App not working. Like the printer but w last iphone update stopped working. Polaroid mint app tells you to allow photo access in settings but its not an option in settings unless the app requests access, which I guess it doesnt. Camera access does work, i think because app requests access which you can then ok.

This app was great until it broke. The app doesn’t prompt you to ask it to give you access to photos so it’s pretty useless since you can’t allow it to access your photos until it asks

Difficulties With The App. I’ve printed pictures off of my polaroid printer before, but for some reason, my printer won’t let me enable my photo’s. i clicked enable photo access and when it took me to my settings, the option for photos wasn’t popping up. only thing that popped up was camera and a few other options which i enabled all of them but i can’t even take a picture without enabling my photos so how do i make that option to enable my photos pop up?

Polaroid Mint printer. So glad I bought this. It’s perfect for little shots to adorn my bullet journal. Took me 10 minutes to get my phone and iPad connected and first picture printed. The color is a bit muted and it’s not as sharp as a photo printed from a professional camera but it is what I expected and serves the purpose I have. I love it.

Used to work, now it won’t. I was asked to re-enter my login info because I hadn’t used the app in a while. It’s prompting me to allow access to my photos, which I have done, but my photos are STILL now showing in the app. I can’t select anything in the app setting to assist, either! I’m so frustrated. This used to be an enjoyable app.

Won’t access photos at all. Option isn’t even present in settings to allow it to access my photos. I see the pinned review, which is a year old, says the same thing. This app used to work fine when last I used it a year or so ago. Now it’s one star because you can’t print if it can’t access photos. Their website support page is useless also, with only the most generic FAQ.

App not working. So far not impressed. I charged the printer, put in the paper, installed the app. But the app won’t let me create an account because My birthdate is apparently not valid. So I bypassed that and then it took at least 10 minutes for the app to find the printer even though my phone said it was connected. Then I tried to print a picture and it said I need a firmware update so I plugged in my phone and the printer as it suggested but the update button doesn’t do anything so I can’t actually use the app or the printer.

Loved but can’t connect anymore. I use to love this, but ever since I got my 12 it won’t connect to my pictures anymore. I can’t give it access because the photo option doesn’t even pop up anymore. Pretty bummed

Won’t grant access to photos. I’ve had this printer/app for a while and haven’t had much issue so I gave it two stars. But now it doesn’t allow me access to my photos so it’s essentially useless, and reading other reviews this is an issue that has gone back MONTHS without being fixed so I have no hope in it being fixed anytime soon so I suppose I’ll have to look into a new printer. :/

App update please!. Love this little Polaroid, but it would be so much better if the app can install more borders and stickers and just more edit in general. Would attract a lot more users for sure. Overall good, but definitely would appreciate an update with more options!

Won’t connect. My sister and I just got ours and it says it can’t even connect via Bluetooth. We created an account and I waited like two hours for the thing to connect and it never did . So disappointed.

My pocket printer. I had a polaroid camera but it stop working and obviously I did not have it on me all the time so I decided I get this and it works sooooo will 10/10 would recommend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Wow I love this thing. I’ve always been a fan of tiny things. From small little plants to mini chairs to this wonderfully crafted Polaroid printer. There are multiple ways to edit the photo before printing and the instructions for setting it up are very veryyy easy to understand. 10/10 recommend. The size of the pictures is perfect for wall decorations and this cute little printer is the perfect size to store anywhere for quick use purposes.

No access to photos. I’ve used this before in the past and it worked great but now it won’t let me access my photos in my camera roll. There are no options to allow access when I go to settings. Please fix :(

They need to fix it. It used to work great but like other reviews I have read, you cannot enable photo gallery access anymore. So you can’t print pictures. This makes the Mint unusable which is unfortunate since that’s the reason for why we purchased it! Any solutions out there?

Print problem. App works perfectly fine, it’s the photo and the filter. Whether i’m using the wrong film or somethings wrong. I keep getting blue lines and tropical filters on every print. How do i stop the filters?

Fix Enable Photos please. I was a 5 star reviewer but I see now a lot of my fellow mint users seeing this same issue. Please fix the bug. Accessibility to photos isn’t working with the newest version of Iphone 13 pro software - you need to update this on your side. I loved using it. Now I cant.

I NEED HELP WORKING IT. Everything on the app is working Great except it’s not letting me have access to my photos. When I press allow access to photos it takes me to settings and has all these things about siri? Do you have any advice on how to get access to my photos through the app?

Totally dysfunctional app. Polaroid was not the recommended device by Apple as portable printer, yet I thought I would trust Polaroid instaneous picture experience.... very disappointing experience. I downloaded the app which gets stuck on the picture of 2 kids holding balloons for ages. Tried to delete and reinstall, but problem persisted. Then after long minutes, it finally opens but the interface is totally NOT user friendly... So disappointing if not just a pure rip off

Never Works. I have the latest firmware and iOS, yet when I open the app, it says the device is not supported. Nothing but issues since I purchased this a few weeks ago. If you read this prior to purchasing a mint, I hope you reconsider. I regret my purchase because in all honesty, it doesn’t ever work. Those are the facts.

Not working. Can’t connect to printer. How do I fix?. I got this mint about a year ago. It was printing fine but now it does not recognize the printer. Tells me to delete and reinstall. Did that and same issue. Please instruct.

Good but something happened. Ok listen the app in general is really good. But the other day I was trying to print something so I go on and it says you need to let Polaroid mint aces your photos, I hit the button and there was no option for me to access my photos. I don’t know if that is because it’s my phone or it’s Polaroid mint.

App is worthless. Bought this a year ago and the app still crashes and freezes up on my iPhone. Two months ago I got my phone wet and had to buy a new iPhone. Downloaded the app logged in but it said I had to re log in because of new police changes, it froze. Again I closed it and click log in later and I’m able to agree to the policy changed. Get my Bluetooth hooked up and it then froze and crash. I contacted the company many times and they think I’m having a user problem and it’s not their app. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I asked for a refund of the pocket I can’t use and I got ghosted, so I’m 100% sure I’m past the 30 day return. Surprise surprise. So not only do they have poor products, they have poor customer.

Used to work. I had this app for over a year and it was working fine. I recently updated the app and now do not have access to my gallery. When I try to enable access to my gallery, “Photos” is not an option to give access to. I’ve been extremely frustrated and confused by this and am no longer able to use the app. It used to work fine..

Not able to allow access to photo gallery. I assume this app has been all but abandoned, it currently says I have to give it access to my photo gallery, but it doesn’t actually have an embedded request for that, so there’s no way to actually print photos from it.

I think it might be broken.... It’s not working whenever I try to connect my phone to my camera it doesn’t connect. At all, it’s so annoying I really want to print photos. Please find a way to fix it.

Great app , but super dark photos. I just got my printer and I downloaded the app and I started printing my photos and they all came out very dark. I adjusted the brightness of the photos before printing but they’re still very dark. Is there anyways I can fix this ?

No connection with Sprocket. Thanks to planned obsolescence, I bought an HP Sprocket and now am unable to use the device due to this new “upgrade” which the app requires you to obtain, despite intentionally making it so that the sprocket printer cannot connect. I regret ever buying the sprocket and do not intend to purchase whatever new phot printing device comes out from HP. Complete garbage!

CANNOT ACCESS PHOTOS!. I don’t know if it’s an update problem with the phone software or what but when I first got this printer it was awesome. Now it’s a brick because the printer will not access photos from my iphone. I see others are having this issue and it’s still not resolved. Without a fix this is a waste of my time and money.

Unusable ?. I used to have no issue with this printer/app. I finally updated the app to start working on a gift for someone, just to realize the app can’t access photos. I saw another review saying the same thing- that it asks you to enable photo access, but it’s literally impossible to do so. it just opens settings and nothing happens. Unless you take pictures with the in-app camera, you can’t use the app at all. I’m very disappointed.

Not working, please help. I’ve had a Polaroid mint printed for several years and never had an issue printing photos with the app when I have tried in the past. Today, I tried to print a photo, but it prompted me to allow access to the Photo gallery and when I tried through Settings that was not an option. I have included screenshots. I checked the comments in the App Store for that app and there have been a number of complaints that this app has not worked with recent iPhone updates. But I can also not print photos that I take with the camera because there is no gallery access which renders the printer functionally useless. What can be done about this?

Work very well. I just downloaded this app it works really well I don’t have to do any updates or anything like that it is I could open it up and do my edits or any kind of style that I would like to do any prints perfectly no complaints no problems I haven’t seen any errors so I enjoyed his app

Works but had some trouble with it later. had no trouble using it before but didn’t use it for awhile. took it out today to print something and it was a hassle to get it working again and installing the firmware. It’s working again. My pet peeve is that the color on the ZINK photo doesn’t match with the photo on my phone

Fun printer not the best picture quality. I love the concept of the Mint printer. It is very neat to print and stick in my bullet journal as a way to create a memory journal with pictures, however, the color comes out dark, even with the app using brightened software the color is not as vivid as I hoped. Would love to know if there is a way to fix this as I have tried everything I have found for suggestions on the Polaroid website. Thanks!

Quirky app for a fun printer. The Polaroid Mint printer is great - a fun throwback to the Polaroid days. The app itself however is slow and glitchy. I’d still recommend it because at the end of the day the pictures are fun. But prepare to be frustrated in the far too complicated process of getting a picture from what looks like a simple interface.

App sends me out of it even with updates.. Every time I attempt to access this app it doesn’t work. By that I mean it sends me out of the app and back to my home screen. Considering the fact that the printer was 159$, this is certainly not acceptable! I can’t return the printer because I opened it and trashed everything it was in, assuming that the app would work. I hope that the app will be fixed in these next days as I would like to start printing some pictures.

Power up problems. Have used the mint photo printer twice. The third time I charged overnight and it would not power up. Held button for 2 seconds as per directions. Tried 10 seconds, no success. Could not find troubleshooting in manual. Been working on trying to get printer to work. I GIVE UP. I would pay 10 times the money for a device that just works. Tired of wasting money on JUNK products. I guess you shouldn’t expect much for a photo printer for $59. I trusted the Polaroid name a was let down.

Polaroid Mint sticker printer. So far so good! Fun device to have on a trip, for keeping a trip journal or creating your own postcards ( just to be clear- the stickers are not postcard sized but could be affixed to postcards) It’s really fun to have the stickers to share! Love it

Horrible app. The device itself works fine, but getting the app to load alone takes ages and is a complete nightmare (if it loads at all). Multiple restarts of the app are required before it will even begin to load - if you’re lucky. Should you be fortunate enough to reach the printing function, commit yourself to about fifteen minutes of waiting for this incredibly clunky interface to load. If you finally print your image, be warned that it will be darker than what you see on the screen. Honestly, even as a lifelong Polaroid customer, I discourage anyone from buying the mint until the developers of this app fix the myriad of issues that make the device unusable.

Worst software for an appliance EVER. Updated review for version 2.07. Look at the version history for this app — nothing but bug fixes and it still won’t work. I’ve had this printer for a year and a half maybe two years now and the app that you’re supposed to use with it has never worked, not once. It starts to load, I see the balloons, I wait for her to finish loading and it never happens. Uninstall the app, reinstall the app, be told that something in their system has changed and I have to create a new account, create a new account, it sees the printer and at some point when you’re going through the select a picture process the software inevitably freezes up and never recovers. Force quit the software, restart the software, repeat the process. The only software that ever worked was the Polaroid ZIP printer software and I’ll have to give that a try again but it looks like maybe that software no longer supports this printer. At this point I am very unlikely to ever buy another Polaroid portable printer again.

No photo access. Hi, when I first connected the Polaroid Mint app, it allowed me to give it access to my photos. When I went back into the app, after a few weeks of not using it, it had me reconnect to the Polaroid meant and asked me to give it access to my photos but when I try it doesn’t give me that option. I need help giving the app access to my photos.

Glitchy App. I got the app, created an account, and as soon as I get into the app it tells me my printer needs a firmware update. The button to take me to the update screen took about 5 tries to push. I pressed update, the system went to 100%, and took me to another screen that told me I should plug my printer in while the update was installing. Under that was a warning that said my printer would restart after the update. Under that worming was a button, but I couldn’t see what it said because the warning was covering it. It would also not let me press the button. I have reloaded, redownloaded the app and still nothing has changed. I have tried waiting at the screen that has the warning until my printer powers off, but I still cannot press the button or continue on to use my printer. Disappointing at best.

Birth date not valid. I really want to make an account, but it says my birth date isn’t valid even though I am definitely older than the age listed in the terms and conditions. I noticed there were other reviews that mention this, but there hasn’t been an app update in months, which is why I’m writing a review (I never write reviews). If this gets fixed, I will most definitely give positive feedback to make up for it!

Picture quality is iffy with edits. So this prints a lot darker than it’ll look on your phone, even with compensating for the brightness level on your screen. I tried to use the editing too within the app to increase the brightness, but it’s sort of a guessing game between how it’ll look in the preview to how it prints. The picture I edited in the app turned out grainy, foggy, and weird. I’m not impressed.

Luv it!. I love my new Polaroid mint printer it’s so easy to use and fast , I luv that you can take it on the go and the quality well they speak for themselves !

Amazing but new update broke the app. The new update doesn’t let you allow access to photos. So annoying. Otherwise before this it was the best app ever

Batteries didn’t work. It doesn’t work unless it’s plugged in. Didn’t know that.

Doesn’t even launch. Old version. Hangs on launch. 5 months later update comes out. Still hangs on launch. Hardware useless.

Worked but not anymore..... I really enjoyed the app and the Polaroid mint, but since 3 month I can’t print any pictures because the apps says it doesn’t have access to my pictures. I’ve checked into my phone, but the option : access to pictures for this app isn’t here anymore .... So I can’t print anything 😭😭

Good, but app not designed for iPad.. Wish this app was designed for iPadOS & iOS. Also wish their was an option to download more stickers and frames.

very disappointed. I bought the Polaroid MINT pocket printer and it worked fine for a few weeks then when I tried to connect the printer it said does not support cannot connect so I am very confused and very disappointed I would really like a refund on this

Creating an account won’t work. Not able to use any email to create an account to set my mint up. Says every emails has already been used.

Nice idea.. While I enjoy the Polaroid brand, the app just didn’t work well. The idea behind it it was well intentioned, and the functions would have been nice but there was serious lag.

Doesn’t work.. It connected very easily, and it printed one good picture, but when I tried to print more they all came out blank white pieces of paper, the paper hosted a lot and very disappointed.

Sometimes it works. The stickers do not always work, the same with the options like changing the size of the image ... iPhone X iOS 12

Can’t enable my photos. It won’t let me access my photos. For some reason it won’t let me enable photos to this device . Do you know why ?

Not a good app. Had to delete and re-install again the app more than 5 times because it’s not working. Updates and all, still not working.

Barely functional. On my iPhone 8, the app freezes for 6-10 seconds at a time between every button press. Often it freezes completely on the loading screen. Crazy how much worse this app is than the Polaroid Pop app.

Terrible start up. 1.5 hours and still trying to get photo printed. Updates, “Hiccups”, takes so long to print the Polaroid Mint shuts off and need to start over again. Anything changes will let u know but again still waiting on first photo to print .

Can’t give photo permission. The app wants me to get permissions to view my photos. When I click on it it takes me to settings but there’s no place to allow the app to see my photos

update unsuccessful. i just updated the new filmware and now it doesn't turn on. when i try it makes this screeching sound which worries me a bit. it won't turn on or connect. i would like to fix this issue, any recommendations?

Color not the best. Love the ease of use but prints are much lighter than actual photo. Not much change even when edited.

Useless. How exactly are you supposed to use this printer at all if the app doesn’t allow access to photos within its settings? Seems like this issue has been ignored for quite some time too judging by the other reviews. Shameful.

App is not working. Same problems as everyone else. I wish I would have known this was an issue before buying the printer. It’s totally useless because I can’t update the firmware. Very disappointed.

The App (or Printer) Doesn’t Perform Well. I’ve had my printer for a few months and there is always connection issues/enabling issues. The current issue I am dealing is that the app keeps saying I need to “enable photo access” in my settings. When I enable it, it still pops up with the same message.

Don’t waste your money. The quality of the pictures is terrible. It’s also difficult to get it to pair with my phone.

App keeps freezing. I just purchased the Polaroid mint and couldn’t wait to start printing. However, after downloading the app, it keeps freezing and won’t let me get past the initial sign in pages. I’ve deleted and reloaded the app multiple times, and it continues to occur. Beyond frustrated.

App not working so well. So I just downloaded the app yesterday on a iPhone and it would not connect to the printer and I downloaded it on a iPad and I have the same problem. Does this app really work?

wont let you print anything. i have had this printer for a couple years and at first it worked great but one day it said i needed to allow access photos again. THE SETTINGS APP HAD NOWHERE FOR YOU TO ALLOW PHOTO ACCESS!!!! all that money down the drain because i can’t use this!!!!

Didn’t work and No response!. My friend got a new Polaroid Mint for her birthday and was so excited. She tried to use the app, but it continued to kick her out of the app. We looked through the reviews, and there were a lot of people saying the same thing. She emailed Polaroid, and they didn’t respond.

Blue tooth. I got the Polaroid mint app and tried to connect it to my camera but my camera doesn’t appear on my Bluetooth settings. How do I fix that?

Not working at all. I tried to connect my printer many times and it always brings me back to my home screen. I just got the iPhone 11 brand new so there is nothing wrong with my phone. I am trying to make a Harry Styles shrine and I can’t do that if I don’t have pictures. Please fix this ASAP I’m depressed

Firmware update. The app keeps telling me firmware needs updated and that I should plug my device into a power source. I’ve tried everything. Still can not get the firmware to download.

Nice. It’s handy and nice, however the ink or color can be improved.

Doesn’t work. I just got my printer and the app keeps telling me I need an update. But it uses its warning screen to cover the update button. So I can’t press it to update my device, and so it won’t let me print. If this could just be fixed, it would work fine, I assume. Really disappointed.

Color way off. The photo is clear but the colors are way off. Better to have a black and white print than this. Boo.

App is not working and continuously locks up. I spent a good amount of money on this printer and paper. The app is required for the printer but does not work. It continuously locks up or doesn’t load. It’s beyond frustrating.

Frustrated. I just downloaded the app, it allowed me to create an account, but now when I try to launch the app, it stays on the main page and will not load. I just got my printer, so this is quite frustrating. Not happy.
