Only works in portrait mode.. This only works in portrait mode. The Idevice sharing the “screen recording” session needs to rotate the device so that it is usable ate all. You have absolutely no control over what is happening on the screen, as you would expect. Instead you have to get the client to rotate their screen until things are right-side up and then you most talk them into doing everything because you have no control remotely. Very disappointed in this implementation as before it was usable and now, not so much.

This app is a scam. Used by scammers. FBI is on to it now. I sent my info to the DOJ they are getting more and savvy. These third countries and their scammers are in a for a rude awakening and the why the Middle East is being blown up. Karma

App is great for remote support. The app works really well for remotely supporting staff or family members. To all the people giving a poor review because they were scammed in to downloading to app - perhaps you need to place your blame somewhere else, it is 2022 and these sorts of scams have been around for a very long time now. If you are going to use the internet you should educate yourself on the basics instead of blaming some one other than yourself or the scammer.

Brilliant. I have to admit I wasnt hopeful on this, as my hopes have been dashed before. But this does actually work and works really well. It might be better to call in the app store SOS On Demand, rather than Splashtop On Demand SOS (for easier searching), but a minor quibble (when it installs it is called just SOS, and uses the SOS icon rather than the Splashtop one. But worth the upgrade in the license fee

Excellent, low latency and much easier than other options. Works very well with low latency compared to much more expensive options. Setup is really easy although no keyboard input etc for support person. The people leaving bad reviews over being scammed by con artists are being exceptionally unfair to Splashtop. It’s nothing to do with this software/app, sort of like disliking a bic pen because a scammer used it to write down a persons details.

Phishing tool used by scam artists-avoid. Unfortunately your app is being used in eBay scams -people claiming to be a legitimate company and the app allows them to watch you fill in an online form. I’m sure the app has its uses but you need to improve security or others are placed at risk

Scammer. I scammed by an eBay spammer and they asked me to install the application for mobile screen sharing. I believe you need to improve your security and stopping spammer to use your application.

eBay Scam. Yes your app is definitely being used for eBay scams as I just received the call now!

Great App but being used for Indian scam artists. This app is being used by Indian scam artists who call you and tell you that someone has been using your eBay account or bank account to buy gift cards, sometimes even Amazon prime, etc… once you download the app they will ask you for your unique 9 digit number so that This app will give them full access to your iPhone or iPad so once you give them the 9 digit code they can do anything you can do, from activating your camera, viewing your screen, watch your typing, get your passwords, etc so when you use your internet banking they can do anything you can do, like transfer money, buy gift cards for iTunes, Google Play store and even VISA money cards which they either sell to people on eBay or other various online marketplace websites. They almost always have an Indian accent and use fake caller ID numbers so they’re impossible to track. If you are asked to download this app and you have never met the person in real life, don’t do it. For more info, watch a guy named kitboga on YouTube to see how you can waste their time while telling them absolutely nothing. This guy makes a sport out of it by seeing how long he can tie them up on the phone for so they aren’t scamming other people. His current record is something like 5 hours. These people get extremely frustrated when you give them false information, and make a lot of mistakes. Best thing is to simply hang up the phone because they buy, sell and trade lists of names and numbers of “responsive” call recipients like you and me. Stay safe folks!

Useless for tech support.. Not really the fault of Splashtop but this app is useless for tech support. End-users can only show what is wrong. Tech support cannot do anything but watch. No chat window. Cannot take control to fix anything.
