Slow to update. I love all of the Osmo apps that my two year old uses and he’s learning so much! But it takes too long for me to see his progress — he’s played weekly since Christmas and I only have two updates the last being January 26 — today is February 6 ☹️

Awesome!. I got my daughter Osmo for Christmas, it’s only been one day and she can’t stop playing with it. Her creativity is blossoming and I can’t wait to see what she does with the other kits.

The Parent App is great!. Pretty useful for tracking progress and understanding if my kids switched over to Netflix for an hour

Not really know the purpose. Not quite understand why they set up this parent app. Unlike other parent app, I couldn’t track my kids activities through this app, the only thing is just find instructions from each game which is almost useless as my daughters know how to use them. I received a mail to notify me what my daughters draw today with few pictures, I thought I could find them through this app but nothing was there. Very confused and not meet my expectation.

Amazing ideas and love seeing child’s background play 1 thing. I love that I get messages about my child’s game progress and what she’s learning I also like the ideas suggestion part of it is also very interesting and sound very fun like making post cards for rooms around the house very fun ideas and every body can see her art

Not user friendly. This company spends their resources on marketing, not building software. We picked up a sampler in the mall and spent 2 days trying to set it up and ultimately failed. The app vs box vs parent app all have different directions. Ultimately we were unable to activate the sampler and deleted the app. My son was very excited due to the marketing but ultimately disappointed and bored by the software.

Awesome!. My son (almost 5) got the little genius starter kit for Christmas and he has been playing for over an hour! I love that I can check the skills he has worked on and for how long.

Terrible no support. I’m so disappointed that I spent so much money on this. There’s no support and it is VERY hard to set up. No directions you have to use a separate parent app and get on a separate web site to even get started. Then it won’t recognize the perfect letters that my daughter is making and keeps telling her they are wrong. And no support to get any help. Anti iPad too

Osmo is amazing. Osmo is so good for my child she can learn and draw and when she learning she doesn’t know she actually is learning

Not super useful. This app would be great if it actually worked. It is very slow to update, and most of the time gives strange or incomplete information. On some apps, the information seems about right (although slow to come in), while stats for other apps is incomplete or incorrect. The information displayed on this app is not reliable. Also, having to view it in portrait mode all the time is annoying for use on iPad pro use with a keyboard. Poorly thought out and executed.

Can’t seem to have multiple email accounts for parents. I have to log my wife in every time. Make it possible for both parents to log in independently.

Pointless app. Not sure why osmo is even going to have a parent app if it is going to take a week to tell me what my child did today. It also keeps saying that the apps we have either aren’t supported by the parent app or my kids aren’t playing them. Well they are definitely playing them so I guess osmo doesn’t support their own apps? So odd.

Not at all a user friendly site. I have been going back and forth willing to buy another game for my son and I just don’t know what to buy. It’s not clear if it’s an app, a virtual game or if you receive a package at home. Also I have a welcome gift that it doesn’t show redeemed. It’s all very confusing.

Quadruplet Mom Approved!. What a quality way to engage with your child as well as gain the goals of their going somewhere of their mini-millennial gen and the alpha equipped they will be for those who have those sustainability even if sometimes! Thanks OSMO!

Nice app!. The hard thing about letting kids on edu apps is that you really don’t know what they’re doing on what progress they’ve made. This app definitely helps. He works on Osmo stuff before serious work. At the medium to harder levels… it pushes her just enough.

Games won’t load on iPad. We tried to play yesterday, and all we saw was the white screen that says Osmo. App wouldn’t load past that. Tears. I re-installed everything yesterday, per review I read, which was unnecessarily time-consuming since each game is its own app. The app loaded once for each game. It will not load again today. White Osmo screen. That’s it. Tears, lots of tears, people. I’ll have to reload everything again. Sign up again. Not a good experience at all.

Excellent learning source. My son (6) lives Osmo! He’s new to homeschooling, and Osmo was a perfect transition! It is so fun and keeps him interested! I recommend this to any mom wanting to their child to learn independently and have fun doing so!

Love it!. 3 kids 4,5 and 8. Their screen time has become more productive. They ask to “play.” Love that ONE system has different different categories including drawing. Different levels of learning. Quality of game pieces is amazing. I could see us using these for many years to come. Tech support answers super fast. Colors and graphics are great and interesting.

Great Info, but Still Incomplete. We have been waiting for Reading Adventure to be added to the mix for months, and that’s where we’re trying to track our kindergartners progress, but haven’t been able to in this app as it still hasn’t been added. The other apps that are documented are reported well and the data is visualized in an effective, and easy to read way, but it’s missing the core metric I wanted it for!

Needs a lot of work. This app does not seem well done at all. The info doesn’t transfer quickly and I can do very little from this app. I seem to be mostly getting sent to ads for more of your products which is super annoying. I like your product but I don’t want to be spammed with ads for things I already bought. I would like to see the ability to reset/edit individual kids progress, edit accounts (avatars and nicknames)...that sort of stuff.

It’s good stuff. Highly recommend the product - it may not work for every kid but when kids enjoy it they excel quickly. Never force them to learn if they choose the path it’s lifelong.

So happy I bought this. My daughter just turned 4 and I’m happy that she enjoys this. We got it today and she’s played for a total of one and a half hours.

Great software!. Osmo is just perfect for the diverse interests of my two 6 YOs. I originally purchased it for the coding games to give them exposure to logic and step-planning as a basis for programming, but they also love the drawing and shape games, the math & word games and the fun of the Pizza shop and Detective Agency games. We ended up purchasing more packages as they enjoyed more of the interaction. My kids are pretty advanced (2nd grade at 6 YO) so it would be nice to have some higher levels in development or perhaps some cross-over games to scratch and other coding applications. Great products, Osmo. Thanks!

Osmo Review. I absolutely LOVE this for my toddler, it is a very cleaver and great way for any child to learn, especially if they have the basics down. It is a great item and will be recommending it to other parents

Great in theory but doesn’t work :(. I just doesn’t track what my son is doing accurately, like it missed parts of what he’s done or it just doesn’t update at all. He’s been on Osmo today for almost an hour and it says he hasn’t used it in 23 hours. I love the Osmo games so far and so does my son. Hoping this app updates soon so I can give you guys 5 stars instead of 1.

Fun!. It was alot of fun playing with my three year old. My only problem is the red reflector is an old one and not updated. So it doesn’t show the pictures and letters correctly. So we couldn’t fully play the ABCs and cannot play any of the other four games until I get the updated reflector. Otherwise it’s a really cool interactive game. I can see my son having a ton of fun with this game and really learning and thriving with his ABCs

Seems like a great overview. Just started using it but seems easy to use and a good overview.

Wow!. Our child is 6 and until today, has been reluctant to attempt to engage with numbers counting and letters. As an educator with a learning behavior specialist endorsement and 10 years in the classroom I can say THIS is a game changer and life changer! Tears literal tears of joy as I heard our child say Wow! I’m smart! I did it! See Mom! Look 1 dot and another dot makes 2 dots! I get it now! Imagine that, 3 years of frustration and self doubt transformed. It’s open ended, not overwhelming with extra sensory overload and somehow able to engage even the most reluctant of learners. Our son has an average of three minutes attention span, he spent 47 minutes actively engaged and proactively solving puzzles, using his own methods of problem solving and was able to achieve self confidence in his abilities! Imagine what this can do for neurotypical thinkers as well! This is by far and away the most amazing learning experience I’ve ever seen! THANK YOU OSMO!!!!!!

Kids love it. Not phonetically correct. I have recently received my Osmo. My kids love playing it. As a former elementary teacher I have a concern. The alphabet game doesn’t not pronounce the sounds of the letters correctly. I have noticed it in two of the sounds. For the letter c- the sound that Mo says is “cu”. This is not phonetically correct. Also for the letter a- Mo says the sound “uh”. This is confusing for my kids and I have to make sure that I say the sounds correctly for them. This is a major issue in teaching small children phonics. This needs to be fixed. I love this concept of incorporating technology and learning but it must be done phonetically correct. Hope this helps and gets fixed.

HOW DO I REDEEM MY BOOKS!!!. Come on, why can’t I just scan this in on the app or on my Fire or at least have a prompt on the pg your “Quick start guide” pointed me too. This is SO difficult. 5000 steps to redeem & you do it totally differently depending on which Osmo thing it is. My wife & I are SO frustrated. I spent 3 hours this past weekend on just 2 of them.

Love it. I love that i can keep track of everything he plays and how long.

Education, and fascinating. This game is really something special. Your kiddo will be absorbed by the magical journey of Osmo. Highly recommend this for those parents who allow screen time just wish it was educational and stimulating!

Great App 4 Parent. I think it is a great app to see your child’s progress and to plan the future activities. Though, I really wish there was a print/email report option to get a record of what has been completed to use the report outside of the app.

Terrible App. Got the Little Genius starter kit for a 4 yo boy’s birthday. He’s enjoying the app itself so far, only about 20 minutes into installing everything on his iPad. Pointless (in my opinion) to install the parent app on the same device he’s going to use to play the game, so I skipped that step. Went to install the parent app on my phone (the one for which I’m writing this review). Used my own information to “login” but there’s no way to link my account with my son’s to keep track of his activity. Used his email account for his iPad, used my information to install the app on my phone to have a more timely ability to monitor and support, and learned the hard way there is no ability to directly link our accounts. No thanks.

Challenging content for preteens. We’ve had the games for about a week. My kids, 9 and 12, love the Osmo games. We have the Pizza and travel game. My 12 year old enjoys playing with her brother but it would be nice if there were more challenging content for middle schoolers. There’s such a good opportunity to meet the learning needs of older kids.

SHADY COMPANY!!! POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES. We received a free trial set. My son enjoyed one of the games, but overall he was not impressed. Basically it uses a mirror to see what is on the table. Yes, it had tangible objects to move on the table surface, but overall it’s not that impressive. As an educator, I believe there are many more apps that are education with far less cost. In addition, the iPad can not have any protective cover on it to work with the app...a nerve racking thought for any parent. In order to try the trial you have to give your credit card information. There is NO where to cancel the trial in their app or website. The company is supposed to send an email to cancel prior to charging, they did NOT!!! BEWARE IF YOU DO THE TRIAL, AS I GOT CHARGED!!! You must email customer service to cancel. Who knows how long until I get a refund!!! 😡

Osmo parent is childish. This app while proficient at describing basics of the child’s process, is basically a waste. If the company truly wanted to make it adaptable to parents. They would include support so the parent could discuss issues, critique and recommendations. There is nothing through this app or any of the games for requesting this type of help. Have all of the games and apps for the Osmo World. Spending considerable amounts, hoping to encourage growth in learning of our grandchildren. One of the main complaints on every platform is the lack of concise information on how to play and use the individual apps. What’s wrong with a doc section with details of play. Most assume it’s intuitive. If an adult can’t understand the care and use of these apps and learning methods how can you expect child of five to do it. On one of the most recent $4.99... Numbers Toybox; the apps pace is slow, with again no support for how. The app crashed in as much that it would stall and at times repeat the same segment of the game before moving on. (E.g) recipe game... how would know to leave tile on board until the timer ended.., or to remove the tile after so it would not re-add it.

My Child Be Like. This game is set epic. My two children can both play the game on the same console. You buy one console and as long as your child has an tablet just download the app and many children can play. Even 2 different apps on the tablet. That’s it. A faithful parent

Useless. All I’m getting from the app are instructions on using the games we already have and play. The data DOES NOT update to reflect play time and what is there is incorrect. A game my daughter has yet to play is showing playtime while others that she has spent a while on show nothing. Also, when I click on games like “Masterpiece” I get a message saying “this product isn’t available yet in the United States”!?!?!

Game changer (pun intended). As a developer it’s fun for me to watch my 4YO work through the problems in Awbie. Today he ran up to me excited that he was stuck on something. By the time I sat down to help him he’d already had figured it out on his own. This is exactly how it feels to figure things out as a programmer. Amazing!

We LOVE Osmo!. My 5 year old daughter really wanted Osmo for Christmas and I was hesitant because it’s expensive and requires an iPad. But I’m so glad we got it. She plays a little bit every day and is already leveling up in math and spelling. Our 3yr old watches her and plays the monster drawing game. She’s a bit young for it, but wants to play too. They love it and I love seeing them giggle and learn. If you are considering expansion packs - we love monster and pizza! Also, Osmo is really beautifully designed. Starting with unboxing and the set up - it’s all easy and beautiful. Then with the game itself, every detail is considered - from the marker case, to the storage containers for the tiles, to the app interface and styling. If you can’t tell we LOVE Osmo. :)

I haven’t used yet. It looks pretty cool, but not quite sure until we use it :-)

Words, vocabulary. I love the app, my niece is very lazy and doesn’t like to study. But I can check her through the parents osmo app.

Add parental controls to the app!!. I get super frustrated trying to change settings on games. (For ex enabling search function on the masterpiece app) The app doesn’t allow that and it tells you to go online. The website you find is usually when you search online is play Osmo which is NOT what you need either. You need to go to the myosmo and the only way I can find that is searching forever on the FAQ section every time until I find the link and it’s a huge pain. Just add the games/controls to the app so we can decide to enable settings on the games directly on there. PLEASE!! Or at least a quick and easy link to your myosmo profile on the app somewhere.

Really helpful but some odd design decisions. The app is really helpful in helping understand what your kids have been doing. However there are some odd design decisions. When you explore some of the info about your kid’s process in the game the links take you to the store. Since you own the game that seems really odd. Plus, my kids’ usage of the new dragon game isn’t showing up.

Account hacked within a month of purchase. Not very happy our account has already been hacked and I haven’t even had the game for a month. We’ve already purchased $200 in parts and accessories. Started a 3 day free trial of math bees and bought letters but now it’s saying we have to pay full price after just 2 days. I went onto my parent dash board this morning and it’s saying my son has played 3 games this morning but he hasn’t because we just woke up. Also, I purchased a drawing kit on the website and it says I have the $10 account credit for the purchase but nothing in my purchase history. Sounds like someone is already trying to take over our account and I will not have my sons identity compromised. No one to actually talk to for live support. Only automated chat that isn’t even live. Poor value for the money we spent. Hopefully I can return everything ans it’s not too late.

So disappointed. I recently purchase the Osmo starter kit for my daughter for Christmas, which I might end up returning cause I am not happy with the sampler that we received from seeing Santa at the mall. The instructions in the box are off, it had me downloading the app on my phone and then made me do the same thing again on my child’s iPad. I could not load in once I set everything up. Once I got login in the iPad there were no games available. I’m hoping that the actual Osmo kit is going to be easier to set up.

Excited that we found it!. My autistic son has had the hardest time learning over zoom this year! The apps are amazing! Being able to see his progress with the parent app is a huge bonus! Thank you Osmo !

Very fun!. It was super challenging to get started. Even my tech husband struggled to get everything installed, navigating the parental controls on our kids’ tablets. However, once we got it all worked out, oh my goodness! These games are incredible and so very educational. Both kids love how interactive these games are and are always playing (learning) with a giant smile plastered across their faces. As long as your prepared to test your patience and tech savviness, these are well worth it! Great addition to our homeschool learning.

Osmo parent app needs work.. Osmo is a good system - generally bug free. However, Osmo Parent is very buggy. Both the app and my phone are up to date; however the Osmo parent app is stuck in a loading loop and it hasn’t showed me any updates. My son worked on something earlier in the week and it hasn’t been updated in the portal (website access).

No scan QR code. Poor design

They don’t even know they’re learning. This game is one of those rarities that kids just love it and they don’t even know they’re learning things. It seems a little pricey at first but once you realise each kit actually support 2-3 different games it’s pretty good value and even more learning!!! Keep the good stuff coming Osmo!

File sharing. Need to improve its file sharing to more then just a email and the the jpeg should be shared as video and a picture

Great stuff. Love this - wish I had understood it better at the start two years ago, but with two kids now my second is better at it. Maybe have a rating for special Education kids as well, I mistakingly bought this for my older boy who has the intellect but not the finger skills to move the pieces. It’s great for my four year old who doesn’t have the same challenges. Thanks 😍

Amazing. Osmo has helped my son in so many ways. Love it!

Useful. Handy to drill down into the manual for Homeschool reporting.

Fun to use. I love how I can see what she’s been up to in the games without peering over her shoulder all the time. Additionally when they use masterpiece it makes a video of them creating so those are fun to watch.

Hello back-end!!. The app isn’t opening. Iphone 11 pro

We love it!!. My child has been playing with OSMO since he was 2! We are 5 now and making progress to beat the band. JK we are finding is a slow pace for him so this keep him interested.

Not working. Maybe some can help me get it working would be nice iPad Pro 11

No point. Bought the Little genius Osmo and compatible Fire tablet, but the games for this are all unavailable. Doesn’t matter what ipad, tablets I try and get the games from they are unavailable. Waste of money if the games don’t exist.

Long way journey. I was very excited about Osmo and all the electronic toys for the development of my child but it collects all the data. What the child did, when he/she did it, how much times it takes, etc... What is the data going to be used for? They explained me why data is being collected and that I can delete it permanently whenever I want. Now I’m relieved. Thanks. It provides too much possibilities for my child’s brain development and children are learning while enjoying. 👍🏻

Défi pour installer en français. Défi pour installer en français

Doesn’t work. We have almost all the games but the app only shows that we own one. Lol. It would be nice if it synced across all iPads since I used the same parent app for all of them…wanted to buy more advanced levels but I can't rely on this to tell me what I don't have. Becoz it says I own no games, it doesn't track game progress in the dashboard for either kid….lol. Basically it's just an info app with all the game manuals…useless.

Money grab. Bought games with pieces yet can’t use the pieces for other games that need the same pieces. They want you to purchase new stuff for every download

Not recognizing apps. Parent app doesn’t recognize when my kids are playing math wizard apps

Great if it wasn’t always trying to sell you more. It’s pretty amazing! Not flawless but pretty amazing! The only thing is that they always have pop ups that prompt my three year old to buy more things. Not impressed at all by this

Osmo. Great learning opportunity, fun and interactive!

Math wizard. My son loves both these games. Looking forward to purchasing the multiplication & division games once available. Unfortunately I am having difficulty linking it with the parent app.

Great Educational tool. Our three boys love using Osmo, they don’t even realize how much they’re learning without any fussing.

Wow!!!!!!!!!. Absolutely amazing!!!!!!!

Wa worse than any osmo game app. 1- tap on notification to turn on the app, then app crashes. This happens every time. 2-timeline marks wrong time. My son’s work today is marked 15 hours ago. You guys can’t even get the time right?

When will Reading Adventure be added?. We’ve owned and been using Osmo reading adventure for 8 months there’s still no data in Osmo Parent around usage and progress.

Mama Orapa. Let’s me see what games he can play with the pieces we already bought

Sample gone south. I was looking forward to trying out the “free sample” app with my son. I tried to set it up and it will not let you even try the trial without entering credit Info. What a joke! You lost a potential customer.

He loves this!!!. My 8-year-old loves this and so do I!

Don’t waste your money. Every single thing I had to download a new app and the directions for the games sucked.

Crashes. App will not stay open for even a minute before it automatically closes out.

Very good. Just disappointed that Fire Tablet games in App Store are very limited. I am shown games on my parent app that I cannot even download on my child’s tablet.

Expensive. Too expensive after spending so much on hardware.

Love it. It help me keep up with my child Progress and how much time he spends on every task

Osmo Parent. My Grand daughter did the reading level assessment and it gave me zero results and no direction on where to go next. I thought the Osmo Parent would be a great place for this info.

Really fantastic. It’s the best, everyone agrees. Other apps? Garbage, all garbage. This is the best, amazing. There’s nothing else like it.

Love love love it!. Makes iPad time fun and safe! I love all the new learning concepts. Affordable with the 20$off credits! Yay!!!!

Black Friday free sampler. Got the free sampler to check it out but requires a credit card number to even try it. Won’t let you past the screen without it. Not giving this company my money based on this experience. Stay away from osmo.

Creative pack. My 7 year old enjoys it very much

Osmo little genius. I absolutely love this

Fun app. It is interesting and fun while learning.

Does not track all games. Customer service does not help. Only one game will track stats. The parents app won’t register new games.

Basic. Like how they track the kids play time, but it’s a very basic app. You can’t do much on it beside view the progress; can’t edit / delete names, change language etc

Poor product. Not easy to navigate. No good instructions. Did not come with all parts (missing a reflector).

Doesn’t update. Seems to update just fine on the core original games but won’t give me updates on the games we’ve add on to. Bought the genius pack then added monster but I can’t get updates on the monster game.

Parent Access Limited. Trying to view my child’s creations and the parent app isn’t easy to work with. It just keeps taking me through the “learn more” areas. Would like it to be a lot easier to navigate with.

Love it. Educational toy that offers kids freedom to explore.

Wasn’t sure before buying but genuinely surprised. My 4 year old loves it.

Scan welcome gift doesn’t work in app. Try to scan the welcome gift in my sons kit to add another package we’be purchased and it crashes the app. Very disappointed! I have th beans new iPhone 15 pro max this shouldn’t be a thing. My phone is up to date.

Your the😃 best. Just let me know when you get home 🏠 thank you so much ☺️

Great app for tracking your kids coding. Great app for tracking your kids coding

Osmo. Osmo is very fun my 10 year old son loves it we have all the osmo my favorite is probably the hot wheels mindracers! Thank you osmo

Glitches or otherwise. Disaster. I went through the tutorial and DL'd the parent app and sometimes Awbie can't get to his goal dispute the hints telling us what to do, we follow them and it still doesn't work. It's frustrating for me let alone my child who has given up on it.

Doesn’t show anything. From this app, I can see that my child played, but yhsre us no report, no status—it doesn’t even tell me which games or how long.

Why tho?!. Useless with out giving a credit card number. And paying $60 a month. No option to subscribe through iTunes. Can’t play a free version. Kids just got a Christmas gift that is completely useless. What trash. What a waste.

Great app. This app is a really great tool when your kids have osmo!

Multiple Profiles. I purchased this program for 2 of my kids. The setup was pretty easy but the Osmo parent app will not let me monitor them both at the same time. Very inconvenient having to log out one profile into another.

Love it. This app has definitely helped my toddler to interact and channel her thoughts better

Bad review. I do not like this because you should be able to use any device to connect it to ozmo. I was trying to connect it to my school ipad and I don’t have access to a App Store you should be able to use it on safari or another device!

Expensive gateway app. Extremely expensive app that is just a starter. For 100$ you only get 5/50 apps. Just a sucker hole for parents who think an app will make their kids smarter.

Love so much. Love this brand so much

Not updating at all. My daughter has been playing all sorts of games and none of it has come through

Parent App. Not showing all apps that are under email account

Doesn’t work.. Got the little genius kit a week ago. Hasn’t worked since I downloaded it. At all. Not even once. For the amount of money that is spent on products you would think they would develop apps that actually work.

Would work great if it worked. Would work great if it actually work. It uploads so slow or not at all that sometime it has incorrect data of what my child has done.

Orientation limitation. The app is always in portrait even when iPad is in landscape. Makes it so much harder when you are always on Apple keyboard or simply like to use in landscape mode.

About Osmo. Osmo is A Very Good Learning Game. My Friend,s Ella And Juliet They Have It Too. And I Don,t Have Everything My Dad is Gonna Buy It.

Osmo genius. Very educational for my kids

Ok. I wish I could see more not just minutes logged.

My kid is coding!. I’m a developer and this feels amazing to teach him coding directions visually!!!!! Just perfect for my little genius!

Doesn’t sync. Accounts properly linked, kids profiles show up in the parent app. No data ever shows up. Waste of time, don’t bother installing.

Crashes. Crashes when I try to redeem welcome gift

Parent App is useless. Don’t even understand the point of it other than spammy push notifications and emails.

Great. Great way to see progress. I love the fact that the interface is very good too. Thanks 🤩

Needs update. Please update with new games that you are selling. I can’t get a real idea of how my son is doing if you don’t update when you are releasing new education games. Makes this completely irrelevant. You should be releasing an update ALONG with new games.
