Wonderful App. I had a Roav Transmitter but like a lot of people I didn’t read the manual. I had to buy another one because the one I had I guess over heated. But instead of leaving the book I read it and found this app. I do wish that I could turn the transmitter off while it’s still plugged in but beggars can’t be choose. I really like the app

Simple fix precludes 5-star rating. Parking Location is broken, and only captures a location if the app has been in the foreground in the last few minutes. Simple fix? BACKGROUND APP REFRESH. It seems your app talks about it, but fails to use the feature. The product works fine as a charger and Bluetooth fm transmitter, but this "smart" feature needs some fine-tuning! Also, curious what low 12V detection would prompt—an alert to service 12V? Might be good to include in documentation.

Went cheap bought monster regret it. Traded it after it worked for a month and 2 or 3 days roughly and now the anker roav just blows my mind was not expecting all these features at all and I absolutely love it no more buying just normal electronics I'll stick with anker had anker before that lasted and lasted to the point I wanted to upgrade and I have the anker usb c charger block and USB c to lightning cable from anker that does 45 watts of fast charging and never gets hot. Stick with anker it's nothing but very very very good quality no matter what

Doesn’t go down to 87.9 at bottom of dial. I had bought a ROAV transmitter a few years ago, and it works great, on 87.9, but I bought another newer one, both are apparently the same model, the F2, but the new one only goes down to 88.1, and all stations I tried using on the new one are horribly static filled. And the Owners Manuel for the new one even says that it is supposed to go down to 87.9, but it doesn’t.

Good hardware. This app needs more work. This app is a good companion to the Anker Roav SmartCharge Car Charger. This app needs background support. It will not mark your parking spot unless the app is actually open. Also, it's nice to be able to tune on the phone to a better station, however if the app had a seek function that scanned for the best station it would improve the app. Overall this is a good app. Keep up the development!!

Wonderful product. For those with an older car that wants to use Bluetooth this is an easy cost effective option. The app is helpful if you’re interested in locating vehicle and measuring vehicle battery.

Works great!. I just got this and plugged it in and it was very easy to pair up. Found an unused FM frequency and started playing my music it sounds great. Great little app to monitor your vehicles voltage too! The only thing is my accessory port has voltage all the time so I don’t know if I want to leave it plugged in and the potential for it to drain the battery. As this is for a 2004 Ford F150 which we use occasionally. But looking forward to using it in the years to come!

Nice to fine tune settings. I finally added Bluetooth to my car thanks to this device. I use the aux out, not the FM option so I can’t speak to that, but I like that I can go in through the app to change settings like voice announcements. The battery monitor is neat too. I don’t bother with the parking feature as Google maps does this automatically. All in all a decent app.

Hands Free / User Friendly. Not only have I been able to go hands free while listening to music, making phone calls, using GPS, but to be able to find my car is an added bonus that I will be now taking advantage of! 👍🏼👍🏼

Inexpensive Bluetooth Solution. I I have a 2007 Audi Q7 without the iPod port in the glove compartment. With cd changers in the rear and middle console, I was told there was no hope of getting Bluetooth for the car. The Roav was a great solution for me at this point until making a more long term fix or just enjoying as is. The sound is great, occasionally there’s a need to change stations due to interference but overall it’s a great product.

Roav Charger. Works great and has two ports for charging also. The blue tooth portion for music, which is why I got it mainly, interferes with calls of left plugged in to the power outlet in my truck. Other than that, I’m highly recommending the device.

So far super. Using since 3 days. Satisfied with the functionality. Charging, streaming, parking all going on well. Connects very easily with phone after the car’s switch is turned on. The music streamed to the FM radio is clear and loud and crisp. Didn't yet check the music played from USB device. Recommend strongly.

Best Adapter I’ve tried yet. I’ve tried several other bluetooth adapters and none of them worked like I wanted. This one is perfect!! It comnects every time as soon as start the car. It also has a audio jack for a better conmection.

Good services alongside Roav car Bluetooth, only one qualm. I don’t feel comfortable with apps that beg me for precise location all the time; I’d like the app to ask me as soon as we stop moving or the device is unpowered or something. Otherwise amazing features like Bluetooth and aux and usb and sd card functionality. Wish the device came with an aid cord of its own, but that’s not the application’s fault.

Great App. Got the Bluetooth/Car Charger and App, everything works as it should, it took less than 5 minutes to hook up and get connected. I’m an actual user of this App, not a fake review and I’m definitely not a robot. Lol I highly recommend this app, and product, which even has gps and tells me where I parked my car, I’m not that old yet, so I still remember where I park. I bought the Roav Bluetooth thing for my car, mainly so I can listen to my Apple Music in my car. I hate listening to same 8 songs on radio all day, and I’m not a fan of listening to wind, so I got this and now I got my music.

Bluetooth Issues Remain. Bluetooth connectivity on the iOS device will automatically connect even when out of range of the vehicle. The device doesn't seem to know when it is out of range to drop the connection. This is a big problem when you use multiple devices connecting via Bluetooth.

Roav radio blue Tooth or aux. It’s always good to read the manual in the box I’m barley found out they have a app an it helps you a lot like it can tell you if you car battery’s good or bad it can even show you where you parked your car witch is super helpful an over all just love this product 10/10 recommended goes above and beyond just being a car radio transmitter from the crisp sound it produces to charging the phone letting you know your cars battery life an locates your cars when needed absolutely love it my favorite cars addition upgrade so far

Works very well clear FM transmission. I’ve had two other FM transmitter Bluetooth items that haven’t worked nearly as well. It seems to be clear and automatically cuts the radio out with phone calls.

Awesome. At first I was skeptical about this charger and app but it’s really useful. As long as its plugged up it can track where you parked and tells you your battery voltage. I have yet to try it on my wife’s car but works well with mines can’t complain. To much chilies to choose from so I just keep mines red but if you want to play with the rainbow array of colors have fun.

Static. I kind of hear the static in the background. But the app seems to have some cool features that may go forgotten about until you need to use it. Excited cause now I can connect my music to my radio, and listen to commercial free, and music on my terms. Finally won’t have to hear the same music played over and over!!

Buy it!. This is my 3rd Bluetooth device that allows my to connect my iPhone to my car stereo through an FM station. The first two devices (other brands) were complete duds. This works great, right out of the biz. The app is helpful too. Just buy it!

I like it. I don’t consistently use all the functions of the app other than the FM transmitter but the other ones are convenient. Not sure if this has much to do with the app or the device itself but it can be finicky at times. I’ll connect to it, go into a store for a few minutes, then when it tries to reconnect it won’t connect. Ill have to turn my Bluetooth off and back on then unplug the device to get it to reset. Overall I gave it 5 stars because it does what it’s supposed to do.

Blowing my mind!. I love this so far and wish I would have found sooner! Would recommend to people who don’t have a way to play music through car and a great charger. Along with a few other neat features.

Great 12V Port. Everything is great just have a few ideas for the led feature. Could y’all add like a rainbow fade. Instead of having to choose one color can you make a setting that fades :)

Roav Charger. I like it I really do, but I think it needs to have a option to skip songs when you add a flash drive in to jam out. I know it has a skip on the devise itself but you should add the option to the app; but you could also add with that on its own screen with like the pause, back, forward, replay, and make it where you can see what song you are playing using this app. I know a lot of other Bluetooth devises that will let u do it. But that’s jst for the flash drive purpose you could also do it when your bluetoothing music etc.

Great device!!. Not only does it charge your phone and other devices quickly, but it also marks your parking spot so if you go somewhere where there are a lot of cars, you can find your car easily. 😀

More Than Perfect!!. This product could easily cost $50-$60 and I would gladly pay it. Smooth and easy User Interface. Love the ability to check the battery status, log your vehicles location, ability to change LED colors. The Superfast charging is absolutely amazing. Going to be purchasing several more for family and friends.

Best car charger ever!. Perfect! Charges everything fast and I didn’t even know it had a locator on it when I bought it.. (clearly I didn’t read the package fully) lol so it was like a bonus to me. The location is accurate and the notification comes straight to my phone when my truck is turned off. I love it!!

ROAV RAVE. ROAV Bluetooth car unit is a good value, well designed for ease of use and for me a life saver. Having the CD player in my car’s head unit fail I was overjoyed that the 6 CD’s stuck inside can stay there forever because now I can connect Apple Music through my car’s radio with ROAV and listen to an infinite amount of music, connect to my phone for safe, hands off conversation and toggle through a playlist effortlessly. Money well spent!

Don’t need a new car now!. I have a 2004 car, before cars came with Bluetooth. That is one feature that made me think a newer car would be great. My daughter got me this and now I have blue tooth and can find my car!

Good but needs some work.. The product is good but the documentation could use some work. Some functions are not clear, and others on the website - supposedly it tracks battery health - do not exist. Also the parking locator is not reliable in how it works. Often it will not mark the location even with the app running in the background

Not very good. I had high hopes for this but those hopes have been dashed. First of all, when I allow it to scan for stations almost every station it gives me is a station that is already used, so I have to keep trying. It only gives me N option of 4 stations no matter how many times I try.. when I do it manually and find “white noise” stations, it fails to connect to them. And when I’m lucky enough to finally find a station it will connect to, I have to turn the volume on my phone all the way up and the radio volume up to 35 to hear it. Why will it ONLY connect to stations it selects, which invariably are already in use, and not any I manually select?

Parking. The app is required to be open in order to collect any location from the phone or battery data from the Roav device. This means that for the advertised feature of logging your parking spot and finding it later, the app needs to be open at all times. Apps like google maps and the weather app are capable of reading location data in the background without the app being open, and in order to make this parking feature usable, this app should be able to do that too. As far as being able to change what radio station the device transmits over, the app is great. A feature to look up online and determine automatically which station is best would be a nice convenience, but the app is great without it.

Reluctantly tried device and app. I tried the app and this device needing a quick work around for an older car and this thing has been awesome. There is another app for something else make sure you get the Bluetooth device one.

Easy to use and does what I need.. Probably the easiest to use Bluetooth system that I have experienced so far. My ‘07 Jeep was just getting outpaced by modern tech and so I thought that I needed to replace the whole stereo (a.k.a. $400). This was the perfect solution to keeping equipment integrity and updating my vehicle to be equipped with hands free access.

Roav Review. So far I am pretty satisfied with the Roav FM transmitter, I like the functions to find your car, and I also like the ability to adjust brightness and I also enjoy the ability to adjust the preset station for the transmitter off of the app. However, I am a firm believer that we have bunch more room to fit in more functions and capabilities. I think that certain features can be modified. A good example is the device could carry its own tracking device that operates and pings through cell towers in case someone steals your car. I say this because I have now had multiple vehicles stolen from me. Another feature that would be cool to see would be the ability to speak to text. The ability to just freely talk like how you would with Alexa would be great.

Not a fan. Unfortunately this Roav isn’t much better than a 10 dollar monster Bluetooth adapter in my opinion. It doesn’t transmit very loud, it seems to always have some sort of interference the automatic channel button will only find a channel every 4-5 clicks and on top of that I can not get this app to pair with my device. I’m not usually one to write a bad review but I feel like for what I paid for this device everything should work.

Really helpful. Really helpful, my car doesn't have bluetooth built in so this helps out a-lot. It was a bit difficult finding an open station to connect to but fairly easy, only problem with the app is the location is sometimes off, not of the car, just says i'm across the street sometimes. Overall pretty good experience.

Roav review. Amazing product! My car never had bluetooth and I’ve had my vehicle for over 5 years so I was very excited. This is a great product to update an old cars audio.

So far it’s awesome!. Really enjoying the app so far. Everything works just like it’s supposed to. Connects quickly, changes the color of the ring immediately, and remembers where I parked. Plus having 3 USB ports will be really nice.

This company make great products. This company has top-notch products. They can tell they really put time and effort into satisfying their customers. I had purchased an FM transmitter from a different company and the sound quality sucked. So I tried the ROAV FM transmitter I had brought for my mom and compared the two sound quality and ROAV was very clear and concise(it was as if I was listening to the radio or listen to music through my phone)

Buy it.. I was weary at first on this purchase but after testing it out on both my 2005 Subaru wrx STi and my 1969 dodge cornet, yes 1969 it works pretty freaking good, small amount of static at some points when driving but if you’re listening to music you can’t hear it. I would rate 5 stars if the static was non existent but for what it is I’m pleased. The gps and battery monitor for your car is also pretty neat and a plus.

Roav - Bigger than you think. I had this app and was surprised when I found out it’s features. It’s compatible with more than the phone charger I purchased. I was looking into buying a dash cam and it recommended this app. That kinda ‘put it in the bag for me.’ Anyhow, anyone who wants extra security, does a lot of driving, parks in suspect places, or whatever reason, I suggest getting a dash cam. It only has to come in handy once to pay for itself and this app is compatible with some of them.

Awesome!. This device and app are pretty awesome! Charges ultra fast, parking reminder is super helpful & battery status is extra convenient! App is user friendly, intuitive, and easy to use! I also love the fact I can easily change the color of the LED trim so now it matches with the other LED features I’ve got installed!

Close.... Need the ability to manually shut off FM broadcasting Volume seems to be a little low Quality seems to be best over certain stations, so don't judge it too quickly, play with it a bit Also need the ability to disable automatically broadcasting the FM signal upon turning the car on Need ability to prevent music from automatically playing upon connection Not crazy about the voice confirming it's paired, but if it were my device, I would put my voice on it too. Basically, it's fine to keep your defaults, but give me the option to turn some of those off.

Very useful!. This all works great and doesn’t need to be open at all, despite another review I read. However it doesn’t always grab my location and I wish it would try a little harder.

So polite (And useful). Not only was this the most polite request for a review that an app has given me for a reviews in my entire experience with the App Store, the app is useful. I only have the 3-Port charger, no FM adapter or anything, but it’s an effective charger and the additional functions are useful. Being able to change the color of the ring is a nice bonus but the big thing for me is that I can actually monitor the charge of my car’s battery. Maybe not a huge deal for some people, but if you pay attention to things you can catch a failing battery before it leaves you stranded in a parking lot unable to start your car.

Works perfect. exactly what I thought it would be and more. Has been working perfectly since I bought it. Very impressed

Why 5. Well that fact that it has a gps type of feature sold me on the fact that it works better then trying to remember where you parked it’s your phones gps tracking I believe but it’s nice

Luv this app!. So far the app and charger work like a champ. This app is stable and the charger too. I wish it worked with iOS “Do Not Disturb while Driving”. The device is a simple Bluetooth audio to FM transmitter device. It really doesn’t do much more. It is nice that you can change the FM frequency with the app, though it is not needed, since you can change the frequency directly from the charger. i just wish the app had more integration with iOS itself, such as Siri compatibility, or Siri Shortcuts compatibles. Parking location feature is cute, though you can already do this with Apple Maps. All in all, I would definitely recommend this.

Doesn’t work well, keeps notifying you to let you “always” track you. No longer works, doesn’t connect my iPhone to charger even though it can detect it.

AW. As devices go the quality is great, in terms of how glitchy the app is it’s appalling, doesn’t know if the device is connected or not tells you it isn’t when it is doesn’t allow changing of radio channels at all, consistently kicks back to settings when it doesn’t think it can connect all in all a very very difficult app to use but a good quality product for build and sound

Annoying. The Bluetooth stays active after parking for the night. I will connect to my in home speaker and the ROAV will disconnect that and reconnect to my iPhone. I’ve also had my car battery go dead twice since using this. I do like the Bluetooth ability in my car but this is shady, like others stated.

Not working. My ROAV charger transmitter isn’t being detected by the app, so atm I have to give it 1 star. Adore it tho

Works as Advertised. Just plug the transmitter in and enjoy music from your iPhone. Inserting a USB Flash Drive allows you to listen to your favorite song anytime, anywhere.

Recommendation. It’s a great device the music is very pure no FM noise just a little tiny twinky thing the mic is not sensitive enough i have to raise my voice i hope they will upgrade this in later versions .

It’s everything that’s mentioned so far so good. I like it streaming right away pretty effortless on my part it’s all done for you which I like. Kiss system keep it simple stupid.

Works great but not with the app. I’ve been using this for about 1 yr and only connected it to the app once but it has never been able to connect with the app since even though I’ve figured out how to connect and control it without the app but it would be nice if the app would actually connect to it again.

Great device!. Decided to grab one of these at Walmart just to check it out for my old Corvette and was very impressed! 10x better than I expected a device like this to be and super easy to setup!

Tired of the wires. The ROV FM TRANSMITTER IS AWESOME. I’m on STATEN ISLAND and I get most of my radio channels clear however 88.1 and 88.5 are static prone-but usually no sound radio only. The ROV FM TRANSMITTER CUT THROUGH THAT STATIC. I get clear reception BLUE TOOTHED from my IPHONE 10 TO THE ROV FM TRANSMITTER and THEN from the radio head unit. READ THE MANUAL ITS SHORT AND SWEET-very easy to get it to work-take the time out to READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Just great. $20 for this little thing, it looks cool, has a carbon fiber look and also tracks your car and has other helpful features.

Gave an old car a new trick!. My old car wasn’t equipped with Bluetooth so no hands free option. This simple, easy to use and inexpensive device solved my problem! I love it and can now talk and keep my IPhone X charged!!!!

Great for Price. Great for Price, -1 star for not being able to change name of device; for example of items such as Beats by Dr DRE . Otherwise seems to work smoothly , have had it onky for 24 hours.

Re: Roav Charger. It really works. You can change the color of the light you can turn it off and it really does tell you where yo car is.

Loudness. I will day it’s not very loud in my 2002 Honda could be my actually speakers and radio but the radio and my phone is all the way turned up how can I get it to be loud if possible?

Love it !. Charges my phone very Fast I’m very happy with it ! and when I’m at the mall or anywhere else in a sea of cars and forget where I parked it totally helps me locate my car, best charger I’ve had for my car 👍🏼

Good for what it does. The call quality is pretty bad, from my experience with it, but with all the cool features it has to offer it’s definitely worth it.

Lincoln LS update. I am very impressed with this Bluetooth on my telephone that works to my car to FM, it comes in very clear and professional, I feel like I’m riding in the latest technology, very impressive

Help. I’m trying to connect my iPhone 8plus but it says unsuccessful and to have Roav in and in range. My other phone connect fine and so does my friends phone. Let me know if you can help please. Thank you

FM Transmitter. I can create my own radio station. :) I can also use the auxiliary port and use a Bluetooth connection! Great for all my favorite music I listen to while I drive. ;)

Low high quality. This device has the best audio out via Bluetooth my sound is just perfect 🙏

Very helpful companion. This app is a very helpful companion to my new Roav Bluetooth transmitter. I like the find my car feature as well as the ability to change the tuning of the transmitter itself.

Works like a champ!. My radio can be spotty at times but ever since I bought this product, I’ve been cranking the tunes UP! It’s plays flawlessly and doesn’t damage my speakers. I’d definitely recommend getting this one.

Have went through countless different types of blue tooth radio/chargers. As stated in the title I have went through so many it’s not even funny and this is the only working half decent one I have ever had

transmitter was not the best in LA. So the device is great but not in LA you can also add copper wire to make it a bit better but not in Los Angeles but app is okay just the gps thing is a bit confusing but I appreciate it and have not return the device

App did not connect to hardware. App can’t find the device. Uninstalled/reinstalled, opened/closed, reset phone several times as well as bluetooth connection and nothing worked. Even tried resetting hardware and still nothing. Device works well but app, unfortunately, does not live up to its purpose.

Comes in handy. This little thing comes with a lot lol you can track your car and see the battery life in your car as well as play music . BUY IT NOW

So far so good. Just picked up the Roav charger with fm transmitter and it’s been working well all day for music, haven’t tested it for phone calls and personally don’t need it for phone calls while driving so for right now, 5 stars!!

Find my car. This feature is neat and it would be better if it sent the location to google maps.

Best invention ever!. Not only does it charge my device super fast. It makes me less worried about my car getting stolen since it has automobile tracker. It also tells you how your car battery is doing!

Saved me $600+. I was seriously considering overhauling my sound system in my newly purchased SUV. It has all the creature comforts except Bluetooth audio. This device works great for older model vehicles.

Great. This is a really great app.. this really acts as if it’s a tracker it let you know where you last parked .. and also the charger is great has 3 ports and charge the phone real quick!

Great. Great for owner but this need privacy option to connect other peoples in a car for unnecessary parking and battery info beside phone charging.

App doesn't work with SmartCharge T2 model. The booklet simply tells you to connect to the device like a normal Bluetooth speaker, but they don't include instructions on how to use the app. As far as I can tell, the app isn't supported. Which means there is no way to upgrade the firmware or utilize other functions only the app could provide.

Bumping hard. If you can find a good station that’s not used then it bumps really hard. Plus I love the fact that I don’t have to remember where I parked.

Great product. Songs cut out occasionally, but it happens rarely enough to over look it, everything else works great
