KORG ELECTRIBE Wave App Description & Overview

What is korg electribe wave app? The next evolution in music software. Powerful wavetable sound.
The next generation ELECTRIBE produces state-of-the-art dance music.

The ELECTRIBE series first appeared in 1999. Since then each generation has inherited the iconic, intuitive operability of the original while incorporating the most up-to-date sounds and styles.

The ease of use, accessibility, sound and musicality of the ELECTRIBE reach new heights in this latest software version which features a powerful wavetable sound source, a “Quick Input” sequencer and a convenient chord pad that allows you to play a chord with one finger. Even if you aren't a musical virtuoso, with ELECTRIBE Wave you can create state-of-the-art dance music like EDM, Future Bass, and Trap.

• Powerful wavetable sound suitable for the latest in EDM
ELECTRIBE Wave has a sound wavetable featuring sounds widely used in the latest music creation. Unlike a PCM synth, the wavetable allows you to repeatedly play fragments of short waveforms, and change the waveform position during playback. By combining the wavetable (which features a rich variety of presets) with a powerful filter and two modulation units, you can create an infinite number of innovative and sharp sounds that cannot be produced using standard PCM synths. Even without a deep knowledge of synthesis techniques, the carefully selected parameters make it easy to craft your sound.

• Improved user interface for quick composition
The familiar 16-step pad in the ELECTRIBE series enables speedy rhythm production. The ELECTRIBE Wave also features a new keyboard to play chords and scales. Even without musical knowledge, you can have fun making tracks without worrying about wrong notes. The sequencer features Groove, which can be used to breathe life into rhythm parts, as well as a special keyboard to enable smooth step input for synth parts on the graphical user interface.

• Convenient chord pad that allows you to play a chord with one finger
ELECTRIBE Wave features a chord pad that allows you to play chords with one finger. If you use the "Fetch" function, it will automatically extract the chords from the song that you are in in the middle of creating and assign those chords to the pad for fast and easy song creation. You can also easily assign and save your favorite chords. In addition you can use the arpeggiator to create new phrases!

• Motion Sequence records and plays temporal changes in sounds and effects
The ELECTRIBE series introduced a powerful motion sequence function that remembers and reproduces the movements of the knobs. ELECTRIBE Wave now offers this function for the synthesizer/drum parts so you can create a flow of sound overflowing with originality. If you use the built in KAOSS PAD you can change the sound to drastically with a single fingertip, easily storing and reproducing temporal changes. Remember the wave table POSITION to make real time minute changes to the sound performance.

• Song mode can combine patterns into finished songs
Use song mode to create a new track by simply arranging the order of existing patterns. Using only the ELECTRIBE Wave, you can take a song all the way from inspiration to completion. With audio file export, you can send a complete song or individual patterns to your favorite DAW, or upload to services like SoundCloud.

full workstation. Korg you guys really out did yourselves, I feel like the interface is so easy to understand on here, I like the look of the app I appreciate all of the instrument choices we get per part, the mixer interface is a beauty i feel like I’m in a studio, I imagine this works great with a midi controller I sort of want to buy the nano kontrol to find out, basically you can play back clips much like how Korg gadget or the Nintendo ds game work, but I don’t know I really like the electribe work flow, this app gives so much freedom and control over how you want you your music to sound, beyond impressed, I want to incorporate this in some of my songs along with my other hardware instruments

Love it, issues with Korg NanoKey. This is a fully functional groovebox with just as much if not more features than a standard all in one device. I’ve been using this with my Korg NanoKey Studio. Awesome pairing but it seems the knobs and pad buttons don’t work about half the time I connect it. Disconnecting and reconnecting seems to fix the issue. Still a bit annoying though

Doesn’t open at all. The app only shows the splash screen when it’s starting and it crashes. Happened after a recent update. Used only for a couple of months then it became unusable. Wasted my money.

Nice job Korg. Overall an outstanding new addition to the Electribe series. The only requests I would make are to allow importing more drum kits or user samples, and possibly user wavetables. Maybe some kind of additional integration with Gadget, but overall really fun and impressive. :)

This thing sounds amazing. I just wish it could be used as an audio unit:

I want to like this app so badly!. I love Korg. I have a bunch of hardware and a lot of the software. I check back in this app every couple months to see if it has improved, and it has. Extra star for that. The problem is that there are still bits left working incorrectly or poorly implemented. The feature in mind at the moment is the count in for the metronome - it doesn’t work. At all. I am not ready to play notes on my controller keyboard in the same second that I hit the play and record buttons, but the app expects me to be; even though I set the (newly available) 2 bar count in, it begins playing/recording in the same instant I hit the button, like it did from its release date. This is not supposed to happen until the end of the count-in. That is the reason it is there. Every other production app has this feature, and I am not asking for anything unreasonable, so please fix this! I stand by my original review in which I stated that consumers should not have to spend hard earned cash on a half baked application and then also be expected to QA the release for the developers. That is the job of the employees of Korg, who get paid to do this stuff.

Perfect!. This is amazing. It’s fun and easy to use once you get the hang of it. You can export as a .wav to audiocopy and then too audioshare. After that, you can use the .wav file with other audio apps like Korg Gadget 2.

Close to amazing but missing a crucial feature.. I expected that I could load my own samples to turn into wave tables. The lack of this feature deeply cripples this from being an amazing app. However the drum section let's you import samples and honestly, it's way better to use than a physical es2 sampler. Please add ability to load my own sounds or at least draw custom wave forms. This would absolutely make all the difference.

Lots of fun with this app!. The layout is very fluid. So it makes it easy to stay focused and creative. The dark colored GUI is great for long sessions without experiencing eye fatigue. The synth sounds great. You can really get a lot out of it. But it would be nice to have more waveforms to work with. The drum sounds are the weak point of this app. They’re OK. But it’s rather limited in the selection of samples. This app would get 5 stars if they add the ability to import your own drum samples. UPDATE: My request for importing samples was granted and the waveforms in the IAPs are definitely worth having. Thanks for the free samples as well. Bouncing synth and drum parts to iTunes file sharing is a quick way to resample and add more effects. Kudos on that!

No undo. Was having fun until I learned there was no undo. Not opening this up again. Precious time wasted

Wooooohoooopo!!!!!!!! Auv3 support!!!!!!!. Yeeeessssssss!!!!!!!!! This is MAJOR!!!!!!! Thank you and great job Korg!!!! Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping we’ll be seeing more audio units coming, but this is a great start!!!!!!!

Nice app. As audio unit it is available as a single wavetable. It would be nice to have aces to patches/programs and drums

Needs tweaks for better workflow. Things that would make it so much better: 1. Ability to dial in metronome instead of using fingers to turn the parameter knobs. 2.Better sensitivity for parameter knobs or better yet the ability to dial in the parameters. 3. MIDI mapping capability of parameters to hardware. 4. Ability to rearrange patterns in song mode 5. Ability to loop a specific pattern or loop a set of patterns 6. Ability to specify the number of times a pattern should loop before going to the next pattern 7. Ability to copy and paste entire bar of sequences in a row to another bar. These should be easy fixes based on the price being charged.

iPad studio boy (rraccerr). This is a fantastic app for me. I’m not a professional. Still learning but it’s amazing to me as an learner of music creation. Just having an awesome app like this in my hands is greAt. I’m truly grateful to all the the team of KORG. Thank you.

How can the people who did gadget create a turkey like this? Part two ... Horrible interface. Horrible sequencer. Horrible synth engine. And like some other Korg apps doesn’t open in gadget. This lay out is cryptic and isn’t laid out in a logical or fun way at all. The pastel colors and hoop jumping requires so much fiddling it’s a total buzz kill . I deleted it. The original is much more useful..👎CHRISTO

I like this better than gadget. Nice synth, easy to use, import your own samples.... it’s a groovebox. They’re supposed to have limitations. It bounces out to Ableton sessions. What else could you want. This thing slaps.

!Changes will be discarded!. I love this app.....giving one star so that hopefully the developer will see and respond....when playing live and muting parts you can no longer jump to another pattern without an annoying prompt popping up to remind you your changes won’t be saved....this seriously interrupts the flow of live playing! Please switch this feature back and get rid of it.....

It is not working. I’ve used this app for years now, was working last week, it will not load upon launching, you just get a black screen on iOS 17 on iPhone pro max 15. PLEASE FIX ASAP, WE PAID FOR THIS APP!!!!!!!!!!!

Background battery consumption issues. Great app but it has been running in the background and consuming my battery aggressively. My new iPhone XS Max was hot this morning and the battery dropped 14% in 30 minutes while locked, hadn’t used this app in days. Running latest version of the app and iOS.

AuV3 Added. Massive that Korg has updated one of their synths to AU. It works great, all Params exposed and it will be used extensively by me from now on. Fingers crossed for the Mono/Poly next. Thank you Korg.

Yay! Sample import!. My only major complaint before was lack of sample import. Thanks for addressing that one, Korg! All ya need to do now is improve the song mode and it’s perfect. Even without that, I’m in for five stars. Great work!

Incredible New Electribe. This Electribe is packed with new features and upgrades from the original iElectribe. The synth options are a virtual playground for sound designers. It will be great if a future update extends importing PCMs for custom wavetable exploration and the ability to use the synth engine in Gadget. But for now, the sounds and sequencing available at this price make it Korg’s very best and most accessible standalone synth app that can be used to create complete songs from start to finish. To Korg, the app developers, and the demo writers, thank you for creating another excellent synth.

Please Add MIDI Export. I’ve tried several music making Apps -Auria Pro and Beatmaker 3 - to name a few. This is by far the easiest and most fun to use. However, it doesn’t have a MIDI export feature. So if you create 3 or 4 complex patterns in the Korg Electribe Wave and then want to export the MIDI to use in your host Digital Audio Workstation(like Digital Performer or Logic) to make a complete professional piece you can’t. You must painstakingly rekey in all your MIDI in your DAW. With MIDI export this would hands down be my favorite App, I would rate 5 stars, and it would change my life. Without MIDI export I’m reluctant to use it because it is so time consuming to recreate the MIDI by hand later. @ Korg I would pay at least twice as much for a version with MIDI export.

There’s a problem with the erase button. And that problem is it erases notes already in the sequencer AND any new notes you play. Please make it so it erases only old notes in the sequencer while allowing new ones to be recorded, auto erase replace style. If you need help, look at older versions of Gadget which had this feature before it was sadly removed. This will allow users, if desired, to hold down the erase button and continue to play/record patterns until they capture the perfect take. No more having to clear a bad take in the utility menu, or touching it up with the sequencer page, just jamming. It could be an advertised cool feature. It would also allow the erase button to be played musically right along with the keys, to replace short snippets or even single notes. Lots of fun. Also, please add an undo button for recording and consider allowing the Kaoss pad to play notes mapped to the current scale for more fun recording purposes. The app sounds nice, the chord mode is killer. A modified erase button function would get this 5 stars from me. It’s that useful.

Need undo button. Would be more smoother work flow with the use of an “undo” button and a metronome/count in. Please Korg! This app sounds great tho just a few annoying road blocks during creation.

AUv3 Gets the 5th star. I bought this plugin for one reason in particular....Audio Unit support. Waiting for the rest of the Kong line to comply.

A lot of fun!. I’m running EW with GR16 at the moment and it’s a lot of fun! I’d like to see a few things in future updates. User samples! Let us add our own samples! I have the hardware Electribe synth version and this is a lot like it but please let us add samples! Samples with automated start/stop points, re-sample, ect. I’d also like to see preset packs to load when you add the sample functions 😁 more money for you if we buy sample packs!

So Much Joy. This is the most joy I’ve ever had, aside from with a girlfriend. I prefer making drum parts on here now to ableton drum rack. Holy cannoli tho it’s just so cool, so freaking fun. Thank you KORG

Disappointed. Thought there would be some real wavetable magic here. Boring, cliche, already sounds outdated with the sequences and beats. Thought this was a wavetable synth, as well. Stick with Waldorfs Nave. Anything PPG as well. Or, even Korgs Wavestation iOS app that doesn't let you exchange programs with the VSTi like iM1 does. Jeez....

I love this app A+++. I also own an Electribe EA-1, manual transfers between the two are super simple. This is great because I can write music anywhere, and and then come home and use my physical synths with perfect results. The sound engine is great, and sounds really good through studio monitors. The Mixer and multi track sequencer is beautiful, and versatile enough to make quality masters.

I think it’s great - still! AND NOW AU. Looks really nice slotted into NanoStudio 2! Might not be some people’s cuppa but it takes me in different directions than I might have gone otherwise. Easy to use and sounds GREAT! For a synth of this type I don’t want presets. There are so many ways to modulate and automate who needs them? To me this is not about making basses, pads and leads. There are plenty of places to get those. It’s more that I can make crazy sounds I’ve never heard before! No metronome? Who cares?? Lay down a simple beat and go for it! Think outside the box kids! There’s a lot you can do with this app if you tap into your creativity! BTW - I would like the song mode to loop and I haven’t heard any significant clicking that I can’t fix since the last update.

Weird/Great little app. Honestly, it’s takes a bit of time to wrap yr head around the truly mind boggling workflow but the results are worth it. If you spend the time you’ll be rewarded with a very deep(and limited)all in 1 music making app. ESP if your into left of center electronic style music.

Waste of money!. App is not at all what was described, requires more purchases, does not look like the images shown. Impossible to use, interface is too finite and small to use on a phone. Korg is using their name ID to sell apps that are nothing like the real physical products.

I’m quite impressed..... I have to say, from reading all the reviews, I was expecting much worse. But now that I got it on sale for $20, it’s quite worth it. It’s on the same level as Groove Rider, but they’re both special in their own way. This app is deep, and I mean deep. The sound editing can go for hours, but you won’t be bored like with other apps (gadget, beat maker and such). It’s not perfect, but nothing in life is. It’s a step in the right direction, but the price is little steep, get it on sale while you still can. I’m a fan of first hardware electribes and this one definitely got that feel. One small improvement that I would like to see is muting tracks, should be done with one hand (holding that mute button is so annoying, even on hardware I thought it was so stupid). Why can’t you just hit the mute button once and be in mute mode, what’s the point of holding it all the time? I don’t get it. I’ve had it for an hour and I’m very impressed. Another suggestion, it would be great for users to share their presets, similar to what KRFT is doing, that way this app could go for ever. It’s still great and it got tons of presets already, but just a thought. Maybe different color schemes, too. Just some minor tweaks. Anyways, this is more fun than Gadget, go get it while the price is still right. Chose this over iElectribe and I’m glad I did, it’s like IElectribe on steroids. 10/10. Great app...

We getting there. Nice update korg takes a bit don’t forget gadget! Going to revisit this again

Awesome job KORG!. I can’t put this thing down. I normally use a combination of Cubasis 2 and BeatMaker 3 with audio unit apps for creating audio tracks on the go. I later export them to my full pc studio for final composition, mixing and mastering. This app is super easy to program, stable (very important), the sounds are top quality, it can work as an audio unit or stand alone, allows individual audio track bounce/export, and it is not cpu hungry! In the past I stayed away from KORG on the iPad because they are not AU3 compatible, but as soon as this one was updated to AU3 I had to try it. Cons - the AU3 version does not have the drums, saved patterns, user saved presets, etc from the stand alone version. Hopefully this is fixed in the future. I would also like the option to export the midi data.

Could have a winner on their hands.. They were so close to nailing this. They got most of the fundamentals right, but seem to have rushed it out before polishing it to perfection. Cons: No metronome, instead each supposedly empty pattern has a 4 on the floor kick pre-programmed, which is just lazy and annoying. Still stuck with outdated IAA instead of going with AU. It could really use an undo system to speed up workflow.. And last but not least, the biggest drawback is no sample or wavetable import ability and while it includes 140 wavetables and PCMs in addition to a healthy number of drum samples, they only bothered to create 25 presets. Pros: It sounds wicked amazing. The lack of synth presets drawback is offset by the fact that it’s super easy to program incredible sounds with it — one of the simplest iOS synths to work with. Excellent modulation and automation system, beautiful sounding effects, very straightforward UI, with an efficient sequencing interface.. It’s a super quick workflow, allowing you to create complete songs with relative ease. I find it inspirational and loads of fun. Highly recommend, though I do hope Korg updates some of the problem areas and expands its functionality, even if it means selling us IAP with feature-set improvements. Just please don’t charge us for preset packs, when you should have included at-least 25 more to begin with.

Great Use of Touchscreen. This is the first iOS Electribe to fully use the touchscreen capability. The original IOS Korg Electribes emulated the actual hardware devices with little knobs and everything they were fun but kind of wasted the functionality of the touchscreen. This baby is a whole new cat very easy to use even for beginners. I would say it’s a dessert island music app, I just want to jam on it all day. I think I will take a crack at some psytrance. Oh ya the synth is wave table meaning virtually unlimited sounds, it’s like Serum for iOS. Kudos Korg.

AU3 Saves My Investment. Korg adopting AU3 shows their willingness to adapt to Apple’s standards and makes me feel more sure about my overall investment in this ecosystem rather than them abandoning their products. I am over buying synth apps that reach EoL and are abandoned so I’ll be sticking to Korg moving forward. Thank you!

I have to pay again to download to iPad?. I have all your apps and I am a big Korg fan but why do I have to pay twice?

Not broken, don’t fix.. You just changed the unison voice count from scrolling to drop-down, that’s not an improvement it was faster to scroll. It’s a small thing but it worries me that you’ll make more “improvements” that just slow things down. If you keep the scroll but just allow the drop down via a double-tap it will be the better of both worlds. Please be careful on your improvements. Why it’s perfect to me: the synth parameters are all on one page. The wave table plus vpm gives you all you could want without it getting too complicated that’s it not fun and requiring tabs, the parameters reset easily with a double tap. This is my favorite wavetable synth because of all these things. If they aren’t fun I don’t use them, if they don’t have fm I don’t use them. Please keep the power and simplicity. Suggestions: every sound could use a sub to fatten out the thinness of wavetable sync and fm type sounds, yet it’s buried, make the sub separate, an addition to the mods instead of the either/or it is now. Also an option for a more full size standard keyboard please. Other than that there isn’t much I could ask for and that’s saying a LOT, I finally have an iPad substitute for my Blofeld where Waldorf Nave failed me due to lack of fm. FM is EVERYTHING when it comes to wavetable. Thanks!

Can’t change drum. Trying to change drum causes app to crash on iPad Pro. Hope it’s just me because I think the app looks like a lot of fun but if I can’t get it to work I will ask for refund.

Thank you for listening to the users.. Can you please add full dropbox import/export support. thank you.

I love this app. This is hands down one of the most powerful, beautiful, all in one music making apps available. Behaves more like a hardware instrument and less like software than anything I’ve used. Unless I need to add vocals to a song, I don’t have to use anything else. This really makes an iPad a serious music making device for me. The synth sounds amazing. So deep but really easy to understand. Having the ability to easily import samples is awesome. I do synthwave and industrial. It transitions from smooth analogue to harsh digital sounds with ease. The only thing that could be improved is, I wish the mute and solo buttons locked instead of having to keep holding them down to utilize.

nice app but needs more. i need to be able to use custom patterns made on electribe wave as well as any other app that has been gadgetized. its fun to use and ive been able to make very interesting sounds using this methood still its useless if im using custom sounds only pn wave. i bougght this app to use in korg gadget. i need Everything gadetized.

Great Update For A Great App 👍🏼. Thanks for the great update today. Loving the Sample import and Ableton Project Export. I truly love this app and anything else you add to it is just bonus. As far as what I’d like to see in the future is the following: . Serum wavetable import support . Basic sound editor for Drum Samples to specify Start/End ADSR on drum pads . Multiple effects per channel like in Gadget . Better per channel midi support so i can manipulate Cutoff on per channel basis instead of globally as it is now when connected to external device (per channel Midi Learn i guess 🙏🏼) Anyhoo. Loving this update. Great work team👊🏼™️

Will be great with a few improvements. Really amazing music production app. Would love an undo button and the ability to export MIDI to ableton.

Korg’s Best IOS Synth!. I have Gadget w/almost all the gadgets, iM1, Module, ARP ODESSEi, iElectribe, but this one is my favorite. Super easy workflow, the wavetable synth has enough depth to it that you will not get bored easily and the liquid, full-bodied sounds it puts out along with the motion control are comparable to most VST’s. Do not stress over the drum sounds or the very limited sequencer. Bounce your tracks out to Ableton and arrange and polish it there. Convert your drum tracks to midi and layer them up in Ableton and you will have all the firepower you could want. Or import your own drum samples if you need something specific. Bottom line, this is a musical sketchpad that can deliver synth sounds that compare favorably with VST’s costing hundreds, but also at the same time in a convenient and fun, easy to use package.

Happy I took the chance.. This app has really impressed me tbh. I had never used an Electribe, only a Groovebox. For what it is, it’s pretty cool. It has a pretty great sound first of all. It doesn’t sound cheap. It has some very thick, deep, gritty sounds in it. And some great drum sounds. It sounds crisp and clear. It’s fairly user friendly. Learning to create songs by chaining patterns wasn’t too difficult. I really like how there’s an optional 8 measures to work with. And the keys are quite responsive to touch on here which has been cool. It’s been fun learning to use it. I still haven’t been able to sync it with my other gear though. That’s one of my main obstacles with it now. Other than that I think it’s pretty great.

Great automation. Loving the sounds and the features. Especially the motion page to automate all kinds of things per instrument. Fairly easy to understand GUI too. I haven’t read any manual and figured out a lot on my own. And these would be things that feel more compicated to do in other apps, but are very straight forward and easy to learn in this app. Another great quality Korg product! Glad i bought this app. Looking forward to seeing this as a module for Gadget soon hopefully...

Awesome. After being rather disappointed with the iELECTRIBE iPhone, this is just a superb little workstation that seems to do everything right. Now I have with the electribe wave and kaossilator, gadget, iDS, iELECTRIBE, plus Cubasis as I find the flow in gadget hard to use, on my iPad and ableton live and gadget on my MacBook, and a KORG nano key plus an electribe em1, and seinheiser hd25 headphones a nice little compact audio setup. To bad I gave away my Behringher truth monitors. And I’m planning to purchase a mini KORG kaossilator s2 synth, and hopefully some mini analogue korg synths when I can afford to.

Where is the 33% off sale discount!!!!! Disappointing. Where is the 33% off sale discount!!!!!

Fantastic!!!. This is a phenomenal app that sounds great, comes with fantastic presets, it sounds super modern and cutting edge and it’s easy to use. It will take a few minutes to learn but once you know what you’re doing it will become intuitive and easy to use. The included sounds sound absolutely fantastic and it’s very quick and easy to create your own individual sounds. You can create patterns or songs and beats and melodies, everything is great and the way it should be. All in all, a fantastic app!!! Well done KORG!

Now excellent. This is one of those apps that benefits greatly by making it an audio unit, or rather exposing the synth as an audio unit. I really hope that KORG does this with all their apps. My vote for the next one is iM1 because of its flexible, complex sound creation ability. Isn't the AUV3 concept a wonderful thing. Thanks to KORG for such great sounds and tools and for setting a great example for others to follow. Hey Moog, I can think of some apps of yours that would excite us again for their existence with them being audio units.

Cool kit, no metronome :(. Really neat Groovebox. An excellent addition to the Electribe series. Where's my metronome? :((((((((

AU needs a preset browser. I am not very interested in the standalone or the Gadget and am only wanting it as an AU. It works fine in AUM and Cubasis but in Beatmaker 3 there is no way to save and load presets. please add a preset browser in the actual AU for hosts like Beatmaker 3. Every other AU synth I own has this!

Au3 but none of the sounds work. Beware, if you’re trying to use the patch sounds from this synth inside BeatMaker 3, they don’t work. The synth table works but none of the sounds.

Not user friendly. I’m sorry. I love korg stuff. But this was a headache to figure out. Not user friendly and would like my money back.

Too complicated.. Unintuitive. And no refunds.

Great App. Ability to use the drums in AUV3 would be nice

Thank you KORG!!!. First this amazing groove machine.... Then you put it in Gadget! At no extra charge even! And NOW....it’s an audio unit!!!! Please do this with you other synths etc! And thank you with 5 stars! All the way!

Love this app, but I want more. For 15$ usd it was a good deal on the sale for what it provides as a stand-alone, but want to see even better ways to control their apps. The complaint about the metronome was addressed but it was done maliciously as it now destroys your eardrums with how loud it is. I was a bit disappointed that there’s no midi out because I love using this app as a sequencer very much. Navigation is a bit confusing but becomes familiar quickly. Instead of a piano roll, you have access to each from a row of each note with only the technical info. This can be helpful, or not at all what you want. I think it’s a pretty neat way to work because it limits you in a way, but this is just different than apps like gadget that have a very clear timeline of everything on the same page including automation. I do enjoy the point and click nature of drum sequencing as it’s super clear what you’re doing. I would rather use this than beatmaker or gadget, but the tech just hasn’t caught up. The chord pads are a step in the right direction. Still awaiting the glorious day that Korg copies BeatMaker and lets you create custom midi mappings for pads. I just want a way to quickly play a scale on my midi drum pad without having to manipulate the midi notes being sent to a scale and key. The provided scale tool is nice, But I dislike the touchscreen feel compared to my arturia beatstep pads. I use this feature in beatmaker but usually have issues routing inter app audio from Korg apps. They all could use an overhaul on the sample menus because I really don’t like scrolling through a ton of samples in a tiny little bubble without any way to search it other than snare, hat, kick, etc. I have the same issue with gadget when looking for samples in Bilbao. I am overall a huge fan of korg and just want them to be the best so I can cut out the middle men. Keep up the good work 😎

Problem with inter app. Hi I think there is a major problem with Kong Electribe due to iOS 14 update.the app doesn’t function properly as an inter app because the character of the sound change when I load it inside the app that I make my music with,I’m having this problem inside NanoStudio,IMPC pro 2, BeatMaker 3 please send an update or probably the app needs a bug fix. Thank you very much for all your hard work on helping iPad producer but the app is wonderful.

Works with Gadget. My prayers have been answered 💋

AU3!!!. Never expected Korg to embrace AU3. That’s a pleasant surprise. Thanks Korg!

AUV3!!! Wow!!!!. Auv3 support with korg synths is a game changer. Please do it with monopoly and the polysix !!!

90%. Do more presets & patterns then WOW this thing is a beast - thanks KORG for all the great apps & software!

A few glaring issues.... I love Korg apps...they are some of the best available. With that being said Electribe Wave is no exception. The sound banks are limited even after purchasing both sound packs, but the option to create your own sounds is limitless...I can live with that. However, where it falls apart is when you attempt to record. You choose a blank pattern, yet it’s not truly blank. There is a bass drum and a synth hit on the 1 count, so if you change the sound in that bank it will be a 1 count if whatever synth you chose. To avoid this you either avoid recording on the 1st bank or delete the 1 count sound...how lame and inconvenient. A good solution would be having the metronome being able to initialize the count...to be able to turn it on and off like nearly every music app on the market does. Second, it took me nearly 5 minutes to set the metronome to 140 BPM...go ahead...try it for yourself! It’s like playing a number game...in the iPhone the display is so small that you either grab the number after the decimal mark making it .5 or .whatevernumberitlandson or you get every BPM except the one you are going for. I tried the tap function, but it’s so small that you can’t consistently tap on the little button...I know...it’s an iPhone, but that’s all I have for recording right now. Being able to tap on the number display and manually add the number with the keypad would be great solution! Also...I can’t find an undo function...perhaps it’s buried, but I seriously can’t find it. This app has a lot of amazing potential, but it just needs a bit of refinement out.

It g. U prolly Don’t like it

Amp Reset?. I love this synth! I cut my teeth doing experimental music with a green Korg ES-1 back in the 00s and have really enjoyed making music in the Korg grove box format again. This app really feels like an instrument and I have fun playing it whether I’m working on something serious or just messing around. It sounds very, very good. If I could ask for one feature for the dev team to consider it would be to add another poly voice mode where the amp doesn’t reset to 0 when you play a note a second time. Sometimes called ‘analog amp’. I often use this for generative ambient music (because it’s 8 wavetable synths 😳) but the amp volume resetting and clicking kills the mood. Good thing I also love to abuse this thing in mono mode with extreme FM settings and make it scream. Don’t hear any clicks over the beautiful noise! Any chance we can get presets in AUV3 at some point? see it in action on my YouTube channel called ‘cryptonym’

Boring. Nothing new here just an app to make more off of pretty sad really KORG I’m ashamed you even did this nothing new like I say

Wavy Gravy. Put out the PPG wavetables Expansion pack please. That’s my request, for this or to incorporate in Gadget. 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊
