The New King James Version Bible. Typically, I don’t like updated versions of the King James Bible because they change the meaning of what God was trying to convey with their interpretations. But the New King James doesn’t fall victim to that. The main reason I downloaded it onto my phone is because Pastor Jack Hibbs from Calvary Chapel Chino Hills preaches from it and it’s just easier to follow along with his sermons if I have the same Bible that he uses. My favorite Bible app. I’ve tried several other Bible apps and wasted a lot of time trying to navigate through them and many did not have an audio option. This app is simple to navigate and has a great audio option which I use a lot, it lets me pick a book in the old or New Testament and hit the start button and listen until I decide to turn it off. Again it is simple to use with efficient navigation and an audio option and I never feel like I’m wasting my time using it. I feel like I accomplish a lot in the WORD each day using this app.

Keep the KJV. We need more conservative Bible lessons instilled and instituted into the lives of young people both Nationally and Abroad - we absolutely must encourage the Conservative Christian Way and abandon the “universalism” or “all-accepting” movements because THE LORD ALMIGHTY GOD has said it over and over in The Bible that HE IS GOD AND HIM ONLY, and furthermore HE DOES NOT EVER CHANGE! We need to teach this to young people and the best way is through the Conservative Christian Bible, King James Version, in LORD ALMIGHTY SAVIOR CHRIST JESUS’S NAME, Amen 🙏✝️

Best Bible App. This Bible app is so very well informed, so well arranged, the planned daily reading shows information for deeper understanding. The app keeps up with where you have read, highlights in different colors! I have been using this particular App, on and off for years! Very Awesome! Thanks!!

Unsatisfied with some functions. Such as, while listening to bible while going to sleep it only read that chapter only. The speaking feature does not clear off the screen which means I cannot follow along with the scriptures while listening. I just downloaded a few days ago. Still trying to learn of the features. Before downloading the app I liked what I read about the app was why I chose it. I hope to keep the app.

Perfect bible. I’m new to read in the Bible, and the more I read the more I want to read. The more I learn the more I want to learn. I’ve never been into reading books because they have never gave my full attention, The words and phrases still are hard for me to understand but I pray that as I read more and learn more that like a puzzle all this will come together by the grace of God.

Love & appreciate the NKJV. If one really cares about the accuracy & readability of Scripture, this is it. It is drawn from all of the currently available manuscripts, and the method of determining the most accurate English words is consistent and not subjective, as opposed to what is called “eclectic” method used for the NIV, and even the NASB. True, it may not be perfect, but it is the closest to the manuscripts as I can find, as well as in the current language we use. My second choice is NASB. True, it may not be as “poetic” as KJV, but we should remember the manuscripts were not written using “elizabethan” English as well, and used less than 15 manuscripts as reference.

Index. I do not like the way to get to the Index to change to another book in the Bible. Why not while in a book, be able to press on that book heading and go to another book. Having to start from beginning of the Bible every time I want to search a scripture annoying and time consuming. Others have the same and it’s doesn’t make me agrivated.

Not NKJV. I thought I was getting the NKJV of the Bible and had started verbally transferring my notes from another app. (I upgraded devices and needed a new app because, sadly the app I had used for years is no longer available). I didn’t realize until after I began the long endeavor to moving my notes from another app to this one that this is not what I wanted. I am so VERY DISAPPOINTED. Please correctly title this version of the Bible to the KVJ and NOT the NKJV. This Bible did seem to have everything else I want except it is the wrong version. It would be great if you could change to different versions of the Bible in this app (which is what I could do in the previous app).

New KJV Bible App. This app has assisted me with carrying the Word wherever I go. I recently have started attending Bible Study and found it to be so interesting! Often now, I turn to this app to guide me as it is always with me to share the Word of our Lord and God along with other authors of the chapters. Learning from the Old Testament is revealing much more of God’s Word as I was raised mainly on the Gospels of the New Testament. So happy I found YOU!

Easy to use. Love it, quick reference with table of contents to compare scripture when listening to sermons on YT, or compare scripture. Highlight and bookmark, daily devotion and so on… good app. Might be nice if it had translation options.

Great App!. This is a great app if you’re just starting to study and learn about The Creator, King Jesus and all His works. He led me here, and I am blessed to be able to ignite the spark of The Holy Spirit inside me! I am joyful and grateful that this is available to ALL! May you be abundantly blessed in your journey to seek and know our Father and His Truth. 🙏🏼💓 The daily devotionals, daily verses, and all the other tools in this app are very helpful. I like they layout of the app. It’s very user friendly. I’ve highlighted a lot of passages and the app keeps your highlighted passages neatly in notebook for you. Definitely a plus. I really enjoy this app because it’s easy to manage, I can maneuver through the books quickly and I can use video to listen to the Word as well!

Best to read. Thank you for this bible I like the print. It’s big enough for me to read at night. I hate the giant letters in the other ones I’ve found on line. I really like the red number on the verses. Makes it easy to see and nit loose your place. Easy to get around in. All in all I like this app the best

New KJV Bible. I have been using this Bible for a couple of weeks, it is easy to find scriptures when you only know part of it. I can highlight and bookmark my favorites. If, there was a version without ads I would upgrade.

Audio?. Love it, but does not display audio option when reading. It lets you select the voice over, but when it comes to actually playing the audio, it doesn’t offer it. No Help Section either.

It’s A King James Bible. I like it but it’s a New King James translation. It has thees and thous in the Bible . If you look at Jeremiah chapter 1 you will find the words that are in there. I’m still going to keep it in my phone. But I wish it would be a study Bible you know would be totally New King James. I have the king James study Bible myself and I like it. But I just like to use the new king James because I find it easier if I don’t really want to do a study and I just want to read.

Awesome - KJV Accurate. I love this Bible and how accurate it is to the KJV Bible. Its word search option really helps me with my studies and questions. The dark mode option also helps when I’m trying to read at night without having a beacon of light disturb my roommates. Ten out of ten would suggest to others.

There is Hope in the LORD. I Love the content the verbal reading when I’m busy I can still hear the message of each chapter receive a fulfillment in the meaning of the message being spoken THE WORD of GOD is ALIVE it tells US Everything about JESUS CHRIST and what HE wants US to LOVE BELIEVE and Have FAITH knowing JESUS can work it out

HIS WORD. I am so happy to always have the Bible conviently with me ready to be read at anytime on my iPhone. There is never a time to be bored or look for something to do. Like it. Straight forward easy note and highlight features. I Wish it had a Strongs concordance and the option of other English translations like Amplified, Darby, ESV, KJV, AND THE 1881 RSV. One thing it will not let me do is to buy out the adds that's the reason for four stars because it's annoying to read in dark mode with a white banner always present

Excellent bible app !. Nothing better than the unfiltered, unaltered Word of God to be able to be read whenever and wherever you want. I especially like the large font size for tired older eyes. Couldn’t be any happier! A++++++

Love this Bible app. I love this Bible app as I am able to highlight scriptures. And they have 4 different highlight colors to choose from. You also have the ability to underline a scripture. I wish they has the option to underline with ‘boldness’ and to ‘highlight’ on the same scripture but it’s wonderful to at least be able to highlight them.

Not NKJV. From what I read before opening the app, I don’t think this New King James but actually King James. I opened my printed NKJV, John 3:1-12 and compared my John 3:1-12 with your John 3:1-12 you app. They aren’t the same. If I’m missing something, please straighten me out. What you offer sounds like a really good app otherwise. Thank you and God Bless your work.

It’s King James (KJV) not New King James (NKJV). Please change your App title. I should not have to read the reviews just to find out that this isn’t the version I intended to read. That’s pretty basic and a huge dealbreaker for me, thus the lower rating. However if you like the old King James Version, except for a few misspellings here and there it seems like a great app. Works great, simple with no extraneous features but all that you would actually use. Bummer it’s not my version.

Fran Haynes Review. I have several Bibles on my phone that I have used. This is absolutely the best one I just started and I’m sure the more features that I will enjoy. But it is simple. I like that. I couldn’t enlarge the text and it is very responsive.

Great having the Bible on hand at all time. I usually like reading the Bible at home but I find it very convenient to having the Bible on my cell phone at all times. To be able to pull the phone out of my pocket and to read Bible verses is awesome. Now I’m just waiting to have audio added then having the Bible on a hand held device will be truly amazing.

King James Bible. Really loved this version than I started to have a problem with the daily reading. Regardless of what book it would call for it would go to Genesis and I would manually have to look up the scripture I was supposed to be reading for that day. It would do it for every book except Psalms.

Dr. It was difficult to find a bible on line which was exactly like the paper version. This is so easy to navigate the scriptures just like being in church. Since it is downloaded on my phone, I always have the Bible at my fingertips 24 hours a day.

4 SAVED CHRISTIANS. As U probably know, after years of reading the scriptures, it becomes harder remembering (4 me ) where the Chapters & verses R. So we must thumb thru or index them, by then we have forgotten what was being said or what we we’re looking 4. THIS EDITION OF “THE KING JAMES VERSION” is exactly what I needed. It’s easy and quick to find what U want. Thanks to the APPS STORE for making this and other versions available to us.

Excellent Bible. Excellent Bible - organized and easy to read. I love the fact it offers a daily readings to read the Bible in one year. I can use the speaker to listen the scriptures during my workout, going to work or wherever I am. I absolutely love it and I would recommend to others.

Never lets me down🤗🤗. This wonderful book is filled with every answer you need in life. It has the answers for the good and the bad. I know some people may feel bored with it. Worth a download. I love this Bible app. It comes with a daily devotional morning and evening and will read the text of the Bible to you. It helps me to maintain focus to hear it read and to read along, so this is perfect for me. It’s a mechanized voice so there are mispronounced words but this is a very minor issue.

Loving my Bible. I carry a New Testament in my purse so when waiting somewhere I can pull it out and read. But with this Bible I can listen while driving ,read along while listening . You have a great translation of the whole word in your pocket. That way you have no excuse no to hear God’s Word.

Seems to be the KJV not the NKJV. This is a rather awkward review to write. The app seems to be well put together. And I do indeed appreciate the KJV. However, the app advertises itself as the NKJV as of the writing of this review. From the parts I read it seems to be the KJV. So I cannot review it well simply because it is not what it says it is. So if you are looking for the KJV this is a plenty good app for you. If you aren't sure what version you want, the KJV is a plenty good representation of God's word and so long as you keep in mind that this is in fact the KJV translation by all means, use this app. However, if you are looking specifically for the NKJV, this app does not appear to be it.

About GOD’S WORD. You supply GOD’S WORD, which is needed and you remind us, also. We do need to be reminded to read it in this busy and dangerous world. You, supplying the WORD helps keep me filled and have THE WORD to comfort me and to override all of the evil and negative. If I listen to the world too much, it can depress me. When I reflect back on THE WORD, I have hope. PRAISE JESUS for all of HIS promises. Thank you for supplying GOD’S WORD. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS.

Translation Integrity. With so many loose Bible translations available, it is a relief to get the NKJ audio Bible on my iPhone. I listen to it when my eyes are sore from working on the computer all day. The voice of the reader is pleasant to the listener. I listen to it when I lay down to bask in the Word. I read it for precise translation. It makes a difference which translation you use, so thank you for including the NKJ version of the Bible.

Amazing!!!. This app is fantastic! I love that there is apps out there that spread the gospel. Couldn’t be more happy with the highlighting,notetaking,etc. Maybe add more of a variety with colors, but that is not really a big issue for me. If I had to change anything, I would make mini lessons and go more into depth with the daily verses so everyone can get the main point of the verse and how it can relate to them in someway. Be relatable! Another thing is that once you choose a chapter and finish reading it, you have to scroll all the way down just to get to the book you want to read... this can be a little frustrating, so if you could possibly fix that it would be great! No ads when opened. I have another version that I really like but it started opening with a full screen ad, sometimes with audible, loud! Can’t open that in church!! I also have always used the KJV and am used to it, thought I’d try the NKJV. The highlighting option is also easy. I tried one version where I couldn’t remove a highlight, so I couldn’t use that to save my place, where I left off reading.

Pretty straight forward Bible app.. I enjoy this app. It’s simple to use and I especially like the way the pages flip as though they are virtually paper. However I confess I am used to the scrolling wheel and having to search through the main menu seems a bit clunky to me. Why not make the search option easier albeit quicker too by using a “Quick Menu” at the top? 🤔

This Bible does what it’s supposed to. I found this app after the last Bible app I had started a bunch of creepy marketing tactics and added in distracting features into their “free” version. This app actually lets you study the word and has awesome features for its truly free version.

Love the app but...... I love this app & I read from it every single day. I love this translation & the options I have within the app. I have tried numerous times of opting ti remove the ads but nothing happens. PLEASE fix this or tell me what to do. I’ve tried with in the app & even came back to the App Store, but nothing is working. I’ve been able to remove ads from other apps, so I know it’s not me nor my phone.

The greatest text book ever written. We are under a well qualified pastor who teaches from the original languages and this is our textbook the table of contents makes it easier to use and quick to get into a referenced chapter

Good and evil. I read the Bible every day. Pray with my wife that helps us get a perspective of the world. Reading God‘s word is a good place to be because he draws you closer to God and a better relationship. Changing Bibles. As I tried church in Alaska in my early 20s at a good, Bible-believing church, there came a time when I truly struggled in understanding The King James Version of the Holy Bible. As I was regularly attending church and discipleship training, I felt the need for a good Bible, dependable in translation. So I went on a search at a local, Christian bookstore. I settled on the New King James Version. It has helped me harvest truth, knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit. For many years in Bible Study Fellowship, it went with me to each class, regardless of which book we were in. I thank God for leading me to this Bible before I knew I should have prayed about this decision. He is so faithful. He tells us to study to show ourselves approved. I highly recommend the NKJV Bible despite the many other available versions. I also recommend praying over which one to choose and listen for His answer, no matter how it is given to you. Not NKJV. Please don’t mislead us saying this is NKJV when it is clearly still KJV. I know because its is word for word exact with my KJV bible that i have and not the NKJV that i also have. NKJV review. Too many adds

Would be better without adds. The adds are annoying

You version. I truly love the You Version App and would like to donate to it but it won't let me, says the funds have to be in USD but doesn't say how to do that, no clue how to go about using PayPal then? Anything you can do to fix this. So I can donate?

Love to listen and read the Bible offline. Especially as I travel. God’s words helps me to see where I am wrong and correct it. It haves me also helps for others. This Bible is very useful to me. God will used whom ever He pleases to do His will. We all have a part to help or not. I choose to help.

Navigation. Too tedious to go from one book to another specially when going from new to Old Testament and back.

You need JESUS 😂. This book can take you through desperate and hard time in life, it is a manual for our earthly life.

The Bible. It is a beautiful sight to walk by and see someone on their porch reading the Bible. I love the tabs where you can go to the tab and find the verse that the minister is reading.

Good bible app. I love this version of the Bible Easier to understand than the original King James but still has the poetic feel. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is I’m finding it confusing to navigate Maybe I need to get use to it

Why is this advertised as NKJV?. Just downloaded this app because I can no longer access my old NKJV on my old iPad. It claims to be NKJV, but it's KJV! I noticed in the reviews someone else mentioned this, while another person said how glad they were to find this NKJV because it's easier to read. What gives? Why does it say it's new King James, but it isn't? I can't seem to find the NKJV app anywhere. Does anyone know why?

All the books not included. The description states the books of the Apocrypha are included. But I downloaded the app and they are not listed on the table of contents.

Jesus is our father. Since I think this app is very good, it’s literally the Bible on your phone since I gave my life to Jesus and I claim him as my father and I know that he died for my sins. This app makes me happy.☺️☺️

Easy to view and comprehend. Great Bible apps I’ve had for years! Easy to view, to scroll through, to highlight, and simple to understand the truths of the Bible.

Good offline features. I was using a bible app but it’s features were tied to being online. This app I can store bookmarks offline. It has the King James Version which is good for me. It’s simple. There’s a few things I wish were better, like multiple verses in one bookmark, but it’s ok.

Accuracy and authenticity. I am writing this to let you know that I enjoy using this bible because it’s precision and authenticity has been exemplified and experience as I use this bible.

My rating. There is nothing more important than God’s Word! Thank you for making this wonderful app possible!

Great app….. with ads. This app is what it is. Ads are annoying and can be distracting at times. Not sure how or if they could be turned off. Would be a 5 star rating if not for the ads, so if you don’t have ADD then this would be the app for you.

User Friendly!. Very easy to use during church, figure out where all the buttons are and you can keep up with the pastor with ease!

Awesome app. My journey with God is so strong after downloaded this app. It’s so easy to use and I can always just read it on my phone without having to open my Bible and take physical notes. Super cool app

Do Better For God. This is the most important app on my phone and the least used. I must give more time and energy to GODS word and His work!

Easy to use daily!. Just started with this Bible version app while in hospital. I didn’t have my Bible and devotional with me. I was able to start daily readings and verses right away. Easy to find scriptures. Thanks.

Feedback. Wonderful bible easy to understand I love the black background easy for eyes to see. When you are older guy. I can also use the white background. Love the book marks it just a great app.

Big letters Easy Reading. I like that you can enlarge the text, choose your font, read offline with no internet connection.

The Bible Matthew one of my favorite books. One of my favorite books. The stories pull you in and don’t let go. You will never will never forget these stories. They are full of love and prayers and adventures.

Great free app!. I’ve had this for a few weeks now and I’m very happy with it all the way around. I enjoy the morning and evening daily devotional and I love that it keeps track of my reading. Overall, very pleased!

Great and simple to use but audio need work. Great and simple to use. Lots of audio voices but the speed of the voice seems to be stuck in fast mode. The sliding bar to slow down the speed of the voice is not interactive and the speech reads like an auctioneer.

Works well. No dramatized version but otherwise it’s worth using. Solid operation. Not glitchy like the Bible Gateway has become. Robotic voice but it keeps moving right along.

New King James Bible. I enjoy this Bible when I don't have my own Business blew with me. I do wish the editors had made sure the pronoun he was capitalized when it referred to the Lord, God or Jesus. Just a pet peeve of mine. But thanks for having this online.

Reading the Holy Bible. I can just pick up phone anytime and read and always go back pick up where I left off. Also I can do the reading or just listen

I can always have the word of GOD!!. I love it so easy to search and it helps me to find out even if I don’t spell it right what I’m looking for. The daughter of the all Mighty!

Bible. It’s easily accessible and helpful with the book panels to the left. It would be nice to have a short commentary to attached to dwell on and provide a little nudge to search for more?! Overall l still find myself reaching for this bible for a quick reference! Thank you🙏🏾

A cut above....,. Easy to read in day or night mode. Don’t know how to describe the print except to say it’s high definition. Love controlling the reading speed. It also has a near normal voice for reading - very nice. This is the one I use in church. Live it!

Perfect!. I forgot to bring my bible to work one day and I remembered I downloaded this app. I read the daily versus. They really helped. I’m glad we can carry the Bible everywhere we go with these apps.

My Bible. When I read it, I take the passage as a whole meaning. I don’t try to understand every word, just how I feel when I get done. Then I let my Lord give me the meaning so I can understand it. It’ll come, just takes a little patience.

Always available. When I have a thought & need guidance, it is at my fingertips
