Awesome easy to use list. I really like this app. It makes looking up herbs very easy.

This app seems to be written by big pharma. What good is this app if all it does is tell you that each herb is basically of no use? It lists what people use them for, then goes on to say that research has concluded no benefits from these herbs. Basically, big pharma trying to steer you away from natural remedies

Evidence-based. I love this app! It’s so easy-to-use and informative. I love having evidence-based information at my fingertips to make decisions about whether to try an herbal product.

Beautiful and very informative. I love the look. Very easy to use.

Herbs heal the whole body!!. This app is obviously written by pharmaceutical promoters. Your body cannot be healed by just taking cinnamon and continuing all the other bad habits. You must heal your mind and spirit for the body to heal as well. Herbal remedies have been used since humanity has been around and there has never been a recall on one!

Not loading. This ap is blank and appears to be loading but never can. I have an iPhone SE 2022 model and the most updated OS, I don’t think it’s compatible with newer phones.

It’s good, but.... The overall design and functionality of the app is very good, no crashing. But there are aren’t a lot of herbs included, just basic ones.

Woefully incomplete. This app looks at herbal medicine only through the lens of the allopathic model. Every herb basically has the same woefully incomplete write up and the same caveat that high quality studies are lacking for every herb. Hmm probably because there is no money in studying a whole plant, all we’re interested in here in America is extracting ingredients and making drugs from them that we can then sell at a massive markup. Hard pass on this app.

Recommend!. I’ve tried them all, like this the best.

Not enough research has been done (blah blah). I’m very disappointed about this app as it offers nothing new to my current understanding about plants being used as treatment for various diseases. Of course, none of the information found here is useful towards treatment options for people looking for more affordable ways to treatment various illnesses and diseases. Why? Because America has been bought out by the pharmaceutical industry. You think if a drug maker found a way to treat the flu or hepatitis that is 1000 fold cheaper than what’s available in the current market would make that information available to the general public? Of course not! They’d be out of business and neither would they put the money towards very cheap ways to treat diseases because the pharmaceutical industry is business. Research in the United States is business, if there’s no profit motive to be made, why even bother? Welcome to the United States. The country where greed rules over the less fortunate.

Disappointed. It’s a good app except for one drawback…the list of herbs is woefully short. It doesn’t even scratch the surface of what is out there. I may revisit in a few months to see if the listings have expanded considerably.

Wonderful app idea!. Really appreciate finding all this information in a free app. Only gave it 4 stars after a quick look around, but I’m looking forward to digging into the information to be found here!

Finally a research-based app about herbs!. I came here from their Instagram account. I loved NCCIH’s Herbs at a Glance. It is very helpful. Only Trouble was I had to use my browser every time I looked up something. And it took time to load. BUT this app is even better! I can learn about dietary supplements, safety effectiveness etc. all in ONE app! It also lets me work offline (which is great because my i often don’t have connectivity in my supermarket and tags where I purchase most of my herbal supplements!!!!) thanks for this app NCCIH!

Is this app making use of all scientific data?. For just about every herb included in the app it says, “There’s not enough evidence to show whether (insert herb name) is helpful for most of the purposes for which people use it.” I suggest the app developers look more closely at available and reliable scientific studies.

Useless. This app provides next to no information about herbs. Not sure what the point of putting time and energy into this unless the point was to deter people AWAY from herbs. There is so much information that could be included, but instead just blanket statements on each herb write up. Just terrible.

Easy & evidence based. As a pharmacist, I like that I can quickly use this at work if a patient has a question about an herbal supplement and I feel comfortable recommending this app to my patients. However it would be more helpful if they also characterized the herbs by disease state, for example, showing the herbs that may be helpful for insomnia.

Love it.. This site gives clear, concise information in an easy to understand format on what the studies show as far as we know.

Too few herbs. SO MANY herbs are missing. Not helpful.

Negative. Great information but it’s a shame all of your opinions are negative. Herbal medicine has been around a lot longer than pharmaceutical and in this app you are suggesting none of is has merit by your choice of words. Very disappointing

Typical “ There is no evidence” that this herb does anything. This is your typical herbal list done by medical personnel .They don’t help find out what any herbs are good for. They just want to ward you off of taking any without “ scientific proof” , which there is none of….Because they would be out of business!

HerbList. The pictures are not detailed enough. Not much useful information.

Completely useless. A waste of public funds
