why bother. i sent the secret santa by emails. at first didn't get it but then told everyone to wait 20 minutes and still didn't get it and i probably will never get it. the emails never sent out so why even bother telling the people that they will send sincerely, disappointed

not worth the time. can’t send it through texts w/out paying. i’d rather stick w/writing down names & picking from them.

Not as expected. It gave me the option of entering either an email or number for only one participant, so I went ahead and paid the $2.99 for Pro, but then it only allowed the emails and not the contact numbers. I would like my refund.

Second Year using this app. The design is super easy to navigate love the option to send text or email.

Didn’t work. I have went through the pains of adding my names twice and that’s as far as it will let me get because it brings up an ad, which I sat through both times then it won’t let me close the screen. The X at the top of the screen is not selectable.

Great App. I love the simplicity of it. You create your event, add names and emails, tap on the pairs of people that can’t get each other, and send it out. It worked out great! My only critique is that it would be nice to be able to resend the emails and check the email addresses to make sure you sent them out correctly. I had a bit of an issue with this. My brother-in-law said he didn’t receive his email and I had no way of checking if I sent it to the correct email address and I also couldn’t resend it. I didn’t want to see who got who, so I had to contact the creator of the app, which was quick and easy. Jeremie was very nice and fixed the problem in a timely manner. Overall, great, simple app!

Didn’t work. Only sent 2 of 10 emails out. Waste of my time. Wants you to pay to use almost everything. The free option didn’t even work.

Can add a lot of people. I tested it & it can hold 20 people, most likely more but I just went up to 20. The bonus is you can put multiple restrictions on who gets who if you don’t want couples to be matched up for example. You can choose to send by email or do a live secret Santa. Only complaint is that on the live secret Santa it doesn’t exactly tell you who’s next. I also hope it has a texting option in the future

Paywall. You will hit a paywall before you get anything from it. Even basic functionality is blocked.

Spam central. I used this before for secret Santa and it worked great, but now they’re wanting to upsell at ever opportunity. Plus, the “free” option to use email (vice paying for text, WhatsApp & other channels) didn’t actually reveal the names 😑. Never again.

Cannot be used without a $4 purchase.. This should just be a paid app instead of wasting people’s time.

Great the first time I used it. We used it last year and it was free. Now you can only send through email for free, sms you need to pay for “premium”. Why can’t y’all just put an add there or something.

Horrible Don’t pay a dime. Paying for the SMS feature is totally pointless because it sends from your phone. Secret Santa is suppose to be SECRET and the only to delete the text would be to delete the entire conversation. Frankly I don’t want to delete all my messages just because of Secret Santa.

Clean and Simple. It’s straightforward and allows you to avoid gift pairings between specific people.

don’t buy.. upsetting. did not give everyone a gift. gave someone the same name as another person. don’t get a this app.

To make it better. There was no prompting to input gift ideas.

This app doesn’t send emails to everyone. Ok so for the most part it sends them to the people but two people said they didn’t get any emails even tho they were included when in the generating names happened. So I did it all over again and two emails were sent from my phone so now it looks like I was sending them out not the app

Not what I needed. You have to pay for the text feature, and even then it just sends a text from your phone, meaning all of the surprises are spoiled for you.

Buggy.. I didn’t get to send the email because after adding all the emails and contacts and wrote the message, there’s no way to hide the keyboard and continue to the last step. And then I closed the app and opened it again there was nothing saved. The Live mode was fun though. Too bad it’s not “Secret”

My review. Why people got to pay just to add more than 2 people , y’all supposed to help us with “secret Santa “. y’all worrying about y’all own app getting the money but barley helping us

Just Easy. This is easy and you can’t second guess or switch the matches though you can select who shouldn’t be matched. It’s you get who you get and you don’t get upset. And you can’t be accused of rigging it. 💋

Would recommend. Easy to use! The only fault I found was when it asks to select each person to send their message I would have to quit the app and go back in after each message sent. There didn't seem a way to just send all the messages with one button. Was fine for me with only 8 people but would be a big hassle for a large group. Other then that I got it organised in 5 minutes and loved that it uses text messages instead of emails. And $1.50 is very fair.

Secret Santa is so much fun!. I have had to organise ‘Secret Santa’ events before without using an app, so am very grateful to my niece for the suggestion of using this app, it has made it so easy to organise! You can set the budget limit, the date, and just need all the participants email addresses (or can send SMS). It was very easy to use. Now the fun begins - the one thing the organiser has no control over is what presents the participants buy each other!! 🤣🧑‍🎄🎄

Terrible!. Paid to send via sms and everyone got the same person! Absolutely ridiculous and waste of my time

No Wish List function. I was disappointed when I discovered (after I’d paid & sent out the invitations) that this app doesn’t have a Wish List function. When you click on Gift Guide it’s just a link that takes you gift websites like Amazon. Other apps like this actually enable the invitees to upload a wish list to help their secret Santa choose something they actually want.

Waste of money. Don’t bother ... doesn’t work. Organiser had to tell everyone who they got, links did not work!

Rate it!. Quick and easy to use. Only cost $1.50 to get it going. I recommend it!

Don’t waste your time unless you’re buying premium. Wasted time putting in everyone’s emails etc, then it says watch an ad or buy premium so I wait for the ad to be finished just for it to stay stuck on that screen and not let me any further. Should be clear from the start it isn’t free

Lots of bugs. This app has lots of bugs.

Good & Bad. A good basic secret Santa name matching generator with no frills. Works well with SMS sending participants their randomly selected persons name. What’s missing is the ability to add your gift wish list, giving others an idea of what to shop for you. Just an idea!! Disappointed the developer did not honour the 50% discount as advertised. It’s a matter of principle, and not the $1.50 lost.

Cannot finish. Seems there is no submit button and also when I click through to read privacy policy there is no website operational anymore. I want my money back!!

Not working. App currently not working, kept saying it needed to be updated so I updated it and now you can’t even open the first page without it kicking you out straight away

Compatibility issues. I first bought this app and used in my iPhone6, but it just does not work on that phone anymore. The app requires the latest OS. Apart from that... it is a good app. That is why am using it 3 years in a row :-)

Do not Purchase this App. I downloaded a free one last year that included the option for each participants to send a message to their secret Santa of presents they would like to receive… very helpful. Innovative and FREE. This has the 1 option to download ANOTHER APP to help you pack your luggage for a trip (useless) and another option which links you to Amazon (useless) This App is SUPER BASIC. You can’t even edit contacts once entered. NOT RECOMMEND! Additionally the only way I was able to leave a review was if I have the app 3 or more stars alternatively it tells me my name is invalid! Very dishonest.
