Scam. I started out liking this game a lot . Now there are so many things that don’t make sense . I emailed them SIX times trying to get an answe on one thing . The answer I finally received was very generic and did not address my problem . When I open the boxes the lifelines in the box never all show up down at the bottom where the available lifelines are . It’s infuriating . Let’s say I receive four in the box I may get two . I can see an ask the audience and it’s not there . These are examples . Then when in the goals page where it shows you how many things you have to go to get diamonds it changes !!! I just checked and I had used 17 of 25 lifelines . After 25 I get diamonds . So I check after that , after I used one more . It now says I have used 16 of 25 ! There are other things also . I am not an idiot . It gets you hooked then you feel as if you need to pay money for the diamonds to continue .

Canned Response!. You tell me to contact you in my app - sorry, no can do because I deleted it! Address my issue here regarding the different orders of magnitude to play (thousands) and receive rewards to continue playing (hundreds) and I might get the app again. Ridiculous in so many ways! Every time I played I would run out of coins to allow me to play, because it’s 1000, 2000 or 4000 (thousands) coins to play and the rewards are all 100, 200, 500, etc. (hundreds...do y’all see the problem here?!). Lifelines are available to obtain for coins, but see above, because after you spend 1,000s to play you won’t have anything left to get them. Bottom line, every time I played I’d run out of enough coins to play another game or obtain lifelines, and opportunities to get more coins free are rigged to fail (the “loading” circle of death, then a message, “that ad isn’t available right now) forcing you to either pay money to get more, or quit playing for the day (yeah, OK, four hours, but I’m not going to sit there and watch the clock so I can play Millionaire again) and wait for more ads to get more, which are unreliable - in an obvious design to get you to “pay to play”. Here’s a solution to the whole problem - make the “cost” to play and the rewards the same level of magnitude - thousands OR hundreds, not thousands AND hundreds, respectively!!!

Shameless Cash Grab. This app is beyond frustrating. You're forced to sit through an ad after every single match. I'm fine with free to play apps selling things that let you progress faster, but not things that give paying players an unfair advantage (this app is the latter). The 1v1 style would be interesting, but players who spend money have a huge advantage. It's essentially impossible to unlock the better experts without paying real money, and those experts basically just give you the answer when you use the "Ask an Expert" lifeline (and there are no limits to the number of lifelines you can use, so paying players have way more of them and can use them to get the answer to almost any question they don't know). I don't know who comes up with the questions, but it's clear they have a very strong pro-Christian bias. About every 30th question is an extremely obscure question about Christian theology (I went to church and Sunday school until I was 18 and still don't know the answers to hardly any of these). Yet in all my time playing, I have come across 0 questions about Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, or any other modern religions. This could be a great trivia app if it didn't have ads or give paying players a hugely unfair advantage. If you're looking for a trivia app that won't drive you insane, look elsewhere.

Good game to test the brain. I really enjoy playing and like the fact that I am sharpening my brain at the same time. I would like to see reward elements of the game changed to make game play and winning more fair and rewarding. One way the game could be improved is to modify the event challenges. Currently, the events have such high point levels for any reward that one would have to play the game ALL day long to complete the event. Some people are playing for fun and have jobs and lives and cannot afford to play all day long. Start by cutting the point levels in half and give everyone a chance. And in terms of accumulating points from playing, let the winner of the game get their points cumulatively so instead of only getting 300 if they hit the millionaire, they get the sum of all individual questions points. And have time windows where the points earned are doubled or tripled.

Missing Some Of the Basics it Used to Have. I’ve played for a couple years with some breaks and having returned recently there are a couple glaring problems. The milestone marker is missing which is a huge problem. Especially since earning a silver box after beating an opponent doesn’t lock in a milestone. (Which would be very nice and much more aligned with the original show). Also extra lives seem to be mostly useless. I get many as rewards yet am almost never offered the opportunity to use them. Another big bummer is that I bought a single gem pack for $10 which removed ads (great for faster games) but also removes the OPTION of watching ads for bonus gems and lifelines. A punishment that I now cannot earn free gems daily by watching my 10 ads.

Very good. I have been playing this game for a couple years and it is still excellent. However, there is one thing I would like to know and can't seem to find any answer... am I playing against live players in real time? Because, if I leave in the middle of a game and, maybe an hour, later come back to it I am still playing the same person. And as I assume the other person hasn't waited I assume the gameplay cannot be with a live person in real time. Also, I never have to wait for the other player to answer, no matter how fast I answer the question. Anyway, this doesn't spoil the game, but I think it would make it better knowing you were playing with someone else in real time and not just a recorded game.

Needs improvement. The latest update forces you to watch ad‘s after every game with no benefit. If you are going to include video ads which are using up my data and I expect some kind of reward. It is hard to get coins without paying for them and they’re not cheap minimum cost to play is 1000 coins so you get one free game a day if you’re lucky. Making it to the million is not hard but you really don’t gain much IMO. I just think if they’re going to get regular players they need to make coins more accessible. I have deleted the app after the most recent video ads and it is the same video over and over again. Too many free trivia games that are just as good. Would try it again if they changed some things, 30 second ad after playing was the deal breaker. I play on my breaks so it’s a long time to wait when you only have 5 minutes.

I love this game. But I defer to the ‘waiting 4 unexpected update’ reviewer, since I cant get thru. Still waiting for the unexpected update, so thought I’d jump in on reviews. I love playing this game, but don’t enjoy losing half of what I spent when I beat my opponent. I continue after opponent loses, get the box, & if I don’t walk & miss next question I get the box but lose the kwan. What? And the others are right. You bust it to win, you get the $1M, but don’t make enough to play 2 8k games?!? Most of the experts don’t know the answer unless you already do. But biggest problem I have now...you don’t respond to your players to address their issues. It’s a programmed bot response. You don’t care about the people who are TRYING to enjoy this game. That makes YOU the loser. Buh-bye.

Addictive. This game is very fun. It was a little confusing at first to learn how to accrue and use lifelines. They are different from the television game. There are experts you can ask for help, but they aren’t always helpful. You need to upgrade them before they are of much help. There are also lots of commercials, and you need to buy expensive gems to advance very far. It would be nice to get to save your progress at more points along the ladder, but you can only save if you don’t take a guess. If you guess wrong, you fall way down the ladder to wherever you beat your opponent. If you don’t beat your opponent, you can’t quit and save where you are. I still haven’t figured out how to earn the last expert in each level. There are lots of bonus games and ways to earn gems, so that is a plus. Overall is a fun game.

I used to enjoy this game. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! You won’t be progressing without spending a lot of REAL money on the gems that you need to be able to play. This game is nothing but a huge rip off. The higher you climb in the game and the better your stats the more expensive the rewards are. Not to mention the fact that the ads are turning into sexually explicit junk that show digitally enhanced people in risqué positions and scantily clad females claiming to be “Legends”. I’m well aware that I can spend $9.99 a month to get rid of the ads, What a waist of time and money. I was really surprised to see that this is a Sony production. On top of all of that (and there’s plenty more to complain about) you’ll make it to correctly answer a million dollar question and only be rewarded with $500,000. You have to play this game almost constantly to hold your place in the levels unless you’re going to spend a bunch of real money to keep the momentum going. Sony you should be ashamed at how badly you’re ripping people off.

Good but Needs improvement. Fun and good game, however there a few things that are not too cool. My biggest problem with this game is that you play against another person and you will get a bronze chest if you beat the other, which yay, but if you do beat them and keep going and get a question wrong well after your opponent is out you will only get the amount of money that you beat them at, this happened to me every time I did better than my opponent. What is the point of being better than someone if you can only make as much as the loser. 2nd problem is that you most definitely have to pay to play, you can play like 3/4 times a day without spending any real money, and they games cost 1k+ just to play one game. I know that most games now you have to pay to have extra chances and stuff in general, but for this you can hardly play at all without playing. There are other things that bother me about this game, and I’ve only had it for two days now, but these two things are my biggest complaints. I think that game is fun and good, but for me personally, if these two things aren’t fixed I will not be able to play this game and would not advise others as well.

TRUE MENTAL CHALLENGE. Let me begin by saying this is not a perfect game. On occasion the answer is wrong. Sometimes the questions are poorly phrased, missing words or misspelled. On occasion it has frozen up and not given me what I earned but the negatives are outweighed by the positives. First and foremost, it can be a free game. It has been for me. Close second is the fact that you are in control of your success or failure. The answers are factual not a computer generated spin. Close third and why I like this game is because it sharpens my memory and teaches me things I don’t know. SOME PLAYING TIPS: The game wants the “best” answer, not a perfect answer. This is an English language version so expect expressions and questions about all English speaking countries. if you are going to guess, go with your first choice. Your gut feeling is often due to information you absorbed at one time. Pay attention to the answer when you are wrong. This is how you learn and the questions will eventually repeat themselves if you play long enough.

Good game but changes hurt.... Entertaining game, leans a little too much to British history/culture imo but fun to play. In particular I love the concept of collecting Epic experts....they come rarely and you need to win a lot of gold boxes to get one, which makes the challenge fun and rewarding. But they changed an algorithm so now when you get an Epic Card it is almost exclusively an extra life card ....which shouldn’t even exist in the boxes. They are barely useful and you can earn them by going deep in the events (a fine enough reward for devoted gameplay). But every time you get one in a gold box it means the odds are you have to wait a very long time to get another epic expert, and 5 of the last 6 epic cards I’ve gotten are these extra life cards. Please fix this and stop messing with your loyal fan base

Prepare to take snapshots. I used to really love this game, but then I started to notice a few bugs that I find extremely annoying. Any time an expert is awarded outside of a box it’s never awarded. I emailed the support desk and their answer?? Take a snapshot. If there’s no proof they have no way to verify it, the answer you get is “there’s no discrepancy” even when you provide them of the time the error occurred and which expert it was. That is very frustrating especially when it looks like you leveled up on an expert only to find out you didn’t? Another issue is it’s impossible to get rare experts...do not bother wasting your gems on buying or upgrading to platinum or gold boxes. Just wait and hope you get them in one of the boxes you open. It would also be nice if they add more levels and achievements to make it interesting. After a while it gets a little boring because you aren’t gaining anything besides killing some time.

Disappointed with ads. Played a rd and then was forced to watch an ad showing a woman walking in to find (presumably) her significant other cheating on her. Then the ad shows an option for the user to leave the room or join them. Out of curiosity, I check the age rating for WWTBAM and it’s rated 4+. If you’re going to force ads in this game, please do a better job screening them to ensure they are appropriate for your audience or at least increase the age rating. I don’t believe this ad in particular is appropriate for your younger players; nor, as a parent, do I want to explain such an add to my young children. Game play is fine but number of coins from boxes is incredibly weak. I didn’t play much for a week just so I could build up coins from mystery boxes in order to be able to sit down and play a few rounds without the worry of running out of coins. An option to pay a couple $ to remove ads would be great.

Needs more questions. I enjoy the game but it would definitely be more of a challenge with a much larger supply of questions. I haven't even been playing a month and the questions are already repeating. I remember the answers to some of them that I didn't know the first time around, and if I took the trouble to write them down I'd hardly ever need a lifeline or an expert. Updating after another month. I've learned some new facts, which is fun. Who would have guessed there was such a thing as an enigmatic porcupine? Questions repeat a lot, and with the help of available experts I rarely miss an answer. As a result, I currently have four gold boxes waiting to open, and I don't get much actual game time without (a)buying gems for real money, which I won't do, or (b)declining new boxes and just playing for coins and points, which is the best option for me.

Game works but needs tweaks. In general i think the game is decent. The questions seem easier against the computer or single player, but much more difficult against humans. However I dont think life lines are fair, especially when playing real people. How is it fair that I currently have 10+ life lines available and i can continuously use them every question. So i can literally defeat my opponent, who may be much smarter than me with just life lines. I should only be able to use each life line once per game, but thats not the case. Also where is challenging of friends for game center? Is this available for facebook, or just not at all? I dont have facebook. I want to be able to play my friend directly but it doesnt seem like I can. Finally, why are the entrance fees so much for each city? The first city requires 1,000 coins to play. Yet, its extremely difficult to make that money back. For example, it takes nearly 10 correct answers to get ur coins back. Which is difficult in multiplayer. So i find myself playing 1-2 games a day only because the free boxes are giving me coins. And im winning most of my games! This is probably the most critical point of my review. The cities’ entrance fees need to be slashed in half. Id like to play a lot more but im literally prevented from playing because the games require so much coin. Im willing to change my rating if these things can be addressed.

It’s a fun game but ends up costing too much. I like this game but in order to continue to enjoy it you have to keep purchasing gems. You have to play often as well. You get put in lower level if you don’t have opportunity to play as often as before. Each level requires more time playing the game. I don’t like that it encourages gambling and buying more gems, or using all your gems up for a gambling game that you end up empty handed. They also give the impression with advertising during the game that special deals you can purchase epic cards with 4X-10x upgraded. This is false nonsense advertising. You still have to keep playing after paying for the upgrade to get the upgrade. There’s a few annoyances with this game and few discrepancies. Sometimes the answers to their questions are inaccurate or misspelled names. I enjoy playing but this game needs some improvements.

Fun new twist on a classic game. I have loved watching this game on TV since it came out. I’ve also played other versions of Millionaire. But this one has you playing against an opponent. It makes it extra exciting. So far I’m loving it. After playing this game for a week here is my updated review: the game still is fun, but it is losing its luster. Each time you get a certain number of wins you get put in a higher league. The only problem with this is when I have tried to play a game they have the matching me with people in a much higher league than I am. There is no way I could beat these people. And I don’t mean just a mild discrepancy I am in the second lowest league and they are matching me up consistently with those in the highest league. The developers need to make sure that the people that challenge each other are close to being in the same league, Otherwise it is really not a fair match. If this does not change I will delete this game because it is highly unfair and would force you to spend an in ordinate amount of money which I don’t have.

Designed to make you spend money.. The coin payments for games aren’t proportional to how much you need to participate. For example, in a game requiring 1000 coins, you’ll need to go pretty high up the order of questions just to break even. And winning 500,000 in that game gives you 1800 coins. In multiplayer games, it’s all or nothing. If you beat your opponent at say, a 200 coin question level, you either go all the way up and win the game to get all coins or you end the game with a mere 200. That’s unfair and we need to be able to collect coins atleast once we reach a certain question level. This net negative trend of coin balance means that you’ll run out of coins pretty quick and will HAVE to pay. Their rewards crates aren’t very useful either. I’ll be fine with paying if I’m not bombarded with endless ridiculous ads of other pay-to-win games, but that’s not the case. I like the game style/questions and the overall concept, but alas, this game is as greedy as any other pay to win game on he mobile market. Uninstalling.

Ability to play is slow. I really like the game however I’m only a bronze level player and I’m already getting duplicate questions quite a bit. But my worst complaint is having to wait for the winning boxes to open. So slow!!!! if you get a silver box, you have to wait eight hours to get any more lifelines her other things or pay diamonds ($$$) to open them sooner. So wait?!? you are charging me diamonds (have to buy those$$) to open my reward for winning????? Wow, what a way to reward me!! I play other games that have figured out a way to give players lots of options and tokens to play regularly and when you want that extra turn, you are willing to pay up $$. The game developers for Millionaire have missed this completely. Very sad. Give away stuff, rewards should be usable immediately...then you will get your players hooked on the game. Those people are your profit base! Improve and we will be forking over the $$. Don’t and we will get bored and leave.

Not perfect but as good as you can expect. Let me start with the fact that I hate the whole pay to play and pay to win schemes. Since all the best mobile games are set up this way now it’s unavoidable however I never spend money to buy I game items. I’ll pay to remove ads if I like the game enough. If you like the TV show you’ll like this game no doubt about it. I took one star off for the couple things I would change. Why do I have to wait 3 or 8 hours to open a box once I’ve won it? I won it why don’t I get to open it right then and there other than they want to try to get me to pay to open it? And why can I only keep 4 unopened boxes? My only other complaint is during the actual Millionaire game the only fall back spot is when you beat your opponent and win the bronze box meaning that’s the minimum you would walk away with if you get a question wrong after that point. When you wen the Silver box that should lock that point as a minimum if you get a successive question wrong. The original show had 2 or 3 tiers that you’d be lock in if you made it that far. One minor issue I had was when my expert William Shakespeare did not know the answer to a William Shakespeare question!! What is up with that? lol

Great game overall. I love this game overall as I love trivia and learning new things. Really the only thing I dislike is that if you and your opponent both win the million you have to split it. You can’t control how your opponent does so there is no way to make sure you win and they lose. In my current highest city if you both win you each get $250,000 and if you both go out on the final question you each get $225,000 so you do basically as well both losing as both winning. If you got the full amount for winning regardless of if you opponent got the final question right or not it would make it more fun and might make it easier to advance leagues. That being said I truly enjoy this game and this one issue certainly isn’t enough to make me want to stop playing, I’m just mentioning it in hope that the developers may respond and explain why it is this way.

I love this game, but room for improvement.. I would love to give WWTBAM a five star rating, and hope to one day. The format is great, it has in app purchases but I don’t feel pressured in any way to buy them, and I really enjoy playing it before bed and ending the day with some trivia. That said, it could use a wider variety of questions. Sometimes I’ll get three definition of geography questions in a row, which gets a bit old. More customization of user profiles would be nice, like the ability to use GameCenter instead of Facebook, or the ability to add profile photos without Facebook. GameCenter especially would be the biggest and most welcome change; meaning the ability to play against friends without having to use what is essentially spyware. Other than that though this game is great and I really appreciate it being free.

Good game but…. I have been playing this game literally for years, and it’s generally a good and challenging general knowledge game, but there are a few aspects of it that I’ve found very frustrating. First, although the questions are generally well-written and challenging, with a huge data base which makes them rarely repeat, there are too many UK-based questions that are too tough for this American. (I imagine some UK players feel the same about the US-based questions.) But my main critique of this game is how competitive it has become and how hard it is to advance beyond the middle levels. I have tried for many months to advance and stay above the Silver II level, but unless I play every waking hour of my day or spend a lot of real money on game premiums, it seems I will never get there. And I’m no dummy because I am actually a former contestant on the TV show. Therefore I’ve finally decided to uninstall the game. So good luck if you download this - you’ll find it fun and challenging for a while, but don’t expect to advance very far up the player ladder unless you’re willing to play almost 24/7 or invest a lot of your own money in it.

Where are My Experts when I need them. I invested a lot of time playing this game in order to collect more experts until I got 68 of them. Now this new change limited the use of my experts when I need them and the only way to do them is to pay using the hard collected jewels. You even made it more difficult to earn jewels by raising the objective limits for goals to levels that are impossible to achieve. All this is geared to force players to pay money to buy more jewels. Guess what you greedy developers, this backfired big time and I am one of many that are quitting this game for good. I invested one year playing this to collect the experts and you just made them useless to get this many experts. And don’t tell me to reach out to you through the app using the contact button because you already know my opinion from here. Aren’t you one of the developers then you can easily relay this message to the rest :-( Update: I gave it some time so that they revert the experts usage to what it used to be, but they are refusing to listen to the many complaints that they have received about it. What a bunch of greedy people. I’m sure it will back fire in your face as you deserve. I’m deleting this app now as I don’t see these greedy developers listening to anybody :-(

Thoughts on a Great game. I think this is a great game. It is challenging and fun. I wish a couple things were different however. First and biggest issue is that you CANNOT progress up the ladder without the help from lifeline cards, the 50:50 and the Ask the Audience as well as Ask the Experts. The expert cards are great and the game provides enough of them with the mystery boxes. However the lifeline cards are not provided as plentifully as you need them. You have to purchase them with gems. Gems are expensive to purchase. It would be nice if the developers who, I understand need purchases to keep the game going, reduced the cost of the gems which you absolutely have to have in order to progress up the ladder. The other thing is that if you beat your opponent going up the ladder and run out of lifelines, if you try answering your last question and miss it you drop down the ladder to wherever you beat your opponent. Annoying to have to choose not to answer the question and can walk away which you can do and get what you won on the previous rung. There are a couple other things but cost of the gems is really my biggest issue with what is otherwise a really great game.

Challenging. I’ve played the game enough to notice there has t been any repeat questions yet. Unlike other games you start to lose interest because you start winning because there is repeat questions. And like the real game show the questions get increasingly difficult. Except a handful of times I’ve noticed there’s been a freebie in the intermediate level questions and vice verse there’s been difficult questions in the beginning, maybe they’re aged or cultural questions however they aren’t easy peasy questions like they’re supposed to. I would like to mention my frustration that I’m not certain how I’m ever supposed to get the very rare experts and therefore earn the bonus expert.

Have to $$ to play. You can really only play up to four games in one sitting without paying $. The only reward for winning a game is a box which gives you coins/supplies to play again. But you can only have a maximum of four boxes at any given time. And each box takes hours to open, and only one can be counting down at once - unless you pay money to buy gems. And yes, the game gives you gems but not at a rate which would allow you to consistently open all the boxes you get. And the higher your score in the game, the better the box & the longer it takes to open. So if you’re waiting on a gold box - you’ll be waiting until tomorrow. And if your box slots are full, you get no reward even if you’ve paid coins to play a level & won the Millionaire question. Basically, unless the game changes & boxes open more quickly, this is a game you can only play a handful of times without $.

Meh. This game is fun, but as everyone says, the cost to play doesn’t meet the reward for winning. Aka, the juice ain’t worth the squeeze. Instead of writing everyone and telling them about the free mystery boxes, why not take the feedback you’re getting into consideration and just cut the fees, or increase the reward? Also you need diamonds to open boxes but the diamonds are hard to come by without paying. You promote this game as free, yet your gameplay is trying to subliminally force people to pay for “internet diamonds” and even the cost of those if you were to buy them is ridiculous. You already have ads that I’m sure are paid, the app is already developed, it’s time to quit gouging and make your app enjoyable. Sometimes you’ve got to give to get. Facebook is the biggest app on the planet, probably makes more money than we’ll ever imagine, and it’s truly free to use, strange how that works huh?

Learn something new, some glitches. I started playing 1.5 years ago and made it super far in terms of levels and then on day it wouldn’t load and kept freezing no matter what I did. I contacted customer service and they were zero help whatsoever. Just an endless loop. I had to start completely from scratch which was lame. All my gems!!! 💔 Maybe twice in my time playing I’ve noticed a question is inaccurate but for the most part it’s good information. I don’t mind that some of the questions are completely random or difficult - I often end up looking up things I’ve never heard of and learn something new! It’s a game after all! The whole money thing is completely arbitrary…the prize money doesn’t even match the money ladder and there’s very little the money can actually do. Gems are what it’s all about, and starting out you’re pretty much starved for gems until you get a little nest egg going lol. My last comment is about the new speedy version - frustrating you can’t use milestone markers…what’s the point??? There should be an option or arrow just to go to the next question instead of back to the money ladder for those who want to play rapidly, but sometimes you need to pause or use a milestone maker. Fun game, always keeps me interested!

Poor customer service. I just want to say that for as long as I’ve played this game it’s always been fun. Recently the game glitched on me after an ad and removed a box from my slot spaces leaving a space empty without my opening any boxes. Customer service was no help. The response was dismissive and condescending and the problem is with the game not retaining my won box. Service desk basically replied saying my slots were full as though that’s what my complaint addressed. The entire problem is that I began a game with one free slot, won a game which filled my slots, and then played an ad that glitched out the game and left me with a free slot where my last win had appeared. Instead of checking completely to figure out HOW that would occur, the service team blamed the customer. The glitch was annoying, but the team who responds to players was just so wrong here. They were unhelpful and incorrect. The response was WAY worse than what happened during the game.

Fun game. I really enjoy playing this game. It’s a fun game for the most part but there are a couple key issues that prevent me from giving a higher review. The first is how when you tie an opponent for the million dollar box...I get half of the prize. I think that if I answer all the questions right I should get the full million dollar prize and so should my opponent. It doesn’t make sense for both people to answer all questions correctly and not get the full prize. Second, I don’t like how the advancement process works. I have to finish in the top ten to get to the next level (silver I, II, III, etc.) okay so I get that. What I don’t like is how if I don’t finish in the top 70 I get demoted to the level I was previously on. It doesn’t make sense. Basically, I am getting penalized for either not having the time to play the game as much as other people do or I don’t spend enough money (I spend zero money on this game) to stay competitive with the players who either play all hours of the day or who spend actual money to advance in the game. I think if you don’t advance to the next tier, that you should just stay where you are and not get demoted. That is ridiculous. Third, I’m not a fan of how unreliable the common lifeline can be. How does an automated audience get a question wrong? Again, it doesn’t make sense. Like I said, I do like playing this game but the things listed above make it an okay game but not an amazing game.

Usually fun but glitchy. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been unable to cash in on box I’ve earned because of a glitch. For example, I just finished the race to riches thing and instead of being able to open the silver box and get the new expert, it froze and I had to restart the game and lost both. It happened again once I got to the 230 mark to earn another silver box. It froze and I got nothing. This has happened a lot of times. I also think it’s kind of crap that if you tie, you only get half, even on the million dollar question. I also dislike the demotions of the levels. I may not have time to play one week so I get demoted? Garbage. Also, the rare and epic characters are impossible to earn. I’ve been playing a lot for almost 2 years and there are still experts on the first and second levels I haven’t unlocked because I haven’t gotten their cards randomly. Give more diamonds and more epic cards, you cheapies... I’m irritated. I’ve spent too much time and actual money on this game. Improve it. I’m bored.

Who wants to be poor from microtransactions?. This game has some fun in it, but it is dragged down by the necessity to pay. Each game requires coins to play, and you only get those coins back if you get most of the questions right. You also receive loot boxes, but they aren’t great. Eventually you won’t be able to afford to play any games since you’ll run it of coins. At that point you will be forced to watch ads just to have barely enough coins to play a single game. Then you’ll run out of ads, but don’t worry. You’ll only have to wait 3 hours to open a loot box that has 50 coins (which is a far cry from the minimum 1,000 coins you need for one game). After about an hour of playing I was unable to play the game anymore. I’ve opened loot boxes for a couple days, but am no where close to being able to play. Also, the ads stopped working altogether. You’ll have no trouble playing this game if you are willing to empty your wallet. Otherwise, you should probably move on.

Making game more fun.. I Have enjoyed playing this game for a while now. There are minimal problems. When I’m trying to watch ads for diamonds etc once I get to the point where I’ve earned the diamonds it freezes and not only does not give me the diamonds I am locked out until the next day. Sometimes the game itself freezes and I can’t win. It gets very frustrating. I always feel “behind the eight ball”. Never can get ahead. There should also be a way to correct a mistake. For example wanting to use change question and it wrong icon the one beside it goes into function instead. It would be better if in some way you could void that accidental choice. All in all this game is challenging and fun. Maybe doing a coupon game day once a month that you can earn etc. I thank you for your time .

Great fun, but frustrating for non-Europeans. Update: I see what others are saying about this game being rigged as are most game apps that have in-app purchases. Once you are out of lifelines and especially low on diamonds (which are needed to unlock the boxes you win that are full of goodies such as coins and lifelines) you will get many “oddball” questions. These are usually questions people in a specific profession or hobby would know, but most other people would not. You will keep losing coins and become stuck to wait many hours for one box to unlock or buy diamonds and coins. I have played this for about a month now and although it is fun and challenging, I would say about two-thirds of the questions are written by individuals from the UK or other parts of Europe. This gets especially frustrating when old sayings are brought up or slang terms are asked for. The lions share of sports questions are about soccer so be careful when answering questions about football - most of the time it is not American football. Is there an American version of this?

Really enjoying!. I like that I can answer many questions without “help” but I also like that the more I play the more experts I earn to help me. Yes, I do only play a few games at a time (because I don’t spend any real money), but I don’t mind. I even set my phone alarms so I remember to open my free boxes every 4 hours. I love the new feature that lets me see when my experts will be available again. I would like the chance to earn gems more often and I would like to be able to see how many lifelines I have available before I begin another round. Oh I also like all the new things I’m learning and it’s funny how many things I didn’t realize I knew from reading novels and kids books.

Should be called UK version. First, if you’re concerned this is one of those games where you pay to play, it’s possible to get buy without making in-app purchases. I paid for the game to get rid of the egregious ads, which pop up every single game, but I’ve managed to play without buying gems and money. Still, the developers do everything they can to get your money. It’s kind of gross. But beyond this the game itself is fun. I’ve played for over a month and I’m impressed by the low rate of repeat questions. There are a lot of familiar themes they love—e.g. Madonna, nursery rhymes, and soccer. The biggest annoyance for me is the game or developers appear to be U.K.-based. There are so so many questions based on British history and culture that I have absolutely no idea about….so boring. Finally just deleted the game.

Please End Demotions!. I thoroughly enjoy playing this game. I’ve only recently started actively trying to climb higher in the standings and levels. This takes a commitment of time and money. I’ve given both. I did not know all the rules. So, after working very hard to get to my next level, I was shocked to be demoted shortly thereafter, apparently for not maintaining a certain standing. This made me upset and angry, to the point that I almost quit playing. And when I look at the totals of those rated in the top 10, I wonder, do these people play 24 hours a day? Do they spend exorbitant amounts of money? Do they cheat? I am not willing to do any of those things. So, PLEASE, leave my level alone, since I worked hard to achieve that but will likely not be able to maintain my position. I realize that in the grand scheme of life, this is just a meaningless game. I play because it’s fun and keeps my brain active, especially during this quarantine craziness. I ask that you appreciate the effort players put in and respect that, by eliminating demotions. If not, I will take my money and effort elsewhere.

2 main issues. 1. Free ads are never available so you can never redeem the pittance that is the free rewards in the reward cinema section. Literally the ads are never available so that’s annoying and a whole component of the game you can’t use. 2. Even more annoying sometimes you lose even if you win. What I mean is for example it cost $500 to enter the competition but if your opponent loses before you make $500 you’re still losing because you’re only guaranteed to make as far as they reached unless you win it all (unreasonable). So if you beat your opponent at the $300 you “win” the round but you’re still out $200 cause it cost you $500 to get in. If you “win” you should at least break even. Stupid. There are only a few ways around this- one is a flag which they give you 5 at the start except NEVER tell you how to use it or what it’s for which caused me to lose them using them trying to figure out what they do (hold your spot after you’ve beat an opponent and passed their question rank). The only other way is to win every single round til you get to the million dollars. That’s it. If you answer 10 more questions after beating your opponent but don’t make it to the million you’ll be rewarded for none of it. If you beat your opponent and make it to the silver box you get silver box rewards but you still don’t get the M coins for all the questions you answered to get there. Very dumb. 🥴

Really good game but. I really do enjoy this game a lot and I play this game a lot every single day, especially with the opponent making it even funnier to play. I just don’t like the ads they are becoming every annoying, For example every question I get wrong or move to the next stage there is always an ad. The coins are also annoying to having to pay coins to play compared to the other versions where you don’t, it just seems a little less fun. Also can you make the questions a little tougher to play some of them are pretty basic even for a third grader to know. I know I won’t know them but I like the challenge and love to learn, compared to getting the money. Just little tweaks would make the game better. One other thing can you limit the amount of help given to 50 to 50 and the audience just seems boring with all the options given. Making the two options makes the game harder and interesting.

Love it!!. This is my favorite solo game app! Feels like authentic game show, including the graphics, the tense music, and the humorous wrong answers on the lower money questions. I like that there’s a limit to how many games i can play before running low on coins or lifelines or filling my mystery box slots and having to wait a few hours or another day. It keeps me from bingeing! I think the game strikes a really nice balance in the speed at which we progress through levels, collect experts and upgrades, &c. Also i like how the 4-hour mystery boxes gradually increase in the number of coins they award. I was stuck in the first city for a while, but now that i’m playing higher cities i’m also receiving more coins to afford them. No complaints! I did find it ironic once that William Shakespeare didn’t know an answer about his own work, but that struck me as amusing (i realize those are somewhat randomly distributed) rather than annoying. Finally i love the structure of the game, and always having that next goal to play toward. Thanks!!

Disappointed in payout ratio. When I saw this game was super excited download it, but I am disappointed that I get 15 to 20 minutes of gameplay a day. Even with the mystery box that you can collect every three hours it is not pay out nearly enough to be able to enjoy this game too it’s fullest capability. UNLESS you spend money. I understand the logistics of the game. Its not worth playing when spend 1000 to 2000 on just ONE GAME and only receive half of that (at best) back for winning the match. I literally wait three hours to be able to play one to maybe two games and within 10 minutes if I just so happen to lose I have to wait another three hours just to play another 10 minutes. I know I can avoid that by spending money but with a game plan as it is it’s not worth me spending the two dollars to get 5000 coins so I can play for another 20 minutes that day. I personally wouldn’t advise this game to anybody unless the payout ratio is a little bit better. This game is starting to feel like a waste of space in my storage because I i’m not able to play it long enough to enjoy it before I run out of coins. But it is a great game and the user interface is very nice and the graphics are great and has lotta potential just for poor people like me it’s not worth keeping it on the phone or tablet.

Experts?!!. Where are all my experts?!! They used to get replenished, every so often!! What’s the point in collecting them if they are not available? Also when you win the bronze box the pause and animation for silver and gold is time consuming and stupid, can we revert to a previous version?! So tried to play with this update, i got 4 experts and when I choose them to help they are in red or yellow NOT ONE IN GREEN!! Including Shakespeare on a Shakespeare question!! Are you for real now?!! So if you have 4 available they don’t even know the answer!!! Lol how dumb, I’m removing this app. Update: so their response was this!! “Exciting lifeline” they call it while most people hate it Thanks for your message. We've introduced an exciting new way to use Experts: the Ask an Expert lifeline! You'll now be able to use this lifeline just like any other. Ask an Expert lifelines enable you to access your inventory of Experts. You collect these lifelines from Mystery Boxes, and they can also be purchased in-game using gems. Remember though - after you use each Expert, they may need to rest before they can be used again. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts about this new lifeline with us. Please be assured that we are always listening to our players, and your feedback is important to us! We would be happy to share your feedback with the team so we can keep providing the best game experience for all players. Thanks again for reaching out, take care.

Was great. I used to really loved this game until they changed the ask the expert lifeline. I went from having 45 experts to only being able to use 1 every now and then. Are you kidding?? Before you had a chance of making it to the million dollar question, now without the experts good luck getting to even a mid level question. Everyone is losing on the first 5-10 questions. Now it’s almost impossible to advance in levels and you blow through your coins so quickly. I think the change was another move to force players to buy coins, and like so many other formerly great apps, they went the micro transactions route to chase the dollar and force players to spend money. Now I don’t play nearly as much as I used to which means I never move up and can’t win any of the goal related experts, but also, what’s the point of collecting experts at all? If you can only use 1 or two whenever you get an expert lifeline token, you never need more than 10 since they refresh every 8 hours. The developers just destroyed their own game model. I used to play when there was a chance of maybe winning, and also to collect experts and advance levels. Now all those reasons are pointless since you can’t win, collecting experts is useless since you can never use them, and it takes forever to advance since you lose before you get to higher point questions. Nice job guys.

The Best Game. I love this game. However, over a year ago, the developers began to allow people to skip questions they got wrong. Therefore, you can buy a win. I preferred to use my own intellect and lifelines to secure wins. The game is still fun but not as much as it was. Some questions are easy, some are hard, based on your nationality and your age, as well as your general knowledge. I wish that certain entertainment questions were eliminated. As an American, I have had access to most of the Monty Python material but am at as loss regarding “The East Enders”. I don’t know how popular “ Leave it Beaver” and “ The Simpson” are in Great Britain. Eliminate those questions and let us compete on intellect with limited lifelines available. Thank you.

Trivia seekers halt. In this games title you will find fast or long play style friendly gaming, accurate to the show audio , a wide range of challenges easy to hard not insanely difficult questions and best of all no pay walls no need to you get plenty of loot boxes that take a little while to open but they are worth the wait they give plenty of help I only write reviews that I feel are deserved and would give this a 4.5 and I’m very critical as a reviewer no complaints would give a 5 but thats for games i consider may be made once every 3-4 years 🤪 like I said critical critic ! But like I said no need to pay but since I appreciate this games devs for a solid game with no pay to win or no paywall system I will make regular small purchases if I enjoy it this much in a month I will purchase something significant good job devs get some rest 🥱🥱

Experts and British Football and Opponents. I don’t like the heavy emphasis on expert cards- every winner’s box has at least one and often three. But they do you no good if you don’t have an Ask an Expert option. I’d rather have more Ask the Audience and Ask an Expert cards. Secondly, I’m American and I really don’t care about British soccer (sorry, “football”). I’m sure that the British players really don’t care about “real” American football. Would it really be so hard to have several different sets of questions? Lastly, having an “opponent” is just a stupid embellishment. There’s no way that there is enough computing power and storage to keep copies of each player’s games. It’s all a matter of a programmed sequence and I’ve figured when my opponent will miss at the $5000 or $7000, etc levels in a game. The tv show (at least the Regis Philbin original) didn’t have opponents and this game doesn’t need them either

Not impressed. The game could be much more satisfying if it actually worked likectgextv version. The difficulty of the questions is in no way equal to the increase in prize money. First questions are often more of a 100,000 question and the million? Is usually a simple question. Experts with 3 stars in a category get a question wrong or don’t know the answer 75% of the time. Similar with ask the audience. If you are fortunate to make it through the million dollar question it says you are a millionaire but you only get double what you paid in coins to play. I’ve seen multiple questions that there is no correct answer listed. It says a correct one but I know none of the listed answers are correct. This game could easily be 5 stars but has many flaws. Fix them and I will upgrade my review. Just today the question was in the human body what is the hamstring. That is a muscle. However the game said that was wrong and gave tendon as the correct answer. I lost because of tgat. This game is quite flawed.

Would really enjoy it if I had the time to play. In 30 mins a busy person can be asked to do something. As I can’t afford to waste any of my pennies on gaming, I find it sad that I need to watch so many adds and when I try to double my money (yes, it brings out my competitive side - so much potential to enjoy if I were “fiscally ENfranchised” or “time-wealthy”) I’m constantly losing it to reality. I’d have enjoyed to go on a game show too, but this particular show also has it’s downfalls there too. Walking away - yes I know. That doesn’t always help when I can’t afford more than one lifeline. Yes, I’ve won the million twice in my first two days... But I don’t feel rich!

Could be fun, but it’s not.. Ohh boy, it’s one of those games where you have to wait to open your chests (loot boxes). To speed up process you have to spend in-game currency (diamonds) that can be purchased by real money. There are collectibles in the game to get people who have a gambling addiction to get the collectibles that they need from the chests without actually knowing what they will receive upon opening aforementioned chests. You don’t really play in real time with your opponents. You wait for hours to have coins to play the game. Ads on the other hand, I do not mind because it a free-to-play, so stop your whining about ads in the review section. Just another cheap game to get people to spend money on it.

A Brilliant Game. This game is awesome! The questions are wonderfully varied, enabling players to learn a lot, whether they get answers right or not. The lifelines it offers are also great. The only thing I would ever criticise is the increased price of playing with each new city the player reaches. Thanks to the developers for bringing the joy of the quiz show-turned-game to everyone!

A fun challenge. I look forward to playing a game each afternoon. I collect some ‘helping hands’ during the day, which I use to confirm my OWN answer. Nice to have that ‘back up’. What I like about this game, is that I can control when I ‘tap’ to ask the next question, so if I’m interrupted, the game doesn’t just keep on going without me, as some games do. I like to see my ranking compared with others, too.

Good value don’t have to pay. Free boxes often. Good value, don’t have to buy anything! Preferred old version where it a least asked next question when you were ready, not just continuous, and my flags are gone to use, but I win them ? Free mystery box every 3 hours, free diamonds and quite easily to get lower boxes, higher are achievable.

Too expensive!!!. Fantastic game! However basically the only way to move up is to spend spend spend! The temptation to buy is extremely high. The game has been developed to earn money for the developers. It is a shame that when you win an aspect of the game the rewards are very low. They are just enough to tempt you to continue. It would be great if prizes could be increased to allow you the opportunity to move up the rankings. The game is really interesting with great questions. It gives the brain a workout.

It’s ok. This game is fun and takes any spare time you may have at work. However...as previously reviewed the ads are annoying and the constant asking for money is shameless and pathetic. Is it really necessary to constantly badger users with screens soliciting my hard earned? Is this all developers have rather than gaining income from excellent and skilful programming that users are happy to pay for. End rant good luck

Totally addictive if you love quizzes. Once you get into the game you just get hooked and don’t want to quit even if you win the million.. the questions are often random and you need to be an all rounder to answer them correctly plus beware of the trick questions don’t jump the gun & answer too quickly but always take another look & read the question carefully.. can’t stop now going back to the game.. good luck 🙂

Bad!. So you earn diamonds slowly to use so you can speed up your rewards or you can buy them. If you don’t have a lifeline avilable that’s fine they add a diamond price to the particular lifeline button you don’t have (the price changes depending on how rich you are in diamonds) so you can press it and loose all your diamonds by mistake. They are not cheap to buy and it takes ages to collect but at the press of button without warning they are gone. To put in perspective you can get 10 diamonds as a reward and they make you watch an ad to double so you have 20 to press a lifeline by accident cost me 140 diamonds and it was question 1. This game is just trying to empty your pockets. Also the questions until you beat your opponent are easy then when you beat them the questions are insane! not worth your time! There are so many better games than this in 2020.

Poor rewards. The game itself is a good game with good graphics works well however They have the algorithms for the rewards in millionaire vault set so you will never I repeat NEVER no matter how many gems you spend (I have spent thousands)receive any of the major rewards except couns to which I now have 650 million but then there’s nowhere to spell them 🤷‍♂️ and sadly there are some very good ones there,,it is very frustrating Don’t even bother with the bonus box when you open your chest because the reward is far far less than the amount of gems it cost to get it 🤬 Oh and by the way don’t worry about contacting their support crew as they’ll give you every excuse under the sun but not attempt to fix anything or listen to what you have to say it’s very sad as it turns what could be probably one of the best games in the store to an average game that gets frustrated ☹️

Good but…. Silly how we can only have four treasure chests at once… makes playing somewhat worthless, especially because I don’t have $ for diamonds 💎 to open the boxes quicker!! So when you already have 4 treasure chests you can’t claim another (from your win) unless you have diamonds to hurry up the Unlocking process immediately after you’ve won another chest!

Way too many events and pop-ups!!. I downloaded this game because I like the show, and I just wanted a simple quiz/trivia game. I deleted it out of frustration because there are always so many events, or goals, or challenges that when you open the game, you have to close like four pop ups just to play a game, then when it’s over, it takes forever to be able to play again because it goes through all the “special event tokens” you’ve won during that game, and there are three or four different types of token for different events happening simultaneously, as well as winning xp, and coins, and anything else it needs to go through before you properly finish the match. Plus, after the match, when it takes you back to the home screen, just like when you first open the app, you have to close several pop-ups again! I usually just end up closing the app because I’m so sick of waiting. ALSO, they say they strive to be diverse and not have only American questions, but how is anyone from other countries meant to know about American football teams? As if you’d ever see a question on there about an Australian rugby team, if you can have questions like “what’s the name of the Chicago basketball team” or whatever you can have questions like “what’s the name of the Brisbane NRL team”. Don’t get me wrong, they do have good questions and I like playing, it’s just so annoying I couldn’t take it anymore.

Do t spend real money. It’s a good game to play casually but remember it’s only a game and there is no need to inflate your ego in order to look good by spending real money. I suppose the only thing I don’t like apart from the ads which are always bugged is the fact that you are playing bots 95% of the time. As you win repeatedly it will raise the winning question until you will have to win at a million after about 5 or 6 wins. Good for knowledge retention

Good, but if you get a million dollar question wrong, you fall back down to your opponents level. Overall good game with some great content, however, if your opponent gets a $2000 question wrong for example, and you excel onto say a $500,000 question and you get that wrong, why on earth would you drop down to your opponents level and only receive the prizes for the $2000 question? It seems very silly to me and it turns me off playing the game because i know if i dont get the million dollar question right, you automatically go back down to your opponents level and get the small rewards instead of the rewards for the $500,000 question. I would suggest you change that.

Intelligent game!. Really good game! Questions are a mixture between silly, easy and hard, with the occasional impossible one thrown in. It is possible to play and progress up the ladder without purchasing credits or stars. Build up your experts and use them. However I often fail because I have done something stupid, like click on the wrong box in a panic because time is running out! I have learned a lot of trivia and some interesting facts playing this game!

Good for Americans!. I would be loving this game except for two things. One is the fact that you have to wait through an ad at the end of every game. I would prefer to pay a fee to stop the ads altogether than endure them, over and over again. The second is that so many of the questions relate to American things, that it gives others a disadvantage. Many questions could not be answered by a non-American, as they are things unlikely to be known of elsewhere, even if you have a pretty good general knowledge. If it wasn’t for these irritations, I would give the game a much higher rating.

Could be good but is just ok. this game has a lot of potential but you have to suffer through 3 major flaws. 1. Constant and unavoidable ads. Literally after every game. 2. Inconsistent opponents. Some opponents will be with you up to the last question, the lack of a cap means you could make it all the way to the last question with no reward or with a bronze box for your trouble. Really needs a cap on opponents. 3. Since the latest update they removed the checkpoint for silver boxes. Now if you get a question wrong you go back to where you beat the opponent. This could mean making it all the way to the end and falling all the way back to the first question. On a seperate note, I contacted the feedback department regarding bugs and issues and despite the generic late response. Nothing has been fixed months later.

Really amazing game -one thing though-. I love this game dont get me wrong! There are so much more pros than cons. I little tiny bit feedback though; I didnt know that if you didnt play for a while it would demote you down a level, and I didnt have a choice my ipad broke down for quite a while and i was devastated when i found out the news. Over all this game did help me to find out things i didnt know before and to test my knowledge!

Recent Improvements made have elevated the game. I have played this game in a daily basis for the last couple of years. It used to be such a slow paced game having to wait a lot during and between the game. However recent improvements made have been so awesome and I have made the experience so much more better not to mention addictive. Also the questions asked have been improved as well making the questions more relevant and based more of common knowledge. The adds were so repetitive, the same adds over and over again. A great and refreshing change to the adds has been refreshing. A few months ago I would of rated this game a 3 on a good day, but now it really deserves a full rating of 5. Well done guys this game has been improved for the user and I am loving playing this game more than ever, still a daily habit to get my fix. Love it!!! Thanks

May as well just watch ads. *** Update: well done on the pre-scripted response that demonstrates my point that you don’t listen to feedback. Ads are acceptable - the ridiculous frequency and length of them is not - plus you’ve ignored what I said about the animations. Whatever, deleting. *** You’ll spend more time in this game watching annoying lengthy ads for the usual terrible other games, and repetitive pointless slow animations that can’t be skipped (ugh those stupid dancing chests) and pop-ups between games, than you will answering trivia. Also pesters you for feedback constantly - which they obviously disregard. Much better quiz apps out there.

Millionaire Game .... great but..... I have really enjoyed the game overall. The best part are the questions that interest me enough to seek further information.... so I’m learning new things everyday. However, I find it is so time consuming trying to stay in the top levels. It seems impossible to go to the next level without 1) using money for opening gift boxes and 2) spending many hours competing. So I’m content staying in ‘gold’ level and keeping a level head about time spent on the game. I’m still using the questions to take my internet searches to new places. 😊

Frozen… :(. I have absolutely loved this game for well over a year. I was playing at several times a day and all of my breaks. I loved all of the questions and the graphics. But now the game has frozen. I have tried to uninstall it and reinstall it but it still comes back frozen.I’m devastated because I had a lot of coins and quite a few gems. I have now had to find a new game to play every day. If it can ever be resolved I would love to stop playing it again!

Wrong answers. Very annoying when some answers are wrong. Example, question on how many people watched Diana and Charles’ wedding. Answer is 1 billion (750 million according to Wikipedia but could be up to max of 1 billion). This was a million dollar question and I got it supposedly wrong with 2.5 billion being the right answer. This was not the first time and I understand that this could happen sometimes. Fact checkers are critical in a game like this!

Rating. I gave the game a 4 because it’s a great game and fun to play. I didn’t give it a 5 because there are too many American based questions that the rest of the world wouldn’t have a clue about. I live I’m Australia and if I made an app and weighted it with questions about Australia most Americans wouldn’t have a clue about those either. It’s not a fair playing field when that is the case.

Great App!!!!!. This app is so fun and an excellent thing to do as a pass time. It’s better than other games like temple run because it boosts your knowledge. So while you are having fun, you are learning too. The app is extremely fast. There is not any lag. That’s why I think this app is perfect!!!

Insane Ads. This is actually a pretty fun game, but has a couple of major flaws. First, unless you buy extra coins you can only play a few times a day, which makes it hard to really care about your ratings or the game itself. Second, the ads are just nuts. You get an ad after every single game, but instead of allowing you to skip it after a few seconds like pretty much every other mobile game out there, this app makes you view it in its entirety or lose whatever you win from the game. I’m not going to waste 30 seconds of my life to watch an ad for words with friends 2 for the 47th time. Update: thanks for the canned response addressing nothing! Not sure why you bothered... but hey it’s just a mobile game and I’ve already stopped playing.

Not bad but... I’m not convinced you’re actually playing someone and not a computer. My answers are immediately matched by my competitors. I don’t know how that could be. Occasionally I’ve been asked the same question in the same game. On one occasion my supposed competitor actually answered wrongly on the second occasion of being asked the same question. That smells like an automated and not human answer. Obviously the game is designed to get you to buy features. If you don’t then it seems like you really can’t progress on merit. It’s a shame as I like the look and mental engagement of the game, despite the insane amount of US based questions.

Never again. This game was simply frustrating from the constant interruption of ads after only having it downloaded for about 15 minutes to the constant wasted time collecting the prizes which should just go into my bank when moving back to the Home Screen. Overall this app needs a lot of work to become enjoyable, would not recommend downloading if you care about wasted time sitting waiting for 30 second ads to finish. 👎👎👎

I enjoy playing this game. I enjoy playing this game. I particularly enjoy that you can receive rewards from simply playing without having to purchase them. Rather, patience is required to be able to open a ‘box’ and receive rewards. I am enjoying the mix of easy and difficult questions and the fact that the questions are a mix of information whereas some quiz games are very based on questions based on North American general knowledge, especially sports.

The ads ruined it for me. The game is great fun with the one on one format a lot of fun. As you progress rounds costs more and more and if you want to play more than twice a day you will need real work money input to but packs, gems and coin. What has ruined it for me is the ads after every single round. I spend more time watching the ads than playing the rounds. The more I see the ads the less I want to play. Just makes me want to delete the game.

Million dollar expectations. Seriously good looking game with potentially engaging game play (questions are a little too easy though). The questions are slowly becoming more multinational, which is good, however they are still weighted heavily toward the US market. Unfortunately the actual game marketing strategy leaves us in no doubt that it is all about the money. Nice enough effort however I’m not going to ‘invest’ here. Developer, please don’t respond, you don’t need to.

Love games dislike going back in score. I love playing this game. I have a major dislike of going back to bronze then I have to get back to silver one star. Please change this . I have been playing this game from when it started. I am getting to the stage where I will delete it. Another complaint . I have over 4 million coins so what can I do with them . Nothing really. Why can’t you develop something that allows players to use those coins when playing a game. Say if you answer a question incorrectly you can use a 1000 coins to have another choice.

Just like the real thing. I love watching who wants to be a millionaire, and this is exactly like the real thing. I can’t even describe how I feel when playing the game. Even when I lose I’m still having the time of my life. The creator must have been as smart as William Shakespeare to make the best game in the world. People say that this game isn’t that good, but they don’t know what they are talking about, because this game deserves to win an award. It is a really smart idea making a game of a famous game show, so I would like to thank the creators for making the game. Also the game is not only fun but it is also educational. I don’t know most of the answers, when the answer is released I find out what the answer is and I learn from that.

Bad. Lucy M Feb 11, 20:32 EST rip off I think its really unfair of you to change the way players now have. to access their experts. The reason is clear as to why you changed it .... money. You have to now purchase Diamonds to be able to access the unlimited amount of experts you have collected. I will also provide this feedback to the app page. And this was their reply llen James (Uken Games) Feb 12, 09:01 EST Hi Lucy, Thanks for your message.

Review. Hello, In my opinion I think that “millionaire” is great. It heaps of fun play, the questions are simple but still challenging enough that I won’t get bored. I think you have created a great game and you should be very proud of yourselves. I like the fact that if you get a question wrong it shows you the answer after so that we’re learning something new. I think you could make it a bit easier to get money so people who aren’t particularly good at the game can play more often. Thx

Fun game but serious flaws. So the game is fun until you run out of coins which is pretty quickly. It is annoying that you only receive the amount at the question you bet your opponent at. There should be staggering levels (like on the original tv game) like if you pass the the third question you get that no matter if you fail the fourth question and regardless of what your opponent gets. Also, couldn’t find the opt out button or whatever so when I wanted to opt out I couldn’t so make it more obvious (if it is actually there) The waiting is a real downer and I tend to delete the game if it takes ages to play again or is just a money grab game.

#notusuallyareviewer. I really enjoy playing the game and it is addictive. The graphics are good and game design works well. I enjoy playing against real life competitors. A few areas where I think the game can be improved. 1. If you want to advance adequately, you are “forced” to buy gems as the game rewards are predominately in coins. It would be great if you could exchange coins for gems. 2. Some of the questions are very American. Don’t mind history or cultural questions about North America but some are about advertising or NFL details???? 3. Every now and again there is a glitch where my correct answer is not registering. It is as if it freezes. Frustrating. Other than that, I really enjoy testing my trivia knowledge against those of others.

Very American-Centric Questions. Really good game and I like the element of moving up scoreboards for added competitive-ness and the graphics are good. There are a LOT of ads, but to be expected for a free game. The only real downside is a lot of the questions are very American-centric. When starting a game the beginning questions are supposed to be easy, but occasionally you’ll get questions that literally no-one, except someone who has watched American television ads/been through the American schooling system, would know. This app is available internationally, so questions about Native American chiefs etc are way out of my depth.

Can’t handle the ads anymore.. I understand you guys need ad revenue to keep this game free to play but it’s taking away any emersion I had going sadly. I played for about a month and got to Silver 2 where things seem to start getting more grindy and competitive, though I feel I spend maybe 30% of my time playing and the rest closing ads and windows. Seems recently you added the ability to skip all the reward animations which is good but then I got stuck watching full 30sec ads, I lose either way.

Great game, love it BUT!!. the 💎 are too expensive for what you get, as they go quickly if u r rushing the opening of boxes to get the life lines.. it is not fun to play if u keep losing because u have no lifelines to help out, and they r ridiculously expensive for the amount u get.. I would recommend dropping the prices significantly , or upping the quantities u get signicantly.. since u can’t use your winnings money to purchase them like u can if u need money u can use your 💎 but not the other way around.. You would retain more players if did these things.. also giving more life lines like the 50/50 and new questions would be really good , because to purchase those with 💎 is also expensive for what u get.. not all people earn enough real money to play this game , and when u have to wait so long to get some lifelines, it puts u off and u find other games to play instead.. if u did these suggestions you would make just as much money based on turnover and retaining players and attracting new players.. the only reason I have not recommended this to family and friends is because it’s too expensive to play..

Incorrect Answers. I reported an incorrect answer - storage area in a car, according to the game the correct answer was 'trunk', which would be fine if one of the other answers wasn’t 'boot'. I pointed out that 'boot' was the correct answer in many countries outside the US. I received a reply 'We strive to include as much diverse content as possible for all players. We continue to add more questions and categories all the time, so rest assured that you'll see more for players from every location!' Obviously my report hadn’t been read properly. I replied again, pointing that out, and haven’t heard anything since. Not good PR! This isn’t the first time I’ve found incorrect answers in the game. It can be very frustrating.

Game Crashes. While I enjoy the game I am getting increasingly frustrated when the game crashes during the annoying ads. When I reload I have lost what I have won in that game as it doesn’t remember the point where it crashed. Please move the ads to come on before you start a new game. I just lost a Gold Box because it crashed before awarding it to me. Thanks. Paul.

Fun. This game is a fun time waster, and you can spend a good amount of time playing daily without spending money. My only real problem is that a LOT of questions are based around common knowledge for Americans, so as an Australian, I constantly fail on “easy” questions because of it. This app would be a lot more fun if it was more centred on general knowledge instead of focusing so much on one country’s history.

Adds and chests. The adds are VERY annoying after a game, even though I know why they exist. The chest prizes (experts coins and help like 50/50 could be more larger. Also there are a few mistakes in the game. A few spelling mistakes have come up, and at least 3 questions I had the answers to were deemed incorrect (I later checked them on the internet to see if my suspicions were right, and they were).

Doesn't support multitasking!. This is a cute fun little app to pass the time on the bus or waiting for the kettle to boil. There have been occasions where answers are incorrect, but developer is usually quick to respond and claims to fix them ASAP. However, and very weirdly for 2020, it doesn't support multitasking..! You're having a fun moment playing along, then you receive a call, or the kettle boiled and you go to make a tea. You come back and all your progress is deleted because the app has reset after waiting for you for two minutes. It has decided that you were away for too long and your progress up the ladder is lost. Your opponent wins. Your money to play has been spent. It's worse than a woman scorned - you must keep paying it attention or it punishes you. This is why I will personally NEVER spend actual money on it - they choose to cheat and penalise those with even a semblance of a life outside the app. Apart from all that, it's pretty okay as single player games go.

Too US centric, Greedy monetisation. The game itself is quite well engineered, but it feels like the questions are way too US centric. A big thing is that there is always a question that assumes you’ve read the Bible. The monetisation is too greedy. They should add a free to play tier with low rewards for people who don’t want to buy coins. If you insist on letting me leave your app I’m more than happy to oblige! Also please let me scrap reward boxes I don’t want. This game’s development was driven by penny pinchers, not passion.

Relies on coins won from games to pay more games. This game allocates you a number of coins when you first begin, and then from the first level requires 500 coins to enter, and each level completed to the million will win you a certain amount of coins. I’m not against this way as it’s similar to other games I’ve played although I’m unhappy with this game because the level required to just win back the 500 is half way up the board. This is not a game I’d recommend to someone who just wants to play and is okay with getting answers wrong, or wants to learn more random facts. While the first questions are usually easy, it is difficult to maintain a streak to win back the amount of coins necessary to move on to further map locations that cost/win more. There is a reward system for winning games and you can unlock boxes that win you items to further your position within the online community, but it is unlikely that you will win back enough money to enter a new round, leaving you waiting days to be able to play again.

Another game by money-centric, greedy thug developers. Avoid. Poorly thought-out gameplay structure. Ridiculously poor, in fact. One of the worst. Severely engineered to corral the player into buying more coins. Not even a gentle tilt into buying, it’s a steep slope from the outset. I was coining within 20 minutes of downloading the app despite not losing a single game in that time. Your buy-in is not returned upon winning (which is always the way these games work) and once won, you only get a pithy percentage of your original buy-in unless you get all the way to the million dollar question ... which happens once in 59 games if you’re lucky, brainy, or coin the hell out of the game. In short, your coin stack will disappear quicker than the time limit you get per question. Developers, wake up to yourselves. I see there’s a lot of reviews which echo my sentiments here, and still you persist in ignoring the obvious. Start listening.

Almost like the real thing. In the early stages it’s easy to progress. As you get higher you have to reach higher targets to get free gems and the only way to do that is to spend more. Was not impressed when the cost to redeem boxes was doubled. Most of the bonus events are great and earn good bonuses but can be frustrating when the bonus cards you win are for experts you have already maxed out. Makes winning them totally useless. Great game but can be expensive.

Updates Ruining the game. I have been playing this game now for nearly a year and during this time have seen how the game has been continually modified so that unless you spend actual money then you’ll not be able to play the game soon at all. The latest update allows only 35 gems to be collected in a 24 hour period, instead of previous 100, basically means its become virtually impossible to play anymore, without spending real cash, such a shame, have enjoyed playing it for so long but guess all good things come to an end sadly. This is basically the straw that has broken the camels back, I would have given this 5 stars when I started, now the game has become unplayable in its current form. 😢

What happened with the update. Ever since the new update I can’t use my experts and only gives me a few to use

Expert. I really loved this game, but since you decided to “change” or “remove” the experts, I don’t appreciate it anymore.

Don’t bother. The game cheats. It does NOT pay you game coins for adds watched as promised. Impossible to advance past a certain level without buying (with real money) a large amount of game gems.

Great game / Good for the Brain / hardly ever repeats questions. Love it!

App is frozen. Says I’m not connected to Internet however every other app works except this ne can’t load points check status tried closing re starting as well

Ruined with excessive ads. If you like watching ads after EVERY match then this is your game! In those ads, if you like simplistic games being advertised as “brain games” then whoa, are you in for a treat! Finally, if you like inconsistent challengers, repetitive questions and annoying money grab “deals” then wait no more! Download today!

Je. Use to be better now to play you have to click 100 times grrrrr

I want my experts back!!. Thumbs down on the new update that limits the use of experts. I don’t like it at all and judging from the recent reviews, a LOT of other players feel the same. Please listen to you users and change it back!! Edit: judging by the form letter response to my email, you don’t care about your players, you just want us to spend our $$$.

Do more research. If you’re going to have a trivia game - you need to 100% sure your answers are correct… Jesus (if born at all) was not born in 1AD. Most sources put him 2-4 BC. Get your act together.

???. Hours and hours played collecting experts that I can no longer use when needed? Who is the genius that thought this was a good idea? You need to seriously rethink this or get ready for a lot of players deleting this game. Lots of other games out there to download. Change it back to the way it was!!!

Deleting this game. Ever since the new upgrade, game does not load properly, and when it does, it says I am offline.

please give us the option to revert to v46. Version 47 came with so many bugs, the game could not be played enjoyably. Since today, the app keeps crashing before I even get the chance to go to the menu to contact the authors. Please, just give us the chance to revert to the previous version.

Millionaire. It’s a good game and it helps the brain with learning and remembering

Use to be fun. Use to be fun till they got greedy with having to use gems for experts, last straw for me.Who ever made that decision to change the access to experts was not very bright and is greedy by pretty much wanting you to buy gems to use experts that you earned. Not fun anymore

Game stopped working. Was enjoying the game very much and now it’s completely frozen and not opening it is stuck on repairing ladder. Very frustrating.

Great Trivia. Harder than I thought. Very happy I chose this one.

Horrible mechanics. This game had a lot of potential, and I love trivia game-show style games on iOS. But this game is such a money grab I can’t even believe it. First of all, the prize money is only determined by where my OPPONENT screws up... so I have to HOPE I get to 1 million$ and take it all otherwise I can ONLY win the amount from the level my opponent got to... That is so stupid. If I got to 250k I should get the prize associated... it takes all the fun out of it when you don’t have any money left to play because the questions are extremely hard and you have to guess... then you’re expected to spend real money to get out of a jam so you can still win the million and get back double your bet you put out to play, once you’ve exhausted all your lifelines.. That’s harsh! The gameplay is fun, but not worth the money you’re expected to put out just to keep playing it.

Great game. Enjoy playing this game almost daily. Like that questions are not so USA related. Some of the “easy” ones are even difficult as I have no idea what they are taking about but still fun.

They changed the game!!!. This used to be one of the best Trivia games until recently when they changed the use of ‘experts’. Where in the past you could use all of the experts you have collected (with the exception of an 8 hour ‘sleep-time’ post use) the app now provides you with access to 20 experts ( had 57) as a start, after which you have to use purchased gems to use the experts you have collected. Once you use the 20 experts, then it’s all gem purchase based. Very disappointed at the level of greed from UKEN games, it’s a typical bait and switch model. Not sure Apple is aware that UKEN changed the rules of play.

Who wants to be a millionaire. This game is a joke I don’t know I made it here are you you better get rid of the game on the App Store and there’s no way people are buying her again because they came sucks it’s not fun playing

Bad app. I would rate this app higher but it seems that there is a game mixed in with all the ads so I’m not able to enjoy it

Too many pop-ups. You spend so much time getting random bait ads that it just gets too irritating. Being forced to watch yet another ad which this time contained an inappropriately dressed girl was the last straw. I just wanted a fairly simple game. Not a bunch of crap thrown in my face. Uninstalling.

No more access to your experts. They decided to remove access to the experts and change it to a new lifeline and make you pay for it. So if you have difficult or super hard questions, you now have a limited amount of lifelines available to reach the top. Or switch to Google quickly and come back to the game. But that can only help you for a while... This means the interest for the game will drop big time because we are going to play much less often. They have taken away the fun that came with the help of the experts. Unless you’re willing to spend your whole paycheck on this game. The game is doomed, the eyeballs and the advertisement $$ are going to leave for good.

Awesome game. Been playing for years , great game, spend what you want or not at all cause it a great competitive game

Great game.. Great game. Doesn’t kill you with ads! This is now my priority of keeping a game because so many games now are ridiculous with ads, even after you buy them.

Who wants to get ripped off?. Anything you click on you are forced to watch an in-game AD. The game is designed to take your money like the crooked street vendors. To open prize boxes cost 32++ diamonds and you might win 10 per game forcing you to buy more diamonds for $$$. To play a game you need to speed in game currency and every game you play the price goes UP. You get to the point after 10ish games you have to decide if you want to buy in game currency for real money. The are better games out there that do not try to get you to pay for there last movie failures.

Awesome game. I love this game 5 star game for sure 😀👌🏻😀✌️

Advertisement. Great game and mind challenging Frustrating part is that the adds hang up and will not play and you will be losing your rewards. I am getting to the point to stop playing this game.

Change. I am very happy that when l made a complaint about a change it was noted and changed back. Thank you.

App not accessible. I downloaded the app and discovered it doesn’t work for people who use the Voiceover screen reader function in iPhone, so I removed it.

Fun, but too many ads. You’ve developed a fun game, but an advertisement after every round is a bit extreme.

Play for Millions!. Such a fabulous way to spend a date night!

Fix the glitches. Theres a few different glitches I’ve tried to tell them the issue. No help at all from them as just Blamed the wifi then the device. I keep loosing rewards so not really worth playing anymore. I don’t have issues on other games I play

Confusing Rules and Long Ads. The questions are reasonable and enjoyable, but there appears to be no place to find out what the rules are, and the rules are confusing. Most frustrating, though, are the number and LENGTH of the ads. I stopped playing, even though I was scoring well, because I got tired of LONG ads after every game.

Glitchy and poor customer service. I was already frustrated with the game for how they force you to wait hours on end for enough coins to play (unless you want to pay) and for the brutal gambling style interface that promotes addiction. Then it got worse. The pressure you EVERY SINGLE TIME you log in to connect to your Facebook. I finally caved and did it. When I did I lost almost all my coins and all my stats and was place back to beginner status. I contacted customer service and never got a reply. I have stopped playing completely. I do love trivia and wish this game cared at all about their customers rather than employing blatant manipulation at every opportunity. I get that it is a business but I too am a business owner and ethically there must be a limit!

Stupid. I just want to be able to play the game but since it costs “coins” per game now I can only play maybe one round every few hours. Seriously get rid of all the extra crap and just make one that I can play without having to wait a million years to do so. Deleting from my phone. Do NOT recommend.

Bugged. Since yesterday’s update , nothing works properly any longer. Im deleting this app... it’s getting ridiculous

Gems are much too elusive. The game itself is really fun. The only thing ruining it is the gems that you have to use in the game to pay for different tasks, the main one being unboxing the box of rewards you win at the end of a challenge. First of all, the amount of time these boxes take to open is ridiculously long (we’re talking up to 12 hours and as if that wasn’t enough, you can only open one at a time, so 3 boxes would be 36 hours, which is just ridiculous. Especially considering the fact that each box doesn’t contain that much. Also, the game offers scarce opportunities to get these gems and whenever you get some from playing, it is always a ridiculous amount (like 5 gems while a Lot of the tasks you could actually use them for require gigantic amount, like 700 gems. Evidently, this is by design; and most likely coming from a placc of greed, because they want people to buy them. Only thing is, they are also extremely onerous. The priciest package costs $70 and contains about $5000, which might sound like a lot, but you need so much that you probably wouldn’t last 2 weeks with that. That’s way too expensive for a game that offers no prizes. Also, it would be hard to argue that the money is fully invested in to improve the game : graphically, the game looks dated and never changes appearance and the gameplay never changes either, so it is not clear to me why it is so expensive. One thing that would make the game more fun would be if th me quiz were actually played live, The way it is now, you could bed playing agains a bot, you’d never know. Also the interface is not very intuitive and there is way too much going on a. If you don’t buy gems, you’ll need to do a lot of administrative task to get and manage your resources which is a little time consuming and really not much fun.

Friggin ads. Spent more time watching ads than playing

Decent game but ruined by…. The ads are unbelievably long and annoying. You will spend a minute or two playing and then have to watch ads for a minute or two. The worst ad ratio I’ve seen in a game. Literally half the time is watching ads or constantly closing pop up windows try to sell you gems etc. Not worth it.

ANNOYING. If you play with the internet on it kicks you out frequently and you lose your discounts. You earn chests but if you don’t pay to open them and you have more than 4 you lose them. What’s the point of playing and working so hard? Very frustrating and annoying. Commercials after every single game and they are the same ones over and over and is nauseating. If you download one of the games it’s fake advertisement because you don’t get what they show. Save yourself the headache. I was typing this and got kicked out too and had to type it again.

Millionaire. Been playing This for a couple of years and never had a problem. Now the app won’t open at all.

Lost daily prizes feature. They had this on previous version And now back to good old days i can not go...

Moving on from you Uken... Good fun game initially but now it constantly crashes upon launching. Don’t think it’s a technical glitch but deliberate on your part (UKEN). Posted my experience with your tech support but was taken down. Glad to move on to other games and better experience. Based on other recent reviews from other users with similar experience, don’t think this is isolated. Enjoyed it while it lasted.

Not happy. Getting tired of this game freezing on me. Been playing a long time. But it seems when you complain they try to say it’s on your end. When clearly it’s theirs. They just don’t know how to fix it. Not going to spend anymore money on this game. Getting tired of the same results. Too bad. It’s really a good game. And it seems to be a problem with other players. Get your game sorted. It’s not us. It’s YOU that needs to fix the bugs.

Great. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Leaving this game. Much like one other reviews , this is a great game to start, but interest between Tokyo and Rio is LONG …… Much like a book you start, but come to realize the juice is not worth the squeeze…….. Canceling at level 132, but really lost interest at 100 …..

Buggy and Bizarre Ads. This game constantly gets stuck on the ads. Even after you wait them out, they get stuck and there is no back or x out button. You have to close the app and restart. Also, the “Gardenscapes” game ads are bizarre and disturbing - a suffering single mother and child - and have nothing to do with “gardens”. Weird.

You are playing against bots. I deleted and reloaded the game several times. No matter who you are playing against, they always get the same questions wrong. This game is a money grab and full of long ads. Don’t waste your time.

Expert change. Was a game to get hooked on now impossible to ever win with the change in experts so now bored not worth it. Sone playing I would consider if they change it back!

Play with higher level players. This game is great. But as with everything it too has flaws. One of them being the inability to play with higher level players. Of course it is understandable that you start out at level one as a beginner but some have a much broader knowledge than others when it comes to trivia. There must be a way to bypass other levels by taking just a short IQ quiz to see what level you belong in. As much as I would like to go on about the flaws of the game I will refrain myself from doing so due to the fact that it will take pages of this endless gripes about what can be done to improve this game. Better to end it here while I can. Otherwise, enjoy the game players. See you on the other side.

Solid game but could be better. The game itself is fun and has a lot going for it. He lifelines and characters that you can progress make for an interesting twist. However, and I know it's a common complaint, but there are tons of ads, no way to disable them AND you have to buy coins to play for any length of time. You have to answer 3/4 of the questions just to get the number of coins you pay to start a game back and break even. That's ludicrous. I have won a majority of the games I've played but can barely get 3-4 in before my coins run out. And then there's ads on top of it after the game wants me to buy stuff every 5 seconds. Either ditch the ads or give people enough coins to break even at half the questions answered. Most people I play barely make it there.

Game has become greedy. I agree with all the other reviewers about the recent changes. Without the experts refreshing like they used to, this game has become lousy. On top of that, I have a persistent problem where the game keeps disconnecting me or something, so that no matter how much I win, that amount is not added to my totals. I can never advance in ranking because my winnings aren’t added in. If you don’t stay above a certain ranking, they will lower you down a level. I double check my settings to make sure I’m connected, but it still happens. I’ve sent them several emails about this and have never heard back. Buying diamonds is very expensive. This game is becoming so not worth it. If they don’t fix it soon, many of us will leave the game. Too greedy!

Loved this as a kid!. When I was a kid this game show game was on a bonus disc of Lion King 1 1/2. And I was obsessed with it. I loved the style of the game. So when I saw an ad for this I had no doubt I’d download it. A previous review I saw talks about how if you fail after passing the point where best the other person you get the points from at the point you beat the other person. I just want to say that’s how this game is supposed to be. It’s based on a game show. When you beat your opponent you can take your winnings at any time but each time you proceed you are risking losing it all. They can’t change the game because they didn’t make the rules just for the app. It’s a classic. Yes you play against other opponents but as someone with autism and social anxiety I found it was a good way to open people up to playing against real people because the game is simple. So less anxiety. And who knows maybe I’ll be able to do it with other games because of it. This app is a revival of a classic game show. The lack of people playing that are aware of that is sad.

Meh. A rage quit.. I thought this would be good & it was kind of fun at first after I managed to get out of coin poor. It costs 16K after the first few levels then 32K just to play. If you make it to the 32K you won’t be coin poor but you might be if you lose a lot. That was the last straw for me. I hated having to watch an ad after everything. Not just any ad but super long ones. The same ads over & over nearly 3 minutes long. Why not have an option to pay for no ads? I also would have preferred knowing my inventory of lifelines prior to competition. It’s easy to be lifeline poor. I used the free daily coin, gem & lifeline area to stock up. You have to watch ads of course. That’s fine for that. I skipped playing for a day; just checked in to open mystery boxes and city boxes. Then I was downgraded to a lower level but due to skill kept going up levels numerically. All of the sudden paying 32K to play and I had been downgraded to bronze? I rage quit after going out on the first question on the first game costing 32K. Will now be looking for a better trivia game.

Love this game however..... Love this game and play a lot. However there have been a few times where I question the legitimacy of the facts. For example one recent question asked what was the name of the first native people to inhabit Mexico. I guessed the Toltecs and lost because the game said it was the Aztecs. I fact checked on google and it literally said native people to Mexico BEFORE the Aztecs. Another time there was a question about William Shakespeare aso I asked my William Shakespeare expert and he didn’t know the answer which was curious.... overall though this doesn’t happen often and doesn’t stop me from playing. I love learning new facts and it’s a great game.

Great game. I love playing this game! It’s really fun, and I love how the questions are challenging, and very fun!! I always like doing reviews so people don’t end up wasting cash on horrible games, and to let them know how great this game is!! So, As I said I love the game, so you might be asking, “Well if you love this game so much! Then why did you put 4 stars?” I only put 4/5 because you can only play a certain amount of games before your chest storage thing is filled, (3 or 4 chests fit). When your storage is full, you can’t play until you have open spots and the worst part........ IT TAKES LIKE 1 HOUR TO HAVE ONE CHEST OPEN!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!?!!! Please Let me know. Thx!

Money hungry game. We all have to band together and teach Uken games that they can not constitute exploit players with immunity. This new lifeline is not a benefit. They keep replying in game as if they have done some wonderful favor to players, but that’s just not true. They have taken away the experts you worked so hard to collect and added a new lifeline that costs gems to use. I have 80 experts that I used to be able to use and play my four games, but now the experts sit useless because if you have t collected the new lifelines you can no longer use your experts UNLESS you are willing to pay for that pleasure. These money hungry creeps at Uken games do not care about a fun product or even a fair one. All they care about is lining their pockets with more money. So do yourself a favor...either don’t play the game or learn to cheat and save yourself a lotta cash.

There are some issues.... While I like the game, there are a few things I don’t like. Being at the gold level, I have amassed over 100,000 in coins. I think the game should give the option of buying diamonds with those coins to use to buy help from audience, 50/50 or experts. Otherwise, they are of no use. Many of the questions are repetitive, some totally obscure, and the audience is incorrect more often than not. Since I am subjected to ads between each game, I should no and will not spend any money to improve my standing. Also, whatever coins I win, I should be able to keep when I reach $1 Million. Why do I have to share when my opponent also reaches that level.

Doc. I truly believe that the questions produced are not from the US. There’s is slang placed in the questions that are from the UK but are completely different in other parts of the world. Do I think it’s skewed towards non US players, it feels like it. The game originated from the states, it plays more like European trivial pursuit than the original millionaire. The geography questions need more overall spectrum of play towards the overall world including Russian, Chinese, and South America questions. A lot of the science questions are relevant to Europe and I just think that the original millionaire would be more well rounded including every facet of the world and all cultures. Overall it can be frustrating because not all slangs are the same through all cultures.

Too expensive but a wonderful addictive game. I was immediately addicted to the game and generally won. Just a handful of losses but you have to pay with coins to play each round. Unless you hit the millionaire mark each round you generally are not earning enough to pay for your next game. (You get 3 flags to prevent you from falling back to where you beat your opponent but they go quick). You buy coins with diamonds and you buy diamonds with real money in app purchasing. I’m sad but I’m left with two choices kick this addiction or come out of retirement and go back to real work so I can afford to play. (Right now each round is costing me 8000 coins up from 2000).

Turned into a rip off. I used to enjoy this game, and previously rated it 4/5 stars. When they changed the game and introduced an additional cost to use lifelines, it ruined the game for those of us who don’t want to pay to win. I complained twice and received the same stock pregenerated answer about a “new exciting way to use lifelines!” What they mean is that it is a new way of inducing people to pay more money to use the dozens of expert lifelines they’ve already accrued but can’t use without buying more gems. I spent hours earning all those experts so I could be competitive, then suddenly they changed the game and the fact that I had all those experts became meaningless! I could use 1 or 2 before needing to buy more jewels to use them. I tried to keep playing, but after a couple months, I have finally just deleted the app. It’s now a waste of space on your phone. Don’t bother.

Some problems. If you are a citizen of the UK, you have a much better chance of doing well in this game; there is any annoyingly high percentage of UK-centric questions: British sports, British expressions, British geography, British TV shows, British celebrities, British newscasters, British food…British, British, British! The questions are obviously written in the UK by British writers, which is OK, but say that—have a UK version and a non UK version. Unless you use a LOT of lifelines, are an Anglophile with a membership in Mensa, or just an average UK citizen with nothing better to do than play this maddening game 24/7, you’ll never reach the million, or break out of whatever level you find yourself in. (And, some of the answers are straight up WRONG: Marcia Cross played Bree in ‘Desperate Housewives,’ not Felicity Huffman, yo!)

Great game!. This game is fun and challenging! Although I do enjoy it, I believe they need some new question writers with a broader scope. I get a soccer question almost every time I play (teams, players, rules, World Cup locations, etc.). Recently I had 3 soccer questions in the same game! I don’t think I have ever gotten a question about baseball, basketball or American football although I have had a few about golf. Same thing with movies — someone on the writing staff is obsessed with Harry Potter. When it comes to tv, I have gotten more questions about The Simpsons than all of the other tv questions put together. If there was a little more variety within certain categories, I could give the game 5 stars!

3. I give this three stars because the game is very fun but it also has a lot of problems. This game allows you to compete against other people but in the other trivia question games they always give you a easier topic. The topics on here are always ridiculously hard. They give you random questions. One time there was a question that I knew the answer to, but whenever I went and hit the correct answer it said I got it wrong even though it said that I hit the right one it’s those counted wrong and then I lost. I’m kind of on a loss and can’t tell if I should recommend this to you. Play at your own risk LOL!!

Takes to much to reach new cities. I enjoy playing this game and realize that of course it gets more difficult as you go but having to climb over 30 levels to get to the next city is ridiculous. I finally stopped playing because of the amount of time it would take for me to reach the next city and Because I could not climb the leader board without having the higher payouts of the next city to help me advance. I had made it to Rome but getting to the next city (Rio?) will take forever, taking the fun out of the game. I got to triple silver level and just could not advance further although I was willing to spend some money. Frustrating! I finally deleted the app.

Not happy with the application synchronization. I needed to restart my tablet a few times during the last few days and each time coming back most of my data was lost, including purchases containing accessories. My league score was maintained, but when I look at events, something weird happens. My score shows some 28,000 points, but when I look at the line above it shows only 17,000, meaning I lost virtually all the progress I did in the last few days. All of them are off synch. Same for the piggy bank. Before shutting down I had 10k, after restarting only 3k. I worked the last few days for nothing. The application did not save my data on the site and now I am worse than before restarting.

Gems are expensive. The game itself is a lot of fun and I enjoy it. But the gems are expensive!!! And the game does not provide any opportunity to earn the amount you need to play. (For example, on average you might win 4 to 25 gems, but it will cost you 40 gems to claim a bonus card, or 120 gems to have another chance if you answer a question incorrectly, or over 400 gems to upgrade a gold box to a platinum box, etc.) They also do not allow you to use the coins you have won to purchase gems. However, you can use gems to purchase coins... For me, the gems are the primary pitfall that makes this game very expensive - especially if you want to play with any regularity.

Cheryl S.. I wish you were able to earn advantages faster so you could play longer. It’s very difficult to earn diamonds and this is the only way to speed up opening the reward boxes. Also, to have to wait 8 hours or spend 30 diamonds to open the silver boxes is a bit much. It doesn’t encourage you to do your best since you only have to wait 3 hours to open the bronze boxes. Also, I play for a few minutes and all the slots are full for the boxes and I’m forced to use all my diamonds or wait three to eight hours to open up more places. I would play much more if these things could be addressed because I really like the play.

Ask an Expert ruined by developers. I hate writing reviews so me taking time to write this shows how disturbed I was to find a change in the ability to use experts that have taken me months to earn. I understand that game developers need to earn money from their games, but with all the ads we have to watch and real money that many players use to purchase gems in game I would hope that revenue stream was sufficiently supporting the game. Apparently it isn’t with this new change in gameplay use of experts that seems created to increase gem usage. I will at this time stop purchasing anything and play this game going for the time being without my experts, but if I start losing more because of this change then as with most games that start to bore or annoy me it will sadly be removed and replaced.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. I love the game. My only negatives is that the same categories repeat a lot. For example, ‘What am I doing?’ comes up frequently. We need more categories and they need to switch to different ones more frequently. Also on the bonus questions, the answers are often strange, way out there, and you can’t possibly figure them out. Or they are just outright stupid or illogical. Besides this, the game is very good. The last update sped up the time intervals between questions/responses. Before, I could have made a cup of coffee til it changed! Great game! My favorite part of the game is that is helps me rise slowly but steadily out of my first awoken zombie state. Gets my brain active!

It’s ok. The game is pretty good but super frustrating at the same time. The payout is garbage. If you win the match, you only get the amount for the question your opponent answers wrong. That’s all you’re guaranteed for the rest of the match unless you walk away. There should be check points (just like the real show), not lose them all after answering the next 4 or 5 questions after winning the match. Also, at a minimum you should get your points back that you spent to play if you win. No reason I should win the match and come out with less than what I went in with. The other issue I have is the difficulty of questions and where they’re placed. Typically, the first 2 questions are super easy, the next couple take a little knowledge and then they get harder (the way it should be). Every once in a while, the first question will be something that is not commonly known at all. This only happened to me a couple of times but it still makes it frustrating. Overall it’s a fun trivia game, but there could be a couple changes made to make it more enjoyable in the long term.

Disappointed. I loved this game and would give it 5 stars...until a recent change. You used to be able to access the experts you have won and upgraded. If you had say 35 experts in your corner, you could usually use maybe 8 or so in an individual game. That really helps when playing further along in more expensive cities. However due to the recent change, you may only be allowed to use maybe two of the 35 you possess, and then even those have to rest a bit before they can be used again. So basically even though you have earned a nice collection of experts and paid for upgrades, you cannot use them. I’m really curious as to why this change was made. It really changes the game, and takes away earned advantages.

I really like this game.. I really enjoy this game, it is a lot of fun. I play pretty much all throughout the day. For the most part I am happy with the app, it never crashes, there’s always new things that come up, like different ways to get gems..coins..etc. it’s always more difficult to win gems than anything else seems like so that is kinda annoying. I also don’t understand why it’s 18 gems to rush open the bronze box then 44 for silver and 60 for gold. Why such a huge jump in gem cost?? Even if it was just doubled each box would be better. That’s really my only issue with the app. ✌🏼

Great game!!. this is a really fun game! i haven’t seen the show, but this game is pretty darn good. i see it’s half and half on the reviews of liking and hating, i don’t know where the hate comes from though. i saw one person was mad at the experts- GUYS think about that, it’s so wild. you get experts anyway. they’re literally CHEAT codes, think how hard this game would be without them. complaining about people that TELL YOU THE ANSWER, guys what!? this game is amazing and anyone who hates on it is probably lying or just bad at the game. if not they are just haters. download this game, play it for a couple hours, then write a review! P.S. thanks for reading this looooooong review

Unplayable. Who wants to be a millionaire you ask? Obviously, the developers do. You don’t get nearly enough coins to play this game for any considerable amount of time. The initial coins you will take about ten minutes to use up. And that’s even if you are WINNING the games you play. Once you run out of coins in that ten minutes, you might as well delete the game because you won’t be able to play for a while. I’m talking DAYS!!!! Unless, you spend money. The cheapest game cost 1000 coin. You earn them at a rate of UP TO 100 coin. 15 coins here, 30 coins there. Even the daily log in coins are ridiculous. 100 coins for day 1. 250 for day day 2. 500 coins for day three. That’s 850 coins in three DAYS!!! It takes 1000 coins to play a game. There is NO OTHER WAY to earn coins unless you PLAY the game. Can’t play the game if you have NO COINS. If you want to be a millionaire you’ll have to open your wallet. There is no other way. Otherwise, great game.

Horrible Execution. This game is a microcosm of everything wrong with mobile gaming and precisely why I have so few. Instead of going through the very simplistic process of answering questions and being challenged with trivia, you’re bombarded with ads, competing against people and need to buy freaking lifelines. Really? You can’t even play through this as a real-life version of millionaire because you seldom will have lifelines unless you use actual money to buy them. Secondly, I fully understand that the game needs ads but wow are they excessive. The ads after every round are 35 seconds and you need in game currency to play and if you don’t have it guess what, you have to sit through ads to get it! They took one of the most simple concepts for an app that you can possibly have and ruined it with typical mobile game garbage like ad bombardment and microtransactions .

Expert Change Ruined Game. I did enjoy playing this game, it has been RUINED by the changes made to the Experts. Spent months, hours and money EARNING experts-I have 85. Out of the blue they change rules! By the way you pay coins to upgrade those experts...NOW you have to earn/win and or pay for the privilege of using an “Expert Lifeline” in order to use one of the 85 I have already earned and upgraded. Seriously?! Additionally, they say “we are giving you 20 expert lifelines to get you started”, DID NOT RECEIVE even the 20! They are NOT happy to help, when I contacted them they about that I got the same canned response explaining to me how the lifelines work. Thanks for that break down-I feel confident all the players get that part! Bad move, find something else to play. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME on this, much less your money. They are NOT interested in your feedback and certainly not willing, much less happy to help!

Great game... but kicks me out continuously. This is my favorite app. I love to play the game, and I can usually get quite far. It gives enough freebies/lifelines to help. Lately, however, 98% of the time when I click “play”, I get kicked out. What’s up with that? I haven’t been able to play it for the past two days, and I’m thinking its time to delete the app altogether. 😱 Update to earlier review... I haven’t been able to play q & a part of this game for over a week, although I can watch ads and get the every-four-hour reward. However, because I can’t play, I’ve been demoted a level. I put this down from 3 stars to 2... and in another two weeks if I can’t play... it will go down to 1 and I will delete the app. It would be 5 stars if it would just work. I am on an iPhone, and am on the latest update... so that is not the problem.

Questions too tough. Majority of the questions are just too tough that I’m sure most people just rely on the experts for the answers. They’re even harder than the ones on jeopardy on TV. Even some of the supposedly easier questions at the beginning are head scratchers. It’s like they want you to keep using your experts and lifelines just to be able to answer correctly. And Ask the Audience is most of the time useless. It misleads and gives the wrong answer. And now, they’ve made the tournament-league from top 100 to just Top 31, which makes it even harder to stay at your current level. You have to finish in the Top 21, otherwise you’ll be demoted to your previous level. Exhausting!

I Love it but Disappointed everything cost money. I hate the Ads of Adultery and Cheating drama. I really wish there was a way to pay like .99cents or $1.99 to permanently turn off ads. I love the game but it takes so long to recover and get another mystery box. It’s really starting to wear on me and despite have purchased more diamonds. The diamond to coin ratio you get in turn is meager and insufficient. It’s all just really to get you to spend more and more, it takes the fun out of the game. It’s a really great game but all the in-game purchases are killing the fun. Why does the developer not hold on to the interest of the game-player for the long-run instead of a short-lived gain? I Love it but disappointed that everything costs money

Only one complaint. I have no issue with the gameplay, and I've never needed to spend any real money to enjoy and advance through this game (although I did spend a little money to go ad-free, and it was WORTH IT--the ads are heinous). What drives me up the wall are the animations that hold you hostage! Okay, they are just a few seconds each, but they are EVERYWHERE, and it makes me nuts that I can't just dismiss them. They are all needlessly bloated, but for some reason the Win Streak animation really kills me. I am CHEERING when I get the message that the Win Streak event is ending lol (only for it to start up again two days later gahhh)! Anyway, fun game, no more complaints. Take those animated actions down a few notches.

Better be a millionaire!. Although there is no denying that this game is fun, it has too many pitfalls if you want to play. Better have your wallet handy because you can’t really play this without it. When you win a game and get a treasure box, it pays you in expert cards and silly little side games that are not part of the millionaire game, there are not many life lines you can actually use. If the game allowed you to buy your lifelines, it might be more fun but you have to have “diamonds for everything”. I am also disappointed that the lower levels of play can be really tough unlike the TV version. Better be a real millionaire to play this version.

Great game, but not for Americans. I enjoyed the gameplay, climbing the question ladder, answering the questions and using the lifelines. The questions, however, are extremely out of sync for a player in the USA. After missing so many questions (or using a lifeline to get the answe), I ended up looking up so many words/phrases/sayings/idioms that were so British-specific. I tried to stick it out, but the questions just were too obscure to make the game play fun, it’s not great to use up you lifelines in questions 1 or 2 with some obscure (but supposed to be easy) questions. I had so many questions on soccer, both current and historically going back to dozens of years to find out who had “hats”, or who was the coach from dozens of years ago for a name (crystal palace is a team?), and also to mention sports that I had never heard of before (netball?). If you are an extreme Anglophile and know that the Queen of England opened some revamped London train station some 13 years ago, or if you know that the “M-x” motorway will take you from city-x to city-y, or if you live in a country that is under the Queen, then the game would be for you. I may check back and try the game in the future and see if it fits more for the audience in this country.

Horrible Upgrade!. I have been playing this game faithfully for over a year. I have had both VIP and add version. It was a way for me to calm down during anxiety attacks. However this last update has taken away my ability to play for an extended period which of time. I went from 44 experts to 20 just like that. I am very good at trivia and hold my own on most games, but still needed those experts a great deal. This game is no longer useful to me as I cannot play for the amount of time that is needed to calm me. It used to be fun, but now is just another game that if I want to advance, I need to spend more money than I already have. Do not bother giving me your canned response that has been given to every other person that has been dissatisfied with this upgrade. I will not be contacting customer support through the app. 😡

So fun & interactive. I love playing this game! So fun & interactive. Even opening the boxes that you win is animated and a touch-screen activity. I find the easier questions are fun and the harder questions to be challenging. There’s a lot of rewards and no need to spend money on the app — even though it’s always promoting you to do so. You absolutely do not need to spend money. If you just play a couple times a day then your rewards get recollected for you to be able to play with extra lifelines. That’s my advice! I don’t buy anything and I have a blast playing.

Addictive game. I started playing this when the new Who Wants To Be A Millionaire with Jimmy Kimmel aired. I agree with someone’s assessment last year. You can only go up the ladder with necessary lifelines. Collecting enough to keep playing is difficult without purchasing expensive gems to also allow to answer questions by choosing lifelines for gems when you deplete them. And after you win, and answer more questions without answering the “million dollar” question, you drop all the way back to when you one. Why can’t you answer more and then walk away with the higher payout as on the live game? That would make this game much more fun and realistic.

Millionaire Trivia. I totally agree with the other review. All game are requiring more and more coins in order to play the games and these are expensive games if your playing every day. Which means the computer and is getting richer and the players are having to keep buying coins and stuff to get more tokens. I wouldn’t allow my child to play any online games unless it was completely free and having fun like a game of checkers. You’ve got some young people being a millionaire and they are nothing but, brats and immature and extracting more coins. So, guess like to other reviews and people I talk to that agree wont be spending money and will eventually quit playing and taking it off my computer. Plus, charging people $7.99 to take ads off. Are you kidding? I certainly wouldn’t do that either because I’m not a millionaire and not trying to be.

Frustrating fun. Loved it when I first started, but it’s becoming more frustrating each day. Earning a million use to earn a bunch of lifelines. Now I received one life line and 5 person cards. The person cards are worthless. Unless you have a lifeline, the experts don’t help. Many times when I try to save my spot, it moves to the next question. It’s still fun, but waiting 12 hours for a millionaire box to open for one measly lifeline was worthless. Extra diamonds but having to earn 12,500,000 a day is ridiculous!! I’d have to play every second of the day. If I can’t use 40 lifelines a day in Help Wanted, they up it to 55 for the next time. What??

Terrible Pay Structure. Pros: Good questions, fun competition idea Cons: forced ads on losing, forced ads over rounds played (win or lose), coin ratio is awful, ads don’t follow the same age rating, play for 1-2 minutes and be forced to watch 3 minutes of advertisements to make up for the coin ratio. Cost structure is the worst in many pay to play games I’ve seen. You pay $2 for 150gems which can’t get you ANY coins, only speed up boxes 12gems to speed up a 3hour bronze box which gives a max 174 coins. You need 1000 coins to play 1 round which is less than 5 minutes of gameplay if you get every question correct. Less than 1 if you make a mistake. You can only have 4 boxes, 4x174=696. You can’t even play 1 more round to get 1 more box after spending all those gems to speed up your boxes. You know what you can do, watch an ad for 30 seconds to get 1000 coins. Then win/lose the round within a minute. You are seriously better off playing ANY trivia game on the market with a 3 star rating or higher. Don’t support this type of development. Play anything else, Dragonball legends gives you 10 pulls for free very often just for playing and they busted their balls making that game. Much larger development cost than this.

Used to be more fun. Used to be a fun game but now they give you only a certain number of tries to ask your experts that you obtained by playing and when you run out of expert chances even though you have a lot of experts you now have to spend gems to use them. Also sometimes even the experts don’t give you an answer they just say they don’t know. Well if they are an expert I would expect them to at least guess like when you use the audience since your using a chance or gems to ask them. I liked the game better before they started doing this. It’s still fun but I’ll never buy gems to use my experts. Before I think the experts just had a time out till you could use them again but not anymore.

They want to be a millionaire. Do not download this app. I understand they need to make a profit, but they are over the top. You gain experts to help you along the way. Sometimes those experts don’t know the answer which is understandable. For example I had a question “what year did William Shakespeare die”? I had Shakespeare as one of my experts. When I used him, the response was “I don’t know the answer.” So I lost that lifeline and the game. If you win a round you receive a prize box. You have 4 slots that show your prize boxes. You have to unlock them which takes time and you can only unlock 1 at a time or you can pay to unlock them faster. If you win a 5th or 6th box and you don’t have an open slot or can’t afford to pay to get it open, you lose it. They used to have an opportunity to get free diamonds each day which is how you pay for lifelines, they took that away. The questions are supposed to start easy and progressively get harder- not true. I had a question about elements and street names in foreign countries as the first question. They have commercials after every single game, you can pay for VIP status so you don’t have to watch them, but read the fine print, your VIP status only lasts for 30 days. So beware!! They should rename this app to “make us millionaires”

Great game, but ads get in the way. The game itself is great, but the ads you have to watch are buggy, and they frequently break when you are trying to complete a game. For example, you win boxes of prizes when you win the game. If you answer enough questions you can get silver or gold boxes. The ads play after the game, but before your box is awarded. If the ad hangs (because of a software bug), you can lose your prize box. I’ve had this happen many times and it is especially annoying when I’ve won the gold or silver box, but don’t get my prize. They really need to build in some failsafe mechanisms (timeout?) so you don’t lose your prize if the ads break.

Who wants to watch an ad?. It’s a fun enough game. Good time waster for people who like Trivia. But you’ll spend as much time watching ADs as you do answering questions. When I first started it was just as incentive to speed up opening your boxes or get lifelines etc. Now it after every single game. I don’t mind supporting it, I know got to make money some way. But why not just let us get more crystals, speed up our boxes or get coins for watching them to support you instead of making us watch them non stop. Also, why after a certain amount of victory boxes do I have to wait 24 hours to earn more. This really hampers the desire to play the game a lot. Because when my box slots are full and I can’t get any victory box what’s the point of playing?

Just wants your money. It requires 1k gold to start the basic challenge, but you have to get almost all the way to the top to get your money’s worth of playing. If you get any question wrong before then you’ve just basically lost all that money. Then to get free coins you can either buy them or watch a video (with a max of two videos per day) well I watched my two videos and it didn’t even give me my coins. So now I either have to wait until tomorrow or purchase them with my real money. The kicker is that once I watch my next two free videos, if it actually gives me my coins, it’ll only be enough for two games, so if I don’t do awesome on them I’ll be back in this place again. It’s trying to make it pretty much impossible to play without spending real money. Which is even worse because they also have advertisements, so it’s not like they are profiting off you already.

Fun but pay to play. It’s fun and rewarding when you answers questions right. The head to head doesn’t really feel like head to head since you just answer and then see if your opponents gets it right or wrong. The biggest problem is you have to pay coins to play a game and have to get over 50% of the questions right just to get the same amount you paid to play. So if you don’t get to that point you’re just losing coins at that point. Then you have to wait hours to get boxes that may have enough coins for you to keep playing. It’s only been out for a few hours so idk if others will feel the same way but it’s lame when you don’t have enough coins and it feels like the only way to keep playing is not buy diamonds that you spend on buying coins.

Fun Game designed to Drain Wallet. First, answering the questions was fun. At a deeper level though this game appears to be designed from the ground up to drain your pocketbook. It’s a game you can readily cheat on if you want. Your “winnings” aren’t based on how far you get, but rather the point when your opponent loses. Dumb right? The exception is if you can get all of the questions right in a given game. The game designers have created algorithms to change what it takes to win literally whenever they want, again clearly designed to maximize money from you. Suddenly a bronze box jumps from costing 13 gems to 24. Then three weeks later it drops to 18. No reason. It just does. If you are good at the game you will be able to play 15-20 minutes a day without cashing in gems. Seriously if you win 4 silver boxes in 15-20 minutes of play then you have to wait 32 hours at a minimum for them to be available without gems, visiting precisely every eight hours to “open” them. That’s just not fun. If you don’t mind spending cash have fun. For me it was time to “Unload” the App.

Game is good but.... Biggest issues I have with this game is the cost to play and the return. First off let’s say you beat an opponent and go a couple extra rings up the ladder and guess wrong. Why would you be dropped back down to the loser’s level of reward if you beat them in the first place. Secondly, why aren’t the ladder rings stacked on top of each other. For example, If you answer correctly the $500 rung, that should be $500. Then if you answer the $600 correctly, it should be $500+$600 not simply $600. The math doesn’t even work. Basically you’re just answering questions correctly for $100 additional and to top that off, just to play an opponent costs minimum $1000 that you don’t even get back if you win. So it goes like this... $1000 ante, beat your opponent and go farther by a couple questions let’s say stopping at $800. Great!! You did decent. Then say you answer question 9 incorrectly and your opponent failed at question 4. Guess what... you get $400. Not even enough to play one more time. This makes this game a total waste of time and annoying as hell

Fun but confusing. I’m loving the game itself, because I’m a big fan of trivia. But what’s weird, is you win and earn all kinds of bonuses and such, but they seem to have nothing to do with playing the game itself. I keep earning what looks like an extra player, but then I never have that as an option when I need it. I’m totally confused as to what I’m earning. The other thing I don’t like, is the ‘ask a professional’ option, which is equivalent to “phone a friend”, is never helpful! On the rare occasion I am able to use one of these lifelines, the ‘professional’s’ response is “I don’t know what the answer is, but I know it’s not A”. Seriously??!! This option is almost completely useless...

Terrible customer support. The game is fun and addicting. I actually enjoyed it, however after months of hard work, leveling to a high level, getting through the millionaire leagues the game glitched out on me and I was back at level one. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still didn’t help. I’ve only played the game on one device and never logged out, so for my data to be erased without a Trace was frustrating. I spent money purchasing things in the app too, all of that, gone. When I reached out on the app I never got a reply. After two times of reaching out on their support form. Pretty awful way to support people that spend money on your app. While it is a fun well built game, pray yours never glitches out because you’ll never get support or a response from Uken if you reach out. It’s borderline thievery.
