Cute Game. Cute game to play and has lots of potential. Too bad you get stuck all the time and your options are to continue after a video ad or restart- usually after another ad. Sometimes you can force your way through and the graphics get all screwy. I don’t have enough patience to spend with the game play and glitches.

Very few levels. I got this app and loved it... for 10 minutes until I beat every level available. The levels that are there are super fun and challenging especially those gators.

Everything Locked After Level 12??. First off, the game is great. It’s simple and from what I found quite easy. The graphics are adorable and the layout of everything is very neat and nice. But for some reason there’s only 12 levels. I don’t know if I have to pay for the other levels or if they just aren’t out of development yet, but they’re are levels there that are just locked. I got 3 stars on level 12 so I have no clue why the rest of the levels are locked.

Row Row too short. I love this game. It’s unique but, the problem I have with it is that there is not enough levels.. Only 20 and then it says “More on Facebook” but I clicked on that and it was trying to tell me to download a completely different game.. I just want more levels.🤷🏻‍♀️

Confused. One of my friends doesn’t have to get al 3 stars on each level for more levels to pop up but I do. There are 2 levels I can’t get all 3 stars on. Been stuck on them for days now, and I can move on. I’m stuck at level 17 because I don’t have all my stars on 17 and 15. Have 3 stars on other ones. My friend has 2 stars ok most of hers and she can keep on going. Is this just a bug?? Love the game, just confused

Very creative game. I don’t think I’ve ever played the game quite like this before I find it to be very creative. I played the game For a few hours and I would have to disagree with some of the other reviews, so the game is not perfect but it’s a game and games are made to not be perfect for if it was perfect nobody would play it. Some of the things that I am not crazy about are the graphics now granite these graphics are cartoonish and meant to be that way it’s just something I can’t get into. The controls are easy, and I get what the developer was looking for but it kinda feels sloppy. A kayak has some resistance on the water I know it’s not a sim and more fun cartoonish type of game. Lastly whats more irritating then anything is if you want to start over your forced to watch an add. ads,ads,ads look one at the bottom of the screen witch just ruins game play it’s distracting and annoying if anything move it to the top of the screen.

Fun. I like this game but there is a problem. Sometimes when I finish a level, even if its3 stars, the next one doesn’t show up and I have to restart the app or redo the level and then restart the app. If this could be fixed it would be perfect. Also more rafts would be cool

No back stroke. Super cute and would be endless fun but #1 there is no option to make game a little slower and #2 because it’s too fast you are constantly stuck and since there is only a forward stroke, unlike real kayaking , again you are constantly stuck and have to either restart or suffer through the same Royal Match ad. Could be a great game and moneymaker for the creators if not so frustrating.

Ads are longer than games. Just about time I start digging this game, ads overtake game time. A section takes 20-35sec and after a restart or successfully running a section an ad will pop up running as long as a section. Sad to forced away from a potentially great game. Kill half the ads and I’ll return.

I’m a whitewater kayaker... I hate saying that lol. I’ll be honest I really enjoy this game. I wish you could be able to boof, or throw some other tricks like freewheels, etc. Or getting hung up on a drop or hole because you boof it or if you weren’t lined up properly. Rolling your kayak would also be sick. I know that it’s just a game, and I know it’s not trying to be anything like the actual sport of kayaking. BUT I have yet to see a game developer come close to doing realistic extreme kayaking any kind of justice. With that said, I love your game either way and thank you for making it.

I Love It!!! But I have suggestions. I don’t want to be rude and say you need to change anything about you’re game. I really like it and have just recently gotten it! I think the little dance the kayaker does at the end is adorable btw. I noticed when I first got the app it was really easy to get coins and there was an ad I could watch to get 20 coins. I thought that was a lot, but hey I’m not complaining! For amount of boats and floats there was with the low price and ads for money seems kinda easy. My main suggestion though has to do with the character. I personally love him but, I feel weird saying this, but I’d love to be able to buy different outfits for him like tourist or adventurer ones. Just a thought. Also I think the graphics are amazing and beautiful! However there are TONS of ads and I know you need to advertise your sponsors or whatever but there’s so many! Another thing, maybe you should make an ad for your other games like that pogo stick one and the other one in the monkey, I’ve just been wondering how they work and all. Ok that’s it sorry it’s kinda long and this was my first review. Thanks for your amazing game!

Love it- one suggestion for now. If you could make it easier to spin a 180 by holding the paddle in the water that would be great! It’s just too hard in narrow rivers to get spun back forward and in real life it’s easy to do on a kayak. Thanks!

This ain’t a fake one. This game has great artwork and great gameplay. The game doesn’t spam you with ads every time you restart or move on. (other reviews say they do so maybe I’m just lucky) But the game is genuinely fun and with no pop ups forcing you to buy stuff and ads poping up at a rate you don’t even notice them. The developers did a good job with this one.

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨. I like the game but please make it so that when you’re going down a waterfall that the waves & the water volume increases or sounds louder so that it will sound more realistic and then go back to normal when you pass the waterfall.. I don’t mind the ads because I wouldn’t pay to remove them but I’m dropping a star because the game is too short The game is worth the effort to put in more levels Other than that great game 👍🏼👍🏼

Potential, but not there at all. The visuals are pretty and it’s a fun concept. However, it’s really annoying. I tried level one about 7 times and let my friend try it too, and it’s impossible to move further than a few meters. We always get stuck or end up moving backwards no matter what we do. Level one shouldn’t be this annoying and challenging.

Attention paddlers!!!. I think it’s unintended, but you can paddle back up into the whirlpools and do cartwheels, screwups, mystery moves and a bunch of other moves. And if you get a deep enough mystery move, you go into another dimension of sorts. Keeps me entertained for hours!

Hysterically wrong mechanics. The main mechanic of this game, the rowing is fundamentally wrong. When you row on the right side of your boat, your boat should turn left. In this game you turn right. Makes no sense. If you wanted to make it more intuitive, you could still turn right when pressing the right side of the screen but just make the paddler row on the left side.

Fun gameplay, unavoidable ads, few levels. The good: the gameplay's fun, challenging enough to reward skill but simple enough to pick up and play casually. The bad: there are very few levels and ads are really prevalent. The result: after playing a couple levels, I sprung to turn off ads ($1.99 in app purchase). About 15 minutes later, I'd finished all the levels. On top of that, many levels started off with a pop-up prompting me to watch a video ad -- even after I'd paid to turn ads off. If I could truly turn off ads and prompts, and if there were more levels to play, it'd be a 5-star game for me. As it is, it was a quick but ultimately frustrating use of a couple dollars.

👎🏻. The constant adds take away from the gameplay... the ads are so frequent and so exhausting I was forced to delete the app and never look back. I would have most likely paid for this game but the fact that the were are so aggressive with ads I decided to just delete the game instead 🤷‍♂️.

Really fun... but... While I do really enjoy the gameplay, I can’t stand when games force you to watch a video after every single level. This game’s levels are 20-30 seconds in length and after every one of them they force you to watch a 30 second video. Waste of time. I’ll get my fun elsewhere. Thanks.

Well....... It seems fun in the video and the first 3 second are but then it just feels nothing like you think it would and I find it quite boring in fact. It is a pretty boring game and is nothing like you think it would be. On top of that it is one of those games that you get an ad every time that you die. This game is BAD. But that is my personal opinion.

Wow, but Ummmm. I LOVE this game. I keep deleting and re getting because I finish the levels so fast that they can’t make more in time!😂 However, I did notice an oversight where I’d be wedged between a rock and the outside wall, and it would push me out of bounds. I’ve had this happen on 2 occasions, the glitch is easiest to pull off on lvl. 1-5. I think I had it happen on lvl. 2-3 as well, but I don’t remember. I just checked right now and there is multiple rocks on the right side of lvl. 5 that has NO collision detection whatsoever. So, please fix. ;)

Terrible ads, terrible controls. First, the controls are backwards. It’s as if the devs have never been in a boat before. Second the ads are the worst I’ve seen so far. Super tiny fonts to get you to give up your security rights and no “X” to close an ad after it’s done. These guys are not friendly to you or gaming. Deleted very quickly. Surprised that Apple’s store recommended this poorly written game.

Very Hard. I struggle to beat level 3!!! They should make this game a lot easier. It is very hard to get stars! But I really like the song. This game is good and bad. I kinda like challenges. If your good at mobile race car games you will be good at this game. I always struggle with mobile race car games. This game can make people rage a lot. It made me rage. I mostly like this game. It is a good game. But a very hard game.

Ads. Just a disclaimer before you download this app, the ads are VERY excessive. I mean, it’s a fun game and all, very smooth and satisfying, but after every restart or every time you progress to another level, you guessed it, an ad. Also half the time you don’t even have to option to skip them, and it gets annoying after a while. But overall it’s a pretty fun game, my only suggestion is that you turn the ads down a bit, maybe to only after every two levels or three restarts instead of having an ad pop up Every. Single. Time.

Controls are Difficult. I am just an average gamer, but I have had more trouble with this game than most. The controls are difficult and not as very responsive. The current takes you all over the place and I always seem to get stuck in rocks, logs, etc. and can’t get out. Frustrating.

Jack Treharne. Vary good but I wish they would add more boat and also I wish that we could have different colors for boats and since I’m a real white water kayaker can you please add more boats and more levels but overall I think it’s good but add them please!!

Even MORE ads with last update. Apparently, “improvements and fixes” means adding more ads to a game already laden with ads. It’s a brilliant concept and fun to play, but now in addition to the 30 second ads between levels, or between attempts, or between anything really...now you have a annoying, persistent banner along the bottom of the screen while you play. I’ll give this another few tries and if I’m not convinced to buy it, I’m deleting.

Deleted. WAY too many ads!!! It doesn’t even give you a chance to learn the game before making you sit through countdown timed ads every time you get stuck(which, for me, is quite often before getting used to the controls.) if it would at least let you play for as long a time as the ads run it might be justifiable...

Awesome. U can get rid of the ads by turning off cellular data on your phone while playing it(your phone will stay make calls and text with cellular off.)

Too many ads - seriously. There are ads running everywhere in this game. Each level takes about thirty seconds and then it forces you to watch an ad of equal length. Game is cute. But the “free” price of the amount of data they collect out of your device and the 50/50 split between game time and mandatory watch ads, no... not worth it. Better stuff out there to help me waste my time.

Not Usually Into Games. I don’t like most video games, but this is a blast! I recently found my niche with games that feature a boat and paddling (I think it may be because I grew up on the water and am a Libra) including Nintendo Wii games. I’m obsessed with this game already and paid to get rid of the ads because it’s literally so much fun. I hope you build more levels!

The game is really fun, however. I’ve been playing it for a couple days and I really enjoyed it! But it started to lag and glitch! When i press left it triggers the right and doesn’t go left!!! Or vice versa. the ads are annoying but it’s expected 🙄 this toggle issue is making me want to delete the app as a whole.

Great game please fix. Okay this is a really great game. I love it so much but the controls are kinda iffy especially when you’re tapping left and right rapidly. The game will sort of lock to turning right even when I’m pressing left or vice versa. Once again really great game it’s super fun and unique but please please please fix the left and right problem.

Download this game. This game is very fun to play when you are bored. I like how it doesn’t annoy you with ads. There are cool collectibles that you can get. This would have been 5 stars but my only problem is that there are only about 25 levels in the whole game. I know it came out 4 years ago, but Part Time Monkey Oy, please add more levels, this game has some potential and deserves more attention. Also download more games from this game maker, they have other fun games.

Love the game, just a couple things. So I just recently got the game and I love it. I enjoy the different boats and the graphics are great. I like the character I think he is so cute. The dance at the end makes it nice and makes you feel good that you finished the level. I don’t think there are to many ads in the game like other reviews say. My only suggestion is that when you turn sometimes it over turns and you have to immediately tap and not hold to turn because it seems way to easy to get stuck. You have to be very Percise with your taps though that is some what part of makes the game challenging. One other thing is that there are only 20 levels so once you get three stars on all levels, you have beat the game. But all in all I do think it is a fun game with a few kinks.

Good but short (so far). The game is fun to play, the levels are all pretty unique and there’s always a lot of new mechanics showing up in every level, such as boost pads or tentacles that change your direction. The controls are really easy to learn and work quite well. The main problem with the game is that there aren’t very many levels, right now the game could be beaten in an hour or so. I understand that some levels are in development so I’ve got my hopes up for those coming in the future.

Fun game but can’t connect to FaceBook. I was really enjoying this game, until I got to the point where it said to connect to Facebook for more levels. It will not let me connect to Facebook. I tried deleting the game and reinstalling (losing all of my progress), but it still doesn’t work. Update... after a while my progress was restored, but I still can’t connect to Facebook and the extra five levels that were there when I reloaded to game are gone.

Getting Stuck. The game is great and has very good potential however it keeps getting stuck in the levels, perhaps that is the challenge but I also would like when my character gets stuck for it to automatically reset instead of having to restart the level again and again to only be faced with the same problems!

Mixed up controls!. I was really looking forward to playing this game but I am ready to delete it after the first two tries. The controls keep switching direction on me. Sometimes when I tap right it goes left like it should but then it decides to swap directions and go the opposite. I get the whole kayak thing, I’m a paddler myself. This is too frustrating to keep.

Ads always on screen makes game unplayable.. Maybe this game is fun but I didn’t bother playing more than a few levels to find out. On screen ads were so intrusive I just couldn’t. Maybe consider placing between levels instead of always on. Also my kids don’t want to read weird ads about foot fungus & dating locals either. Adverts were too easy to accidentally click as well. App deleted.

Monetization hell. Even after paying I’m being subjected to ads and social media requests. Really a shame, at its core it’s a fun game well executed. There is also some pretty significant graphics bugs but they have never gotten in the way of gameplay for me so far.

Holy Broken Batman!. Could be fun, but Jesus it's broken. Boost ramps that launch you off into broken clipping land, invisible rocks that cause you to have to restart and watch an ad, and animals that are too far away to grab you, but based on weird camera glitches, seem to get you anyway. The game can be entertaining in very small doses when it works, but since you need 500 coins to unlock a raft and you MIGHT get one a race, you're looking at a lot of broken crap to get any other boats.

Controls. Game is fun. Easy to play - hard to master. But please add an option to make controls like they were before the update. Having the paddle animation opposite of the touch input is very distracting.

Controls. I like this game a lot but the controls bother me and I don’t have option to change them. In real life when you row on the right side you go to the left but in this game it’s opposite and you could say he is just sticking the ore in the water to make it turn right but when you do it you character goes faster so he is definitely partly. This games controls mess with my head because there backwards from real life rowing.

Ads Ads. I love playing this game when I’m not waiting on an ad to finish, which is 60% of the time. Also, it’s been a huge battery drainer! But I’ve been willing to suffer through all of this to play this addicting game so they must being doing something right.

Ads. Ads. Ads.. You can’t play this game for more than 60 seconds without having to sit trough 30 seconds of ads. I don’t mind occasional ads in a free game but this is completely next level. Plus there’s always an AD at the bottom of the screen at all times. Way too much. Ruins the game as the ability to enjoy it enough to consider paying to remove the ads.

PLZ MAKE MORE LEVELS. I’ve been playing this game for a while now, and ever since I beat level 20 the game just ended. It’s getting very boring playing the same levels over and over again. Developer if you are reading this please start releasing new levels for this game. Otherwise, this game will only be fun for about the first hour, afterwards, it gets really boring up to the point will nobody will play this game ever again. THIS IS A KAYAKING GAME FOR A PHONE. NOT AN ADVENTURE GAME FOR CONSOLE OR PC

Finally!. Finally a row boat game that is the most realistic I’ve played. Love the water movement and the down hill falls, feels like I’m really in the rushing water. Controls are a bit different and takes getting used to. I tend to get stuck in the rocks a lot and have to start over but I suppose that is the whole challenge. Thumbs up to the awesome developers! I also love the environments!

Too many ads. I got stuck and I had the option to continue by watching an ad or restarting. I chose to restart but still got a 30 sec ad anyway. This issue is consistent.

Please add more levels, it’s a unique and fun game!. Usually I hate all the ads but these weren’t too bad but I was just enjoying it and it ended at level 20, no other canoeing game on the iOS store guys, come on!!!

Too long overscreen ads. Play it twice you ll have to watch a over screen ad for 30 seconds. If not full version it’s a pain to play. Even if you want to see it’s worth the purchase.

Seriously?. I agree with a lot of people LIKE JUST TURN OFF YOUR WIFI . It’s not that hard . And I saw a review that said I turned off my wifi and there were still adds.. well clearly you haven’t turned it off .. if you did then you wouldn’t have adds... this is a great game! So don’t give it 1 star if you don’t know how to turn off your wifi.

Needs a touch more IRL. Has potential, but that’s not how paddling works. At the very least you need an option to switch the controls. Taping (paddling) right should turn your bow to the left. Keep it up.

Commercials longer than courses!. The commercials take longer than the courses. Too bad, fun game but I’m deleting it now. Need a way to turn off adds in exchange for money.

Addictive. Super fun and addictive but the controls for me are sometimes maddening. You will press left and the kayak will go right! And vice versa. Otherwise a lot of fun!

Controls are backwards.. Obviously the devs have never been in a kayak, or watched video, or been in water. Pushing on water doesn’t move you towards the push

Lots of errors. The game only has like seven boats and 15 levels. There is no races and the tentacles are hard to get past. It is hard to control the boat and the time is unreasonable. Please change these in the future. Otherwise it is a good game

ONE BIG ISSUE. I love the idea of this game but for me it’s very hard to control the boat. Maybe it’s supposed to be like that but I was pointing straight and all of a sudden the boat spins around. It it very ANNOYING and it just doesn’t work for me. This happens a lot and a just don’t like it.

Great idea.... The idea of this game is great. But the controls are so hard to use... you can barley turn when needed and your always getting STUCK cause you can’t row backwards.

As a whitewater kayaker.... Thank you for bringing something close to what I love doing. I love the seal launches, and rock boofs, dropping stouts. Sometimes I forget about the timer and practice catching eddies, or splats on the bank. So fun

Back paddle. Fun game, but would be better if you were able to back paddle to get yourself unstuck.

Fun game. We were getting tired of all the pointless ads so I bought the “ad free” version but I’m still getting ads. How do I fix this? Defeats the purpose of paying for no ads only to still get them, utterly annoyed.

wonderful game, easier steering?. i didn’t get pass level 2 yet because i always get stuck so easily but that could just be me or my phone. overall it’s a nice, unique game. i really like the graphics and sounds

Love the game but got bored real fast,. So I played this game for the first time and played it for 2 days and got real bored fast. I’m not saying the game is bad but maybe you could add new stuff or mini games or something. Thanks for reading!

Good. Good game my family and I quite often love this game we compete for the family pig I personally have won many pigs this game is great

Annoying. He just keeps getting stuck on the sides and you can’t get free. Then you have to wait for annoying ads to go away to reset. The concept and graphics are good, but not worth the time nor frustration.

So far I really like this game. This game is pretty good I like the graphics the levels are fun and not to challenging

Fun but I beat it really fast. I loved the game but I feel like it was really short like it took me like an hour or so to finish

Love the game but TOO MANY ADs. Great game. Kinda fun racing against the clock but the ads kill it. I understand getting revune being a free game but the constant 30s + ads in-between each level in a buzz kill !

To many ads. So many ads after everything. Finish a level, restart cause you got stuck. Start a new level. Ad, ad, ad, ad, ad. I know they need to make money but the game gets boring after awhile when you have to wait and click out of ads.

When I turn off sound, don’t play sound. Easy problem to fix. Huge problem. I like listening to podcasts while playing games and I can’t hear the podcast whatsoever when there’s music at the end of each level.

Super fun & Competetive. I love this game! Even have #1 on Global leaderboard for Level 7. I just wish I could pay to skip ads. Every time I try, it never loads. ~Phillip Emmans

Too many ads involved. It’s a cool game but the ads get way too annoying

controls. you have switched the original controls, please give an option to choose the controls so the players before the update can function the same

Inverse paddling does nothing. Well I guess it’s halfway there. Nose still pulls to side you finger presses. Animation just puts paddle in opposite side of finger. Fun game but I wish paddle went in same side as finger but that pushed nose away from finger and paddle

Doesn’t work well on iphone. Due to the fact that holding left on the iphone causes the phone to switch apps, this game quickly becomes frustrating and unplayable on the iphone. Not a well thought out design.

Enjoyable but really short. Are you guys going to update with new levels? I enjoyed playing the game , not crazy about all the ads, but with only 20 levels there isn’t enough game to really enjoy

Fun Game. The game is good, but I’m not playing a game where I have to watch a 30-45-second ad every time I need to pause the game or each time I beat a level. That’s ridiculous and it uses a lot of data if I’m not playing on WiFi.

No.. I wanted so badly to love this game. The graphics and visual design are top notch. Sadly, the lousy controls and sloppy physics completely ruin the game. Generally speaking, I love this type of game. For instance, Catch the Ark is one of my all time favorite iOS games. For the two games to be so similar in theme, they couldn’t be far apart in game mechanics. This one is so disappointing.

More Boats 🚣. Please add big boats that cost like for example a fishing boat for 150$ Then a speedboat for 240$ and a yacht for 500$, thank you!

Soooo many adds. Every couple of times you fail you have to watch a add but its really fun and addicting

Wowza Way to many Ads!. Seems like it’d be a fun time killer. But You can’t go one 30 second span on the River without an ad coming up. Figure out a better way to make some money rather than spam ads everywhere!

🔥💀🔥. A fun game but ADS, ADS, and more ADS is kinda annoying but not enough to spend money for them to stop. But ya like I said, a fun game to play besides the no bonus ads.

Bad game. This game is terrible. It’s too glitchy, ads pop up when you are actually playing the game, the camera angle turns right when you go left and then you end up hitting the wall, rivers are wayyy too narrow. Developers, fix the game!!!!
