Makes packing quicker. 5/3/21 Edit: I’m still using Packr and I’m still happy, however there’s one thing Packr does that I wish would change - Packr deletes old lists, so users have to redo any lists for trips that you go the same place and same time of year... and there’s no archive for those old trips. It’s a minor point, but it’s happened a couple times... I hate repeating work I’ve already done. Original post: always have to take the time to make a list of what my minimum needs are for the weekend, take the chance I will omit something from my list and then I misplace the paper list. That won’t happen with Packr. It’s on my phone and accessible. I skip through what I don’t need, get what I need - and I’m on my way, confident and free of worry I have forgotten something. knowing. Great app!. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I tried different apps before but this one is the best I have ever had. It has pre-made lists but you can make your own. I paid 1.99 and it was the cheapest piece of mind I ever bought. I am traveling right now and for the first time in my life I don’t have to rush to the store to buy this and that! How cool is this? Thank you. Great, great, great app!

What are the notifications for?. I appreciate the bulk of this app. It works well as a travel checklist and looks clean. But I cannot for the life of me figure out what the notifications are for. As I have approached my trip, each day it has thrown up a number (badge) indicating some sort of notification is ready. I open the app and the item is no where to be found. It’s like a little attempt to just get you to open the app I guess. So I turned off the notifications. So much for a potentially useful feature. The other thing I dislike is how this syncs. You have to email the other device so it “syncs”. There is no automated syncing.

Ok for free. Very basic packing list. It is good to include power adapters, health insurance card, but neglects things like an umbrella, hat and jacket and small scissors. Also …for a long trip it suggested 15 shirts …which is ridiculous. I take no more than 5 shirts even if going for months. Clothes can be washed. I don’t see any reason to pay for this app. It’s ok I suppose if you don’t already have a packing list of your own. There are many better packing lists for free on websites.

100% best app ever. It’s so perfect! All you have to do is say where and when you’re going and your gender and it makes the most perfect and accurate checklist for you along with the weather for your place of travel at that time. It even gives you a reminder of when your plane is leaving and when you should leave if you’re driving. It’s so awesome. And if you don’t need something on the checklist or you think you need something else you can add and delete things. This app is perfect and I 100% recommend it!

Love this app. This app is amazing it will do the list and all you have to do is put it in your suitcase it is very organized and you won’t have to worry about forgetting it or packing it twice because you can just check it off like a to do list I highly recommend this app for packing

App is nice but buggy. I’m using the paid version which should be quick and easy to enter, change, edit or move items among lists as you’re creating lists. Items added to lists cannot be changed or edited, you have to delete the item and re- enter which is frustrating. Would also be nice if you could cut and paste items from one list to another, like other packing list apps.

Great Guide for a Heavy Packer. I am a very heavy packer. Though I’m still this way, this app has helped me improve greatly. It’s very cool how it tells you the number of things to bring like socks, and shirts, gives you the ability to add things and tailors needs to the weather forecast…which it also has. It’s been 5-Starts since I bought it and has continued to be with updated and new features added

Super helpful tool. This app makes it so easy to put together a list for packing. As someone who struggles to stay organized, this app helps so much with providing suggested items per planned activity. SO much better than trying to make sure I think of everything on my own. I undoubtedly will either forget something or overpack planning it on my own.

Packing app of my dream. Since I bought my first iPhone I was trying to find a good packing app. I tried over five different solutions. Some of them even used AI and even asked a permission to read my email. Other then that it was quite painful to use them on mobile device. A couple days ago I found Packr and it’s just perfect. It’s so simple but very useful. I love it.

Best packing list ever. This app is extremely helpful. It customizes your packing lists for the weather at your destination (and can update this). It also customizes it for your planned activities and duration of stay. It is a great way to make sure that you have what you need and don’t forget anything. it is by far the best list of this sort that I have encountered. The only small improvement I might suggest is for long trips on which you will be washing every few days, it would be helpful if you could specify the number of days between each washing so that the app knew what to recommend for packing. Nevertheless, it does a great job.

My favorite packing list. I have used Packr on iPhone and iPad for years. I did not realize there was a Mac app until recently so I downloaded it. I have tried different packing list apps and packing list methods over the years including a spreadsheet, Notes, a Word document, and other packing list apps. I even tried Macsparky's Reminders packing list idea. I always come back to Packr. Why have I tried other apps if I like Packr? Because I like to try new apps! But I will not stray again. Packr just works for me. I ike that I can make different lists for different needs for different trips and reuse them over and over. Thank you for a great app!

This app used to be a lifesaver but recent updates have made it frustrating to use. I really like this app and use it every time I go out of town. However, the most recent version of the app has me wanting to throw my phone at a wall. The two biggest issues are that when I have my list set to “only show unpacked items” it does not update as I check things off nor does it move checked items to the bottom so I constantly have to check and uncheck it. The second issue is that half the time I check an item off it opens the item to be edited which is beyond frustrating. Waiting to see if these issues get resolved soon but otherwise will probably go back to using the native notes app because I get too frustrated with this one.

Be less stressed!. This app is great. Before when I was packing I was always afraid I would forget something. Now I find the list provided is very good. I choose what I need and add items I may need that are not included. This is the second trip I’ve used this so I don’t need to make many changes. It’s easy to double check before you zip up your suitcase if you want.

No undo, no editing. I am constantly accidentally hitting an item and there is no way to undo it. Most apps allow you to shake the phone and it will undo your last action. I have to keep completed items visible and then sometimes I don’t know which one just clicked without my realizing it. Also, once you enter an item, you cannot edit it. As others have said, you have to delete it and re-enter it. I can live with the editing issue, but if there could just be an undo feature, I would give it a much higher rating.

Not intuitive enough. I really liked UPackIt and thought this was similar…before I started using it. I would like to Edit a line item without having to delete it and add a retyped version. Haven’t figured out how. Are there instructions someplace? And then when editing items, I’m in a list view for my specific trip and when I try to delete an item for that trip, it asks if I want to delete it for all future trips. What? No, I just want to delete it for this one trip.

Best app for packing. I purchased Packr Premium several years ago and absolutely love it. I had a problem when I deleted this app off of my iPad and thought I had lost all my lists, but the developer fixed it within a day. I use this app for all of my trips because I love the weather forecasts which help me know how to pack. I also have saved customized packing list for different activities like backpacking or international travel. I have recommended this app to several travel buddies who were green with envy when they saw all it could do. If you travel, it’s worth every penny.

Incredibly helpful for any kind of trip!. Packr Is incredibly helpful for both my business and personal trips. The editable (sub)lists make it extremely flexible and easy to personalize. Creating a new packing list for a specific trip just takes a couple of seconds. Very nice interface, and very easy to use. I’m never touching my spreadsheet packing list again!

Loooooooove this app!. This app is amazing! Whether you use the free version or pay for it. I used the free version for over a year and finally upgraded because I can’t live without it. I travel a lot for work and it makes packing so quick and easy. I was the person that always forgot something for a trip but haven’t since I started using Packr. It’s the most used app on my phone.

Easy to use. I was looking for an organizer I could use on my phone. I was creating my packing list in excel and it was good but not always practical and sometimes I missed items. I initially tried the free version and found it easy to use and I like the weather report for the destination too. After my first trip I upgraded to the paid version. The initial packing items it’s comes with pretty complete but I like being able to customize my list including activities packing list. Wish list it would be nice to rearrange items on my list.

Unusable - wasted time - disappointment. I created my trip, selected the categories and when I submitted to continue, it gave me the option to either pay $3/mo or $20/yr for premium or watch an ad. I opted for the ad, because I hadn’t gotten far enough into the app to know if I like it. The full screen, 10-second ad counted down but then it was done, the ad wouldn’t close! The little “x” was there in the top right corner but it didn’t work. I closed and relaunched the app twice, re-created the trip (because it wasn’t saved), and the same thing happened. I could have written out my entire packing list on paper in the time I wasted trying to make this app work. So disappointed.

Great app and works with Trip It!. I love this app, easy to use fairly easy to edit in the pro version. I would however agree with one of the other reviews. It would be nice for duplicate entries such as sunglasses, etc. to be checked off in multiple categories, this will enhance the flexibility and ease-of-use to the level. My workaround for the moment is to create a list of things I always take, essentials, which goes on every trip. Another nice feature would be for lists for each family member contained in a single app. Just an idea. I suggest the pro version, Customizable create your own lists etc.

Great when online but doesn’t work when in airplane mode w/o WiFi internet. Just starting to use this ‘app’ & realize it needs to be online to work. I understand some features like weather require this but it’d be nice for the app to work in airplane mode w/o an internet connection. Other travel apps I’ve used integrates travel info, packing lists & will work on & offline plus backup to iCloud. Multiple destination planning requires the $2 pro upgrade. Great looking, easy to use & add/edit lists but online requirement may be a problem.

A lifesaver for decision fatigue!. I’ve now used this app for years to ensure that I don’t forget anything for my trips. Unlike most apps, it functioned great unpaid, but paying the little bit for premium was worth it to me after I began using it for every little trip because I could customize my lists. I get easily overwhelmed when packing and this app has made it so much simpler!

Pretty great. This app is well designed and thought out. The ability to customize the existing lists as well as make your own is perfect. There are a few things that would make it a five star app for me: the ability to add notes to custom items, so they appear each time; the ability to identify custom items by gender; being able to filter a trip list by person, so I can view only my items; being able to set the number of items and recurring notes for items that are pre-populated to the default lists.

Initial Set-up is a Big Time Saver. After trying several trip and packing apps and being disappointed, I didn’t have high expectations for Packr. I downloaded it a week before a trip and the ready-made lists and intuitive suggestions that were easily editable made packing for my trip a breeze. I easily made a few edits to the standard lists and packing for my next trip was even easier. Using this app was the first time I packed perfectly for a trip - not too much, nothing missed, and used every single item I packed!

Best app for traveling. Easy to Use & Best App to keep up with the stuff I am packing. I like all the details you can add to make it even more easier to keep up with what you need or don’t need. I have always been the person who packs so much stuff that it takes away so much time from my vacation. We would always be late getting to our destination bc we have to go back through my stuff packed & taken things out of my bags so it would fit in our vehicle which is a SUV. I always want to make sure I have everything I need & my family needs for any & every situation or event that may come up. Using this app has kept me from overpacking!! I love it!

Ugh!. Update: After using this for a weekend trip, this may not be the app for me. It is extremely frustrating that every time I open the app, it prompts me for an update. However, the App Store does not have an update. But then all my lists keep getting put out of alphabetical order. This is annoying to find to check out and try to pack. Then items will be added to a person when creating a trip and it is not on the list that I have so where did it come from? I will be looking for about her app. ——————————————— I am searching for a good packing list. While this one is okay, it is frustrating. I have spent all day trying to load it up with our trips and it is just not user friendly. It is constantly putting my lists out of alphabetical order. So for me to sort it manually within each list and trip is just annoying. I also wish that I could easily remove a person from a trip and changing from multi-trip to single when duplicating a trip.

Paid version review: helpful and flexible. I first downloaded the free app, but since I had a multi-destination trip, I upgraded to the paid one. The feature that gives tips on things that I needed to check before going on vacation was quite handy. I liked the ability to modify the items and their numbers so I could keep track of what I had with me. I did not access the app much while I was on vacation, but I did use it for about a week before my trip to help me get organized without making a bunch of notes here and there.

The BEST✔️🌊. I used this for the first time before a beach trip. I downloaded it a week before and I would’ve forgotten almost half the stuff I need to pack! Luckily to this app got everything packed, without overpacking too! It had said the weather for there the day I downloaded it so I knew what to pack and what not! This app is so helpful and I 100% recommend this app! Definitely download for your next trip! I have a few suggestions tho: 1. Maybe like the day or two before add reminders to pack your stuff, and maybe even pack what you haven’t checked off the list yet! 2. If it’s an airport trip, add a place to write down fligt gates, times, and reminders. 3. Add ppl to your trip, I always go with me family, and they all have the app, but we always have to copy it onto each other’s phones to have the same thing! It would be a lot easier! Other than that I absolutely love this app! Trust me, you won’t regret downloading this app!

Amazing packing app. I was packing for Coachella and this made my life so much easier because I was dealing with a health problem that made me very uncomfortable and not feel like myself. A month or so in advance, I was brainstorming things I wanted to pack and had come up with a preliminary list. Then as I was packing for the few days before leaving for the trip, I was adding as I went. Finally I finished everything on my list and I didn’t know what else to bring. I had to sleep and then leave in 6 hours lol. It was great!! I didn’t forget anything. I really like the layout of this app. Sometimes it can get confusing with lists and removing stuff in lists it asks you if you want it removed forever, i just ignore them and it seems to work out fine since i dont really need to pack for trips that frequently. It works well for when you want an app that’s not your Notes or Reminders app

Very Adaptable, Intuitive, & Thought Through Details. You can upload your trip with dates and location, then it tells you the weather and even things to see. You are offered well-thought out options categorized lists of packing items. These are quickly and simply customizable, can even be duplicated to next trip. The whole app is very simple and intuitive. Highly recommended. Clearly the developer had customers in mind when creating this app. Thank you!

Good idea, mediocre execution. I really would like to like this app. It is founded on a good concept and some of the functionality is fine. But there are so many glitches, mostly in editing capabilities. Type in an item and then try to edit it. You can’t. You have to delete the item and then re-enter it. Create an activity/list and then try to edit or delete it. You can’t. When I wrote the developer, he sent instructions that did not work. Really people—if you want a class app, then fix the basics. Seems like you threw an app out there and then walked away from it.

Great App, but Glitchy. This is a great app for organizing for trips. I’m able to break down my packing lists into individual check off lists like camping, air travel, sundries etc… The only problem I’ve encountered is that the items on my lists keep rearranging on their own. So if I, for example, organize clothes by type (dress shirts, running shirts, polos, then jeans, slacks, shorts, etc…) this app will, at random, mix up my list to where shirts are mixed within longs socks and dress pants and shoes—just scattered all over the place. It’s not only frustrating, but counterproductive as well. *Note—I’ve reached out to them about this problem. Hopefully it’s fixed soon because I do, overall, like and want to keep this app.

!. * I JUST downloaded the app, I wanted to pre-plan, after looking over it was actually really helpful to be able to look over a list of things and pack from the items. I always rush out last minute and end up having to re buy everything so this app looks like it may come in handy.

Has some glitches. I really like this, but when i go to make new categories and such, sometimes it can be a bit glitchy. More specifically when i go to create a category, it will add to my list, then if I decide to delete it I go back and the list is still there... i try to go into reselecting the categories and it wont be there anymore but i wont be able to delete it from my list anymore. It just gets stuck there. Im having to just delete the whole trip and start over whenever that happens because of it. I don't mind making my own lists and categories... in fact i prefer it but the process can be long and detailed and as I go along eventually the app just gets glitchy as i go back and forth so much. Also i wish there were more icons for the categories. I couldnt really find a good icon for a makeup or beauty category... seems pretty limited.

Great for Business or Pleasure. This app is great, and it just keeps getting better. It works wonderful for multi city vacations or just quick getaways. One of my favorite features is saving customizable list. This allows me to have specialists for each of my trip needs, from camping in the mountains to water sports at the lake. Plus I can add my personalized photo to the top of the trip.

BFF DON’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT. I am probably one of the most disorganized people you’ve ever met. My friend always had to come over to help me pack because I could never figure out what to bring and always got distracted and ended up with 18 pairs of wool socks and no shirts for a 10-day beach trip. Enter Packr. It makes me a list without a lot of effort: I just tell it where and when I’m going and it does the rest! My friend has had a vacation from group packing and I show up places with things I need (mostly). Seriously the best.

Limited Categories?. I really like the ease of the app, the way you can select accommodations/activities etc to make your list. But I am finding it hard to work with the categories/activities that you have. There is no food list to use (which would go along with several of the accommodations including camping). I also need to pack for a child - clothes, toys, bedding etc and I'm ending up trying to mash up the adult and the baby to make it work. If I were to go premium could I add my own categories and have them be able to be used later in other lists? Is there a future thought to adding more categories and items? Thank you

Great App!. I use this app all the time! It’s user-friendly...it pretty much creates my lists for me. The weather updates within the app, so I don’t have to take the time to go look it up on my own. Everything I need is right there in the app! I’m also able to share my lists with others. I can’t think of anything that this app lacks related to making a packing list for travel. I highly recommend this!!

iap marketing scam. While I believe this is a 5 Star app I also believe the developer should be called out for scamming marketing tactics. When you first go to setting in this app you’ll see it counting down 24 hours setting you can get the premium app for half off at $1.99. However if you look the developer already sells a paid up front version of the premium app for $1.99 and it makes no mention of being half off for a limited time.

Custom pictures for trips broken. When reading through reviews this looks like an long existing issue for the app. If the feature doesn’t work it ought to be removed and colors or other types of labels used to quickly separate trips visually on the main screen. Most other options seem to work reliably. I do like the pre-loaded lists based upon activity. It’s this feature that drew me to this category of apps (otherwise a simple list in the notes app would work). For an upcoming family trip I’ll try out the sharing features. To see if this works as well as other list apps (for shopping we use Anylist)

Requires internet connection. I’ve never written a review for an app. This is the first time because I am so annoyed. I’m at the airport and open the app on my iPad to review my packing list. Guess what? I can’t even review the packing list for my trip because my iPad is not connected to the internet. I simply wanted to take a look for peace of mind, but I can’t even though nothing I want to do requires internet connection. I don’t care if the weather is not updated, I just want to see the packing list. I can’t review my own list simply because it can’t be shared with the developer at the same time? I paid to customize this app. Apparently my payment isn’t enough, developer also needs constant access to sell my data. Deleting immediately.

Love this app!. Love this app! I used a previous app for packing and really liked it but it wasn’t available on iOS 10. I found this one and since it was free, I decided to try it. This app comes with a packing list already set up (I had to create one on previous app). You can edit the list and add items to it. You can organize it any way you want. This app also shows the current weather conditions and future forecasts for your travel destination. Very pleased with it! It’s a must have!

The app I didn’t know I needed. This app is amazing!! It’s been an incredible resource when planning for vacation. I love being able to select multiple destinations and monitor the weather at each destination. The recommended packing lists are SO helpful. There were items I had not even considered that I really needed. Worth every cent!

I love this app! Takes the stress out of packing. I travel a lot and despite that I’m horrible at packing - it takes me forever and I almost always forget something and it stresses me out. This app is perfect - I get the list ready when I have time, it suggests everything, I just have to adjust the list here and there. Must have if you’re not a naturally organized person!

Organization for the disorganized. Really like this app. I’m a last minute packer and find myself running around all the time. Downloaded this app to try it out and I was fully prepared and ready to go within an hour and feel more than prepared for my trip. Great additions providing travel restrictions and requirements into it too, as well as the weather.

Love the fact I can customize-big bonus for owning the full app. I purchased the premium app on my iPad & downloaded the app on my phone. Just couldn’t get my phone app to acknowledged that I had purchased it. Quick email to the creators & they responded quickly with an easy explanation of how to solve my problem. Thank you. Now ready to work from either iPhone or iPad.

Great resource. I love this app for packing lists. I have used TripIt for a couple years for keeping track of travel info. This works well with that to help me prep and pack for those trips. I’m he suggested lists consider weather and what I will be doing (after I make selections) to make the list very practical. I can also add my own notes and modify the list as I see fit. I also love the ability to share a list. I’m his has been helpful for my husband and me as we can just check that app and make updates (instead of assuming the other grabbed it or grabbing double.) The only addition that would have been helpful for this trip is a section for pets. I could be similar to the section for babies, but including things like food, leash, crate, meds, etc. would be super helpful for those of us who have pets but don’t always travel with them.

This app is amazing!. By the way I write this review I’m going to seem like a bit but, but I can assure you I am not, I just love this app so much!! There are in app purchases (as most apps have) however, unlike other apps, these purchase choices don’t get in the way. You don’t NEED them to use the app. I’m going on a trip soon and this is the first time i’ve used this app to plan my packing. Now, after using it for just one trip, I know i’ll be using it for every trip from now on. It suggests things that you may need to bring on your trip. This is very helpful because I usually forget so much stuff or I don’t know what to bring. They also look at the weather for what days your going and help pick clothes accordingly.

Difficult and unnecessary. This app helped me realise I don’t need an app like this. I paid to edit lists and can’t. You delete something and it comes right back. You edit a name and it doesn’t change. As others described, it’s clunky and difficult to use. It was quicker to pack than create a list. In the end I went back to the checklist I have in Apple notes and wondered why I ever thought I needed something else.

Could be perfect with some changes. Things I like: the photo of the destination, distance from me, weather, date picker (intuitive and fast), to do list, simplicity of choosing activities by selecting icons, works well on iPad and iPhone, lists are easily editable. Things I don’t like: no option for packing light / doing laundry while away (I don’t need 7 pairs of socks for a 7 day trip), items deleted from the main lists aren’t really deleted; they reappear the next time that list is used, even after selecting delete in the main lists. Changing quantities of items is clunky, and difficult to select; it’s too easy to accidentally mark an item as packed when I really just want to change the quantity. Apparently with this update we can now save lists to be used again, but I can’t see how to do that. It might be good to have a screen appear when the app is started up after an update, explaining the new features.

Love this app, takes out any stress of packing.. I love this app, have used it now for many trips and add items if necessary while away so they are there next trip making the list better and better. So much more relaxed now knowing I have ticked off and thought of everything before heading off rather than worrying I have forgotten something. Multiple lists that I can now duplicate for new trips based on duration and or location. Love the custom pictures for each trip although I seem to have to reset them regularly for some reason, maybe after opening the list on a different device? Not sure but simple for me to fix when needed. I highly recommend this app for people like me that stress about forgetting things.

Needs work!. The idea is great and I love the personalisation features but when I had already made a trip list on one device then paid to be able to sync, it had to delete the trip I already started making... which was the whole reason I wanted to sync 🙄 not cool.

Cruising must. The App copes really well with an Around Australia Cruise. Love it 🤗

It isn’t what I was looking for.. I was expecting it to give me an idea of quantities of clothes needed for 5 week trip. It doesn’t do this from what I can see.

AWESOME APP!!!!!. This app is perfect and I would recommend it to anyone who travels a lot for work, for school trips if you're still in school, camping trips and many more. If you're going on a trip and you're not sure what to pack then this app is very helpful, I would recommend this to anyone from young to old.

Very poor support. Great app but a number of issues. Have emailed support twice in last week and never received a response. For this reason I would think about if you want to pay for it. Disappointed

Packr Ensures I Never Overlook a Thing. Traveling often for my photography, I find Packr great for checking off all my kit. Great optics, with a user-friendly interface as well.

Packr/TripIt connection doesn’t work if your signed up with Apple. I was offered the option to connect to TripIt which is amazingly helpful, but I signed into TripIt using my Apple ID and Packr won’t allow me to do the same… it’s asking me for a username and password which I don’t have??

Glitchy app. Free edition shows ads, I watch them both. The ‘x’ in the top corner is hidden behind my battery display, therefore unreachable. Cannot turn the screen orientation to reach it. Stuck over and over again. Closed and opened the app to the same thing. Feels like it is forcing you to pay for Premium. I would rather you make it a paid app than con people into watching ads with unreachable prompts to the next steps. Used to use this ad and have recommended all of my friends this app over the years but would rather move onto another app

Needs obvious improvement. I started using this app and thought it was perfect. I was very wrong. Reading through previous reviews, which I should have done before spending $6, there are obvious flaws that need fixing to make it even slightly functional. Every team on my lists appear 3 times?! Nothing seems to have improved in 4 years lol. Don’t download it.

Fabulous app however Deleted items keep reappearing.. I notice that people have been complaining about deleted items reappearing and you mention it has been repaired yet as of today Jan 6 2020 this is still a problem. Along with edited items just go back to what they were. Also I am up to date with my updates. I am hoping you take note of this review as I absolutely love this app and don’t want to have to find another. Once this is fixed I will definitely give it a five star review, but not yet.

Very helpful. If you are a last minute packer this is really helpful, I like that you can change and fine tune as you go along!

Long term trips not catered - 15?Bras?. Going away for 3 months and doesn’t seem to take that into account. Suggests 15 bras and then when you have a look, gives you bizarre color choices. Definitely designed by men. Also, tells you the temp now but not in July when you are actually there. Not helpful. Hoping it would help design packaging for cool weather (spring) and then summer. Very simple app - feels like it was created in the 1990s. Because it is a multiple trip, made me pay up front. Thought it worthwhile investment but it’s not. If you want to try it, break up your destinations to single trips before committing your money.

Nice graphics. I like that it includes weather of the destination. It was a bit tricky to select the trip dates when it spans over a month. Also cannot customise the list with the free version.

Not too bad. A pretty solid packing app, but I am having a few problems with removed items showing up again when the list is re-opened. But I really like how it shows the weather and has suggested items, but doesn’t take the option to add things yourself! Would be a lot better if we had an option to add notes to each item if needed :)

OK, but needs work.. Not a bad app, a clean design albeit fairly bland, it is not intuitive, and is quite basic with only limited customisation in the free version. Setting a spread of dates for my trip was awkward and I had to ask the programmer how to do it before I could work it out. Clunky. Would have been much better to have a START TRIP and FINISH TRIP boxes, or the sort of date setter Apple uses on their calendars, with those rotating wheel thingies. Next, having entered the destination and dates of my trip (I'm going to New York in October-November) the app appears to be pulling current weather data for August, when it is 28C and warm, and making clothing suggestions based on current mid-summer in New York. Who needs bathing trunks during a New York winter? Next, the pack list only allows for one person so you cannot use it to pack for a couple. When I wrote the first draft of this review you only had a choice of male or female packers, but the developer has since responded and now offers a gender-neutral option. So he is certainly open to suggested updates - well done! Lastly, you cannot customise the packing lists unless you buy the upgrade. To summarise, the app works but is quite basic and i think it is still a work-in-progress. There are other free packing-list apps which offer more features, but check back from time to time as the developer seems keen to keep working on it and improving it based on suggestions from the users. Give him a go.

Everything that’s wrong with the app economy. Non-paid version had ads. Sure, I’ll watch an ad and use the app once or twice to see if it’s any good, then l’ll pay for it. Nope. It’s literally a hellscape of ads crowding on top of ads. Watch the video and there are three other ads on top that you can’t get rid of. The worst. Don’t bother.

Sync issues. It’s very annoying and ineffective... Deleted items keep re appearing, the user gender changes randomly and sync between devices is a nightmare... surely these are not difficult to fix!?

Great concept, BUT lacks some basic features. I was really looking forward to this app. I have been using Packing Pro, but found it clunky. This app has a better overall design, as it allows you to build essentially mini lists that you select to combine for an overall trip. Great concept. Challenges: Reordering the mini lists is difficult, is not consistent, and comes out with toiletries as the first item when you go to print a list. I would prefer travel planning first, if you get my drift. There is no ability to choose the order of printing, or the number of columns. My wife likes a physical printout. With a single column, the list is a complete waste of paper.

Doesn’t work offline. I paid for the premium version of this app and I can’t believe that it doesn’t work offline. You can’t view your lists at all when you’re in a location of no service. I was using this for a camping trip and got to my final location out of cell internet range to find out that I couldn’t use the list to repack and make sure I had everything. Please make this a feature.

Printed packing lists inaccurate. Disappointed in the list that is printed out. It includes all the items that were taken off the list, does not distinguish them from the remaining items and is all mixed up. Must be a bug in the program.

Multi destination trips don’t save. I paid for the premium services but every time I try and add a multi destination trip it doesn’t save. Very frustrating to use.

I paid for premium b/c it’s a great app. The free version is great. No ads, all essential settings present, and fast. Weather integration is great too. I paid for premium just to show my appreciation! Truly a great app. Keep up the good work!

Love being able to do multiple people, missing one thing. I love that I can do multiple people in this unlike other apps. It makes it easier to customize for each person. The one thing I have noticed it is missing is the ability to say you have access to laundry which reduces the number of clothing articles you have to pack. Overall it’s a great app.

Packing suggestions. When traveling I am very organized and make a list a month before of everything I plan to bring. The list suggestions on Parkr was almost identical to my list. Great to know that I am not overdoing my packing.😄

Could not edit out items that I did not select. Very basic. Also annoying that the app added items I did not want on the list and which could not be “edited” out. So I guess it’s back to the App Store I go...

A godsend!. I’ve always wanted an app like this. For a person who travels multiple times in a year for business and leisure—and a forgetful one for that matter—this app is a godsend!

Not Much Use. You may as well use a pencil and paper. The packing lists are so unrealistic that it wastes time, not saves time. The interface is okay so it’s not completely useless. Maybe it will improve.

Very good packing app. It prevents you from forgetting or losing your stuff, and plus, instead of writing it on a piece of paper, you can save the planet and have it written on your phone. It’s that simple, and you don’t have to write it, just edit it.

Trips keep auto deleting. I have spent a lot of time making a trip specific list only for the app to randomly delete my trips. This is incredibly frustrating and defeats the whole purpose of having a list to keep from forgetting things.

Horrible AD experience, keep away!. This app USED to be good until it became bloatware. I got spammed with 4 different kind of ads in one minute. That’s not how you go about encouraging people to go Premium. This is basically bullying. Instant DELETE. Shame on you, devs.

It’s so great. This app is so great for travellers! It reminds you the day before your trip, there’s a setting on the app where you can um mark everything so on the day you go home you can mark off items when you pack them. It has everything and more. I would definitely recommend this app to my friends and family.

Glaring bugs.. Glaringly obvious bugs tell me that these developers aren’t even testing the app before it ships. The functionality required for this app isn’t even complex! Such a waste.

Like the hotel where we going or something because it’s kind of annoying to see picture change and it happen to me 2 time that I enter something on the wrong travel just because of picture changing . Lists keep resetting. We paid for the app because the lists kept resetting and we thought it would help. Didn’t help, the lists still reset and they share then reset. So frustrating.

What happened?. Used to be really nice, and you could repeat trips and reuse your lists. However I haven’t used it for a while, and just tried to use it for a new trip and found that everything changed and all my carefully created lists from previous trips have disappeared :( I upgraded hoping I would get them back, but they are still missing.

Best List App EVER!!!. This app thinks of everything. You tell it where you’re going and for how long and it gives you the most thoughtful packing list ever. It thinks of every single thing you may need for your trip! I highly recommend it!!

Packing anxiety is gone!!!. Always packed and re-packed and fretted over what I was missing. Packed everything but the kitchen sink and forgot underwear one trip. Smh. This app is like therapy for packing anxiety. And a side bonus is I have a history of my trips!!!

Great app. You can add, remove, and check items as you think of them or pack them. It also provides you with categories and suggestions, which you can choose and edit at any point! This app is great for someone who likes to plan ahead so they don’t forget things

Wonderful!. This app is a huge game changer when it comes to trips! We travel to our second home very often and I almost always forget something! Very nice to have it out and organized for me digitally!!

Fatal flaws. This could be a good app but currently it has serious flaws that rule it out for any serious traveler: You can only choose 3 activities/packing categories at one time. Items you ‘permanently’ delete from packing list annoyingly reappear. Packing recommendations don’t change according to weather forecast. Sinking between devices causes annoying packing list item number changes. There is no way to instruct app to adjust for ‘carry-on luggage only’ trips. App mysteriously switches between male and female packing recommendations. All this makes the app a waste of time. I WANT A REFUND.

Just OK. I love packing lists so wanted to give this app a try. You have to pay $1.99 if you want to make permanent changes to customize your lists. Otherwise you have to create the list over each time. I have an excel spreadsheet for various types of trips that I'll go back to using. Sorry without being able customize it without paying is just not for me.

Shows promise, but not without flaws. Like the categories and the multi-destination feature (paid version). Surprised to see fundamentals missing, like being able to edit entries once created, move items from one category to another, or to apply due dates for the todo list.

So far, great app!. So far, I’ve been using this for a local 3 day road trip. I paid the $1.99 to upgrade for multi-destination ability as we are staying in 3 hotels over our 3 nights gone. This feature is really nice to have if you are moving around and not just in one place in the same trip.

Replaces an App that wont open. This App took about 10 minutes to understand which is amazing. So much better than my old one. Lists are easy to make and have check off bubbles. Set up my first trip check lists in no time. Having this on my phone is invaluable. Thanks for a great App!

Works great, solves issues fast. I downloaded this app and it didn’t work for me at first. I contacted support and had a fix within an hour, which is unheard of for me in past experiences. The app is great too!

Great simple app. Been using this for every trip for years. I always felt like I was forgetting something when I went on trips and this removes all of that anxiety. I figure as long as I have everything on my Packr list I’ll be fine.

Don’t buy this app. This app is very difficult to use, don’t waste your time or money, find another packing app that is more user friendly. Again, this app is a waste of time and money.

App needs work!!!. I paid for the upgraded subscription in hopes that it would be easier to customize my lists. When I try to remove things from the list it will not let me. Also when you try to set your trip time, it will not let me carry the trip into the next month. If there were a numbered date set it would be easier than dragging.

WOULDN’T PLAN ANY TRIP WITHOUT IT!!. Love how it looks up average weather for location during the time you’re there with updates sent to you as your travel date approaches; bases list on place, activities you plan and able to customize:-) Also, gives links to activities and ticket prices.

I love this app. I’m always eating for the last min to pack and I’m always thinking of specific things to bring depending on the country I’m traveling to. What I do wish is when you have duplicated items among activities, they only show up once once.

This great app has replaced my Printed Packing List!. I don’t have to waste paper & toner or have my laptop near to print the list anymore. I miss the paper in my hands so there is a little getting used to it. Best thing, it’s always with me. No searching for what room I last left the paper list in. 👍🏼

Don’t buy. Don’t buy! Stick with free version. I paid $3 and my custom picture option doesn’t work. I uploaded it and it does that boy when you click done it never saves it. Did that 4 times before giving up. So do yourself a favor and don’t buy it… Free version does great since that paid feature doesn’t work like it says it does…

Great for packing!. It makes the list for you, and all you have to do is set quantity and delete certain items. I didn’t buy premium because I don’t need it’s features, but it seems ok.

Use this all of the time!. I use this app for every trip I take! Perfectly organized and easy to use! The only reason I gave four stars is because the local attractions are not so local! A trip to the Bahamas brings me activities to do near Greece!

Must Have App. Excellent app that I use when going on trips both big and small. It is editable to your preference and covers every aspect of a trip. Definitely a must have app for any traveler. You will wonder how you made it all this time without it.

Not paying annually. I’ve been using this app for many years and I’ve been very happy. I only use it once or twice a year and it was free before. I don’t mind paying to keep the app but now it’s wanting me to pay $20 a year. I would be happy to pay $20 just to have the app forever but there’s no way I’m going to pay that every year.I’m very disappointed because I really liked this app

Does it work offline?. Maybe I missed it or just don’t know how to use all the functionality yet, but I tried several times to use it offline and it wouldn’t open. I gave it three stars because I’m not 100% sure I tried everything and don’t want to give it a low rating if it’s my fault. However, if you can’t use it offline then it deserves a lower rating.

Amazing app. I like this app 100%! You can do everything from telling the weather the days your on the trip, to adding and deleting items on your list. I recommend you guys get this app.

All the essentials and more. I’ve used this app to help me get ready for long motorcycle runs. I usually just get on the bike and go but there’s long trips you need to pack all the essentials and this app helps with that and more. I definitely recommend and will continue to use for years and trips to come.

Destinatination. How does a Packing/Travel app spell "destination" incorrectly? Guys. Come on. Also, it shouldn't be so hard to select dates on your calendars. Trying to select dates from one week into the following week doesn't work (at least for multi-destination trips). Had just purchased the premium version, would be cool if it was worth it 😒.

Non-functional without internet. The UI is pretty nice, but no dark mode. I just downloaded and was considering upgrading and going all-in with this app for my packing lists, but noticed the app is completely non-functional without an internet connection. You can’t view any of your trips or lists without a connection. For a travel-related app, you’d think offline support would be a P0 feature.

Good app. This is a really great and useful app, but I have some suggestions. I would really like it if you could have a better idea of what the weather is like instead of just adding new items on your list. Still, this is probably the best packing app I've ever used.

Helpful app but terrible to beg for reviews.. The “leave us a review” pop up came up way too often so that’s why I’m here. It wouldn’t allow you to dismiss it for good. I wish it would have just performed well instead of being so annoying with that pop up window. Then I would have reviewed it on my own. And probably given more stars.

Paid upgrade still sends marketing notifications! Boo.. This app is a decent enough packing list. Kinda buggy, UI could be better. But what’s unacceptable is that it sends marketing notifications even if you’ve paid to upgrade! There’s an option to disable notifications, but that presumably also disables the helpful “time to pack” notification. C’mon developer, marketing notifications are spammy trash. I’m asking for a refund.

Definitely helps with packing but.... I like the concept of Packr but one major flaw. I want it to automatically sync between my iPad and my iPhone. All my other apps automatically sync (icloud) but it appears this has to be manually synced every time you make a change. Very inefficient.

AMAZING. The app is so well organized and easy to use. You can easily add or remove items from the list they start you with. There are different categories for each type of object you might need to bring. You can adjust it to show all or only tasks left to do. I never leave reviews, but this was so perfect.

Outstanding. Probably the best packing list app I've used! This app has saved a ton of time with all of my traveling whether its business, sporting competitions, or pleasure. The premium version is definitely worth it based on customization abilities alone.

Consistent. I’ve been using this app for a few years, and it has performed well on a consistent basis. I do wish it wold remember my choice to “view unpacked items only” when I reopen the app, but overall it is very functional and helpful! I like being able to create my own custom activity lists.

Best I’ve come across.. This is the best app I’ve come across for packing lists for trips. My only complaint is I have to readjust all the numbers to take into account access to laundry facilities. If this app ever integrates that as a feature, it will be five stars and I’ll buy it. Until then, I’ll continue to use it as a guideline.

Tried others but this is the best. I’ve several other packing list apps and have settled on Packr. It just does packing lists and does it really well. I highly recommend it. Also their tech support is awesome.

Very good packing list. What makes this packing list so nifty is you can add or delete any items you like. Set any amount of trips. And it sends you a reminder (as if we could forget the date of our vacation), to start packing.

This is a *GREAT* app!. I’ve never used a packing list app that did so much of the work for me! It’s also infinitely customizable. I can’t even think of anything that I would like to add to it. I hate packing, but this made it easy to remember to do everything. Just finished an 11 day trip to Walt Disney World, and it worked perfectly! Thanks, developers! 🌹

About 3 years in. Great app. Been using it for years though only travel a few times a year. It's really easy and simple. Maybe a little too simple at times, but not worth any true disappointment. I did purchase the subscription and have no regrets in doing so.

Will not plan a trip without it. I love this app. I travel ALOT. it helps me know what I need to pack and what the weather will be so I pack accordingly. I would recommend this app to anyone and everyone. Especially if you travel as much as me 😊

Disappointing. Been a premium user for a while. Really wanted to love it because I travel for work a ton and need customized packing lists. This app has so many bugs and I am tired of items not showing up in lists I create, or reverting back to old lists after being updated. The idea is great but the execution is just not there.

Deleted after 5 minutes. I need to spend my time organizing my trip, not trying to decode how to work this app! Editing a list: As best as I could work out, you start with a generic list and from there remove ALL items you don’t need instead of selecting the items to be packed. Tapping on an item tells the app that you’ve packed it. So, if you don’t take the time to edit every single list, you have to scroll down a long list of unnecessary items. If you don’t pick the categories at the start you can’t add the after you e created your trip. Selecting gender made no difference in the packing lists. You’ll get bras, etc regardless of of your gender settings. This is a confusing and frustrating app that’s done nothing but waste my time. Deleted.

Buggy. The very first thing you do is select the timeframe of your trip, and the calendar you select from doesn’t work. You can’t select over months. For example, I have a trip from March 22 to April 1. I can’t have more than one page of the calendar open at a time, and I can’t select each day individually. There is actually no way around this, which is incredibly frustrating

Destination Date Issues.... Got this app for my trip to Europe and because of the local weather feature it has for the destinations I am going to. However, the dates of my destinations were somewhat messed up when I entered the dates with some series of question marks???...it looked like each destination date I entered was a day behind my actual date! Could you check it out? I will give this 3 stars due to this.

Great packing app. I’ve never used another tool, but this one has everything I need — pre-built lists, weather forecast and the ability to customize. Love it!

Pretty good. I find myself wishing it did more. I find it frustrating that if I make a spelling error I can’t edit the line item. You have to delete the item and add a new one. Also when you pay for additional functionality to creat your own list... you can in fact creat your own new list but you can’t actually use it. There is quite a few functionality flaws that make it frustrating.

Great packing app!. I downloaded this app awhile ago and have never had a reason to leave it. It’s a reliable app that I use for each and every trip. Always works for me.
