10/10 Recommend. A new student just recently transferred in my high school, and I wanted to help him out since he can't speak English very well. I looked up random apps that would help you learn a certain language. When I came across this app, at first I was thinking about deleting it until I had a mini conversation with him. He was impressed at how good my pronounciation was. He told me he didn't think that anyone in my school spoke Japanese. At first I didn't. If you want to help another student out or just interact with a foreigner, I would for sure download this app and get to educating yourself. You have to be really dedicated to learn the language though, don't expect to learn over night! 😊

best app to learn a new language. A few days ago, I got bored so I decided to learn Korean. I’m definitely not bored anymore ahah. Anyway, I didn’t realize how complicated it would be to learn the symbols, spellings, and pronunciations. Drops has helped tremendously. This app makes learning a new language fun and easy. The best part is that it doesn’t take much time at all! Just 5 minutes each day. And the app doesn’t give you more information than you can learn at once. The app was designed amazingly, and the setup makes the app easy to operate. I highly recommend this app, whether you’re using it for a class, preparing for a trip, or just because you want to learn something new: Drops is the way to go!!!

I really like this app.. The only reason I would not give this 5 stars is I do not plan on learning too many other languages at this time. And while the price of the lifetime is cheaper than any personal tutor for a month (at least where I live), I only plan on learning one additional language and do enjoy the various interactive games. It is a shame that I am able to only get maybe 12 minutes tops out of the game. I know there’s the option to get 20 minutes with a referral but I’m also assuming that’s a one-time use and I would definitely burn that out in one session. Haha And given how much time and effort is put into the languages available and how many lessons they provide, I’m sure this is a bargain all around. Overall, this does seem to be addictive because it not only shows you the verbs, but it gives you a little animation. Although some of the animations seem to eat up the limited time I have in between each word. Others than these little minuscule things, this is a great app.

Disappointed?. I bought the premium subscription because I liked the mechanics of the app, however I realized they were teaching alternate (?) meanings to words? For instance when I first learned numbers from multiple other sources, they were “하나”(1) and “둘” (2) however this app teaches them as “일” and “이” respectively, which isn’t really wrong. That is how you say those words, but it doesn’t seem like the most common way to do so. It did the same thing with everybody (모두 instead of the more common 여러분) and a few other words. I kind of feel like I was a bit misled in purchasing the premium as these were lessons that you couldn’t access to before purchasing. I’m just a little disappointed that I can’t count on this app to build on and reinforce what I’ve already learned after buying it (luckily at a way discounted price but still a rather hefty some of money). I was really looking forward to it.

Babe I’m tellin u. It’s fun, easy, the best one I’ve ever had to learn, it’s so easy and also they started the words that almost sound like English or if u know different languages but to me as i know Arabic, Amharic, Swahili, Somali, and some France it made sense cuz it was so easy. I love this app and If army is here I’ll recommend this app for u babe it’s best u will learn fast. I’m learnin cuz I want to u deter and and speak To some people and fans Of Shinee group. ❤️❤️and also watch kdrama and ithout sups let’s imrove ma Babes good luck with any Korean. But let me tell u if u speak more languages like me u might understand but some other languages u already new might messed up so do schedule to speak with frequency like to ur friends and ur family. As u learn Korean. It will get better and won’t messed up ur head and each time u learn don’t forget it keep practicing with people or try to watch kdrama without subtitles and if u have friends who speaks Korean try practicing with them. Don’t be stressed out or think about to learn it fast take ur time and enjoy babe. GOOD LUCK💕

For beginners only. The app has very nice graphics which make it easy to learn and remember. However, I would not recommend it if you are an intermediate or advanced Korean student and want to practice writing or want to learn new words. There is no placement test at all, so you have to start from the beginning, with learning the names of foods. I wanted an app that helped me write in Korean, and as that was one of the pictures shown on the App Store, I decided to try it out. Unfortunately, I will have to delete it, because since I already know quite a lot of Korean, it won’t be very helpful. It would be great if there was some kind of test at the beginning, or at least something where you can select whether you already know some Korean. Other than that, it’s a decent app for beginners.

It’s decent.. Good side: It’s very cute, simple and easy to learn. The designs and layout are nice. The ‘lessons’ aren’t too hard. Bad side: Took a long time to even be able to get access to the app considering it kept saying my email was already in use when I tried to sign up & then kept saying the account didn’t exist when I tried to log in. You get 5 minutes to learn 13 words, then have to wait 10 hours unless you want to pay something like $60+ for a plan set up. As far as I could see, it’s just words that pop up on the screen with the pronunciation. I’m not sure if there are actual lessons. Overall it’s okay but definitely not for any students on a budget or anyone trying to simply and quickly learn a language. I think I’ll wait the 10 hours to try again then after that I may delete it. It has potential, though, and I hope to see it improve soon.

How much I Love drops By: fluffy rainbows. I love drops because of how it have different categories (Ex- food, sports, transportation, religion etc.) and it doesn’t wait for you to finish one lesson to go into the next. Like for every categories you can go into the first one . And the reason I want to learn Korean is to speak to my friends and stuff and I want to go to Seoul one day. And to understand BTS lol and k pop in general. Thank you for making it possible! This is a VERY fun and amazing app. For people who want to learn a language go here!!! It doesn’t have EVERY language but it has mostly the ones you’d wanna learn! Like Thai,Chinese English and sooooo many more. I give the app soooooooo many stars (lol) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️... thanks for your time! Bai bai

I love it but some bothers. I love how you can learn it I think it’s better then doulingo (even tho you learn many other) it’s easier to study Korean you don’t just learn the syllables and run out of hearts but if you mess up you can retry I love this so much keep up the work :) But I don’t like how you have to pay to learn EVERYTHING I want to learn everything for free and I get that it’s hard and you guys want to at least get some money or something but it would be nice to learn the whole language so that if anyone ends up living in a place where they lean the language and they say a word that’s unknown to them they don’t go like what please take this into consideration Thank you :D

VERY IMPORTANT SO READ. drops is actually helpful, first let me tell you the reason why i downloaded drops.. it’s because im addicted to kpop (me && my sister) && we both r trying to learn korean (she knows more korean then me && im trynna catch up) and we both wanna be idols(she wanna sing) i wanna dance (i can sing too😁) but we are black (&& she keeps saying we not gonna make it we r black) keep in mind im 12 shes 17 so when she turns 20 or 21 thats when we move to korean and leave our family behind😞 and to be honest we got the same dad but different mom😶 so yeh and we r 5 years apart and when she turn 20 or 21 pretty sure ima be 16 or 17 idkk but yeh (and thats why im using drops) also using it to jus live in korean jus incase we dont make the idol move!! So thats our plan B to live there jus incase we dont make it😁, now drops is awesome not gonna lie i do forget to use it sometimes but thats okay!!! BUT U GUYS NEED TO USE DROPS BC WHY WOULD I MAKE A WHOLE PARAGRAPH IN 8 IN THE MORNING AND WASTE MY TIME TO SLEEP!! TBH ONCE I WAKE UP CANT GO BACK TO SLEEP😭 BUT YEHHH GUYS USE THIS APP BYEEE🤍

better than duolingo. I’ve been using Duolingo for a week and found myself becoming irritated with the lessons. I’m progressing well enough but the phrases they are teaching aren’t ones that I hope to have to use. For example, “ a cat is not food. a man is not food “. while i agree wholeheartedly with the statements, learning them isn’t going to help me as a tourist unless i find myself at a questionable restaurant or among cannibals. The app, Drops, takes a different approach. During my first 5 minutes i was already committing words to memory that i can use immediately such as food items. The tone of the repetitive voice has staying power. I feel excited to learn again!

Kinda confusing. I reallyyyyyy love this app it’s really great has helped me with my Korean spelling and pronunciation I really do suggest it for Korean learners it’s really convenient and really easy its repeats stuff over and over so you can remember it. It’s really easy to use it helps you practice on structure on sentences. Although, it sometimes confuses me, but that’s good because it’s trying to help me memorize stuff, which I think that’s key point in learning. I really love this app and suggest it if you’re have a tuff time. I tried learning a while back but gave up, this app is has been really helpful this time I’m not giving up, I really do have my heart set on learning Korean!! I hope you download this app, if your have any troubles!! I REALLY recommend it!!! Anyways goodbye, hope my review help you have a better view of this app!!

Fastest way to learn Korean vocab. After trying so many ways to learn Korean vocabulary, this is the best I have found. The app makes it fun, and I feel like it works really well with how I (and most people, I think) learn language. I am amazed how quickly I learn and actually REMEMBER words and phrases much more easily than trying to memorize. And the mix of learning styles to help you integrate what you learn is really well-balanced (speaking, listening, writing, reading). The short sprints make it doable every day and the way the app encourages you makes it light and fun. If you’re learning a language I highly recommend using this app. 100% worth it.

Gift your future. This is the best app I've ever downloaded. The 5~ minute sessions are perfect for my mornings. I just lay down in bed with a cup of coffee and grind through 5 minutes of Hangul. And then in the evening on my commute home, I just sit on the metro with headphones and work through another 5 minutes. Over the past 3 months I've learned the alphabet, can read (slowly), and understand about 350 words so far. My only complaint (although I obviously still highly recommend this app and give it 5-stars) is that SOMEtimes they give me very Americanized words. Like coffee, hazelnut, blender, avocado...I don't really need to "learn". I would prefer if, instead of these American words I already know, they'd give me a traditional Hangul word. Nevertheless, I love this app and it's wonderful for someone trying to learn a new lanaguage for the first time.

Good for vocab. This app is good if you want to become familiar with a lot of vocab that you probably won’t be able to get as easily from other sources. Not helpful at all when it comes to grammar but very nice, painless way to be able to recognize a lot of different vocab words. The big criticism I have is how they don’t allow a monthly subscription option. I would easily pay ten dollars a month for this subscription but not a lot of people can drop $110 all at once to pay for something they’re not even that confident they’ll use for the 12 months they have access to it. Make an affordable monthly subscription and I’m on board. Otherwise I don’t think I’m going to use this app that much.

Great design but annoying push to go Premuim. I love the overall app design in drops. It looks absolutely amazing and is a thrill to use. All the gestures and icons are really well thought out, making for a seamless experience. The option to drop the Latinized spellings is also great, because Latinized Korean results in terrible pronunciation. I prefer to learn by reading the characters and listening carefully to the native speaker’s pronunciation of the word. Great work! My only problem with Drops is the regular “suggestions” to go Premium. In some cases, I cannot dismiss the view unless I click “I want this”. The only way around that (since I’m not ready to go Premium) is to either quit the app or switch to a different feature and then come back and do some work before the ad pops up again. I wish it were possible to dismiss that for those who don’t have the money to go Premium.

I just started. The app told me to review for ten more minutes BUT so far it seems really great. I am comprehending the words very well and picking them up really fast. The visual representation helps a lot and constantly hearing it throughout the session. I’m Korean and I’m visiting Korea soon. I was adopted from there when I was about 5 months old. I don’t know the language, but I’m hoping this app will help me out a little bit before I go. Just to be able to recognize stuff. So far, my first five minutes have been a good introduction and I’m quite excited to keep going. I really like how you can choose the words you wish to learn and those you don’t. The pronunciation so far sounds pretty accurate as well, so I’m really looking forward to this app. Also the fact that you can choose the topic is really nice. Since I’m going there soon, I won’t have enough time to really get a grasp on the language, but at least I’ll be able to narrow down what I am learning so I can be slightly less confused while I’m there.

Would be 5 stars if you could actually remove words. Compared to another flash card app, I really enjoy Drops. The different mini games are more engaging. My main issue is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to block words from appearing. I thought the “hide” feature in your learned vocab list would achieve this, or perhaps it would if I had less words hidden, but it’s really annoying to get beach volleyball and other Romanized loan words over and over again, especially when there are other words in the section you’ve marked as new for you. I understand it’s good to get some older words once in a while, but whatever algorithm is used could use some tuning. I get that that’s not trivial. Maybe all this could be avoided if you could preview the words in each section. As an intermediate learner, I’m certainly glad I didn’t look at the first section (on Hangeul), otherwise I’d be wasting more time. I sorely regret checking the numbers section for anything I might’ve not known.

Disappointed. I was really excited to download this app and start studying the Hangul and learning Korean. I purchased the premium yearly subscription but my account never upgraded. I kept getting offers to “go premium!” and I still had to wait the 10 hours to continue the lessons. So, I checked my subscriptions on my Apple account and it was there, money already taken out of my bank account. But when I looked at my Drops account it said “go premium”. Super disappointed, requested a refund. Will delete the app and try a different one once I know the status of my refund. Other than the subscriptions issue, I thought the content was good. The voice pronouncing the words/letters was a bit robotic but I was able to understand enough.

정말 행복!. 안녕하세요! I have been using this app to learn Korean for over a year now, and this app makes learning a language so comprehensible. You don’t even realize how easily you are learning the words, and the methods are fun and simple to follow. I have really picked up on the language thanks to quite a bit of help from this app. Some things I would suggest though, is for those who are really trying to learn to speak the language, there is only really vocabulary words and how to word certain verbs on here, and I would like to see maybe some teachings on how to conjugate verbs and sentence structure. I had to do a lot of alternative research to really learn to speak the language correctly. I don’t know if there is something for that in the intermediate section because I’m only halfway done with beginner, but I definitely think it would help. I would also really like to see some sections that cover slang words and honorifics, because I think the latter is very important to learn if you plan to travel and use the language in the country or with actual Korean people. Otherwise, it’s very fun to use and I always look forward to doing my lesson at the end of my day. 정말 행복.... Very happy! 감사합니다!

This is aMaZiNg. It repeats a lot so that it gets in your mind which really helps. And it’s just so easy to use and it’s really interactive. As a Kpop fan with many Korean friends who aren’t willing to teach me Korean, I’m so so so happy I found this app! When you’re learning the “Korean Alphabet” as they call it, you actually get a chance to write on your screen what it is. And “ㄱ” for example, is one of the ones I learned, and you get to practice writing it out. It’s also really helpful because if you don’t have premium, you don’t have to take too much in and it’s just 5 minutes and it’s really helpful with making sure you’re not putting too much in your mind. And if you get the regular “Drops” app, then there are many other languages you can learn too! As a huge BLACKPINK fan, (I literally LOVE them) I get a chance to learn Korean and Lisa’s language Thai. And with Thai, it’s the same thing. I’m so glad I found this app and it’s super helpful. Thank you drops!!!!!

Better than I thought. It’s the best app I’ve downloaded to learn Korean. I downloaded the app so I could learn Korean to understand k dramas because I always have to read subtitles. I’m writing this review on the day I’ve downloaded the app. This app keeps me busy and I actually remember some of the words I’ve learned already which is crazy because I’m really forgetful. So far this has helped me on my journey to understand Korean. The only problem I have is that I wish the app would let you speak the words and tell you if your correct or not because if so you might need to speak to someone in the language and they can’t understand what your saying or what if you miss said it. Also I wish premium wasn’t so expensive for the people who want it . Another problem I have is that I wish I wouldn’t have to wait 9-10 hours so I could learn more words. Other than those I don’t have any other problems with the app. To some things up overall the app is good with helping you remember the words and it also shows you the words in Korean which is great.

Amazing. I think that this is a great app and that you could learn Korean really well with it. I rated it only four stars though because I think that you learn the words to fast and I would like more time to practice the words before adding new ones. I also do not really like that you have to get the Premium version so that you can learn more, but there are a lot of other lessons that you can do without the Premium version. I think that they also do a great job with the layout and I think that the app is really effective and it is really satisfying to move the words and other items around. I also like how every few days they say “Please work on this some more” and I find that really helpful and then I just keep working. I am the kind of person that gets really interested in something and then drops it after a day. This app is really fun and I find myself doing that five minutes. They do not push for you to do more. They set a timer and then when you are done they show you how much you progress. I think that if you want to learn languages this would be a really helpful app. Since you are reading this I might as well tell you that this is a great app and I really suggest it.

My Drops Experience. First of all, Drops is an amazing way of learning a new language. But, there is only one problem, you can only learn your language for about five minutes every ten hours! And if you want your lesson to be longer, you have to buy Premium! With Premium, you have to either pay per month, year, or even for lifetime. I’m not saying Drops is bad, I’m just saying this takes off two stars for me. Maybe the lessons could be about 15-20 minutes, every five hours. Anyway Drops is a really fun and easy way to learn any language! Right now I am learning Korean, and Drops has made it fun and pretty easy for me, because of course I am a beginner. You should buy Drops if you are patient enough. I of course am not, but I think I can manage. I just hope Drops will someday change their ways.😉🇰🇷😊

Highly addictive! Totally recommend!. Learning Korean for me through Drops is such a good call! The interactive modes and constant repetition are what gets the language to stick. You can choose on how long you want to daily practice, and keeping up with it gets you bonus time! Even if you don’t go premium, Drops lets you work around it! If I complete a section, they give me another to work on. It doesn’t overwhelm you into cramming words, then you forget them. You go through words multiple times even when you’ve mastered it, gaining strength in those topics/words. Highly addictive! Totally recommended!

AMAZING!!!. Annyeonghaseyo! This app has really improved my Korean, pronunciation, and writing. And it’s all in 5 minutes. 5! I’ve already been learning with Duolingo, but this app is way better. It teaches you 15 words in only 5 minutes. When I first looked at it, it just looked another one of those language apps. But to my surprise when I downloaded, it was full of fun, creative ways to help me learn, and it was the best app that I’ve used to help me learn Korean. And one of the best parts is, there are absolutely NO ADS!!! I think this app is fantastic, and if you download it yourself, you’ll think that too!

Enlightening Suprise. When I first open the game you get greeted with aesthetically pleasing colors and pictures. With the short time playing the game I have learned (5 minuets) I have learned just about 10 words. They make it easy to pronounce and give you the chance to recognize it from other words like making you spell the pronouncing and giving you the picture and answering what it means. You can really pick up the language really quick if you stay dedicated. I was really surprised on how easily I caught on and really expanded my vocabulary. I just got this game today and I can’t wait for my session tomorrow! Only thing I would say I don’t like without the subscription is that you can’t review what you have already learned in the collection tab. It only gives you about 20 seconds to look at if before saying it is a premium thing. I feel you should let people review what they have learned without having to pay.

I’ve enjoyed this app. I have only spent 10 minutes using the app before I was given the option to leave a review. So far, I have made it through the first 5 minutes of active use of the app; the first 5 minutes of use was given to me to use for free. At first, I was annoyed that I had to pay to use the app after only the first 5 minutes, but then I turned it into a game to just do the 5 minutes a day and leave it at that. I played through a series of flash cards and the category was food. I felt like the vocabulary given was easy enough to learn. I felt that it could be useful for both beginners and users who have previous experience with the language.

Great for beginners , update: however..... Earned a few words easily in a few minutes Update: I have been trying for a few days and it was great. However for almost 3 days now ,no new word was introduced to me , it’s always been a practice of previous words and lessons. I have answered everything correctly in no time. I don’t know how long will this keep on going. And also the app will try to make you answer in Korean symbols , in which I have no basic knowledge, and you will be forced to memorize how the Korean symbols look like . Ex: it will show you a picture of a bread and there are words written in Korean and you have to choose which one is bread??? ——I will still keep on using it maybe it is one of the teaching method that will be helpful later on. I hope..

Impressed!. This is the first app that actually teaches the language in an easy way without asking for money right away either. I tried Babbel, Memrise, etc., but their techniques and constant "membership" purchases aren't efficient. The only downside of the app is that it's only five minutes for the free plan... *tear* I love how visually appealing and simple Drops is; I haven't had any problems so far. I absolutely love how there is a choice for romanization and that it's only five minutes of practice daily(it's a curse and a blessing, i know). Drops is basically stress-free. It's genuinely calming and, I admit, quite addicting. You must try it out at least, and you see what I mean when I say it's not like any other language app.

Premium Is The Only Thing To Get The App To Shut Up. I’m seriously annoyed how premium shows up all the time. I get you want money for making this app but can you at least not make it look desperate. The learning app is only living for premium, even if their user is poor or rich. I shouldn’t have to be speaking about how this game treats its users like this. As much as your app is getting popular it’s also getting worse, I’d like to see improvements on this app. Cuz currently it’s horrible especially kids. Some kids can’t even say a word to their parents about buying premium because it’s expensive and a waste of money. The people who waste their money on this most likely are people who have jobs. Please make this a bit more free where money isn’t the only thing that matters.

Wow. Okay, so I am a hard core American that only speaks english. For years I couldn't speak any language because I never found any app best suited. Recently my bestfriend got me hooked on kpop- bts- and well you just can't listen to songs if you don't know korean! I can't find any app to make me feel like I was enjoying my learning. That is- 'till I bumped into this app. Tbh it feels cute playing it- but in a way that is not overbearing. It's simplicity makes it easy to grasp the meaning and terms. I only had seconds of making out words through the app that I must give stars and ratings(mind you I never give ratings on apps-super rare) it goes over basics and it's a colorful app...so if you have a hard time understanding things with no color this is the app for you.

Useful but too fast. The transitions between the vocabulary words and practice is too fast. I’m a language acquisition professional, and I know that the transitions are too fast. Normal people’s brains need more quiet time and down time to process new information so that it sticks. The games are good, but also too short. The word find puzzles give the answers to the students too quickly. If a teacher is always giving the answer too fast, then the student doesn’t learn the target language. They get conditioned to let the teacher speak for them. Students need time to create the circuits in their brains for new information and providing an answer automatically disrupts that process. However, I’m giving it 4 stars because the vocabulary presented is very useful.

Pretty good for vocab. I’ve been using drops for a couple of years on and off and I personally do like it to be exposed to a lot of vocabulary, but the efficiency is questionable in my opinion. The main issue I’ve come upon is that due to the exercise type you don’t have to actually learn any words you can just eliminate from the choices given and arrive at the correct answer. There is very little memory recall done in this app, because it basically gives you the answers, or makes it extremely easy to figure out what the answer is. I would really love if they added an exercise in which you actually use your keyboard to type out the word, not four choices, not premade syllables to choose from, actually type out the word yourself. That requires actual recall not just process of elimination. That being said the team has clearly improved the app and added a lot of content which I appreciate. Also since it has no grammar lessons I do not recommend it for that (personally I need sentence composition to be explained to me because frankly…you may end up sounding weird or text bookish if you just memorize sentences)

Picture association language learning. I had already learned the Korean alphabet on the owl language app, but friends told me to also look into other Korean learning tools. Even just doing Drops for the free five minutes a day has improved my language learning so much already! And you can sit through commercials to earn more daily time if you can’t afford the premium membership. I’m already at over 400 words and I’ve been using the app for about 3 months now. The only complaints being that 1) sometimes the pictures used for the word association isn’t always something that feels like a proper association and 2) that they won’t allow you to use this app for multiple language learning for free, you can only learn one language at a time which is a bummer. Especially for someone like me who is also furthering my Spanish speaking skills. However I also know there’s far more free resources for Spanish than Korean language learning at the moment. 3) There is no intake exam to test your level. One of my friends didn’t like the idea that they would have to start at square one if they downloaded the app, but I think this problem can be solved by choosing lessons that work best for you. You don’t absolutely have to do the ‘beginner’ courses. Overall, I really like the style of learning that this app offers. I think it would be really great for children learning new languages too!

I love it!!. Everything about this app is amazing. I just wish you didn’t have to be a member to get more than 5 minutes everyday; but I do get why they do that. I think that if you are working super hard at Korean this might not be the best app just because you only have a limited amount of time everyday; but if you aren’t hardcore studying and only need a few minutes to touch up your Korean this is the perfect app. I also really like how it’s more interactive and like a game so it keeps us interested. Now I’m not super far so I’m not sure if this come up later but I hope this app allows voice pronunciation because you could know the word but not knowing the pronunciation doesn’t help at all. But over all I love this app.

Very pleased. I’m a Korean culture enthusiast and I’ve always thought the best way to understand a people is to first speak their language. There aren’t any Korean teachers where I live so, naturally, I took to language-learning apps. One of my favourite things about Drops is that you can easily track your progress and the app makes sure to give you enough practice with a specific word. It’s not a perfect app and I did have to do my own research elsewhere about letter and sentence structuring, but if you’re serious about learning the language, I would definitely recommend this app for it’s the only one that is yet to disappoint me. In regards to the new update though, I would like to ask the producers of the application to re-evaluate how they expect us to draw certain characters. I feel as though there is no one starting or ending point for each and every letter, especially in Korean where a letter is literally a square (ㅁ). I suggest that we be allowed to start and stop at whichever point on the letter, provided we know how to write, yes? Apart from that, an overall 10/10 app.

Great App!. I love this app so much it’s really fun and allows me to learn anything I want from each category the only thing is the 5 minutes for every 8 hours is too long because you have five minutes to learn new things and then can easily forget it until the next 5 minutes return which you quickly review and then move on to more words which only stays in your head for a moment. It’s a great app for a lot of languages but that would be great if it could do a little longer or help with better review. Also I wish there was a way you could practice how you are saying it. So along with hearing it and writing it properly we can also speak into it to sound correctly.

Love ❤️ Love ❤️ Love ❤️. I have been trying to learn Korean ever since I’ve plunged into the world of k-pop and k-dramas!. I’ve gone through almost all of the learning apps in the App Store. But I’ve finally found the right one...Drops! Drops has improved my Korean by a lot. In the beginning I didn’t even know what Hangul was! I totally recommend this app to people who want to learn Korean but don’t want to spend boring hours just staring a alien sighs trying to remember them... Drops helps you remember all the characters easily by giving you little mini games and saying the pronunciation each time. When summer is over I’ll be able to read and write Korean like it’s my own language!!!!😘😘❤️❤️!. 가자!!🔥❤️🔥

Great app so far!. This app is very good and is free! It’s much better than other apps because it gives a more obvious easy way of learning and memorizing new words! This is especially good for me to use to get my brain working in the mornings and for when I really do need it to freshen up my brain! If anyone downloads this I definitely recommend 100%! (Although I’m not sure how accurate this app is) Maybe you won’t become the most fluent, but you will definitely gain knowledge quickly and the challenges are worth the try! (EDIT: I think another good idea for this app is to make the free version 10 minutes instead of 5 due to the fact that 5 minutes is only going to help you with so much rather than having 10 and being able to break down what you’ve learned and apply it within a plentiful time span and stress free without worrying about the time limit and rushing your thought process which could cause you to get a lot of incorrect answers.)

This app is near perfect! One thing to mention.. This app is amazing, it truly teaches you your desired language in a way that makes it easy to remember. However, i do like to learn the pronunciation of a word first and once i learn the sounds, i move on to the alphabet & writing. I turned off the “writing practice” option, but there are still some pages that pop up that only have the writing, and I’m unable to complete the section because of this! I’m not sure if this was intended, but maybe could you remove the writing only practice pages if the “writing practice” is off? Other than this, 5/5 stars, beautiful layout, amazing job guys.

FINALLY everything I’ve been looking for but I have one complaint.. I’ve been trying to study Korean and nothing would do it for me. I tried every site and every app. I saw this game and I got it. I was instantly blown away by how easy and fun this was. I actually enjoyed this a lot. It was fun and easy! In a matter of minutes I basically mastered about 20 new words! The developers really made this geniuses and how great and fun it was! The only complaint I have is just the time! It only gives you 5 minutes to play the. Wait 10 hours. I get that this game would be too good to be true if it was all infinite and free but I think we should be able to have 10-15 minutes of time. Most learners usually have daily schedules of at least 10-15 minutes but 5 minutes is a little low. I also think that you should lower the prices down a bit to 2.99 a month because it’s just very expensive and a lot of people don’t want to pay that much. This is finally the app I’ve been looking for and I’m getting so much out of this app and of how fun and easy it is. The different activities never ceases to keep me engaged in my learning. Thank you for reading this!

You can physically write the characters!. I love that you can physically write the characters. It would be even better if you could enter a mode or deck or something where it was solely writing (b/c I feel like that probably a good way for the brain to encode the characters) — update: I just saw they have an app called scripts which is probably for exactly that. Also, just FYI it looks like you only get 5 free minutes a day (Im not sure I just got the app & its telling me to rate for more minutes)—it went by way to quick for me, so I think if you look at it as an app you pay for that you at least get to try before buying then it’s probably a 5, but if you look at it as a free app you can get even more of, you’re looking at probably 3... unless you use it along with other apps I guess

SO HELPFUL!. Oh my gosh I swear this is the BEST and most efficient way to learn a new language! This program really goes in-depth helping you learn every word. This is the best place I've ever found while trying to learn a new language. The only thing I would change if I could would be if we were able to use this program for more than 5 minutes every 10 hours. I feel like having more time would definitely help the user memorize the words easier for the next time they come back. In 10 hours you kind of have to have a whole refresher to remember again. Still though, my point stands. The way this app works, not counting the time limit, is the easiest way to learn a new language.

download drops now!🌧💧🌧. i am almost intermediate in korean, but my vocabulary isn't that big😅 so i decided to download drops a few months ago! i'm so glad that i did because now I can start making any sentence I want because of drops! another thing i love about drops is the time they give you. i think it's helpful to study in smaller sections than 3 hour long practices. another thing i enjoy is that there are no "lives". just like in duolingo, if you get 5 things wrong you have to wait, but you don't have to do that on drops so you can enjoy the full learning experience. even if you are a beginner, i suggest using drops, because it's a great learning app/tool, and it's free! thank you drops for helping me learn! 🌧💧🐰

Amazing app. This is a very good app, I downloaded this app so I could learn the Korean language and study the Korean culture. I recently got into K-pop so this is very helpful when it comes to trying to learn lyrics. This app can be a little confusing in the beginning but you get the hang of it the more you continue. I also really like how you get to set goals and how there is a timer on the app so you can know how long you’ve been practicing. I do ten minutes a day and sometimes more. Overall this is a great app and you should download if you’re looking to learn more about the Korean language!

Amazing, just one thought. I’ve wanted to learn a language as I am planning on becoming an ESL teacher (English teacher) in Korea or Japan. I’ve found Korean much easier than Japanese but I haven’t found the app to help get me going to learn the language, as none of them have really figured out how to incorporate the language and a system to help me memorize. This one surely does it, the lessons definitely make me remember the letters, how to write what I am presented, and how to say it. I do suggest that the normal version should have at the least 10 or 15 minutes; as 5 minutes is too small of a time limit for someone as serious as learning a language as me. Other than that, thank you for making this app!

😨. Starting off, this app I great. I've only written a few reviews but I would really like to recommend this app. You get to choose the topic you would like to learn, restart a topic, hide words so you don't have to learn them, and much more. It has a variety of outstanding abilities, and I've only listed a few. This app is great for anyone trying to learn a new language, it shows you the word, connect the word with an image, and repeatedly shows you the word over and over again. I've found it very easy to remember and correctly pronounce the word I'm trying to learn. I do feel like there could be a way to manually type the word, in case anyone wants to try it in a conversation or something. This is only coming from someone who has been using this app for a month, so I may not know everything Drops can do, but I can assure you that it's worth it. There are streak rescues, ways to train your brain, collect badges/awards for completing a task, and overall motivating you to try and learn that new language you've been trying to learn! Overall it's a great app, and I recommend it to anyone who is trying to learn a new language. (GET THE APP NOW 😁 PLEASE or don't but still do something try learning a language or idk Google Translate isn't always the best so get your lazy bum up and do it already)

Amazing app but I have a request.... So yeah i really love this app and enjoy it a lot and I’ve also learn so much with it and it’s literally perfect and all but each time i can only practice and learn for like 5 minutes?! Idk maybe 10 minutes would have been better cause like 5 minutes is just toooo short T^T And have a little request from you... can you also add another language (Persian) my cause my mom speaks Persian and she wants to learn English all the time but there’s not any good app such as Drops so i was thinking maybe you can add Persian language too so that my mom and the rest of her family can learn with it... But anyways thanks for making such amazing app this is the best I’ve literally learnt more than 5 languages with it thank you 🙏🏻 seriously I’m a huge fan keep up the good work ✊🏻👌🏻

Great for vocab building. I’ve been using various resources but this is really nice for simple vocabulary building. It targets learning the word through various ways, choosing between two option, matching, yes/no, and “spelling”. The only thing I will say about the spelling is that it’s romanized spelling, not hangul, so this is not something that is going to help you in that area if that’s what you’re looking for. But I do appreciate that each time the word if shown, it is also “spoken”. This may be annoying for some people but I think it’s incredibly useful for pronunciation at the word level. Enjoying it so far! Update: literally the second after I post this, it offered me more time. And then I see lessons in consonants and vowels! I’m not sure how deep it goes, but it will at least help you learn the alphabet and also teaches stroke order/ handwriting. The vowels seem a bit repetitive but I am also already familiar with them so it might be just right for complete beginners

Love it, thanks update. I love this app and I’ve learnt so much with it. However, recently it’s been crashing almost every time I try and open it. I have to be soooo careful when it finally does not crash instantly... aaaaand then it crashes again. Developers, pease do something!! I love this app but I can’t open it!!! Edit: I just sat tight and waited for an update and I think it’s working again now! Thankyou developers I really missed learning Korean for a bit there :)

Dropping the game. Do not forget to call who has been doing this for years he said it was an important part of his decision and to provide him to a more stable young team to help us out to be better and to continue to do And you will see how much you love to do and I cannot is that I am getting to do things like I do did I just got to use real time estate I And you are going through I’m sure I would say I Tt I up and I I And I’m sorry to I hope you feel good I And you I’m going to take call and to come to t to do and I if I could I I’m going to try to make you happy because it’s going on and I

So good. I actually tried drops expecting it to be meh, but I love it! I’ve been learning Korean and find it difficult to remember words, but drops makes everything so easy. I’ve made far faster progress here than I have on other apps!

Easy vocabulary game. This app is great for quickly learning a handful of words each day. I also use a couple of other apps for Hangul and grammar, but this breaks hard studying up with a light and easy 5min game. I recommend saying the words out loud so that you can grasp the pronunciation correctly and take the words to mind. I don’t know if I’d need the premium account as yet, because I’ve only recently begun learning Korean but I love this app for its simplicity and effectiveness. Great work team! 🫰🏼

Not happy.. I loved this app and learning Korean made it really simple for me however, 너는 means you are and it has bean saying that it means I for instance they said that this 너는 좋아한다 means I like but it actually doesn’t it means you like. I’m actually very disappointed because I have spent money on this app and a lot of time. I used this app and every time I learnt something I wrote it down and I have written 27 pages worth of it. I feel lied too and I’m very mad about this. I hope you fix this.

It’s good but annoying. It’s a good app but it’s rlly annoying when it comes up with premium or whatever and you have to keep on clicking the cross button. And also when writing the letters, it shows you how to write it and where to trace. At first I think it is good but after when you learn it you should remove it because you start to rely on it and you don’t end up learning anything. It also really annoying when you have to repeat the same work or the letter over and over again. Like geez.

Great but could teach us more. I think it’s a wonderful app, but it would be really good if it spent more time explaining the structure of the sounds and grammar. It’s fun but some of the pronounciation is a bit confusing to hear because it is said too quickly or roughly. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be, but great app anyways!

The variety. I enjoyed the variety of words that correlate with each other as well as the multiple connect words with pictures. This really helps to learn and understand the words easier.

Drops. I love Drops It’s a great app for learning languages but I think we should have more time for learning the words that I am learning, but other than that it’s REALLY AMAZING app for learning any language you want.

Love it. Only one thing for me there is like no English caption. And but I just started and it’s been REALLY helpful and it makes it way more easier and fun to do!!! And that’s it, thank you for making this game. I’ve been trying to find a app to learn Korean for a long time ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

So far, so good!. I’ve completed the first lesson and learned a few words. Seems that some words get repeated more often than others, which is a bit disappointing - I feel like recognising the Hanggol characters for bread is not going to be super-useful...

It’s slow and efficient. The fact that it takes the time to let you absorb the information is a massive plus!! I am a slow learner and it really helps. It also gives you a visual representation of what you are learning.

I like and recommend it. I would rate it 5 if people who use the app would get more opportunities to learn vocabulary. I rate this app 3 stars due to it being an effective way of educating people to learn efficiently. However, 'drops' lack in providing a good amount of time and opportunity to learn other vocabulary or become better at the language being learned.

Verity. I think the app is amazing it makes words more easier to understand but I wish it you can learn to speak in sentences correctly because languages in Asia (im Asian) when you speak a language from there sometimes in sentences the platform is different to English like words are in different spots and you say this before this so I hope the app can have something like that

Easy to Use. Very easy to use, the instructions are simple and quick. Have English, Romanised and Korean titles which makes learning/pronunciation a lot more easier. Maybe would be better if it started with learning the alphabet instead of foods. But I haven’t looked far into this app to see if its an option. Would recommend!!!

Amazing learning experience however changes could still be made. It’s truly great, whether you’re a beginner or already have knowledge of the language. Despite this, I hope that when pronouncing the specific words, vowels etc. they add underneath (doesn’t really matter where) how they are specifically pronounced in case 2 or more things sound the same. For eg. I was learning Korean and one consonant sounded as if it was pronounced at gu or ku however, as a beginner, I could not tell. So I hope they spell it out for you somewhere on the screen (g-oo or k-oo, or any other word) in case this confusion occurs.

Good app but…. This app is very good for people learning Korean or trying to improve in Korean but if you want to learn for free you will have to pay money. You get only 5 mins a day to learn and then you have to either pay money or wait till the next day. I am a little disappointed in this app.

Amazing. I’ve used multiple apps to learn the language I’m learning, and by far this has been the best. I’ve found it the easiest and most effective.

LOVING THIS. Hi, I am loving this app so much and it’s a great way to learn easily. Although u do have to pay for a longer session and ad-free, I don’t really mind but I saw one review on this app and you replied that we could actually “watch ads to get longer sessions” and I really want to know on how to do it. But overall I am enjoying this learning app and I would definitely recommend this to my friends and others!

Amazing app. This app is amazing and there’s really not much they can add that will make it better but keep it contemporary the only thing (this isn’t even a suggestion) is that there isn’t an Australian English option which is quite annoying sometimes but apart from that it’s absolutely amazing (Edit) now I’ve used it a bit more if I look at two topics and don’t exit the app between looking at those two topics I can’t exit the second topic so I have to go into app switcher turn off the app wait a few minutes then go back in (Edit 2) I’ve just realised due to App Store policies they can’t upgrade it so when bugs do occur they fix them But maybe on the main app add Aussie 🇦🇺 English pleeeeeeeeeease ❤️🇰🇷❤️recommend to all learners

Amazing app! Super helpful. I’ve always wanted to learn Korean but it was so difficult to find the right app. After a little digging I found drops! This app is super helpful, it has challenges and sets you goals! Although it does beg for you to get premium it’s still so good. I definitely feel like drops should work on giving us less promotions but other then that I totally recommend this app! Let me let u in on a secret, MY KOREAN FRIEND FINDS THIS APP SOOO COOL!! Definitely download this app when u have the chance <3

Amazing. I love this app, I personally use it to learn Korean and it makes it so easy i can even know how to not only say but write it too which makes it soo easy 😍 The only thing is that the time limit is very short but it has helped me so much and even though I'm still learning it makes it easy to learn love the app and definitely recommend 😁😁😁😁

AMAZING. this app is so much better than the other ones. It helps me so much learning korean so I can understand my friends easier. I recommend because it will help you a lot more and it’s all free

I love drop. I love drop. Drop is an app that you can learn different languages. Drop makes ot easier to learn the language which makes me happy. So far I have learned 10 words in Korean.

Digs it down. I played this months but than I lost motivation over time. But when I came back everything was still in my head I just needed reminding.

I love drops. I Lover drops it is very nice and t really helps me learn I however do wish it wasn’t pay for more time I feel like people should be allowed to use it for however long they want so if they want they can learn a little bit faster or if they feel like learning more. Drops is fun and kind of addictive so if we could all get more time it would be nice we would be on drops a lot more.

Fantastic Idea!. It a really good idea for learning words and improving your skills for different languages. I wish there was a price pre month, not just for a year, other then that, great game!

I’m so exited that I found this app. So I have been learning Korean for the past 4? Days and this app really stood out to me! To start with I love the art style and how easy it is to answer anyways I’m hoping to use this game more often!

More Hangul please. I’ve just done the first lesson so far, but am enjoying it. I think there need to be a bit more explanation of the Hangul syllables - for example they could break the word into Hangul letters or syllables the same way they break it into English syllables when the voice says the words.

Really nice. It feels so nice to use. It has a really simple design but feels very high quality. It's quite different to how a lot of language learning apps work, and I love how many categories there are. I haven't been using it long so I haven't found anything wrong with it yet. So far so good

I love this app!. I have wanted to learn Korean ever since I started liking K-Pop and now that I’m on my school break I can practice everyday with the help of Drops! Thank you so much for making this app, you don’t know how thankful I am.

great app for any skill level!. i already know a bit of korean so this app really helped me polish my vocabulary!! it would be better if the time limit was 10 minutes per 10 hours but it doesn't really bother me that much. it would also help if you could unlock more vocab subjects. overall i love this app!! its great for a occasional study and its not too serious unlike duolingo.

PLEASE READ AND THIS AIN’T A FAKE RATE. Hi so I started using this app about 2 days ago, I deleted it since there was major problems 1. You could only have 5 minutes of learning 2. You have to wait 8-10 hours to study again And it was too much for me too pay the premium but if you do have the money you can download it but I’m not gonna waste my money I just downloaded a better app which u can use anytime you want and don’t have to wait a long amount of time to study

I love it. I love this app it repeats the word plenty of times and acknowledges many examples to express the words, maybe add the Korean alphabet as a tutorial and make adjustments for the pronunciation. So the words are slower for a beginner as we tend to misunderstand the pronunciation, overall the app is fantastic can’t wait for the improvements in the next update! Highly recommend this app as it a wonderful app for everyone who wants to learn korean

Happy. I think this is a very good app to learn Korean I like how if you don’t pay premium it gives you a 5 minute timer I like this because it makes you have to think fast and gives new words regularly. I have been studying the korean culture and other cultures for a long time now and I think this is perfect for someone that wants to learn Korean fast at home :)

Loving it. I’m having so much fun learning some Korean words, I thank you for this opportunity. So far the words have been easy to remember with this style of teaching.

I love this app but there’s one problem for me... I just got this app yesterday and I really enjoyed it! So today, I thought that I should get the free trial, but when I went on to do one of the topics, it’s like my free trial was gone. I didn’t have any of the stuff, and it said that I could get the free trial again even though I’ve already gotten it. And I did go into settings to see if it’s in subscriptions, and it was ! Please fix this 🥺

Love it!. Super easy to learn, its interactional and doesn’t waste time spending unnecessary time on the same information, it’s keeps a quick and steady pace so you are always engaged. My kids enjoy this app very much

Could be more effective. I personally love drops! It’s a great way to learn any language and it’s neat and pleasing to use. Although, as well as enjoying this app, I have found that it does become very easy once you wrap your head around it. Every time I write a word out, it has either what it looks like up top, the outline to show you where to write, or has just been shown how to do. I think that it would be much more effective it was mixed up a bit. If I could give 4.5 stars I would!

Amazing app. I love this app because it’s so useful when your just learning a new language. It gives you chooses of what language your going to be practice. You do have to pay for the time limit but I haven’t yet and it still soo useful if you don’t wanna pay then it gives five minutes a day! The illustrations and fluency is very good. It also give you reminders every day. In my opinion it’s an awesome app to learn new languages. TRY IT OUT!

amazing for young language learners. im in my early teens and curious about korean culture and its language. thanks to drops, i learnt the basics in a minimal amount of time and the way the ‘game’ is set out is so fun and enjoyable. although i wished the time that i am allowed more time to continue learning is very long so i only end up studying korean in the morning and late at night due to the time. overall, this app is one that i would recommend to many and i hope that you would consider shortening the time so that i can continue learning korean easier.

Very helpful. I find this app very helpful in remembering words. I recommend doing a run down on characters separately so you can focus on the words and there spelling in your languages alphabet for faster intake. The alphabet in Korean is quite easy to learn so as long as you know the words meaning it’s easy enough to read the characters or convert the word into characters. Basically I learned the characters first but I have no idea what I’m reading and this app is helping me solve that.

Drops. I like drops and I started just today. It’s awesome! It teaches me lots of food in less that a minute. I have another app but this one teaches me main Korean. Before I didn’t know that much I only knew: hello in in Korean (I don’t know how to right it in text.) It was my dream to learn Korean and I’m finally starting it today! My best friend was Korean and she moved away from me so instead I wanted to learn Korean. I just gotta wait 10 hours more until my next lesson! Thanks drops!

Review. I love drops!! Best app to practise and learn Korean but the only thing I don’t like about it is that I think the app could be better if they allowed a little bit more time then 5 minutes for free because most of the 5 minutes you get is reviewing and what you had already learnt and you hardly get time to learn anything new…apart from that the app is amazing and I recommend downloading if your trying to learn a language:)

Great!!. I love this app so much. Many other language learning apps are clunky, difficult to understand. Drops is so simple but appears sophisticated. I initially used a separate Hangul app which helped me to better understand how the writing system works first, as drops introduces this in a random way which I don’t think helped me very much. Otherwise, I’m now learning Korean vocabulary with drops. It’s great!! I love that the native pronunciation is included. I know if I bought the subscription I would use it for longer, but it is nice to learn slowly and write out new words everyday (plus I’m learning Swedish elsewhere so I don’t get too overwhelmed!)

Great app. It’s very helpful (from what I’ve seen but I’ve only used it for 1 five minute session) it allows you to have the word repeated to make sure you hear it properly and it slows down plus it revises multiple times within the session. I think I’ll be able to learn a language fast

Excellent app. It was extremely helpful!! It shows the word and a pic over and over again , and it’s soo helpful to remember as there’s a voice always telling you what the word it. Would highly recommend this app

Don’t know what happened!?. I was going so great I got so many milestones but than it logged me out and I can’t figure out the password to get back in? I was really enjoying this game until this happened. I will always love this app but I don’t think I can use it any longer. I am not sure if it was just a trial or something but drops please help! Plus the thing that it is supposed to send you didn’t come through.

Effective Learning. Drops works really well when learning languages that are similar. For example, I am learning Korean using Drops. I am a native Chinese speaker and also using English most of the time. in my personal circumstances Drops has made it so easy to learn the speaking based Korean language. There are many similarities between Korean and Chinese, Korean and English. Drops is very effective in helping me in this context.

Wow. I literally just stared learning Korean after knowing literally nothing I have already, in just 5 minutes, been able to pick up a bunch of words. I hope it just keeps getting better!!

4 stars. This app is using great training ideas, it is pretty easy for me to learn using images and going over them a couple times. Although I wish I didn’t only have 5 minutes a day and the additional 1 minutes occasionally. The only way I can get more time is to pay which I don’t have the money for. But I would definitely recommend this app because it really helps!

Good. Excellent

It’s a good side way to learn while out and about. Not bad for free

Cool. C’est génial

Korean drop. Really fun wish you could have full access for less

First try. *Update* excellent app. Just give it time for you to get through the beginning and you'll see how it can truly help. I'll likely buy the subscription soon. So it's visually nice but the problem is the timer. Rather than letting you focus on the first set of words looking at the characters and building a foundation, you are presented images with what they're called in Korean but you'll focus more on the English spelling and speed through it to get that 5 minutes. It's helpful if you are looking to learn audibly and not so much read and write in Korean. I'll keep going and if it actually gets better then I'll update my review.

Drops. Super

Idk. Idk

Learn Korean Hangul. - I really like this app

Li. Приложение супер🤝🏻

App linguistique. J’aime beaucoup, mais je débute en Coréen donc pas nécessaire de vous dire que je comprend rien lorsqu’ils écrivent pas en latin .

Very good!. It helped a lot with my Korean. Recommended!

Actually Fun!!!!!!. Although it was a bit scary learning so many words right when I downloaded in just five minutes, it was really good! It’s fun and interactive and best part is ITS MADE BY KAHOOT SO EVEN BETTER, but ya I’m enjoying it. Also I like how it personalized what your learning for, maybe just add like a travel option? But it was really good.

amazing app. Im gonna get used to this app. Excellent learning method for korean learners.

This app is the best. It is really good

Drops. Easy to learn with but hard to memorize a few stuff

Love it. I enjoy so good

Wow. Rly good and it focused on getting you to ace those words.

AMAZING APPP IF YOU WANT TO LEARN KOREAN USE IT. Yed

Très bien. Super application pour apprendre! C'est interactif donc on revoit les mots appris. De plus, c'est amusant d'apprendre. J'aime aussi le fait de pouvoir choisir ce que j'apprends. Je rajouterai même que le 10h entre les leçons permet d'espacer les séances. Je trouve ça bien.

WoW. Wowwww

Really good. It’s really good it’s helping me a lot

Really good. It’s a really creative way to learn Korean I love it! It’s going to help me a lot when I listen to my music and watch kdramas😁😁

Nice. It is very easy to use and I learned so many new words in one lesson!

More time. More time pls but great for free

Really love this app. I really like this app and I think that it's great!! But the one thing that I don't really like is the time limit that is on there and then how you have to wait ten hours to get like five minutes. Other than that it's a great app😊

Amazing Design, Just 1 Flaw. the layout is perfect and this is the best app i have used but the only issue is that you only get 5 mins a day atleast give like 30 mins or maybe even 15 min otherwise i love this app so much

helpful. it’s a good way to learn korean. i honestly haven’t gotten bored so far. definitely recommend

Awesome!!. Very fun and interactive

First lesson. Very interesting and fun way to learn a new language

Good but…. The app is good but the thing that I don’t like is that you have such little time to do the things and after you have to wait 10 hour to continue

Fun. I really like this app for me. I mean I enjoy this app so much and I also learned a lot of things. 감사합니다😁

Awesome. Easy to learn, so much fun free words and phrases and easy for toddlers to learn

Love this. Taught me a lot of words easily in one day! Love this will be using it a lot for sure!

Fun app. Fun app to learn a new language

Learn you. Love it

Very nice. Very helpful

i really enjoy!. Even if you don’t have premium drops still finds a way to make 5 minutes of learning super fun! By using it everyday and have a streak u can with and extra 300 seconds or 40 and more love it!

Софія. Дуде цікаво)Дякую вам за рік безкоштовної підписки❤️

Fun. This is a fun and entertaining way to learn

Wow. It is really fun and you learn quick and you learn real Korean !! I recommande it for every age !

I have a brain now. Sucks we have to pay but it’s cool

Amazing!. This is a fun way of learning a new language to and it’s easy to remember the words as well, I would recommend using this app to learn a language:D

Very fun!. I dont really write revwoes but this one dererves one! Its fun snd awesome.

Parfait pour l apprentissage du coréen. Parfait appli

🤩. Thanks for the help!!

It’s pretty good. It’s a little hard at start but easy once you get the hang of it

Awesome! I learned so much! I am proud and this app is 100% working!. I love this! It is very helpful I got some wrong but that doesn’t matter! Tysm for making the app

The best. Drops is the best app to learn korean with I’ve been using it for 6 months and now I am so good at it check it out

I really like this. I do really like this app it’s fun with the little games and everything it helps me learn Korean in a fun way it also helps me so I can understand Kpop sometimes but one thing I would like to say it that I wish we could have more time on this app cause I feel like 5 minutes is not enough to actually fully learn Korean for me I know that there is more time if you pay for it but I feel that the people who don’t pay for should have at least 10-15 minutes because with five minutes that’s not enough time for me to remember everything

Fun and engaging. I’m 29 years old and I’ve forgotten what it was like to not know an alphabet, so this is a great way to get through the very weird process of learning a new one entirely. It really can’t be done any other way than rote, and games like this are a much better way than pencil and paper. This game in particular is so well designed to move quickly that learning is not hard to progress. The only thing I would like is a clearer demonstration of the differences between the sounds romanized as Gu and Ku, or other similar ones like J and Ch, as those sound very similar to my ears.

Great!. I love how organized this app is. It’s real fun too. I’m learning a lot even though I am an intermediate at korean. I suggest that you don’t make beginners learn the food before they even learn the Hangul. Also I wish that it would teach you more sentences.. rather than only words. But other than that, it’s an amazing app. I hope that you can lower the price for the full time learning and all of the pack as it is a bit expensive or at least give you 10 minutes a day. It’s an amazing app and I hope to see more changes in the future.❤️❤️

It’s Cool,. I like the app, the lessons are good, although I’m not sure when I’ll use some of the words, but I’m trusting the process! I don’t know if it’s cuz I’m old, but retention is kind of hard for me. It might help if they added a section where you actually write the words in the other language to help with retention; but I’m still doing good!!! I am learning, BUT a lot of the full phrases go by fast; there’s not a way to change the speed that it introduces new words or phrases to allow comprehension or enunciation. It just goes by so fast.

Amazing!. Okay so normally I don’t write reviews. But this app is amazing! And I’m not even that far into it yet. There are foundations and vowels, foods and so many other categories to choose! Even though I didn’t get the premium version I am already in love with this app! I’m trying to learn Korean for a BTS concert I’m traveling for in a couple years. It’s very important to know the language of the place you are traveling to so if you get lost or have to do anything like order off a menu you know what to do. I feel with this app I can truly be prepared to talk to others who don’t speak my native language English.

Amazing. This app is a miracle. I used to try to use books to learn instead of apps. It didn’t work out, but then I downloaded Drops and now I am way farther than I was when I used that book. You can also switch the language you want to learn anytime. The only problem is that it only gives you 5 minutes a day, which is kinda sad, because you have to pay in order to get more minutes. But that’s the only thing I have a problem I have with it. Other than that, I am very satisfied and recommend this app to anyone who wants to learn. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Bought the Genius plan but it did not work?. {Edit: The next day I still hadn’t gotten it. I emailed the developer and am waiting for a response} I had bought the genius plan and keep ‘re-buying’ do it could start working. All I got was a loading screen. I had done this a couple of times but it has not worked. If you have to wait till the next day then I will delete this and put it to a 5 star. I kept checking to see if it was going to work in the word collection but it says to become a subscriber. I had also went back to the topics and chose a topic but it did not let me go again (I had already used up my minuets) and I couldn’t go to another topic. I would like to see if it works the next day. If not then I had paid for a lifetime subscription for nothing and wasted my money.

Great for Vocabulary Expansion. I would say this app alone will allow you to learn a language, but it will certainly help you with vocabulary and a little bit of reading too. You can turn off romanized letters which I HIGHLY recommend. Only thing I wish they had was an option for me to only do listening exercises. There are exercises where you hear a word and select a picture depicting the word that as said, but most of the exercises are reading with a pronunciation after you answer. Overall, really good app and nice appeal keeping me wanting to learn more.

Thank you Drops!. Let’s just say I’m learning fast from this app!the way the words add pics makes it much easier for me! But I know that at some point I won’t use pics and I will use my very own voice as a way to speak! From the help from This app!i speak English and I found a Korean group called BTS and I fell in love with them and they talked a lot of Korean because they are! And I couldn’t under stand them and I had to use sub title which was pretty sad and I downloaded this app and I learned quickly! I’m still using it because I’m still a beginner! Thank you and thank you!

I love it!. I absolutely love this app and use it on the daily. Every day, I learn something new in Korean, and I’m surprised that I actually remember almost all of the words I’ve learned so far. My dream is to go to South Korea one day, so I’m learning for that specific reason (and so I can understand what people are saying in Korean without subtitles). I just think I’d feel good knowing I’m good at another language besides English. I will continue using this app daily, because it really is helping me learn and remember words and phrases in Korean. 💜

Extremely helpful. As an American who doesn’t understand a word of Korean but is a die hard fan of k-pop (Korean music) this app is very helpful to help me understand what my idols are saying in songs and lives without the help of not always helpful subtitles and captions I rate this app a 5 p.s. whenever I talk about k-pop around friends or family they always say “you don’t even know what they’re saying!” Now I can finally respond with “yeah I do know what they’re saying” instead of “you’re right I don’t know what they’re saying but I don’t care” thank you drops

this is a great app. 안 녕 하 세 요! First I just wanna say this is a great app I have no problems even though I wish I could afford 10 dollars a month 😭 but I’m good with my 5 minutes this app has taught me a lot and I recommend it to anyone trying to learn Korean it’s a very good app it’s very simple to use and it helps me when I’m trying to watch my kpop videos and I’m trying to look and the video while not reading subtitles lol anyways thats all I wanted to say I highly recommend the app and if u download it ur gonna have a great time! 안녕히 가세요!

This App Deserves the Full 5/5. My grandma is Korean, so naturally I developed a passion for Korea and its culture, as it’s a big part of who I am. My dad was in the Air Force so we were always moving, meaning I could never sit down with my grandma and learn about Korea with her. I was left to teach myself and was always on the hunt for something to help me better grasp the language and you guys came along. I’m so happy to have Drops, because it’s helping me get the education I need without being stressful or overwhelming. I’m nowhere near fluent yet, but to know that I now have the opportunity to learn the language my grandmother grew up with, I’m beyond thankful.

I ❤️ Drops!!. I love how drops gives you a romanized, visual picture, a person saying the word that DOES NOT sound like robot, and gives you reviews on the words you DECIDE to learn. Especially for a free app I am very satisfied with this app. Drops has such a beautiful rainbow gradient background that makes it so visual. To be honest, looking at the background makes me calm down 😂. It has so many topics you can CHOOSE to learn! This is optional, but I suggest writing down the words in romanized and Korean with the picture in a notebook! Again, I really enjoy this app and happy that I downloaded it! 💖👍🏼

Great! but.... Mk so I just started using this app and I’m very pleased, I love the voice and how it tells you to pronounce the word or letter, and how it gives you lots of practice for said word or letter. But I have one problem... and that is, why can’t I do it for more than 5 minutes without premium? Like I would like to study more, cause I think that Korean is a beautiful language and I learn it but I can only learn for five minutes AND I WANNA LEARN FOR AS LONG AS I WANT TO! So yeah that’s my only complaint. Please Respond as soon as possible! Sincerely, A fellow user.

My favorite part so far. I got this app because there is a Korean band I listen too And I thought it would be more fun if I could understand what they were saying instead of just reading the captions, and always having to pause the video to read the captions but I know it’s going to take time to get better at this. Specially and BTS‘s music videos I have to pause him all the time to see what they’re actually saying in the captions and it’s getting pretty annoying. My favorite thing about this app is where the word is in the middle and they are pictures of food or objects and you have to guess what object more food matches up with the word. That’ll for making this app!

This game is absolutely amazing!. I am not giving five stars not because it is a bad app or whatever it is just that I just started and so.. Anyways I learned a handful of words in like ten minutes! The only problem is I had to sign up which isn't really a problem I guess. Anyways, I have already learned bread (ppang) fruits(gwaii) and others! I do not know how to spell the others so I am not putting them.. But I am just learning korean because I know nothing about it! 😕I know Konichiwa but that might be Japenese. 🤔 Anyways, this is a great game and I would definitely recommend it! 😁 (P.S. Sprry if I misspelled anything, it is a bad habit of mine!)😬

Good so far. I’m liking this pretty well so far. I’ve only gotten one round. The one thing that bothers me a little bit is that there’s some romanization for the new vocab and I think it would be more beneficial for it to just be Hangul. When the vocab is broken down and scrambled they use the romanization form of it. If it was in Hangul we could learn each syllable block and learn each character at the same time, assigning sounds to each as a little kid naturally would if they were raised in Korea. Otherwise I keep accidentally looking at the romanized version instead of the actual language I want to learn.

Fix this feature to get 5 stars. When you hide a word (meaning you don’t want to learn it) the app continues to quiz you on it. This is extremely frustrating - if I don’t want to expend memory space on useless words, I shouldn’t have to Edit: hey Daniel, thanks for the response. In the sleep, mobility, and toilet sections, I’ve hidden about 50% of the words, yet I see them as often as the 50% that are not hidden. I understand this issue occurring in multi-response questions (the ones with 8 bubbles), but i don’t understand why they still appear on individual questions (especially annoying for the spelling ones). It’s bad enough of a problem that I entirely skip sections where I want to hide more than 25% of the words. Anyway, I look forward to this issue being resolved, as this is otherwise a great app for vocabulary building.

THIS APP IS AMAZING. I started not too long ago, and I really like it so far! It’s fun and easy to use and learn with! I really enjoy this app, and I know it’ll do great at teaching me! One of my favorite features — the TWO DAY STREAK RULE!! Thank you so much for making that, because unlike every other app you can actually save your progress! I also enjoy the reminders that quiz you a little bit because it jogs your memory, which I think is productive. Thank you for making this app, and have a nice day!! <3

update - why did you ruin the format?. (Your link to “contact the developer” took me to a drops website, not a developer, so I am answering your question here.) I originally liked the app and looked forward to doing it every day. After finishing about 15 units, the format changed. I hadn’t realized how much I liked the old version until you messed with it. Reversed type on a saturated color is irritating to read - especially when the rainbow of color blocks are on yet another rainbow. The previous design worked well to organize a lot of information cleanly. Conveying information took priority over the design. But the issue that made me mad enough to write is that you interrupted my path through the previous format - a path that seemed to have some logic to it. In the previous iteration, there seemed to be a hierarchy of information, where a deeper level would open up once you finished a unit. The new layout may give the user more options but it has less structure. I preferred a well thought out path to a long list of choices. Since the format change I have lost interest. If you could return my old version, I would be thrilled. -m

i usually never leave reviews but this app is fantastic. I’ve been using this app in conjunction with duolingo, lingodeer, and a workbook for about 4 months now. I use this app daily, which for me is a miracle. I tend to start things and put them down the minute it gets too hard. This app makes memorising new words a little easier and less daunting. I love how everything is structured and the narrators voice makes learning the pronunciation easier. Yes to learn sentence structure and grammar you will need other ways of learning, but this app motivates me to learn and has advanced my vocabulary more than any other app.

Definitely a good language app…. I don’t have the premium version of drops just because I’m trying to spend little to no money on my journey to being fluent in Korean. And even though you do have to wait quite a while for you to study 5-6 minutes a day I think it is still very worth it since it’s free. The images also are pretty helpful in the fact that they give a visual format. Yea that’s really all I have to say. :)) Have a great day/night!!! <3

Best app to learn!. I love to listen to K-pop song and I don’t wanna sing their song but I don’t know Korean so this app help me so much and now I’ve gotten better and better at Korean and I also get to sing the song I love this app so much you should try this app out because it really helps Korean with every standard if you’re a beginner or your advantage and you just want a little learn more so overall I really really really really really wanted and then also inspired me with daily tasks

Actually helping. I don't have a lot to say, but this app is actually very helpful. Myself as a person has been through a number of language apps that could only stay on my phone for about 2-4 weeks. It didn't help that some were overcomplicated and the beginners route was more like the advanced route. I feel like this one is helping me learn Koraen and use it throughout my daily routine, it's not complicated to use or too much to handle. The only thing I don't like is the waiting time, 10 hours till your next session. But I guess there's some sort of reason for that.

Really Helpful. I’ve been really wanting to learn a new language other than the one I’m already learning at school, and I thought Korean would be a good choice. This app is really helpful because the activities make you memorize the terms and give you an example of how to pronounce the words! The images are also super helpful because you’ll know what the hangul means. The only thing I wish they could change is how long you get to learn in a session, but overall, I am satisfied with the app and hope to further learn Korean.

The best app ever. This app is like if you want to learn like different languages and stuff if you have like friends that have like they have different language, do you you can always like chat with them or like talk to them in like real life so like this is a good app for that and I like her because my friend she’s a Hispanic, even though I’m not doing Spanish I could still chat with her because my other friend she is both so we can both chat with each other and we go to the same school we’re both in college and that’s what I love about this app. OK I can talk to her.

Good app, actually works for learning a new language. I love this app, I’m actually learning some Korean, and I tried dualingo and a lot of other apps and I was starting to think maybe it just wouldn’t work, until I found this app. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because you can only use the app for 5 minutes every 10 hours! Unless you pay money, which I don’t really want to do. It’d be cool if you could like earn more time instead of having to pay for it. That’s the only downfall I’ve seen in this app, other than that-great job!!

Great customer service. Had an issue with the app, and the customer service team was super great to work with. The only thing that changed with the last update that is off, is when you select your answer is the same tone whether its right or wrong. Would love a ding sound for correct answers and keep the wrong answer as it is now. I multi task while on break when doing the app, and it would be nice to hear whether the answer was right or wrong cuz my eyes are on my meal in between the questions.

I love it. Its a fun way to learn Korean and helps you memorize the words easier as you see the thing and hear how it sounds and its really fun to learn it like this. But I wish it could be 10 minutes of practice for the ones who do not have premium, I understand that you might not want to but some people cant afford more time for lessons (premium) even if its really important for them to lear a language. But I love it either way because its very good if you wanna learn it!

Pronunciation malfunction. Downloaded the app today but it just will not pronounce the words for me, I checked the settings and it's definitely on for pronunciation but it just won't do it, the only sounds that come out are the drop sound when they are about to introduce a new word, or when i get the answer right, other than that, absolutely no pronunciation, i deleted the app and downloaded it again, nothing changed . Edit: Thank you team drops for fixing the problem, re downloaded the app and everything was working well.

I love this app, there is one downside. This app is very helpful and I find that it works better for me than any other app I have tried, I actually enjoy and remember the content. The only downside is that you are only allowed five minute sessions before the app sets a 10 hour timer until you get another session. The app does reward you with extra time however and every five days you get 5 extra minutes(if you keep a daily streak). I definitely recommend the app if you want to learn a language/languages.👍

Really Great. This app is really great. I don’t feel overwhelmed learning another language when I use this app in like others. It’s really easy to use and saves your progress automatically. For free, you learn for five minutes a day. And with a membership, it is unlimited with many other benefits. If you don’t have a membership, the benefits you don’t have will NOT affect you in any way. I do wish that I could spend more time. But besides that, I really recommend this app for learning any language. It’s easy and fun.

Very nice app. I love the concept of this app. It uses clear pictures to demonstrate what you’re learning. I just wanted some extra 한글 practice. If you’re dedicated to learning lots and lots in one day, then I don’t recommend this. You’re given five free minutes for every ten hours before you have to pay to get more time. This makes it very stressful to learn efficiently when you know there’s a timer counting down your learning time. I could do without the timer, and maybe the developers could change it to where if you make purchases you get perks, rather than extra learning. Education should be free.

Great app for learning languages ;>. This app is so awesome in so many ways! First off, it lets you set a time to remind you to take another lesson not because you have to, but because that's when the lesson is available again. Say you already took your 5-minute lesson today. Now you have to wait another time period before you can start another lesson. The way it makes it different than other language learning apps gives you a whole nother experience. Try it out- you might like it!

Nice interface!. I love the interface of the app. I learned more basic Hangeul letters in 5 minutes than I have with the use of 3 different apps. You see the letter, hear the pronunciation and then match it with the English version. I love how it repeats the letters, has you play a little match game to keep it in your head. I don’t know what’s in the next sessions, but I would love to see an option on how to create words and phrases. The intimidating part of the Korean language to me is how you stack the consonants and vowels. Can’t wait to do more!

Great App to learn a new language. I’m learning Korean with the app and it’s great..😊..I usually tend to use many apps to learn new languages but when I found Drops, I realized that learning a new language with the app made it easy and faster to understand..I really love this app and I would totally recommend it if you want to learn a new language. Easy to use and easy to learn. The only thing I’d the app purchase but you can still used it without paying but you have to wait for several hours to learn new words. But your still able to review the ones you already learn..💕

Wonderful. I want to be able to travel to The Asia part of this world and study their culture. I am only a teenager, but my desires are filled with determination. I hope, this app will help me through my days of studying Korean language. It gives me an optional reminder at whenever time I set it to (so handy!) I am on the beginner section- barely reached the sentence construction- however, I already want to construct a sentence and began writing in Korean everyday. This app is even adorable! With colorful arrays as the background but crisp enough to distinguish the displays from one another. This app makes learning fun! 😘

Yes from me.... I’ve been trying to learn Korean for a while now because I love the culture but unfortunately I live in a small town in the US that has very, very small amount of Korean people whom I can practice with. And when I say very, very small amount, I mean next to none. But this app made it a bit easier to start learning some things. This app is very easy to use and very easy to learn from. I’ve had it for less than an hour and I’ve already learned a few things. Like I said, I’ve only had it for less than an hour but so far it’s a really good app.

This is a good app but.... This app is good for beginners but I would like if you could write the characters however you want. It would make it easier. Also I would like to be able to change how long a session is. I don’t have the money to spend on premium. It would be nice to not have to wait 10 hours to do it again. I really like this app but if people are traveling to Korea and they need to learn Korean and they think that this is the best app and they don’t want to spend money then they will have to find other things. I would give it five stars but because of those things I won’t. If you change those things I would definitely give this 5 stars.

Romanji?! Really?!. I would give this app a five star if only they can take out the Romanji.. Korean isn’t like Japanese. This languages’ pronunciations are clearly more advanced and different. Therefore, relying on romanji will only make your learning experience less effective. Being able to only have the option in reading ONLY in 한글 will not only improve in our vocabulary and pronunciation, but also reading skills in general. I try avoiding apps like this, because learning in just 한글 is very beneficial and brings you on the right path to speaking like a native~ If removing the romanji is hard for you guys, then why not have the option in hiding it for the committed learners...? Other than that, I support the app~

Amazing!!. This app helps so much with me learning korean. I would make a suggestion though. Instead of looking at the pictures when they quiz us(I’m only on beginner level), how about quiz us on the actual korean writing. I don’t know if that’s on the intermediate or advanced levels, but if not, I would recommend that change. Otherwise, this is a very good app and I will probably start to get fluent with Korean because if this app in a couple years. Gamsamnida, and Annyeonghigaseyo(thank you and goodbye)!

This is a really great app but.... 안녕 I like Drops because it helps you learn vocabulary in a fun way and for a while I didn’t think I was learning anything so I logged off of it for a while then recently went back and I realized that I really did remember everything!!! In the beginning I didn’t think it was helping me but it really did!!! Thank you Drops I am picking up Korean faster than I realized! One thing I would add is the actual characters I think it would be helpful to learn how to actual say sentences and learn what each character represents.

I definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. You see, I’ve been wanting to learn different languages for a long time (the one I most want to learn being Korean) but other apps would have me bored, and after a day or two I would just stop using the app all together. But with this app...it’s really amazing lol. The pictures, and repetition really help me remember, and it doesn’t just go over my head like with most apps, and I don’t know why, but this app is almost addicting,I don’t know but it’s almost...fun? And it has me excited to learn more, which is odd! I definitely would recommend for all ages, and even though I’ve only had this for two days I can tell that this app is very promising!

Quick and easy. Just started using this app a few days ago and already seeing a vast improvement not only in vocabulary but also in reading/writing and pronunciation. I actually look forward to my study time now and even find myself playing it like a game on my phone when I’m waiting in line or whatever. I’ve already downloaded the multi-language app as well in anticipation of adding more languages to my repertoire.

Relevance. I love this app, used it for a month or two before my trip to Korea, it is fun, comprehensive, and really helped some vocab stick in my head. One issue that could be fixed pretty easily is some cultural relevance issues. For example, the app had me practicing utensils, such as spoon, fork, and knife, but left out chopsticks! Similar issues with food, learning hamburger and hotdog instead of bulgogi and bibimbap. Again, great app, but sometimes seems like the vocab is designed for a western lifestyle, and there are a lot of missing important Korean cultural elements. Would love to see an update on this, but would still highly recommend this app, and I will continue using it!

Helps a lot. This app helps a lot even doing it for 5 minutes especially helps beginners ,but even if you aren’t you can get help by learning new things that you didn’t know where a thing that they said. The only thing I don’t like that much is that you ca. Only get 5 minutes unless you pay, but like I said 5 minutes are enough for helping you learn if you have a busy schedule. If you don’t have a busy schedule you might want to pay for 15 minutes or more cause if you don’t you can’t do it until 10 hours later. But as I have said before. I LOVE IT!!!

Admirable ^^ 너무 좋아요👍✨. Since I’m very much a visual person, the fact that it gave cute, clear little picture to go with the word and translation helped way more than people may realize. Yes, learning the word itself is very very important but even in reality, every word comes with a visual. So it definitely impacted my memory as far as it’s setup. From the word, to the smooth translation, back to hangul then the, very helpful, picture above to help locate and connect it all together. ^^ I greatly appreciate how the creators have gone about this wonderful app. 너무 감사합니다 💗드로프 화이팅!✊✨

Fun and effective!. This learning aid is fun, easy to use, and very effective. The clarity of pronunciation is better than I've found on other apps. This tool keeps me engaged with a variety of learning styles that introduces new words and then reinforces them in different ways like a game. There are many categories of words to choose from, some available immediately and some that you can "unlock" as you keep learning. The time limit on the free version also suits my style - it doesn't feel like a lengthy lesson and it keeps me coming back for more. I highly recommend this app!

This Really Helps! But..... I’m trying to learn Korean and having this app really helps. It gives you the option to either have the letters in English with the letter in Korean or just the letters in Korean. They give you fun activities to remember them. They also include pictures to make you know what they are talking about. Although, the reason I gave it a 4 star is because they give 5 minuets to learn new words. I wish they give us no time limit so that we can learn faster. And the waiting time is 9 hours! For you to go back learn new words. But overall it is a useful app if you want to learn Korean.
