What is rexton app app? The Rexton App enables users of Rexton hearing aids, purchased 2014 or later, to adapt these safely and conveniently to their individual requirements and to adjust and control them.
In addition, the Rexton App includes various services and functions that support or automatically take over the extended use of your hearing aids.

All features and services are subject to the following factors:
- brand, type and platform of the hearing aid

Basic functions of the Rexton App:
With the Rexton App the hearing aid wearer can use a smartphone to remote control the paired hearing aids. The Rexton App also offers a comfortable range of functions for simple devices in the entry-level segment, e.g.

- various listening programs
- tinnitus signal
- volume control
- sound balance


Hearing aid-dependent functions of the app:
Depending on the technical equipment of the hearing aids and depending on the default functions of the provider, the Rexton App allows the following functions to be controlled, like

No Apple Watch Support. As modern earring aid apps goes, this is substantially behind the curve. It has a nice interface that doesn’t magically compensate for the rather basic functionality. I want Apple Watch support - even if phone proximity is required. I don’t want to haul out my phone to switch programs.

Disappointed. Rexton Assist doesn’t make very helpful adjustments. Also, valuable time is wasted trying to restore Bluetooth connectivity that gets lost too frequently.

Terrible app. Too many flaws to list in one sitting. The Versions menu is convenient, it shows the version of the app, but more portly model number, and serial number of each of my hearing aids. You can also test your hearing aid batteries, but having beeps sent to them. This is also very useful. The user guide is a joke, even when you choose Rexton from the other brands my hearing aids, but doesn’t know what user guide I should use. One realize I was on an app to figure out how to do things. It can’t show me if an iPad Pro is compatible. I’m trying to sync up I can’t get any help on that. There are many other times I’ve gone into the app to try and do a variety of things with no luck at all. The searches, a joke, but then there’s no information on the app worth searching.

Too bad. Is a good concept but one control for both ears does not work well at all. My left ear is far worse than my right ear so one control for both ears just does not work well. For the price of these hearing aids I would think the app would be far better! Very disappointed in the app.

What??!!!!. So it’s been 2 years and aside from the first month or two, the REXTON devices are nothing but ear plugs. And when I ask for assistance I get sent to have my ears cleaned of wax. I’m wondering how much wax can accumulate in a week. The app says I’m at 100% charged and offers no relevant information to fix the problem that the devices aren’t working. Had my ears cleaned today so I’ll drive 45 miles to the nearest Costco for assistance tomorrow. Again

Absolute Garbage. App is shamefully inadequate and difficult to use. Shockingly, a recent update left the program less functional, as volume controls for the left and right devices are now permanently linked. Back to Costco to hopefully replace these with a brand controlled by a reliable app.

Junk. App is junk. Rexton assist never works. Always crashes and states “system issues “. Garbage! You have to agree to let Rexton have access to all your information to get the assist to unlock then the piece of junk does not work. Why don’t you Rexton app geniuses hire a high school kid to fix your joke of an app…

Is there a fix?. I'll be listening to my AirPods. They'll shut off, and I find that my iPhone Bluetooth is now connected to the hearing aids. I don't want this to happen but there's no way to stop it. If customer support is reading this, please let me know what I can do to fix this problem.

App is one step above useless. Volume control can not be used. Other functions are difficult at best. Recommend that this app be sent back to quality control and allow users to go back to the old one.

Can’t do much with this app. Hearing aids can be difficult to connect to Bluetooth. This app doesn’t really do much when it is connected. But at least when you get it connected it’s nice to be able to listen to pod casts and telephone conversations via the aids.

The Rexton Assist feature…. Not too crazy about the full results from the Rexton Assist. True, I am able to hear the tv better BUT, each time I go into another app the total hearing decreases immensely until I close the app (not just one app but, all apps). My two cents.

1-year later. This app only used when Bluetooth iPhone shortcut is not working correctly. Almost always I have to reset everything or go back to Costco. Now I have left preset only, Cannot set volume on left side, Cannot turn off either. It is a royal pain to reset yourself. You have to reset three times before it actually does the job.

These hearing aids do not improve my hearing. Every day, when I put these hearing aids on, I have to readjust all the settings. They don’t always hold all day. we just left dinner with friends and I kept trying to adjust my hearing aids. I could hardly hear, I kept having to say, say that again, say that again. So embarrassing and frustrating! My husband still wears resound and has very little problems with his settings or hearing. I wish I still had my ‘resound’.

Out of luck. Since you got the previous app replaced by the Rexton app, nothing works right. I hear reverb and buzzing all the time and my hearing is very bad, even for simple conversations My dealer can’t seem to correct this problem. I am being forced to look at new hearing aids. I paid over $300 to have the pair refurbished with no improvement. Four years of excellent hearing before that app

It ok - it does the job but minimal. I would like to be able to save my settings. My only options are automatic or manually adjust. If I am in church or in the office or at the dinner table I’d like to be able to select mode please.

Apple watch app would be nice. Apple watch app would be nice for quick adjustment.

Disappointed. I preferred the app prior to Rexton. There was so much more to the other app. I could adjust my hearing aids to different environmental settings. Rexton is not anything like the previous app.

First Time User of Rechargeable Hearing Aids. I recently got those after researching and asking friends about this brand. All have great reviews. After wearing them I can see how we’ll interactive the app is. I would like to suggest on seeing some additional features like a tap to mute on hearing aid microphone. And equalizers for handfuls of us who love music and tv watching via streaming. This app has a lot of potentials as I also see its similar to the Signia app.

Illogical. No logical reason why the volume indicators keep changing. I will set things in the app and then go back later, and all the settings are changed. The strange!

Bluetooth problems.. I have to continuously reboot my iPhone to get the Bluetooth pairing feature for both hearing aids to work.

Battery Level icon. After iOS 16.5.1 update the app battery level icon no longer works. Will have to get Costco audiology to trouble shoot.

Bad. The new controls are hard to use bring back the old ones

Apple Watch. Need to develop app to be able to use apple watch with this app. Some of us have a stand alone watch!! PLEASE.!!

No good. I don’t have nearly the adjustments listed. Blue tooth connection is a joke. Managed to connect twice in 8 months. Must be within 3 feet of person to hear them. Don’t go to meetings anymore because I can’t hear anything. Phone conversation is possible if I remove aids and use speaker. Otherwise they ok.

Too confusing App. It is difficult to use the app. Try adjusting sound quality but did not get satisfactory results.

Keeps loosing its settings. Everyday, sometimes several times a day, I have to redo the settings in this app. The app is basically more irritating than helpful.

Difficult. it doesn’t always stay connected. The rubber tips are impossible to get off to change. I liked the old app..

Not a fan. I think that they to put more effort in this app I’ve used other hearing aid apps and they have been allot better. Like allowing you to add more base while listening to music and the treble is way too high in general and adjusting the app for this does nothing!

Irrational changes. My app suddenly changed to a black background and says it isn’t connected to my hearing aids, after working great for 6 weeks. I have to go back to Costco to find out what happened and fix it. I have an Apple 13 so it should work fine.

Meh. I’ve worn HAs for 9 years, so I know what to expect. The jury is still out on the HAs. The app has some great features, but the Assist adjustments aren’t all that great. I had way more flexibility with my old HAs/app. Having to drive 45 minutes for an adjustment that I was able to do myself on the old app isn’t appealing at all.

Lost one hearing aid. I lost the left hearing aid, can I buy just one.

Another step in the wrong direction. The useless mask mode button/icon is taking up valuable “real estate” on the main screen. Sure hoping for l/r volume/balance control when streaming music some day SOON!

Rexton Adore Rechargeable. My experience with this hearing aid has been terrible. I’ve had several adjustments by Costco and have had the rechargeable batteries replaced a few times. They are now approaching 5yrs and of course need replacing. They are pretty much worthless right now. The right one only holds a charge for maybe 2 or 3 hours. Last time I visited Costco they made a small adjustment in base volume but did not want to make any other changes. Try to talk to the “tech” about getting new ones and she brushed me off.

Not happy. I can’t get these things to work. Can’t get the volume to go up. Can’t get audiobooks to come through, never mind phone calls. I want my money back, biggest waste of $1500.

Opinion on the app. It seems that it’s stability could use some improvement. Does a good job when it works

Volume control. The new app on my phone stinks. Impossible to set volume. What idiot changed that interface? The old sliding volume controls and white background were excellent - now is worse than terrible. Please fix it or return to the previous version. You have been suckered into change when it was not needed. I defy you you sync the two volumes on the quarter inch , hair trigger slider ! Lsfu215

Too difficult. Was forced to migrate to this app and every time I try to stream I can’t figure it out

Does what it has to. Basic functionality. Really could use Apple Watch component. It would be nice to change the volume through the watch

Constant issues. I have had these hearing devises for about a year and they have been sent for repair 2 times. I go to the help desk at least every 4-6 weeks as they don’t connect to Bluetooth many times. Have reloaded the app many times, paired again and again. I am very frustrated.

App was better. Does not address whistling other than how to put the hearing aid on ( no help) Also where’s the solution to loud mechanical noises? The app used to be pretty good maybe 4 stars now 2.5

Don’t trust the battery level report…. The battery level is never accurate. Shows & 90% at times and battery will go dead in hours. Other features are okay, but adjustments take a bit to get used to.

Update to the dark ages. In recent upgrade hearing aids do not connect to my Bluetooth. I have had them switched out and even new ones do not connect. Everything else with Bluetooth connect even when not an Apple product. What is the the function of directional, mask features, and easy volume control if you can’t access it. It feels like the hearing devices of old. Old app had zero problems.

Review. Fantastic now I can hear the tv without turning the volume up to 90%. Love it so does my family.

Recent update to interface destroyed connectivity. Everything was fine until Rexton updated its interface. There was nothing wrong with the old interface. Now, however, my hearing aid’s won’t pair with the app. The new interface is useless if the app doesn’t pair!

Upgrade is horrible. The app was pretty good and now with the upgrade the volume control is Allmost impossible to operate I like the volume at 7 or 8. The new app like 0 & 15. If I try hard enough I can get it at 6 or 9 but it wants to go to 15. Please fix this.

Inconsistent app connection. My hearing aids are difficult to get connected to blue tooth with my iPhone. They drip off at least 3x/day, and I often have to reboot my phone to get connection. I have no problem with other blue tooth connections. I’m beginning to regret getting these hearing aids. I’m going back to Costco about them.

I cannot recommend. These hearing aids help, but I’ve had so many problems with distortion, tinny sounds, they have been replaced twice but it just happens again. I take very good care of these as at this price it would take a while to pay for new ones. I am just not happy with them and the app is practically useless.

Something went wrong. I don't know whether it's a recent update of the app or of the iPhone, but now the app does not operate as it should. The volume control used to have two sliders, but not it only has one, and it only seems to work on the right hearing aid. The directional control also seems to work only on the right. The assist feature is for the birds: it keeps saying that it can't communicate with the hearing aids. This is after checking that they are paired up with the phone and, separately that they are paired up with the app. Many times when we are with friends in a noisy environment, I try to adjust to the situation using the app and it's really frustrating. I have to keep taking off my hearing aids, put them in the charger to restart them, put them on top of the phone to pair them to the phone, repeat the process with the app and then they still don't respond to the app.

Bluetooth does not connect after latest updates. No longer has a good connection with the Bluetooth on my iPhone or iPad. Looks pretty but does not work.

One word for this app. One word (useless)

What a down grade. Hi Everyone, This App is terrible compared the one it replaced. How bad is it anyone that likes Costco hearing aids are forced into using this useless app. All you’re option’s to control background noise options have been taken away. Please bring back the original app. Sad that someone in Costco thought that it was an improvement they should lose their job and take the app with them.

Terrible app. This is a useless app and very basic and antiquated compared to the last hearing Sid’s I purchased off Cosco

Rubbish App. Continuous drop out of Bluetooth connection to my hearing aids! I need to able to hear & hearing aids won’t work if Bluetooth drops! It’s not my hearing aids or my phone, but this pathetic app!

Hearing aids brilliant;App is terrible. The Rexton hearing aids are brilliant, but seriously compromised by the shocking app. Surely they can afford to hire competent app producers to fix this! For example, it sometimes opens not on the home page which contains the Volume Control - and let’s not go there - with no pathway back to home. Ridiculous!

Terrible. Give us back the PREVIOUS settings.

Features removed?. For some unknown reason the hearing situation options have been removed. Why would you remove features from software? We now have no way to switch to suit the changing hearing situations. Dumb & Dumber in charge of the software department? Please reinstate the features of the previous version.

Not good enough!. Totally agree, ten times worse than the one it replaced. 😡 Bring back the old with its user friendly options and dump the new!

Don’t bother with this.. Can only make basic changes to volume and microphone. Unable to change environment so if in restaurant or group talking they make the hearing aid useless. Serious let down to a quality product, suggest looking at other brands.

Very Poor. This app, unlike Rexton/ Kirkland HAs, is ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!! It’s workings are unintelligible and is only half the Smart Direct app it replaces. I cannot reconnect to tv or music streaming. Hope Costco’s excellent audiology dept can help! Normphilp ….Australia

Bluetooth interrupts. The app is not working properly. Several times per day I have to restart my hearing aids and reboot my Bluetooth on both my iPhone and my iPad. At other times it moves one or both aids to zero volume without being near either my phone or iPad. Very frustrating and poor performance for the money paid. Furthermore, the practice of having to enter a unique nickname to post a review is useless.

New app. Totally useless for me to change settings with my fingers A lot of screen space that could be better used I want to go back to the old version and will be contacting someone to do it Not happy at all Probably not tested with a grown adult rating zero Why screw around with nicknames when after 5 tries they are taken

Useless app!. Good hearing aid, too bad the app is completely useless.

Working fine. I just got Rexton BICORE L180 Standard (ITE) aids from Costco and this app is 5* with them. It would be a nice addition if the app could change the programming defaults so adjustments I make to volume/frequency balance/microphone polar response for each program are not lost when the HAs go back in the charger.

Glad I didn’t heed all negative reviews. App is GREAT for me on iPhone SE 2nd generation. Only trouble is when I have Bluetooth on iPad, sometimes HAs pair with iPad, I just turn off iPad Bluetooth & restart HAs if necessary. Use the directional feature often, makes a real difference. So nice not to have a device hanging on my neck / carrying a remote control when always have phone with me.

Bluetooth. Lost Bluetooth since 2 days. I tried a few things to reinstall it but it doesn’t work. I’m very upset and frustrated by the lack of quality of this app.

Worst app ever. Drops connection constantly. Not able to direct sound to hearing aids or speakers, just does either one randomly. Would like to return hearing aids just because of the app.

App stopped working.. Had been working for the first couple of weeks then stopped. I can check my batteries but won’t pair for phone calls.

Not Accessible for the blind or partially sighted. The app is not fully accessible with a screen reader. You can’t turn on or off the streaming or access any of the buttons on the bottom of the app.

Volume control. Hate the new volume control change. Impossible to make minor changes—not thought out carefully. Slower elder fingers not taken into account. CHANGE IT BACK!!!

No Apple Watch support. I don’t use the app much but would be more inclined to do so if it would work on my Apple Watch. Really would like to bluetooth from my watch to my hearing aids

Inconsistent. One or the other hearing aid cuts out when bluetoothing to iPhone to listen to music. Poor.

Awesome App with hearing AIDS. This app is the best app if you use it with your iPhone. You have control at your phone. It’s like driving your car . I recommend this App! It also can dictate your Tex massages as well a play radio programs as well music from your provider via your iPhone.

Bluetooth. Can’t pair with iPhone 13. Had iPhone11 before and it took longest time to pair and numerous tries. Not impressed.

Just OK. Bluetooth connection keeps dropping, have to reboot iPhone to reconnect. Volume and balance seem to work ok.

Poor app. Constantly need to reboot the Bluetooth settings because it constantly drops out of connection

Unhappy. I am sorry but this app has taken me back in time. I would love to have the Smart Direct App back. What happened to the different environment settings ie cafe, theatre, meeting. The only thing this app has is directional audio. Please make changes for the better not worse

App is inconsistent. Seldom able to review battery strength of hearing aids. Message say ‘not matched.’ Not reliable at all.

Rexton app. Terrible app. Doesn’t always convert from one setting to the next. ie.) from auto to tv and vice versa No improvement over previous app

Robbie from Kelowna BC. Just downloaded the application and paired my device. So far everything is looking good. I still have one more appointment at Costco in September 2023 for a follow up. I highly recommend them. Everyone was extremely nice to me. The price is exceptional $2,100 for 2, (right and left). I’m going to review them again in October 2023. Cheers for now. !!!! Stay tune.

Crash Warning. This app should come with airbags, it crashes so often. I’m still using the old unsupported app as this one is unusable.

No work. The app doesn’t work. Hearing aids too loud even at volume number 1

Poor quality app. You lose all functionality of the app, can’t make any adjustments to the volume, half the time can’t even check battery life

Horrible App!!!. I have worse hearing in my left ear so I turn up the volume on that side higher than the other. This helps. Problem is the app constantly resets both hearing aids to have the same volume levels after 10 or 20 minutes. I will start to notice I can’t hear so I check the app and sure enough it’s changed my settings again! Very very very poor app for something as essential as hearing:(

Rexton app not worth the effort. Every time you try to adjust them they say setting is too low, very frustrating. Functionality not as useful as the previous software I had.

Useless. Constant trouble with Bluetooth, iPhone and hearing aids. Not worth the trouble of always fiddling around before trying to use the phone, Have had better communications with two tin cans and a tight string. Complete junk

Hear aides. Every time I have to update my phone the wifi disconnects this has to be the worst

Terrible App. Changing the volume and bass settings on the app does not change the hearing aids. Have to open the battery door and restart the hearing aids to make it work.

5 minutes and out. I’ve had this app for 5 minutes. It’s disconnected and reports “not paired”. Funny, it was paired 5 minutes ago. This app is junk.

Useless. My comments are the same as the others this app does not stay connected to Bluetooth

Disappointed. I have tried so many times to just connect to my hearing aids but with no luck , what’s up with this app ? It’s always new and improved lol how about leaving old and working alone !! Who even designed this app please go back to work and see if you can get it to work. A quick question. App is extremely poor. The app continually loses Bluetooth connection. I study languages on Duolingo and my hearing aids consistently go mute. Many lessons are timed so to adjust, which takes time, I frequently just remove the aids, which renders the hearing of phrases mute to my ears. The “fixes” are extremely limited. Given a choice, I would not use this app.

Enjoy Rexton app. I think Rexton all is great as I can adjust the volume on my. Hearing aids👍

Rexton. I’m happy

User friendly with lots of adjustments. Love that I don’t need to carry an extra remote with me. App has all the adjustments I need with extras like a face mask mode, directional adjustment and an assistant that can send me new programming if I can’t get in to see my hearing healthcare provider.

Totally useless ap. This app does not give any useful controle of any of the functions of my hearing aid . Totally useless

Needs a lot of work!. Unable to connect, turn on Bluetooth or make any Settings changes. We are not idiots.

Not able to connect. Connection was on and off, now I can’t connect at all. Very poor app

Poor performance. Bluetooth connectivity unstable. App is basic and only marginally useful. Aides have a lot of feedback issues. Unless adjustments improve them substantially they will be returned.

Poor. Not sure if it is the App it’s self or the hearing aids. My hearing aids keep cutting in and out almost like they are searching for a blue tooth connection. Sound goes low then high. I find many dead spots in the grocery store, where I can’t hear anything at all. So not sure if it the Hearing Aids or App it’s self…

Nuisance. Bluetooth connection constantly drops and doesn’t reconnect. Have to uninstall and reinstall each time. Otherwise app is really good.

Terrible. I hate this app loses Bluetooth connection and I very seldom get both hearing aides to work in stereo I should have went to another different set of hearing aides the app is useless and the hearing aides are terrible

Blue tooth. Loss of blue tooth connection. Can only use “loud or noisy “ settings sometimes. Has a mind of it’s own.

Doesn’t work. I got my hearing aids in 2014 and this app absolutely will not work no matter what I do! Very frustrating and makes my hearing aids useless to use!

Poorly designed app. Hearing aids continually lose the Bluetooth connection. When listening to a podcast from iPhone there is no way to control the sound levels with the app. Rexton doesn’t reply to queries after sending an email when I was looking for help. For the price I was expecting better.

Poor functionality. I was told at purchase I would be able to control hearing aid from iPhone. Perhaps technically true but app does not allow one to control L/R balance or frequency response. Furthermore there is no indicator tone to let user know what changes he is making in the few changes that are possible. One is better off using the hearing device controls within iOS where balance at least can be controlled via mic sensitivity. Rexton App is an insult to users who after all paid a lot of money for the devices. A radical revision is needed to this feeble app and it is needed soon.

Nothing to see here. Very disappointed. They should have learned by this time to have the top 3 things a user needs at their fingertips. I couldn’t find the battery power icon very easily. There seem to be unnecessary beeps through you the day, like it is adjusting to something- what? After 2-3 days of wearing my aids, the battery storage said they were still full, which shouldn’t have been. The next time I wore them they were spent entirely.

Bluetooth button. The Bluetooth button does not turn on Bluetooth. My phone has Bluetooth turned on. The Bluetooth button is blue it tries to connect but it does not . The Bluetooth button automatically turns to the off position. I tried playing an ITunes song and the music plays through the hearing aids. Does blue mean off and gray on?

Useless. I used a different app for my previous hearing aides, which were also Costco. That was useful; I could change the settings and could see if my Bluetooth was connected. This one is truly good for nothing. I really, really hate how my hearing aids randomly connect to various devices and I have no control over that. Ideally the app would help you manage this. Just tried to update the app but it's not updating. Who knows why?

Very Poor Software. I am using an iPhone 2020 SE, so it is not a particularly old or outdated phone. My IOS & my Rexton software are all up to date. I use Bluetooth to connect to a fitness band, wireless earphones, two different automobile sound systems, and a couple other devices. The ONLY device I ever have trouble connecting between phone and device is my Rexton hearing aids’ software. Somehow, connections are lost in the middle of the day for no reason — any other Bluetooth connections are still active. Today I wanted to shut my aids off while hiking in high wind. I hoped to leave the aids in my ear rather than drop them into a pocket, but could not access the software — I was no longer paired. Couldn’t pair again in the field, so ended up rebooting my phone, “forgetting” the devices from the Bluetooth, deleting and re-installing the Rexton software, and re-pairing the aids to the phone. This happens every week - ten days. It may have started with the most recent release. Recommend someone fix your software or educate your programmers. This is my last ever Rexton hearing aids. I may be retired, but I have better ways to spend my time or be frustrated.

Remote control. When this app works normal it’s nice I can switch different functions I can adjust the volume I can adjust the traveling base but like today everything is just froze I’ve tried turning my phone off two and three times and it just nothing is working on it thankfully I could adjust my hearing aids by the switches that are on the hearing aid but other than that I’m stuck in TV mode there’s got to be something that can be done I just don’t know what if anybody knows of anything please let me know.

Rexton hearing aids from Costco. Poor service and would not recommend buying. The instruction manual and materials include more features than the product is capable of. The set I received were not programmed to my individual needs and the audiologist was clearly above her water in explaining functions settings and limited capabilities of the Rexton instruments. I will continue to work with the Costco personnel but eventually I don’t think they have the skill to help me.

Barely adequate. The app is not very intuitive. When you manually set volume and later change to auto the volume setting does not revert back to the auto settings value. In other words if the auto setting for volume is 8 and you manually override to a 3 it still indicates the volume level is 3 even after you return to the auto mode.

Faulty. Right ear aid constantly shuts dowrebooting doesn’t work 3 times back to Costco

Rexton ruined the app. Totally bad now since the update. Almost useless now.

Forget about stethoscope connectivity. I bought these at Costco in September of 2021. Although they do connect with my new iPhone, which I bought for this purpose, I also have $500 new series 3200 Littmann electronic stethoscopes with Bluetooth capabilities — 3 of them, with one of them just returned to me from 3M after a $150 refurbishment to be sure it would work with the hearing aids as promised —- and I can’t get the stethoscope to pair with the hearing aids; despite the fact that there is a seeming Blietooth flashing “icon” that just goes and goes and goes and goes, on and on and on…. With absolutely no connection ever established: I even read and re-read the instructions on my stethoscope, so I KNOW I was doing this correctly. So my guess is Rexton will blame the stethoscope, and Littmann will blame Rexton. But fact of the matter is that Bluetooth should be Bluetooth should be Bluetooth!! BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!

App Works Well. I have been using the app for about two months now, and have found it to function very well. My hearing aids connected to my iPhone easily, and with no problem, all the functions of the app have worked fine. The app also provides two functions that you would not have just with the hearing aids one is, it has five choices of background ““ white noise to benefit people with tinnitus, and it also can turn your phone into a microphone. The benefit of having your phone as a microphone is really great in loud situations such as a restaurant, you can’t put your phone in front of the person you’re with and it picks up their voice and transmit it to the hearing aids. This makes for much better hearing in those types of situations.

Blue tooth. My blue tooth disconnects for no apparent reason, yet it still works if I’m on the phone or listening to music or a podcast. I can find nowhere to figure how to trouble shoot the issue. Plus I’m going to have my number removed from my Apple Watch as it does not recognize these hearing AIDS. It’s annoying when I get a call and answer it continues ringing on my watch so I have to disconnect it and I’m always afraid I’ll drop my call. If it works on my iPhone why not my Apple Watch? A couple of annoying important glitches.

Not as helpful as it should be. I have the Rexton hearing aids purchased from Costco… Series 8. I have already downloaded this app for my iPhone. I have recently purchased the Rexton TV streamer for my hearing aids. This app does not address how to hook up the wireless TV streamer to my hearing aids. It is supposed to have a a means to direct wireless streaming Bluetooth, I have yet to find it This app really needs some serious attention and improvement.

Bluetooth issues. I have a similar problem with determining how to get the music I’m listening to on another Bluetooth-enabled device to redirect to my hearing aids or vice versa. The app doesn’t allow control over where the connection is being made. When the phone rings, it rings in the hearing aids, but when I pick up the phone, I can’t figure out how to get the caller’s voice to come through the hearing aids. I still need to put the phone up to my ear to continue the call.

App update. Worthless! Slider is volume 15 or 0 no in between . My Rexton hearing aids are useless! This app needs to be fixed NOW.

Junk. This has been setup by experts at phone and hearing aid company and says blue tooth connected but no audio in phone calls except first call of the day

Bluetooth very bad. Love my hearing aids but the Bluetooth thru the app is very inconsistent. Often does not work with other apps.

Last time I purchase Rexton. You would think a person could stop notifications through the hearing aids with out shutting off Bluetooth on phone. Notifications are to loud when connected and not on vibrate. The hearing aids connect to phone calls sporadically, but not when you want them to. Same with videos not always connecting with Bluetooth enabled. Come on Rexton talk to your customers! You can do so much better. Rexton let us choose in your app settings how and what we want! Never again Rexton

Best Hearing Aid app. I’ve owned hearing aids for decades. This is the first app with the options and functionality that I’ve liked. If you have Rexton hearing aids this app will provide several helpful features. I noticed one review suggested that it would be helpful to be able to direct the Bluetooth to specific devices. This app has that ability so perhaps the tech support already improved it.

I agree…. I am in complete agreement with the poster that stated this app is not user friendly. Or maybe my hearing aids are not fully compatible with the app. How does a person know? I only know I do not get to use all the features advertised. Like individual sound adjustments for left and right. Very frustrating. And the so called “lessons “ don’t work either.

Rx control not satisfactory. I cannot get the background noise and “echo” out. Most of the time I can make out words!

Could be improved. This app needs to have a selection button for where your Bluetooth is going to. If you have been listening to music on another device, the hearing aids do not automatically go to where you want them to. When I want to answer the phone and hear through the hearing aid, The only method I have found to switch back again is to connect them to power and then off power. The audiologist made a few suggestions without actually testing to see if it works. Essentially he stated not to expect too much from low end hearing aids but at $1100 that’s not low-end for me. At least give me an app that gives me full control.

New hearing aids in hearing aid chargers. Have had the hearing aids for about a week and everything has gone perfect. The units charge up as they are supposed to. I can hear so much better with this unit than I could with my old ones. I am very satisfied with them. Still learning all the ins and outs of all of the different things did these hearing aids will do , it is amazing all the advancesments they have made.

Rexton App. This app is not user friendly. It is not connecting via Bluetooth. The App had fewer options for changing hearing amplification to a situation. The Volume is controlled by the telephone side buttons verses the toggles on the app. Does not ring in the hearing aid when telephone rings. Does not use right and left together. moves from left to right. I liked the old app better and plan to consult with the hearing aid vendor for new or different aids that work with the mobile phone better. I do not like this new app. Csue20

Terrible update. Latest app update is horrible. Impossible to adjust the volume without it going wide open or zero.

Bad app. If I could rate this with no stars I would. This is the worst app ever. I loose connection easily the volume is changes so little I have to go up or down at least 3-4. I don’t have the options I had on my other app. The worst is streaming. I can’t understand what is being said. It comes through so badly. I don’t have an option to listen through the speakers of my phone. Since Costco has taken away this app and I have no other options for an app I am thinking of going somewhere else and get hearing aids where I can chose a good app not a bad one.

Bob De. I do not like this application controlling my aids. It keeps messing up the aids. Several times I have had to delete the app and reinstall it. Just today I reinstalled and then had volume for each aid. Now that is already gone and now back to single control. I had more options on the old app. Also I have a lack of control. I open the app to reduce the volume down low and a screen pops up saying your volume is too high when I am showing volume at one. Please up.

Needs work. The app is ok but very slow in opening up in order to use the device. The major issue or problem is using the streaming function. In trying to open the TV streaming function on the phone app we almost always have to wait a long period for the streaming function to open up. That’s true in turning the function on and off. Sometimes we give up waiting and turn the hearing aids off. My wife and I both have the same issues with the Rexton hearing aids. I had a Phonak prior to the Rexton and never had any issues with streaming from the TV.

Bluetooth ?. Just doesn’t pair to iPhone Rexton Bicol c r-li total trash and a horrible ap

Controls. With the new update I have much control over my hearing aids as the slider is to small and to sensitive

Works as I would expect. I have no issues with the app. Initially setup was straight forward. It works seamlessly with my iOS devices. My iPhone defaults to my hearing aids once I’ve configured “Hearing Devices” under Accessibility in iOS settings. I can always change audio output to my iPhone speaker if I desire. Behavior is no different than with my Bose Bluetooth headphones.

New app is terrible. Impossible to control volume or balance.

Clunky app. The app is clunky and hard to transfer between devices. The hearing aids are great.

Needs combined Bluetooth/gps locator capability. This is a serious short coming for devices as expensive and small as hearing aids. Starkey Phonac and Widex offer this feature which gives one a good shot at finding your hearing aids even if they are 50 miles away. There are aftermarket apps that use Bluetooth to help find hearing aids but they are limited to a range of about 50 feet. The Reksten hearing aids I got are excellent but the app is not up-to-date with the competitors apps

Weak tech support & other. I have used the In-app email for requesting tech-support. Replies have been slow and unhelpful. Usually I’m told I have to go to the provider to have a issue fixed. Also, the app does not work well with iOS devices. Especially if you have more than one device, the app is easily confused and prefers one device over the other. Even when I turn off one device, it does not work well on one of them. for example, the hearing aids are set up in ios settings, but Bluetooth mode cannot be switched on in the app.

Volume control. Way to sensitive impossible to set volume

Terrible program. Since they updated the app, my hearing aids no longer automatically connect to my iPhone and disconnect at weird times fo no apparent reason. When I called my hearing aid dispenser for help, they couldn’t help bc Rexton hadn’t updated them on the new app. Connecting my aids is a pain and takes a really long time and multiple restarts. My Bluetooth aids had been life changing before, but are now just frustrating. I will NEVER buy Rexton aids again!

Lousy App. Lousy hearing aids that don’t work with this lousy app that give battery status. Do not buy Rexton hearing aids, get Phontak instead much better hearing aids.

Surprisingly inadequate. I’m equally frustrated, along with those who have said the same, that with the tech available today, Rexton has chosen to offer an app that does essentially nothing. My aids were sent for some servicing so I was given a loaner set in the mean time. Didn’t like the aids, but the app was amazing, in comparison. Many control options, including setting your own individualized program. Going back to the Rexton app was just annoying. Aside from the volume, I can’t say there’s any change in function with adjustments in the app... for the couple things you’re supposedly able to adjust. I can only assume they must think we’re all senior citizens who don’t use Smartphones so don’t care about offering a competitive product, because this app isn’t even close.

Why change????. The Bass/Treble control is TERRIBLE. Totally uncontrollable. Why was it redesigned? This must be corrected or I will return my aids.

Hard to set up but good to use. Can’t get this new app to work with TV - the old app did work with no issue. Shows TV option but can’t hear TV when chosen. Also real pain to get it up and working at all. Does not have all the features of the old app. Will probably go back to old app even though it is no longer supported. Update - raised the app rating to a 4. Turns out the device used to connect the hearing aids to the TV needs to be reset and my hearing aids then reset after the new Rexton app is added. It would be nice if the new app suggested this. On the plus side, the new app is otherwise fine for use with the hearing aids. And the tech support (Brad) was very supportive and helpful.

Hearing Aids App. This App is terrible! I would not recommend anyone to buy the Rexton Hearing Aids. I couldn’t check my battery level, I couldn’t turn the volume up or down! They whistled so loud and long that I had to put my hand over my ear to get it to stop. It sounded like a surge in power. I did like that they fit into the ear but I had taken them back once to try another pair and they did the same thing. I am returning them and am going to try a different type. These weren’t cheap hearing aids, they were about $2500 for the set! They need to do some work on this type of hearing aids. I wouldn’t buy them unless they make some big improvements on them.

No connection. App quit connecting to my Costco hearing aids.

A poor replacement for their old app. I can’t imagine what Rexton was thinking when they put out this new app. I’ve lost several channels that were programmed into my hearing aids with the old app, but don’t appear on the new one. The ability to use your iPhone as a remote microphone is missing. So essentially this new app has fewer features and doesn’t improve anything except that it seems to open faster. If you have the old app don’t delete it. You’ll be sorry.

Does NOT deliver. The hearing aids seem OK though this is my 1st pair but the app is terrible. Whatever negative reviews you find about it are pretty accurate. It would not set up unless I agreed to allowing feedback and even then the 1st step is to identify the type of hearing aids but there is no way to choose between the two types pictured. Only if I replied neither was I allowed to proceed with Bluetooth pairing (which I had already done through iPhone). If I want to set up different situational programs I had to delete the app, reinstall and try again. Volume controls are terrible with only both aids being affected rather than either and navigating to needed adjustments is very clunky. I may just go to a different set completely over this as the app was represented as being capable of much more.

Rexton. Life changer.

App update is bad!. The June 2023 update is not sending audio to my hearing aids. No info on how to reestablish connection. It should be seamless!!

No instructions. There is nothing on line to explain how to set hearing aids or set features
