Beautiful app. Love this app. Beautiful UI. Just the right amount of features. Keeping it simple.

Ruined over the years. Added in music you can’t toggle off, which is a pretty wild decision.

Great spatial aspect to the sounds. The 3D sounds are really good. I often find myself surprised that's it's raining, only to realize that it's not it's still just Sonus Island playing.

Thinking twice. I updated my phone and now SI does not launch... rebooted, removed and reinstalled.... crickets. Please fix! I was considering purchasing, this is why I wait, after reading reviews. Personally I enjoy it but thinking twice. Please fix for UNLUCKY iOS 13

Nice Sounds, Difficult Design. The sounds are quite lively, though you do need to purchase the full set to make it worth it. That I don’t mind, but the landscape-only mode is a nuisance and makes the app difficult to use. Just make a portrait mode and it’s a 5-Star app.

Guided mediations can’t hear. I can’t hear the voice over the background because the background is so loud. There’s a sliding bar to increase the voice but it is still drowned out by the loud background

Music. Please take away the music in the background!

Sounds are too repetitive. The sounds do not sound authentic because they are too repetitive, and thus not soothing. I wanted to ask for my money back, but Apple did not have a refund option for me being dissatisfied. Very disappointed.

Didn’t pay for music…. I purchased this app because it didn’t have music or spa sounds. Now it does, flop. Guess I’ll have to listen to ocean waves on YouTube or something.

Pretty misleading. Don’t be mislead by the free price tag. As soon as you open the app, you realize that the actual content costs $4. Very misleading

Unfortunately meager. As had been mentioned previously, there’s simply not enough content to encourage purchasing it. Too bad... seems like a good idea.

Added Music???. Please at least add an option to have no music. Honestly the seamless sound affects was what set this app apart. Who even asked for this generic spa music lol.

Too little content. For $3.99 I’d expect to see way more content! At least adding more images or something. Smh.

Promising but Disappointing. Does not work! Apple should try these apps out, before they make one an “app of the day” Looks wonderful, but nothing works!

Please give an option for music. I was using this several times a day to nap with my baby and had to switch to a playlist on Spotify to get rid of the music. I don’t want the music, just the rush of the wind and waves, crickets and birdsong. I’d give this a 5 again if they took off the music or gave me a toggle, but I have completely stopped using it since. Not even ONE location on the island is without music.

No option to turn off music. Like other reviewers, I loved this app for the beautiful artwork and relaxing nature sounds. This is all completely ruined now and the app is basically rendered useless due to distracting New Age music that was added in some update, which YOU CANNOT TURN OFF. Please get rid of the music or at least have an option that allows you to have nature sounds only with no music. Why on earth would you design an app as beautiful as this, then ruin it with music you can’t turn off, I just don’t get it??

Love the island! 🌴. A lovely app. Beautiful art and such peaceful nature sounds. Glad I unlocked all the scenes. I don’t use the guided meditations, but I’ll turn the voice down and the nature sounds up so I can enjoy those, too. Keep up the great work!

Was perfect - ruined with background music. “Best of 2017” was a rating of what the app app used to be before they added music. I used this app everyday, and one of the reasons I liked it was because of the ambient beach sounds with no music. Now with the recent update, they’ve added in music to the background that you can’t toggle off. I would’ve never purchased the app in its current state - why did you think this was a good idea??

Not What I Was Expecting. I was excited to find this app but when I went in the app, it seems that there's only one scene of the island that's free.

YOU RUINED THE APP. This was my favorite app at one point for the simple nature sounds but it has since Been RUINED with the addition of music. PLEASE STOP THIS!!! PLEASE GIVE US THE OPTION TO TURN THAT CHEAP MUSIC OFF AND LISTEN TO THE SOUNDS OF NATURE ALONE. THIS APP IS NOT AT ALL WHAT IT ONCE WAS I WANT A REFUND

Has a lot of potential. I listen to this app every night before I sleep to get me slumped for bed, but there’s some sounds that the waves are a little too loud, and a few birds are a little too loud, I feel like it could be updated a little bit. Overall 5 tho cause there’s no repetitiveness to any sounds. I also bought the whole thing, I feel like for the quality it was overall worth it for how much I use it and I never get tired of it

Decieving. App is deceiving. Charges $.99 to download but if you want to explore the app and you want what they are advertising in their description, you have to pay $3.99 Unfortunately, I downloaded the app, now I'm trying to figure out how to get it off my phone. Too bad they didn't do with they said they did.....

Please Remove. I loved the option where I just heard pure nature sounds especially the Lunar Beach was amazing. The addition of the background music ruins this experience and makes it artificial. Please remove this sound or at least make the option to mute it. For now I will give the rating 2 stars where before it was 5 for me without the background music.

There’s not much to do. There’s not much to do with the free version and you can’t really get a feel for the app with only 1 scene to listen and look at, don’t get me wrong it’s a great app with good visuals and audio, you just can’t really “try” the app with this little amount to work with.

Excellent mindfulness app. Really enjoying using this app nearly everyday. Lunar Beach has definitely been helping me get to sleep. Only suggestion would be that on start up it defaults to the main island map with no sound playing. As much as I love the birds chirping, I don’t want it to blast out every time I start the app (especially if I left the volume too loud from another app). Include that option and I’d give it five stars.

Don't get this app. You have to pay for all the locations except one, the audio of the one free location is poor and the voice that speaks to you is no better than listening to Siri give you instructions. ..WASTE OF TIME APP..

Realistic sounds, beautiful artwork.. Is the setting sun location supposed to be a volcanic mountain (not too sure the sound)? The whales are a unique addition, anyone who's into marine mammals may like it. Did have it crash once while changing between locations on the island.

The meditations aren't guided. The sounds are great, the animation is pretty, but you can't advertise this as a guided meditation app. Regardless of whether you choose a guided meditation for 3 min, 10 min, or more, it's the same "guide" process. 3 min of someone guiding you through a visualization of the location, ending with the conclusion to open your eyes and come out of it. You are then left to your own devices listening to the sounds for your chosen time, before it abruptly ends and roughly jolts you back. I paid the in app fee to have access to the guided meditations, and that is what I got for my "money's worth". If you are looking for a real guided meditation app, don't sink your money into this app.

allow music off. Maybe Im mistaken, but I recall there didn’t always use to be music in the background. I like the nature sounds but the music I really hate. Please allow the option to turn off the music!

Great app (I take it back). I just wrote a review about how the app was trying to make me pay again. Turns out I’m just useless with technology. Great app I love everything about it.

Used to be 5 stars. Wish there was a way to toggle off the music. I just want to hear the water, not some spa music. I find it hard to enjoy with the music.

Enjoyable sounds.... Any chance you could give a preview of the other island location sounds? I don’t want a guided meditation- I usually find the voices irritating rather than soothing. I just want the beautiful sound of nature to drown out the city. If it’s too similar to the free ones or full of people speaking I don’t want to spend the money. Thanks.

Adding music ruined the nature sounds.. Please remove the added music. There are a million spa music apps out there. This app was five stars for me until today. Remove or allow a toggle off? Do something please. My favourite app.

Music should be optional. Please make an option to switch the music off - liked this app better when it was just the nature sounds.

Amazing!!!. For the past few months I have been having trouble with going to sleep. I had tried so many other meditation and relaxation apps, but they simply did not work. When I discover this app I thought it would be like all of the others, but I was wrong. The music on this app is actually relaxing, it gets me to sleep within the 30 mins timer that I set. If you are hesitant to pay for it, try the free track first. After you try it, you won’t hesitate to buy it.

love this app.. i listen to sonus island every night to fall asleep. i used to suffer with insomnia, this app puts me to sleep within 45 minutes, no matter if i’m wide awake or cannot keep my eyes open, i fall asleep. i recommend this to app to all of my friends and family. 10/10, do recommend.

I do not like the music. I love the nature sounds, very relaxing. The music is distracting, and it irritates me. I can’t relax because I’m focus on the music. I have no idea why you added music.

Amazing!!. I use this app when I can’t fall asleep or when I need to relax and it’s wonderful!! It’s crazy how fast I fall asleep or how fast I can calm down. Please make more sounds and islands for this app!!

Wouldn’t get it. The human voice is drowned by the island sounds so it’s not useful at all.
