, I am not sure what regression is completed when you release updates, but more needs to be done. The app is sticky, and it is becoming such a nuisance that it’s making individuals a little bit more hesitant to join the app. Bugs include, frequent outages. This could entail you being in a room, and the minute that you leave that room the app just spins for large my time. there’s also the server overload red bar that comes up a lot of times when you’re on the app that can also make it hard to use different features inside the app. The latest feature now is that individuals when you attempt to invite them up will not be receiving the invite and they will be given the notice that the user has already been invited up even though they are still in audience

best social platform i’ve ever used. this is quite simply a revolutionary take on social media, and for me personally being in the creative entertainment world it’s been incredibly beneficial to me just being able to network and put a voice to peoples names instead of just seeing a traditional “DM”. i’ve been in rooms with attorneys, other musicians, experienced people all around who are willing to talk and she’s their experiences or even advice to anybody listening. it’s a game changer. i think the invite only aspect should stay though, as the loose-exclusivity makes it a lot more powerful. it’s not like it’s that hard to get invited either, just have to know some people. but again, it’s a game changer for social media in my opinion

Personal talk with participation. I really love the format. They know who I am. It always comes up well on the Internet without hesitation. The speakers are incredible, passionate, and really care about us. They could be making a lot more money monetizing this and some do in some instances. But to put Clubhouse together it’s like the old-fashioned Clubhouse that us kids had were just a cardboard box. We were probably six or seven years old. We played in it we talked we had a password. It was wonderful. This is areiteration recreation of the Clubhouse I love the concept it’s beautiful and interesting and no I never would’ve thought of this. I love it. Thank you so much. This app was good, now it’s become complete garbage!. OK, I have seen some really bad abs in my day. But, this recent version of Clubhouse leaves a lot to be desired. Honestly, I have tried this app even on the computer and found it to not work very well if at all. The changes that were made here really were not necessary at all. The app was working fine until the most recent version that just came out. granted, this app is good or should I say it was good when it first came out. But, with this most recent addition. It isn’t worth the time and efforts to set it up. If you are a voiceover user. You will not be able to create rooms on this thing. The same goes for other functions in the app itself. you may be able to join rooms that are already established. But, that’s about it. The developer of this app really needs to fix their stuff or take it off the App Store. Simple as that!

Chilling effects on critical viewpoints; social media show offs. When you create an account, you are prompted to enter your full first and last name under the auspice that everyone uses their real names on this platform. That is not the case as I discovered upon entering many chat rooms. I saw many users using aliases and fake names. The chats hosted on the app are typically one-sided and highly politically- and socially-charged. So much so that it creates a chilling effect on critical viewpoints. Most of the chat rooms I visited are dominated by social media mavens and influencers trying to expand their social spheres. It’s a bit off-putting. I’ve also found that the majority of chat topics require either a high intellect to discuss, or none at all, and typically devolve into a social issue echo chamber, or some sophomoric banter. I joined the app again to give it another try, but I wanted to leave my opinion based on my first experience.

Always adding useless features and taking away the good ones. This app is so frustrating for so many reasons. Constantly adding new and unnecessary features, changing the entire look and functionality of the app and making things far more complicated than they need to be. Recently they took the feature away that shows when someone gets a phone call which was so stupid and unnecessary! The phone icon was so helpful and made complete sense. And that’s only ONE of many examples. Why is it that we see a whole list of people to ping in a room instead of just pinging someone the way you would always do before. The app is cluttered, it’s flooded with in app notifications that are irrelevant and excessive especially prior to the addition of “houses”. So incredibly buggy that some notifications (within the app) won’t even disappear

Love The Site!! Hate The WiFi Glitch 😒. I practically don’t turn it off, it’s like the 90s party line lol.. It’s great to actually hear voice with knowledge, inspiration, honest help, laughter, and emotions. Not just text and emojis that leave you to your own emotion of interpreting what’s read. I’m glad it’s bringing back communication, something that’s been lost with technology advices. I enjoy that there’s a invite only I hope they keep it that way, and better transparency which keeps away those that hide behind the keyboard. It’s good open dialect. Just what the people need 😊 Only fall back with the app for me..I just hate it consistently ask to find a stronger signal, even when I have full cell bars but not connected to a WiFi.. it’ll play anywhere on my iPad with or without WiFi...but my cell it just doesn’t stay connected unless I’m on WiFi. 😒... For the most part the app is great 👍🏽

Pretty Cool. Clubhouse is a great app, especially considering it’s still in beta mode. I’ve been able to connect with people all over the world! Suggested improvements: 1) It’s very difficult to see who is speaking even with a modest amount of people on stage. I find myself having to ask “Who said that? I can’t find you” a little too often. I suggest making the ring around the speaker a more pronounced color such as green, orange or even black as a great first step. 2) Secondly, I find the notifications super aggressive. Even on the “infrequently” mode, I am still getting notifications back to back about the same room which is distracting when you try to play a game or other app that doesn’t turn off notifications. 3) Finally, it would be nice to have an option to look up a profile and see what room someone is in... Keep up the great work; two thumbs up, way up.

Building Awareness Of Community in the World. What a miraculous experience I have had over the past 28 months (2years 4 months)! I have been wowed by the width, breadth and depth of relationships I have built and continue to build!! I am shocked and disappointed to say that the amount of Rooms that have drama, negativity, foul language and what appears to be a hurtful hatred for humanity and also a hypocritical view that is shocking!!! It is also paralleled by the MIRACULOUS, HEALING, THOUGHTFUL, Thankful, Encouraging and Forward Thinking of a few rooms that inspire and uplift and have created business pathways for transformation and development in the World Future Communities 💜✝️💜 Thank you to the founders and the community that has made this possible with God’s grace 💜✝️💜

very upsetting update and changes. Well I'm going to be real, y'all should have left weel enough alone, I loved creating rooms with friends I can't do that now, the user interface is jumbled up and you can barely make sense out of it, y'all were all about accessability and now y'all just let it fall to the waste side, we had back channels we didn't need chats instead of rooms, it was fine the way it was, and no I'm not a rich person trying to find flaws in every single thing I just call things the way I see them. I'm going to delete my account permanently if this doesn't stop, and it's so sad because I have memories on here, and now they're ruined I can't make anymore because with my screen reader it's so difficult to navigate I'd be better off navigating a bull in a china shop, at least I'll have better success steering it right, this is not good and you need to change this or people like myself will start leaving, and I guarantee you they will not return, like myself, if this is how it's going to be, now the people who don't have disabilities get an upper hand, not fair, at all.

Really Bad update for community…... I loved this app because of the ability to find and explore communities of anything you wanted as a musician that’s great. However yes there was a chance for improvement for them to focus the suggested rooms to topics that I am interested in (music and arts) rather than any room topic anyone I follow was in….. HOWEVER WITH THIS UPDATE ITS AWFUL THEY MADE IT SO BAD they took away the suggested feature of rooms your friends follow completely away!!!!!! And to make matters worse and more annoying when you are trying to look for rooms that are live now GOOD LUCK because they jumble up a bunch of rooms that ALREADY HAPPENED!!! mixed in randomly with live rooms so big FAILURE for user interface. There is NO ORGANIZATION OR WAY TO FILTER THAT STUFF OUT OR ONLY LOOK FOR LIVE ROOMS. The aesthetic is nicer but the functionality and usability of this app is horrible I deleted the app after years with it because of how off base and tiresome navigating this update was. Horrible experience I can’t say enough it’s frustrating, I want to see more rooms that I’d be interested in and instead you take away every single suggested room unless I explicitly follow it….. but how am I supposed to follow it if I don’t even know it exists!!!!!??? And why is it so hard to view and find ONLY the rooms that are LIVE I don’t want to see hundreds of rooms that already happened in the past that I missed…….. install a filter or way to get only LIVE ROOMS

Very clunky with voiceover as a blind user.. When I was first introduced to this app, I found it to be workable with my screen reader. I was able to find rooms to get into and topics to join. However, since they introduced replays, and clubs, and people I might know on clubhouse, it has been an extremely cumbersome user experience for me. I find it near impossible to scroll through all of the recommendations and constantly get stuck on screens I have no desire to get stuck on, such as the aforementioned. I wish there was a way to filter out past replays, people I might know, clubs I'm not interested in in the slightest, and such overblown things. Furthermore, there is no better way than to scroll and hope one gets past all of the sludge in hopes of finding a room where I might talk. As it stands, I find the entire process far more vexing than helpful and have rarely used the app within the past year or so. Given the auditory nature of the app, it would seem to be well-suited to those of us who have no need for video communication. However, the frustration of the interface far outweighs the usefulness of the platform in general. I wish I could put up a better review, but I would rather be honest about my experience than lie and say the thing was great and that I spend all my waking hours on it. Alas, I cannot and what you have here is a review fraught with annoyance and disappointment. What seemed to be an enlightening experience has turned into a painful one.

Terrible Update Last. This has been my go to app for last couple years as it has sessions that allows you to join in and listen on being inspired, encouraged, and educated. However, there was a recent update that totally screwed up the user face. Now when I open the app, it no longer shows me the page where I can see all active chats/rooms. Idk how to navigate not do I want to spend anymore time to figure it out. It may have been removed completely. Facebook, IG, & Snapchat and other social media apps know once users open their apps it takes them to the main user face they’re accustomed to. This is what brings users back. For someone like me who is busy from the time I’m up and in bed, it makes it easy to open up the app and see what rooms are active and click to attend it right away. That convenience is now taken away from me. It’s frustrating. I used to come on nearly every day of the week and now I seldom come on even once a week. Making this review now in hopes you guys return the main screen. I’m not the only person who feels this way. I hope others who have complained on the app will provide feedback as well.

They’re trying to destroy clubhouse. **Update: Just discovered that even if you toggle off all the notification settings, you still get notifications when invited to a new house. And you can only Pause notifications temporarily. Obnoxious. I turned off Notifications for the app in my iPhone settings. Was about to delete it.** The Clubhouse team want this ship to sink. They know how infuriatingly obnoxious the notifications are. Can’t join a house without deep menu diving to turn off notifications? No global setting for turning off these notifications? Can’t set notifications for DMs only? No one actually believes this is a good idea. Just like the “friend bar” at the top of the screen — worst UI of any social media app, makes no sense. The devs got a lot of funding for this app, are probably gonna enjoy paying themselves a nice salary while pretending to be “improving” the app, but actually just want engagement to go down enough that they can justify selling it off and making some exit cash. Either that, or they are an arrogant bunch who had a bright idea that took off — and then they assumed that they are geniuses and are not willing to second guess their own decisions. Too bad. Clubhouse felt cute, might delete later.

Timer. Users should be able to see how long a room has been active because there are more times I enter a room that’s wrapping up than catching it from the start. And if the room creators are only hosting for only so long then it should be timed and they can be given the option to extend the room if that time runs over. It will be able to give users the opportunity to know at what point did they enter the conversation, users will know when it will end so they can plan accordingly, and moderators don’t have to explain as much. Another feature should be planning a schedule of rooms you want to enter in a queue. Give the option to start in one room and when another scheduled room starts it will jump to that one unless the user chooses to stay in the room they’re in longer.

Cultist app filled with fake people. Clubhouse is a toxic culture. When you join, you’ll be amazed that CEO Paul Davison speaks to people. But pay close attention because he doesn’t really. The Sunday townhall ignores users and didn’t even use the app’s features. If you just want to listen, you get pressured into getting on stage. It’s exhausting. Everything is on the users because the staff never listens to anyone but the clubs they like. The leadership and investors built a fantasy cult World where they’re famous even though they’re not outside of it. It’s creepy to watch all the sexism, misogyny, racism, and worse. The CEO tells everyone to do everything themselves and hasn’t updated the app in any meaningful way in over a year. This c-list community is putting out d-list content that’s only getting worse with time. And without recordings, discoverability, soundboard integration, night mode, picture frames, clickable links, and just thousands of other things the community asked for over a year for, it’s pointless. All the clubs are empty, and you’ll never see any of the celebrities you follow online. Try the burnouts and wannabes. That’s all you find on this cult app. Delete Clubhouse.

I’ll love clubhouse. I love clubhouse, it is so amazing! :-) It’s help me build my self-esteem, it’s reconnected me with some old friends and old crushes! :-) Lol my only issue was connecting my Instagram but now I got my Instagram, my other issue is that I cannot add my Twitter. My third issue is the camera. Most of my friends and I are totally blind. The camera is accessible with voiceover, how ever it is not as easy as 123. If you know what I’m saying, I don’t find it so easy to use. I am trying to put a profile picture up, and it’s not very easy. My only request is if you can make The camera more easier? Can you make it like that other app seeing AI once you go through the peoples channel? :-) I would think that will be more easier for blind users like myself and a lot of my friends! :-) Please and thank you! :-)

Amazing app. I absolutely love clubhouse, the only thing that I dislike is industry people charging others to speak on a free platform that was built to create the connection between the industry world with individuals who are somewhat already in the industry. I feel like clubhouse needs to keep the app invite only maybe doing 1 invite every two months to stop the app from being over saturated like Facebook or Instagram where anyone can join. I think they need to have someone go into these rooms and make sure all guidelines are being met because most of them are not. This shouldn’t be a popularity app, but a tool to help creative minds link with professionals and network. People should not be charged to enter a public room by people claiming to be professionals. Cashapp’s should not be allowed in profile descriptions on a public platform. And I feel like being that the app was create to be an open form raising of hands should not be disabled. Moderators should just pick who that want on stage but not make someone feel less then by disabling hands.

Welcome to Clubhouse where you can be yourself or somebody else lol. I really enjoy streaming and podcasting on this app. I’ve been with this app since it started in 2020 even though I’ve been clipped numerous times I really enjoy this app because at one point I was able to accumulate up to $10,000 a year off of this app, I just wish that they would show who ends peoples rooms when you give away a moderator because that would really help the app. As well as letting us know who is moving/removing people off the stage so that it won’t be so much confusion between other moderators one of the most important things I realize is a lot of great friendships and relationships have been ruined because people take advantage of the moderation badge but I really love it 🫶🏾💝❤️‍🩹and I pray that things get better. The founders/developers ruined the app. They literally pushed out a truckload of terrible updates in the middle of the day that NOBODY asked for, removed a ton of features that were instrumental to user function and room/house management, and then when masses of users expressed HATING IT, they turned off their comments on IG, hosted a bunch of meaningless town halls where Paul monologues talking AT the audience and IGNORES people saying they do not appreciate these changes. We do not want audio everywhere. We want to be able to text when we want. We need to be able to back channel when running rooms WITHOUT losing the audio of the room we are in or running. It’s incredibly difficult to find your friends on the app. We can’t separate between live rooms and the stupid group chats. Some of us enjoy JUST LISTENING. Y’all literally broke something that was working just fine and are basically saying just embrace the change. We will just go elsewhere.

I hate social media. But I love clubhouse. It gives you access to talks with high level people. It actually provides value in your life. To the dev team, some user notes: I have notifications enabled but banners on IOS don’t give me good information. I get a partial list of people in a room, but the banner runs out of space before I see what the room is. A better format would be “[room name]: on stage is [people names]”. As they are now, the notifications are basically useless. On the scheduled rooms up at the top of the feed, it would be good to be able to schedule myself to listen in on the room, instead of having to remember to go back and find it again. Then get a notification that the selected room is beginning. It would be good to be able to subscribe to recurring rooms, in addition to following users. When someone creates a room, they might have the option to “make recurring” and then select which recurring room it falls into. This would allow for unique room titles, but also allow listeners to never miss a weekly/daily room they love. Finally, I’d say to add an estimated duration function. When someone starts a room, they put in the expected length of the discussion so that listeners can plan their time.

Bring back the old club house. Since the new latest update that happened , it changed the format of the application to the point it became a new application that nobody understands , everyone get disoriented with the update and almost everyone leaving it, so many accounts had been abandoned or cancelled, no one is here to talk to , my old friends that i spend almost 3 years talking to them are all gone, its just sad , witch make me think of the reason for this big changes in the latest update, Why? You practically killed the whole app, it used to be my favourite app but now it’s dead, literally had become a ghost site, so please change it to the old club house format, I can’t see who’s online, no rooms to join , no hallways to venture in, seriously What was the point of this update? It’s ugly and no use for it. If club house will remain with this format, i will cancel my account for good. So please bring back the old club house.

Help!. Let me start by saying this app is amazing and actually it’s the only social media app I get on every day now. My IG and FB are suffering because I’m all about Clubhouse every day all day. With that said, I’m frustrated. I was accidentally logged out of my account today and can’t get back in now. I’ve searched high and low on how to successfully log back into my account and I don’t see the information anywhere. Why isn’t that easily available? I know I didn’t delete my account but I can’t get into my existing account anymore. I tried reaching out to Clubhouse support via email and Twitter and haven’t received a response. I can admit it wasn’t that long ago that I sent that info in but I was expected to be in a room and can’t even access it now. The problem now is when I click on the app it’s trying to make me sign up all over again. Asking me to pick a new user name. I need to access my groups and contacts so I’m not trying to create a new user name. This review is to let it be know that Clubhouse is one of the best apps I’ve been a part of in a long time but how can I continue to enjoy it when I can’t even access my account that’s I’ve grown to love? Can someone help me with this??

Refreshingly intelligent & meaningful!!. Until Clubhouse, there’s not been a SM platform that gave me the opportunity to be vulnerable with my strong convictions and have meaningful conversations—even when there are those who disagree. 99% or the time, ppl with polar opposite views are exchanging sensible and respectful dialogue, which is growth for everyone who is open to basic human interactions—which are SO DESPERATELY NEEDED, now more then ever. I feel like every room session with the groups I’ve aligned myself with has been a spiritual experience. 🙏💕 Clubhouse just might save the world from itself. Maddening. I wish I never joined this app. One important thing to know is that when you receive an invite, the person who invited you permanently appears on your profile. This is pretty disturbing to me, and sends my OCD into overdrive. I was invited by someone who I don’t really know, and their account looks spammy when you click on it. I don’t like the fact that I’m forever associated with this person now. It makes me look bad, and if I knew this, I would’ve just waited to be invited by a close friend. Still, though, it definitely bothers me that this information is freely displayed on every profile. Please change this. It bothers me so much and is a major privacy issue. There is also no possible way to delete this app yet either, which is extremely frustrating. So now people with my phone number can find my profile and see all this personal information and I have no way to delete the app. There’s nothing I can do. It’s about to make me have a panic attack. I’m so angry and upset right now. I hate this app.

The chat box problem / Club problem. Despite amazing service and potential, somethings need to be improved. For example the problem of chat box. My archive is full of messages I no longer need and therefore wish to remove. There is also another remark. Since you can not follow a club anymore, it would have been great if I could put my clubs in order which suits my priorities. Or at least there was an option to turn on notifications of certain clubs instead of people. Because you might not be interested to all rooms a certain person joins, but you can be interested in the main subject of all rooms of a club. If that would be possible we can turn off people’s notifications that can be really annoying. So we don’t have to choose between notifications receiving so often and not receiving them at all.

New Updates, step in the right direction - long road ahead.. Many people hate the new updates, I don’t. Yes, the UI isn’t perfect yet and discovery is lack luster at best BUT, they are heading in the right direction. Why 5 stars? Two reasons: 1. They are still the best in the social audio space. 2. They are innovating. | You can find me on the app as CJ DeGuara if you want to ask me about it. The product isn’t anywhere near finished and the dynamics of the App have changed. Clubhouse is now great for networking with friends of friends and for hosting quick audio conversations by bringing people from outside the app to your House. It is no longer somewhere you go to get “discovered”. The bad reviews are mostly from micro creators that are annoyed that the product is no longer as conducive for them to aggregate an audience and gain visibility. If that is what you are after; then clubhouse is a 1⭐️ app, if you value getting to know new people just outside your network and staying in touch with friends in an audio environment; if you value good conversations the App still has a lot to offer and I believe it will continue to improve for that purpose. However if you want to be discovered, other apps offer much better opportunities.

Great but one thing!. This is a wonderful new approach to social media. It’s so much more personal and effective at getting to really know and connect with people! That being said, I do like having the ability to link my other social media profiles on my clubhouse profile, but the issue I have here is that you can only link one Instagram account and one Twitter. I personally only have one Twitter so that is fine, but I do use multiple Instagram pages for separate niche facets of my content. For example I have a personal page, a business page, and an art page. I would love to be able to link at least two if not all of them on my clubhouse profile if possible! I feel it would be easier for people to reference my work or contact information easily during conversation if they were able to find the correct link on my profile. If that makes sense! Zero respect for privacy. Red flags all over.. The app requires your phone number (first red flag), then it requires your contacts (the list of which it keeps forever, for all we know - second red flag). So anyone who has ever had your phone number not only can see your profile, but also share it with anyone or any room without your consent (a giant red flag - at the time of writing there's no way to selectively restrict your profile to certain users). Which makes Clubhouse a superspreader feeding ground for stalkers. Currently there's no way to simply delete your account, you can only request its removal and wait until someone attends to it - another red flag, that points at data collection, likely to sell it to third parties. At the time of writing Clubhouse "temporarily" stores voice recordings on their servers, which is a complete U-turn from their initial promises during the release. Some of the data the app collects from your phone has nothing to do with the service it provides - yet another red flag, and yet another app that treats its users as a product. On top of that, despite the app being in its early days, there's little to no moderation of hateful and toxic content, making it easy to exploit for people spreading dangerous conspiracies.

Overhyped with a bad user experience. App may provide a different take on social media, but the app itself is a mess. It’s confusing to understand, there is a no filters when dealing with languages you don’t understand, the made feed is a throw up of everything on the app makes it feel like spam..topics are shallow because the only people in rooms are people who love to hear themselves talk. There is no incentive to follow someone you don’t know, because a profile doesn’t show what they are about in anyway. Follows are reserved for people who are already famous or who have a standing in their field. Symbols and iconography are unconventional, which could be good, but instead it’s confusing. Chats are called, backchannel.. understandable but not user friendly. There’s almost no structure to this app. I would say that the appeal of app currently is its exclusivity with invites needed to sign up and pretentiousness of using a so called “groundbreaking” social media. There is not point to most conversations because nothing can be done except talk. Someone will make this happen, but it’s not going to be Clubhouse..

Find your voice and your tribe!. Listennnnn!! This app is the “stage” I said I would stand on and speak to the masses. 2020 said ok the stage is virtual babygurl but you gon’ be just as profound because now ya don’t hafta worry about hair and makeup! Just speak! This app revives the art of verbal communication like the good ol’ days when you had a 30 ft house phone cord so you could kick up your feet and chat with your friends about your goals! Just what we need during this pandemic to keep hearts, minds and spirits LIFTED! When you are intentional with your connections and your message, this app brings your tribe to you! Results NOT rhetoric with the genuine interactions! Keep a notepad, sticky notes, SOMETHING because the jewels being dropped on a daily will blow your mind and shift your life! And thus ends my dissertation on Clubhouse: The juxtaposition of social distancing and verbally embracing✊🏾 PS I may or may not be operating on 3 hours sleep writing this due to a phenomenal 6 hr discussion with some movers and shakers last night that started as a welcome room for my friend who had just joined.😂

Horrible support team and “Temporary suspensions”. I loved this app when I wasn’t tempary suspended and couldn’t do anything with no info anywhere about how long it could last clubhouse never got in contact with me as they claimed they would before hand if u got temp suspended. The problem with this app is if you get report ONE TIME that’s right O N E T I M E if it by a troll or something like that u will get temporary suspended. it’s honestly a problem because there support team DOESNT GET BACK TO YOU. All almost everyone I’ve seen on twitter or Reddit besides 1 person hasn’t gotten un “temporary suspended” after sending many emails to the company I have never been suspended on anything before until this. Because of this one report system and bad support team me and many other people have been suspended for no reason at all it’s a actually really bad problem PLEASE FIX THIS .

Not easely hooked, but.... I am completely hooked this time. There is something special about conversations where nobody is trying to be something they are not. You don’t need to worry about lights and cameras, you just bring yourself just as you are. There are good content, good opportunities for real conversation and of course is all audio. I like also that it makes inclusion better, nobody is worried about disability, color, or looks. The UI is clean and easy to use. It would be nice if there was an indication of who is talking. There is nobody going crazy and interropting others. Over all I love this app and whatever little things they will be able to fix over time. I just hope I won’t be to hooked. It is the first social media I find easy to engage with and contribute in. Congrats club house

Love this app. So I definitely found my crowd of ppl and it’s awesome and heartwarming. I can network if I so choose or just explore different rooms with my interest. Definitely five stars. I can’t wait to see how the app is improved over time. Here are some of my suggestions: ▪️A clapping or heart emoji when someone says something that resonates. And everyone can see the reactions of each other or maybe just the speaker. ▪️A brighter color highlighting the speaker(s) and maybe if their icon became bigger so when you want to address someone it will be easier to find them when scrolling through the room. Design feature idea: what if the stage icons were set in a circle with the speaker in the middle. Idk. Just putting that out there. ▪️Maybe a raised hand feature when on stage to speak next. Sometimes ppl talk over each other and while mostly everyone is polite about it we forget who should speak next. Maybe a number system! for example when I am done speaking whoever raising their hand on stage after me gets the number 1, 2, 3 and so on, on their icon and they get to go next. All in all I love the app and it helps greatly in these times. Some ppl are getting jobs, it’s helping small business, ppl are doing interviews and find their safe spaces to express themselves. Excellent work to the team. Love and light.

I love this app !!!!. I love this app because it allows you actually have a conversation with numerous people that you may have NEVER had the chance to talk to. But the one thing I that should change on this is maybe a space in the chat where the person who is talking make their picture bigger so that you can find their info, follow them on the app or on Instagram. Sometime I’m trying to figure out who is talking to connect with them but I have to scroll down to see who is talking instead of their profile picture popping up a little bigger (like zoom, I hate to compare. But I think it should show a bigger picture of the person talking but still have all the little pictures of people in the discussions. And maybe move the IG icon next to the follow button so that you can get back to the chat quick without having to scroll all the way down. Could you guys also a question chat so it is easier to the moderators can answers questions for the audience of course allowing the mediators to pick which questions they would like to answer. Love but…. This app is a game changer. Social media to the next level. I love it and so many features are amazing. Imagine having access to your favorite inspiration. Celebs, philosophers, performers, artists, business gurus, teachers, how to’s, friends… It’s amazing. That simple. 💥 I suggest the creators look into “block” feature and it’s affects. It’s silly to me to not be able to hear a replay from someone I follow simply because someone who is block-happy went on stage at some point. It’s juvenile to block folks Willy bully but some people I want to listen to attract some trolls that are master blockers. Don’t like your face, block. Don’t like your bio, block. Don’t like what you said that one time. Block. Don’t like who you follow, block. Etc. silly stuff. Anyway. If it could be fixed that’d be awesome. People can block whoever they want but I should be able to listen to a replay even if some block-happy folks went on stage at some point. Also. If I follow someone and am in their room, and someone in that room has me blocked and goes on stage, if I get a phone call or have to hop off, I can’t get back into the room. Like why? Blocking is silly in my opinion. I simply unfollow fools that are trolls or nasty. That feature needs a revamp. Please. And thank you 😊! Other than that, this app is uber cool. Blocking people. Although I enjoy using this app at most times. I have come to realize one of the major flaws which concerns me. I was in a chat playing a game with most of my clubhouse friends. During this game I had said something which was allowed but a individual didn’t have the same view us me so they got sensitive and ended up blocking me. Unfortunately this individual happened to be friends with many of the people I associate myself with on this app so therefore when the person goes into the chat before me I am not able to join the chat. I feel the need to speak on this because I honestly find it under that someone could prevent you from enjoying a good time and gaining new information from others due to their feelings. There should be a better way to avoid these sort of problems. One can be not being able to notice the other is in the chat or even hear them speak so problems could be avoided

Hazardous to your mental health.. I downloaded the app for research thinking I would learn something new, interesting, and vibrant about cyber culture and intersectionality. What I’ve learned, and I am really sorry to say this, is that the app is full of individuals who are not credible experts in their field and are only interested in facilitating discussions for the sole purpose of obtaining the greatest number of listeners and/or followers. For example if there’s a mass shooting or a prime minister suddenly resigns, your feed is ablaze of both with religious affirmation and NFT rooms sprinkled throughout. If you do decide to participate in discussions, please do so with caution (avoid grifter rooms) and make sure at least one of the moderators is an expert in their field. In my opinion, it’s an app full of echo chambers and unhealthy exchanges. I’m a psych major who listened for research purposes and I had to delete this app for my own safety. Maybe I’ll return who knows, but for now I’ve chosen easy breezy summer.

The Best Social Media Platform For Building Your Business. Before joining Clubhouse, I was unclear on what the application would truly offer beyond being yet another social media platform. After joining Clubhouse I became aware of both how misguided I was about Clubhouse and how much as a new small business owner I needed this forum. The connections I’ve made have been various but all have been invaluable. I’ve received what can arguably be tens of thousands of dollars worth of free advice about everything from branding to best business practices. The potential business collaborations are unfolding but I believe that they will be mutually beneficial. I think the big challenge for Clubhouse going forward is to not try to be a platform for all people and all things. I’ve seen some of the rooms take on the postures and topics that are more “traphouse” than Clubhouse. I am not advocating classism but I think that perhaps making “hallways” for certain types of rooms may be interesting (but this may create echo chambers that would be counter Clubhouse).

New upgrade is a bummer.. I love, love, love CH, but I’m super bummed that you removed the three upcoming rooms at the top of the hallway. I feel like I’m not going into or finding as many rooms as I used to. I don’t have the time to scroll through aaaaaall of the scheduled events to find rooms to rsvp to, mostly because I literally have to scroll through a ton of stuff that doesn’t interest me, just to find one that might. It’s really hard to navigate that portion of the app. Now, when I see rooms going on that I’m interested in, I’m late to the room because I had no idea it was going to be going on. I really love the app, but this specific part of the upgrade is hella disappointing. I’d probably be less bummed if the calendar section had a way to look for rooms by selecting the specific time or something like that. It makes no sense for me to have to scroll through hours worth of every room possible just to get to the time frame that I’m able to get on CH. I’ll still use the app, but slightly begrudgingly. Aside from that, the app is amazing.

I didn’t know I needed Clubhouse. I LOVE this app! It has been 8 days and I am absolutely addicted! I heard about it from a travel group I’m in on Facebook and thought I’d give it a try. Not only am I enjoying my travel clubs (shout out to GLT!), but I am also enjoying clubs for my other interests! I’m a teacher, so I’m in clubs for education and science. I love languages, so I am in clubs for people learning the same languages I am! In my free time, I join social rooms and talk to random people, some have already become my friends. You can Ping people into rooms you think they would like, and they can do the same for you. Finally, I end my day by falling asleep listening to the Lullaby Club. If you have a niche interest, there might already be a club for that, or you can start your own!

It was good while it lasted. I've been an avid user of Clubhouse for quite some time, and I have to say that the recent update has left me extremely disappointed. The removal of the "back channel" feature has had a profound impact on my experience with the app. I used the "back channel" to stay in touch with some amazing people I met on Clubhouse. It was a convenient and seamless way to have private conversations and collaborate on various projects. Losing this feature has severed valuable connections and made it challenging to maintain the relationships I formed within the app. Not only is the removal of the "back channel" a significant letdown, but the new version of the app is also incredibly confusing. It feels like the user interface has taken a step backward, making it harder to navigate and use effectively. Overall, this update is a major disappointment. I would strongly urge the Clubhouse team to reconsider their decision and bring back the features that made the app so special in the first place. If not, I'm seriously considering removing the app from my device and seeking alternative platforms that better meet my communication needs. Please, Clubhouse, give us back the older version that we loved!

Great app overall for networking. This app definitely offsets one of the most fundamentaly important things that we as a people been missing ever since the pandemic started; social gatherings. This app is perfect for networking with like minded people to help you on this journey called life. The app is a lil addictive ngl. Its a great alternative to regular podcast bc its live and interactive. You guys definitely cultivated a great app and would love to see it grow. My only form of criticism is that the audio could be a bit louder and a bit more clear or a way for you to stream music seamlessly through the phone/app overall five stars "💫💫💫💫💫"and when this company become public, I would love to invest in the brand ‼️ Re: would also love to see the explore page i like that ability to change rooms with different topics not just one specific thing. If it follows that curve it will turn into ig and it would lose its novelty to me at least. I dont wanna see 50 rooms named: "music review" .....I like philanthropy and stocks too y know? If its not broke..... u get the point

Great app but unfortunately it’s limited now.. I loved loved loved the app until today. Before the update, I got to jump in and out of very diverse chats, from finance to music to psychology to poetry to straight up gossip chatrooms. After the update; my listening is very limited to the people I chose to follow and their interest in the two weeks I’ve been on the app. Clubhouse has turned itself into another Instagram app where it shows you targeted content based off of the content you “liked” when you first joined. I HATE IT HERE NOW. What made the app great for me was I had access every space, every topic, everyone everywhere (within the app, of course) with just a click on a globe. Now I have to scroll thru people I follow to find other people to follow in hopes the start an interesting room when in reality they are avid listeners and note takers like myself. Since you removed the explorer page, I can’t expand my knowledge or explore other topics I may not have known existed. Since I didn’t follow enough people early on, I lost access to many spaces including psychological and finance chats which is directly within my field. So now with such a heavy heart, I dislike the app because I’m stuck listening to the same people talking about the same things every other day. Can y’all bring back the explorer page?! Please and thank you. If not; I’ll stick to Twitter b|c there I can at least click on a thread within the thread and learn something new.

Notifications are out of control. This would be a more amazing app if they would get it together with the notification settings. Even with the settings tweaked, I am still getting constantly spammed with notifications for rooms I don’t care about, which leads me to just turn them off altogether or unfollow more active users. I understand the entire premise is built on FOMO but it’s incredibly annoying, and then I miss rooms I actually would like to join because I’ve either turned everything off or don’t even bother looking at the laundry list of notifications. We need more precise settings for this, as well as being able to subscribe to more specific subject matter we’re interested in and want to hear about. If an artist I follow is in a LOL FRIDAY BOOZE TIME ROOM, I don’t care to know; If they’re in an art discussion, I do care to know. This problem is ridiculous and it seems like options for control over this are being stripped instead of increased.

UI Trouble. As with any social media desperate for something – whatever that may be – Clubhouse is continually adjusting things that users never asked for; such as: making the friend list a one-dimensional, horizontal scrollable list which only shows a view of ~4-5 users (on my device) at any time, akin to Instagram’s Stories UI. In the case of Instagram, it’s incredibly obnoxious and trashy. It’s worse in the case of Clubhouse, because the list – which requires unnecessary amounts of scrolling – involves friends online or recently active. This is directly counter to how the app functioned since inception (as far as this user is aware of). The “old” design of the online / recently active list allowed for the viewing of many more friends per ‘screen’ – much less scrolling involved to achieve trivial information such as the answer to, “who’s online and may be available to talk?” An easy suggestion to the developers of Clubhouse is to *not* be inspired by examples from the dumpster, like Meta/Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google... Were the UI folks hired from a company like Meta? Is the excuse that this is “an experiment” ? I don’t know a single friend or person on CH that thinks the new UI change is any good. It’s not a “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” issue; it’s simply just terrible design. This is straightforward.

Clubhouse... can’t hear anything bad connection constantly. Love it when it works... the poor connection message is now continuously on and I can no longer listen or join any rooms and I can’t find any information on why this is happening. I’ve turned wifi off abd off plus turned phone off. Then re installed app twice... and still I can’t hear anything in any room. I’d love some help please.

Improvements too slow. I think Clubhouse is great . But other competitors have emerged because clubhouse has been too slow on things . We should have a group ping list , so we don’t waste time creating an atmosphere. We should have indefinite pause of notifications . And we should be able to get rid of sone of the stupid rooms in hallway we would never go into . We want to jog see permanently in our Hallway like Black Israelites always debating

Not working without WIFI. I have a 5G iPhone 12 Pro max and when i use this app without wifi it says weak signal and it doesn’t work. When I connect to wifi it works. I tried 4G and 5G settings and with best signals from Telstra network its not working. Seems to be a bug or something It is also set to work on mobile data.

Absolutely the new way to learn. This provides a level of access to people that money could buy The knowledge base provided by these people make you understand what you require to be as influential as them Every room brings a whole new world of understanding

Fabulous. This is really a fabulous application . But if could you please add ‘Add another account’ option ? That would be really great, because it’s easy to switch profiles who is maintaining a page and a personal account.

Review + Suggestion. Been using clubhouse since the beta version. Its been highly impressive so far, the few errors or bugs are negligible to the amount of connections and impactful conversions its given me access to. It will be most beneficial to add the ability to reply directly to the chatbox in rooms especially when someone asks a direct question.

Poor connection. I’m not sure what the hell the devs have done to the app but it’s saying I have poor connection when I have full 4g bars on my phone. Don’t get me wrong, I love the concept and you’ll learn a lot listening and interacting. But like I said at the start, the app is buggy as. Please do something about this. It’s make or break.

Loving the audio format. Early days for me but already seeing the value of consuming and contributing content on this platform.

If you love error msgs, this is your app.. The ‘poor connection’ message, when you have full strength wifi/ phone signal is frustrating beyond belief! And zero help to fix it or even to begin to understand why it keeps happening. I want to love this app. But it’s so buggy, and frustrating it feels like it’s really not worth the effort. Pull your socks up guys! Before someone else makes a far more reliable version.

AirPlay feature. This is a fantastic app in social media app’s. One missing feature is Airplay for iOS.

Life shifting insights. This app is HUGE. Such a powerful, incredible platform with endless opportunities, insights and knowledge to be gained from some of the most influential people in the world. To have the opportunity to ‘speak on stage’ alongside the people you look up to and are inspired by is an otherwise impossible experience to have in this world, particularly right now, but Clubhouse makes this possible. It’s also an INCREDIBLE funnel for your business and services. CH is all about substance, removing all imagery content which is the base of all other social media apps, a place where you have to be PRESENT (no recordings allowed — be there or miss out) and be actively listening to take in all free knowledge shared by the speakers. Incredible app, so grateful to be a part of this community so early on.

Waiting for approval. Waiting for approval of account since last 1 month still no reply... can anyone please send me invitation.

Cannot login. After my friend logged in the App and then logged out his account on my phone, now I have been unable to log onto my own account. No matter how many invitations I’ve got, the system just keep denying my login information. Why doesn’t it work?

Waste of time. Terrible App that requires an invite from a friend to access and even when you get an invite it still doesn’t work! There has to be something better! I certainly wouldn’t be wasting my time!

Doesn’t work well in Aus. I have over 100,000 followers and a club with 250K+. I can’t use the app unless I’m on Wi-Fi, and using a VPN. Sadly this means I can hardly use the app any more as its so inconvenient. Such a shame. Have lodged this multiple times with the team but no updates are ever made.

Glitches. This is an amazing platform, however it is prone to glitch resulting in complete loss of audio. as it is an audio app, this glitch can make the app completely unusable for long periods of time. Hopefully the Clubhouse team can fix this issue quickly.

Problem with the service. Hi From today I have problem with the sound I can’t hear anything in the rooms. I can enter the rooms and get notifications but can’t hear anything. I can’t even see the mic. I have logged out and updated my app but still have the same problem. Can you please advies me?

Has potential. If you like listening to podcasts but you often wish you could join the conversation then this app might be worth a try. They could make some improvements by adding some better privacy options.

Doesn’t work. Why can’t I log in- sat up Acct with phone and email but I have been seeing a message about getting my Acct ready for the past 3 weeks

Why I have the poor connection?. I live in Australia, and I’m using Telstra service. I do suffer from poor connection problem, I can’t use CH while I’m using my 4G, WiFi does work. Could you please help me solve this problem?

Feedback. I like the way it works, but sometimes there are some bugs… when I press people’s profile, sometimes I cannot quit the page, and then when I tried to quit clubhouse and then re-enter, the page of the clubhouse is empty… I think this bug needed to be removed. By the way, i deleted clubhouse and re download, but the bug is still here.

Recent update. Hi Paul and Rohan, You guys are losing a lot of people in clubhouse after the recent updates. The new update on leaving voice notes are welcoming and the idea of a voiceover platform makes sense with this update. But, the hallways looks a lot messier, our favourite houses and lots of voice notes are all mixed up and it’s an eyesore technically. I’m a regular listener of clubhouse and now I’m finding it so frustrating due to the cluttered hallways due to the new updates. Why don’t you try and separate these voice notes in hallways to the message section and make it like a private, general and request message section? It would make a lot of sense and would be helpful for users too. Kindly consider this request please. Thank you.

Hard to Find Friends and Their Events. Can't follow Twitter and Instagram friends even after connecting accounts. Still need to manually search for them. Feed is useless as it's auto-populated with random events by power users that you don't follow. It's like a Twitter feed with only sponsored posts. Literally had to write down the time of my friend's event on a paper now so I wouldn't forget. Why is there no friends-only feed?

Questionable and untrustworthy. Seems questionable, look at their privacy policy saying they will record all your conversations. Also you need an invitation to sign up, but they already ask for your phone number even if you don’t have one, so now people scam others online selling invites. Very dodgy. Don’t bother wasting your time and downloading.

High usage error. To be honest, i am not happy with this feature that whenever i try to send someone message it closes automatically saying “our system has detected high usage of this features”. I searched everywhere but i am unable to find accurate reason for this. Please fix this and let us know. Thanks

Mobile data issue. Cannot hear audio when i turn on mobile data mode on my device(iPhone). It works fine on WiFi mode though. Surprisingly sometimes it works on mobile data mode as well, very weird!🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️. Have tried several times removing the app and reinstalling it but the issue is still same. I’m using the most updated version.

Awful update !!! Bring back the old version. What an awful update I can’t find any rooms anymore and the profile looks awful and it’s not user friendly anymore ….just don’t make these changes because everyone will stop using it !!

Clubhouse amazingness. Loving it. Would love to work out how to see more rooms under certain topics. Would be INCREDIBLE If you can add reactions - like we can on FB lives so the audience / listeners can love / wow / clap etc when we hear the panel sharing something that inspires us etc. So we can give them “feedback” whilst listening

No Sound on mobile network. I am not taking about static or any glitch, I get no sound at all when I am on mobile network, moment I am on WiFi I get the sound straight away, it’s not even network issue coz I get 5G network most of the time.

Amazing App!. Just downloaded it 3 days ago! Set up and account and listened in to a few channels! Really awesome app!! Highly recommend for a talk back radio like podcast app. Has some amazing features!!

This app probably won't be around in a couple of weeks!. This is the sort of update that will destroy an app completely! What an absolute unmitigated load of garbage! although many clubhouse updates have been slowly degrading the quality of the app, this one is definitely the final deathblow! Roll it back to the way it was if you want to survive!

New interface: a laughable, inaccessible disaster!. After testing the new interface this morning, One can assume only that regardless of any claims to the contrary, no beta testing of any kind was conducted regarding Accessibility of the new interface! Disregarding the fact that the creation of live rooms is buried now ridiculously amongst the new asynchronous Chat feature, The Microphone button in the main hallway is no longer exposed to Apple's Accessibility layer, With the result that anybody relying on VoiceOver (i.e. unable effectively to read the screen) is unable to start a chat or a room. Furthermore, even exposed controls are unlabelled, meaning a VoiceOver user can have no real idea as to their function! If the developers intention was to continue to hæmorrhage the greatest number of users in the shortest possible time, they are doing a tremendously superlative job!

Permanently poor connection on mobile data. Initially I really enjoyed clubhouse, it worked great. But then a few weeks ago I started seeing the “poor connection” message. This message became permanent except when I connect to the wifi. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, logged in and logged out, checked my mobile settings. I tried to even click the FAQ link on the app but it didn’t work. Apparently I’m not the only one experiencing this issue.

Blocked by other user. If you are blocked by other user as a speaker in a room, you can’t see the room at all. This function has been abused by people, they block others just so that they can’t see the room, let alone speak or listen. Please delete this block function.

Good app but club dynamic needs change. Club membership or the ability to create a club should not be limited to active members only. This will be the exact thing that brings in users who might not otherwise find utility in clubhouse

Used to be fun. Clubhouse was a lot of fun during the pandemic but it’s been on a downhill slope since. The app keeps talking about “community” but the community leader, Joe Armenia is one of the most arrogant, self absorbed people you’ll ever know. Him and his minions (10 of them) are more like a CLIQUE then a COMMUNITY. There is no use for this app other then if you know someone who used to use it. The politics of the employees favouring “power” users is so common. Unless you have something to offer them in the way of clout, they could care less about your existence. If you love gossip, drama, rooms that are run by non experts on their expert opinion, than this app is for you!

Update failure. New update is a failure, not at all user friendly as before.

No privacy. There is no privacy and there is no option to delete your account. Once you sign up anyone who has your number gets a notification about you joining. Zero stars.

Annoying hallway. The newest version has a drawback that you can’t hide or delete conversations that you don’t want to see. This makes the hallway redundantly busy.

The new update is a crap!. In the new update I lost most of my friends and followers and they have to follow me again which is sucks. Plus, there is no direct text messaging option to people any more and instead we have voice messaging. When there is already a favorite feature available in the app, you should not replace it with a new one. You should ADD the new feature to the previous one. It means that you should keep the text message feature as is and add the voice message to that not replacing text message with voice message. The other problem is the number of talks that the app is showing in each profile. Previously I could reach to a talk for two years ago and listen to that but now I have only access to the last 7 talks in each profile which is terrible and there is no way to have access to previous talks. The list of problems is very long and Clubhouse has to hire some professional UX designers to undo this terrible update or say goodbye to the market, since no-one is going to use this crap.

Bring Back ClubHouse. You lucky I Didnt give zero star. This update was the worst things you could have ever done. I mean the numbers speak for themselves. We know the budget is tight and you had to let a lot of people go, but this is not a good move. Hopefully you guys can come up with something fast. Because we leaving

Accessibility. While the app has seen a lot of excitement around getting on and engaging in chat rooms, the inaccessibility for CC for people who are Deaf of Hard of Hearing is a no for me. As we create new physical and online spaces, we need to consider how we can include everyone. You’re leaving out an important and incredible community from the conversations. I hope you can think about this as you improve the app.

OVERSABI IS NOT GOOD. Who told you to change the app? You completely ruined it.. people were leaving the app to face the real world and now you’re going to make the rest of us touch grass..

Censoring pro-Palestine rooms. A coordinated and systemic effort to silence Palestinian voices. Rooms that feature the name Palestine or feature pro-Palestine voices experience exceptional roadblocks such as kicking out mods, shadow banning, and technical issues like poor connection and not being able to see the rooms in the homepage. Alternatively, clubhouse has profiled and heavily advertised other rooms.

After update isn’t working. I’ve updated the app, now it’s completely unusable. I can’t see friends or rooms or anything for that matter

New update. Their new update is garbage, I have no idea who approved this entire decision but if they don’t go back to what it used to be, They will go belly up in no time.

Worst latest update. If you guys update it the way it had the settings in the last version people would still like to enjoy it but I swear this update is a chios and people are starting to delete because no one is able to understand your settings .

My opinion about the new update. Good morning . I guess the new changes you made are a bit annoying. We are not allowed to send messages to our friends or react to photos or tag hashtags in the rooms, we cannot see the complete profile like before or see friends. s of my friends. The number of attendances is no longer displayed at the top... and even more so for errors and tools. We are not against the new version as it sends audios and everything... but it misses the miscellaneous of the penultimate version. And thank you

Horrible just horrible. Clubhouse is a disaster now. It used to be easy to use and so practical and now it is just a disaster. Im so disappointed.

Censorship. This app actively censors rooms that do not align with their own political beliefs. Most recently, rooms (focused on Palestinians networking and raising awareness on humanitarian concerns in their country) have been censored and/or shut down.

THE WORST UPDATE EVER. By far the latest update I did on September 06, was the worst one ever! Can’t access to my homes, my friend lost, chats! Even if you go to a live club and want to join to its live chat it takes you to another random club!!!! Please fix this

Be aware - Privacy. This app does not allow you to set any privacy config. Everyone can see all your followings and followers and inviters. They don’t offer a feature to change your phone number or delete the account. Once you share your contacts information, “they will keep this information forever even you request to delete the account.” This touches the bottom line of many people’s involving mine. Please add the feature to set as a private account, or offer the functionality to delete the account with ALL INFORMATION. If you are trying to download this app, think again before you share out any personal information.

Used to be good. This app saved my life during the pandemic and I met some amazing humans. However since the update I have zero desire to use the app anymore. You guys single handededly ruined a good thing with this new update and lost the entire essence of what the app was meant to be. I never did this…. I never used an app and left it to come to the App Store, search for it, find it and give it a review it didn’t ask for. Clubhouse is soooooo incredible. I feel like I can sit in my washroom and be surrounded by geniuses. This app is insanely powerful. It can do so much for who wants to grow in almost any field. I think I love it more than books. It’s real people, having emotions and purpose, full of knowledge and insight, with all kinds of particularities. Learning an teaching. Its so great. Thank you. Basis of joining?. I found out about this app from an article in August or so of 2020 and immediately looked it up to download. I found out it was invite only and since it was relatively new still I decided to sign up, thinking it wouldn’t be that long since I got in early. Half a year later I’m still waiting for my invite text, but that’s not the best part. I live in Shanghai and the Chinese community has recently found out about this app because of a little chat Elon musk had with RobinHood. So it’s gotten quite large over here. So I’m seeing the people that have been able to sign up has spiked because now most of my Chinese friends ( who has no idea about this app two days ago ) have accounts except me, someone who has been waiting for ,what feels like , forever. I understand that it’s mostly my FOMO that has me upset but I don’t understand that, just because one irrelevant person got into the group that now I have other friends who are asking me what this app is, have accounts, and I don’t when i was really excited to join this community from the ground floor and discuss really awesome cross culture issues . Now I feel like I’m missing all of the good stuff already. So shouldn’t people who are actually interested in joining be allowed to join first before people who are just joining because their friends tell them to?

I miss the old days. This app was my go to for morning news or health advice. I remember networking with people and sharing my business and skills. I was able to meet people from around the world and in different states. It was easy to join a club and just listen or talk on the stage. However, when clubs turned into houses it completely changed the dynamics in the app. You were forced to join a house to get access to certain content, which is not necessarily horrible. There was this concept of private vs public houses, but it limited what you would see in the hallway. I could find rooms or search for the title of a room very easily. Fast forward to today, we now are forced to only talk to friends, and that’s still an grey area because now everyone is just befriending each other to see where other rooms are open (sharing links). It would be nice to have friends and followers, similar to Facebook. In the end, I’m just left with voicemails from 3 days ago, and not exposed to any real topics. Please consider improving the app using actual user feedback to make adjustments.

Love it + Recommendation. So I actually never leave reviews, this is my first one. I really like this app. Something about just having voice is amazing! My only thing is, messaging. I would love to privately message people that I like on here. Having to do it outside the app can be very annoying especially when you’re trying to network. Another thing, the rooms should have a chat room options for multiple reasons: 1. Some people are introverted and don’t want to speak but would like to show agreement or make a point but can’t do so if it’s only voice. 2. Sometimes the moderators are forced to remove the hand raising option, which again limits opportunity to connect.

Great community, bad app. I’ve really enjoyed the communities on Clubhouse, but the actual experience of using the app is bad. The audio quality is terrible—the levels of every speaker vary widely, and often change dramatically within any given session. Also the fact that you can’t hear yourself when speaking is a major problem. For an app whose sole focus is audio this is unacceptable. The ability to communicate other than actually speaking is nonexistent. It would be helpful to add some additional messaging options. And the notification options are also poor. There should be better filters to help promote rooms you only care about. The current settings don’t work well at all. Overall, there’s a lot of potential with this app, but it needs much work, particularly with the awful audio.

No way to report bugs or contact support. I have a pair of Sony WH-1000XM4 Bluetooth headphones. Every time I use them with this app and take off the headphones which should pause the room or at least leave the room. Instead Clubhouse comes blasting out of my phones speakers and I have to disconnect everything and reconnect just to be able to listen. All my other apps work flawlessly with these headphones except Clubhouse. What’s worse is I can’t report the bud to anyone. We just get what we get. I suppose I could use a different pair of headphones but I specifically bought these ones to listen to podcasts and Clubhouse. Now I’ll only be using them to listen to podcasts I guess. Hopefully this gets read by a developer and is fixed. I’m getting ready to just leave this app.

Wonderful app!. The things this app allows are crazy. No other social media platform puts me in direct contact with the people I strive to be like—it doesn’t feel one-sided at all. The app is for discussion, and that discussion happens, regardless of who you are. I’m having questions answered by people I could only dream of actually speaking to. It’s insane. I just hope the app stays like this to where followers represent nothing on the app, and the app keeps its casual, idea-oriented tone. We have plenty of Facebook and Instagram alternatives. In its current state, this app is super unique and has plenty to offer as an idea sharing platform.

Join today!!!!!!!. For this app to be in Beta, it’s amazing. I have been able to network and meets many people from literally ALL walks of life. If you’re a business owner I would string encourage you all to download this app. You may be waiting for approval unless you know someone who can invite you personally, but get on the waiting list in the meantime and start networking!! The developers created something with this app and I love it. Just be careful because not everyone with 4-5 digit followers are well known or famous.

Almost great, needs work. I really like the concept and have had great experiences so far that’s said the app is sorely missing in lack of iPad compatibility and tryi mg to move from using app on iPhone to iPad and back again will log you out each time… major pain. Additionally there seems to be a lack of basic moderator features where it’s possible for users to start a room and have it get taken over and then get banned from the room they create… lastly no links in your profile text work and you can’t copy paste either, so if you put your website in there it’s hard for users to quickly go see you pages…I think if they fix these glaring issues it would be a 5 star app.

Too much arguing!. When I first joined this app back in 2020, it was through exclusive invite only. Now that it has been opened up for anyone to join, it has been problematic. There are so many rumors on his app where folks are arguing and creating topics that are highly offensive. There’s so much disrespect from men to women and vice versa. I used to love that it had so many innovative people who were bringing information that I couldn’t find elsewhere but now it has turned into A cesspool of negativity. I also wanted to mention the ring around the person who is speaking is not bright enough they could be hundreds of people on the stage and you wouldn’t even know who is talking. I came on this app for business and now I am leaving

No live rooms 🌹. Dear Clubhouse, I doubt you read these app reviews because you do not listen to your creators who have been on the app since it started! I don’t like how buried the app has become! I can’t find any of my original live rooms. There are scammers on this app and has scammed people tons of money. No one does reference checks on here. I would like to return to the old Clubhouse without voice threads. I can’t DM anyone instantly to connect and collaborate. You want us all to be friends but why gatekeep that stuff? You kick people constantly and keep adding updates without our knowledge. I love the app to talk to people and work with people. Just not these new updates these bugs really need fixing Paul and Joe!

Feedback on the New Clubhouse Update. I am writing to provide feedback regarding the recent update to the Clubhouse app. While I appreciate the effort put into enhancing the user experience, I must express my concerns and frustrations with the new update. Firstly, I find the updated version of Clubhouse difficult to figure out. Previously, the app had a seamless interface that allowed users to navigate effortlessly. However, with the new update, several features seem to have been rearranged or removed, causing confusion and hindering the overall usability. Furthermore, I have noticed that a significant number of features that were available in the previous version are now missing. For instance, BC feature, which played a crucial role in connecting and engaging users, is no longer accessible. This removal has had a negative impact on the platform's functionality and overall user experience. Finally, I would like to emphasize that the previous version of Clubhouse was highly appreciated for its simplicity and user-friendly interface.

Need CarPlay app ASAP. I absolutely Love clubhouse, it is amazing and is the only “social media” that I am addicted to. Being able to connect with people around the world live, to hear what’s going on, listen to expert’s opinions, and debate whatever you want. Clubhouse is amazing, but there are 2 things that us users need first being Apple CarPlay support, we don’t need to see speaker and other distracting stuff, but a mute/unmute button, or hand raising, plus a lobby would be the biggest upgrade to this app, as well as option to sort stage by last spoken, thanks so much you run the best app on the internet!!!!!!

Yes to tab bar! More focus on clubs. Thank you for adding the tab bar. This is great. Clubs are second class citizens compared to the live rooms, but I eventually I think they need to become the focal point. The club home page could be more focused on latest content. Can you make private clubs? What if you made a private club for the first 500 users of clubhouse? Do you think having that private space would make them come back? Also would be cool to post async audio messages within a club. It would be an ongoing async conversation. (Only allowed if no live room going on.) but it would give a chance for users to interact with club even if no live room going on. IMO one tab should be dedicated to your followed clubs. I would have a screen with a list of followed clubs. It would have the clubs sorted by most recent content update (new replay, new scheduled event, etc).

Needs updated features. I’m enjoying Clubhouse so far and the ability to chart live with other professionals. There is yet a lot to be desired. A few things I’d love to see: 1) ability to join without providing phone number for privacy and to be able to join other ways. Also, I’ve heard people can see our phone numbers so please add privacy. 2) Ability to include our pronouns under our names while active in a room as well as in our bios so people gender others correctly. I’ve seen people misgender others and I’ve been misgendered in rooms because there is not a quick way to see pronouns directly in the room. This would be a way to be more inclusive. 3) Ability to change our name / handle more than once—some of us are figuring out new names for ourselves as artists, in our professions/business or as gender diverse people. 4) Ability to add website in the bio. 5) Ability to download recording of a room we host. 6) More privacy features. Thank you for taking the time to consider these features!

Serious data privacy concerns. Even if you don’t share your contacts, Clubhouse uses your phone number (as part of their sign up process) to check if any other clubhouse users who HAS synced their contacts has your number. If so, they “recommend” users based on your phone number being in other people’s contacts. This is a major violation of data privacy, given that you, the user, are NOT giving Clubhouse consent to use your phone number or your contacts but they do it anyway. After reviewing their Privacy Policy, it’s shocking how they use and profit off of questionable - and I would argue borderline illegal - consumer data activities. Don’t use clubhouse until they stop abusing consumer’s data privacy.

Most recent version. I’m not really liking this new version that was recently downloaded. The voice texting is OK, but there are times when manual texting is needed. Where did the option go to ping others into the room? There are also no online options to ask questions and get help from Clubhouse directly. I also wish they did not remove the chat from the room immediately, it is always nice to be able to go back and refer to it for a while. I hope you take these critiques under consideration, and bring these features back along with the new features.

Ocean Waves of Information ✨. It’s been 4 days and I have connected with professionals that have great information on investing and other areas of interest. People sharing experiences, invites to participate in podcasts. Being able to express yourself and ask questions. I feel on Clubhouse you will find individuals with like synergy. For me it has been all positive and encouraging. I’m grateful my friend/colleague Leila Steinberg introduced me with an invite. It has a fresh vibe. With new innovations there will be growth. It will be exciting to experience the shifts. Clubhouse feels like infinite ocean waves of information and possibilities. I appreciate the opportunity to connect, share, listen & learn ✨

Decent but could use re-introduction to old features. I like that I’m able to chat with friends on this app and especially being able to do it for free is a bonus. But the major complaint that I have and that many of my friends have is that with iOS you no longer can ping or invite people into a club that you’re in unless it’s open to the public. If it is closed and set to private you are no longer able to do that which is very frustrating and will eventually push me to deleting the app and returning to other platforms to poor chatting and communications. I suggest that the developer bring back that feature to iOS or else I will no longer recommend it to my friends and family and people that I talk to

Bad UX because of the weird recommender system. Well, the app was great and brought much fun for the first few times I used it. But after two weeks usage, I was frustrated that I can’t train the recommender algorithm at all, and my recommendation list was always stuck with rooms I’m not interested in. For example, I didn’t check the Russian language as my interest, but yesterday, half of rooms on my list are Russian rooms. And I know my friend’s friends are hosting some interesting topics there but I can never see them on my recommendation list. Even if I have got the link to a specific room, I can only add them on the Apple or Google calendar but not the clubhouse calendar. I enjoyed the app but I really have a big doubt about your algorithm. So, I gave a negative review, and hopefully this issue could be solved.

Great App - see some consumer feedback below:. This app has blown up in last few weeks! So so many public figures are on here giving insightful tips. You could only understand the algorithm if you join chat rooms and listen to mods. Here are some of my feedback for the creators: - include a chat room for non-mods in big rooms to chat and add links to! - include a questions where non-mods could ask questions while speakers are talking to continue the conversation. (Similar to how IG Lives ask questions) - add some type of queue for speakers so people aren’t fighting for the mic

Internet connection slow but sound quality higher!. I enjoyed the previous version of this app where my internet connection was okay and I could listen to other people. but the last update just ruined the experience. It always says find a better connection. I would like to see the option of sound quality in the settings where I can change it manually according to my internet speed, or maybe automatically it lowers the quality based on my internet speed. Otherwise, I just can’t use the app anymore. 🤔😢

Very complicated to get in touch with app developer if not a member. Okay, I have been invited by a friend via my number. I have tried everything the app and Reddit threads have recommended (e.g. restart my phone or delete and redownload the app) to alleviate this issue but it is still not working. I have tried contacting the app support via the app support link provided on the App Store. The problem with this is that there is no way for the app to contact me as it does not give me the option to leave my email or other contact details. Instead, the feedback is sent directly to a town hall in the app that I can’t join or see because I’m not a member in the app... I know this is a long shot, but if someone from the app could please get in contact with me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

Most productive app. When you use this app the correct way your limits are non existent. Lot of people not using it correctly get what THEY want out of it. 4/5 cuz there is room for some improvement on moderators abilities. Mute all mic, levels to moderation, and maybe even allowing convos to categorized instead of having a free for all timeline. If I want to enter music discussions have a that as a separate tab from sports convos or gossip talk. I think connectivity and the way you receive notifications can be fixed. I think once it goes public the true value could go down by scaring away useful users like celebs, industry connects etc So far so good tho

Really? Voice notes?. Not only is the UI horrible with this new uodate and the privacy terms changed to where CH has rights to your voice notes, but the entire concept of CH bringing community tg has been erased. Looks like they got bought out by AI improvemnt investors and have no care for user experience anymore. I miss the days when I could come on CH not only to visit the amazing friend I’ve made and many have met in person forming lifelong bonds but for the rooms w content and random spots where I would meet new people. Now these voice notes push active rooms down making it harder to navigate and all messages are sent by voice note so if you’re in an active room you cannot listen to your messages. Really hope you guys come up w something better than this.

Angry. I have been shadowed banned on your app for over 7 Months!! I have tried to contact you all of them I cannot make a room I cannot seem to get help and I been on this app over a year and have over 1k following there is no reason why I should be going through what I have other then this is DISCRIMINATION based on this pandemic and the information being exposed and shared I have been made to not make clubs and THAT IS NOT OK being a black woman I feel this needs to be addressed NOW of DELETE MY ACCOUNT AND REMOVE ALL MY INFORMATION OFF YOUR SYSTEMS I will continue to spread the word if my treatment this is feels like I am being victimized for freedom of knowledge and information !!! I don’t not mind copy pasting every single email I sent and the responses I got back to show my receipts on this unnecessary bullying I’m not the only one who’s experiencing this treatment THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED!!!

Direct Message to moderators?. I’m loving my time on the app. Took me visiting a few rooms before I got the swing of things. I’ve received some great tips/advice in a number of rooms and for that I’m appreciative. While in a few rooms, I found myself wanting and sometimes needing to get a direct message to the moderators quickly. Is there a way to add this option so those listening can get speak with moderators without needing to raise your hand, be invited to the stage, wait your turn to speak? I wanted someone to repeat a website address and a name but couldn’t do anything on my end. The moment passed and in one instance the person left the room.

Gratitude 4 CH. Though I was more comfortable in the CH version that I learned in 2021, as a nearly 70-year old that must stretch my meager retirement funds, I so appreciate how I can search & be connected to other compassionate adults. Unfortunately, we need a better system for restorative justice when scammers got people to invest in their schemes. I propose that CH start working with people that I have vetted. We appreciate that there are now many people who have proven how we can blend technology. Children under 18 shouldn’t be allowed on app. The minimum age was recently reduced from 17+ down to 12+ on app. This has made me and others very upset as a daily users of the app. Most of the content in the app isn’t safe or appropriate for minors to participate or interact in, as it’s mostly of mature nature. This is causing controversy and it will negatively affect the app due to all the risks this new change is bringing. No one wants to be constantly worried about a minor being present, especially when there is no way to tell the age of a person at first glance or any official identification verifiers. Predators will take advantage of this. What is the benefit of having kids involved in our space in the first place? I’m requesting for the minimum age to be reinstated to what it used to be or higher. Just develop a clubhouse Jr app for them where it will be a more controlled environment.

Old Clubhouse was way better. I have been on clubhouse since 2022… I use to be on it every day all day.. not anymore though. I had a network for friends and people I didn’t know having rooms with real conversations and entertainment… now there is only voicemails.. random people trying to talk to you about whatever.. that gives me the creeps.. I feel like I’m being stalked.. so I don’t even open or start a conversation anymore because anyone can see it and if I want to talk to my friends I’m just calling them now on the regular telephone. Self righteous. This app seemed really cool at first with the mass attention from different celebrities touting it as a conversation sanctuary. It was kinda like that within some circles but at this point point is filled with mostly self righteous types where the grouping very quickly becomes racial/ ethnic group separation, or speed dating and “smash or pass,” and such simply on the main page. I was hoping for more thought and to be fair I did find that but there was never sparing when it came to different ideas no wanted to step on any toes which was honestly kinda boring. I was hoping for a place of intellectual thought and it was so close to being that but after a few months it dissipated. It was kind of a “ fad “ and it’s time seems to have passed.

a super safe place for black people(for now) to network and talk about important issues. this app is phenomenal and as of this moment i’m tying the review, this app is 95% black people which as a black person i love! but even if you’re not black you can still meet tons of great people to have amazing conversations and networking sessions with! Tons of famous people come on here and you can be able to talk more directly to them than you could on twitter and it’s great for advice or just a regular conversation. now is the best time to join the app before they let EVERYONE get on and it becomes a circus lol

Love the platform. I really love the platform. Just a few suggestions...in order to maximize my time, I would suggest adding categories to add when moderators set up a meeting. That way I can go to the category I’m searching for. Right now I have to scroll through every meeting. Time consuming. Add a function where the moderator can notify people who attended one of their meetings about the next meeting. Lastly, the notifications feature on the app, streamline. It’s all over. Organize it from newest to oldest or in groups from newest to oldest. Just some suggestions. I really love the app.

Perfect idea in an yet to be perfect app!. Personally enjoy listening to others brainstorming over a subject or concept, specially mature ones. The app though has a serious battery draining problem! Use it for an hour or two and your looking for your charger for sure. User interface is deliberately simplified to make it easy for everyone to get to know their way around. Could use additional buttons and functions like placing icons for rooms and grouping the rooms by subject/alphabetical order on main page instead of current one after another sorting system it has with no order at all. Also could use filtering to filter out rooms with languages one doesn’t know.

Let ME JUST Say 5 STARS. This is the way a social media app should run I don’t have to deal with idiots on Facebook Instagram I have everything I need !!! I don’t have to get judged I don’t have to feel like people are ignoring my messages whenever I try and talk to them it’s amazing !!! OH MY god !!! 😮 whoever made this all praises to them because they integrated a social media platform that doesn’t require ads it doesn’t make you feel like you are stupid because you don’t have an education it’s amazing I don’t even know what to say 😭😭😭

Clickbait talk radio. FOMO your life away.. App continues to improve but the content is hit or miss. Most of the clubhouse sessions that I've joined have wasted the first 10-15 minutes introducing the panel members. That's a great way to bore audience members and have them not pay attention and leave. The few interesting sessions for me are in other time zones and cannot be replayed when I have time to listen. Clubhouse is just hoping to get you sucked in to constant listening for FOMO. Moderators sometimes clueless, witness the recent antisemitic comments incident with an (allegedly) famous actor moderating (I’d honestly never heard of him until the incident was reported elsewhere). Once I accidentally wound up in one session that featured anti-white prejudice expressed verbally. I’m done with clubhouse.

my one complaint. I dont like that anyone who has my number can find me on the app without my consent. if I blocked someone on my phone for safety reasons it feels compromising that if they join clubhouse they can immediately find me. and the block option only keeps them out of rooms where i’m on stage. that simply isn't enough. there is an option for me to dis/connect my address book but they need an option dis/allow my contacts to find me and we should be able to toggle the option as we please. again, this is a safety concern as someone who has been stalked and harassed via phone, and I know for certain i am not the only one. Thank you!

What The World Needs Now. The Club House App. Has been such a God send to me! It is a place where like minded people can get together and discuss ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in a safe zone of respect. I appreciate this app so much for helping me navigate and better understand my feeling and my emotions. By entering clubs and talking with its members, I’ve opened up so much. By being able to speak and listen on these platforms is such an honor each time and leaves me with sense of accomplishment I wasn't getting in therapy. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much to the creators for literally Blessing the Earth with this App. Thank you!

Absolutely Love !!!. I believe Clubhouse is a great concept. especially for people in creative fields, business owners, entrepreneurs,etc. You can drop in on conversations but also network with people and exchange ideas, possibly come up on an opportunity you never know. I would like to see if possible as conversations are engaging if as: 1. A group there was a chat box where if anyone had any links they wanted to add you can type them there. 2. If the moderator / speaker wanted to show the group a video that’s relevant to the conversation sort of like Netflix/Disney Plus Group Watch.

the WAVE thing…. Ok…the wave thing is useless. We already have messages on Clubhouse. If we wanna ask, there are so many ways we can do that; it is just significantly extra. People in Clubhouse should have DISTANCE, and Clubhouse team shouldn’t make this app TOO INTIMACY. It’s a voice chat app, not a dating app or a messaging app. Like we talked several times, and we are already BFF? Or should I give all my personal information to you because we have been in the same room talking for a month? And I should answer every question from “my friend” about who I am, where I live, or even I am single or not… Yes, we can meet friends through this app, but too many unnecessary interactions between strangers and “Friends” it’s too much.

The top social network EVER!. Clubhouse is intricately what I believe to be the top social network EVER designed. Because of the verbal communication [which allows people to connect and speak their voice] I foresee this being more valuable than any other social media platform existing. People that want to be heard can speak AND be spoken to. Where as other platforms there is only verbal communication one way. With Clubhouse, those who are respected are invited and as it grows people will continue to grow socially and communicate more efficiently. Clubhouse, we know this will be an Excellent APP FOREVER! Clubhouse rocks. I am so excited to be a part of this platform where you meet people world wide. It is a place and a space where all sorts of walks of life come together for their particular common cause. I have been on since February and have met some very interesting people both positive and negative. I strayed from the negativity and flowed with the positivity. Went downhill. Your September 6 update was a major bugaboo you killed a great app with all the changes you brought in. if you brought back the ability to see your friends at the top of the screen and join the room they are in plus the old formats in the hallway plus the ability to text somebody privately plus the ability to swipe to get into a live room text chat it would help. these are major features that you took away. it would be really good if you could implement the ability to rotate the app for those people who have screens that are not working properly, this would be a great improvement. Of course everyone is upset with the privacy policy and TOS changes.

Mute all button for moderator. This is an amazing concept, like an interactive podcast. It allows networking with well known professionals to underground/upcoming creatives. It's a great thing but can sometimes get overwhelming. I think If there are easy access buttons for moderator such as mute all, mute multiple at once and mute rows. Second, easy access for speakers such as step down, and also a secondary raise hand button for speakers or an ability to signal to moderator something. The hand raise option is not available for speakers, but only for audience members who want to speak. That I think should extend to speakers, it will make moderating easier. We should have an availability to block/hide rooms from our home page.

I can’t log back in to my account. One thing that is upsetting me when I tried to log back in my account somebody hacked suspended my account for no reason I don’t understand how come everybody else can get in their account and I can’t get into mine even when I tried to sign up with a different number it’s still not letting me back into my account that’s weird y’all need to do something about that. I miss talking to my friends and hanging out with my friends in a social room open room

A verbal high!. So...I’m new to the platform and as an entertainment publicist, I love the networking opportunities and more. I do have a few suggestions, in fact, they’re some of the same other reviewers have mentioned. For instance, making the speakers in a room stand out more, being able to send a message, and also a better way to add my IG account. I run several pages and I tried to add my main account, yet it pulled up another even with my password. Now, it seems like each time I try again, it still pulls up another account. If this got fixed along with the other things I believe would enhance someone’s experience, I’ll definitely come back and give it 5-stars.

Blocking. I suggest you guys when someone is blocked , she should enter the room as a listener at least. Being aware of blocking situation between a listener and speaker, mods should also have a right to give someone mic at least the those who are not blocked by mods. Otherwise, they move all the speakers down to listeners section to have one as speaker who is blocked by someone usually hiding his/ her decision. This may not happen everywhere but in my country most people use blocking as like unfollow that makes impossible to figure out such issues in crowded rooms.

Lots of room for improvement but amazing.. Honestly I have already had so many enriching experiences, educational experiences, great connections... but I’m confused at HOW I find a chat that is apparently open? I see lots of people on other social channels advertising their talks and encouraging you to join but I can’t find them. Why aren’t they listed on the user profile who is hosting and moderating them? Also, the “upcoming for you” section is just about always garbage. I have no idea how this is recommended for me but I’ll assume this app still needs some help with algorithms and I’m sure it will improve as the app is updated and improved. It would just be nice for it to be more curated, intuitive, and an in-app walkthrough would be chill.

Very Accessible to the Blind!!!. So glad that for the first time a social platform cares about the accessibility for us the blind, and that you took the time to label almost everything and we can navagate this app easily. I give it a 95% on the accessibility. The button to schedule a new even is not labeled and some issues on the buddy list. I am bilingual English?Spanish so navagating with apple’s screen reader, VoiceOver is very easy, however, my blind people who don’t speak English are having difficulty or a little resistant to use it. Great that we can offer rooms where we can translate and help them on the translation and they can enjoy this amazing app. Thanks for practicing INcLUsION!! “INclusion Above All!”
