Horrible app. Doesn’t open, shuts off every time I click on it.

App Crashes. As soon as I send file to App the app will not open. So basically I can’t use the app. Wish I could get my money back.

iOS 13 crippled Brusfri. Brusfri was useful until it became less interoperable with some workflows... it no longer is an available option when sharing your audio to another app. Hard to explain but have faith the developers will update because there is value in this plug when the versatile workflows are working.

Broken app. It just doesn’t work at all, it can’t even open or play any kind of video or audio file.

A nice plugin for LumaFusion. I’m glad I bought it. It’s very easy to use and it works well with LumaFusion.

Magical app. I was able to miraculously reduce tape hiss on a 20-year old cassette recording. This is the only app to do this that I could find.

Amazing abilities, but a bit glitchy. First app I’ve found that does such a good job isolating the background noise that I was trying to remove. Very powerful ability. Nice design too. Unfortunately it is quite glitchy with importing files, only plays them about half the time on the first try so you have to try another time or too and then it works. (On Ipad 4) The dials on the filters feature took a few minutes to figure out too, the dials appears to control by spinning, but are actually controlled by swiping up and down, minor issue, but a bit of a confusing design. Some updates to make it work a little smoother would be appreciated. Overall very happy with the app though, great work!

Amazing. Using it with Ferrite for VO and podcasting. Really does an amazing job.

Holy freaking crap. Entirely, surprisingly, effectively useful as advertised. I was frustrated at $15, and then I tried it. Worth every penny.

Almost Miraculous. This is an amazing app. It works best when you can sample a part of your track for several seconds, but I just finished a project where there were video clips where I could only sample dead parts of a second or less, and it still did an outstanding job of reducing noise. I did have the problem where it would not import a track until I tried twice (it would retain the old track after the first non-import). Second time it always worked. I would deduct a bit from the rating for that, but when compared with what it accomplishes, I still had to give it five stars. Wonderful app.

Great. Been 2 years since it was updated but their is a saying, if it’s not broken don’t fix it.

Essential. I've loved all of Klevgrand's iOS stuff for years now, and this is their best release yet. Its utility value is off the charts if you are working with external gear or recording in a less-than-ideal environment.

So useful for musicians who record audio on their iPad. This is a noise reduction plugin, and it works like magic. If you’re looking for a way to eliminate AC hum, noisy amp background sound, hum from cheap guitar pickups or cheap cables, low level ambient noise, whatever. This is it. It’s the one.

Not perfect, but dang good.. This apps works well on light background sounds. The kind that annoy you because it’s something you can’t help. Like white and pink noise, background chatter in a restaurant, certain kinds of mechanical noises. In some cases it nearly eliminates all of it and in others it helps cut the noise but not silent it. I tried using it on an interview at a Starbucks on a busy Blvd. We sat outside on a patio. I had used a lav mic but Brusfri could not even touch the sound of traffic and I had given the app a minute of sound sample to work with. This app is good but it’s not a miracle worker.

Only Great Experiences. Maybe the negative reviews are from people trying to process audio in standalone mode? For my workflow which involves using Brusfri as an AUv3 on all of my vocals, recorded in GarageBand & Cubasis using the built in mic, Brusfri has been an invaluable resource. It has run perfectly on the XS Max, 11 Pro Max, and will probably run as well on the 12 Pro Max once I start recording again. I can't imagine working without this app. I usually set my noise floor *before* recording so that it sounds most natural [as it's less prone to quiet my breathing]. But it usually works just well when applied after recording. You'll want to add at least a little reverb in either case & then it's lovely. I really pray that Klevgrand brings more apps to iPhone because they offer amazing tools. There's no other noise gate as intuitive or simple to use.

It just doesn't work well. I hope it takes a new and improved step forward in all respects. The app needs to be updated and improvement and add a custom voice enhancement button to better sound more masculine and appropriate. And Increase the volume without increasing the distortions, It's one of the biggest annoying problems I've encountered using it and I hope you fix it. And denose improved to the best site like adobe's new site, it works like crazy, you feel the ultimate improvement in sound, like you bought a mic for $300. I hope that a new button will be added, this new technology and technology will be added to the application and the old technology will also be in place. A pleasure to use, which means you have complete freedom to choose any of them together 1 - Old Denoise 2 - New Denoise 3 - Audio Boost button The adobe site: Adobe enhance Edit: Now, after testing the app, I'm finding a glitch in converting audio to audio without distortion. The sound does not match the original, wav sound and most types of sound, the sound cuts and plays and the sound cuts and plays until the end distance. I hope this problem will be resolved.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. This app is superb, does exactly what it is supposed to simply and well and with enough controls to fine tune to what you need. User interface is perfect

Crashes all the time, removes the noise reduction. This app crashes SO much. I have to remove notice, then render, THEN edit my video, then render AGAIN. ITS SO BAD and time consuming. I paid for this and it's been 6 months of constant crashes. Iphone 12 pro max and now 14 pro max.

It works really great then doesn’t. Sometimes it will work really good or sound great in app but once I bring it in something else it’s static again. Now new update it won’t load files I’ve saved from my camera files.

What?. I paid fifteen dollars for this app and every time I open it or try to import a file it just closes. Tell me what I’m doing wrong

It changed for the worst. This app has changed for the worst. It’s unusable now on iPhone 1. It no longer lets you get videos from your photos app 2. You have to save your video to files just to be able to import it onto the Brusfri app 3. It doesn’t load the full length of the audio! This app is just a toy now. Unusable. Waste of money Update: I think I know what happened and I need it fixed ASAP. I think somehow the app is not recognizing that I already purchased the app long ago, and now it’s reverted to demo mode. So I guess I need a code or something to enter to be able to fix the problem? If that’s not the case, and this is how the update truly is, then it’s not worth keeping on my phone

Good.test more IAA compatibility. Great app.if you import a file. Bought it hoping it would work as an IAA without having to use Audiobus Doesn’t work with Harmonicdog Multitrack DAW, which is my go-to. Works in AUM, Audiobus.. IAA is so hit and miss these days, so only way to see if it will work with your “go-to” app is to buy it first..I’ll put this down on the list of the other 10 effects apps I have bought that don’t work.. looking forward to next update

How does this have good reviews ?. So disappointed in this app. First of all 90 % of the time when importing a file, it shows up but will not play, therefore no way to get an audio sample. Rare times I do get it to play randomly, the noise removal is minimal at best. Like... maybe takes out a TINY barely noticeable bit of white noise but literally traffic, hums, anything else is still loud as hell. I just bought it last night and would like a refund! I could understand if the app was free but $15?! I’ve never written a review good or bad on anything before but this is just ridiculous. Refund me please! Too many bugs and doesn’t even work properly!

Crashes all the time. So it does what it says it'll do, but the second you'd try to save the clip it export it, it freezes. Complete waste of money.

Why did you remove extract from video option!!. I was a fan of this app until you just recently removed extract from video option, super annoying, and I paid for this, now I need a new app!! Very disappointed!!!

So Easy to use. I just down loaded it after watching Pete John on you tube. Used in a DAW on any track or stem in a space of background noise that needs to be removed. If your recording in an area with fan noise computer noise hum from your mic or guitar or even breathing noise when talking or singing it will remove it or greatly reduce unwanted background noise. This filter takes out the unwanted noise over the entire track. I did a test on a noisy vocal track that had breathing noise. What I did was re-recorded breathing noise on that track in an area unaffected. It cleaned up the entire vocal track. 15 bucks well spent.

You record live instruments / music - must have. Wow. No brainer. If you are reading this review you need this. I use it on recordings from my noisy tube amp. Or that time I recorded the band with one mic.

Rarely works. Im so frustrated with this app not working 80% of the time. It imports my file but does not play it. I tried everything and still not working. Im seriously regretting spending 15$ on an app that is rarely gonna work

Saved My Podcast Recording. I have tried so many things to clean up background noise when recording with a remote guest, and this is the only thing that has ever really worked. I did not have any problem with glitching. I edit audio recordings through GarageBand on my Mac, so I had to do some back-and-forth between my computer and my phone, but that wasn’t a big deal at all especially when you have an iCloud Drive (just export the vocals as a wag or mp3 to open in the app). One thing I will say that made a difference is running the vocals through your regular filters before exporting it and running it through this app; putting just a noise gate on the recording both before and after you run it through this app makes a really big difference. I hope it works just as well for you. Good luck!

Didn't want to write this. At the time of writing this, there are 20 reviews for this app, including mine, and 5 of them are 1 star reviews. That's 25% for those of us who are counting. This seems like a great app if you're lucky enough to have a device that it works properly on. Doesn't work on mine though, like at all. Doesn't work in Audiobus as a plugin, doesn't work in standalone mode when I import sounds. Pretty much the same complaint as the other 4 guys. So if you're considering buying this app, good luck. There's at least a 25% chance that you're about to waste $15.

App works... kinda. So... it does a great job of fixing background noise/ noise reduction. However, it annoying as hades to have to fully close the app and then reopen, sometimes twice, to do a new audio fix. It simply freezes when you go to save the video/audio that’s repaired. Poor job dev team. I’m running iPhone11 pro. This should not be an issue.

I don’t know what happened.... All of a sudden, none of my audio is saving or rendering. No matter the length, or the import location. It just flashes the rendering screen and goes back to the main screen without doing anything....assistance please?

Disappointed!. I am writing this review because it needs one for how frustrating it is to use this app. I have spent money on hoping it will help me clean up my audio for important uses with my school. The reason this app makes me so angry is I spent money trusting this will help and it did not, every time I try to import an audio from a video the app crashes. I try over an over to import and it never fails to crash. This is really frustrating when you're trying to do work. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS APP, IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY ON GETTING AN APP THAT IS NOT RELIABLE!

Incredible. I think most noise reduction algorithms make audio sound like a bad over compressed mp3 but this sounds terrific. I'm really floored. Ambient noise gone and I can still hear quality and high tones. Bravo

Not working since update..... Not working since update....

Works for me!. I got a little spooked by the bad reviews and the $15 price tag, but I decided to try it out anyway. I’m using it as an AUv3 FX plugin in Cubasis 3 and it works like a charm. One good tricK if it’s possible, is to record a few seconds of “silence” at the beginning of your audio to establish the background noise profile that the “Learn” function will use. Overall I couldn’t be more pleased with the performance and ease of use of this plugin. I haven’t tried the standalone app.

Far Better than Expected. I’m pretty chuffed that this quality of noise reduction is available on iOS. The app works perfectly on my m1 iPad Pro.

Works Great! March 1st, 2022 Review. I did my research online for a product to help me with sound editing, and this one took the cake on reviews by other creators. I use LumaFusion on on the iPad and was going to add this as a plug-in. I started using it and it works very well. Brusfri is very simple to use and the audio quality is great after you filter out the background noise. Upon further inspection while playing with the other settings, it’s very helpful with bringing out audio that you actually want to hear. It has made my life much easier. I am very happy with the product and would recommend it.

So bad. I bought for like 5 minutes and deleted because that stupid filter wont turn and if it does it goes the other direction. This app is garbage don’t buy

Not worth the money. Bought this at half price and it was still a bit too much. Due to a certain video editing app no-longer supporting AUv3 I have to use this one as a stand-alone and it is difficult. Even on an iPhone 11 Pro this app freezes when exporting. There seems to be no way of trimming a clip for export. When it does reduce noise it’s magical, but getting files in and out is a real hassle, and why is the cancel button on the opposite side to every other iOS app? Tempted to get a refund in honesty. Sometimes “simple” means unfinished.

Very handy noise filter. Such a useful app, and very effective to reduce unwanted background noise. It can also be used active/live scenarios, which is fantastic. I really hope a hardware/physical version is made available.

Best app for noise reduction in 2020. Ok so this app is actually really good, and for it not been updated for 2 years i wanted to give this a positive one for those that actually want to get this because people are saying its bad for some reason giving it bad reviews. I bet they didn't properly know about the app itself and just straight up giving negative when this is actually really good. Pls read this comment if you want this app because this is underratedly the best app. Tho the price is a bit high for it. But it dors the job perfectly in both video audio and audio so this is literally the best app in the app store so pls give a positive review dont mind the bad reviewers whk have no knowledge of it.

Amazing app to get rid of background noise!. Guys this app is amazing to remove background noise from your tracks!! I can’t believe how good this app was until I purchased it and tried it in Garageband on my iphone. I wish the app developers would come up with a version that is compatible with Mac OS as well. I just bought a Macbook Pro 16 inch and the first thing I did was to search for this app on the app store and I was disappointed when this app didn’t come up in my search results. It would be awesome to have this plugin on Macbook pro as well for Garageband!

Great noise reduction. Got this to clean white background noise. Did it well. saves time and is instantaneous. Yeah it's AU only as plug but works well in Auria pro and AUM Please add AB2 support Also give options for live sound use Worth it for audio recording editing or mixing or even video recordings. Will try to see if wind filtered next. Please add graphical view option of showing level and curve effect pre and post application for different hz

Best app ever!!!!. I don’t really write reviews but I had to! This app has saved my song covers. I have a good microphone but I get so much stactic and I couldn’t figured out how to use noise gate properly on garageband. It would always ruin my recording and didn’t sound good. Until I watched a video on YouTube about Brusfri I was a little nervous to buy this happen. But I’m glad I did so easy and simple and I get buzz free recordings so happy! I recommend this app to anyone who does video recordings with audio!!

Amazing iOS application. It’s been a while now for me and Brusfri. One of the only things I couldn’t do from my iPad was pull the background hiss out of some audio recordings. Not only is this so much easier to use than any of the desktop tools I tried, it also does a better job than most of them. Great purchase.

Great for LumaFusion filmmakers.. A terrific app for using with LumaFusion to clean up the sometimes unwanted ambient noise in video audio files. Will also help to de-noise independent tracts brought in when doing double system sound recording when filming. Also from my experience their support staff is excellent and VERY proactive. An excellent value for those who want cleaner audio and voice tracks when using Luma Fusion.
