Best dictionary app. This is the longman language activator; anyone with any language proficiency can benefit from this app. I’d like to give it a 10 out of 5 stars!!! I only have one question: what features will be added if I pay for the app aside from ad removal? It’s not clear in the description.

Easy definitions. Great for learners.. This is a great app. I’m going to pay for it when I am rich.

Question. I have been using longman dictionary for many years , but after i updated my phone it’s not working anymore , but now i bought this version but hiw can i used offline?

Can’t open it suddenly. Had been using it without problem. But today when I just used it, it said “can’t load data”.

I paid for download and it doesn’t work off line. I paid for download. The charge ran on my credit card. I keep click in download and it doesn’t work. I says it is downloaded but every time i am off line i request me to go back on line to see a definition. When I click off line, it wants me to charge again. Then I uninstalled the app and download it again. Now it is asking me again to pay. It even says i did not pay. Yet my back card has the charge. No email to write this company. I am very disappointed.

New Upgrade issue. I love this app and highly recommend it for everyone!!! I’ve been using it for couple of years and it’s just delightful. One year ago I purchased it with no regrets. However after recent upgrade the app works very slow and sometimes even can’t find common using words. Hopefully this issue can be fixed. The reason I gave 3 stars now is because of app’s bug. But previous version is definitely 10 out of 5, and hopefully corrected one will be as great as previous.

Slowly for the update system. Recently I have had updated version, it’s very slowly, I am not recommended this new version.

Socially Great. In every level of english speaking, this dictionary has the highest spot overall. Enjoying it to the max.

Always requires internet connection. Although I’ve bought it and downloaded the offline content but it always requires internet connection could you please check the app for this issue

Concerning bug fixing. I’ve been using this app for some time now and it is one of the best dictionaries there is and it gives the most accurate definition of the words, However there are 2 main issues 1. After some time, the application works only if the full version would be purchased and due to sanctions against Iran, there is no interaction between banks and it’s made impossible for us to buy 2. Some of the words in the dictionary have no definition at all , there are some example phrases for the said word but no definition. Your kind consideration and prompt action addressing these issues is highly appreciated

Word reminder. It was so better if you make an access for student to reminde the word that searched before as an daily word reminder from their history app

Better than original LDOCE. I used both of them for a very long time, and in advance, believe me, it worths paying to remove ads. The only reason I’m not giving it 5-star is that the lack of dark mode is almost tangible.

On web only. Hi, This is a perfect Dict. But one question; Does it need access to internet to work?

iCloud syncing. I think it would be great if you add the sync capability of notes to iCloud

New update problem. I have used this app for years and I was so delighted to have this app for my daily application. But today I updated the app and it dose not let me use it again in offline mode. I have to say that I am not able to purchase it since all pay pals do not work in Iran due the sanctions against Iran. I would appreciate if you let me use the previous free version because I really need this great app.

Good dictionary for people learning English. I find the definitions easy to understand. The words of the day are useful and the pictures are also a good way to learn vocabulary. I expect it’s good for children too.

American pronunciation for favorite words. This is a great app for English learners. But there is only the British pronunciation for favorite words. It would be great if pronunciation preference (British/American) for favorite words can be configurable.

it cannot load. The app worked just fine until a few days ago it keeps gave me a “cannot load” pop window for a word I want to search, why is that???? How to fix it??? Even after I paid for it?

Great but online. Great app but it is online doesn’t work while we are out of data service!

Simple and clear explanation of each word. Look no forward for simple and easy to understand definition of words.

Ease of use. I’m thinking of using your dictionary for esl students who need clear definitions and a simple way to move from definition to synonym etc. Eg. If I set up a group, I may wish to exclude info in the beginning like count or uncount noun and introduce it later. I would also love it to list the CEFR levels. Some of the students also have learning issues so a less cluttered page the better.

Verb table doesn’t load. It’s a pity that the verb table doesn’t load. Same error message for all verbs.

Words lost after the update of the dictionary. I cannot find the emails or any contact of the app developers so I have to come here to provide my question. I have used the dictionary on a daily basis for a long time. I haven’t got any too bad experiences with using it. But I found that the app has been updated to a newer version automatically when I started the app this morning. Then I checked the words/phrases that I added to “my favorite” and found nothing is there. It took me over one year to accumulate the words, but now they are all gone. I wonder do you have some ways to retrieve the words? I am looking forward to hearing back from you as soon as possible. Thanks.

Not a free app anymore😡. I’m wondering why you made the app only available if you purchase the premium package?! You didn’t mention that in the new update description and updated the app and saw that I have no longer access to it as it says your trial has ended! Now it seems like you want to get money from it and that’s a shame. Please again provide it free and accessible to public...

Most thorough. Best dictionary ever. It gives you do much more than just the meaning. It provide numerous example sentences, collocations and theme/ domain specific vocabulary. Definitely better than any other learners dictionary.

Slow. It becomes very slow in this updated version. I miss the old one….
