Missing bass lines. Basic, Rock, Funk, Soul, and Shuffle lines are not appearing. Jazz and Reggae seem to be working

Good but limited.. So crazy that this doesn’t have Auv3 support. Would be far more useful.

No amp adsr envelope . Sound clicks after note ends. No release time adjustments.. Just bought this app, not usable with clicks after note ends.

Disconcerting. A novel beginning yet remains unpolished NO AUDIOBUS. WHY. OFFERS CHORD PROGRESSION BUT ONLY 10 VARIATIONS...FAR TOO FEW FOR ANY SERIOUS MUSICIAN. WHEN DECIDING A CHORD PROGRESSION THE SCREEN DISAPPEARS RAPIDLY...GIVING THE MUSICIAN LITTLE TIME TO DESIGN A PROPER PROGRESSION NO HELPFUL VIDEO OR INSTRUCTION TO HELP PURCHASER NAVIGATE THE NEW APP. THUS LOTS OF WASTED TIME SPENT TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO OPERATE THE APP. IT APPEARS THAT THE DESIGNER WAS IN A HURRY TO RELEASE THIS APP IN ORDER TO MAKE A QUICK $18 PER SALE RATHER THAN DO A THOROUGH JOB. UNETHICAL IN MY OPINION

A dream come true!. Thank you so much for this app! It’s so wonderful to be able to easily create amazing backing tracks or use it for songwriting. The sounds are amazing, easy to use and sound great with their sister drum apps. And the chord midi out to a synth just makes it all the more groovy. It really is a dream come true!

Wow!. BEST most versatile music accompaniment app available

Midi clock. If this app had midi clock like funk Drummer and rock drum this would be perfect I sync funk Drummer with cubasis and there work perfect so can you please incorporate midi clock with iBassist

Super cool. I’ve picked up a few of the drum apps as well and this integrates so nicely with those. These apps make practicing and coming up with new ideas so much fun. I would still like to be able to preview the notes in the line editor to make it a little easier to program grooves. Overall a great app and well worth the cost.

No manual, no bass sound. Without a manual I’ve listened to piano chords since I bought it. Doug didn’t help much so I deleted the program. Hopefully there will be some type of manual in the future

Fantastic!. iBassist is now exactly what I was hoping for. The issues I previously experienced have been fixed, and now AUV3 support! I’m hoping that the rest of the drummer suit gets the same treatment. The MIDI features in iBassist make it extremely easy to work out riffs with other synth apps, making AUM jamming a lot more fun. The only issues I experienced so far is that sometimes iBassist sounds lag a bit after tweaking settings, but thats easily fixed after stopping and restarting. Otherwise, well worth the purchase!

Almost Fantastic!. Fantastic Idea ..but...there seems to be a slight lag between the Bass Sound and the Drums that are linked.(I own 4 of your Drum Apps, and they all lag a little behind.) I didn’t notice this at first. Other than that, yes it does Crash some and Freaks Out when using AUM sometimes. Works great otherwise. But, once you notice the Lag you can’t forget that it’s there. Please Fix This and you will have yourself something really Groundbreaking.

App shuts down after start up screen. I have an iPad Pro and was really looking forward to this app, as I enjoy many of this developer’s fine apps. I have the latest iOS and app update, and have even reinstalled it and to no avail, it worked for a few days and then every time I try opening the app, it shuts down right after startup screen. What is going on with this? Otherwise, when it worked, it was very cool.

Very cool and useful. Reggae isn’t my primary scene, but since this was cheap, I went with. This is great. A lot of options, and you can make your own bass bits. Very pleased. Good work on the part of this dev.

No app like this, awesome functionality. Lumbeat is just fantastically clever and really thinking of the user in the way they conceptualize and execute feature sets. 5 stars for whatever Lumbeat touches, they are fantastic apps and ought to be converted to desktop and even into a full suite like a mini DAW or something, I think the dev really thinks deeply about how to make something that gives users all the control they could want. That makes any complaint a moot point IMO, but here’s what I wish was better: No MIDI export option! Maybe because some lines are absolute copies of copyrights tunes? Would just like to be able to use this as a production tool sometimes. MIDI out on drummers = absolute bliss. Tones are cheesy. MIDI out is possible so solves that problem but it would be nice to get higher quality tones in house across all Lumbeat apps. Most of the bass tones in here sound like they were sampled from children’s keyboards. No offense to Luis, but with the high quality across the feature list, tones seems a weird spot to make sacrifices. Maybe big samples are heavier on live performance processing? Design. Lot of information jumbled into intense menu sets. They are useable. But not elegant. Overwhelming to navigate and I think that’s because the info is presented trying to provide as much as possible all at once. I’d rather get decisions fed to me in a less spaceship console kind of manner, esp when using live I don’t need so much at hand. All that aside I LOVE the updates lately and hope more are coming, and really am dying for the classic country Americana singer songwriter drummer! That’s such an obvious missing piece in my book and could be built out of the apps you already have with more focus on patterns and tones for that world.

Hoping for more Jazz. This is a good app, but I was disappointed in lack of bass options for jazz (tones and progressions). Also, how do I add Maj 7 chords in the progression? Please add, thanks!

Almost perfect. What an amazing app sir, just like all your other apps. There's two things I would love you to include in the near future. First: It'd be great to have the same MIDI foot controller options as the drums apps. Second: It'd be perfect if it could run on iPhone as well. Looking forward for those updates.

Need note control of samples. The samples are so cool. I can’t use it as a simple tone module though. Is that a feature that could be added ? It’d be nice to be able to run these samples inter app. Via standard note control and just of the chord progressions.

Amazing. I am syncing iBassist with all of Luis Martinez’s apps without a glitch and it’s sounds amazing ...the options are limitless .. I use Auria pro on an iPad Pro in a mobile setting :) Thank you Luis Martinez and Co!!

New bug. Use these apps with drummer apps everyday. Only recently, every drummer app crashes when I try to ‘make drums’ via iBassist (host app - AUM) please fix!! My heart aches without these grooves

Great app. Love the app! I tried other apps for different instruments and have been disappointed. This one works amazingly well. One recommending if possible: Any chance of getting more effects in the future? For example, distortion would be great (I prefer the fuzz type of distortion myself. Maybe different types?). Thanks for the great work?

Are there Latin bass lines for the AfroLatin app. When I bought the jazz drums app I was excited to see that some jazz baselines appeared. Are there also bass lines for AfroLatin, and if so, how do you access?

Great app. But it would be better if you could select the scale and the kind of scale you want to use. Sometimes it crashes but I am almost sure that is going to be fixed in future update I have other apps from Luis Martínez and they are all amazing. Recommended!!! P.S. Jazz bass please

Export Audio?. Love this app! Are there plans to include an export audio function like in Funk Drummer? I hope so, that would make it 5 star for me.

Trying.. Well, trying to learn, I thing could be very good, but could not rename progressions, and sometimes crashes. Crossing notes and chord definitions, it’s very short time. Thank you.

Quits quit often. I love the lumbeat drum apps, and thought this would be a fun Jam setup. When it works, it’s okay, but crashes about every five minutes when I’m exploring. Fussy little thing…

Not very useful yet.. There is still much to do to make this a useful app. No manual, please explain the functions. Crashes all the time.

AUV3 update. I’d abandoned this app because of app instability and thinking that it’d been abandoned by the developer. Yet, he comes back with an AUV3 update. For that he deserves a 5 (or maybe 10 if possible :) ).

I love this thing. This app is both fun and useful. As with other Lumbeat apps instructions are lacking. However I have much more praise than criticism. Works great with their other apps.

Too many crashes. Really enjoy the app. When it’s working. Hard to recommend with the number of crashes.

Amazing. Just brilliant!

Crashes iPad 6th gen os12 when in song mode. I guess the developers did program this thing to have a mind of its own, but it does weird stuff and crashes my iPad in song mode. Nice idea, but buggy. I love the drummer apps (but they don’t always play nice with other midi) but this one is so buggy it detracts from a great idea. I’d have given it 5 stars prior to attempting to use song mode. A shame it behaves so unpredictability. Hopefully it will be improved.

Lovely bit of kit.. Very smart idea this. Fastest way to whip up a decent riff I’ve encountered ... and hooked up with a decent drum kit from the same stable and you have a very flexible and expandable concept. Looking forward to more please. Yum.

Great app!. … least use to be. Now freezes a lot with AUM, no sound. Needs a serious update for iPadOS 16.

Fantastic!. Another great app from Luis Martinez. Incredibly useful for getting a solid foundation to a song going. The developer is already working on useful updates. Highly recommended!

Constant crashes and no manual?. Crashes constantly on iPad with iOS 13. Using random pattern button causes crashes. Crashes in aum. AUM confirmed it was not a problem with AUM. Worst of all, no manual? How can you release a complicated app without a manual? Most of the bass sounds are terrible. The only usable preset was double bass. The played progressions don’t make sense and sound awful. Soft drummer app has the same problem with constant crashes. If this was $3 not a big deal, but $30 for this level of bugs? Will not buy anything from this dev again. Sent in at least 5 but reports and got no response to any of them.

Abandoned?. Please update this app. For the prices you charge, you shouldn’t need to be asked.

Disappointing. I love the idea of this app but the most basic editing functions are so onerous that all my creative energy goes into trying to make the damn thing work.

Almost there. I bought iBassist to work with the jazz drummer app, and although it sounds great, it doesn’t do sharps or flats so really doesn’t do jazz or walking bass lines. I should have done more research before purchasing it.
