Great way to practice fluency. This app has been so helpful on working on fluency in a quick and convenient way. The app is so easy to use and the subtopic quiz have great questions that help improve fluency on definitions, concepts and scenario questions. I would love to know how the app works alongside their Full Length BCBA Mock Exam - and how it compares to these mini quizzes. So worth the money - and you can use this anywhere!!! No need to even have wifi or data - it’s great!

Great Practice and affordable. This app allows you to practice and provides Cooper references when you answer incorrectly. You can reset if you answer all areas. Very affordable. User friendly. Practice anytime. A varied assortment of questions. Great for taking on-the-go!!!! Progress is not saved across devices, but when you are studying I find it best to repeat. Having it on both devices gives the push I need to repeat modules, even though I might have passed it with flying colors (or not) on the other device.

No brainer affordable study guide. I would give this 5 stars except that it has grammar errors on at least 5 questions and one of the questions In section E4 asks about when it’s appropriate to cancel services. It lists 3 out of 6 reasons but only allows 1 as the correct answer. Answer should be all of the above/ mentioned. I believe there were 3 other instances like this I just didn’t document them.

The typos kill me, but great app besides that. The typos and grammar errors drive me crazy! However, so far it’s been helpful in studying for the exam. One of my supervisors said that she only used this app to study before her exam and recommended it.

Love this app. I used this app throughout my studying and it was amazing. I recently had a baby so it was an easy way to do practice questions at any hour. I passed yesterday so this app really helped me tremendously !

Fantastic app & so affordable. Loving this app so far! Breaks everything down by each section and then 10 questions per each objective in that section. As you go thru if you miss 1 or more of the 10 it was immediately prompt you with the answer and reference. Once you complete all 10 questions in a section correctly it turns green. Love the color visual cues and errorless teaching. Definitely worth the money and honestly would pay more now that I know all that is has. Suggestions to the creator- The following are ideas I’ve had along the way but by no means take away from the 5 star rating. 1.) Go further with the color coding such as red if you score below 50-70% maybe, orange for 70-90% and green is only still for 100%. 2.) I would definitely pay additional money for scenario questions for each section. All questions seem to be more definitional with some scenario but would be awesome to have more scenario. 3.) Pop-up feedback is great. Would love at times if there was more information or a place to get more information even if you chose the right answer. 4.) Love the format of this and using it so easily on my phone. If you came out with mock exams using the same interface I would definitely buy them! Overall such a great app and so worth it for the price. Can’t wait to see what y’all come out with next! 😃👍🏻🙌🏻

Like it but wrong answers. I like this app so far but have ran into multiple questions that have the the wrong answer set as the correct. It’s very aggravating when you have to redo the section to put the incorrect choice. It would be great to have a feedback section on the app to mark the questions that should be reviewed to be fixed.

Disappeared. This app was great for the brief time I had it. It is now blank when you open it. I bought it and really didn't have a chance to get much use at all. Update: I got an email to contact the developer to troubleshoot but the link to the webite doesn't work and I have no way to contact. Please send me contact information.

Best way to waste time productively. I’m currently studying for the exam and deleted all my social media. I still find myself picking up my phone to distract my mind, and instead of scrolling though IG I open this app and finish a section or 2. It’s amazing. Now let’s see how I do on the test!

White screen. I purchased this app to help me study for the BCBA exam. I went through a handful of quizzes and it looks like it will be super helpful in studying. But after only 1 day, I’m having issues with it opening. I keep getting a blank white screen. I’d like to keep using the app but it’s not working right. I have force closed the app and the first time that worked. But now I’ve force closed it several times and it won’t open. I’m hoping the developers will contact me to resolve this issue because I’d like to continue using it instead of asking for a refund. I use and IPhone X if that helps.

Thankful mom of 2. I have had this app 3 days and have already gotten my money’s worth. Late nights nursing my infant are now used for learning opportunities instead of mindless scrolling. Times when I only have one hand available can now be put to good use as the app only requires one hand. Thank you thank you thank you.

Excellent - but minus 1 star for irritating rating requests!. This is a very easy-to-use, efficient way to learn a wide range of fundamental ABA vocabulary. I’ve been an A student in my masters program; however, whenever we focus on a specific topic for a class or training (let’s say measurement), I forget the difference between closely-related terms (e.g., “reliability” vs. “accuracy”). This impedes my participation in the discussion, because I either keep my mouth shut to avoid saying something ridiculous or have to look down and do a search on my iPhone like a fool! If you can relate to this sort of situation (can’t we all?), ABA Wizard is well worth the $10 (or even more). No need to waste hours searching for an occasional useful quiz here and there. Why 5 stars, when I say “minus 1 star for irritating rating requests?” Because I’d give this 6 stars if I could. It’s good!

Meh. The app has good quizzes, but a lot of the questions and examples within or across sections are repeatitve and I would prefer more variety in questions (if you retake the quiz you get the same questions). There’s also tons of spelling and grammatical errors (probably on every other question), which is very frustrating. Also, when you get a question wrong, it will give you the definition of the main topic or of the correct answer, but doesn’t explain why it’s the correct answer so really it doesn’t help you learn from your mistakes, except by memorization and not actual understanding of concepts.

Great supplemental tool. It’s excellent at first to give you an idea of the detailed nature of questions. Then it’s great to use as you narrow down the content areas you need improvement on. It accurate compared to the Cooper book. I like that it shuffles questions when you repeat a section and is color coded based on 100% accuracy, although I don’t think it saves your performances.

Best portable study tool. I have been using ABA wizard in conjunction with other study tools, but this is the only one that I can take with me everywhere I go. It’s the only one that is fully downloaded on my phone, so I don’t have to use data to use it. ABA Wizard lets me take a few short quizzes while I’m waiting for a session to start, or while I take the metro. It’s hard to understate how much I appreciate being able to study whenever I can.

Totally worth the $10!!. The only reason I gave 4/5 is because there were a few typos and cooper references that didn’t quite match, and I wish it graphed progress (but hey, it’s only $10) Other than that though, this app is SO HELPFUL! It’s almost like a more efficient and available on the go BDS. The questions are phrased in a way that really help me understand things I THOUGHT I already did even better and I love how it’s categorized by Task List section and then gives you a reason and reference to questions you answer incorrectly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I got it because someone who passed the exam on Reddit mentioned it and I think it’s a hidden gem that more people need to know about!

Helpful, but some minor things…. This app is great to study on the go but it definitely has errors/incorrect answers. Also, when getting an answer correct, it would be great to have the answer remain highlighted green with the explanation below, then a “next” button to proceed to the next question.

Great exam prep tool!. Wonderful app for developing fluency. If selection is a wrong answer, there’s a pop-up screen that tells you the reasoning behind the correct answer, and wrong answers, and a reference to the material

Cheap Good Study Prep. I just passed my BCBA exam! This app was the core of my studying, I only went through every question and used the book to look up the terms and topics I didn’t know making flashcards from the topics. The app showed me a lot of topics I didn’t even know I needed to know and provides feedback. Some spelling errors and I think a couple answers were off but this app helped me pass first try.

Great addition to my other studying. I love this app for helping with fluency of the concepts. If I can’t master a quiz I go an thoroughly study the concept in the Cooper book. Works just fine on my IPhone X. I would definitely recommend.

A few glitches in an otherwise good app. The content has been a helpful tool in my exam prep. The only problem I have found (with the iPhone version) is there are questions about types of graphs “What type of graph is this?” with no corresponding graph. So you have to, I assume, guess in order to move on?

Can take it anywhere! All you need is a phone. I love this app! I use it all the time to review and also to quickly study in situations where I don’t have my books or other materials.

Helpful but pop up is annoying.. I like how the sections are broken down and how the answers are explained to help with error correcting. I didn’t give 5 stars because it is annoying having a pop up ask if I like the app over and over.

Stimulus Control section mistakes. I love this app! It has helped me clarify concepts immensely! However, in the stimulus control section, I took a screen shot of 4 of the questions about a grandmother and grandfather. They all ask the same question, yet give 4 different answers. This is clearly a mistake. Also, in the intervention section, the alternative behavior part won’t open for me. Lastly, there are also typos that I would love to flag for the app editors to correct, but there’s no way to do that.

It’s cheaper than the BDS. It’s cheaper than the BDS but some of the questions are not written correctly therefore the answers will confuse you. You need to use the Cooper Book alone with the ABA Wizard. It is more convenient than the BSD and I like the layout better than the BDS layout. I have the app on both my phone and iPad.

Switched from 4th to 5th task list. I’m taking the BCBA exam next week (4th edition) and purchased this a while ago to practice test questions. I used the app often and planned to use it for last minute test prep questions. I opened the app today to find that the content is now based on the 5th edition task list. Very disappointed that the change was made - given that those taking the test through Dec. 31st are still doing the 4th edition…

Get it. This app is amazing. I love that it provides references when you select a I correct response and provides a detailed definition of the correct response as well as the reference. I have recommended this app to all my classmates in my cohort and so far we have all loved it. I love that there is a quiz for each item on the task list( a few questions are repeated but that just helps solidify my knowledge) I hope that this app aids me in acing the bcba exam. 😊

Great supplement to the BDS modules. I purchased this yesterday and will be taking the February exam. I have the BDS modules and the PassTheBigAbaExam manual ... this is great for when you are having a busy day and can’t get to actual studying but have some down time to go through questions! Fingers crossed I pass!

Supplemental study material. Great way to get some extra studying in throughout the day. Just need my phone. Also the questions will reference where in Cooper et all, you can find more information if you get the questions wrong.

So worth it. This app has been so helpful for studying for the BCBA or BCaBA test! Its divided up into different sections with only 10 questions per quiz. It’s so easy for on the go or when you just don’t feel like getting out Cooper. when you get a question wrong, it tells you why and references Cooper, when applicable, so you can read more on it. Definitely worth purchasing! So glad I found it!

BCBA Candidate. I’m enjoying using this app. It’s easy to use and each mc quiz is just short-long enough for me to learn the nuances in each task list item! I ❤️that the correct answer is given following an incorrect answer. It’s been the best accompaniment to BCBA exam preps!

This is the second review - rating keeps popping up!. Lost a star because of the rating pop-up constantly coming up at the end of each session, and I wish you provided a read-out at the end of each session that showed which questions were incorrect.

So many questions for building fluency!. I downloaded this app and am so glad I did! Over 1200 questions to help you build fluency with terms! In order to move to the next subsection of each area you have to get 10/10. Love this!!! I’ve completed it 3x thus far and am going to do it 1 more time before I test in Feb!! Make another app that we future BCBA’s can use!!!

Great. This application is great. Has minor errors to some of the terms however it’s great to build fluency with aba terms. I also think updating your app with new terms for each update would be extremely beneficial and help people studying to generalize the terms rather than memorizing (: just a thought! Love the quizzes at the bottom! It’s a great app for on the go

Loving this app. This is an excellent resource to use while preparing to sit for the exam. It can be used anywhere and I love the explanations for the wrong answers. It really helps with increasing fluency and understanding of the concepts and it’s the most affordable resource I’ve seen especially for it’s effectiveness. Would def recommend!

Turn off rating pop-up!!. I rated it.....now can you turn off the pop-up to remind me to rate it? Most annoying thing ever. Otherwise a great app to use during study times.

Meh- good if you need on the go review. This information can be readily available online for free- there’s only ten questions for each task item, you could easily make a quizlet. •lack of questions •repetitive questions •gramatical errors •very basic

Great Study Tool. I used this app for the month before taking the exam. I had also completed the BDS modules (they were a course requirement for me), and found this to be a superior way to review after having done the modules, instead of trying to do my weak modules again. This app was so helpful, and I did wind up passing the BCBA exam, so I credit the app for helping me target reading questions and selecting answers carefully.

Great free product and feedback to incorrect answers. I really like this app because whenever I get an answered wrong it gives me the cooper book definition on why it’s wrong along with the pages I should study or refer back to. It’s great!

Good feedback and questions on app. I enjoy that the app lets you retry questions as many times as you want. There is both a random setting (that doesn’t save progress) and a sectioned part and it does save the settings. This app does seem to promote fluency and has lots of good questions. The feedback is good too.

Good Study Tool. So far I have taken the test 2x but I did not have this tool. It has close approximation of how the test questions may be presented and prompts one on how to think about the question appropriately when making the correct answer choice. Hopefully with the help of ABA Wizard the “3rd time is the charm!”

Convenient Well Organized Way to Study. This app is amazing! I use in conjunction with other study guides but I’m able to get a good feel of the areas I lack competence in and go back and review. I love that I can access it from my phone anywhere and it highlights tasks that have already been completed.

Plenty of questions. This app is a great way to get loads of test question practice. I found it useful to be able to practice questions under each task list area, in addition to the random set of 10 questions at a time. I think every little bit of studying helps… I’m now a BCBA.

Love it!. Absolutely love this app!!! However don’t memorize the question because these are not the exact questions that will be on the test however it give you an understanding the definition and concepts of what will be on the test. It’s a great App if you are getting your BCBA. I highly recommend it.

Great study app!. Covers a large range of topics and uses a question format that is comparable to an actual BCBA exam. I use this app to brush up on topics whenever I have a spare 15 minutes and I always feel like I learned something new/remembered something I had forgotten from my college classes! Definitely worth the buy, even if you’re out of school and just looking to strengthen your knowledge of the ABA terms and concepts.

The app is excellent, but it’s missing customization.. This app is great. It has a dense library full of powerful references and questions. The only thing that I find bad about it is the lack of customization. A little suggestion to the developers which should be easy to creat; Allow the user to test on whole areas, like self test in experimental design, or in measurement etc. The app only allows you to test in a randomized manner or by single subject. Other than that, the app is perfect. Love the portability and ease of use. The only down side is the lack of testing customization which I’m sure will be fixed soon 😉.

Good app. I wish there was a way of tracking the quizzes besides 100 pass, somewhere between 1-10 questions correct or not taken. Maybe have the number of the last quiz

This app is just okay. This app is just okay. There are several questions that overlap between content areas and some that don’t seem relevant for a particular content area. For example, for the content area “select interventions based on the client’s current repertoires” there were several questions about the different attitudes of science. Overall, I think the app is good to build fluency but I wouldn’t recommend it for learning to apply concepts, principles, and strategies.

Tool to use when you panic days before exam. Is that my test is 10 days away, I’m so happy I purchased this. I didn’t know how valuable this was until now. Great value for what you get!

An ok app. Most of the content is helpful, some of the questions repeat themselves exactly, yet yield different responses that are not correct. Would be nice there were more examples for each section.

Was a great app …. This AP was great, until they changed it to the 5th edition task list. I’m currently studying for the 4th edition and it was changed before it even came into effect? Would have been great if they waited to change it as many people still using it are writing under the 4th edition.

Great app. This is an awesome app! Definitely worth more than $10. I wish it tracked scores for each section. Getting a 4/10 or 9/10 both turn orange. I wish it had the percentage next to each one.

Not working with iPhone X. I can no longer use the back or home button. I have to completely close out the app and restart it again to begin a new category!!

There are mistakes. Have just purchased this app and already founf mistakes there. After this how can I trust this app? It’s in SDs and MOs. One question is two times and the answer is one time correct and the second time not correct. Someone could be really harmed with this kind of mistakes.

White screen?. Great for studying on the go but I have had to delete and reinstall the app multiple times due to it loading or freezing on a hire screen with questions.

Home and back buttons don’t work. I just purchased this for my iPhone X and the home and back buttons don’t work. I have to close out the app to visit a new section of the task list. I hope this will be fixed soon, otherwise not worth the price.

Great but…. This is good to keep your mind fresh on topics. The questions are redundant but helpful.

Typos and awkward wording but that makes you think critically. Not all questions are conceptually systematic and some are straight up wrong. However I love the random question option as this is like the test!

Great study questions. I wish I could adjust the font size of questions. It is soooo tiny in my phone. It’s fine for 30-45 minutes but it gets blurry for me after that.

Perfect study tool. Studying for the BCBA exam, this has been so helpful. I work through my study materials and then do some ABA wizard quizzes to test my knowledge!

Pretty Good. It’s good to brush up on various terminology, but the questions are much easier than the actual exam or any mock exams.

Who do I talk to?. Hi I just started using the app and I think I found a couple of mistakes in the foundation section stimulus control, Sd, and conditional discrimination. Could you tell me if you see the mistakes to? Or am I wrong?

CLARIFIES. Not only does this app helps building fluency with ABA terms but it helped me clarify many gray areas I had after completing my course load and 3/4 of my supervised hours!! I feel this will minimize any test anxiety :-)

Quick practice. Reinforces studying with quick practices. Can be done when you have a few minutes here and there to get practice answering questions! Love it!!

I was forced to rate this app. Every few questions I’m asked if I want to rate the app. I click no. Another few questions and they ask again. And again. And again. Doesn’t stop asking me to rate the app. Borders on harassment. I rated it so they can stop asking.

Quick and easy study tool. This is a great resource tool to aide in my studying for the exam. The only change I would make is if the score percentage for each quiz was listed alongside the title. This would help better prioritize my topic areas for review.

Not great. This would be a great resource besides the questions that are incorrect! I’ve found so many and it’s annoying to not be able to pass a section because of having to remember to chose the incorrect answer! Additionally there are a LOT of the same exact questions in several different sections.

So far I love this APP. Testing in August!!! I’ll update my review after I pass!

Great App. When you don’t pass the quiz the questions should be different so you don’t memorize the questions

I have a visual disability. You would think being in this field their product would be accessible to everyone but no, I need the screen read to me and this app does not allow that.

Studying hard. Been doing the BDS modules to help me prepare for the exam. While they are fantastic I kinda feel stupid a lot of the time. This app is helping to build my confidence and knowledge in ABA. Totally going to kill my test.

Helping me pinpoint weak areas from task list. No results yet as I have not taken the exam, but I feel like I am getting good feedback with references to assist me in closing the knowledge deficits that are lingering

I rated it already... please stop asking. The content is great. The app will not stop with the “rate me” pop up! So... I’m rating it a 2 just because it’s annoying.

Change App version. I have been working on this app for weeks straight. Only to discover that none of the work that I completed was saved. Now I have to start over 😒

Great app... when it works. The app was great until it got updated and all my progress was lost and now I can’t navigate through the app without it freezing.

New update. Application updated scenario questions to 5th edition task list and certain answers make the app crash or all 4 multiple choices on a quiz show up as incorrect.
